[00:00:00] Hey guys, on this episode of Gaming And Collecting, me and Alex are going to take some time to talk about the recently released Five Nights At Freddy's theatrical film.

[00:00:08] Basically going over the film and giving our thoughts on it. It was interesting to say the least, but yeah we'll save that for the episode. Beware of the spoilers, because we're going to spoil this thing rotten.

[00:00:18] Anyways guys, on with the intro music.

[00:00:30] I'm glad this is all getting picked up.

[00:00:50] Oh can you hear it?

[00:00:52] Yeah, it's been recording.

[00:00:54] No, I wasn't sure. No, I thought it was like it was too high pitched to get it in something so I purple mic.

[00:01:00] I got all of that.

[00:01:02] Aw, damn it. Oh well.

[00:01:05] Did you hear that?

[00:01:07] How you been?

[00:01:09] I'm eating a popsicle.

[00:01:11] Clearly.

[00:01:13] It's pita colada flavored.

[00:01:15] Yeah, that was always my least favorite.

[00:01:17] Those are my fucking favorites. I love pita coladas.

[00:01:21] I'll just leave them on your doorstep then.

[00:01:23] Okay, I'll see if there's a flavor I don't like and I'll give them to you.

[00:01:31] What were you saying?

[00:01:33] How you been?

[00:01:35] I've been doing much better.

[00:01:39] I still miss Tilly all the time, but it's definitely getting a little easier.

[00:01:45] How have you been, Billeth?

[00:01:49] Exhausted.

[00:01:51] Yeah.

[00:01:53] Oh yeah, I worked on...

[00:01:57] Well, I didn't work second shift, but I stayed late to do a training for second shift today.

[00:02:02] Which was fun and it went over really well, so.

[00:02:05] Yay!

[00:02:07] That's good.

[00:02:09] How are things?

[00:02:11] I...

[00:02:13] Have you been?

[00:02:15] Have you been?

[00:02:17] I just talked for like an hour straight in the training, so now my brain kind of hurts.

[00:02:23] Oh well, we still got to record. It's Wednesday.

[00:02:27] Ugh.

[00:02:31] It feels like Friday.

[00:02:33] Feels like it's been Friday every day this week.

[00:02:35] I agree. It felt like a Friday every day.

[00:02:39] There was a big car accident on the highway when I left. That was fun.

[00:02:45] Oh my god. That wasn't there when I left, but there was a guy who was going so fast down that whole stretch.

[00:02:53] I think he switched lanes. I saw him switch lanes about 50 times in the matter of like 20 seconds, which I was like...

[00:02:59] BLEUGH!

[00:03:01] Like it was insane. He just was like...

[00:03:03] I was like, he's going to freaking cause an accident. That's so scary.

[00:03:07] Yeah, people drive like psychopaths. That's why there's literally an accident on that road once a week.

[00:03:12] I was waiting for it to happen.

[00:03:14] I was like, shit, this guy's going to kill someone.

[00:03:18] Yep.

[00:03:20] Oh! Did you hear that?

[00:03:25] No.

[00:03:27] Okay. I guess I'll let people know.

[00:03:39] I couldn't resist and I did adopt another cat because I personally just needed to in my recovery of losing Tilly.

[00:03:51] It was very hard and traumatic. For me, I needed something to love and give love to.

[00:03:57] I adopted a little kitten.

[00:04:00] Well, she's like eight months, so she's almost adult. Almost adult phase.

[00:04:05] But she's a big fluffy butt and her name is Poo.

[00:04:12] So when I'm mad at her, I can call her a little shit and it's fitting.

[00:04:17] But Bill's met her a couple times.

[00:04:20] Yeah, she'll sometimes be my friend and most times not.

[00:04:28] It's not quite the love-hate relationship me and Till had.

[00:04:33] Yeah, well, she's still like she's still I've only had it for not very long.

[00:04:38] So she's still adjusting, but she's making really good progress in just getting more comfortable.

[00:04:44] She was very shy.

[00:04:46] She's definitely like she'll wake me up in the morning like screaming.

[00:04:50] She meows all the time.

[00:04:52] It's really funny.

[00:04:53] But the only problem is she loves to eat, but like eat everything.

[00:04:59] I think she's going to eat it.

[00:05:01] And stuff.

[00:05:02] She's like a toys like I have to like rip the eyes out and like cut the tails off of all her toys because I know she's going to eat them.

[00:05:10] So that's been great.

[00:05:12] I have this little bunny toy for her and I had to rip it to ears and tail and eyes out.

[00:05:16] It's really just two pom poms now.

[00:05:18] I'm like, this is so morbid, but I know you're going to eat it.

[00:05:21] Yeah, she's eating as we speak.

[00:05:26] She's a character, so definitely won't be having any Tilly segments anytime soon or anything like that.

[00:05:32] But Miss Poole is our new friend.

[00:05:35] She probably is not going to be a co-host anytime soon.

[00:05:38] Maybe not ever.

[00:05:40] We're just going to go at her speed.

[00:05:42] But that's also probably why I sound a lot happier because I've just been able to give love to a creature.

[00:05:51] Yeah, I've been running a lot lately, so I'm getting back into that.

[00:05:55] Nice.

[00:05:57] Treadmill or outside?

[00:05:59] Treadmill, I'm still in the process of rebuilding the leg muscles.

[00:06:05] So I'm hoping by like the summer, I'll be able to start running again.

[00:06:09] Nice.

[00:06:10] I want to start biking again, but I want to get through nationals first for dance and then start biking as like conditioning after.

[00:06:20] But right now I'm at the studio like four or five days a week.

[00:06:25] I think four days a week, so I got to rest at some point.

[00:06:29] So yeah, then we've just had the worst luck with weather.

[00:06:33] I swear lately it's been pretty every weekend.

[00:06:36] It's like during the week, it's like beautiful and nice out.

[00:06:40] And then it's the weekend.

[00:06:41] It's like raining.

[00:06:42] Yeah, like yesterday.

[00:06:43] Yesterday was beautiful.

[00:06:45] And then today fucking miserable.

[00:06:47] Oh, my God.

[00:06:48] Today was humid like today in the shop.

[00:06:50] Oh, my God.

[00:06:51] It was humid.

[00:06:52] Oh, my God.

[00:06:53] I got my hair.

[00:06:54] Do you see the difference, Bill?

[00:06:57] It's better now.

[00:06:58] It's it.

[00:06:59] Well, it's caught.

[00:07:00] It looks more red, but it's actually coppery.

[00:07:03] Did you get rid of the purple?

[00:07:04] No, the purple still there.

[00:07:06] Okay.

[00:07:07] It's just coppery towards the front.

[00:07:10] So I decided to change it up for summer a little bit.

[00:07:14] My castors can't see it because they don't have any makeup on.

[00:07:17] Sorry, but I look hideous without it.

[00:07:21] Lovely.

[00:07:25] Yeah.

[00:07:26] Another method.

[00:07:27] It's been it's been a time.

[00:07:29] It's been a time.

[00:07:30] Yeah.

[00:07:31] In our lives.

[00:07:32] You're going to your reunion this weekend.

[00:07:34] Weather dependent, but yeah.

[00:07:36] I'm going high school reunion, our 10 year anniversary,

[00:07:39] technically 11 years.

[00:07:41] But COVID kind of fucked us a bit there.

[00:07:44] So.

[00:07:45] I think mine's coming up soon because.

[00:07:48] Yeah.

[00:07:49] Mine's next year because I graduated 2015.

