[00:00:00] Hey everybody, on this episode of Gaming and Collecting, we're going to be talking about our Top 10 Anime Outros. Similar to last week, we're going to be giving our Top 10 and then 5 Honorable Mentions. But anyways guys, on with the episode.

[00:00:15] How have you been? Not great. Not great. One hobby that brings me happiness is already shitting itself and it's not great but I'm gonna just-

[00:00:44] Oh my god. You just need to go to the internet store. You need to go to the internet store and ask for help or get a cable. So, one or the other. Or you should un-upgrade your internet and it might fix itself. I don't know. I have no idea. Either way, moving on. It's been a weekend. You need to go on more bike rides and then you won't use as much internet.

[00:01:12] I love you. Join me on the bike ride. Ever since this stuff started happening, my internet usage has gone down so much because I'm cutting it down to try and help this and it's not helping. Anyway. You should change the plan back then. It's Memorial Day weekend. It's a shitty Memorial Day weekend. My god, the weather is horrendous this weekend. I don't- Hopefully it won't be rain. Oh, I think it is gonna be rainy tomorrow. Yeah, it's looking like it's gonna rain until Tuesday. So.

[00:01:42] Womp womp. But hey, you'll get to see Bubby tomorrow. Yep, I will. You love Bubby. I do. He's a good boy. You love Bubby. You have a fun schedule. I do. Yes, I made Bill a schedule for taking care of Bubby. His first two tasks are feed Bubby, well, and Dingle. But I know Miss Dingle is gonna hide from him most of the time because she really only likes me.

[00:02:10] But the first task is to feed them in the morning, then feed them in the afternoon, then check the water bowls to make sure. Mostly the one in the dining room. They like to drink out of that one more. And then to check the cat, the shitter. Yeah, check the shitter, Bill. Then you gotta check upstairs and downstairs for potential bar for hairballs. Because I have two cats with fucked up stomachs. It's my leg.

[00:02:40] And then his last task is to send, well, it's daily enrichment. And then to send me a photo every day while I'm away. So I know they're all right. Are you excited? No, sir. Well, I know you won't be able to play with Miss Dingles probably. But send me a photo. If she's under the bed, I'm not chasing after her. Well, yeah, you just gotta take a photo of her from under the bed. So I know she's okay.

[00:03:10] If you get a photo that looks like shit, it's because I'm not crawling under there. That's all I'm saying. That's okay. I just need to know she's okay. That's all that matters. Also, I got a new pet camera to put upstairs while I'm away. But, like, I'm gonna buy a new one for my downstairs. Because my downstairs one is like a regular camera. All right, all right. I'll let you go. I have Bubby right now. He wants to be free. Okay, be free. Be free, you. I'm gonna get another one. Because the quality is so much better.

[00:03:40] And I use my downstairs one as a pet camera. So I'm just gonna buy another one of those next month. And delete that. So I only have one less app to worry about, too. Which would be nice. Nice. One less app. There's so many apps. Appetizers. I'm hungry. No, just kidding. You have ice cream. So you're good. Bill! I have a question for you. What?

[00:04:10] What are you drinking, Bill? Round two! I am drinking... Can't find the music. There it is. I am drinking a... Because we are officially in the summer. It is a Sam Adams porch rocker. Wow. You should get a porch rocker. I don't really have a porch. Just, like, put it in front of your door. And just, like...

[00:04:39] Rock in front of your door. Or no! Put it in your entryway. And just have the screen door open. Because that's as close to a porch. And just stare at your neighbors. Be like... Got my porch rocker. So weird. On my porch. Exactly. I'm trying to get... They have caught me, like, creeping... They've caught me creeping out my little window there sometimes. Because I'll be, like, scoping out the neighborhood. That is... One thing I like about mine. Is that it's recessed back. So, like, if I'm creeping... Like, no one can tell...

[00:05:09] No one can tell I'm creeping. Unless I have the door open. See, I can creep in the backyard. Because I can see... I can see the chatty cat these at the mailbox. Oh, you can? You should throw eggs. I don't know. I always... Because these are my neighbors. They're mine, too. Well, we got one. That if you see her, you know... You can huck at any guy at her. It's probably fine. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Causing issues. I do see some funny...

[00:05:40] Like, the person who blocked the mail truck... And just didn't move. And I'm like... Sir. Sir. This is a Wendy's. Yeah. Have you got a Panda Express? No. Me either. It's a Chinese. Yeah. It's Chinese food, like... But like... McDonald's. Fast food Chinese. That doesn't sound appetizing, but at the same time, I'm curious. It's like the mall Chinese food. I don't know if there's one...

[00:06:09] I'm getting an ad for it. Now I kind of want to... Panda Express near me. Let me see. There's one in... There's one in Enfield? Oh, that's not Panda Express. No. Peking Express. I don't think that's a restaurant. Oh, is there one in Manchester?

