[00:02:04] It's a classic but it's boring.

[00:02:07] It's like a little older, right?

[00:02:09] It's like old-ass games.

[00:02:11] Like this is that's got a lot of plays at 50s.

[00:02:14] Yeah, it was like I think it's really just you roll a die or you spin a thing in a term and so how many spaces you can move.

[00:04:21] It's a fun time we shoot the shit and then we usually talk or have like a main topic at the end of the episode that has to do with gaming and we'll talk about what we're playing and something that sometimes we have a little bit of story time.

[00:04:36] So it's a good it's a good laugh. Good hang out.

[00:04:39] Come check us out.

[00:04:41] Right on, I like that.

[00:05:46] I think that was a console.

[00:05:48] Yeah, to which I said I said no, it was its own console.

[00:05:50] It was its own thing right?

[00:05:52] Yeah, so it didn't hook up to the nest in any way.

[00:05:55] No, it was its own home thing.

[00:05:57] You just sit on a table and then you look into it.

[00:05:59] Have you tried it?

[00:06:00] Aaron?

[00:06:01] No, I've seen many people try it.

[00:06:03] I've never never wanted to try it.

[00:06:05] I would love to see what the fuck they were thinking.

[00:06:08] That man, that was cool.

[00:06:10] It was virtual dude.

[00:06:49] And you had to like subscribe to the actual channel through your cable provider.

[00:06:54] Yeah.

[00:06:55] Yeah.

[00:06:56] Fucking insanely ahead of its time.

[00:08:54] Okay.

[00:08:55] Yeah.

[00:08:56] Wow.

[00:08:57] So you could just do some navigation while you're out walking around gaming.

[00:09:00] I guess yeah, you're playing like Jack Daxter and you're like I need to I need to know where the.

[00:09:06] Marvin Gardens are something.

[00:10:48] Yeah, I think you needed it for Zelda.

[00:10:51] Yeah, and you needed it for a Donkey Kong 64.

[00:10:55] I think you need to also to play the co-op in perfect dark.

[00:11:03] That is fucking weird.

[00:11:06] Oh man that is crazy though.

[00:12:10] Yeah, I think I still have a GBA actually just know I gave it to our nephews,

[00:12:16] but we still have access to it.

[00:12:18] I still have all the games for.

[00:12:20] For what?

[00:13:14] I know, it's just like an ass-

[00:13:15] I'm curious is the why it's ascii.

[00:13:19] Like what does it have to do with?

[00:13:21] I think that's just the name of the brand.

[00:13:24] Oh is it?

[00:13:25] Yeah.

[00:13:26] It's a brand.

[00:14:24] Collectors man.

[00:14:27] Collector piece.

[00:14:28] Oh I gotta see this.

[00:15:40] What Barbie?

[00:15:41] Wow.

[00:15:42] Yeah, Barbie had a lot of stuff.

[00:15:43] Programmable talkable Barbie for PC.

[00:15:47] Whoa.

[00:15:49] Barb 1997.

[00:15:52] That's like...

[00:15:54] That species were not good back then so I can imagine that.

[00:15:57] That's f**king wild.

[00:15:59] Oh, but Barbie.

[00:16:02] Don't bait.

[00:16:03] Not fishbait.

[00:16:05] So you just...

[00:16:06] You could program that?

[00:16:07] Oh yeah.

[00:16:08] You could say anything?

[00:16:09] Cool.

[00:16:10] Talk with me, Barbie baby.

[00:16:12] AI.

[00:16:13] AI in the past.

[00:16:15] The earliest form of AI.

[00:16:17] Oh boy.

[00:16:18] Hey, that's it.

[00:16:19] That's all this cord comments.

[00:16:21] Yeah, now we'll get to our picks.

[00:16:24] Yeah, the big boys.

[00:16:27] Who wants to start us off?

[00:16:29] Would you want to start us off?

[00:16:30] Did we want to go with what we've had as kids?

[00:16:34] I'll go with one that I tried that we couldn't get as a kid.

[00:16:39] Or I should have got.

[00:16:41] Or that...

[00:16:43] I didn't know I needed.

[00:16:46] You know?

[00:16:47] So Jonathan probably remembers this.

[00:16:49] We went to Walmart one time and I wanted to get Yoshi Safari for Super Nintendo.

[00:16:56] So we bought Yoshi Safari, we bring it home, but the game didn't friggin work.

[00:17:02] Because we were missing the accessory that was needed to do.

[00:17:07] The accessory that was needed to shoot all the, I don't know, Safari animals.

[00:17:12] I guess you shoot the animals that Safari but it was like a big bazooka called the Super Scope.

[00:17:19] Oh yeah, yeah.

[00:17:21] So we ended up returning into game because my parents didn't want to buy me the Super Scope.

[00:17:28] But the Super Scope known as the Nintendo Scope in Europe and Australia is a first party light gun peripheral

[00:17:35] for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

[00:17:37] It was the successor to the NES Zapper.

[00:17:41] Super Scope was released in North America first or North America and PAL region in 1992,

[00:17:47] followed by a limited release in Japan in 93 due to the lack of consumer demand.

[00:17:55] I guess no one wanted this fucking thing.

[00:17:58] The peripheral consisted of two devices, the light gun itself and then the receiver.

[00:18:04] And I guess you put on to your TV or something.

[00:18:07] Was it wireless?

[00:18:09] Yeah, I think so.

[00:18:11] No, because it took six AA batteries says right here.

[00:18:15] Oh, okay.

[00:18:17] Wow, six AA's.

[00:18:19] Holy fucking God.

[00:18:22] Six AA's.

[00:18:25] Oh my god.

[00:18:27] I remember I was very sad.

[00:18:29] That was a very sad day.

[00:18:31] I was happy that day because I think I bought Zelda, like the past.

[00:18:36] And I didn't need no stupid gun to play it.

[00:18:41] Yeah, why was it Yoshi's Safari?

[00:18:43] Like you don't shoot things on Safari.

[00:18:46] You just like, yeah, you look at them.

[00:18:48] Yeah, maybe I don't know.

[00:18:49] Maybe it was just like to zoom in on the screen.

[00:18:51] I don't know what it was used for.

[00:18:54] Well, you actually do.

[00:18:55] Oh, no, you do shoot them.

[00:18:57] Yeah, you do shoot.

[00:18:59] You shoot a little monster.

[00:19:02] Yeah, why is it called a Safari though?

[00:19:04] Yeah, it looks like you're shooting like coupas and stuff.

[00:19:07] You had a Koopa Safari.

[00:19:10] Yeah, that's super weird.

[00:19:12] Kill them all.

[00:19:14] Kill them all.

[00:19:17] Wow, Bowser's even there.

[00:19:19] Damn.

[00:19:20] That's weird.

[00:19:21] Oh, it's like I'm really there.

[00:19:22] Look at the graphics.

[00:19:23] Yeah, it's like I'm really there.

[00:19:25] Look at that.

[00:19:27] Yeah, look at the freaking Japanese cover of the game.

[00:19:30] It's Mario just pointing at the camera.

[00:19:32] This guy bazooka riding a Yoshi.

[00:19:37] That was my first one.

[00:19:39] What about you, channel?

[00:19:40] Well, I you had mentioned it.

[00:19:42] Someone mentioned it on the on the discord there.

[00:19:44] So we can get more.

[00:19:46] We can get into more details about it here.

[00:19:48] But the res trans vibrator.

[00:19:53] It was designed to share the vibration load.

[00:19:57] With the PS2 controller.

[00:19:59] So, so I guess you plug it in and it vibrates when your controller vibrates for some fucking reason.

[00:20:07] But it's just this little.

[00:20:09] It's just this little block.

[00:20:11] This little block that was just a vibrator.

[00:20:14] And you just put it somewhere and it vibrates like I have no idea what.

[00:20:21] The purpose of it was other than for this.

[00:20:25] There was a blog post in 2002 on a website called Game Girl Advance.

[00:20:31] Okay?

[00:20:32] Where the author wrote a rather detailed article, if you can imagine,

[00:20:36] about how she was enjoying the trans vibrator, let's say,

[00:20:41] while her boyfriend played the game.

[00:20:43] And the post got so much traffic that she had to shut down like the comments section.

[00:20:48] Need.

[00:20:50] Needless to say, you can imagine how she enjoyed it.

[00:20:53] But like what else would you use this for?

[00:20:57] I don't know. I'm trying to find out.

[00:20:58] Like it basically looks like a mouse.

[00:21:00] It's like a little block with the cord on it.

[00:21:03] And it just vibrates.

[00:21:04] So what is it?

[00:21:06] To understand why anyone would want such a thing,

[00:21:09] you have to understand res.

[00:21:12] Res is not so much a game about music as a game constructed for the fabric of music.

[00:21:19] What?

[00:21:20] Yeah.

[00:21:21] You're not playing an instrument, you're shooting weird enemies inside a computer network.

[00:21:25] But with each shot you make, you add to the soundtrack.

[00:21:29] So that by the end of the stage, you're both listening to and helping to create

[00:21:34] a frantic techno maelstrom.

[00:21:38] But what the fuck?

[00:21:39] Why the vibrator?

[00:21:41] The inspired use of rumble functionality is a big part of this.

[00:21:45] The game wouldn't work nearly as well without it.

[00:21:48] Oh, yeah.

[00:21:49] I get the first time I finished a red stage and how my hands felt an actual sense of loss.

[00:21:53] As the tiny motors in the PlayStation 2 pad spun down to halt.

[00:21:57] But it's a tall, it's a tall ask for a game controller to

[00:22:01] Transcilarate res is frenetic lights.

[00:22:04] Jesus language here might have.

[00:22:06] This guy's playing right now.

[00:22:09] Why he was this guy.

[00:22:11] What he's trying to take this thing out?

[00:22:13] He's just got the vibrator going on.

[00:22:15] This guy probably has it right.

[00:22:17] He's got it right in his fans.

[00:22:20] The fucking vibrator thing.

[00:22:23] Holy fuck.

[00:22:24] I don't know if it's scrambled eggs or this fucking thing.

[00:22:26] It was just to numb your hands, I guess, or numb whatever body part you.

[00:22:30] But you're not gonna be holding onto it.

[00:22:32] You gotta use the controller and hold the controller.

[00:22:34] It's so strange.

[00:22:35] You sit on it.

[00:22:36] There was apparently a protective protective pouch.

