Hello everybody, and welcome to another episode of the Elder Trolls gaming podcast. If you are new and join us, we are three brothers who get together and talk about gaming. We also may talk tech, TV movies, and other nerdy geeky stuff too. I am Nasty Night, and I am take it easy John, and I'm danned off the whys all right, and today we will be revisiting the AI video game Character Battle Royale Fighting Tournament TB TB technology. Last week we had Daniel's double last week. Hey, I did a pretty good job at nailing what you would say, actually laughing. I was laughing pretty hard at the test that you sent and you just sit there getting sniped by a bunch of pussies. It was weird because it gave me like some kind of like accent almost that's not really an accent, yeah, like an American accent, like Jonathan didn't really I didn't notice that. I could see Jonathan, I could see you buying that at a store. Well, I noticed whenever you sent that test and said getting I don't say getting, I say getting gidding, getting sniped. I'm like keating, like that's like American South. I think it's like weird American accent. Gabe. I mean it sounded like it does it did. Tambour was right on, it was scary. What was it was crazy? It was funny because I it and I mixed my voice exactly how I do with my actual recording, so it got like the the microphone sound and everything like really, well, I guess because I just I'll have to do the exact same moves on this because it sounds like my life. Guys, we could have anybody we want in the podcast if I could just do that with anybody else, Like I could take audios files from Trump. All I need is like get forty five under. All I need is like two or three minutes of their of them talking, and we can have that person in the podcast. We should get Trump on, see what video games he plays, and ask them about the presidential race that's happening right now. AnyWho, I've got some news. I purchased and upgraded from the AMD fifty nine hundred x CPU to the AMD AM five seventy eight hundred x three D, one of the best gaming CPUs on the market. Wow, yep, yep, yep wow. I saw those on Ali Express for four hundred bucks. That's about sixty dollars cheaper than when I paid for it sixty It's not bad because I got the bundled deal from new Egg with the mother People on Reddit said the Alley Express orders were going through and they were getting them, so like, this's legit. It's a legit thing, four hundred and twenty Canadian for seventy eight hundred. Until then they said it got there in like ten days. They probably passed through some Chinese hacking, spyware imprint on the chip. Yeah, they installed spyware on the chips some other bullshit. But yeah, I've got my rigall beast it out. So now I've got the seventeen hundred x three D matched with AMD's best GPU, the seventy nine hundred XTX, and uh yeah, and you still can't play games at sixty fps. Actually well I'll get into that later, but but uh yeah, you can't get much higher than that other than like a forty ninety and the seventy nine to fifty x three D you know what I mean. So my gaming rik's pretty beast, pretty beast. Yeah, And I took your old CPU and I dropped it in my server. Yes, and now my server now has a better CPU than my gaming PC. And then we're gonna take your CPU and we're gonna bring it put it into Eric's computer. We're gonna give Eric a bit of an upgrade here, because this PC is shitting a bit recently. Yeah, he's got a did he say he had a forty seven ninety? Yeah, he's got a fourth Gen I don't fourth Gen I seven I seven. Yeah, that's what I had. That's what I had in my old gaming PC. Yeah, and he's got the thirty seventy, which is getting chokehold by the CPU. I'm guaranteed. Oh yeah, and it's just overheating. Because I had a PC in my basement that's better than that. Like on the shelf, I have a sixth Gen I five. Well, his machine was my old landing machine where I would pick up like the land case where I'd pick up and bring it around. Fuck that's old, ten years old, twelve years old. But yeah, I have a I have an old PC in the closet here he can use. Do you what is it? That's the fuck? I don't remember you guys met that old shitty pentium thing. It was the one I did. It was one I used before what I'm using now in the studio, and it had that case that the fucking front flap. The door wouldn't stay open, so you had to tie it closes with like oh yeah you remember that? Yeah, what's in it? I don't remember if the look probably an I five something? Oh yeah, that I five that I got from work, like that test. Oh, like we got it. That's old. Yeah, that's like an original I five before the like their series started, the first Gen five. Oh my, that was like a that was the the pre sale chips, so they were sending that out to people to test. Wow. Yeah, so that was that was fucking all. That's old. That's after like the Core two or the Core two quad. Remember that. Yeah, that's like just after that. Yeah, man, I love that ship like old PC's and thinking about old you know, the old stuff we had old celerons and trying to game on the celeron Oh man, yeah, kind of strike. I remember that slow as ship, which brings me to another announcement. I will no longer be buying console games unless it is an exclusive for p S five. All my games will not be will now be purchased for PC. I just don't want to play thirty fps console games anymore, you know what I mean. I'm done. I'll wait for a while. I will wait and play them at ninety plus fps on my computer because it's fucking beast and I don't want to pay. I don't want to play ten ADP sixty fps games on a PS five anymore. Okay, okay, wait, so wait you're saying you're saying what am I say? If like eventually it comes out on PC, you're gonna wait? You won't get it? Like take Hell Divers for instance. Right, So if they release it they say, oh, it's gonna be a PS five exclusive, but also on Steam. I'll get it on Steam this time. But what if it's like six months later? Oh that's fine, I'll wait, but they have to say they have to say it's coming out for PC. You're gonna wait. I didn't do ship like DTA six. Oh yeah, yeah, I have to wait a year. Yeah that's no, you won't be able. No, I can't do that that'll be my lasts five game I buy. Also, I hope it's online is cross platform for that? Oh my god. So also, this CPU eight into my gaming fund by like three hundred bucks. So I'm in the hole in my gaming fund for three