[00:07:51] So mine's next year.

[00:07:53] So I'm going to be in the next year.

[00:07:55] I'm going to be in the next year.

[00:07:56] So I'm going to be in the next year.

[00:07:58] I don't know.

[00:07:59] I don't know.

[00:08:00] I don't know.

[00:08:01] I don't know.

[00:08:02] I haven't talked to anyone.

[00:08:03] Which why would I.

[00:08:05] True.

[00:08:06] So yeah,

[00:08:08] like the only people I would want to see I'm pretty certain like

[00:08:12] don't live in a state close.

[00:08:14] It would not come.

[00:08:15] So.

[00:08:16] There'd be no point in going.

[00:08:19] Yeah.

[00:08:20] I don't really talk to most of the people.

[00:08:21] I went to high school with you there,

[00:08:22] but like they still added me to the group.

[00:08:24] So I guess that means something.

[00:08:26] Yeah.

[00:08:27] I won't be surprised if I'm not at, I will.

[00:08:30] I won't be surprised if I'm not added.

[00:08:32] If I'm added,

[00:08:33] I will be surprised because I feel like I just did my own

[00:08:36] thing and.

[00:08:37] Have been doing my own thing since.

[00:08:40] To be fair. I did too though.

[00:08:41] I was like edgy teenager.

[00:08:43] When I was in high school.

[00:08:45] I was depressed.

[00:08:46] I mean, I was depressed too, but.

[00:08:48] Yeah.

[00:08:49] I was a little more.

[00:08:50] I was more.

[00:08:51] I was a little.

[00:08:52] I mean.

[00:08:53] Different reasons.

[00:08:54] Different reasons.

[00:08:55] I was depressed because I just fucking hated school.

[00:08:58] I was depressed because the reason why I wouldn't go to

[00:09:01] the reunion is everyone there is a jerk to me.

[00:09:05] But your class was kind of.

[00:09:07] Bizarre.

[00:09:08] Not everyone, but the people I had to deal with sucked.

[00:09:11] So.

[00:09:13] I was like,

[00:09:14] I'm not a jerk to you.

[00:09:16] But the past is the past.

[00:09:18] I have a poo now.

[00:09:19] And I'm doing great.

[00:09:21] That's the best part of her name.

[00:09:23] And I just like say, I love poo.

[00:09:25] And people are like,

[00:09:26] Are you good?

[00:09:27] I was like.

[00:09:28] No, I'm not.

[00:09:29] No, I'm clearly not, but it's fine.

[00:09:32] Before we get into our topic.

[00:09:34] Did you see the wonderful thing Rick shared with you on

[00:09:36] the.

[00:09:37] On our servers, cursed image gallery.

[00:09:39] No, I didn't.

[00:09:40] You should look at it.

[00:09:41] It's amazing.

[00:09:42] I feel like I'm just not, I'm not going to lie.

[00:09:47] Sometimes people post things.

[00:09:49] I'm like, I've already seen it.

[00:09:51] Well, guess what?

[00:09:53] You've already seen it.

[00:09:55] I feel like I've actually posted that before.

[00:09:58] Oh my God.

[00:09:59] I forgot about the minion with big titties.

[00:10:02] What?

[00:10:03] Remember I was on Facebook market.

[00:10:06] I just scrolled up and saw it.

[00:10:09] I'm like,

[00:10:10] Oh my God.

[00:10:11] The wonders of the GNC podcast,

[00:10:13] network,

[00:10:14] discord server.

[00:10:15] You get to see all that.

[00:10:16] Wonderful.

[00:10:17] That big beam.

[00:10:19] Like that was one of the first things I posted.

[00:10:22] I haven't having a buildup of.

[00:10:25] Sorry.

[00:10:26] Gee, there's so many minions.

[00:10:28] I found so many minions.

[00:10:31] Good Lord.

[00:10:36] I don't know what to do.

[00:10:37] I'm like,

[00:10:38] Oh,

[00:10:39] Oh,

[00:10:40] Oh,

[00:10:41] PlayStation.

[00:10:44] I need to know.

[00:10:45] Like I posted the big beam.

[00:10:47] The big beam.

[00:10:49] Big pain.

[00:10:50] Big pain.

[00:10:52] But,

[00:10:53] yeah.

[00:10:55] So anyways.

[00:10:56] Our topic for this episode.

[00:10:58] No.

[00:10:59] Alex is still dying from the last episode.

[00:11:02] I did go to a doctor because I was like,

[00:11:05] I've been coughing for two weeks straight.

[00:11:07] This probably isn't good.

[00:11:08] And they were like,

[00:11:09] nah,

[00:11:10] probably not.

[00:11:11] And they were like,

[00:11:12] you just have allergies,

[00:11:13] but they're super allergies.

[00:11:14] So take this medicine.

[00:11:15] It will make you stop coughing.

[00:11:16] And I said,

[00:11:17] thank you.

[00:11:18] I swear allergies are just getting worse and worse every year.

[00:11:21] They are.

[00:11:22] They are bad.

[00:11:23] It's bad.

[00:11:24] I hate it.

[00:11:25] I hate this.

[00:11:26] I'm almost like over it though at this point.

[00:11:28] I'm just glad I'm not.

[00:11:29] Well,

[00:11:30] I was really worried.

[00:11:31] I was really worried that I was allergic to poo because she's a long hair cat

[00:11:35] and I've never had a long hair cat.

[00:11:37] So I was actually very panicking that I was allergic to her,

[00:11:40] but I don't think it's that because my symptoms are going away and getting

[00:11:44] better.

[00:11:45] So I don't think I'm allergic to miss poo.

[00:11:47] Thank God.

[00:11:48] Or it's just exposure therapy.

[00:11:50] All right.

[00:11:51] I mean,

[00:11:52] it could be a little bit of that too,

[00:11:53] but as long as I'm feeling better and can breathe again,

[00:11:55] we're good.

[00:11:56] Yeah.

[00:11:58] So our topic for this episode,

[00:12:00] we're doing another movie review because it's been a,

[00:12:03] that's the thing we're doing this year, I guess.

[00:12:05] Yes.

[00:12:06] So why not?

[00:12:08] Well,

[00:12:09] there's video game movies coming out,

[00:12:11] so we might as well talk about them.

[00:12:13] They've been kind of decent lately.

[00:12:16] Yeah.

[00:12:17] So let's hope this one keeps on trend.

[00:12:21] Yeah.

[00:12:22] Intro theme song.

[00:12:23] So we watched,

[00:12:27] Bill did not go along with that at all.

[00:12:29] I'm very disappointed.

[00:12:30] Bill,

[00:12:31] you think of the rest of the movie theme song,

[00:12:33] movie review theme song.

[00:12:34] Go.

[00:12:35] No.

[00:12:36] Anyways.

[00:12:37] So we are.

[00:12:39] What do you expect at this point?

[00:12:41] I mean,

[00:12:42] really you're not even like picking up on the mic at this point.

[00:12:46] You asked for it.

[00:12:51] Oh,

[00:12:52] so we're kind of getting there.

[00:12:54] Yeah.

[00:12:55] I'm not even going to ask for it.

[00:12:58] So we're,

[00:12:59] we're covering the five nights at Freddy's movie.

[00:13:02] The what movie?

[00:13:03] The five nights at Freddy's.

[00:13:05] I want to stay four nights instead.

[00:13:07] Can I go four nights?

[00:13:08] Well,

[00:13:09] this movie let's be fair.

[00:13:10] This movie doesn't even acknowledge the five nights thing.

