[00:00:00] Gaming Podcast, If you're new joining us we are three brothers who get together and we talk about games and gaming. We also talk tech TV, movies, geeky, nerdy, other things too. I am ticket easy, John O. And with me, my brethren. Last night, and and off the wise.
[00:00:59] And today we'll be playing through a game we created with artificial intelligence if you can believe it. If you can believe it. We created. We created. We created the AI create. The AI is going to be the AI will be creating it on the fly as we play.
[00:01:19] The AI facilitated it. But we told it what's great. I'm protecting it. I'll go through what I did with it before we start. Okay, I have no idea how that's going to work. But we'll see. And so will you.
[00:01:34] But first it is Friday. What is up? Happy Friday. Happy Friday to everybody. Well, we're recording this on Friday anyway. Dan and I see you got a little drink there. You got a little of the, you know also.
[00:01:45] I just scarf down my dinner and I didn't want to chug the red wine after. So it was like, oh, just drink it during this show and risk looking a little. Get this guy. Tenches. Or like that metal lord.
[00:01:58] It was like, who's your biggest inspiration on that metal documentary? He's like, say to say to, yeah, that guy. He was actually drinking human blood. Yeah, probably wouldn't doubt it. Oh, my goodness. So what's been happening? What's been happening? Check it out, boys.
[00:02:20] I need to try to do this here. This is the test shirt. Oh, that we got. Give me second. Right. Yeah. Give us a large demonstration. That thing was a pair of shirty sweet.
[00:02:34] I'm looking forward to getting my hair sweet on one of the white ones that we ordered. That's pretty cool. I am full on merch mode lately.
[00:02:44] Been trying to figure out this store and how we're going to deal with this store and not break the bank or break and break other people's banks. So I just don't think it's like for people ordering from Canada. It's just you just get screwed either way.
[00:03:01] We can't have nice things, but for everyone in the state. I mean, so we've put a pin in that. I'm going to look at some more stuff. I think I have a lead on what we're going to do, but that's going to take another week or so.
[00:03:15] Iron out and see what we're doing. But these shirts came in. These are the test shirts from the first company that I was looking into and they're quite nice. They're 100% cotton. So they're a little bit heavy, but they're not too bad. And I've worn heavier shirts.
[00:03:32] Wow, you know what? If they don't, it's actually good because for somebody who sweats as much as you do, you should be like pumping that out like a marketing point. You know, if you're somebody who sweats a lot, we'll see how one of these T's man.
[00:03:45] We'll see how it lasts through this episode if it's fucking drenched. Just at the end of it, you just got your shopping. Wipe your face. It's shirtless just like, Yeah.
[00:03:58] But look forward to the store because we've got some cool designs coming up and they're actually looking pretty good. I've been editing, chopping them up, splicing them together, been doing a lot of work on that. Oh, artificially intelligent. Oh, man.
[00:04:15] Guys, I have been in a huge AI dive. This past couple of weeks. He's been stopped. He's the one responsible for all your waiting times like he's. Oh, careful. Careful now. This guy in it waiting to happen here, waiting to murder us. The Thanos feeding them all.
[00:04:32] He's an amazing. Oh, it's fucking safe. It's always safe. It's always safe. Yeah. It's always safe. It's always safe. That's crazy. And women. Well, we have been doing that. We have also been doing some other things. I have filmed a video for the YouTube as you guys know,
[00:04:54] but it is completed as posted. I did a review of my monitor. When we get something new and cool like tech toys or little toys, big tech toys, you know, anything we get that is kind of cool and gaming related.
[00:05:09] I guess then we may be make one of those, one of those videos throw it up. Just a quick video that focuses on should you buy this and then explain maybe who should buy it,
[00:05:21] who it's for, you know, who would kind of be might be interested in that. And then what are experiences are with it. Yeah, just and then the answer, the viewers can answer that for themselves, you know, should you buy this? There you go.
[00:05:35] But I did get a new tech toy also. It is the other one. She's. I got the eight bit do ultimate Bluetooth controller. Huh. It is for PC and switch here it is. And Android PC switch Android. And this has Hall effect sensor.
[00:06:00] Okay, so this is a special type of joystick that will apparently never get stick drift ever. It allows for a near perfect zero dead zone. Is that in the warranty? If it does then you get the send-back.
[00:06:23] What are the sticks like? Are they, are they springy like PS5? Springy? They're nice. You know, you know, responsive like quick as a whip. I like my, my, my sticks wippy. Whippy like like not a lot of resistance. Other, other, like you can n64 analog stick. N64.
[00:06:46] I believe that was just like a mouse ball with an elastic band. Honestly. Yeah, probably feels better than Xbox's. Yeah. Well, apparently I was looking into it and Xbox there's is there's just no controllers after Market controllers available for Xbox with Hall sensors in them.
[00:07:05] Just they just don't exist. Just crazy. It's just these this one company I guess that makes them called goole kit. They have their own controller called the goole kit King Kong pro or something.
[00:07:18] And they, I guess, designed or got these sticks designed with using a Hall type sensor, which is different than a traditional joystick. But they contracted their sticks out, I guess, to eat it do who use it in this controller.
[00:07:34] So I picked it up and I really like it. I really like it. I really like the racing. Yeah, because what I did was when I'm playing apex, I turn off the dead zone, right? With this controller.
[00:07:47] So now it's dead straight, no stick drift because when with the razor and the other old type sensors, you put dead zone to 0% You're going to see the stick drifting because it's not dead center like these are these are Magnetically dead center. Hmm.
