[00:00:40] Um, what's, uh, video games to you? You're, you're very welcome. Thank you for having me. Oh, uh, today's, um, video game is one that I played on the Game Boy Advance. Um, it is, uh, Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.
[00:01:09] Um, this came out in the year 2003. It's a role playing game where you play a role, uh, in the game, which it's, uh, Mario and Luigi. Thank you. Um, and, um, as part of the game, you explore the bean bean kingdom, not the mushroom kingdom. This is a different kingdom, so it has different enemies.
[00:01:36] And, uh, you kind of just, uh, go around and, uh, there's turn-based combat like other role playing, role playing games. And the cool thing is, um, that there's, uh, humor in this game. There are lots of moments that, uh, made me, I didn't exactly laugh, but I, I kind of like
[00:02:03] breathed it out of my nose, like a, like it was, uh, as, which is a lot more than most video games can be do is the, I'm not sure if that's coming over the microphone or not, but I got it. Yeah. Okay, good. Um, so it's, uh, it's a good stuff. What did you, did you, what did you think of Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga? Uh, wait. Yeah. Okay. Uh, yeah, I, I really, really enjoyed Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.
[00:02:32] Uh, I love that. It's just the bros, you know, Mario and Luigi together in one game. There's nobody else with them. It's just, it's just the bros, you know, Mario and Luigi. They're, uh, doing cool tag team attacks. You know, Luigi will slam Mario down on an enemy or, uh, Mario will hit Luigi with a hammer, knock him into an enemy. Um, gosh, the main villain is pretty cool. Oh, Cackletta.
[00:03:02] She, uh, she takes away the, fuck, what's the princess? Sorry. Uh, what's the princess's, uh, name again? Toadstool? That. Toadstool? That sounds, Princess Toad. Yeah, that sounds right. Yeah. Cause she's Mushroom Kingdom. Yeah. Okay. Um. Uh, her voice gets stolen and then it's up to, uh, to our guys, Luigi and Mario to, uh, to save the day. And you know what?
[00:03:29] It's cool seeing Luigi, uh, coming fresh out of Luigi's mansion into this game. You know, Mario from Super Mario Sunshine. It's cool. It's, uh, had fun, fun game. You know, I never, uh. Good old fashioned fun for the whole family on the Game Boy Advance, you know? I never, uh, noticed your Italian accent before, but your, your Italian accent's kind of leaking through. I. Am I Italian? I mean. Who am I?
[00:03:59] You don't have to. Cause, cause it's. I. Oh my God. I don't want to, I don't want to make assumptions, but I just feel like. What's. It's, uh. Am I Italian? I. I mean, I just, based on the way that you were saying Mario, I just assumed that you were Italian. Um. Do you. How, how many. Okay. We can, we can figure this out. How, how many meatballs do you have? How many. Sorry. I don't want to interrupt. Dad, am I.
[00:04:30] Am I Italian? Am I, am I adopted and or Italian? I mean, uh. Fiddle sticks. Sorry. Gotta keep it family friendly here. I'm sorry. It's okay. I'll, I'll, I'll leave it out later. I am indeed, uh, uh, French. Oh, okay. Um, okay. That's. Hmm. Okay. That's, uh. Italian. Sorry.
[00:04:59] That, that kind of. Oh, okay. Italian. See, I was gonna. Okay. The, what, what gave it away for me is, is, uh, you say, uh, Mario, like you say your own name, Aaron, Aaron Mario. It's, it's, it's a dead giveaway that you're Italian. Oh, and, and Aaron is an Italian first name. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Oh. It's literally, it's literally, they, they take it out of the word macaroni.
[00:05:28] Aaron comes right out of the middle. Oh. Okay. Um. Mario is, uh, I liked this game. Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga. I really loved it. I liked this too. I liked this too. I'm, I'm gonna give it, uh, five, five stars and, uh, two brothers moves. I like that. Um, you know what? I'm gonna, I'm gonna one up ya. Sorry.
[00:05:59] I'm gonna do, uh, you know, five stars and, uh, you know what? Two baked Cavatappies. I don't know what that means, but, uh, thank you for listening to video games analyzed. Uh, check out next week when I analyze another video game. And it'll be a good episode. Keep on gaming. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye.