hundred bucks. So I can't buy a video game for like three months. I thought you were going to say more. Looks like you'll have to play some free to play Battle Royals. Perhaps, yeah, maybe perhaps you know someone who plays. At least I'd get like two hundred fps at eight K with Apex M. You know you should come play ranked because everyone got like no one got reset in Apex, Like I guess there's this thing like I was telling you. So now I'm I got reset my rank, which I wasn't supposed to happen because only like a small percentage I guess if people got reset. So so I'm back in still lobbies playing against like people I should not be playing against me. It's really fun. I'm just maybe maybe I will. That's all my banter for this week. What about you guys, So what's going on? Anything new? Uh? Well, I can expand, Oh yes, I can expand on this. So there was a thing Rob had our Kelp sent link in the discord about this APEX thing. So people were getting like reset, their ranks were reset, their badges were all gone. And I didn't think I was affected because my my level was the same. I had all my stuff. But then I looked later at my badges and they're all gone everything. All my badges are reset to bronze. So my all my diamond badges, I had like six diamond badges. Did they say they're getting this back somehow resetting this? Yeah, I'm sure they'll fix it. But like I'm like, oh, okay, so I am affected. And then I looked at my rank and I'm reseting that back to silver or something or gold. When I was in platinum, I was almost diamond. I was almost diamond, and I'm fucking now reset to goddamn. So do they usually do this, Well, they usually do a split reset halfway through the season, but this season they just they changed their mind and they said they weren't going to do it because of all the weird resets and badges that were happening. Okay, so they said no, they're not going to do it. But then when then split day came a bunch of people got reset anyway, and a bunch of people didn't, so they forgot to uncheck a box somewhere. I don't figure it was a super squirt seid. He's got reset. I got reset, the number one pred got reset, and the number two pread did not get reset. So the number two pread is now the number one pread, and the number one pread got set back to platinum. You must be happy, Yeah, like, what the fuck? What is going on with the like they can't seem to get just can't seem to get it right, these guys, they're fucking getting act like this is fucking nineteen This is going on for nineteen years. Okay, and this is nineteen years. But yeah, so now I'm reset back to silver and now it's like the Survivor of video games. Yeah. I started playing and I was like, I won like four games, and I was like getting points, like getting tons of kills. I was like, this is fucking easy. But then I'm like, oh, yeah, I guess if not everyone got reset, then I'm playing against people who were actually in silver and gold. Nice. So I'm just but it's fun to do that. So I don't know a little bit of smurfing. But you know, not my fault, not my fault, yep, I got reset. So anyway, Smurf, you freaking smurf. Oh I don't know how to play this surf first time. Yeah, it's my first time, even though my my pathfinder says I have six thousand kills on them all this week. Man. I remember we got smurfed on the on Sea Thieves ones, but we were we got wise pretty quick. You get like spurfed and see if thieves little losers were playing and on mic with us, and they were trying to do a fort with us, and they were like, oh, we don't know, this is our first time play, and we were like caught some nuances, like you wouldn't have known that if you were playing for the first time, blah blah blah. And it was revealed they stole your ship. No, no, actually it was kind of a draw. I'm pretty sure we did okay against them, and we got we got away with some ship and they did too. Okay. Well, they tried to tell you that they were I mean, it's I don't know if that's smurfing. Really they tried to Well, they're kids. Kids are stupid. These kids, kids are stupid. Kids are very stupid? On that latest design that you and I were working on? So yeah, I whipped up a dragon's dogma design called a rise a Risen. It's I got a heart and a dragon. The dragon is supposed to be hatching out of the heart like an egg, but it didn't really come out that way. But it's still pretty sick. I think it was pretty school design. It works best on the white. I find the others like the dark shirts. Not a huge fan. I believe that it looked good on the white because it looked good on the white background in the in the project file anyway, nothing nothing really new, Just been working teaching in the new job. The new jobs is going well. I'm actually doing music stuff now instead of just kind of shadowing the recreational there pists. So I'm doing my job and getting paid for it, which is nice. Uh, And that's pretty much it has a job also, career get a little bit more creative too. So maybe this week I'll jump back into the studio and I'll start recording some things again and just work back into it because I've been slumping on that. Well, don't, don't overburden yourself because you've got some eldntrol stuff to catch up on. Okay, like gaming, Yes, I got a game. We've been doing something, but that'll come soon, surely. Cool. All right, let's head over into game time. All right, all right, foos. What you've been playing? Well, I have not been playing much because Pam's been hogging the ps FI. Oh yeah, I can't really play my Final Fantasy, although I did get to play something yesterday, but I just got distracted playing Queen's Blood in the fan game, and I made a Queen's Blood video and I put it up on YouTube. There I found a hilarious deck that I made, and I was just fucking stomping. Like before. It was like I would play the guys and I would lose a couple. I'm like, okay, I gotta figure out out way to beat these guys. Edit my deck. This one. Literally I would just stomped them every time, and I like, I was like, man, this is deck is fucking sweet. So I made a little YouTube video but the deck list up there and uh yeah, I don't lose now. This queen's blood. This queen's blood reminds me of I confirmed my suspicions the Splatoon card game where it's got the little Tetris piece or it tells you where you can play it, right m hm. And then it's mixed with the old Final Fantasy eight and nine deck game where