[00:08:08] So and apparently it just doesn't develop stick drift ever. So I do notice with the with the zero dead zone and the Hall sensor, I get really fine. Really? Okay. Cool. Where did you hear about this controller? What made you want to? I heard about it a while.
[00:08:24] I heard about the King Kong a while ago, but it doesn't have back buttons. So I just dismissed it completely. It's like I don't want that. But then I heard that this one does and it uses the same sensors. So I was like, I am interested in that.
[00:08:40] But it has two back buttons. It doesn't have four which I'm not a huge fan of because I love the four back buttons. I really use all of them on the razor. So it's a bit of an adjustment.
[00:08:54] But yeah, I'm going to make a little video about this one too. Cool. I'll be making one too because I've got something coming in the mail. Oh, cool. From China. Oh. New iPhone. So you'll see that one. Six months. I'm going to take a new Facebook. Hi.
[00:09:15] Did you finish watching that? Which one? No. Still come belly? No, no. I still have to start season two. I will. I was in Yang and so funny. Guys, I went to go see John Wick 4. In IMAX. Oh, it was IMAX. I didn't know that.
[00:09:35] And I got to talk about this for a minute here. Okay. I love the first one. John Wick 1 was awesome. Totally awesome. The second and third one was they were okay. Like during the second and third one in theater, I felt like the fatigue, right?
[00:09:53] The John Wick fatigue. I think that's why I fell asleep during the third one. That's exactly. And like I dozed off. Like I dozed off a lot. Okay. Dozed off during John Wick. Unbeliever. John Wick 2 and 3. I remember like dosing off a bit because they were kind of,
[00:10:09] They weren't like slow but anyway. They were a bit different. I didn't want to believe the reviews about number four because they were like, It's the best one. The best John Wick. Yaddy, yaddy, yaddy, yaddy. Usually by the fourth movie. Like it's going to be garbage. Yeah.
[00:10:29] I didn't know why there was anything about it or even watched the trailer. I didn't know pre-conception at all. Yeah, I was like, well you know what? We're going to go check this out. So me, Alma and a couple of her friends went to go see this movie.
[00:10:42] And holy fuck boys. It was wild. Nice. It's an absolute feast on the ears and the eyes. The sound in the eye max 30 was, It's like unparalleled. It was so fucking good. Like the photography direction and the cinematography was chef's kiss. And the lighting throughout the entire movie,
[00:11:06] like the lighting was so gorgeous. It was like perfect. We're so perfectly done. meticulous. Where the lighting was landing on his face and in the scene it was so. Awesome. So you're saying it was going to be a good old-AD movie. Yes.
[00:11:22] I'm going to buy this day one purchase. I wish to be blue ray for me in my own life. Does that mean I should wait to watch it on my telly? Because I'm not going to get the experience you did unless I drive all the way to
[00:11:33] friggin' Ottawa, which I don't really want to do. Watch a movie. Yeah, I'm going to wait, I think. I don't know what we went to. I'm at the screen was unbelievably massive, right? Like, so it was awesome. I was blown away.
[00:11:48] I could not stop giggling and laughing about how awesome the movie was. Like, I was like, not once did I do is off. Not once did I even blink. You didn't blink. No. Wow. That was super crusty at the end of the day. He's just like, crusted over.
[00:12:04] They're just like, we're just watering. His eyes are just watering. It's so painful. And I had eaten, I had eaten a massive breakfast dinner, like a breakfast food for dinner right before the movie. So usually within like 20 minutes I'd have to take a shit. Right? That's true.
[00:12:22] Not once did I feel I had to poop. I was so engaged into the movie. Wow. Like my body shut everything else down and just kept my brain in my eyes and my ears. His organs are shutting down. For Nathaniel not to fall asleep.
[00:12:40] And you're having to dig a shit. That's like unprecedented. Yes, that's around breaking. Okay. I feel like they took. They took everything from the first three. Figure it out what was missing and what was wrong. Pumped. Pumped to 11 and turned on the noss and strapped you in.
[00:13:00] Like it was so nice. There's one point in the movie. There's one point in the movie. They fail my sequence, right? Because John makes sequences. You know, they're like, fuck in 10 minutes long of him blowing people away. Right? So in this one sequence,
[00:13:17] they do like a film from up top. They film like a, I don't know how you say it. Top. Top down. Yeah, bird's eye. Like that game was a called my friend. Grand theft auto. Yeah, one of the two. Like that. Or polka mon.
[00:13:35] Oh, what was it called? I had it right near. Hotline Miami. You guys remember hotline Miami. So it's like birds. I've you looking down and your shooter going into the room. And you're just fucking blowing people away right in the blood.
[00:13:48] And they did this in the movie and I've never seen anything like it. It was fucking amazing. It was so amazing coming up with new ways to. Yeah, present stuff. That's cool. It was awesome. It's two hours and 50 minutes. So like almost three are moving.
[00:14:05] I never watch three hour movies. That's a third. That's a third unprecedented for Nathanne. Never. But I never again once those off or wondered when it was over or checked my watch or anything like I was fucking glued for three hours.
[00:14:20] Not if they're sitting around the table and like a running room they're like, yeah, how do we make it so that no one wants to have a shit or fall asleep during this movie man? How do we how do we do that?
[00:14:33] It like test a bunch of audiences. It's a bunch of fat bearded dudes. Yeah. And the, well, it's like an essay. This is probably one of the best movies I've ever seen.