[00:06:39] I don't want to know now. I want... Oh, there's one in a... Oh, it's permanently closed. That's not a good sign. There's one in Manchester. So, I guess... Oh, it was in Agawam, but it's closed. Huh. Well... I guess we won't be getting Panda Express.

[00:07:09] No. Because there's none near us. And I don't want to... I'd rather go to Teriyaki Madness if I really wanted something. Because that's down the street. Yeah. Honestly. Probably easier. Yes. Aren't you going to ask me what I'm drinking? How's your water box? Can you hear that? Yeah. The ice is melting, but I'm staying hydrated.

[00:07:40] I'm not. I'm doing the opposite. Nice spring water. I have plenty of stickers on there. I do have a Hello Kitty in a water bottle. That's a new sticker I added. But yeah. I'm kind of tired. I need to go to bed early tonight. Because I've got to be up at 5 tomorrow to get to home. To get to Boston. Because I'm going on a cruise. I'm going on a cruise. Also, the Twilight episode came out today, right? Yes.

[00:08:08] Has anyone commented on it? Our friend, honey, said that she loved the idea, and she said it was totally an Alex idea. And there was deep conversation about Robert Pattinson and, like, good roles he's been in. He has been! I feel like that's his goal now of, like, because he was in, like, the worst movie ever made. And is now... Alex, he was not in the Bratz live action. What are you talking about? What?

[00:08:37] No, that was a great movie. We'll save that for later. We'll save that one for later. Yeah. That was fun. Moving on, though. Now we're doing it. That was fun. And now we're done. It's time to say goodbye. Goodbye, cruel world. If you listened to last week's episode, I'm sorry for the audio issues, but that's just...

[00:09:07] That's my life now. We're doing... You gotta go to the internet store! Yeah. Change your plan back. So, we're now doing the follow-up to last week's episode. This time we're doing our time-made outros. Outros. And... Five honorable mentions. So... Yes. Outros... What? I have 30. 30 honorable mentions. I'm kidding. I don't.

[00:09:37] I don't. That would be a lot. Nice. Alright. So, I guess we'll start off like we did last time. Obviously, same situation. One show per series. Movies. So, sticking with the... The singles for shows. Yeah. So... My number 10 is More Than Words by Hitsui... Hitsui... Hitsui... Bangaku.

[00:10:06] I'm sorry about pronunciations. I'm struggling. I'm struggling hard. Physically, essentially. It is the opening... The closing for Jujutsu Kai's second closing. And it's that one that's like super, super somber. And like the... Like that one. Oh! Yep, yep, yep. Season 2? Yeah. It's the one that... It goes along with... You are my special... For the opening.

[00:10:36] Yep. And fun fact. It's the same artist who did... Apparently another intro that's gonna be probably on both of our lists later. Okay. That's true. You mean? Hmm? Hi, Bugs. Outro? Yeah, there's an... An intro. I guarantee you that's... I'm gonna probably do that multiple times. But yeah. So that's my number 10. What's your number 10 pick, Alex?

[00:11:05] My number 10 is Salt and Pepper by Chelmico. Which is the outro for Campfire Cooking in Another World Season 2. Uh, I love both of the Campfire Cooking in Another World outros because they do like the storybook drawings almost. And, um, they do it like it's a puppet show with the drawings. Uh, which is very fun. But this one was just like... I just love this outro. I never skipped it.

[00:11:35] I listened to the whole thing every time because I always enjoyed the outro. And it's just like a good... And it fits the vibe of the show. Good, wholesome, fun. Campfire cooking. Woohoo! I don't know. It's just really fun. The visualizer, though, that they made is slightly terrifying. Uh, because I just realized that it has a... You know how, like, some do, like, the visualizers where it's not, like, a full music video but it's just, like, a graphical thing? Yeah.

[00:12:03] Well, this one has a pie crust, a bowl of beans, and an apple fritter or something with a fork, and then a mouth is just over the pie crust. And it's slightly terrifying. I'll see if I can actually... Let me see if I can delay. I need you to see this. There we go. I'm, like, hovering over it. Okay, there we go. I need you to see this so you can understand why I'm slightly...

[00:12:32] I got a little creeped out when I saw it. Uh... Where are you? Where are you? Oh. All right. There. I just sent it to you so you can experience. Do you get what I'm saying now? Those are some mighty... Those are some uppers right there. Yeah. But the intro... The outro is really good, I promise. It is. I really like it. It's very wholesome.

[00:13:02] It's just... I like it. I like it a lot. But yeah, those creepy teeth. Creepy teeth. Nice. All right. Moving on now to number nine. My number nine outro is... Nakama by Zed Feet AI. I don't think it's that AI. Or I think it's I. But it'd be closing to Dragon Ball Daima. Oh!