you're like, don't remember, you're taking over spots to like encroach and to get roach, yes and croach. Yeah, that's so it looks fun. I hope that they come out with like a mobile version so I can play it, because I ain't spending ninety dollars to play Kings. I don't see. I don't see why they wouldn't doing that. PvP would be pretty sick. I can give you the game once I'm done with it. I do have the physical nice, I'll give you the physical copy of I don't have anything. I don't know. I don't know what physical games I have, but I don't. Oh, I gave you. I gave you my entire library. So yeah, yes, I can just download anything I want from you. That's true. I don't know what were you playing before Ghost You gotta get back on the ghost aff for this, yes? Oh yeah, true? Yeah, And they announced the second one, didn't they? Or they're going to Yeah, the rumor has that it's going to be at the Night the next state of play. The announced really, yes, so I was I was right, potentially, but I thought that they had. I thought I read an article saying that they had already announced it anyway, like a while ago. There was just no real detail about it. But they never I've never known. But I'll wait three years for it to hit PC. After the piece. Well, yeah, I mean yeah, I would play it because I've been watching Shogun to and into that. Yeah, it's funny we forgetting about it. I'm like, every time you guys mention it, oh shit, I gotta watch it. Yeah, it's good. It's good. And I also watched some other thing, this Chinese novel show there The Three Body Problem. Very fucking cool, very cool, very cool, Pam, Actually about the books? Are they in Chinese? They were, but they won a bunch of awards, like their award winning novel. So the guy who made the show is the Game of Thrones guys, No, something like that. I heard some of them got arrested for for them for tanking the end of Game of Thrones. Yeah, arrest that motherfucker too. No, one of the Asian dudes who was like helping on the show or something. I don't know anyway, Yeah, that's pretty much. I have been played like Battlefield Afacts, Battlefield my Heartstone, My Heartstone Journey has not gone anywhere. I literally have not gained any points since two weeks ago when I said I was going to Wow, it's so fucking stupid. It's just like it's real. How do these people that are that high get more luck? They just play more than you. They just play like ten hours a day. Yeah, it's I mean, like, I don't know, man, it's the luck of the draw. The luck is just like no luck orang zero like I get absolutely fucking nothing. It cannot be that I am fat. It cannot be like I'll get points two games like win one and then three games in a row. Absolutely fucking shit. Dog shit hero dog shit, fucking quests like nominions, and I lose those points that I got immediately. Dog shit. You know, sounds like a sweet name for a band, like Crisp Brat. Crisp Brat Rat Mouse Mouse Rat. I've been playing. Are you done? Yeah? I got lots, so not lots. But like me and Daniel are probably gonna go back and forth on dragon Stock. Oh I was streaming the other night. Oh yeah, I'm gonna start streaming maybe more now do it? We both should stream more often. I'm just gonna stream. I don't know, just throw it up because you know what I like. I like just having the VOD so I don't have to do like time shift record, you know, replay record. But it's up there and I can do a link and do a little clip right in YouTube, and it's so easy. You just share a little link and it does a little sense. May I suggest something though, from the last time, at last couple of times that we've streamed, you need to bring your complaining down a bit, I think, just a bit. Now, that's what people want to see. People want to see rage. You think the doc, you think what you think? The tu tog doesn't complain. My God's not shooting what my controls my mouse? Well, that's that's how it is. That's what happens. It's a live review. It's funny though. And then the Rocket League was funny. Oh did you watch this Rock League? I had, I had it on while I was What was I doing? The last time we played? We sucked so bad that I couldn't figure it out. Just like, man, I can't play this game right now. I don't know. So I've been playing some Battlefield twenty forty two. I jump back into that. Oh man, it's so good, nice man. The game is so easy. I'm so good breezing breeze through every time one. But I only played TD. I'm actually I only played TD. I don't do that. I just conquest constantly. But I want to level my guns. You get level them way faster. Just like there's I just like that, there's something that I have to do other than kill people, you know, because I'm not very good at killing people. So I go and do the missions, which gets me points, which unlocks it because the good guns. Well, it's fine. I don't care. But like what squirty word jumped in, we were jumping in running around it was. It feels it's so smooth, fast, it's optimized. It looks fucking phenomenal. Yeah, oh yeah, And I cranked the graphics on it, cranked it. It looks unbelievable. It looks so good. And this when did this come out five years ago? Man? No, looks so good? Yeah no, I remember when I first launched it was a piece of shit and it was so much wrong with it. But now it's it's back to its like battlefield feels, and it's so bit close to twenty one forty two at all in colony, is it? You'd like? You know, that's not that futuristic. It's like kind of now ish, maybe with a few extra mm hmm. Yeah, it's cool. It's cool, very cool. I like it. I like it a lot. Actually, maybe i'll download it. Yeah, good study its man, it looks sick on the series on the on the PS five and the series exit looks really good too, runs good, well, it better and it's free four. It's almost twenty forty two, so yeah, it look good. Yeah, but yeah, playing that pretty sick. Next up is what I've been really playing as Dragon's Dogma two mm hmm, oh boy, oh boy. I have like sixty hours in that game now, I think somewhere around there, Oh my god, close, very cool, Like I'm I think I'm cleaning up everything before I go and do the last couple of quests to finish the game. Because I did finish the game kind of. I don't want to spoil it, but I got to the end and I was like, hmmm, I don't like this ending I chose. So then I went back, like I went back two hours and I was like, I'll just go around and do what I can because