[00:22:40] You could put it in so that yeah, you could sit on it or something.

[00:22:44] It's a late text pouch so you can stick it in your ass.

[00:22:49] You probably could put it in one of there.

[00:22:52] Yeah.

[00:22:53] So designed to be placed in a pocket by your feet or under a cushion.

[00:22:58] In a pocket.

[00:22:59] Your feet anywhere that might come to mind.

[00:23:02] Just put on the fucking floor.

[00:23:04] We get the most out of it.

[00:23:05] It's like rattling your whole house.

[00:23:08] What is that noise?

[00:23:09] Sorry.

[00:23:10] Body, are you playing the brass again?

[00:23:14] You put the body, you put the body.

[00:23:16] You put the body.

[00:23:17] Jojee.

[00:23:18] Jojee, what are you doing?

[00:23:23] Boosting usually means the trans vibrator provides a regular pulse along with the base of

[00:23:28] the music.

[00:23:29] Boosting the game's clubby feel.

[00:23:31] Freeing up the controller to focus on recreating melodic slurishes.

[00:23:36] Damn.

[00:23:37] Trance.

[00:23:38] I don't know.

[00:23:39] Okay.

[00:23:40] Guys, the guy who made this was definitely like techno trance, like rave dude who came back

[00:23:47] home he's like, I must continue.

[00:23:50] He's just constantly on ecstasy.

[00:23:52] Yeah.

[00:23:53] Still we do.

[00:23:54] When we get a peanut butter next to see sand which we know.

[00:23:58] He's just getting it in the room.

[00:23:59] He's like healing himself and like has vibrators all over him.

[00:24:04] Oh my god.

[00:24:05] Oh my god dude.

[00:24:06] So it's this dumb fucking like octagon shaped frame that you put on the floor and it's got

[00:24:12] like infrared infrared beams to basically sense your movements.

[00:24:16] You could use this in place of like the controller or D-pad or whatever.

[00:24:21] Just.

[00:24:22] Yeah.

[00:24:23] It just didn't fucking work.

[00:24:30] What the hell is this?

[00:24:33] Yeah, it's all the direction.

[00:24:34] Check that.

[00:24:35] ABC and start.

[00:24:36] Yeah, this is like ready player one shit like the VR except you're like even more of a

[00:24:51] player.

[00:24:52] I'm just sitting inside of this fucking ring.

[00:24:54] Was it kind of like you use your feet?

[00:24:57] Yeah, yeah, you like to use it for the D-pad basically.

[00:25:00] Check out the image I sent in the chat.

[00:25:02] This is how this guy used it.

[00:25:05] Oh my god.

[00:25:06] I was just jumping in it like what?

[00:25:09] I guess if maybe if it doesn't detect you at all it's like a jump.

[00:25:14] Yeah, maybe.

[00:25:15] Damn, I sent it.

[00:25:16] He's about to lay out of sweet fucking karate kick.

[00:25:20] He's got like leather shoes.

[00:25:22] He's like playing double dragon or something so yeah, he's definitely going to kick some ass

[00:25:26] there.

[00:25:27] He's fucking without a hair.

[00:25:28] Look at that hair.

[00:25:29] He looks like Johnny Silver from Crowdy Kid.

[00:25:33] Yeah, exactly.

[00:25:34] I was just seen about.

[00:25:38] Remember at the beginning of like Disney Channel original movie where like the kids would bust

[00:25:44] out those fat fucking flips and like kicks and shit in the air while it would be like the

[00:25:49] camera would like cruise through all the different loops and shit on the Mickey Mouse ears or whatever.

[00:25:54] Like that.

[00:25:55] Yeah, they have a heyday on that thing.

[00:25:57] Look at the walls in that room.

[00:25:59] You see like you see in a cave.

[00:26:02] I think it's just like a weird blanket.

[00:26:05] Gamer is just a backdrop.

[00:26:07] Yeah, it's a family photos on after.

[00:26:11] It was definitely dressed for it.

[00:26:13] Yeah, no, that's what it was.

[00:26:14] Yeah, that's true.

[00:26:15] That's fucking cool dude.

[00:26:16] I was just going to let the shoes on.

[00:26:19] Guys got like Italian leather friggin' loafers.

[00:26:22] We got a telly post a photo of people know where fucking talking about it.

[00:26:27] Dude, yeah, I'm saving this fucking photo.

[00:26:29] I'll put up a post on Twitter after we're done.

[00:26:33] Dude, dude, so cool.

[00:26:36] Dude is so cool.

[00:26:39] Oh, man.

[00:26:40] Holy shit.

[00:26:41] If I ever bid a shit in my hand on the Sega activator, I'm just going to jump like a fucking

[00:26:46] lunatic.

[00:26:47] You got to wear that jacket or that shirt he's got on it.

[00:26:49] Dude, if I can even find one of those, there's got to be a goodwill somewhere that has

[00:26:52] one of those shirts.

[00:26:53] You can do that hair though, Aaron.

[00:26:55] Dude, absolutely.

[00:26:56] I can't.

[00:26:57] Just as a bucket of gel, that's all.

[00:27:01] I bet you that's so hard.

[00:27:03] Like the top of his head is just glass.

[00:27:06] Dude, yep.

[00:27:07] Yep, you fucking toss a rock at the top of his head and you just shatters.

[00:27:11] Yeah, exactly.

[00:27:12] Oh man.

[00:27:14] What do you got Nate?

[00:27:17] Next up, what did I have here?

[00:27:21] Oh, the Game Boy link cable.

[00:27:23] Remember that?

[00:27:24] Oh, hell yeah.

[00:27:25] Tell you everyone had that when you got Pokemon blue and Pokemon red, you were out on your

[00:27:31] school yard trading Pokemon's all day long.

[00:27:35] I remember going out in the school yard and just trading everyone for Charmander's and

[00:27:39] then I got a whole team of Charmander's and then I would raise them to Charizard's

[00:27:45] and then I would just crush the game until I got to the water gym.

[00:27:51] The water gym was like the second gym, bro.

[00:27:55] Exactly.

[00:27:56] The water gym.

[00:27:58] Oh, crushed the game up until like two hours in.

[00:28:04] And then he just stopped playing.

[00:28:06] I can't beat the game.

[00:28:07] All I got is Charizard's.

[00:28:09] Yeah, he just lost everything.

[00:28:13] Man, though, they had so many different kinds of those cables too.

[00:28:17] Like the one I have for the longest time was this.

[00:28:21] It was like translucent purple and it was like it was pig-tailed in the middle.

[00:28:26] So God forbid you were like too far away and he tried to like pull your Game Boy closer

[00:28:32] to you or like any direction.

[00:28:34] It would just like fucking fall out of the other person's Game Boy.

[00:28:37] So that sucked.

[00:28:38] How far were you trying to do it, man?

[00:28:41] Like you're supposed to be close.

[00:28:42] I do my promote social activity, you know?

[00:28:45] I need my space.

[00:28:46] He's got an extended link cable that goes down and is like, for him.

[00:28:51] Yeah, dude, if I get up, I'm gonna wicked, wicked fucking sneeze coming up.

[00:28:55] You better get better back up.

[00:28:57] Just fucking buried in the ditches.

[00:28:59] It goes all the way to your buddy's place.

[00:29:01] And it's a subterranean link cable.

[00:29:04] Like a spook and five were all ticker.

[00:29:10] That was it.

[00:29:11] You didn't need the internet back then.

[00:29:12] No, he's needed the Game Boy 2 cable.

[00:29:14] Come to the 2 kilometer link cable.

[00:29:16] Well, imagine if you went back and changed history and made that be the start of the internet

[00:29:22] was just Game Boy link cables.

[00:29:24] And the whole world just ran on subterranean Game Boy link cables.

[00:29:29] Whether games use the link cable game.

[00:29:32] Lots of trading card game.

[00:29:34] I thought lots of games used it.

[00:29:36] Yeah, there was a bunch of them.

[00:29:38] I forget.

[00:29:39] I got a whole lot easier.

[00:29:40] Yeah, okay.

[00:29:41] Against people too with it.

[00:29:42] Couldn't you?

[00:29:43] Very legendary super warriors.

[00:29:46] Mario golf, Mario tennis man.

[00:29:48] That's crazy.

[00:29:49] There were a ton.

[00:29:50] You could also use the link cable with on on Game Boy Advance.

[00:29:55] Like there was.

[00:29:56] There was a thing was Legend of Zelda four swords.

[00:30:01] Yeah, yeah, you could go up through a game.

[00:30:04] Yeah, it was the same connector.

[00:30:06] It was the same.

[00:30:07] It was sure it was the same.

[00:30:09] Yeah, the end fit in both the Game Boy Advance and the original or the colors are all correct.

[00:30:17] Almost.

[00:30:18] Power quest.

[00:30:20] Oh, yeah, in like fire emblem.

[00:30:22] You could fight each other and fire emblem.

[00:30:24] Like golden sun you could fight each other.

[00:30:26] A lot of games had that kind of ship.

[00:30:28] Yeah, it was really cool.

[00:30:29] Nice nice nice man Nintendo like.

[00:30:33] It's like they've got this machine man in the basement and he just thinks of the old mission.

[00:30:40] Yeah, like he just thinks awesome accessories.

[00:30:43] You know?

[00:30:44] And then he comes out with the fat boy.

[00:30:46] What's it called?

[00:30:47] The Game Boy booster.

[00:30:50] He's like this one is gonna be really good.

[00:30:54] This one's gonna be hot.

[00:30:56] You might want to get on this one.

[00:30:58] Might want to open up your wallets boys.

[00:31:01] This one's going to be a hot seller.

[00:31:03] It's just this.

[00:31:04] Like that way.

[00:31:06] That by the way, that was my next pick.

[00:31:08] So, uh, oh good.

[00:31:10] Bucking is ridiculous.

[00:31:12] Oh my god, dude.

[00:31:14] High performance joystick.

[00:31:16] Super stereo sound.

[00:31:18] Multi adjustable magnifying lens with lights.

[00:31:21] Wow, this thing is just.

[00:31:23] Let me bring this up here.

[00:31:24] It's a fucking nightmare dude.

[00:31:27] It's just a monster.

[00:31:28] It's a velocity horrible.

[00:31:30] Like it defeats the whole purpose.

[00:31:32] Yeah, having a rainbow.

[00:31:34] Yeah, it's literally what it does.

[00:31:37] It's buried down.