[00:13:13] Like at all.

[00:13:14] Yeah.

[00:13:15] But how are they going to?

[00:13:17] If they,

[00:13:18] so this,

[00:13:19] I'll say it now.

[00:13:21] This movie does a lot.

[00:13:22] Be really on par with the games,

[00:13:24] but there is a few things where it just fucking just doesn't care.

[00:13:27] Oh yeah.

[00:13:28] But I feel like a lot of the choices were in order to make the movie more

[00:13:33] fluid,

[00:13:34] I guess you could say.

[00:13:36] But no,

[00:13:37] I get you.

[00:13:38] Yeah.

[00:13:39] So yeah.

[00:13:40] Five nights at Freddy's.

[00:13:41] The movie.

[00:13:42] This,

[00:13:43] this movie has been,

[00:13:45] well had been a,

[00:13:47] a thing that was floating around for years.

[00:13:51] Like I think production wise,

[00:13:53] it start it like initially was like 2015 Warner brothers teased it.

[00:13:58] And then they gave up on it.

[00:13:59] And then it got picked up by Blumhouse productions.

[00:14:03] Blum.

[00:14:05] Yeah.

[00:14:07] And it was in production for quite a while.

[00:14:12] And it ended up coming out.

[00:14:14] And as of right now.

[00:14:16] It had a $20 million budget.

[00:14:18] It shows.

[00:14:19] But they did,

[00:14:20] they did decent with what they had.

[00:14:23] I mean for 20 million, they did a pretty good job.

[00:14:26] I mean,

[00:14:27] I think they did.

[00:14:28] There's not a lot of worse movies.

[00:14:31] Let's just say that I've seen so many worse.

[00:14:34] When I say it shows, I mean, you can,

[00:14:36] I don't mean that in a bad way.

[00:14:38] I mean that more in like,

[00:14:39] if you're like someone who pays attention to stuff,

[00:14:42] you can tell very easily that this movie was only filmed in like,

[00:14:46] maybe like five locations.

[00:14:48] Yeah.

[00:14:49] Yeah.

[00:14:50] Which is fine because that's really all you need.

[00:14:52] What that does mean though,

[00:14:54] is they kept the budget low and the movie made 297.2 million.

[00:15:00] So it was a financial advancement.

[00:15:03] Yeah.

[00:15:04] No, there's definitely got to be a sequel.

[00:15:06] Yeah.

[00:15:07] I think they're already have confirmed it because one of the

[00:15:10] actors who was Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo movies,

[00:15:17] Matthew Willard.

[00:15:20] Yeah.

[00:15:21] Matthew Lue, who's also the voice of Shaggy.

[00:15:22] Yes.

[00:15:23] He went on to voice all the other ones.

[00:15:26] He I believe I saw something about him confirming like,

[00:15:30] yes, he'll be in future movies.

[00:15:32] Like there will be future.

[00:15:34] I hope so considering who he plays in the movie.

[00:15:37] But yeah,

[00:15:38] I will say so the movie was co-written and produced by Scott

[00:15:44] Gotham himself,

[00:15:45] which is very apparent because this movie is very accurate in a lot of

[00:15:49] ways to the games.

[00:15:50] Yeah.

[00:15:51] It's also the story is a little,

[00:15:56] so it's not bad,

[00:16:00] but it is a little far fetched at times in my opinion.

[00:16:04] Yeah.

[00:16:05] But I mean, Bill,

[00:16:07] it's about,

[00:16:08] I think the thing is,

[00:16:10] is you have to look at it in the perspective.

[00:16:12] Like this is a movie about a Chuck E.

[00:16:15] Cheese S restaurant where the animatronics are haunted.

[00:16:19] It's in there alive.

[00:16:21] Like it's, it's Chuck E.

[00:16:22] Cheese from hell.

[00:16:23] Yes.

[00:16:24] Yes.

[00:16:25] The thing is like this series has some of the most in-depth and

[00:16:31] crazy lore.

[00:16:32] I,

[00:16:33] I,

[00:16:34] for such a simple game series when you actually look at the

[00:16:38] gameplay.

[00:16:39] I mean like it's,

[00:16:40] it has book series that has multiple games that have multiple

[00:16:45] different rabbit holes.

[00:16:47] Like there's side games too,

[00:16:49] like in there and a lot of them are filled with lore and stuff.

[00:16:52] And it's,

[00:16:53] it's kind of crazy.

[00:16:54] Like I feel like it would be good to touch on.

[00:16:56] Like it's kind of crazy that this game started out as like a kind

[00:17:00] of a fuck you because people thought his character designs looked like

[00:17:04] animatronics and he just decided to go with it.

[00:17:07] It looked like creepy animatronics.

[00:17:09] Yeah. Like in his former games and he kind of just was like,

[00:17:12] all right, fine. I'm making a game about that.

[00:17:14] Also took off.

[00:17:16] Also the first five minutes of Freddy's failed to meet its

[00:17:19] Kickstarter goal.

[00:17:20] That's another thing people forget.

[00:17:22] Yeah.

[00:17:23] But it was because of like creators on YouTube who were,

[00:17:26] you know,

[00:17:27] streaming it,

[00:17:28] doing playthroughs like Markiplier and Game Theorists guy.

[00:17:32] Like,

[00:17:33] Speaking of speaking of Markiplier,

[00:17:35] you know he was supposed to be in this movie, right?

[00:17:37] Yeah. I think he,

[00:17:39] He was supposed to be the security guard that gets murdered at the start.

[00:17:43] Well, cause I know the Game Theorists,

[00:17:45] he was in it cause he played the restaurant.

[00:17:48] Matt Pat.

[00:17:49] So Matt Pat shows up as a waiter at one point.

[00:17:53] And the second he shows up,

[00:17:55] he's like, Oh, it's Matt Pat. Hi. How are you doing, bud?

[00:17:58] It was cute. It was honestly really nice though.

[00:18:02] Even that they tried to get like Markiplier and stuff,

[00:18:05] because really like they did help make the series what it is today.

[00:18:10] I mean, what the fuck did you just do?

[00:18:12] I just punched my keyboard. Just keep going.

[00:18:14] Why would you do that?

[00:18:16] It was a nice, I liked it.

[00:18:18] I thought it was a really nice touch that they did that because like,

[00:18:21] I mean, they really did help make his game into what it is.

[00:18:25] I'm what it became, you know?

[00:18:27] Well, yeah, of course they were going to actually go out of the way.

[00:18:30] They also got Corey Williams, also known as Corey X Kenshin,

[00:18:35] who's another American YouTuber who's pretty well-known for FNAF.

[00:18:40] I think, I don't watch him, so I don't really know.

[00:18:43] He played the taxi driver.

[00:18:46] You know, not cool man.

[00:18:48] I really enjoyed the taxi driver.

[00:18:51] I do think though, one thing that's cool to touch on is just the actors

[00:18:56] who were hired for this too, or like who auditioned for it.

[00:18:59] I mean, like Josh Hutchinson.

[00:19:01] I mean a lot of people know him from the meme.

[00:19:03] The do-do-do-do-do.

[00:19:05] The one where it's...

[00:19:07] Have you seen, you haven't ever seen that?

[00:19:09] I don't follow internet bullshit these days.

[00:19:13] You've never seen the Josh, well maybe you just don't realize who it is.

[00:19:16] Like you've been scrolling through a video and then suddenly it just goes

[00:19:19] do-do-do-do-do and it's Josh Hutchinson's face.

[00:19:23] No, see I...

