What's up? Welcome back to Chillscape, a comfy, cozy pocket dimension filled to the brim with the chillest video game music. I'm your host, Aaron. And for any and all info about the show, check out the website, chillscape.xyz. You'll find my socials, links to the show on your favorite player, and a whole heck of a lot more.
Aaron:In this episode, we'll be enjoying a relaxing night by the fire in Dracula's castle as we listen to some of the chillest songs from across the Castlevania series. So here's our first block. We're gonna start things off with tracks from handheld Castlevania games like Circle of the Moon, Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. And there's plenty of meat in the walls in case you need a snack, so, yeah, I'll see you in a little bit. Alright.
Aaron:You're back. For this next block, I'm gonna let a friend of mine take the wheel, so hit it.
Treeky:Hi. Hello. It's your friendly neighborhood, Treeky. And today on Chillscape, I'd like to share with you one of my favorite composers, Oscar Arojo, specifically for his work on the Castlevania Lords of Shadows series. Personally, I think these games were a modern epic, and the six tracks I've selected for you today are hauntingly beautiful pieces scored across all three games.
Treeky:We start off with that mystical sound of Lords of Shadow one before moving into the sorrowful mirrors of fate, and finally, wrapping up with the triumphant Lords of Shadow two. Enjoy.
Aaron:Thanks again, Treeky. Alright. I've put together a pretty strong, pretty solid final block. We've got tracks from Castlevania games on home consoles of the past. Games like Super Castlevania four, Rondo of Blood, Castlevania 64, Curse of Darkness, and Castlevania Chronicles.
Aaron:So I'll give you a minute to settle into your custom made Chillscape Snuggie before I hit play. Don't worry. I'll wait. You good? Alright.
Aaron:Let's go. Alright. That's it for now. Before I go, I wanna give a quick shout out to my patrons, Logic Drift, Ryan Wilson, Will, Dave C, Quest sixty four, well known Nintendo 64 game, Matt aka Stormageddon, Kevin Demo, president, lieutenant Jeff Miners of the Admirals Club, Trey, Jameson Empire, Jared Schrader. All of you rock.
Aaron:Thank you just a fucking butt ton for supporting the show. Join me again in two weeks or join my Patreon for $2.04, or $8 a month for early episodes, shout outs in every episode, a monthly bonus block of of jams from a previous episode. And if you're in the $8 tier, you'll have a chance to host your own block on the show. That's pretty cool. Until then, peace.
Aaron:Don't let the bats bite you.