[00:14:49] If not the best action movie I've ever seen or ever like, I'll stand by shall we shall see then. Anywho should we get into game time? Yes. All right. Well, what are we playing? Coorantly or what have we been playing? Yes. Who's just done? Yes.
[00:15:24] I got something to do. I got something funny. Real funny. Really? That I didn't tell you guys about. Yeah. Two me two. I didn't disclose this because I figured I would tell you let me start. I'll start with this. Okay.
[00:15:36] So I picked up a new game on PlayStation five because I was like, I'm going to dust off the PS5. Wow. And play it. It was on sale for 30 bucks as opposed to like 40. It's not a full like full release game, but check this out. Okay.
[00:15:55] So can we get season? What? Oh, everyone. What did you say? I was going to guess your game you bought. I doubt you'd have guessed it because I haven't really talked a lot about this. But anyway, it's called season a letter to the future.
[00:16:08] Have you guys heard of this one? Yes. I think so. Is that the artsy farts you won? Yeah. So I don't know why it was a thrill out of us and I were looking at the PS5 list and it was in the store on sales. Oh, shit.
[00:16:20] You know what? I'll buy that on a way. And I'll just try. I'll put a few hours in before the show. So they released it in January on the 31st though. So it's been out for two months. Exactly now. Okay. Sorry. Yeah. Two months.
[00:16:35] I was developed and published by Scavenger Studio. I was released with their based out of Quebec. So it's Canadian game, Canadian student. PlayStation exclusive. I'm pretty sure. The description on PlayStation store is season. I'm going to paraphrase this a bit because it wasn't crazy about theirs.
[00:16:53] But a letter to the future is a third person at Miss Veric Adventure. Leave home for the first time to collect memories before a mysterious cataclysm washes everything away. Armed with a camera and audio recorder, explore and document discovering the strange world around you.
[00:17:09] Each recording tool captures a different layer, sounds in music and art and architecture. The stories of characters living through pivotal moments. Your tools help you reveal the culture and history underneath everything. This quest leads you to the big questions. What is this season? The title of the game.
[00:17:28] Why is it ending? And what will next season bring? So the game follows the story of a style whose young woman who leaves her isolated home for the first time to create a record of the changing world for the next generation before a mysterious cataclysm wipes everything away.
[00:17:44] That was from another site, but I like that one better little simpler. I've put in three plus hours. Oh wow. Already done. Yeah. As you record and collect like Mementos, be it audio or photographs, for gotten postcards that you've seen lying around or letters left behind.
[00:18:04] Each one is documented in your journal, which can be decorated with them and like the audio is accompanied by a pencil sketch. So you can click play on the little pencil sketch and it'll play the audio that you recorded with your mic.
[00:18:17] Watercolour drawings, polaroids and all that stuff. And you can take some really, really beautiful pictures I'll try and share some of my polaroids with you guys. And maybe even put them on Instagram once I have like a few nice ones that I really like.
[00:18:30] And you can sync a lot of time just like looking for really nice frames and so I like pictures of what's around you. The graphics style is really cool. It's nothing crazy, but it's definitely like a cell shaded. I don't even know if it's considered cell shaded.
[00:18:46] You'd have to look it up and see there might be an actual technical term for it, but I don't know it. Nice and colorful, really nice and colorful. And while it's not a Japanese game with regard to character or world or the developer.
[00:19:03] The game offers some serious like studio jibbly innocence and poignancy, which is I think what drew me to it. So whether you're a casual or an avid video gamer if you find this is like the most important thing about this game as I'm playing it.
[00:19:17] If you find deep meaning and like living in the moment and soaking in an absorb what's around you and enjoying it and being present. And or if you just like scrapbooking and journaling and storytelling through collected mementos, y'all want to check out season for sure. Anyone listening?
[00:19:36] Very cool so far. I don't know where it's going at.
[00:19:39] I've only kind of just reached a certain point where I'm starting to come across you know people because it's people are like migrating and moving because this new season is coming and things are changing right so people are like abandon their homes and shit like that.
[00:19:54] It's pretty crazy it's it's cool. So I'm looking forward to seeing where that goes. You would like stray then, I think. Yeah, I know that's next on the list.
[00:20:03] It was between the two, but I was like, I'll try this one because they haven't played it and I'll tell them about it. Beyond that.
[00:20:13] We've done some I wanted to tell you guys it was kind of funny we've done some things and see if thieves the past couple sessions. Where we've scottled player ships and invited the players to jump aboard our ship.
[00:20:26] So we have like a five plus player crew scuttled what is this scuttled sink.
[00:20:33] But that's the that's that guess the nautical term anyway we were like we think their ship and we're like come on join us if they're not like hostile so they'll just join an art group. You said there's a lot of shit.
[00:20:45] Can you proximity chat you sunk their ship and then ask them to join you yeah for just in a playful mood. Can you talk to them?
[00:20:54] No, there's no verbal communication they just jump on and we say I pretty sure unless one of us is on PC then they can type we'd probably done that. Let's try this one. Yeah, they'll do our bidding patching holes and like bailing water they'll do our bidding.
[00:21:07] It was one time it was it was pretty funny and very surreal these two like female characters I don't know if they're actually female it's video game you don't know they come aboard after we do it we destroy their swoop and they come by to red and like one ends up cooking below deck.
[00:21:26] And it was like we're on deck and the other one was just helping us do other things and I was like she's cooking downstairs. This is getting a little too. It's getting a little too playing house for me.