I like exploring. So what I love about this game graphics. Obviously, when it's pumped to the max in a two K resolution or a four K resolution, it is beautiful. It looks so good. It looks so good. The things that really stuck out to me were like the environmental details, like the rocks that looks looks real. Okay, it looks real out the steak the video. I thought, that's actually real that steak shot? Is it? Did you look that up. It looks real. Yeah, they just put a real video of the steak. Yeah, that was such a weird contact for that. So when you go and camp and you cook some of your meat or whatever in your inventory, it will just the loading screen for it is just real footage of a steak be seed and like a walk over a fire. And I did a doun't take because it started like it came up. I was like, whoa, those graphics are fucked. I was like, huh yeah, but what's stupid? What stupid is they don't put like it's not like a four K video, it's like a ten ADP pixelated shit video. Like it doesn't look good. It looks good on looked fun. I don't know. I think I thought it looked quite good, So maybe it's just I don't know. I looked. I was like, because that's what made me think it was in game graphics because it was so clear, and I was like, what the no, But they could have done you know those like YouTube four K like benchmark HDR videos. They could have done it like that. Get like like a ten second off someone cooking a fucking steak, just like the most crisp, beautiful steak you've ever seen. That would be sweet, that would be funny. Oh yeah, like the rocks, the trees blowing in the wind, the light rays through the tops of the trees casting shadows, like I was. The visuals are great in the first twenty hours, like I was, just like, oh so sweet. So it reminds me a bit like the Witcher graphics, the Witcher three graphics, uh, with like the trees moving and shit like that. But at least yeah, that Witcher three was more kind of cartoonized car It's like more not realistic, yeah, sort of you know, stylized or whatever. Stylized It was more like but that was old, older, right, slaying of giant monsters, climbing on these things to take them down, unbelievable, so sweet, Like yeah, if you die thirty times trying it, like me, well, yeah, the first couple, the first couple, you're gonna die quite a few. But like getting on the griffin's back and then as the wind's blowing in the game, you see the feathers like flowing in the wind. Man the detail is superb, it's unbelievable. And then when he crashes down to the ground and he like lets out a roar. He flaps his wings. The trees blow over, they're flapping in the wind. The grass blows with every swing of his hand, like it just blows like the wind. It's crazy. Yeah, there is a lot, a lot of subtlety, a lot of nuance. Yeah, a very crispy from Capcom. And just that just immerses you more. Right, You're like, I could feel that wind from the the stink breath of the Griffith, the griffin. You know they should add that extra dimension, you know, the stink breath. Yeah, like in our consoles, well in your console, yeah, design the stink station. I don't remember what the help was called the spray station. Well, guys, I've already immersed myself in forty because whatever finn sits beside me, his breath is terrible and he just farts in your face. Yeah, he like breathes in my faith. He's like, I'm like, they're an ogre around here, ogre around here. But I did notice one little thing that I noticed. Again, it's all about the detail. But you know, when you in most games, you walk in water, you get wet, and you know, I've got my characters wearing a fur cape like a cape lit thing, and you can see the how drenched it is after you go in some water or whatever. But there's stages of drying I noticed in this game, like you're soaked, because drenched is a status. First of all, they're gonna make that look. You're gonna look fucking drenched. You're gonna look soaked. But then you can start seeing incrementally, like the water drying up on your clothes in stages. I noticed because I was like, I was like, why does my my armor and my clothes look really weird? And I kind of did a spin around in the cameras like, oh, it's like partially drying now. So I've never really seen that. It kind of just goes away in an instant. It's like, okay, you're dry now. But that was really really cool, And there's just little things like that that I'm hugely impressed by. Yeah, it's really cool. And like the world they crafted just bags to be explored, Like a lot of it will be done on foot because of the whole fast traveling stones that you have to like find or thing or pay micro transactions for. It's a boat key, but like at the sixth but it's only at the sixty hour mark where I really started to use my fairy stones. Yeah, that you can port, so I've got like a bunch of those, So I'm only using them now because I've explored almost the whole map. I think I've got a little bit left to do. But just like running through the rain, killing goblin nests, cave dell like cave diving, the game has really scratched that open RPG like itch that I want a goblin slayer. You can just go kill goblins gobbled in son. What's his name again, Archibold or something. No, it's like your bold, It's something like that old gobold or something like that. But like, yeah, that itch is being scratched. It brings me back to the feelings I had when I was exploring Skyrim, and like exploring that world it just feels so fucking good. Yeah, I haven't haven't experienced that in a while. And that's why I think I keep turning it on and keep playing it, because it's like, that's what I've been wanting in the game lately. It's just like that good old fashioned RPG fantasy thing where it's like, you know, adventure awaits every time you turn on the game, there's like a mass world out there that you can just go and yeah, there's like these little I love that there's a little trails. There's the main road and there's little trails that just wind through the forest and they lead to either a campsite, you know, or a Gomblin nest or whatever or treasure blah blah blah blah blah. So I keep seeing these different directions that I want to travel, Like, fuck, I got to focus on my objective and then I'll maybe I'll come back to that or I'll just go and I'm like whatever, we'll see what happens and I get my ass whooped or I'm successful or whatever. But I have been finding it very very Uh. You get rewarded for exploring, which is always always, always like the bottom line, because like I don't want to go fucking running down this trail for fifteen minutes and then they're not getting there. But there will be something, Yeah, that's the thing, Like there will be something, Like if you just go off and explore someplace, there's gonna be something there for you. That's what's fantastic is no matter where you go, there's gonna be something and I'll always end up at a chest or one of those secret tokens or like a boss fight. You know, there's always something at the end of my little adventure. It's very very fucking good, very good. But that's why you should be prepared. Make sure you're rested. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah yeah. Another thing was the dragon fighting, absolutely epic. Have you taken down a dragon yet, Daniel, No, I've tried to take down a giant like mountain troll and man, Like That's another thing that came to my mind, Like the lighting in this game with like the creatures, their eyes will like light up, oh in the dark, right, if there's a like a lot, if there's a light in their face or like reflecting their eyeballs, like just to see their eyes behind like darkness. I was like, what the fuck is yeah? And he's like what he comes through the tree? Yeah, so funny. It was like this one There was this one time where I was fighting this giant I guess it's like a mountain troll and it like three monstrous trolls. It jumped onto the face of this cliff to get away from us, and it just like and it like looked back and it was just like eyes were glowing. I was like, and it jumped off the cliff of us. It was sweet. And the goblin's eyes light up too. If you're like, if you've got your lanterns on and you're fighting them or whatever, very very cool. But yes, I've tried fighting a troll that did not go well. Like I think I got it down to its last health bar. But that was like the extent of what my party could handle. So I was like, fuck, I guess I'll have to keep trying. You gotta find their weaknesses. I'm gonna get their weekend. I rearranged my skill sets on my my primary pond and on me, so she's not like going from ice to fire to eh, what are you playing your folks? So fighter and Mage are my first and secondary. But then I've got thief and archer, so that you're like side leveling. Oh okay, you know, but I rearrange skills so hopefully I don't run into the hole we can't exploit our enemy's weakness. Maybe maybe yeah. Whenever you have the mage and you have all four elements, you'll you'll learn which one is the weakness of the monster, and then that pond will go and tell others that they quest with, right, that the weakness of this monster is this. That's how it all works, right, they all teach each other. Yeah, the classes and the weapons and the pondscept's amazing too. I chose thief for my first vocation. It was so sick, Like the amount of damage you do is thief is unbelievable. Yeah, I noticed that. I was like, what the fuck? Why can't a fighter do that much damage? Like that's literally their vocation is a fighter. Well, no, the fighter is more like a tank because he's got the shield. Yeah, I guess. So you're attracting because you've got the shout. You've got the shield smash and the shield bash and you got the shout. You're not doing that much damage. But like thief. Oh man, it's like there's like an attack where you're just like like super fast, and there's this one where you you jump and spin in like a super circle in the air and it does unbelievable about the damage. Well, I'm gonna be a thief, then I'm always a thief. Yeah, it's really good. So I've leveled. Our fighter is not doing a lot of damage for me, even if I'm going and grabbing like upgraded, not upgraded, but I'll try to go buy better swords and shit like. That's not doing a whole lot. Yeah, so I've had where I'm at now. I'm so I've maxed out my Thief vocation, I've maxed out the Mystic Spearhead or spear Hand, I've maxed out the Magic Bowman, and now I'm doing the Warfare vocation where you can access all of the vocations at once and it comes with the skill that you can. You hit the skill and it changes to your next equipped weapon, so it'll change to Fighter, It'll then change to Thief, missed EXPERI hand, and then you can like cycle through. Very cool. The downside to it is you don't do as much damage in each one of those vocations. It's just that it's like a jack of all trades, master of none kind of thing. But it's very cool. Whenever you need to get something out of the sky, you switch to a bow and you've got a couple of bow skills you can shoot things out of sky. Very very cool. But yeah, it's been good. Yeah, all right, cool. I'm just gonna go through the things I don't like about this real quick. Okay, the story a bit thin does not push you through this game. It's cool, like the idea is there, it's just they didn't really do anything with it up. Maybe a DLC later they can flesh some more of it out. But so this really does then seem like a Skyrin style thing, because like Skyrm story, Styrum story is okay, but like, that's not why I played the game exactly. It's better than oblivion. Okay, Oblivion did not make me oblivion. I did not do the story in oblivion. Yeah. Things, and then modding. I know modding should be in my likes about this, but the amount I have to mod this game is a dislike. So a few of my favorite mods I currently have are the camera zoom distance, like I can zoom out more from my fucking character, Like why don't they just put that in the game. Fairy stone drop rate from monsters. So I've put the fairy stones can drop from monster kills like one percent chance. Oh so you're cheating, yeah, but like one, like a one percent chance of it dropping there. I can put it to one hundred percent chance if I wanted to, but I wanted to keep it a little bit more realistic, so one percent drop of those. So that's how I get my fairy stones. I never have over like ten fairy stones, so it's pretty good. I download a zero and I've been playing for Yeah, let's see six hours, and that's why or something. You'll find a lot in chests and stuff like that, but or you go buy them for two dollars cheap. They're not expensive. The micro transactions, Yeah, they're like a doll yeah. Yeah. I downloaded the two K resolution pack for the spells and Effects. I downloaded the Sphinx