[00:13:30] The Daima intro and outro are both really good. They are. I like... Because it's so... It fits the vibe of that series. Like, it's so chill. But like... It... It's the last thing Toriyama worked on in his lifetime. And... It just feels... It has such a final, definitive feeling to it. I love Daima. Daima was a hidden gem. It was. It is. But I really do like that outro.

[00:14:00] It's very calming. The intro's good too, but the outro is really good. So what's your number nine pick, Alex? My number nine pick is... I'm gonna butcher this. Uso Janai. Which I believe it either translates to believe or not a lie. Um... But... And it's the season five outro of My Hero Academia.

[00:14:30] But the second one. So this one was the pairing with the terrible... Yes. And I feel like this one gets forgotten... Gets overshadowed by how terrible the first... First... By how terrible the intro of this part is. But the outro is actually like really nice and such a pretty song. But it also fits the vibe of the show of like the villains and the villains... The dark and moodiness.

[00:14:59] But they're also like going through their problems too as well. And it just makes me sad because it's like a really good song. And like the intro being terrible kind of like... Kind of like ruined it for them. So it deserves more love. Um... It's tied to what's considered the weakest season too. It is. But the outro is actually really nice. Uh... And I do really like it. Uh... And I'm like sad.

[00:15:29] Because like it... It deserves better. It deserves better. Nice. It deserves better.

[00:15:58] It deserves better. It deserves better. It's emotional. Folksy. Uh... It just... It deserves better. We like a folky song. Yeah. Alright Alex. So for my number 8 pick... I must ask you a question. Yes? Do you like Doom? Hell yeah! I like Doom! Do-do-do-do-do-do-do! Yep. Okay. So my number 8... My number 8 pick is... Um...

[00:16:27] The song D-D-D-D... By No Name. Which is the third outro for Dorohedoro. And this outro is... Is famous for the fact that it is... A Doom parody. The main... I don't even want to call him a villain. Because he's really not a villain. He's just kind of a character. No. He's just an old... Yes. He's like an... He would be considered an antagonist. Yeah. For the main characters. But he's not really a villain. Yeah.

[00:16:56] He's a nuisance. Is the best way of putting him. I guess. Um... Ooh! He's also doing his own storyline. Yeah. They're nuisances to each other. I guess. That works. Um... But, uh... The... For the... Because the... The way the show's intro... But then the outros are all like super fun and interesting. Uh... This one is a Doom parody. Where they basically made a Doom clone. And, uh... Yep. He goes around shooting mushrooms. And it is...

[00:17:26] The song is just such a vibe. Because it's all like... Industrial sounding. And like... Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. Ding-dee-dee-dee-dee. Yep. It is a really good one. I mean... All the outros for Dorohydor are really good. But like this one... This one is like probably the most memorable. And a lot of... Strange Beat 5 is also really good. And like Night Surfing. Honestly, all of them really are. Yeah. So what's your number 8 pick, Alex?

[00:17:51] My number 8 is Veil by Kinyasuda. Which is the Fire Force Season 1 intro. Season 1 ending. Yes. Ending 1. Season 1. Ending 1. I'm... I'm going back and forward and getting confused. Um... But this one... It also made it on my list the last time. But it is such a good bop. It has a really great guitar riff. But also like the...

[00:18:19] The chorus is super, super catchy. Nice. It's one of those ones that it just like... It pulls you in. And you are very... Like you're into it from the beginning. And then the chorus really catches you. And it fits the vibe of the show, I would say. But it like has this really great like guitar riff. It's like... I can't... I'm not... I can't do it. But the guitar... Also, it's audio. That was the video. No, I know. No, I know.

[00:18:49] Well, I was going to make the noise. But I... Then I was like, no, I'm not going to. But it's also... It's one of those ones where like... I... This like anime came out like a really long time ago. And it's still one of the ones that I go back to all the time. Nice. And even though... Like, I don't know. It's just like it's nostalgic. It's really good. I really like the track. And like... I recommend. It's a good bop. Good, good bop. Kind of similar to my...

[00:19:16] The last episode where I like the ones that are not the regular poppy songs. So... I like it. Nice. I like it. Believe it. Believe it. Nice. All right. Moving on now to my number seven pick. I have... This one I'm going to pronounce is a butcher. Ren de... Ren de... Zvo... Ren de...

[00:19:46] Zvoz. By... Canaria. It is the sixth outro to Chainsaw Man, season one. Ah... Wait, I need to... Which one was that one by? Canaria. Canaria... Outro. I need to remember which one this is. It's...

[00:20:13] I'm struggling to do the sound for it. It's... The problem with Chainsaw Man is there's like a different outro for every episode. So like... You kind of have to remember which ones they are. Oh! Oh! Yes. This one. Ren de views. Ren de... Yeah. I... I can't read. I didn't go to college. Um... No, that's fine. No, I like this one too. I... It was hard.