[00:21:36] That we did it to another guy and he was he was fantastic because we were doing these pretty crazy events and he was helping bail and and shoot cannons and patch boards.
[00:21:47] But he died and so that responds you back to your own ship so he essentially lost him forever. And we find ourselves in a in a tight battle in jacksers like I miss her saucy.
[00:22:00] Because he's like helping us it's fun man we've been having a blast on season nine of CFC is a lot of cool lot of cool stuff happening that's it for me. That's funny. I wouldn't join you I had fucking sink your ship from inside.
[00:22:14] Well some people do and other players just don't want to I don't know they just jump and they just want to keep playing so we'll have like a six piece people on a ship.
[00:22:23] And we're just going and doing shit until they die or whatever happens right man that reminds me of something they added to war zone do you remember that did you know that they did that. In wars on two or no wait.
[00:22:36] Yeah and war zone two or I don't know if they still have it but I forget what it was called but you could fucking join another team in in trio's I think it's only available in trio's you like ask them yeah you can like squad up and have a fucking squad of six people.
[00:22:53] We're gonna stupid game it's so dumb and we were like like when we were playing and we were fighting people and so I go okay there's three of them that over here.
[00:23:00] And then we're getting shot on the other side from three other guys and they're all working together. It's like what the fuck is going on yeah.
[00:23:07] So if you don't like join with other people like you just get screwed by doing like three v6 it is so dumb it was the dumbest shit I've ever fucking seen good thing I installed that game.
[00:23:20] Okay, so I decided to do an experiment for science science guys as since I got a new controller for the switch I paired it up and I downloaded apex legends on switch. Oh, I didn't know it was on it. I'm sure that's fantastic.
[00:23:36] Few words can describe the results of my experiment. The frame rate. I'd say maybe 15 FPS. Oh my god. Okay 15 maybe 25 FPS okay 25 would be like that would be like a cinematic experience and it was not.
[00:24:01] It's like the input the input is so slow and it's just so it feels you feel like you're like running in mud. It is so bad. I can feel it right now.
[00:24:16] It is so bad the bots in the orientation matches were actually harder to kill than real people because they the bots aren't playing on a 20 FPS switch. They just see you and they shoot you immediately and like I got aim-botted by a bot.
[00:24:35] I checked my death gap and he hit me all fucking headshots and I died. I was like what the fuck is going on here. Wow. So I went into the settings and I noticed that crossplay is enabled by default on this. Okay.
[00:24:53] Does no one's going to play that? You turn that off and you get exactly. I turned it off and I tried to cue and you know what it said? One person in cue. Me. Yeah. I only saw two people. I did see two other people on switch.
[00:25:11] The entire time I was playing, which was like a couple hours but everyone else was on Xbox and PlayStation. It was so fucking dumb. Just like how am I supposed to kill these people?
[00:25:19] I'm like running in quick to- although I did get quite a few kills but I wonder if they saw the person who killed them was all the switch. Because I have never ever seen that logo ever. No one calls it like a tells you that you're on switch.
[00:25:36] It tells people yeah. Yeah. How are the graphics was the 15th TS or the four? Oh my gosh. No shit. No shit. It was like it looked like a finger painting. It was just like it was like horrible.
[00:25:51] Actually, I think someone left my party because I was on switch. I keep her juice and then it showed up and I was like a default skin like Bangalore or whatever.
[00:26:01] And it said like switch and then we came out into the drop-shook and she was going to be like, I was like, fuck. Yeah, that is funny. I'd leave you to- I'm not playing with this guy. No. It was- I just can't believe it. Like what?
[00:26:15] I think I might have been the only person playing on switch. Like why would they make that game for switch? They got to. Like what are they doing? Why do they have to? Like what purpose? It's unplayable. It's literally unplayable.
[00:26:30] Yeah, but what people usually have is switch right? Then they don't play apex legends. And then they remove, they scrapped apex legends mobile, which is 40 times better than the switch version. Like hello? I don't know man. It was so bad. Yeah, that was my experiment. It was fun.
[00:26:56] It was funny. But then I just just like couldn't do it anymore. I started playing again a replay through Titanfall 2 campaign. Okay? And then when I started it up, you remember the tutorial on Titanfall 2 is like the gauntlet.
[00:27:12] You do the gauntlet and you have to like do the thing. It's like a little obstacle course where you kill a couple guys. So I was hooked on trying to get like a high score. I think there's a leaderboard right? Yeah, it's really good. How are doing that?
[00:27:27] What am I doing? This is the freaking tutorial. But fun fact. That is how octane from apex blew off his legs. The tutorial, he used a grenade to propel himself forward to get a quicker time in the gauntlet. That's the lore. Wow. And he blew off his legs.
[00:27:49] But that is actually an homage to how guys used to do speed runs of the gauntlet in the game first came out. They would throw a grenade down and it would propel them forward and they added that to the lore as octane, that's why he has metal legs.
[00:28:05] Cool lore. Pretty cool. I like that. It's super fun man. It's such a good campaign. Like I don't know if you remember playing it but I didn't beat it. I think I played the Titanfalls. And you wouldn't like Titanfall. I think it's awesome.
[00:28:18] You battled giant robots flying around like Lucio from Overwatch. If he was an apex character, that's how I would describe it. I'm playing on like master difficulty. It is so hard. It is so hard. I die so much.