Quest Guide because you get to a quest where you have to answer some riddles, and one of them was so fucking stupid. It's like, where was the first time that you picked up your seekers token or your first seekers token? I was like, that was like fifty hours ago. How am I supposed to remember that? How's anybody supposed to remember that? So dumb? So I was like, I downloaded a mod that tells me where my first toe was, so I went to have picked it up. What else did I get here? Uh? I unlocked? I downloaded this mod that unlocks the shops in Vermouth, Vermoth, what is it? The main city vermouth locks. What do you mean? So it just sells everything, fairy stones, wakestones, pork crystals, fucking sells everything at an insane price. So I still have to go grind gold if I want to buy them, but they're there. If I need like a port crystal, you know, I have to save up like eighty thousand dollars to buy it or something like that. So I got that vermin ver for mouth, ver moo formooth, Yes, vermooth sweet, vermooth is that? What is that gin vodka? It's And then I got a colorful map and map icons because the map is garbage. It's like one color and I can never tell where I am. I like moditor, I'm auditor. So I can actually see the color of my character, like the arrow is standing out and other things are colored. And uh, I use rechade to make those visuals pop. You know some LUTs, you know, Jonathan, some LUTs. Yeah, it doesn't really pop on the PS five. I've noticed it's not really pop. Yeah, so I've got it popping with the reshade. But yeah, it's pretty good. Other thing, performance, obviously, is garbage. They really need to fix that. Obviously, it's garbage. It's absolute trash, like trying to just get it going from your going from wilderness to town and just a drop. It's just staggering, staggeringly bad. How I haven't really noticed any like how bad it at least on the console. As far as console goes, I'm like, I do always bad. If you're in the forest and you're like spinning the camera around and you're against like a rock face and there's trees on the other side of you, it's like you face the rock and it's like sixty fps, you face the trees and it's like no, no, no, no, thirty but it's like, eh, it's more like thirty and it drops down to twenty four. Oh so Daniel, you have the vrr Yes, have vrr on your uh oh on your TV? Then yeah, nice? Cool to get the uncapped. So he's getting up around forty fps yeah occasionally. Yeah. Yeah. I'm running now at sixty fps two K ultra wide resolution, running pretty good. They're maxed out everything. I just didn't put the race tracing on, but it looks amazing. They really got to fix that though. Getting into the city still drops down to like fifty fps, like forty five, like what the fuck. What is so different in this open world RPG where you go into any city. In any other game, there's AI in those games. Why is the AI so different in this game? I don't I don't know like that. The NPC, No, that's not what slows down. It's the clutter. It's the no I read it. It's there. The way they're calculating each individual NPC takes up x amount of CPU resources because of what they're doing. What. Yeah, that's so. Then you can see NPCs like just vanish like there, they'll be in front of you and they go they'll just go away, and then sometimes sometimes they'll just appear out of nowhere, like ten feet from you. That's how like the that's how they decided to I don't know. Help with the load is like just make NPCs disappear people. People go around and kill the whole city and it alleviates like the performance issues. Like people will just go kill like fifty NPCs in the city and it'll run better and you can kill people. Yeah, so stupid. So that is the dumbest I've ever heard. Yeah. And then my last thing is the quests. You can miss quests and then you'll end up with like a handful of quests in your log which you can't progress because you didn't finish or start quests previously, so it kind of locks you out of progression and other quests. That fucking drives me crazy because now I've got like four quests I can't progress because I missed what I had to do earlier in the game. Can you abandon? You can't abandon. You can't abandon and restart the quest line. Because I've got this one guy where I was supposed to some young lord, some lordling. He's like, I'm going to go out and get this medicine from my mother because she's sick, but my maid won't let me leave the house. So I have to find him a dappelganger, okay, and then I dressed the doppelganger up, and then he goes and gets this medicine, and then obviously he doesn't come home right, so I got to go find his body see if he's alive. I find him, but it won't let me progress the quest. Like he's there, I won't tell you if he's dead or alive, but he's there, but I can't, Like, it won't let me progress the quest because they like, move on, the game won't wait for you as the player. Right. That was like the concept that it's just like Kingdom Come. It was like, if you don't go to X spot for whatever quest, it will just progress without you. Yeah, it's kind of dumb because it's like, why the fuck am I playing this game? Then it's like, what do you sit there? Exist? The world just goes. I don't. I am not a fan of that either. That makes you because then you lose out on progression, you lose out on leveling up, you lose on rewards. You there's no point in doing that. That does not do anything for me. Like, so, whoever's listening, there is romance quests that you can miss if you continue the story quest. Okay, I missed out on romancing two girls because I just went to the next area. I went to the desert place and then that's when they cut it off, so I couldn't. What did you tell me to do again? You have to there's a quest for the brothel the chicken that like she's like a prostitute. Oh Finn is trying to get into my room. You can here's tale, but you have to do her quest. You have to do her quest and then go to the desert. You can only a romancer before you go to the desert area, so just google it first see what quests you need to do, because don't miss out on the romancing, because I think romancing one of those girls will then open up more quests in the desert area, which I've also missed because of that. Huh that fucking pissed me off, Unternette. That's it. And oh, you can't even start a new game. You have to delete your save file. No you can't. Now they patch