[00:20:39] I did have a Chainsaw Man one on there at one point, but it did get pushed off. But honestly, all the Chainsaw Man outros are bangers. Like, they're all really good. That one is a really good one. That one's the one that I hear the most often because I swear to myself. But, um... Yeah. Um... What is your number... I forgot already. What is your number seven pick?

[00:21:07] My number seven pick is I'm also gonna... What's this? Uh... Ten... Tenjo Tenge. Uh... Which I believe translates to, uh... Heaven and Earth. Which is the Black Clover, uh... Fifth ending. Uh... This is the one that goes... You know which one I'm talking about? Yeah. This is my favorite outro. I love this one. I never end it.

[00:21:34] And I feel like, too, Black Clover, it has a lot of really upbeat intros and then kind of more downbeat outros. But this is the only one where it's like... It's a jam outro. And it's kind of my favorite one. It really is my favorite one. That one by the... Park is pretty good, too. Like, I remember liking that one a lot. Yeah. I forget which number that is. But, um... Which one? The band's called The Charm Park. I can't remember for the life of me what the...

[00:22:04] Oh, actually. I think it was on my list last year. One second. It's Hanagashi Sakumichi. Oh. This is... I don't. I can't remember. Oh! This one. Wait. Let me click. Oh, yeah. That one's also a good one, too. I remember liking that one a lot. Like, I really like this one. I just think it's like a... Like, it has like the... Like, you can just really sing along to it. Even though you...

[00:22:33] There's not really any, like, English lyrics in it that you can, like, understand. But I don't know. I feel like this one you just... You bop and vibe, too. It's a vibe. Alright. Just starts aggressively headbanging, even though no one can see. You're happy. So, my number six pick. Is... Dandelion by... Vanillas.

[00:23:02] I think that's how it's pronounced. It is the Sakamoto Days Part 2 outro. It's kind of like the one that goes, like... Do-do. Do-do. Do-do. Do-do. And they're kind of, like, just all standing in the background with, like, these colors flashing. It's a really fun outro. I like it. Yeah. Sakamoto Days had some underrated... Underrated gems.

[00:23:31] It does. Well, there's that Kroy song, which is the... Yeah, I know. The part two intro. I actually considered that one, because I did like that one a lot, too. So, what is your number six, Alex? My number six is... It is... Sorry, my iPad went to sleep.

[00:23:55] Anytime, Anywhere by Millet, which is the free reign beyond journeys and season one, both the outro for season one's... Both halves, I guess. Because the intro changed halfway through. But this one stayed. The only difference is, actually, it just picked up on the second half of the song in the later season. That was a cool effect. No, that...

[00:24:25] I just... I don't know. Like, this song just, like... I actually was reading, because someone on Reddit posted, like... Does this song just make anyone else cry like a baby? Like, I don't know. It just... It fits the vibe of the show so well. Mm-hmm. And especially, I feel like, too... Like, the very first lyric, which they... Which is in English, which is... And you alright? Can you hear me?

[00:24:53] And then later on, it goes... And I'm alright. Yeah, I can hear you. Which goes into the second song. Like, the second half. But... I don't know. It's just... It's such a pretty song. And it fits the vibe of the show. And with the visuals, like, of the hand-drawn visuals for season two... For the outro, for both parts. It's just... It's so beautiful to watch and listen to. I never skip the outro.

[00:25:20] Like, it's definitely one of my favorite songs that have come out of anime recently. It's just... It's so pretty. And I also cry like a baby when I see the outro. Because it's just... I love Free Rin! The story's amazing. And it fits so well with Free Rin. The story. Nice. Yes. Alright. Moving on now to number five. This one, my pick is...

[00:25:49] The song, I... By Bump of Chicken. What? What? No. It is the final intro for My Hero Academia. For the final season. And I love this song so much. Yes. It's just... It's super upbeat. Super... Didn't it... Wait. Didn't it win best outro? Best intro? No. Best outro at the anime awards?

[00:26:18] I haven't looked at those yet. Because we're going to cover them on Geek Actics next recording. Um... But... Sorry! Spoilers! I think it did. I think I saw that. I voted for it. So that's fine. Okay. So you're happy. Okay. Good. Yeah. But yeah, I love that. That final intro was so fucking good. And I really enjoyed it. It fit the journey of that show. I watched it from.

[00:26:47] Start to pretty much finish in one go. I still need to watch that. But honestly, like, before I go into the final season... I gotta watch it. Rewatch it from the beginning. And unfortunately, it just kind of keeps getting pushed. Because I need to rewatch Free Rain. First. I need to rewatch that before I watch season two. Um... And that's kind of next on my list. Uh... I'm finishing the show. But then, like, there's other things. I'm like, oh, but I could also watch this. Uh...