[00:28:32] You just get hopped shop by like one of these robot dudes and they shoot you in the head. You're fucking dead. I was like what? Just killed me. What the hell is that? Did we just... That reminds me of what's the met game on PlayStation?
[00:28:45] Again, that's coming out the new one after years. Oh, a armored core. A armored core. Do we have a date on that? I don't remember if we had an actual date. I don't think so. No, I don't think so. No. Okay.
[00:28:56] But the last time I played this was before apex was a thing, right? Like when did Titanfall come up? 2012 or some shit? Because apex came from Titanfall? Yeah. And it's interesting now replaying it because all of the guns are there. The guns that I know from apex.
[00:29:14] Some of the characters like ashes there and it's really cool. It's really cool. It's really fun to see. But like the guns are completely different. Like they look the same and are named the same thing. But their recoil patterns are all different. It's very strange. But cool.
[00:29:32] Cool to see. I like that. World building. I have some cool context for four apex actually. That's cool. Next I was going to talk about the Ablo. Are you going to talk about the Ablo? Is that on your list? Yeah. What do you go?
[00:29:44] So the Ablo 4 beta has ended. I played through the early access beta which didn't have playable race, um, necromancer or druid. So played the early access. I leveled all the characters in early access to about level 15. Ish.
[00:30:04] But when open beta came along and I was able to start that necromancer, oh my god it was so good. And so good. I like the look of the armor that I've seen like the man. The game is beautiful. It was really liked. I really liked it.
[00:30:20] I enjoyed it. I got to level 25. I was able on the. What the hell did I play? Rogue. Rogue is really fun too. I'm a roguer. It's a roguer. It's sick. Like that. Open my rotation was dialed bro. Yeah.
[00:30:34] The open beta ran like absolute ass though compared to the early access. Thank you. We rubber banding everywhere. I couldn't get out of certain towns. It was like playing even in the open access. I was doing that. I was rubber banding all over the place on PC. Yeah.
[00:30:49] It was brutal. It was a PC thing. Everyone was saying that they weren't having issues that we were playing with. On console. Oh, I played on both. And I found the PS5 version ran a lot better than the PC version. I don't know why.
[00:31:04] But I was seemed like a lot worse lag on the PC versus when I just go like fuck it. I go downstairs and play on the PS5. And it was still had some rubber banding issues, but it wasn't nearly as much as the PC.
[00:31:18] I don't know what the hell it was going on there. People were like, oh, it's because Necromancer is up now and everyone's skeletons are spawning and there's like four or five times the amount of characters in the server.
[00:31:31] But like it only seemed to happen to me in towns. Yeah. Or trying to get out of towns. Yeah. That was stupid. Yeah. Maybe it was this weird decent kind of thing. Other than that, man. It was so good. It was so good. I didn't.
[00:31:49] I've done a huge devil fan. Like, devil three was okay. I played through it like maybe one time and then started a couple more. Like, I didn't really care. But this, this game is really good. I liked the talent tree. It's really cool.
[00:32:08] I found the devil three when it was kind of like, man, I don't really know. I don't know. Yeah. I don't know. Pam is playing through the devil three right now. I was like, oh, yeah. I remember this. This is nowhere near as good as the devil four.
[00:32:21] I really enjoyed it. I'm going to get it. I'm going to play it. Yeah. But yeah. I was sick. My rogue dude. It reminded me more. I remember playing the devil three. I didn't really have a rotation. I didn't really think of it that way.
[00:32:35] But in this one, I did for some reason. Like back in World of Warcraft. I knew what I had to do. I had to keep this up. I had to do this. I had to, you know, keep my dots up. Refresh them.
[00:32:46] But it was kind of like that where I would like jump in. I jump in and I would do my caltrops. So we would drop my caltrops. So when any enemies were in my caltrops, I would have a higher crit on them.
[00:33:00] And every time I crit, my attacks would ricochet. So I would get an automatic ricochet on crit. So I would have to always kind of drop my caltrops and fight them in there. And then I would like have to activate something else.
[00:33:13] I would also increase my crit even more so that I'm firing my knives and shit. And they're just bouncing around between enemies because I'm creating so much. Yeah. Because if I don't create, they don't bounce, right? So it's, yeah, it was really cool.
[00:33:28] I had to like time it out and actually have a rotation. Very cool. Yeah. It was pretty sweet. I am probably going to pre-order so I can get the 4-day early access and the season pass that comes with. I think the pre-order, the Deluxe pre-order.
[00:33:42] And you guys can continue the your characters in the game that you've created in beta. How does that work? Okay. So it's just a one-time thing. You level up your beta characters and then you stay with the session. Yeah.
[00:33:54] It was essentially to try you all the classes and stuff before the release, so you know which one to play. Yeah. I'm definitely going to play a row. What is the official release date? June 6. Second. Second. Great thing. But then the 4-day early access if you pre-order. Okay.
[00:34:15] How much is the pre-order Deluxe thing anything? No. June 6. So June 2nd. If you have the pre-order. Yeah. June 2nd. Yeah. I'll get it. Oh, got it. Fuck it. Yep. It's going to be good. Now we'll see what kind of sleaze moves they make.
[00:34:34] But I don't think they'll do much because you're spending 90 bucks on it. Right. So they'll do the season pass like destiny. Yeah. Maybe I'll pick it up then. Maybe it should actually. It's cross platform. It's cross platform with all platforms. Cool. All right. Was that it?