[00:31:38] It's in your pocket.

[00:31:39] Just fit in your pocket.

[00:31:40] Look at this guy's hand is like so tiny compared to it.

[00:31:45] I like the all the old off white like yellow coloring of it when it's supposed to be white because they're so old.

[00:31:52] What is horrible?

[00:31:54] Do you guys see the picture of the Game Boy sitting inside it?

[00:31:58] Yeah, it's fucking you.

[00:31:59] It's like three inches around the game.

[00:32:04] It's so recessed in there looking kind of.

[00:32:09] There's like.

[00:32:10] Gross.

[00:32:12] It's just a case.

[00:32:13] It's just a case for your game.

[00:32:15] The magnifying glass.

[00:32:17] It's an autobox for your game.

[00:32:19] It was the autobox before autoboxes.

[00:32:22] Yeah, it's holy fuck.

[00:32:23] I wonder how many.

[00:32:24] How many batteries did that take?

[00:32:26] It's all the bells and whistles.

[00:32:27] You needed extra battery.

[00:32:29] Oh, for sure.

[00:32:30] No sound.

[00:32:31] Oh, fuck yeah, you did.

[00:32:32] I guess there amplified speakers there.

[00:32:34] Oh, yeah.

[00:32:35] You know, I had a light in there too.

[00:32:36] So I had to have taken a shit ton of batteries.

[00:32:38] Wow.

[00:32:39] Three D batteries.

[00:32:41] What?

[00:32:42] What?

[00:32:43] Oh, it's bright.

[00:32:44] No, it's fucking.

[00:32:45] Oh, yeah.

[00:32:46] It's fucking insane.

[00:32:47] Big weight.

[00:32:48] It's a big weight.

[00:32:49] Ten pounds.

[00:32:50] It's like these giant D batteries.

[00:32:52] You're not portable that.

[00:32:54] A fucking car battery.

[00:32:56] Yeah, car battery.

[00:32:59] Needs a 1200 cold cranking amps.

[00:33:03] Cold cranking amps.

[00:33:07] Jodel, what's your next one?

[00:33:09] I was going to have one that I use.

[00:33:13] Well, I used it until recently, actually, for my PC.

[00:33:16] I don't know what the actual game,

[00:33:19] the actual name of them are,

[00:33:22] but it's kind of like a half keyboard gamepad.

[00:33:26] I guess it's a half keyboard,

[00:33:29] but it's like a little gamepad that you use instead

[00:33:32] of your keyboard so you don't have like,

[00:33:34] you don't need to have the whole keyboard right when you're playing

[00:33:37] with a SSD on PC, right?

[00:33:38] So you use one of these half keyboard gamepads.

[00:33:41] I now had one by Razer called the Tardarus

[00:33:44] and I used it for the longest time,

[00:33:47] but longest time just because it's like more ergonomic

[00:33:50] is more comfortable.

[00:33:51] Oh, okay.

[00:33:52] It's like, yeah,

[00:33:53] and it's a really good thing for someone who has

[00:33:56] not a lot of desk space or

[00:33:59] if you want a nice small keyboard,

[00:34:02] then you can have something smaller than

[00:34:04] you, mouse always hits your keyboard on your gaming.

[00:34:07] It would be for you to get them together.

[00:34:09] Yeah, but yeah, I love that thing.

[00:34:11] I used it for a long time until I just got a new keyboard recently

[00:34:13] and I just kind of replaced it with a keyboard.

[00:34:17] Why not get another one?

[00:34:19] They discontinued?

[00:34:20] Because I like the keyboard

[00:34:22] I got has magnetic hall switches which are programmable travel,

[00:34:26] which is just really cool,

[00:34:29] really cool feature to have and like rapid trigger.

[00:34:32] So my movement is like faster on it

[00:34:34] and I just like the switches better.

[00:34:36] So the other thing was kind of like

[00:34:38] the one that I had was tactile.

[00:34:40] It was really tactile, you know

[00:34:42] and clicky which I don't love,

[00:34:44] but this one is nice and smooth and linear.

[00:34:47] So that's why I replaced it.

[00:34:49] But yeah.

[00:34:50] Nice.

[00:34:51] Yeah, those are cool.

[00:34:53] I have something similar,

[00:34:55] but it's literally half a keyboard

[00:34:57] and it's got some macro keys

[00:35:01] so I can do certain like

[00:35:03] certain commands in let's say an RTS

[00:35:08] like Age of Empires 2.

[00:35:10] I would press a button and it would like go home

[00:35:13] and make a few villagers

[00:35:16] and then you know research stuff

[00:35:19] and I would just hit the one button and it would do it.

[00:35:21] Are you cheating?

[00:35:22] Are you mad?

[00:35:23] Are you saving my carpal tunnel?

[00:35:24] Is that cheating?

[00:35:25] No, because someone could do that as quick.

[00:35:27] I just hit one button and it's some lazy, you know.

[00:35:29] Oh, okay.

[00:35:30] But it just does it like instantly.

[00:35:33] Yeah, I mean the one I had had not like

[00:35:35] all programmable buttons I could program any key

[00:35:38] to any keyboard function or even mouse function

[00:35:40] or anything like that.

[00:35:42] It's very, uh...

[00:35:43] I just sent a link of the chat

[00:35:45] to like one little half keyboard

[00:35:47] that has like a little tiny thumb stick on it.

[00:35:49] That's kind of cool.

[00:35:50] Oh yeah.

[00:35:51] Oh yeah!

[00:35:52] It's similar.

[00:35:53] Oh yeah.

[00:35:54] Kind of like that.

[00:35:55] That would be weird to use though.

[00:35:56] That's very flat.

[00:35:58] What would you use that with your pinky?

[00:36:00] Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

[00:36:02] Your pinky would be massive.

[00:36:03] You could just like...

[00:36:04] That's my pinky joystick.

[00:36:05] You could maybe angle your thumb in there.

[00:36:07] Maybe if you have like long thumbs.

[00:36:09] Oh my god.

[00:36:10] Wait, why is it all button upside down?

[00:36:12] I was wondering if he turns that around.

[00:36:14] Oh, that makes sense.

[00:36:16] Yeah, if you turn it around and yeah.

[00:36:19] Yeah, because some of those buttons are upside down.

[00:36:22] Weird.

[00:36:23] That is weird.

[00:36:24] Very weird.

[00:36:25] Oh, what the hell is that?

[00:36:27] Game board.

[00:36:28] Ergo mech keyboards.

[00:36:32] Game board.

[00:36:33] Here's a...

[00:36:36] He's another good accessory for you guys.

[00:36:38] Remember the game shark in action replaying all those?

[00:36:41] Yeah, game shark.

[00:36:43] Game genie.

[00:36:44] Oh, game genie.

[00:36:45] Yeah, I'm going to look at it.

[00:36:46] We did that.

[00:36:47] Game shark was a little bit later.

[00:36:48] Yeah, game genie was earlier.

[00:36:50] But yeah, game shark was sick.

[00:36:52] But it was the same kind of thing.

[00:36:54] It just changed.

[00:36:56] Fine.

[00:36:57] Fine ring numbers during boot up.

[00:36:59] Changed hex code in the game and the memory and change stuff.

[00:37:03] Like give you an infinite amount of stuff or a lot more.

[00:37:06] Yeah, that was so fucking cool.

[00:37:09] Yeah.

[00:37:10] I love doing that because like if you could...

[00:37:13] You play around with the hex a little bit and you can find things.

[00:37:16] Like you find other things that it does.

[00:37:19] Like that was so cool.

[00:37:21] Like where would we get that those things?

[00:37:23] Where would we get the idea to change things?

[00:37:25] Get like the codes online.

[00:37:27] You could do it online.

[00:37:29] Get online.

[00:37:30] Yeah.

[00:37:31] I don't think we were searching for browse in the internet at that time.

[00:37:33] Where are we?

[00:37:35] Well, there was built-in ones as well.

[00:37:37] But yeah, we were in the internet.

[00:37:39] Oh, yes.

[00:37:40] We had the internet on that little shitty computer.

[00:37:42] You said about the one at your dad's shop.

[00:37:44] Did you play the skinny card?

[00:37:45] Oh, yes.

[00:37:46] It was similar.

[00:37:47] No, it was better than that one actually.

[00:37:49] It was still not very good.

[00:37:51] It was better.

[00:37:52] It was better.

[00:37:53] It was the 100 megahertz is 46.

[00:37:55] And a turbo button.

[00:37:56] How did turbo button?

[00:37:57] It was turbo button.

[00:37:58] The one at my dad's shop was 30 more megahertz.

[00:38:01] The one at the dad's shop was like a 386, man.

[00:38:04] It was fucking horrible.

[00:38:06] But it's a place of skinny cards.

[00:38:08] That's true.

[00:38:09] The demo or whatever the fuck?

[00:38:11] Yes, the demo.

[00:38:13] Yes, that's the three tracks.

[00:38:14] But man, we actually had a we had a game shark.

[00:38:19] It was like a ripoff of game.

[00:38:21] It wasn't official game shark, but it was a mod chip.

[00:38:23] And it plugged in the back of the PS1 where the game shark would plug into.

[00:38:28] But it was a mod chip at the same time which was sick.

[00:38:31] That was amazing.

[00:38:33] And you had to have the was that the one we had to have the lid open all the time?

[00:38:38] Well, the disk spun and we had to like, oh yes,

[00:38:42] we had to press a button.

[00:38:44] What do we have to do?

[00:38:45] We have to jam something in the.

[00:38:47] No, it was just came with a spring.

[00:38:48] It came with a spring.

[00:38:49] Oh, that's right.

[00:38:50] It came with a little spring.

[00:38:51] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:38:52] That you put under top of the lid.

[00:38:53] You know the PS1 lid that flips up.

[00:38:55] There's a there's a little button when you close the lid it presses.

[00:38:58] The button has a little peg that just pushes the button so the PlayStation knows

[00:39:02] that the lid is closed.

[00:39:03] So start spinning this.

[00:39:04] Yes, so it starts spinning the disk.

[00:39:06] So what you do is there's a little spring that you put on the peg.

[00:39:10] And even when it's open, it's still pressing the button close.

[00:39:13] So the PlayStation thinks that the lid is still closed.

[00:39:16] That was only like pirate protection.

[00:39:19] And you had to put in a disk first and then let it start spinning

[00:39:23] and then swap it with your pirated disk or something.