[00:27:14] And I could watch a show about a rooster fighting monsters. Yeah. And that's been great. Also, you have to watch Oshinoku. Because, like, I need to share this shit with... Oh, yeah. Shit with... I'm waiting for that to fully come out, though. Because, like, I... I almost did the last time. And then I had to wait a week and I was pissed. So I'm not doing that to myself again. So... And I gotta honestly rewatch that as well. So... I gotta rewatch the last time. Well, because I like to be recapped.

[00:27:44] I like to recap. Uh... There's only, like, three more episodes left of that, so... Okay, perfect. So... Three more weeks and then I can watch it and talk to you about it. I can't wait to get your text messages being like, What the fuck? Yeah. All right. Uh... What is your number... Five pick? You like jazz?

[00:28:13] Lost in Paradise. That was fun. I guess it's jazzy. The one that's totally a Persona song. Yes. Yes, it is. Um... Yeah. Lost in Paradise. For... Uh... By Allie and Aklo. Uh... For Jujutsu Kaisen. The Season 1. Um... Ending 1 outro. That fit Season 1 pretty good. Uh...

[00:28:42] Like, the first half of Season 1. Because not a ton of depressing stuff happened yet. Before that show became so bleak, I stopped caring. No, yeah. Kind of. Uh... This is where it was still kind of good vibes going on. No one... That really... No one died yet. Which is good. Or if they did die, Yuji came back. So, like, it wasn't a deal. Yeah. But yeah. Lost in Paradise is just... It's such a bop. Um... Very, you know... Jazzy. Bombastic.

[00:29:12] Very fun. I don't think there's anyone that I've talked to who doesn't enjoy it. Like that song and then watch the show and go, huh? Yeah. Uh... And then especially the outro. The outro sequence is also just really fun. Um... Just with the, like, almost hand-drawn look of it. Where the characters are all color-blocked and stuff. Like, that's also just really fun. And it fits the vibe of the song. It's just... It's a great bop.

[00:29:42] It's a good... You can just, like, can't go wrong. And then it just goes into depression after. And you're like, oh... Like, when it changes over to the second outro. Which is also a very good song. Uh... But there's a lot more somber. That was, like, just a little, like, sprinkling into, like, what we were getting ourselves into. For a second. Oh. That you were gonna say before it becomes... You are. Uh... Nice. All right. I didn't get any of that.

[00:30:12] That's fine. I didn't get anything that you said. Sorry. I said... I said, like... I said... It doesn't matter. I didn't really say anything. Anyways. Moving... Uh... Number four. My number four pick is... This one was tough. This one was really hard. It is... Beautiful Colors by OneRepublic. Kaiju number eight. Season two outro. That is a good outro. It was literally between...

[00:30:40] Well, I couldn't pick Invincible because that's the movie, technically. But, um... It was between this... Invincible is also very good. It is. Honestly. I think Invincible is probably my favorite of the three. But because we didn't do movies... It was excluded. We can do another one for movies. That one has to be harder. Actually. But there is a lot of movies that we could choose from. But it could also be hard. We could also just do, like, anime songs, too.

[00:31:08] Like, ones that aren't technically an intro outro. Because there's a lot of good ones of those, too. That'll be the next part. Get ready. Anyways. But, yeah. So, Beautiful Color. Beautiful Colors. It... Nobody is iconic because, A, I've heard that song in public multiple times by people who have no idea. Which is funny. But, um... Yes. I loved Beautiful Colors just because it is such a relaxing vibe after... Shit. It's in season two. Um...

[00:31:38] There was a lot of moments in that season where you're like, damn. Um... Um... But it's okay because we have Beautiful Colors to keep us going. Yeah. It's all we need. I just love that they're keeping the whole OneRepublic being the outro people going. I... And I hope it stays to the next season. I'll be disappointed if it doesn't. I mean, there's only gonna be, like, one more season at the rate they're going. So, I hope... I honestly hope that... One more banger.

[00:32:09] Yeah. Yeah. What's your number four pick, Alex? Hey, Bill. Do you like Doom? Is it DDD? Yeah. It is. I mean, this... It's just so... Well, one, it fits the chaoticness of the show. It's with, honestly, some people's favorite character. And is one of... Is probably my favorite character. But, honestly, I like the whole cast of Dory Dory.

[00:32:39] There's not a single character I don't really like. But N is definitely my favorite. He's Mushroom Man with a lot of powers. His power is mushrooms and he's undefeatable. Portobello. That's my favorite line in this scene. Portobello. And it's just such a freaking bop. Ding, ding, ding, ding. Like, it's a bop, but also kind of, like, hypnotic bop. Like, you like... Very industrial. Industrial. Very industrial. Very fun. And they made a Doom clone, which is also just really fun.

[00:33:09] So... This is where, like, most of the budget went. Was towards the Doom clone. Because the other ones are kind of, like, scrolling backgrounds. Where they're mostly walking back and forward. And this one, I think, is where the budget went. Very fun. Very fun. All right. Moving on now to number three. I'm actually shocked it was not on my list the previous time we did this. Because this is one of the greatest intros in anime history. Outros? Outros, yes.