that. Oh okay, good, so you should be able to start a new game while you have the other game. Oh cool. Yeah, great impression of this game so far that I'm very impressed by Capcom. Finally a game they made that I can enjoy and play. I mean, like maybe Monster Hunter games I could get into, but this is definitely kind of up my alley for sure, So very all right, I will play it. This is the continuation of the AI video game Battle Royale on our YouTube channel here, the Old Trolls Gaming. Let's catch up first. So I want to just cover a couple of things first on why it took us so long to get back by this. What took us so long to get back into this video game Battle Royal was how we were going to proceed with the compounding copyright filters on all these AI models for image generation, the time it took versus the benefit and the cost of real dollars to get the best AI models to make the stories and make the images and all that. That's why it was kind of put on hold. Making the image slide shows for the fights was way to time consuming, especially now that they've made it very difficult to create copyrighted characters in images and have those characters portray any sort of violence, even holding a weapon. They wouldn't let me do. So I just got frustrated and fed up and I had to think of a new way to do it. So we have found a new way to do it. We're not doing it okay, So We're not going to be doing the I slide shows through through the fights. We're going to record the fights like this, and if we have an idea of how to portray those fights, we'll think about it and put it in, But probably not gonna happen. With that being said, I did do the next two fights, so we do have the next two fights ready to go, ready to read. And this week we will be doing the fight between Link from Legend of Zelda and Master Chief from the Xbox Universe. Oh but before that, I'm going to do a little recap and the perpetual struggle between the Mushroom Kingdom and the malevolent Bowser. Princess Peach finds herself once again in his clutches. However, this time she proposes a daring solution, a Battle Royale tournament. If Bowser can emerge victorious amongst fifteen of the I don't know if it was fifteen victorious amongst these fiercest fighters of various gaming universes, Peach promises to marry him, thus ending their kingdom suffering. Inctually, confident begins to doubt as the competition intensifies, with formidable champions like Kratos and Link, emerging victorious of their battles. Meanwhile, Alliance's form rivalries ignite and Peach watches anxiously from her captivity, hoping for a hero to emerge and thwart Bowser's ambitions. As the tournament progresses under the moonlit sky, the fate of the Mushroom Kingdom hangs in the balance, with the outcome uncertain and tensions escalating. That's a little recap who has who has fought, and who has won. The round one matchups were Mario verse Pikachu, Mario one, Link Verse, Dante Link one, Kratos versus The Lich King, Credos one, Diablo verse, Chao Khan Shao kon Wan, Yeah one, garyl Versuffroth Suffroth one, master Chief versus Samus Iran master Chief one. And that was the round one matchups, and then we did start round two with Credos versus Chao Khan where Cratos emerged the victor. Nice. That was where were left off. Okay, that was good. That was a good one. Yeah, that was amazing. I don't think we're gonna get something like that again. Yeah, that was probably the best one. I was sick. So now before we get into the next match of link versus master chief. We have a little lower history. Bit. As Chao Khan crumpled beneath the might of Cratos, a palpable shift coursed through the air. Peach, captive yet defiant, allowed herself a flicker of hope, her eyes locked on the scene unfolding from her tower prison, Chao Khan's defeat signified more than just a victory. It was a beacon of potential liberation. Meanwhile, Bowser, observed from the shadows, felt an unfamiliar sensation clutch at his massive, fire breathing heart. Fear unfamiliar. He's always afraid, He's always running away. The god of war had dismantled a tyrant seemingly as invincible as himself, and Bowser couldn't help but envision himself as the next to fall beneath those remorseless blades. Fuck yeah, his darkened chambers, Bowser brooded over his new threat. His castle, usually a place of power and might, now felt like a fragile sanctuary against the storm that was Kratos. But fear was not a familiar nor welcome emotion for the King of the koupas it spurred him not into retreat but into preparation. As the tournament's next battle loomed, Whispers of credos might reached every corner of the land. Warriors trained with renewed vigor, strategies were whispered in hush tones, and alliances considered, and in her tower, Peach began to put faith in her rescue, her hope kindled by the godly power that had shaken the foundations of the tournament. Hell, yeah, now she's got cold, she's got hope because after Chao Khan, you know, after Cha Khan just decimated Diabo, Well, we certainly don't. She certainly probably doesn't want Shao Khan winning. He did or Sep Roth, So yeah, did, well that's good. But yeah, Kreatos I think is her ideal Maybe Link obviously Kretos are Link would be ideal victors for Peach. But what happens if Sep Froth wins the whole thing? He's just gonna destroy He's just gonna destroy the yeah, the world. It doesn't really matter. At least he won't like take her hostage and oh no, he save the planet and kill everyone by killing everyone kind of like what's his name from Nerudo Yadara? But he wanted to control everybody to peace right, and that's what man fucking sick. Anyway, here we go, Link versus Master Chief, Master Cheeks, mass Cheeks in the enigmatic expanse of the Mushroom Kingdom, amid a dense, lust filled forests, lush forest where giant luminous mushrooms towered above, creating patterns of light and shadow. Link from the land of Highral and Master Chief from the distant future Earth unwittingly cross paths. Their meetings took place in a clearing where a rare anomaly called the Portal of Realms. Portal of Realms, a swirling vortex of energy that connected different universes, had briefly opened and deposited them. This particular part of the Russian Kingdom, bathed in a mystical aura, was unfamiliar to both warriors, brimming with both beauty and an underlying sense of danger. Link Ever, the explorer was