[00:39:25] Yeah, exactly.

[00:39:26] So you'd spin you'd spin up a real disk or a boot disk.

[00:39:30] Yes, yeah.

[00:39:31] And then you'd open the lid.

[00:39:32] The PlayStation would think that the game the lid is still closed.

[00:39:37] And it would just boot from the shark, from the game shark or from the mod chip.

[00:39:41] And that would cause it to stop the disk so you could literally just pull it out,

[00:39:44] put in your burn disk or your backup.

[00:39:47] And then you close the lid and you start click start on the menu and it would start the game up.

[00:39:52] It's very cool.

[00:39:53] Very cool.

[00:39:54] This man.

[00:39:55] I used the action replay all the time for Game Boy Advance.

[00:40:01] Is that the same thing?

[00:40:02] Like cheats and stuff?

[00:40:03] Yeah, yeah.

[00:40:04] Yeah, it's basically just like a game shark for Game Boy Advance and shit.

[00:40:09] I don't know if they had action replay for home consoles.

[00:40:14] So I think they used Game Shark for home consoles.

[00:40:17] Oh, same kind of thing.

[00:40:19] Action replay was like you pop that into your cartridge slot.

[00:40:22] You pop a cartridge into the slot in the front of the action replay cartridge.

[00:40:26] And then yeah, there was like a switch on top.

[00:40:30] You turn on and when you boot up your game boy, you'll go right to the action replay menu.

[00:40:35] And you can pick different codes and shit in my buddies and I would do it in Pokemon.

[00:40:40] We were just there were a lot of a lot of Pokemon that you couldn't get an Emerald that you could just be like,

[00:40:45] Oh, I want this and this and this and I want unlimited master balls and all the master balls.

[00:40:51] Yeah, definitely.

[00:40:53] That was so cool.

[00:40:55] Wait, it could give you Pokemon that weren't in the game.

[00:40:58] What? How the hell did it do that?

[00:41:01] It's not in the game's code.

[00:41:03] How does it give it to you?

[00:41:05] I don't know, man.

[00:41:06] Well, no, I guess so there were, I guess let me, there were, there were Pokemon that they would give away at events in like New York and like Japan.

[00:41:16] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I guess I don't know gift Pokemon.

[00:41:19] Yeah, I don't know how the fuck that works.

[00:41:23] Interesting.

[00:41:24] Yeah, they were in the game, but like you couldn't get a yeah, just unlock them with this thing.

[00:41:32] That makes sense and probably Pokemon from the other color.

[00:41:37] You know, that wouldn't get it would just you could get those obviously because they're in the games actual code hackers and code crackers.

[00:41:45] Yeah, you could just you could make it from the start.

[00:41:49] You could you turn on like the national decks so you catch like any Pokemon at any time.

[00:41:54] Right.

[00:41:55] Yeah, that was pretty cool.

[00:41:56] Oh, wow, nice fucking cheaters little cheating peels every play through fucking Pokemon like 80 times in a row.

[00:42:04] Yeah, kind of starting a board and you want to pass cheat code after yeah, yeah, sure.

[00:42:09] But like back then I would, we would be doing it on games that we've never played before too.

[00:42:13] It's like, oh, yeah, yeah, like just like trying it out.

[00:42:17] It's like, you know, it's like, I'm going to go answer for this game.

[00:42:20] Like I remember grand charisma.

[00:42:23] Grinter is vote.

[00:42:25] I would win the race just like crossing the line at the very start like at the grid because you start the yeah, and then race would be over and I'm like, yeah, first place.

[00:42:34] And you just get the credits.

[00:42:37] Like at the grid lineup behind the start line, you just cross it and you win.

[00:42:43] Did you have to yeah, it was so dumb.

[00:42:46] I'm fucking racing this 200 lap race.

[00:42:48] Are you kidding me?

[00:42:49] Fuck that.

[00:42:50] Yeah, fuck that.

[00:42:51] I just want the hundred thousand credits.

[00:42:54] What do you got?

[00:42:55] What do I got here?

[00:42:56] I got the pocket sonar for the Game Boy ever hear this one.

[00:43:01] Oh yes.

[00:43:02] Pocket sonar.

[00:43:03] What the fuck?

[00:43:04] No.

[00:43:05] It's an accessory compatible with Nintendo's classic Game Boy provided better portable sonar than many early versions like what?

[00:43:12] Like rock.

[00:43:13] Like fish catchers or fish.

[00:43:15] You put the game or the accessory like you plug it into it as in the cartridge and then it comes with like a bobber that you toss in the water and it's actually sonar.

[00:43:25] And it shows the fucking fish it sees in the water on your Game Boy screen.

[00:43:30] What the fuck?

[00:43:32] Yeah, man.

[00:43:33] It also comes with a full like a built in fishing in cyclopedia though it was all in Japanese and it came with like a fishing game that you would like.

[00:43:45] I don't use the sonar Bobber and then like catch the fish on your screen instead of actually fishing.

[00:43:51] You're looking at these fish on your Game Boy.

[00:43:54] Your dad takes you out fishing.

[00:43:55] All right, boy, I'll teach you how to fish.

[00:43:57] And you're like, it's all the Bobber out.

[00:43:59] Like dad, I can just see all the fish.

[00:44:01] You want me to tell you where to fish?

[00:44:02] Shut up boy.

[00:44:03] Yeah, no, it's just to keep the kids busy.

[00:44:07] Wow, that's insane.

[00:44:09] An actual working sonar for your Game Boy.

[00:44:13] That's cool.

[00:44:14] Very cool.

[00:44:15] The Guinness book of World Records recognized it as the first sonar enabled peripheral for a gaming console.

[00:44:22] I imagine the first and only.

[00:44:25] So I think you could connect that thing to your Game Boy while you had the booster boy on so you have this fucking Frankenstein.

[00:44:38] Yeah, you just toss it out into the water and you can see it from there.

[00:44:41] The water wouldn't get in a booster boy.

[00:44:43] Do you know what I mean?

[00:44:44] It's nighttime who gives a fuck because it's got lights on it and it plays music.

[00:44:48] You could just jump on with your steroids sound.

[00:44:50] You could use the boosters as a ground sound.

[00:44:53] Yeah, you use it as a raft while you look at the judge.

[00:44:57] You've got a link cable.

[00:44:59] You got a link cable dangling out from the link cable connector.

[00:45:02] Why not?

[00:45:03] Like you're ready for anything.

[00:45:04] You can prepare it.

[00:45:05] That's so fucking cool.

[00:45:06] And in the lights and the sound.

[00:45:08] So yeah, fish all night.

[00:45:10] Holy shit.

[00:45:11] Yeah, that is insane when I read that.

[00:45:14] I can't believe that shit.

[00:45:16] Game Boy is so hard dude.

[00:45:18] Why the fuck?

[00:45:19] There's a lot of things.

[00:45:22] I wonder if you can use it to like.

[00:45:25] Uh, shit.

[00:45:26] I don't know.

[00:45:27] To locate that sub that the wall office lost in the sea.

[00:45:31] The red October we need to find that Titanic.

[00:45:35] Yeah, there are a lot of guys out there with this game boy and it's so good.

[00:45:39] Are you more double-aise boys?

[00:45:42] It's a Sean Connery.

[00:45:44] Are you more double-aise?

[00:45:46] You're more double-aise.

[00:45:49] Yeah, I got one here.

[00:45:51] So yeah, it's Holy fuck.

[00:45:53] The petty sedate.

[00:45:55] What?

[00:45:56] The petty sedate system was an add-on for the Game Boy.

[00:46:00] Whoa!

[00:46:01] Oh my god.

[00:46:03] To call children before potentially traumatic experiences like the dentist or hospital operation.

[00:46:10] Fuck.

[00:46:11] Gave them a little dose of a noss.

[00:46:14] Nitrous oxide.

[00:46:15] Through this thing?

[00:46:16] Yeah.

[00:46:17] That was the purpose.

[00:46:18] That was the aim.

[00:46:19] The aim anyways.

[00:46:20] Look at this.

[00:46:21] Look at this.

[00:46:22] What?

[00:46:23] It looks like a Darth Vader man.

[00:46:24] It looks like a snorkel that goes on their nose.

[00:46:27] Yeah.

[00:46:28] Oh my god.

[00:46:29] So you could have this sonar in the dumb fucking sewing machine all on your booster boy.

[00:46:34] Dude, it's the ultimate machine.

[00:46:36] It gets you high.

[00:46:38] It gets you high.

[00:46:39] Finds fish and that's a game.

[00:46:42] What else do you want?

[00:46:43] Move over Xbox Series X.

[00:46:45] There's a new king.

[00:46:47] There's a new king of consoles.

[00:46:49] Dude, what the fuck?

[00:46:51] Oh it's...

[00:46:52] This is super strange.

[00:46:53] It's translucent too.

[00:46:54] It's coming into like six different colors.

[00:46:56] That's cool.

[00:46:57] Yeah, gross.

[00:46:58] It goes right over the nose.

[00:47:01] Oh.

[00:47:02] The picture I'm looking at doesn't look like a kid.

[00:47:04] It looks like a woman using it.

[00:47:06] Like her hands look like it's definitely a woman's hands.

[00:47:09] Are you looking at this picture?

[00:47:10] I'm looking at Google Images.

[00:47:11] It's all kids.

[00:47:13] Oh.

[00:47:14] Babies.

[00:47:15] Really?

[00:47:16] Okay, well look at this picture.

[00:47:19] Do you see that?

[00:47:21] That's a baby.

[00:47:22] Yeah, but look at her hands.

[00:47:24] Tell me those hands of a child.

[00:47:26] Oh, that is not the one I'm talking about.

[00:47:28] Oh, these are definitely an older lady's hands too.

[00:47:30] You see, they're like photoshopped an older lady's hands on this.

[00:47:34] The kid couldn't hold a game boy.

[00:47:35] This kid.

[00:47:36] What the hell is going on?

[00:47:38] Are you fucking idiot?

[00:47:39] We'll just fix this post shoot.

[00:47:41] Just hold the game boy.

[00:47:43] Just hold the game boy.

[00:47:44] No, you're holding it wrong.

[00:47:46] You're holding it wrong.

[00:47:47] You're holding it wrong.

[00:47:48] You're holding it wrong.

[00:47:49] They could not get it to hold it properly.

[00:47:52] Does your kid not hold a game boy?