[00:33:40] So my number three pick. The Real Folk Blues by Mai Yamane from Cowboy Bebop. Oh. It's just such a... This song is way better than it. I mean, the whole show is amazing. And the music is amazing. But, like... You could listen to this, like, in public. And people probably wouldn't raise an eyebrow. Because it's, like, slow jazz. And just, like...

[00:34:10] It's just so good. Like, I can't believe I fully missed it the first time around. I just didn't think of it. It happens. It happens. There's a lot of other choices. Nice. What's your number three pick? All right. I'm going to set the scene. It's three in the morning. You're watching anime on the... That's... What the fuck? You were supposed to guess that quickly? Yes. It's Fukumori.

[00:34:38] Which translates to Deep Forest. And it's probably one of the most iconic anime outros of all time. Yeah. Because so many bastards woke up to it in the morning. Yeah. It really is. But it's also just an amazing song. I mean, Due as Infinity is so talented. She did most of the other outros for Inuyasha as well. She did a lot of them. Inuyasha is famous for having shit intros. But amazing outros. Except for Change the World. I'll defend Change the World.

[00:35:08] I think it's just okay. It's just okay compared to Due as Infinity. I guess Finny did one of the intros. Yeah. And even that one's not as good as her outro. The outros are just better. But this one's amazing. It's centered around the favorite character of the female audience. Shishomaru. We can't... You know, he's hot, Bill. He's hot. Give us hot Shishomaru. He's way better than Inuyasha. Even though Inuyasha...

[00:35:38] And also, the show should be called Kagome. It's Kagome's story. Not Inuyasha. They should change it. I'm gonna write a petition to change it. Yeah, because petitions work. But I can say, like, to this day, there's just not an outro that hits like this song. This song just hits different. Because you can be... You can be sitting somewhere and then you just hear the... Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

[00:36:08] No, yeah. The drum fill. The iconic part. Because the version that's used in the show cuts out the opening, like, acoustic part. Yeah, the... Because I love that accruciation. Yep. Yeah. Which is a shame, because that is one of the best parts. Yeah, the full song is amazing. But it also is a lot for an intro. Because, like, the intro... You wouldn't get to, like, the actual iconic part until, like, the end of the outro. Yeah.

[00:36:40] That is a great song. You'll hear it. It's on my list later. Don't worry about it. Actually... It's actually my number two pick. So, like, we can just continue on from there. All right, yeah. Yeah. It was Infinity, the second Inuyasha outro. It is... I think last year we both had it as our number one pick. Yes. On both our lists. It is... Because it's so iconic. Like, I think everybody agrees that it is... Even non-Inuyasha fans will love that song. Because... Yeah. We were all exposed to it.

[00:37:08] We all woke up drunk one morning and heard it. Not even... We were kids. You weren't drunk. I'm talking from people. People... Hey, I've... I've woken up drunk nowadays. Watching... Watching Inuyasha. Oh, yeah. You are an Inuyasha fan. Ew. No, just kidding. Yeah, okay. You're never finding your one piece, but that's fine. No! But, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Fukumari is great. What's your number two pick, Alex?

[00:37:37] Well, I kind of want to hold on my number two pick. Because I know it's your number one pick. So... Okay. I'm just going to hold. I'm going to hold because I know it is. I know... All right. I don't know what else could be your number one pick. Yeah. So, I'm going to take that bet that my number two is your number one. And I'm going to wait. So, let's just skip to honorable mentions. Then we can both talk about it. Okay. Fair enough. Fair enough.

[00:38:05] So, I guess I'll just go through with my honorable mentions real quick. So, I have... A lot of these are struggles to say. Ana Aki no Sora by the band Adieu. It was one of the outros... Actually, it was the outro to Yare Princess Half-Demon. The first season, I believe. Or actually, no. Second season, I think. Doesn't matter. The show is mid, but it has some good music.

[00:38:37] I can say that now because I've read the manga. The manga is, like... In every way. I also have... Haru... Hara... Arara... By the band Jenic. The final outro to Fruit Baskets. Do-do-do-do-do-do. Oh, yep. I have... I have... Karenai Hana. By... Mikuni...

[00:39:07] Shimekawa. The Full Metal Panic outro. Very iconic from my childhood. I remember hearing that song a lot. I have Color by the band Yama. Which is the Spy Family Season 1 Part 2 outro. Very fun one. And then... This one is a bit of a deeper cut. R.I.P. to anybody who did not buy a Blu-ray of it. Last Theater by Noisy Cell. The outro music to Death Parade.