cautiously navigating this new terrain, his senses alert for any threat or opportunity, his hand instinctively resting on the hilt of the master sword. Meanwhile, Master Chief, after gleaming under the ethereal glow of the mushrooms, advanced with a measured pace, his assault rifle at the ready. Shouldn't that be like a battle rifle? Isn't that called a battle rifle? Scanning the environments for hostiles. Their encounter was destined. Two heroes, each a legend in their own right, now faced each other in an unknown land. The instigator of conflict came from a misinterpretation, a territorial instinct born from confusion and the necessity for survival in a strange world. Master Chief, perceiving Link's ready stance and the luminous energy emanating from the Master Sword as a threat, initiated the engagement with a warning shot. A warning shot for Master Link, trained to react instantly to danger, interpreted this as a hostile act, and so the battle commenced, not out of matel but from the primal drive to endure and conquer unfamiliar dangers. My god, it's like it's not violenced. Okay, they're not They're not being hostile. The initial exchange was a spectacle, spectacle of agility and technology. Link dodged the first volley of bullets with a roll, closing the distance, while Master Chief analyzed Link's movement, adapting his strategy. The environment became an arena, the towering mushrooms serving as an obstacle and a strategic point. Link used his agility to leap from one mushroom capture the other, launching arrows infused with magical energy, and Master Chief, who countered with precise shots from his firearm. Oh, each seeking their mark, shooting the arrows out shooting ice. He's shooting fire arrows, Ice arrows, maybe you know. And then and then Master Chiefs just shooting arrows out of the out of the sky. The battle escalated as both combatants drew upon their deeper powers. Master Chief deployed a bubble shield, temporarily deflecting Link's assault and forcing the highli end to engage in close quarters. I don't think Link wants to do that. Link does against Master Chief. He's got a fucking sword. That's literally what he does close scordes. Chief's got a fucking armor soon, he's got super strength. Just punched Link in the face. He's guns Lincoln is literally a blooded calm Link calling upon the power of the triforce, his strength and durability. Yes, his sword clashing against Master Chief's energy blade in a whirl of sparks and energy. However, as the fight were on, the differences in their strength and weaknesses became apparent. Oh really. Master Chief's augmented physicality and advanced combat training allowed him to deliver crushing blows, but Link's agility, combat skills, and diverse arsenal kept him in the fight. Magic technology clashed in a dance as old as time, each forest bending but not breaking to the other's will. We got the dance. The dance dances there and said. Turning point came when Link cleverly utilized the environment to his advantage. Leading Master Chief on a chase through the dense forest, he set a series of magical traps using his bombs. His bombs. Oh yeah, the fire bombs, flower bombs, maybe bomb from the slate there? Oh the sheika bomb? Okay, okay, okay, yeah, it's true. As the remote detonation run, so that must be what it means. Oh yes, the remote detonator. Okay, let's read this. Leading master Chief on a chaser the dense forest, he said, a series of magical traps using his bombs and the remote detonation run. As Master Chief pursued focused on the offensive, he underestimated the strategic mind behind Link's maneuvers. The ensuing explosions caught him off guard, damaging his armor and disrupting his helm's visor, temporarily blinding him. Seizing the moment, Link closed in for the decisive strike. Yet it was not with brute force that he intended to end the battle, but with precision targeting the exposed a face. Master Chief's armor delivered a series of rapid targeted strikes with the Master sword. It's just like stabbing him in the eyes. Through the visor, Master Chiefs staggered his system's warning of critical damage. It was a battle of not animosity, but of survival of misunderstanding. Okay, guys, fought with honor and valor by both warriors. As Master chiefs advisor flickered one last time before going dark, he lost consciousness, defeated but not dishonored. Wow. Link stood over his fallen opponent, breathing heavily heavy, breathing, his respect for the warrior before him evident in his solemn gaze. In another life they might have been allied, But here, in this contest of champions, there could be only one victor. As Master Chief Lay defeated Link sheathed his sword, casting one last look at the portal that fluctuated quietly in the distance, pondering the many worlds and battles that lay beyond. Cool. Wow, agreed, Wow, magic magic beats technology like all the time better. Well back then technology was magic to people. I don't know. It sounds like the master sword stabbing into Chief's eyes is what one. It's just like it shows sword stuck in his face. The Deadliest Warriors show like they have like a pirate. I remember that there was one episode with the nurses said the night. Yeah, that's funny. But anyway, there we have it. So Link moves on. I agree. I think I agree because I just don't have this feeling like Link wouldn't be capable of that. I feel like he could. I think it was a pretty hard thought. It was hard fought. Uh what what could what could Master Chief possibly do? He's got speed, he's got strength, right, But here Link kind of led him on a little chase where Link was had some plans, you know, but the Master Chief is also a very skilled military like guy. So I think it's just a magic magic over technology. That's cheek. A slate is powerful, man, the magic is powerful. I don't think that Chief, maybe because Master Chief might not have been expecting the bombs from this little bond hair tour, right, He's like this guy got a sword and yeah, I don't know each other. Yeah, because he doesn't know a slate and the bomb, so he's not that's true. So maybe time stop though, Man, you know what I want to see link verse Man? That would be so fucking is fucking strong. He can fly, he can fucking teleport, like no one would beat him except for Kratos. Maybe yeah, maybe, I mean maybe I don't know, like he's so fucking strong, like he literally what Superman beat him?