[00:19:24] Alright, I'll be sending everyone.

[00:19:26] Spam that to Bill.

[00:19:27] Spam it to Bill.

[00:19:28] This is going to date my age.

[00:19:30] I noticed him right away for another reason.

[00:19:33] What?

[00:19:35] He popped up on screen and went, hey, it's the Zathora kid.

[00:19:38] Oh, see I know him more from the actor in The Hunger Games.

[00:19:45] That's more what I recognize him from.

[00:19:47] I mean, I remember Zathora but like for me it was The Hunger Games is when I...

[00:19:51] See, I remember Zathora because he played the douchebag kid brother in that movie

[00:19:58] and then also the girl from Twilight was in that movie as well.

[00:20:01] Yes, Bella Swan.

[00:20:03] Before that though.

[00:20:04] Yes.

[00:20:05] It is funny looking back on that.

[00:20:07] I remember him more from Hunger Games just because I watched those pretty...

[00:20:13] I watched all of them so that's my reminder but I still can't believe Scooby-Doo.

[00:20:18] Shaggy.

[00:20:19] The second Matthew Willard appeared I'm just like, oh it's fucking Shaggy.

[00:20:25] Great.

[00:20:26] I think they did a great job.

[00:20:28] It was cool to see him in like...

[00:20:30] I mean, in all honesty I've only ever seen him as Shaggy

[00:20:33] so it was cool to see him as not Shaggy.

[00:20:36] I also know him as he's in Wing Commander.

[00:20:39] Shout out to that boring ass movie.

[00:20:42] Sorry Dad, I know you like it.

[00:20:44] It's a movie that Dad likes and I tried watching it and I was like this is boring.

[00:20:48] Yeah.

[00:20:49] Sorry Dad.

[00:20:50] I've never seen it and I probably won't watch it after Bill's review.

[00:20:54] It's based off a video game let's just say that we might have covered for 3DO recently

[00:20:58] and that's why this is crushed in my memory.

[00:21:01] Ah, okay.

[00:21:03] But yeah, I watched it.

[00:21:04] I was like, it's fine.

[00:21:05] It's just boring.

[00:21:07] Yes.

[00:21:08] That's my review of Wing Commander which apparently I'm going to have to review for 3DO pretty soon.

[00:21:11] That was your TED talk.

[00:21:13] Congratulations.

[00:21:15] You are now a TEDster.

[00:21:17] So the plot of this film is essentially it kind of fall...

[00:21:21] It loosely follows the events of Five Nights One.

[00:21:25] Yes.

[00:21:26] Events in quotations because they obviously play around with stuff.

[00:21:30] Oh yeah.

[00:21:31] Because like Josh Hutchinson plays Mike Schmidt.

[00:21:35] Yep.

[00:21:36] Who is the...

[00:21:37] And he gets fired for assaulting a man in a mall.

[00:21:41] Well, to be fair, I don't blame him entirely with his PTSD.

[00:21:46] Dad and the fact that the parent was the fucking sketchiest parent I've ever seen.

[00:21:51] Yeah.

[00:21:52] I want to know more about the deep lore of the yogurt girl though.

[00:21:56] I know.

[00:21:57] She didn't get enough character building.

[00:21:59] She had so much charm in that one scene and then just disappeared.

[00:22:02] Never to be seen again.

[00:22:05] He wasn't that important, Bill.

[00:22:07] I'm sorry.

[00:22:08] I know.

[00:22:09] There's a lot of characters in this movie that aren't very important.

[00:22:13] They're the supporting roles.

[00:22:15] They support the main cast.

[00:22:17] No, they're just there to get killed at one point or another.

[00:22:21] Well, some of them, yes.

[00:22:23] For a horror movie, I will say that the violence in this movie is very tame.

[00:22:28] Yeah, I didn't think it was anything crazy.

[00:22:30] I mean, I feel like the only scene where I was like, whoa, was when later on someone gets chopped.

[00:22:36] Oh yeah.

[00:22:38] That was the only scene where I was like, I had to rewind it because I was like, I also actually did the same thing because I was like, is she fucking dead?

[00:22:50] I was like, no, she was very dead.

[00:22:52] Yes. Yes, she was.

[00:22:53] Yes.

[00:22:54] By the way, we're spoiling everything in this movie.

[00:22:56] We are.

[00:22:57] I mean, the movie's been out since October, so like, I'm sorry.

[00:23:01] Well, still give a spoiler thing for anyone who hasn't seen it.

[00:23:04] You should probably put that in the beginning.

[00:23:06] Spoiler warning.

[00:23:08] Well, it's GNC.

[00:23:09] We spoil everything on this show.

[00:23:11] Put it in the description.

[00:23:13] At least give them something.

[00:23:15] But anyways, we should get back on track of the plot because we kind of keep losing track.

[00:23:20] But I mean, that's just how we are.

[00:23:22] It's not a very tight plot.

[00:23:24] I mean, it's understandable.

[00:23:26] But you follow Mike.

[00:23:27] He gets fired from his job.

[00:23:29] He goes to the job counselor to this guy named Steve and Steve offers him a job as the night guard at the pizzeria.

[00:23:38] And he's reluctant to do it because I mean, like he has a younger sister who's taken care of.

[00:23:44] I feel like in the beginning too, it wasn't very clear if like he was his daughter or his sister, but it turned out being his sister.

[00:23:51] But he ends up taking the job because his aunt, which is she dead?

[00:23:56] Is this aunt dead?

[00:23:57] Oh, she's extremely dead.

[00:23:59] She is.

[00:24:00] I wasn't sure if she just got knocked unconscious.

[00:24:03] Yeah, Golden Freddy just knocked her unconscious there.

[00:24:07] Oh, I wasn't sure completely.

[00:24:09] But yeah, so their bitchy aunt was like, I'm taking custody because you keep losing your jobs and are insane.

[00:24:17] He's like, yeah, but he also makes the best remark where he flat out says I am not fit to raise a child, but I don't want her to have him because she doesn't actually care.

[00:24:27] She just wants to collect a check from the government.

[00:24:29] Yeah, which is a real thing.

[00:24:32] Actually, in reality, that is a common thing that happens and it's kind of fucked up.

[00:24:35] No, I bet.

[00:24:38] I mean, there's people who do like foster care who are doing it just for the business, like to get money from it.

[00:24:45] It's crazy, which sucks.

[00:24:48] But off topic.

[00:24:49] But anyways, he ends up taking the job because in the end, like in the end, it turns out it's like, all right, if he doesn't have a job, he can't keep custody of her.

[00:24:59] He can't pay the bill.

[00:25:00] So he's like, OK, I'm going to do the job.

[00:25:02] And he has a babysitter who is watching his sister.

[00:25:05] Really wants and really wants to marry him.

[00:25:08] Really fucking bizarre.

[00:25:10] Well, because like what else did you get from that scene where he walks in and she's staring at the wedding ring infomercial?

[00:25:17] She's like, I wish someone would put a ring on my hand looking at him.

[00:25:22] And I'm just like, what a weird set piece.

[00:25:25] And he's like, no, you're just the babysitter.

[00:25:28] No, he was like, I hate everything in life.

[00:25:32] Yeah, I'm just trying to live.

[00:25:35] Yeah.

[00:25:37] So he works the first night and it's nothing really happens.

[00:25:41] Well, it's like the actual first night.

[00:25:43] Yeah.

[00:25:44] You just get a call on the phone.

[00:25:45] It's not phone guy, though.