[00:47:55] No, we're too poor.

[00:47:56] We're too poor.

[00:47:58] God.

[00:47:59] Jesus.

[00:48:00] Jesus.

[00:48:01] They got to put the fucking thing on the kid roll fast because you're freaking out.

[00:48:07] Like I'm saying that.

[00:48:08] You're gonna get this thing on this kid.

[00:48:13] Oh, fuck.

[00:48:14] Oh, I've got a fuck.

[00:48:17] I can't fucking talk.

[00:48:20] Oh, I'm gonna do my next one and then we'll take an ad break.

[00:48:32] But if you guys ever heard of the game, I think it's bok tie or bot Kai.

[00:48:37] Bok tie?

[00:48:38] It had a little like solar sensor on it.

[00:48:41] So like you charged it up during the day and if I forget what happens if it's not charged

[00:48:48] up but was it bok tie the sun is in your hand.

[00:48:52] Like yeah, charges up and power.

[00:48:56] Yeah.

[00:48:57] Charges up.

[00:48:58] Yeah, it charges up your gun.

[00:49:00] And if I ran out you couldn't shoot or you shoot very, very slowly or something and it's

[00:49:08] part of the cartridge.

[00:49:12] I see.

[00:49:13] The game was produced and designed by Hideo Kojima.

[00:49:16] Of course.

[00:49:17] Yeah.

[00:49:18] And yeah, that was just wild as hell.

[00:49:21] Like Hideo just comes into the fucking room high on mescaline and he's just like so the

[00:49:26] game boy advanced by like in the sun solar panel solar game and then Shakira Miyamoto was

[00:49:33] like he fucking shot up real fast and he was like make it.

[00:49:40] Like what does the solar power do?

[00:49:43] Like what does it do?

[00:49:44] So like you're your gun in the game runs off of like a fire solar flares or whatever.

[00:49:50] And it's powered by the actual sun.

[00:49:53] Like the sun would the cartridge would sense the sun or whatever and charge up your gun.

[00:50:00] And if you tried to play at night and your gun ran out, you wouldn't be able to shoot so you

[00:50:04] would just have to wait until fucking wow.

[00:50:07] Yeah.

[00:50:08] Oh man.

[00:50:09] These guys are like in the future.

[00:50:12] Japanese people are from the future.

[00:50:14] They really are they got vending machines where you can buy whole ass meals and then like shoes

[00:50:19] and shit like I want that.

[00:50:21] I'm running late.

[00:50:22] I'm running late for work.

[00:50:23] I forgot my shoes just grab a vending machine.

[00:50:26] Better go grab a pair of Puma's in a fucking whole rotisserie chicken.

[00:50:29] And you can buy ladies underwear and that's true.

[00:50:32] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:50:33] Yeah, thanks Japan.

[00:50:35] Thanks Japan.

[00:50:38] Let's take an ad break.

[00:52:17] Even what they call high voltage which is extra strength, extra caffeine.

[00:52:21] But they have all sorts of other awesome kind of out-of-the-box flavors.

[00:52:25] They've got ones like cotton candy, maple bacon, and even mint chocolate chip ice cream.

[00:52:31] And they're always coming up with new crossover flavors like they've done a bunch for a night member before Christmas,

[00:53:30] I really hope you enjoy. I'm a really big fan of it and I hope you find one that really hooks you.

[00:53:36] Thank you so much for listening. Have a good one.

[00:53:44] It's really important to stay hydrated.

[00:53:46] They say to drink 8-10 cups of water per day to stay properly hydrated,

[00:53:50] but sometimes that can be difficult to do and completely inconvenient.

[00:53:54] And most of us don't feel like carrying a gallon of water with us at all times.

[00:53:58] The number of liquid IV comes in.

[00:54:00] Liquid IV is the category winning hydration brand.

[00:54:03] Feeling your well-being and their hydration multiplier is the one product you're missing in your daily routine.

[00:54:08] And just one stick, you get five essential vitamins and two times faster hydration than water alone.

[00:54:15] Use it first thing in the morning before a workout when you feel run down after a long night out or on long flights.

[00:54:21] Man in Iowa the summers can be brutal. 90 degrees and tons of humidity that just saps the energy and water right out of your system within just a few minutes.

[00:54:32] Luckily liquid IV hydrates two times faster than water alone with three times the electrolytes of traditional sports drinks.

[00:54:40] It's very important to replace those electrolytes you know.

[00:54:43] And I just love how quick and easy it is to use liquid IV.

[00:54:47] You just get one packet and a bottle of water and you just pour that packet into the bottle of water.

[00:54:51] Shake the heck out of it and bam, you are good to go.

[00:54:54] Since using liquid IV I felt way more alert, active and just plain better versus drinking water alone.

[00:55:01] My favorite flavors to go to are the Yuzu Pineapple Energy Multiplier and the Tropical Punch Hydration Multiplier.

[00:55:09] I can't get enough of those ones.

[00:55:11] What makes them even better is like I mentioned earlier they are packed with 5 essential vitamins like B3, B5, B6, B12 and Vitamin C.

[00:55:18] Again three times the electrolytes of traditional sports drinks and they are non-GMO and free from gluten dairy and soy which is just great.

[00:55:27] You can get 20% off when you go to liquid IV.com and use super pod saga at checkout.

[00:55:34] That's 20% off anything.

[00:55:37] I'm going to use a new shop better hydration today using promo code super pod saga.

[00:55:42] SUPER POD SAGA at liquid IV.com.

[00:55:46] You have a great one super stars.

[00:55:57] I've got a couple ideas.

[00:56:00] How big of fans are you guys of eggs?

[00:56:07] I love eggs.

[00:56:09] Big fans.

[00:56:10] They eat eggs every day.

[00:56:11] Okay, really.

[00:56:14] You'll love them even more when you...

[00:56:18] Fuck how I...

[00:56:20] You'll love them even more when you try our...

[00:56:25] Whatever brand mystery eggs they're like the eggs you know and love.

[00:56:29] And those like...

[00:56:31] Weird ass mystery eggs you see on YouTube all the time where people open up plastic eggs and find cool shell on the inside but it's actual eggs.

[00:56:38] You crack them, crack open the shell and bam there could be literally anything inside those eggs.

[00:56:42] Anything at all.

[00:56:44] You can be like a kid or surprise.

[00:56:47] Like a kid or surprise.

[00:56:48] Except for your eggs.

[00:56:49] Yeah but real eggs.

[00:56:50] Oh yes.

[00:56:51] You're going to cook an omelette.

[00:56:52] Oh so this actually like...

[00:56:54] Yoke and shit in them.

[00:56:56] Or it could be anything else I say.

[00:56:58] I mean I like the idea of like anything being covered in yoke so we'll go with that.

[00:57:04] Yeah so you go to...

[00:57:06] You go to crack open an egg to make a delicious Denver omelette we'll say.

[00:57:11] And you crack open an egg and then plop out covered in yoke comes...

[00:57:16] We'll say like a few pennies.

[00:57:18] The city of Denver.

[00:57:19] The city of Denver itself.

[00:57:21] Or you know you're gonna go make some French toast and you crack a crack open an egg and then...

[00:57:27] And then bam it's...

[00:57:29] Some band-aids.

[00:57:31] Yeah just some loose band-aids.

[00:57:33] No looting band-aids.

[00:57:35] You're the band-aids.

[00:57:37] The random used band-aids.

[00:57:39] Yeah dude there's just a fucking looting's cough drop.

[00:57:42] A fucking DVD of Coraline.

[00:57:47] Whatever the fuck you want.

[00:57:48] Or I guess not whatever the fuck you want because they're mystery eggs.

[00:57:51] It's just whatever happens to be in there so you crack one open and then there's like some pine needles.

[00:57:55] Yum.

[00:57:57] The pinex.

[00:57:59] The pinex exactly.

[00:58:01] You sift through the yoke like you just kind of toss it between your hands and try to get the yoke out and you're like oh yes I love pine needles.

[00:58:09] Fuck what's uh...

[00:58:13] Nate what's um...

[00:58:14] What's been your best experience with these mystery eggs?

[00:58:17] Well every morning I wake up I go down to my kitchen, I pick them out of the fridge

[00:58:23] and I just don't know what surprise I'm gonna get in my eggs in the morning.

[00:58:27] Crack them open.

[00:58:29] Could be an egg or it could be...

[00:58:33] I turned.

[00:58:35] But whatever I crack out of that egg is going right on my toast and right in my guts.

[00:58:40] Like an egg gigabyte thumb drive.

[00:58:42] Yes.

[00:58:43] Or a thumbtack.

[00:58:45] Right in this butt.

[00:58:47] What about you John?

[00:58:50] Are you a satisfied mystery eggs customer?

[00:58:53] Um I was until the mystery just ended one day and every single egg that I opened had a severed thumb inside.

[00:59:05] I just don't know, I just can't deal with that every time I crack out.

[00:59:11] I ended up being your thumbs and then you ended up with no thumbs after you cracked some eggs.

[00:59:17] They cut my thumbs off on the hardsh the sharp shells.

[00:59:21] You know what John?

[00:59:23] No, we'll get in contact with the mystery eggs company and we'll get that settled.

[00:59:28] We'll settle that out of court please do.

[00:59:31] Yeah, uh listeners forget about that part.

[00:59:36] Trying to give another good one.

[00:59:39] Hey fuck, if you if you order some mystery eggs now a whole case, whole 12 case of a mystery eggs right now we'll send a free gift.

[00:59:48] A free gift the mystery eggs scrambler.

[00:59:52] You just crack some eggs into it and it's like...

[00:59:57] Like one of those like a salad spinner kind of thing accepted like spins your eggs and scrambles them.

[01:00:04] Yeah, but of course whatever's inside the mystery egg also gets kind of fucked up so if there's like a little wax like scented animal.

[01:00:13] There's laying these mystery eggs.

[01:00:15] Is this the straight chicken or fantastic question?

[01:00:19] The uh we'll say Vandenberg Farms eggs they have specialty genetically enhanced chickens.

[01:00:31] So they lay these eggs they give they are chickens.

[01:00:34] Yeah, they are chickens genetically altered heavily heavily.

[01:00:38] Evily false.

[01:00:40] Still chickens though yeah.

[01:00:44] In a genetic sense in a genetic sense they're not chickens but on the outside they are they are chickens yes.

[01:00:51] Oh okay just not inside.