[00:34:55] Oh, I started Breath of the Wild again. I'm trucking along and there. I just got to Gorgon City. You're whatever the fuck's called Gorgon City. Gorgon Zolas. Gorgon Zolas. Yeah. Gorgon Zolas. Man. There's a few things in that game.
[00:35:12] Like why the fuck did they put this shitty thing? Like what? Dura-ability thing is so fucking stupid. Yeah. So never crazy about that in any game. I don't need that shit. I'm nagging on my brain when I'm trying to enjoy a game.
[00:35:25] Like, I get to the water elephant. Dungeon beast. Yeah. And I forget to get an extra bow. So every time I'm playing through halfway through the fight my bow breaks. And I can't shoot the fucking arrows at it. The boys? Break? I don't remember that. Oh yeah.
[00:35:46] The boys show everything. Break. Except for the, uh, the old man. I was like, I don't want to go out of here. Go to a town by arrows. Go find a bow somewhere. So I just kept trying to beat him without going to get a new bow.
[00:35:58] Oh my god. I think he did that. They must have done that because it was primarily the whole stick for breath of the wild was a survival like wilderness survival type thing, right? Where it's like, you had to cook for your food and stay warm in the mountain.
[00:36:13] It feels like they gave up on that. Like when you're playing the game, it's like they wanted to do that. And then like halfway through they're like, no, fuck it. Let's not go full like survival thing.
[00:36:24] No, you don't mean I think it's just a casual facet of the game. They could have gone side the main story and everything. If do. And if they wanted to do that, they could have let me repair my items at least.
[00:36:36] Not that just break and I tossed them away. That is true. Drives me crazy. It drives me nuts. That's my big beef. God, I gotta play that game again. But it's that. It's amazing. The game is beautiful. It runs so well on this switch.
[00:36:51] I can't believe it's mind. Not like apex legends? No, no, no, no. But yeah, I feel like I'm all going to jump back in. Ride my horse around. Kill some dommities. Devine B. Seve you done so far then? I'm on my second. The fire lizard. Divine breasts.
[00:37:09] I think there's about four of them. Just about to go into the divine lizard. I suppose that's it. That's good. That can segue us into our gaming news where we're going to talk about. Legend of Zelda. Here's the kingdom. Okay. This is going to be a gaming news.
[00:37:35] And we're going to talk about Nintendo. The Legend of Zelda. Here's the kingdom. Mr. O'Numa gameplay demonstration thoughts. Thoughts. I did watch it. Nothing's a video. Where team? Nothing. Like, I wasn't expecting it to look different because. What are they going to do right?
[00:37:59] But how different are you going to make a sequel look right? Is it not a sequel to Breath of the Wild? I don't know. Was it not coming for the long as time? Yeah, I think it is anymore. Oh, it was.
[00:38:13] I thought but I've written the same thing. You still have your friggin' slate. You're a little chicasslate. No, actually. So it's like one of those direct sequels like Majora's mask was of. A green of time kind of thing. I don't know.
[00:38:27] But like they probably wouldn't stray too far from the recipe of Breath of the Wild and how that looked right? So yeah, I won't hold them too much on the looks department of this except for how cool links here looks now. Yeah, yeah. This fucking flow buds.
[00:38:47] Yeah, yeah, links got pretty six-salad flowing there pretty good. And it seemed a lot smoother to me. I don't know. So maybe they implemented some kind of upscaling like FSR in there just to give it those things. I didn't really notice that.
[00:39:05] It looked just as jagged as the rest of them. Yeah, but I still think it's got to be Breath of the Wild and this game will probably still have to be some of the best looking games on Switch.
[00:39:14] How can you make it look any better than that and run? So those Mario games look pretty nice. That's true. That's true. They actually do look good. I've seen those. It looks smooth, you know. I was like, am I watching it? I was like, am I surprised?
[00:39:30] This still looks exactly like Breath of the Wild was I expecting it to be different. Am I disappointed? Yeah, I could have liked. Yeah, I could have liked. I don't think we can really expect that much more either with the story.
[00:39:42] Either with the size of the world it is and like, oh yeah. And it being a sequel, like it's going to look similar. I'm fine with it.
[00:39:50] I think in the end, I love Breath of the Wild so much that I'm I'm fine with it, especially in a game that's going to have even more to it. Like these.
[00:40:00] The new abilities seem very cool and I'm glad they're able to kind of keep it interesting by adding more. You know, useable techniques that aren't just like bullshit gimmicks where you're like, what the fuck is the point of that? It's something that they can start new puzzles around.
[00:40:15] They're just going to create new puzzles that you'll have to fuse things to use. You just want to really freakin' cool. I really like that. Yeah, because everyone hated the durability in the last game so like how can we make the durability less atrocious? Combine item mechanic?
[00:40:32] Yeah, combine the item before it breaks with a rock. You know what I mean? Yeah, I guess. That was there like maybe. Way of just, you're going to see some funny combinations probably. Yeah, I hope everything goes. Everything that's going to be crafting the vehicles do.
[00:40:49] People are going to make some stupid ass vehicles. It's going to be pretty fun. Yeah. I like that they're expanding upward vertically in the world just like there you know, they're taking a page at a cyberpunks book or CDPR whoever. So maybe it won't be so expansive.
[00:41:08] Horizontally, I don't know. But it also looked like it's really different up on the, what do they call them sky aisles? I think. Yep. So whenever you go off like you just jump off those fucking islands and you see the whole map that was incredible.