[00:39:37] Ah, that is a good one. That didn't make our intros either. I know. That one's bombastic. Flyers is iconic, but I had to... I had to restrain myself because it was too... It was too obvious of a choice. Yeah. Same. And everyone talks about that one. No one talks about the outro music, which is... It does get overshadowed. Yeah. Well, also because a lot of people don't have time for it. Because it's a fucking nine-minute song. Yeah, it is.

[00:40:04] It's so long, but it's so good. And you only hear maybe like a percent of it during the actual outro. A minute, probably. All right. What are your honorable mentions? My first honorable mention is Life by Rude Alpha, which is the Dr. Stone Season 1 ending one. And that one is just like... It's just such a good bop. It fits the vibe of the show. And it's just a really good time. It's like...

[00:40:33] It starts off with a guitar solo and just hooks you in from the beginning. Not like a... Guitar solo. More of like a... Like an acoustic guitar solo. Gets you in from the beginning. Nice. My next one is Shiso by Last Alliance, which is the Oran High School Host Club outro. And this one I have a vendetta against because we were robbed. Because when this show came out,

[00:41:01] it was when Funimation was trying to... Like did the English covers of songs and butchered them. And this song was fucking butchered. And the Japanese version is so much fucking better. So take a listen to that and get the English one out of your brain. Because this... It sounds so much better. Because you know like whenever they try and like force the Japanese lyrics to English, it just... It doesn't work. They only did that with certain shows. Because I can think of a lot more where they didn't know. They did it with this one.

[00:41:31] And it was bad. Okay? It was bad. Then we got Hot Pot Commander by Wednesday Campanella, which is the Welcome to Demon School Aruma Season 3 outro. I really like this one because... Well, one, the outro is all of them just like eating hot pot, which is really fun and little chibis. But it's also just like techno-y. And like very fun and very different for the show. And I really like it.

[00:42:00] But then I got Integlio. I butchered that by Kana Hanazawa, which is the Dark Gathering ending 2. And this one like... I don't know. Like it's just like so calming after a show that was very... Can be very disturbing at times. So it was just like... It was like therapy. It was therapeutic, which was really nice. And just a pretty song. Meatballs, if you don't remember. The People Meatballs.

[00:42:30] That was in that show. And then my last one is Nani Warotoni by Yoshino, which was the Yakuza Fiance outro, which I like the outro a lot more than the intro of that show. But it was just really fun because it was like this... This like really like... Not jazz. Maybe jazz. I don't know how to describe it. But it was just like a fun outro, like in a quirky song.

[00:42:58] And the outro clips were cute too. But I really enjoyed that one. I never really skipped the outro on that one. I skipped the intro a lot though. All right, Bill. So tell us your number one, which is my number two. All right. This shouldn't be a... This shouldn't be a... To anybody. My number two... One... Yeah, Alex ruined it.

[00:43:29] My number... My number one pick is Burning by... Hitsugi Fungaku. I can't pronounce that. I'm sorry. The ending theme to Oshinoko Season 2. Because my God, this song goes so fucking hard. It does. That guitar riff. This... This song... So there's outros that piss you off like the Soul Loveling Season 2 outro. Be like... That show will just give you a middle finger.

[00:43:59] And then you just see your fucking feet. And you're like, ugh. Great. Um... Oh, yeah. Stark was... He's gonna be on... What's that feet website? I don't know. You know what? There's that one where there's feet pics of like celebrities. I don't follow this shit. I don't know. Well, no. I heard... It was funny. Wait. Feet... Yeah, don't put that in your... Website of celebrity. Wait. I'm... Like, because it would rate the feet. WikiFeet. That's it.

[00:44:29] WikiFeet. I bet... I bet... Kimu-sung is on there. For that scene. He's on with me. Sure. Burning did it in such a different way, though. Because Burning... Like... Oshinoka Season 2 also has a lot of fucking wham moments. Like... You're like... No. No. No. I'm not ready. No. No. No. Burning does it in such a fucking cool way. Because... The song is like this really cool, like, drum beat. It's like... Do-do. Do-do. Do-do. Do-do.

[00:44:59] Like... As it's starting... You'll hear that drum before the actual show ends. So as, like, the state... The fucking wham shot Stinger's about to hit you. You hear the drums and you're like... No. No. I'm not... Not yet. We have to know. And then it comes to this, like... Awesome. Go on. Oh, I was gonna say... I do love when shows do that, though. Because for some reason, it really does make you go... Wait. I'm not ready. I'm not ready. I'm not ready. Like, you can't end it now.

[00:45:29] Because, like, JoJo's did that with the iconic roundabout. See, that's a real song, though. It's not even cheating. Well, because there's the intro part before it goes into the... You know. Well, yeah. It's the... But it does the little tiny strums beforehand. Like, similar to the... You know. Yeah.