[01:00:53] But hey that mystery inside exactly holy shit.

[01:00:57] Circle, false.

[01:01:00] Yeah the scrambler though yeah whatever whatever's in the eggs also gets scrambled so I mean you might get a veggie omelette with like a little bit of like maybe some wax or like a little patch of carpet in there who cares.

[01:01:14] Eggs protein quickies you protein.

[01:01:18] Shit any any anything else you guys want to toss in for Vandenberg eggs before we sometimes the mystery is it's not.

[01:01:26] Protein inside its carbs they just give you some some full of sugar an egg full of sugar.

[01:01:32] Oh okay.

[01:01:33] Okay I had that one time but never again just the thumbs after that.

[01:01:38] Maybe one good egg and then rest sometimes they have like a whole.

[01:01:46] Oops all thumbs.

[01:01:49] Sometimes they have a gummy vitamin in there so you're getting protein and you're your whole your old days vitamins.

[01:01:57] Or sometimes it's sometimes it's ink sometimes you might get some ink it's just a blob of ink squid eggs.

[01:02:07] Holy shit.

[01:02:08] You can also hard boil these eggs you can poach them you can.

[01:02:15] What the fuck else did you with eggs?

[01:02:17] Die em I guess you could die em.

[01:02:20] Die eggs?

[01:02:22] Yeah like for Easter oh like paint them yeah.

[01:02:26] Oh yes.

[01:02:27] Oh dip die.

[01:02:29] Yeah dip die.

[01:02:31] I don't I can't think of anything else to do with eggs besides like eat them in like hard boil and shit.

[01:02:36] You can throw my people's houses too.

[01:02:38] There you go yeah you might one might have like a fucking lit cherry bomb and I'd or some napalm.

[01:02:43] Oh grenade.

[01:02:44] You fucking live grenade.

[01:02:47] Oh my god.

[01:02:50] Oh shit.

[01:02:52] And if you're if you're the type of person that's into egg nog sometimes they have a whole cob of like cinnamon or something in there.

[01:02:58] Well cinnamon and nutmeg you might choke because it's just like the hot pot.

[01:03:03] It sounds like too much RNG for me.

[01:03:08] Too much RNG.

[01:03:10] Oh boy hey thanks Vandenberg.

[01:03:12] Vandenberg eggs for sponsoring this episode and my apparent fucking speech problems whatever.

[01:03:28] Maybe she's fine with it.

[01:03:38] Maybe it's.

[01:03:43] Maybe it's.

[01:03:48] We're back.

[01:03:50] Nate right?

[01:03:52] Yes.

[01:03:53] That is his name.

[01:03:55] Nice to meet you.

[01:03:58] I have one more maybe that again.

[01:04:00] I got one more here.

[01:04:02] Maybe a couple more.

[01:04:03] Well I'm going to go back into the fishing trips boys.

[01:04:06] The Sega Dreamcast fishing rod.

[01:04:09] What?

[01:04:10] Oh my god yes.

[01:04:12] I'm just now there is surprisingly a lot built into this piece of technology that generally enhances the handful of fishing titles that are available for the Dreamcast.

[01:04:22] Additionally audiences later discovered that this peripheral allows for rudimentary motion control gameplay in none.

[01:04:29] Fishing games like soul caliber and virtual.

[01:04:33] That's the five.

[01:04:35] So Calvert with the fishing rod.

[01:04:37] It's pretty big though.

[01:04:39] That is pretty cool.

[01:04:42] Reminds me of the the Dreamcast microphone that you could use for like seaman and shit kind of kind of does.

[01:04:52] I've never like do you go to do go to the arcade and play the fishing games at the arcade.

[01:04:57] Never.

[01:04:58] Yeah have you ever played a fishing game?

[01:05:01] I've played a fishing game before.

[01:05:03] I don't think I ever have.

[01:05:05] I find it hard to believe how many.

[01:05:08] Yeah fishing peripherals.

[01:05:11] Exactly.

[01:05:12] That's what I was getting to.

[01:05:14] Like there's so many fishing peripherals.

[01:05:16] Like is that is that a very large thing in the States?

[01:05:21] I guess those other states that to fish.

[01:05:24] You're just fishing all day.

[01:05:26] I mean, I'm not but I'm sure other people say so.

[01:05:32] I mean, I'm sure that's the most important thing to do.

[01:05:35] And not that they keep making fishing games and like on the side of the controller.

[01:05:39] It's like an actual like you just keep.

[01:05:42] You wind it wind it wind it.

[01:05:45] Bring those fish in.

[01:05:47] But I don't think I'd ever like have wanted to either play a fishing game.

[01:05:52] Or then get an accessory to play more of that fishing game.

[01:05:56] Yeah, I feel that.

[01:05:59] I'm not that I'm like digging down this rabbit hole.

[01:06:02] It had quite a few.

[01:06:05] I'm a severe accessories, but there's one that's called it's the just like a karaoke add on where you basically just slap your dream cast on top of it.

[01:06:15] And yeah, you can connect a microphone to it.

[01:06:17] Dreamcast also think a little webcam.

[01:06:21] I had a keyboard.

[01:06:23] Oh yeah, microphone.

[01:06:25] Yeah.

[01:06:26] What the hell?

[01:06:28] Gamecast.

[01:06:30] Accessories.

[01:06:31] Gamecast.

[01:06:33] Oh nice.

[01:06:34] It had a steering wheel and pedal set back in the day.

[01:06:37] That's a man drink has was sick.

[01:06:39] I had one for a little bit.

[01:06:41] That's pretty sweet.

[01:06:42] Mouse.

[01:06:43] Oh, we can't talk about accessories.

[01:06:45] Access that fuck oh my god dude.

[01:06:48] We can't talk about accessories without talking about the VM you because that thing was fucking cool too.

[01:06:53] Memory card like the.

[01:06:55] Memory card.

[01:06:56] Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, those were so fucking cool was awesome.

[01:06:59] Yeah, you could play like little mini games on the screen of the controller.

[01:07:03] And it had control it had controls on it or something didn't it?

[01:07:06] Yeah, it had like a little D pad and a and B and shit.

[01:07:10] Yeah, that is.

[01:07:11] And if you're playing.

[01:07:14] If you're playing like I forget which resident evil games at what which resident evil games had this but if you're playing.

[01:07:21] It would have you know how in like resident evil games your health bar was like the heart beat pattern thing.

[01:07:28] Yeah, yeah, yeah, the the VME would also have that on its little screen so it'd be like where did this plug is?

[01:07:33] Oh, I do remember to have like it would have right health or the top of the controller.

[01:07:37] Where did that memory recall that?

[01:07:39] Did it slide into the controller into that little square which yeah, yeah, well not into the square but there was like a.

[01:07:47] There's like a slot on the top of the controller and you had a little square as where you would see the screen of the VME.

[01:07:52] So yeah, resident evil you'd see like the little heartbeat pattern so you'd like see your your health on the controller.

[01:07:59] Yeah, Sonic adventure.

[01:08:02] No, the VME screen was called I don't think so fake fucking pick.

[01:08:06] Oh my god, I just saw a second Sega Saturn controller.

[01:08:10] That's not that.

[01:08:12] That's not the Sega Saturn controller.

[01:08:15] What the hell is this?

[01:08:17] What does it look like?

[01:08:18] Simulink.

[01:08:19] It's like this massive giant circle.

[01:08:22] Well, the Saturn 3D controller is that what that is?

[01:08:25] Yeah, dude.

[01:08:26] This thing is so dumb looking.

[01:08:30] Yeah, it's a big old pancake bro.

[01:08:32] Yeah, just like a pancake Mickey Mouse ear.

[01:08:35] Like how horrible with that feel in your freaking hands.

[01:08:40] That's got to be horror.

[01:08:42] It looks like it looks like a discman.

[01:08:46] Sega Saturn, I never played we never played the Sega Saturn.

[01:08:49] Man, I wanted a Sega Saturn so bad.

[01:08:51] Why?

[01:08:52] I don't know why.

[01:08:53] There was something for it that we really wanted.

[01:08:55] Yeah, there was like Dragon Ball Z games.

[01:08:57] Yeah, that's what Japanese games.

[01:08:59] The Japanese ones and there is a game called like.

[01:09:03] I forget what they're big.

[01:09:05] The big game where.

[01:09:06] The night's was really fucking cool.

[01:09:09] Yeah, I just wanted one and then we never ended up getting one.

[01:09:13] Got a PlayStation instead.

[01:09:15] And the MU?

[01:09:16] Sit.

[01:09:17] On a Dreamcast.

[01:09:19] They're on my Dreamcast back.

[01:09:21] Where did I fucking sold it?

[01:09:23] Some fucking kid.

[01:09:26] Some punk kid.

[01:09:28] Some punk ass.

[01:09:29] Some little bitch on the street.

[01:09:32] Little yukes.

[01:09:33] You could look like you can buy a Dreamcast on eBay with like a game and stuff.

[01:09:40] For like roughly about 80 bucks in pretty good condition.

[01:09:43] What?

[01:09:44] Yeah, really pretty good.

[01:09:46] That's really good.

[01:09:47] Get the floppy disk drive with it or the hard drive whatever it was.

[01:09:51] Floppy disk drive.

[01:09:52] Yeah, there's like a floppy disk drive.

[01:09:54] You're fucking kidding me.

[01:09:56] What?

[01:09:57] What I'm looking at here.

[01:09:58] I don't know what the hell it is.

[01:10:00] You see this thing?

[01:10:03] Copy image.

[01:10:04] 100 and some bucks.

[01:10:06] Please give me that image link.

[01:10:08] This.

[01:10:09] Oh, fucks like this computer.

[01:10:11] Just keyboard.

[01:10:12] Oh, you know what?

[01:10:14] I just pulled it up.

[01:10:15] What the fuck?

[01:10:16] It's a floppy disk drive.

[01:10:18] What the fuck?

[01:10:19] I don't know.

[01:10:20] Oh, it was a canceled accessory.

[01:10:23] The zip drive.

[01:10:25] Man, you remember zip drives?

[01:10:27] I had 100 megabyte.

[01:10:29] Yeah, they're so fast.

[01:10:32] They're so fast.

[01:10:34] Oh man, technology was sweet back in the day.

[01:10:37] You young whipper snappers.

[01:10:39] Yeah, the whipper snappers don't know.

[01:10:41] Don't understand.

