[00:02:39] I mean, I knew about Samurai Showdown. I don't really know what the 3DO is.

[00:02:44] I just am aware of the games that they published like Battle Tanks and stuff.

[00:02:48] So like I have that 3DO like thing in my brain, like just built like burned in.

[00:02:56] But I didn't know that they had a console until you started the channel up.

[00:03:00] Yeah. All I knew was post console stuff, mostly army men stuff, which there's a chopper attack.

[00:03:08] Is it on the N64 green cartridge? Super fun chopper game. Very fun.

[00:03:15] Yeah. The air attack games are honestly some of the best army men games they ever made.

[00:03:21] Like, I mean, because that series like we've we're going to eventually go super deep into the army men series.

[00:03:27] But like the air attack games are like the few that I actually think like hold up even today.

[00:03:32] I've been thinking about playing a few of them on Steam Deck since, you know, you can get pretty much anything on it.

[00:03:38] And after playing the air attack game on 64, I just went ahead and downloaded everything that I could because they were.

[00:03:46] I remember there was one maybe on PlayStation 2 where it was one of the Sarge's Heroes games where you would use the flamethrower on the enemies and they would actually melt instead of exploding into chunks.

[00:03:58] Yeah, that was fun.

[00:04:02] That memory that I have fun in army men 3D.

[00:04:06] You could get the flamethrower and like whenever you attack like the tan army, they would just melt into these like tan piles of goop on the floor.

[00:04:17] What a good time.

[00:04:19] Yeah, the army men games were good.

[00:04:20] I mean, I think they need to come back.

[00:04:22] I think they were the perfect ecosystem for it.

[00:04:25] They were good until they decided to release 12 in one year.

[00:04:29] Yeah, the old Guitar Hero Activision method.

[00:04:33] Oh, you know, if they come back, I hope they come back with the same control scheme as they had back then where it was super tanky, super wonky.

[00:04:41] But that's, you know, the best is like not only did they release 12 games, but they were like super ambitious.

[00:04:48] They had Sarge's Heroes.

[00:04:50] They had the World War games, which were like just like so the Sarge's Heroes and like the air attack games were all goofy as fuck.

[00:04:57] Like like you were actually playing is they played into the fact that it was like green soldiers like like toys.

[00:05:03] The World War games were like trying to be serious and it was so fucking jarring.

[00:05:09] It reminds me of like you ever play the game dev simulator where it just lets you just like it's like mix and match genres and just make a name and then just it just RNG gives you a score.

[00:05:20] I love that.

[00:05:21] I love the simulator games, but game dev simulator is just very silly.

[00:05:28] It's one of the they also did like there was like a top down shoot them up game called like green road, which is really bad.

[00:05:35] There's the tactical strategy like RTS, which is actually like one of the best Army men games ever made because it's on PS2 and GameCube.

[00:05:44] Fun fact, it's good because Army men RTS.

[00:06:51] Wasn't that one the one with with like the super realistic main character lady?

[00:07:01] Yeah, well, because like it's like small soldiers were like they're just Barbie dolls.

[00:08:12] They made Sarge's war and major malfunction.

[00:08:15] Major malfunction was made by team 17.

[00:08:17] That one's absolute like dog shit.

[00:08:20] Wait, the team 17 from, uh, blasphemous and all these new games that are coming out that they, oh, wow.

[00:08:27] At that point, they were just warm.

[00:08:29] At that point, they were the worm studio, um, more than anything.

[00:08:33] But, um, Sarge's war was actually it started production at 3DO.

[00:08:37] And then after 3DO went bankrupt, it moved over to global star and they kind of finished it.

[00:08:42] And it's like extremely edgy for no reason.