[00:25:46] It's the counselor guy.

[00:25:49] I miss phone guy.

[00:25:51] They should have had fun.

[00:25:52] I think theoretically phone guy was the security guard who was really murdered at the start of the film.

[00:26:00] Yes, technically phone guy.

[00:26:03] But not for this film.

[00:26:06] No, no, no.

[00:26:07] It was supposed to be Markie.

[00:26:09] But it was supposed to be Markie.

[00:26:12] But what happens on his first night is he ends up falling asleep.

[00:26:16] Well, because he takes so because I think we hinted at it.

[00:26:20] He has like some trauma issues and you kind of find out more about the trauma issues as it goes on.

[00:26:26] But he has constant dreams of what he dreams like every night.

[00:26:33] He dreams of like his brother, unfortunate.

[00:26:35] His younger brother was kidnapped at a young age and he kind of saw it happened and it was very traumatic for him.

[00:26:43] So he kind of dreams of it every night.

[00:26:45] But this time when he dreams of it, it turns into a bunch of other kids are suddenly there.

[00:26:53] And he kind of approaches them and then they flee.

[00:26:57] They run away and you find out who the redhead is.

[00:27:00] And it only happens the children only appear when he's having a dream at the at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza place.

[00:27:08] Also, did you notice that the the only jump scares in this movie are the fucking balloon boy scenes?

[00:27:15] Yeah, and they're wonderful every time.

[00:27:18] Well, I love how his response is just to turn it around.

[00:27:21] He just turns it around.

[00:27:23] I also favorite scene at the end is when the taxi scene where balloon boy comes back in the fuck.

[00:27:29] Yeah, and he's like, yeah, but he I forget, does he meet Vanessa on the first night?

[00:27:38] No, I think he meets her the next night because it ends up leading so far.

[00:27:48] I think he meets her the next night because it ends up leading.

[00:27:55] So the next day, his aunt, she hired a gang of vandals to go and basically trash the place to try and get him fired.

[00:28:05] You remember first that the vandals are actually like the head vandal is this was her name, Jeff.

[00:28:13] And his sister was actually the babysitter and she was hired essentially to snoop around the house and find anything incriminating, which she found nothing.

[00:28:22] Yeah.

[00:28:23] And that's when they were like, she's like, OK, now you need to destroy the place.

[00:28:27] Also, the fucking lawyer who's like, I shouldn't be here.

[00:28:31] The lawyer honestly is one of the best characters in the movie.

[00:28:35] He is so amazing.

[00:28:37] He's so useless.

[00:28:38] I love when he tries to jump over the fucking counter when they're like, OK, we'll just murder him.

[00:28:42] He's like, what?

[00:28:44] Also, that was the scene with Matt Pat where he's all like, so what do you folks have?

[00:28:48] And then they're like, we're not.

[00:28:49] We're just here to talk.

[00:28:50] He's like, well, that's not very fun.

[00:28:52] Fun.

[00:28:53] That was great.

[00:28:55] I was like, he had way too much fun with that one.

[00:28:57] His only scene in the movie.

[00:28:59] Yeah, sure.

[00:29:01] He should have fun.

[00:29:05] Because he was he was like just so positive and everyone else there was so fucking miserable.

[00:29:09] It was like, wow, this is hilarious.

[00:29:12] Yeah.

[00:29:14] But yeah, so they make a plot for Mike to lose his job so that the bitch aunt can get custody of Abby Mike.

[00:29:22] You can also tell that the sister Max isn't really into it, but she's kind of just forced along for the ride.

[00:29:29] Ride. Yeah, which feel a little bit.

[00:29:32] I mean, because she obviously likes Mike a little bit, you know, because she's like, well, she's a ring on it.

[00:29:39] It's such a weird scene.

[00:29:41] Yeah.

[00:29:42] Yeah.

[00:29:44] But yeah, so they end up breaking in because the doors are a lot of first.

[00:29:51] Well, so first that's when you meet Vanessa the next day.

[00:29:55] So they don't go in until the next day.

[00:29:57] They meet at Mike's next shift.

[00:29:59] That's when he meets Vanessa, who comes in and starts explaining a lot about the building and talks about, you know, the children that were murdered there, a.k.a.

[00:30:08] The Children's Dream.

[00:30:12] But and he's kind of just like he's like he instantly knows like she knows a lot more and she's not telling him about it.

[00:30:19] But you can't really force her.

[00:30:21] So she also turns on the animatronics for the first time.

[00:30:26] Yes, even though they could have came to life at any other point.

[00:30:35] But after that, and he ends up going through the night.

[00:30:39] I don't know if he has another dream or if it shows the as a dream, but he ends up closing the building.

[00:30:44] And that's when the next day the group breaks in the fandols break in and the animatronics are not happy about that.

[00:30:57] No, they die.

[00:31:00] She because Cupcake, yeah, that cupcake has no personality in the games at all.

[00:31:06] But in this movie, it's the most fucking deadly thing in the fucking.

[00:31:09] Yeah. Well, I think it does in like other games.

[00:31:11] I don't know if the first game, but I think in later games it does get more of a life to its own.

[00:31:16] I don't remember. I know in the first game, though, it's just a problem.

[00:31:20] Yeah. But yeah, this thing, it's fucking mental, which is funny, though, because it's not even it's not even graphic like at all.

[00:31:28] Like, yeah, like the most graphic scene is literally the the chump.

[00:31:34] Well, we'll get to the chop in a second because we have to talk about how the animatronics like just sneak around like fucking Bonnie chilling in the fucking closet.

[00:31:42] But the guys hiding in Freddie and Foxy doing stuff like I like Foxy's little like doo doo doo doo doo.

[00:31:51] He walks around. I will say the animatronics themselves actually look really great.

[00:31:56] Like, I feel like they do look very much.

[00:31:58] I mean, like the animatronic they're supposed to be.

[00:32:01] But also like realistic, like it's very real.

[00:32:05] Like they feel like an animatronic, like a Chuck E. Cheese animatronic.

[00:32:08] Like so I think they did a really good job with those and bringing them to life.

[00:32:13] Yeah, that's definitely where the majority of the budget went for the film.

[00:32:16] Oh, yeah. But I mean, like even the pizza place, they made the whole set for that.

[00:32:22] So they did put I'd say like the pizza place set slash animatronics is the majority of where the budget went.

[00:32:31] But they all die. All the manuals.

[00:32:35] The saddest one, though, is like Max isn't involved with like any of the actual stuff.

[00:32:40] Yeah. So it's like three vandals.

[00:32:42] They go in. It's her brother and then two other guys and they're breaking everything.

[00:32:47] They slowly get killed off by each one.

[00:32:49] And then she's kind of waiting in the car like, what the hell?

[00:32:52] Like it's been a while I'm going to go check and see.

[00:32:54] And then if she only waited in the car, if only because one of the ghost children,

[00:33:01] because they can somehow appear in their human form.

[00:33:04] I still don't understand that ghost.

[00:33:08] I don't understand that part really.

[00:33:11] That still confuses me a little bit.

[00:33:14] The little blonde boy that we keep seeing in like Mike's little flashbacks,

[00:33:19] he leads her down like a corridor.

[00:33:23] I think he's Golden Freddy.

[00:33:25] He is because he has an animatronic form later on.

[00:33:28] That's why I don't understand how he appears human.

[00:33:31] Well, Golden Freddy, I remember, is the glitchy one too.

[00:33:34] Like he's the one that's not as normal as the other ones.

[00:33:38] True. Well, the other kids appear in their human forms as well.