[01:10:42] We have to use floppy drives.

[01:10:44] If we wanted more than 1.4 megabytes,

[01:10:47] we had to get another disk.

[01:10:52] Man, that's crazy.

[01:10:53] I put, I had so many walkthroughs on floppy disks, man.

[01:10:56] Oh, yeah, we did that too.

[01:10:58] Yeah, we did that too.

[01:10:59] We like build them in HTML.

[01:11:01] Yeah.

[01:11:02] Like our guide, our gate,

[01:11:03] we make our own game guides.

[01:11:05] I remember making one for Harvest Moon.

[01:11:07] HTML.

[01:11:08] Yeah.

[01:11:09] HTML website and we put it on the floppy disk.

[01:11:11] We just saved the,

[01:11:12] they saved the web page as and like put it on the floppy disk.

[01:11:15] Yeah, and then we go all the way.

[01:11:16] That's right.

[01:11:17] Yeah.

[01:11:18] Change pictures and stuff.

[01:11:19] Yeah.

[01:11:20] What's up?

[01:11:21] Man, what's up?

[01:11:22] What's up?

[01:11:23] What's up?

[01:11:24] We actually have more than one box for that next one.

[01:11:27] For me, my next one,

[01:11:28] I have our things that I use on all of my controllers.

[01:11:33] Oh!

[01:11:34] All of my controllers have a control freak joystick grips

[01:11:39] or extenders.

[01:11:41] So any, my controllers that don't have like replaceable,

[01:11:45] like, like Joysticks that you can make put on a longer one,

[01:11:48] like the Xbox Elite and not anything.

[01:11:50] I put these little extenders.

[01:11:53] they clip on to the joystick and make it a little bit longer.

[01:11:58] And these are good for shooter games and for a little more fine precision aiming.

[01:12:04] I've got that for my Xbox Elite Control.

[01:12:10] Look at this link. Look at the pictures.

[01:12:16] Yeah, that's it.

[01:12:16] Yeah.

[01:12:20] Those are like literal joysticks.

[01:12:25] Imagine your thumbs were that long you needed those listeners, the photo

[01:12:31] that I sent to him is a PS4 controller with with with like a Tari joysticks.

[01:12:38] Yeah, Tari joysticks on each pocket.

[01:12:41] Yeah, stick.

[01:12:45] If you show up to my house about the play games with that, I'd toss you out.

[01:12:50] Holy fuck, you gotta have like one hand on each stick when you press the buttons with your

[01:12:54] fucking feet or something.

[01:12:59] That's like 3D printed looks like if it's not full of stuff but yeah,

[01:13:03] yeah, 3D print yourself some of those, you know, you're ready to go.

[01:13:06] You can play Frogger.

[01:13:07] Yeah, I'm just a missile command.

[01:13:10] Whatever that was.

[01:13:11] You didn't play it with a dart.

[01:13:13] Oh shit, man.

[01:13:15] Another fucking, there were a couple other ones I had John it down here

[01:13:19] to kind of like pat us out toward the end.

[01:13:21] You remember those like those like

[01:13:26] fucking explain it back in the day like the early 2000s you could buy a mouse

[01:13:31] but like it had that ball on the top that you could use to control.

[01:13:35] Oh yeah, yeah.

[01:13:37] Yeah, I got that big glass ball that you just like spin around.

[01:13:41] Yeah, yeah, and you could use that for games.

[01:13:43] It was just like sort of an ergonomic mice.

[01:13:45] I think that's all it was really.

[01:13:47] We had a few people at work who had those.

[01:13:49] I'm like what the hell is this?

[01:13:50] Yeah, you fucking.

[01:13:51] Probably cost $200.

[01:13:55] Those are so fucking wild.

[01:13:57] And then there are you can buy a mouse that has like a fucking scorpion inside of it.

[01:14:02] That's pretty fucking cool.

[01:14:04] Like a real scorpion.

[01:14:05] Yeah, let me find it real fast.

[01:14:08] Oh like a dead one.

[01:14:10] Yeah, it's like a case and like

[01:14:13] buddy's bowling ball on

[01:14:16] kingpin.

[01:14:17] Yeah, oh, it's acrylic.

[01:14:19] There you go. Look in the look at looking at chat.

[01:14:23] You know what? Here's a whole here's a whole Google search.

[01:14:26] Copy that little fucking big thing.

[01:14:27] There you go.

[01:14:28] Wow, who's actually discussed.

[01:14:30] I would be joking.

[01:14:32] Look at that mouse.

[01:14:34] Probably so heavy.

[01:14:35] It's like an acrylic.

[01:14:36] Yeah, I'm just so fucking.

[01:14:37] Maybe it's not moving.

[01:14:38] acrylic block.

[01:14:40] That's so fucking.

[01:14:43] Well that's a set of p did it dude.

[01:14:45] Where the fuck?

[01:14:46] Where's the right click?

[01:14:47] I guess that's probably an apple mouse because the whole the whole

[01:14:50] fucking mouse is one click.

[01:14:51] The whole click.

[01:14:53] Stupid.

[01:14:53] That's disgusting.

[01:14:55] I would not want my hand on that.

[01:14:58] You don't touch that.

[01:15:00] No way.

[01:15:01] Damn.

[01:15:02] 77 dollars Canadian.

[01:15:04] That's holy shit.

[01:15:06] That's cheap for you guys.

[01:15:08] I don't know what the conversion is.

[01:15:09] It's just a 77 Canadian.

[01:15:11] I would not spend that on that.

[01:15:16] This one lights up.

[01:15:19] Oh my god.

[01:15:20] I also got a, yeah, I googled mouse with scorpion inside

[01:15:22] and I just got a bunch of pictures of like mice eating scorpions.

[01:15:26] Yeah, I got that too.

[01:15:27] Like the old mice eating scorpions.

[01:15:30] Look at the link.

[01:15:31] I just put it there too.

[01:15:32] This one fucking lights up dude.

[01:15:35] Just a little bit.

[01:15:35] It's so gross.

[01:15:37] That is the grossest thing I've ever seen.

[01:15:39] That's so cool.

[01:15:40] It's more easier got actually.

[01:15:41] It actually looks like Marvelous scorpion.

[01:15:43] Is this like the prototype razor mouse?

[01:15:47] It's a razor's.

[01:15:48] Is razor's logo a scorpion?

[01:15:50] Something like that.

[01:15:51] I thought Jesus Christ.

[01:15:53] Early razor.

[01:15:55] Do you guys remember the Sega game gear?

[01:15:58] Oh yeah.

[01:15:59] They had a little,

[01:16:01] they had a little like a TV tuner.

[01:16:03] You could pop into the top

[01:16:05] and have like a little antenna on top of it.

[01:16:07] Yeah you could watch TV.

[01:16:08] And watch TV on your game gear.

[01:16:10] Yeah.

[01:16:13] Could you like change?

[01:16:13] I guess you could change the channels with the buttons.

[01:16:16] Yeah there's a little like a tuner thing

[01:16:18] on the on the top of it for you to like change channels and shit.

[01:16:20] Oh it was on the thing and not the controller.

[01:16:23] Yeah it was on like the actual

[01:16:25] hard-trigger thing.

[01:16:26] Tuner thing.

[01:16:26] Let me send you a link right there.

[01:16:30] Oh my god.

[01:16:32] Same with very high frequency.

[01:16:35] There was also,

[01:16:36] you could probably pick up HD over the air now at that thing.

[01:16:39] There was also maybe um

[01:16:43] what's it called?

[01:16:43] The Turbo Express.

[01:16:45] It was like a handheld version of the Turbo Graphics 16

[01:16:48] and that one you could also get.

[01:16:50] I don't know maybe that was.

[01:16:52] I forget if that one was like a radio tuner

[01:16:54] or if it was a TV tuner.

[01:16:55] It sounds like a Game Boy.

[01:16:57] Yeah.

[01:16:58] Turbo Express.

[01:16:59] Oh that's nice.

[01:17:01] Turbo FX.

[01:17:02] Turbo Express.

[01:17:04] Turbo Express.

[01:17:06] Yeah that one also had a TV tuner.

[01:17:08] Yeah that one just pops onto the right side though.

[01:17:12] And you see Holt-Molectronics.

[01:17:16] That's pretty good.

[01:17:16] Yeah man.

[01:17:18] Oh yeah there it is.

[01:17:20] TV tuners are freaking sweet back in the day.

[01:17:22] I love doing that stuff like capturing video

[01:17:24] with a TV tuner.

[01:17:26] I used to have a video card that did that back in the day

[01:17:29] like in high school.

[01:17:30] I like saved up all my money

[01:17:32] about this graphics card

[01:17:33] that had a TV tuner on it.

[01:17:36] That's captured.

[01:17:37] I could watch TV on my computer

[01:17:39] and like record it.

[01:17:41] Wow or I could watch TV on the fucking TV.

[01:17:44] But I could play our like VHS movies

[01:17:47] that we made capture it onto the computer which was cool

[01:17:50] and I edited everything on the TV or on the computer.

[01:17:54] I found this video of a dude

[01:17:56] who added a smart TV mod to his game here

[01:17:59] so he's like watching his Roku

[01:18:01] on his fucking games here.

[01:18:03] Yeah it was too big.

[01:18:05] On his three inch like 240

[01:18:08] for 240p screen.

[01:18:10] And it's like 16 colors.

[01:18:12] Yeah.

[01:18:12] For whatever the fuck it is.

[01:18:13] I think I got 256 colors man.

[01:18:15] On a game gear?

[01:18:16] Yeah game gear was sick.

[01:18:18] Game gear was like a like a snack man

[01:18:20] game gear was like a super Nintendo graphics.

[01:18:23] 32 colors.

[01:18:24] Oh really?

[01:18:25] Yeah.

[01:18:26] That was better than that.

[01:18:27] 12 bit RGB palette.

[01:18:30] Oh I think

[01:18:31] I think you might be thinking of the second no mad

[01:18:34] that one's basically just like a handheld genesis

[01:18:37] maybe.

[01:18:38] Oh here.

[01:18:39] Game gear.

[01:18:40] The game gear had 12 bit RGB palette

[01:18:43] which had access to 4906 colors.

[01:18:47] Okay.

[01:18:47] 4906 colors.

[01:18:49] 4907.

[01:18:50] But you could only have 32 colors on screen at once.

[01:18:53] Oh wow the super Nintendo was much more.