[00:45:59] Oshinoko Season 3 does something similar. It's not as effective. Like, the intro's not... It's good, but it's not as... Yeah. But it's like, how are they gonna top this? They weren't. There's no way. Like, this will be very difficult to be... But it's fun. Because it goes from that drum beat to this, like, super grungy, just, like, alternative-sounding guitar. And then the singer is fucking amazing. Like, she just belts it out. And it's such... Yeah. It's...

[00:46:28] And, like, I think we've both seen, like, the clips of her, like, doing it, like, live, too. The actual clips of her doing, yeah. Amazing. So talented. Yeah. What's crazy, though, is one of the weirdest mood whiplash songs ever. Because it's, like... It's, like, super somber. But then it also is, like, weirdly upbeat at times. And it just kind of has that, like...

[00:46:58] Like, going into it, like... It's crazy. It's such a song you kind of have to listen to to understand. And then watch the show. And then see how they fucking do that shit to you at the end. Yeah. I mean... And one thing, too, is, like, that... What you actually just said about the song kind of getting more uplifting. It actually does align with the chorus, too. Because there is an English version. So there actually is a fully English translated lyrics. Yep.

[00:47:26] And the chorus actually does say, you know... From the darkness, a rupture of light. Here's to everything I wanted. Lying in the stage I see, I realize whatever comes my way. Be it pain, be it rain. Let me be. Everything I've always wanted. Which is insane, considering the developments of Season 3. No, yeah. Like, it's just... But it very much fits it. And, like, the song, too. Like, I mean, the lyric...

[00:47:53] Like, the first, like, verse has always been trapped into my life. Like, no matter how I try, I cannot get it right. You know? Isn't it crazy? The... Oshinoko intros and outros. Like, obviously, the Queen Bee outro... Season 1 is... Amazing. Yep. There's the... The opening... Idol... Song... Are dark as fuck. Oh, yeah. Like, even in every...

[00:48:23] Every Oshinoko intro and outro is like... You just start to pause and go... This show is fucked. But I love it. But it's fucked. Ah, man. But, um... Alright, Alex, what is your number one pick? Alright, I want you to guess. Is it Nobody? Yeah! I was wondering... I was wondering...

[00:48:52] It was tough to choose between Burning and Nobody, but I just... I fucking love Nobody. It's so fun. And it really does fit, like, season one, where it was a lot more fun. I... Is it weird that I... I always mix it up with Invincible. Yeah. I mix it up with Invincible because I just love Invincible so much. Well, and I... I love, um... Actually, what, um... Ryan Tedder said... Uh...

[00:49:18] Because he's done a couple interviews on this just because people probably asked him, Why'd you do an anime intro? Um... But he said he wanted to write a song that conveyed a sense of exuberance, fun, and shining moments. Uh... Which I feel like, for season one, that fits so well. Because really, up until, like, the last couple of episodes where, like, it's... Kafka gets exposed. It really is, like, a fun show where you're meeting all these friends.

[00:49:47] They're working together. All those other cadet teammates. And it's... It's just... It's so fun. I love it. I love the outro with, like, the slideshow of, like, all the photos and stuff they've taken as, like, a squad. Like, it's... Oh, I just... I love it. I love it so much. I think I just like Beautiful Colors, like, message more. But, like, nobody is so good as well.

[00:50:17] I just... But I also just love the lyrics. Like, nobody got you the way I do. And, like, it just fits with the team. Because, really, they all have each other's backs. Especially where, like, even when Kafka was exposed, they still all were there. Like, wanted him to be okay. And wanted to find some way to help him. Which... Did you just salute a kaiju? No, our commander's on that thing. Oh, right, right. Because nobody got you the way I do. I just love it.

[00:50:46] And I hope One Republic... I agree. I hope they just keep on doing the... They have to. If they didn't come back for the final... Like, if they don't come back, like, it'll be like, what? I'll be pissed. But it's so fun. And Ryan Tether is so talented, too. Like, he's a really great singer. And a really great songwriter. So, I'm happy that I get to hear more of his talents. Yeah. Nobody got you the way I do.

[00:51:15] I love how, unironically, I've been twice at work from co-workers listening to it. No, I've worked on the radio before. I know. It's a great song. It really is. It is. Nice. I'm sleepy. I know. So, similar to our intros, we do have playlists on Spotify. If you'd like to hear them, just send us a link. Well, let us know and we can post the link somewhere. We can post it in the server.

[00:51:44] Yeah. But, I guess with that, once again, guys, thank you for joining us on the Gaming Collecting Podcast. You can find all the major podcasting platforms. Nope. Be sure. Not anymore. We are only on pod.com. That's it. Sure. Nowhere else. You can't find this anywhere.

No. It's not that kind of boat. That's Luffy's job. I'm not going to steal it from him. But you're going to. You got to make the friends along the way. I do. I have a friend. His name is Oscar.

[00:53:10] He's lying in the corner waiting for me to be done so we can cuddle. Well, then let me finish then. You can find us on the SuperPodNetwork.com. Awesome site. Not there.