[00:41:24] That was so cool. It's going to be cool. It'll be good. It'll be good. We won't have to worry. No, we won't have to worry about that. I don't think so either. You got anything else? No, I think that's it. Okay, I'm going to talk about this.
[00:41:38] I, I, I saw something today and I put some notes down here guys. I wanted to share this with you. It is from a, about a week ago at this video is released. I watched a video on YouTube by basically homeless.
[00:41:50] I don't know if you've heard of him or he interviewed the developers of a new anti-cheat software. Okay, it's called Annie Brain. We were talking about cheating in video games couple episodes ago and anti-cheats and how we can stop cheaters. Well, this uses AI.
[00:42:09] This is, this is not, was not even on our radar when we were talking. We were talking cloud gaming. You know, you separate the, the cheater from the, from the hacks so they can install it on the game because something cloud. This is different.
[00:42:22] This uses AI to learn the players behavior. And it, it's constantly learning. Okay, from all players, all players play.
[00:42:35] How they're playing the game and it uses AI to profile a player and create a fingerprint, if you will, of the way that you play the game called like a bio profile. They called it. What? And this profile will stay with you across any game.
[00:42:54] And any account that uses this anti-cheat because it will recognize you. It will recognize you on a different game from your bio profile. I don't believe that. It learns the way you play, it learns the movements you make around them.
[00:43:10] The way you play the game, your aiming habits, your response times, the little nuances that make you, you in the game. Based on like your account, like your app is count based on the way you play.
[00:43:23] Yeah, but what if I get a new email and log in it? It will recognize that you're the same player. No, that's what the design is.
[00:43:32] Okay, because you all have these little nuances, the way you play, that, you know, it takes two hours for the AI to create your bio profile. So you have to play for two hours before it, like it will really recognize you.
[00:43:44] And then it will take five minutes, apparently, to tell if someone is cheating. Huh, five minutes. And then if that's if you've played before without cheating. No, they'll know you're cheating because they know the typical behavior how humans can aim.
[00:44:06] This uses, this can like measure down to like the pixel. Like it can measure to the pixel of like aim bots and that aim snapping and shit. Like they'll know if you're cheating. This is just blue my mind. I was like, holy shit, this is crazy.
[00:44:22] Huh, that like any they will know you across accounts. Like it bends the person, not the account or the two that's right. Yeah, fucking bands you. The person in bio, that crazy. Well, come to band world. It's like a, it's like a video game bouncer.
[00:44:40] It's like whenever you, you try shit at bars and you're, you're like a drunk and you show it to all these different bars and the bounces. Like I fucking recognize you, buddy. Get out of here. What about this?
[00:44:51] So it's like maps your shit and you're not cheating whatever in your playing around. And then you can go check to see if you're a below average player for your age gap. Your age group. So you're like, oh, like,
[00:45:06] going to the log into the website analytics like you play like a five year old child. I kind of played a lot of legends. Yeah, you're, you're, you're playing style is on far with the toddler. And they weren't okay.
[00:45:21] They weren't allowed to disclose what game they're installed on right now because they have an ND. Oh, it's out in the wild though. Yeah, they're using, I don't know what game it is though,
[00:45:29] but they said that with a very high threshold setting like they said it pretty high at first. So that every hit they get, they know 100% like this guy's getting.
[00:45:39] And they said that just on that 20% of the population playing the game were cheating 20% and they believe it to be higher. They just tune the setting because there are cheats now that you can kind of tune to make it not look like your human. Exactly.
[00:45:57] And that's probably what like all the those cheating streamers and so forth. Oh, it's interesting. How does that? But it's almost like maybe it throws some opportunities to fuck you up because it can't. It's almost like just it doesn't snap right?
[00:46:08] It just kind of it doesn't snap right to it. It'll give a little bit of a overshoot and then come back. But just but that overshoot you can measure that overshoot probably to the pixel and if it's the same amount of pixels of overshoot like every time.
[00:46:23] She had his AI is going to catch that. It's like, oh, this guy overshoots by 30 pixels every fucking time he aim bought someone in the head like this guy's cheating and boom. In scene.
[00:46:35] It's like those virtual instruments on the drums you put the swing up at the swing down. So it sounds more human. It's an off beat by like a fraction of a second. I never use this swing thing. I don't trust it.
[00:46:49] Oh, I crank this swing up every single time. Why is our song swinging man? Why is this metal song fucking swinging like jazz to? I was thinking that would be an interesting concept for hack or cheat or whatever.
[00:47:08] It's almost like when the allies broke the Nazi code they had to like, they had to let some shit happens. So it's not to you know what I mean? It was not to lead on that they cracked the code otherwise it would be obvious.
[00:47:20] So it's like interesting if you know if the hack through some opportunities for you. So you pretty crazy. Pretty crazy. This could save online gaming. That's what the name of the video was it was called saving FPS games, AI, anti-G.
[00:47:37] Go check it out anybody listing who plays FPS this is really interesting stuff. But I think that's it and we should move into our today's topic. All right. So the thing I don't know what the fuck we're doing here.
[00:48:01] So you're going to have to lead us through this side of the mouth. Okay. I guess this is going to work. I'm hoping this is going to work. Okay. So tell us what hell we're doing here.
[00:48:12] So everyone knows I've been in an AI kick lately and I thought you know it would be cool. If the AI could bring us through a text adventure as if it was like a dungeon master and a Dungeons and Dragons game. Right.