[00:33:42] Both in the dreams. Really?

[00:33:46] I don't think they ever appear like Golden.

[00:33:48] I'd have to re-watch.

[00:33:49] I think the Foxy one appeared briefly, but I might be misremembering it.

[00:33:55] Maybe. I can't remember either.

[00:33:57] But yeah, he kind of lures her into the building and then...

[00:34:01] And she does the stupid thing where she sees the animatronic there

[00:34:04] and she sees the mouth wider.

[00:34:06] With its mouth open.

[00:34:07] And she goes, oh, I'm going to go take a little peek.

[00:34:09] And of course, the springlocks engage and she gets just bisected in half, basically.

[00:34:14] Yeah, like she just cut in half and then...

[00:34:17] And you don't even see it.

[00:34:20] You just see the silhouette and you literally just see her torso just go floop off in the back.

[00:34:25] It is like the most graphic scene in the movie, but it's so fucking...

[00:34:30] Because it's a silhouette, it's more just kind of like, okay, that happened.

[00:34:34] Okay, she dead. She cut in half.

[00:34:37] And then I think the thing that...

[00:34:39] I remember after the scene, because after that, Mike goes in for his next shift

[00:34:45] and he's calling Max to come babysit.

[00:34:49] And she's not answering, so he's like, shit, I need to take...

[00:34:53] He ends up taking Abby to work.

[00:34:56] And Abby ends up sleeping, staying the night there.

[00:35:00] But when they first came in, I was like, oh my God, they're going to find the bodies?

[00:35:04] And then they didn't find them. And I was like, okay, where are the bodies?

[00:35:07] But it comes back later.

[00:35:09] But I was very confused. I was like, where did the bodies go?

[00:35:12] Because when they came in, the whole place was trashed.

[00:35:15] Well, because we forgot about the earlier scene where Vanessa tells him,

[00:35:18] how did you fall asleep?

[00:35:20] Well, she found his sleeping pills because he left them there like an idiot.

[00:35:23] And she was like, what is these?

[00:35:25] It's like you can't fall asleep on the job.

[00:35:28] Well, because she ends up coming to the house the day before

[00:35:32] because she knew that someone broke in.

[00:35:36] And she was like, why didn't you lock the door?

[00:35:40] You can't do this, blah, blah, blah, blah.

[00:35:42] So I don't know if she hid the bodies or something.

[00:35:45] Well, we find them. They're in the room.

[00:35:47] Well, yeah, yeah.

[00:35:48] Well, no, no, but they didn't all get killed in that room.

[00:35:51] They all got put there.

[00:35:53] Oh, true.

[00:35:54] Yeah.

[00:35:55] But she ends up coming over and that's when Abby gets to me and go, who's that?

[00:36:01] And that's my favorite line in the movie.

[00:36:04] It was like she goes, oh, I didn't know you had a daughter and she's just you

[00:36:09] hear what's the what's the sister's name?

[00:36:12] I forget.

[00:36:13] And you hear Abby go, you.

[00:36:15] Yeah.

[00:36:17] And I'm just like, yeah, that's that's appropriate.

[00:36:20] Yeah. So they they go.

[00:36:28] So he has to take take her to the restaurant.

[00:36:33] And that's when they end up.

[00:36:35] Well, so Abby that night ends up waking up in the middle of the night.

[00:36:40] Mike's taking his sleeping pills.

[00:36:42] Well, first you got to remember, though, he goes around and cleans up

[00:36:45] the restaurant, like fixing everything.

[00:36:49] And then Abby wakes up.

[00:36:52] She ends up wandering outside.

[00:36:54] I think it might be the little rabbit.

[00:36:56] No, the Golden Friday kid also kind of lures her out there and she ends

[00:37:00] up meeting the animatronics and she ends up showing them, like showing Mike,

[00:37:04] like, hey, they're they're alive.

[00:37:07] And he's that scene was really because, like, he runs at Freddie with

[00:37:12] the chair and I thought this was it.

[00:37:14] And then, like, Freddie just kind of gives him this look.

[00:37:16] And I'm like, oh, that's weird.

[00:37:19] Yeah. Like they're not so threatening at this point.

[00:37:23] Well, because right now they're kind of in their own, you know,

[00:37:27] set, but they also keep mentioning the yellow rabbit, which we learn about later on.

[00:37:35] But on the next night, I think that's when Vanessa ends up coming over and like

[00:37:42] seeing that Abby is there.

[00:37:44] And but that's also when Abby gets injured.

[00:37:48] Because of the the problem with Bonnie's guitar tends to short out every now and then.

[00:37:54] So the next.

[00:37:59] Well, she also tells Josh there that not Josh, Mike, not just like funny.

[00:38:08] I just think he did.

[00:38:13] It's funny how, like, the next scene, like, Mike, he she basically tells him

[00:38:18] if you ever bring her there again, I will shoot you on the site, which I'm like,

[00:38:21] wow, that's a that's a stark.

[00:38:23] Yeah. Well, but the thing is that she knows what will happen if she keeps going there.

[00:38:29] He also confronted her about the that she knows more than she's letting on because

[00:38:37] he finds that back room with the the unused costume animatronic suit.

[00:38:42] Yeah, like she was told.

[00:38:44] Yeah, she tells them about the spring locks.

[00:38:46] Now they're dangerous like that, which is foreshadowing.

[00:38:49] Yes.

[00:38:52] But yeah, so that whole scene gets mentioned.

[00:38:55] But after that, then we get the film kind of reaches its climax next.

[00:39:01] Well, well, it's the next morning after like the injury, like he ends up getting Jane to babysit

[00:39:09] because he doesn't want to bring Abby back there, especially after Vanessa threatened to kill him.

[00:39:15] But he also knows that there's something just not right about what's going on.

[00:39:20] But he ends up, you know, going home, going to the pizzeria.

[00:39:25] Abby's really upset.

[00:39:28] But he ends up taking the pills and having a dream again.

[00:39:31] And in the dream, he tries to make a deal with them that he wants to know where Garrett is.

[00:39:39] And they basically are like, all right, you can have Garrett.

[00:39:42] But in exchange, we get Abby.

[00:39:44] And initially, Mike accepts and then he goes, wait a minute.

[00:39:49] This is a really bad idea.

[00:39:50] And then they try and kill him.

[00:39:53] Yeah. And we get to see the wonderful opening scene with them trying to shove him in the suit.

[00:39:58] Oh, yeah. Like that's what happened to the first security guard who was supposed to be Markiplier.

[00:40:03] Which is a reference to the game where if you game over, your fate is you get shoved in a suit.

[00:40:08] Yes, a spring lock shoot.

[00:40:11] But he ends up escaping.

[00:40:13] And then when he does escape, that's when he sees the bodies.

[00:40:18] Yeah. And Max looks very preserved for being sitting there for like probably a couple of days.

[00:40:24] Yeah. Oh, I mean, all of the bodies.

[00:40:28] Well, the other guys.

[00:40:29] The original security guard too.

[00:40:33] Yeah. Yeah. He was over there too.

[00:40:38] After that. Well, at the same time, well, he is trying to survive.

[00:40:45] Well, the next thing we see is he gets they show him breaking out a door and then it kind of cuts to a.

[00:40:52] Foxy. It's like Foxy corners him and tries to like it's like the same scene of like when he's escaping through the door and like Foxy ends up killing like the first guy.

[00:41:02] And it's like the same thing.

[00:41:03] And you're like, oh, it's what he gets.