[01:18:55] I didn't know.

[01:18:56] I thought it was like the same as super Nintendo

[01:18:58] but super Nintendo is actually had 15 bit RGB palette

[01:19:00] which had 32,000 colors.

[01:19:04] Oh no.

[01:19:05] Oh but only 256 simultaneous colors.

[01:19:08] Yes.

[01:19:08] Okay so the super Nintendo only had 256.

[01:19:11] Yeah and the game gear had 32.

[01:19:13] Oh wow.

[01:19:15] The more you know.

[01:19:16] And the NES had.

[01:19:18] Oh god.

[01:19:20] 4.

[01:19:21] 4.

[01:19:23] NES color palette.

[01:19:28] 6 bit palette.

[01:19:32] Defined by the following colors

[01:19:33] and there's just a small list of colors.

[01:19:37] Blue, black, white, 55 colors it says here.

[01:19:42] It costs more for all games but not at

[01:19:44] set side.

[01:19:44] No not simultaneously.

[01:19:45] Yeah so I'm going to guess like 4.

[01:19:47] Yeah.

[01:19:48] 6.

[01:19:48] I can't find yet to see.

[01:19:51] Nest color simultaneous color.

[01:19:55] What the fuck man?

[01:19:56] Yeah 4 palettes each containing 4 of these colors.

[01:19:59] Yeah.

[01:20:00] Yeah so I think 4 colors.

[01:20:03] No 2025 it says.

[01:20:06] Really?

[01:20:07] How many colors do you say Nesho at once?

[01:20:09] Yeah like that's not far from the fucking game gear

[01:20:13] but by default a game can have 13 colors available for sprites

[01:20:18] and 13 colors available for background tiles.

[01:20:22] Oh okay.

[01:20:24] So around 26 yeah.

[01:20:26] 26 well yeah do you remember the

[01:20:30] well I guess Mario was a Mario 3?

[01:20:32] Yeah.

[01:20:32] Yeah that was very colorful I remember that being very

[01:20:35] you know that one was really good.

[01:20:37] Yeah that was sick.

[01:20:41] Yeah.

[01:20:41] What a fucking game.

[01:20:44] Do you know where the fuck were we?

[01:20:48] We're talking about the game gear and shit I'm just like I'm just

[01:20:52] chipping away at random ones that I had shot it down.

[01:20:55] Do you guys have any other ones?

[01:20:57] You've got one more for you Aaron.

[01:21:00] You know this one?

[01:21:02] The Poke Walker.

[01:21:03] Oh the Poke Walker.

[01:21:04] Oh the one that came with was like heart gold and soul silver and shit.

[01:21:08] The most accurate pedometer of its time.

[01:21:13] Did you know that?

[01:21:14] Allegedly.

[01:21:15] That's I don't think so no is it.

[01:21:20] Allegedly.

[01:21:21] No they tested it.

[01:21:23] Oh.

[01:21:24] They tested it with other pedometers like way more expensive

[01:21:28] pedometers and it was more accurate.

[01:21:30] What the fuck?

[01:21:32] Yeah that's cool.

[01:21:34] Pokemon Walker.

[01:21:35] Poke Walker.

[01:21:37] Yeah.

[01:21:37] Yeah poke Walker.

[01:21:38] Oh yeah.

[01:21:39] Like a pedometer.

[01:21:40] A pedometer.

[01:21:41] That's adorable.

[01:21:43] It's shaped like a little Poke ball.

[01:21:45] Yeah.

[01:21:45] Cool.

[01:21:47] Oh yeah they had you could place it on it.

[01:21:49] What the hell?

[01:21:50] What?

[01:21:51] There's a screen.

[01:21:52] Yeah.

[01:21:52] Oh it's just a poke Pikachu with your steps.

[01:21:56] There was there was another thing kind of like what year is that?

[01:22:00] There's like 2009 I want to say.

[01:22:05] Was there a lot of pedometers back then?

[01:22:06] I don't know.

[01:22:07] I didn't count my my steps back then.

[01:22:10] Yeah 2009.

[01:22:13] Well apparently most accurate study tested various pedometers counting steps on a

[01:22:18] treadmill running at four different speeds and the Poke Walker ended up being the

[01:22:22] most accurate at counting the steps.

[01:22:25] This is that yeah.

[01:22:26] The Mary Sue dot com.

[01:22:29] The Mary Sue.

[01:22:30] Mary Sue.

[01:22:31] Good old Mary Sue.

[01:22:33] Thanks Mary Sue.

[01:22:34] Oh yeah there was also something kind of like that.

[01:22:37] But it's more I always state university.

[01:22:39] There you go.

[01:22:40] Oh hey.

[01:22:41] I was state.

[01:22:44] Wow.

[01:22:45] I was state professor.

[01:22:46] Lorraine.

[01:22:47] Lannigan Foster, you know her?

[01:22:50] You know her?

[01:22:50] Yeah that's my.

[01:22:52] That's my name.

[01:22:53] Lorraine.

[01:22:55] Talk to me I'm Lorraine.

[01:22:59] There's also something kind of like that.

[01:23:01] I guess it's more like the VMU.

[01:23:02] There was the PlayStation or the Pocket Station.

[01:23:04] It was like a yes that sounds familiar.

[01:23:07] Pocket Station.

[01:23:07] Pocket Station.

[01:23:08] So memory card peripheral for like the PS1.

[01:23:13] Yeah very yeah.

[01:23:14] Maybe it looks like it's another Tamagotchi.

[01:23:16] Yeah basically.

[01:23:17] You like slide your memory card into it or something

[01:23:21] and some games would have like little mini games on it.

[01:23:24] You just oh yeah.

[01:23:25] Take it on the go.

[01:23:26] It looks identical to it's like exactly the same.

[01:23:28] Looks more like an egg that says Sony on it.

[01:23:31] Yeah.

[01:23:32] Egg Station.

[01:23:34] It looks like a Tamagotchi like more shaped like a Tamagotchi.

[01:23:38] Tamagotchi.

[01:23:39] Man I love Tamagotchi.

[01:23:43] They were all the rage back then.

[01:23:45] And I remember we couldn't afford a Tamagotchi

[01:23:47] so I had to get a Neo pet.

[01:23:48] You know?

[01:23:50] They were the same fucking thing.

[01:23:53] Couldn't afford a Tamagotchi.

[01:23:55] Tamagotchi's were like that.

[01:23:56] That was probably like 12 box.

[01:23:58] Tamagotchi at home.

[01:23:59] Yeah let's see how much a Tamagotchi comes.

[01:24:02] We've got Tamagotchi at home.

[01:24:05] Tamagotchi at home.

[01:24:06] Neo pet.

[01:24:09] 18 bucks.

[01:26:14] Yeah hard no.

[01:26:17] Well here's here's my last two.

[01:26:20] You remember so they're pretty much the same thing.

[01:26:22] There's the the super game boy for the SNES which

[01:26:26] let you play your game boy.

[01:26:28] Yes yes yes yes.

[01:26:30] And I think game boy maybe not game boy color but for sure

[01:26:33] played your game boy games on your SNES look on your TV

[01:26:36] and that was pretty sure it worked with Game Boy Color.

[01:26:40] Well I mean yeah I'm looking very certain.

[01:26:46] I mean it would play the game if it was a color game

[01:26:50] it would just be not colored.

[01:26:52] It could also play the Game Boy camera.

[01:26:54] Oh yeah yeah do-al-mode Game Boy Color cartridges

[01:26:56] in Game Boy mode.

[01:26:58] So like I think Zelda DX it would play it in like regular

[01:27:02] regular Game Boy mode.

[01:27:04] Right man Zelda DX was sweet.

[01:27:07] Yes I love that one.

[01:27:09] And then there was the the Game Boy player

[01:27:12] for the Game Cube where you play your Game Boy Advance games

[01:27:15] on your on your big fat fucking CRT.

[01:27:18] How the hell how did that work?

[01:27:20] Because the Game Cube was a disk was it like in the memory card slot or something?

[01:27:24] No it was this like black big black piece

[01:27:27] you slap on the bottom of your Game Cube.

[01:27:29] Oh wow.

[01:27:30] And then you would there would there be a disk that you put into the Game Cube

[01:27:33] to boot it into the uh-

[01:27:34] Oh wait there's a lot there's a lot of plugs in the Game Cube.

[01:27:38] So a lot of like serial ports and stuff under there actually.

[01:27:41] That's archaic.

[01:27:42] Yeah you get like a modem for it to play online.

[01:27:44] Yeah.

[01:27:46] There was just a bunch of stuff.

[01:27:48] Probably.

[01:27:49] Mod chips.

[01:27:50] I tried to mod my Game Cube and I fried it.

[01:27:54] And the FBI came knocking on my door.

[01:27:57] Yeah Nintendo came knocking.

[01:27:58] Yeah the moment I put the the soldering iron to the motherboard

[01:28:02] I heard it knocking.

[01:28:03] Shikaru himself was like this like bro I fucking wouldn't

[01:28:10] I wouldn't do that.

[01:28:12] We got the police on speed dial bud.

[01:28:16] Can't think of anymore uh the Sega CD I guess I don't know

[01:28:20] That's pretty much it for me.

[01:28:21] Taped.

[01:28:22] Yeah I tapped out as well.

[01:28:24] We have a pretty good list I think.

[01:28:26] Yeah we had quite a bit.

[01:28:27] I don't idea the fucking there's so many fishing game peripherals.

[01:28:35] Well what else would you do?

[01:28:36] What else would you do?

[01:28:37] Man I guess back then fishing was probably very popular that's probably all it was.

[01:28:44] I feel like the uh like in the early 2000s when that shit was around

[01:28:49] like the fishing shit I feel like the X games and shit like extreme sports are more popular.

[01:28:54] Maybe fishing was I don't know there's gonna be like skateboard peripherals and stuff too.

[01:28:58] Did more people live in Florida back then?

[01:29:00] Because maybe just

[01:29:02] a lot of people.

[01:29:03] Yeah the entire entire US population migrated to Florida for that.

[01:29:08] There was there was that one skateboard peripheral for the Wii I think um

[01:29:14] Tony Hawk.

[01:29:14] Tony Hawk project.

[01:29:16] Tony Hawk project.

[01:29:16] Some shit.

[01:29:19] But it was more like a down downhill like skateboarding thing.

[01:29:24] Oh yeah that's what it was.