[00:41:05] But he gets through the door this time and it kind of cuts and we don't see what happens.

[00:41:09] I think he like passes out because Vanessa ends up fixing him up.

[00:41:12] Yeah. And then I like medical situations.

[00:41:16] But at the same time, that's when Golden Freddy, the kid possessing Golden Freddy, goes to Abby Mike's house where he murders the aunt.

[00:41:30] Well, there's a great scene where the aunt tries to get Abby to say something. Not Abby.

[00:41:36] Yeah, Abby. Right. Yeah.

[00:41:38] Right. Yeah, Abby tries to get her to come out and she won't.

[00:41:41] So she's like, fine, I don't really care.

[00:41:43] And she's just kind of watching TV and you just all of a sudden see Golden Freddy in the background slowly getting closer and you're just like, oh, this lady is not going to do good.

[00:41:53] But he and then you just hear the sound of her death, essentially.

[00:41:58] Yeah. You know, this scene is unintentionally really funny.

[00:42:02] But like when she walks by and sees her aunt is dead on the floor, she's like, is she OK?

[00:42:06] And Golden Freddy goes, she's she's just sleeping, like clearly implying she's dead.

[00:42:12] And Abby's response is literally just, OK, it doesn't give us doesn't give us.

[00:42:17] Now he's like, I don't fucking care.

[00:42:20] She couldn't stand her. So it's just funny how little she cares.

[00:42:23] She's like, oh, OK. And that's when they end up going to the taxi.

[00:42:32] They take a taxi to the place and that's where you see the great taxi driver scene where he's like, not cool, not cool.

[00:42:37] Yeah. Well, because the whole taxi just goes, it's like what?

[00:42:42] Yeah. But again, in the meantime, they're on their way to find Freddy Fazbear's at the same time.

[00:42:51] That's when Mike kind of wakes up and Vanessa is treating his injuries.

[00:42:55] And that's when she reveals that she's the daughter of William Afton, who is the serial killer, purple guy, but also who is the who was the career counselor as well.

[00:43:10] Well, we don't know that yet.

[00:43:13] Well, yeah, but that's what it reveals in that she ends up telling him the story of like, OK, all the kids that died, they died there and he her father hid their bodies in the animatronics.

[00:43:28] So it's not just that their spirits are possessing them.

[00:43:32] Which is frightening.

[00:43:39] But when they are in there, their souls are somehow being controlled, though, by the yellow rabbit who happens to be William Afton.

[00:43:50] Which is a bit of playing around with continuity because technically that doesn't get revealed to Five Nights at Freddy's 3.

[00:43:56] Yes, but they had to do it for the movie, Bill.

[00:44:01] But the reason why and then she also reveals the reason why that they are like they want Abby is because they want to kill Abby and put her in the suit so she can play with them forever.

[00:44:12] And basically for the killings to continue because her father basically can't control himself and must kill children, which is terrible.

[00:44:24] There's also the scene where she gives she basically tells them that they they'll short out if they get hit by an electric shock.

[00:44:31] So she gives him like one of her tasers, essentially.

[00:44:35] Yeah, but she doesn't want to go with him because she's afraid of her father, which is really understandable.

[00:44:40] But in the end, she actually ends up coming when there's that final scene of like, OK, I got to save my sister.

[00:44:46] She does end up coming to try and stop her father.

[00:44:51] But unfortunately, I will say that is one of the most like kind of freaky scenes, though, because as they're going like as Mike and Abby are trying to escape, there's multiple scenes where Mike like tases all the robots and like very slowly takes each one of them out.

[00:45:08] Yep. And eventually, spring spring trap makes his appearance, which is the yellow rabbit.

[00:45:16] And he tries tasing him and it does nothing because it then reveals, oh, it's a person.

[00:45:22] It's an actual living person.

[00:45:24] Yeah, it's not. It's Shaggy.

[00:45:27] Yeah, it is Shaggy.

[00:45:32] And that's when Vanessa comes in to kind of help him incapacitate him because like he was he Mike was easily defeated by William.

[00:45:45] Yeah, I will say that's like the creep.

[00:45:48] I feel like that's the creepiest scene is when he like stabs his own daughter.

[00:45:52] Oh yeah. Well, that and the scene where Abby is trying to hide from Foxy, who's like slowly approaching him.

[00:45:58] He's like, yeah.

[00:46:00] And she's like, please, I don't want to be put in a suit.

[00:46:04] Well, oh yeah, that's a creepy scene too of like when she's there and like when she's like just going along with Golden Freddy kid and the Golden Freddy kid is like bringing her to the room.

[00:46:14] He's like, come on, get in the suit, get in the suit.

[00:46:17] It'll be fun. And she's like, I don't want to do that.

[00:46:19] And then they're like, get in the suit.

[00:46:22] Yeah, and then Chica tries to force her in and she's like, what's wrong with Chica?

[00:46:26] I don't understand. Yeah, it was it was creepy because it starts out being like a fun little party and she's like, yeah, this is fun.

[00:46:33] And then it turns into getting the suit.

[00:46:36] Yeah. Also, she hides in the ball pit.

[00:46:38] My whole thought was you there's like duty in there.

[00:46:41] Yeah.

[00:46:42] But at this end, like all of this too is coming back to you like all of them are being controlled by the yellow rabbit.

[00:46:48] And especially it always kept cutting back to like this wall of all these child drawings.

[00:46:54] And there's a drawing with the rabbit and they're all holding hands with the rabbit and the best way to communicate with them, like the whole movie is showing that Abby is like loves to draw and like kids.

[00:47:07] And it says like kids communicate best with their drawings.

[00:47:11] So she ends up communicating to the animatronic, the ghost kids animatronics by putting a new picture on the wall to show that like, hey, this rabbit, he killed you.

[00:47:22] Like he killed all of them.

[00:47:24] Like he's the one you should be attacking.

[00:47:26] You shouldn't be attacking us, which ends up saving the day.

[00:47:31] And we get the most disturbing scene in the movie where the cupcake like bites into William Afton suit and it reveals the spring the spring locks inside which then proceed to slowly engage and basically like permanently trap William Afton in the suit forever.

[00:47:48] Yeah, which is a reference to how spring trap gets born in five nights at Freddy's three.

[00:47:53] Yeah, well that was basically like the birth of spring trap right we that's like what we saw I'm assuming.

[00:48:00] And he gets dragged away, which is yeah.

[00:48:05] Locked in a room, which actually makes sense with the storyline to which also I think kind of left it open for the story to continue as well, which is nice.

[00:48:17] There's also though that disturbing scene where like Abby's like, can we go back to see my friends and he might just kind of goes, No, no.

[00:48:26] And then we get the scene of Afton just in there like suffering and it's like, oh my.

[00:48:30] And then they just shut the door on him.

[00:48:32] But they end up escaping and they end up carrying Vanessa out of there.

[00:48:38] And Vanessa I think she was in a coma or something and went to the hospital.

[00:48:42] Yeah, we never get a resolution on that in this movie anyways.

[00:48:45] But they end up going to visit her at the hospital and basically he's like, just thank you.

[00:48:57] He's like, I know this wasn't easy for you and you were really scared but you like saved a lot of lives in the end.

[00:49:03] And I think also the last scene is like with William Afton is dying like he dies in that suit and then he kind of the same thing possesses the suit later on.

[00:49:14] Yeah, or at least in the sequels.

[00:49:17] Implication anyways.

[00:49:20] Yeah, it's a very abrupt end I will say.

[00:49:24] Sorry. No, yeah. I mean the movie was pretty quick.

[00:49:27] I mean it was only 109 minutes so I don't remember how much time it took.

[00:49:31] It was like an hour and an hour and a half.

[00:49:33] Like a little more than an hour and a half I would say.

[00:49:37] It goes quick. It's a very quick film I will say.

[00:49:41] I will say too like for the most part like I enjoyed it. I thought it was a good film.

[00:49:46] I mean like the thing is that like, I feel like if anyone looked at it in terms of like, isn't it critically acclaimed film?

[00:49:54] No, it's not going to be on but it was very much like for the fans of the series.

[00:49:59] That's the thing.

[00:50:00] That's what it was for and it did a great job of being for the fans.

[00:50:04] It is very much a movie that is meant for the fans of that franchise.

[00:50:09] Because I guarantee you like if you knew nothing about that series, you'd go in and watch this and be like what the fuck is this?

[00:50:17] What the hell did I just watch?

[00:50:19] And I mean maybe some people who you know were fans of the series also probably, you know, also probably the same.

[00:50:28] And there's definitely plot holes.

[00:50:31] I mean because like they never really tied up the loose ends of like, okay, what did they do with all the bodies?

[00:50:36] Yeah, like the aunt too.

[00:50:38] Yeah.

[00:50:39] Like how did they say?

[00:50:41] No one questioned that.

[00:50:43] The lawyer, like the lawyer, whatever happened to the lawyer?

[00:50:46] He'd do a lot more than he should have.

[00:50:48] Yeah.

[00:50:49] The lawyer was the best part of the movie I gotta say.

[00:50:52] The lawyer was great.

[00:50:54] He was so panicked.

[00:50:56] I'm looking at some of the reviews.

[00:51:01] Like I'm on Reddit.

[00:51:02] I'm on like a Reddit discussing film and like a lot of them are premixed, but also feel like this is a film discussion one.

[00:51:09] So maybe not the best.

[00:51:10] I mean, I think for the fans of the series, I thought it was great for them.

[00:51:15] You know, it's like the Mario Brothers movie to me.

[00:51:18] It was very much for the fans.

[00:51:20] But as are you talking about the animated one or the terrible one?

[00:51:24] The animated one.

[00:51:25] You need to specify, Bill.

[00:51:27] You need to specify because that was not for the fans.

[00:51:30] That was for no one.

[00:51:32] The actors didn't even like working in that movie.

[00:51:36] OK, fine.

[00:51:37] The Mario movie.

[00:51:39] Oh, Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 32 percent, but then the audience scores an 87 percent.

[00:51:45] The Rotten Tomatoes is a joke of a website.

[00:51:48] No, I know.

[00:51:49] I know.

[00:51:50] But also, like, I mean, I feel like that kind of describes it in general.

[00:51:52] I mean, I think the

[00:51:54] The

[00:51:57] reviewer wise, like they didn't get it because they probably weren't fans of the series.

[00:52:02] They they probably assigned like most things.

[00:52:05] They assigned people who have no fucking idea and they watched it at face value.

[00:52:09] Yeah.

[00:52:10] And I mean, I actually really like this review.

[00:52:13] It says it it captures the spirit of the games like it may not be perfect to the lore, the source material.

[00:52:21] But for the most part, the whole spirit, the soul, the like storylines.

[00:52:26] I feel like it did a really great job for the fans.

[00:52:29] You know, as an adaption, I thought it was really good as a movie itself.

[00:52:34] I was kind of like, it's fine.

[00:52:36] It's kind of a mess, though.

[00:52:38] I'm not going to lie.

[00:52:40] I mean, no, I thought it was fine.

[00:52:44] I didn't think it was bad.

[00:52:46] I thought it was like a mess doesn't mean bad.

[00:52:48] I'm not saying it's not a it's not a perfectly put together film by any means.

[00:52:52] No, it's definitely not perfect.

[00:52:54] But like if I was to watch it again around Halloween, yeah, I would.

[00:52:58] Would you?

[00:53:00] Maybe it's kind of it feels like a one and done her for me, to be honest, in a lot of ways.

[00:53:06] I feel like I'd probably watch it again.

[00:53:08] Like if a sequel came out, I'd watch it again to watch the sequel.

[00:53:12] Maybe in that case, I would watch a sequel.

[00:53:14] I would.

[00:53:15] I guess we did that.

[00:53:16] Would you watch a sequel?

[00:53:17] I would watch a sequel.

[00:53:19] OK, so you like to watch the next one?

[00:53:21] Well, I'd like to see if they improve.

[00:53:23] Because usually they do in these cases.

[00:53:29] But yeah, I'd say watch it just if you don't.

[00:53:39] My thing is if you don't like Five Nights at Freddy's and you've never been a fan,

[00:53:43] you're not going to like the movie.

[00:53:45] It's just one of those things.

[00:53:50] As someone who's a casual fan, doesn't really love the games, but doesn't hate them either.

[00:53:56] I thought the movie was fine.

[00:53:58] Yeah, I thought it was fine.

[00:54:02] I thought for what it was, you know, I think that it was also probably too like a test run to kind of see.

[00:54:10] Because there was development problems, you know, Switch Studios was taken by this very, I mean,

[00:54:16] Lump House until this movie.

[00:54:18] So it was very unknown.

[00:54:19] There was a lot of unknowns, but I think there's a lot more they can still do with it.

[00:54:24] Because I mean prequel, post, series, like there's still a lot of lore to cover.

[00:54:30] So there's definitely room for opportunities.

[00:54:36] I'm actually kind of amazed it only got a PG-13, but I guess that's just the rate.

[00:54:43] I think that says more about how like lax the rating system is these days.

[00:54:47] I think too they probably did that purposely because let's just, you know, being honest,

[00:54:53] like Five Nights at Freddy's there's kids toys for it.

[00:54:57] It is pointed towards kids so they wanted to be able to get those slightly younger audiences.

[00:55:05] I feel like if they had gone true gore levels and they wouldn't have been able to,

[00:55:11] they wouldn't have been able to cater to the audience they had to cater to for the movie to be successful.

[00:55:17] Yeah, I will say this isn't a scary movie at all.

[00:55:19] No, I get more scared watching like the playthroughs and getting the jump scares.

[00:55:25] Well, jump scares aren't scary.

[00:55:27] They're just shocking.

[00:55:29] That's like an inherent just kind of thing with jump scares.

[00:55:31] But think about the game.

[00:55:33] Like the only thing that really scares me is the jump scares.

[00:55:37] Like the animations themselves are not that scary.

[00:55:39] I mean, most of the times it's just like a gif of them going, but but but you know.

[00:55:45] Yeah, I mean, the games themselves, he tries to make them more horrifying the farther they go.

[00:55:51] But I feel like though they almost like to me, the first game is the scariest.

[00:55:57] Like I feel like the first game is the scariest.

[00:55:59] And then like from there, it kind of like I don't know, I feel like the more detailed it went in the tried to be scary.

[00:56:07] I got a little less scary at all.

[00:56:09] If that's just me or why I just became numb to it.

[00:56:19] Alex is straight up falling asleep right now.

[00:56:21] I am tired.

[00:56:23] Well, I got home late last night because I got my hair done.

[00:56:25] So I didn't eat until late.

[00:56:27] And then like because I ate late, I had stomach ache and I just like couldn't sleep.

[00:56:33] I was like, I'm going to sleep.

[00:56:35] And then I wanted to keep my same wake up schedule so I didn't wake up any later.