[00:48:29] I was like, how would I do that? Did some googling? Did you ask the AI how you do it? No. I did. There's actually some prompts online that you can grab and then you can customize them based on the kind of story or game you want to play.
[00:48:48] How long does this game be? It's all up to the AI. Oh really, you didn't give it like a we can't be here for hours. No, that's why we're going to play it. We're going to play it for whatever like a half an hour or so. Okay.
[00:49:01] And this might actually turn into more content later because it's just a bit more content. Later because it does save the session. I guess yeah, it'll save like the text session.
[00:49:09] So today we'll be playing a little bit of a text adventure game which I prompted the AI to create for us. I have no idea how this how long this adventure is. I have no idea if it will crash or take over the world.
[00:49:23] I just set it up and imagine this started. I just set it up based on a tutorial I found online and I plugged in the story in a couple of additional rules. I took some rules out and that kind of stuff.
[00:49:37] Wow, so our game tonight is called the Elder Trolls, the Dragon Child. Okay. It is built on a D&D fifth edition all the rolling in the dice mechanics are behind the scenes. The AI does that for us. So we don't have to do that.
[00:49:56] That's based on Dungeons and Dragons though. Yeah, like the mechanics. So he's going to prompt us with options and we're going to play as one. We're going to play as one player. Okay, so it's a solo mission. Yeah, it's a solo mission.
[00:50:10] I couldn't like we're a solo adventure. Us three will be a solo mission. It couldn't figure out how to separate the players because every time I tried it started to play the game itself. So like you could watch the AI play the game.
[00:50:26] And it would just keep fucking going. This is awesome. So I'm actually experimenting on that for some content where I just let the AI play a game and it'll choose its own adventure and play through, but that's another. Wow. Okay. There were some issues with the command.
[00:50:46] So I have removed the commands in the AI should just let us freely reply and do that without taking back over and playing the game itself again. Okay. So cool. I used the world of elder scrolls as inspiration.
[00:51:04] And I told it to use popular fantasy races, beasts, monsters and items that would populate said world. You said the name of the game, which is the elder trolls to drag and child. Now you can ask the AI anything.
[00:51:21] So like if he doesn't do something that you don't like he's a hey, we can prompt him. We can talk to him and he'll apologize for doing whatever.
[00:51:29] There was one thing I couldn't do and it was set up a character creation because he would just take over and start creating a character and then playing the story by himself. He just gets way too excited. Yeah. And I'm like stop.
[00:51:43] Hey, I was like, hey, I think what you could have done was just created another chat and do the character creation in a separate chat. No. No, no.
[00:51:52] So what I would say was I was like, is like, AI, I wanted to create my character and then he was like, oh apologies. Go ahead and create your character. How tall is your character? All this shit. I was like, thank you. Sorry. I just got so excited.
[00:52:11] He funny. This whole fucking game we start like just triggers. He triggers this guy in it. Yeah, but like turns into like, jumanji and it's like sucked into the game. That would be sick. What a good movie idea, Dan. Yeah, we should write that. We should write that.
[00:52:34] Yeah. We should get the AI. We get the AI. Yeah, that's all you need to do. You don't have to. So now I'm pasting the instructions into chat, GPT. Okay. Once I hit start, the game starts. Okay. All right. There we go. We have to be the voices.
[00:52:54] You're going to do voices. You would have to do the voices for the dungeon master because what we're all doing Voices for characters now. Yes, but it's also complete with NPCs. So you can walk up to NPCs and ask them questions. Okay. So here we go. Ready?
[00:53:12] Pressing start. There we go. So apparently our name is Lira or Lyra. And we're on L female and our classes of wizard. Okay, let's just go with it. Okay. Excellent choice. As a wizard, you have high intelligence and have the ability to cast powerful spells.
[00:53:31] Let's roll for your abilities. Persuasion, strength, intelligence, dexterity and luck. So okay. Looks like we rolled here a 12 persuasion or a 6th strength very low. High intelligence though as a wizard at 20. The exterior is 14 and luck is 8. Okay. That's high intelligence. That's a D20 dice. That's max intelligence.
[00:53:52] Oh fuck like a max IV in Pokemon. All right. Let's go. Great roles. You have a high intelligence which will help you in spell casting. You start the game with 20 of 20 health. Wearing a wizard robe and a weat and wielding a staff.
[00:54:05] You're starting inventory includes a spell book, a bottle of health potion. A map of the land, a compass, a piece of parchment and a quill. Turn one morning day one. You don't have to read all this shit. Okay.
[00:54:21] So wherever it's you can say you can be turned minds via Rick and Morty when Morty is the listen to that guy. I read his script. It took guy in the light house. It's like morning day one. Hell 2020. Expeet zero.
[00:54:39] So I have we have to put this in here because it like keeps the AI remembering everything. So all you have to do is read turn one turn two if you want. You can say morning day one but anything after that is just for the AI to remember.
[00:54:55] Okay, so what do we start? Like what do we do? Yes. What? Introduce the game. Let's see. Where else read this right now? Welcome to the Elder Trolls the Dragon Child.
[00:55:07] In this game, you play as Lyra of wizard task was finding a child born of a dragon lord using forbidden dark magic. This child is said to possess incredible powers that could either save or destroy the land.
[00:55:19] The dragons have asked for your help and you have accepted the quest. Your goal is to find and bring the child before the dragon council along the way. You will encounter various obstacles enemies and NPCs will aid or hinder you in your journey.
[00:55:31] Are you ready to begin your adventure? Now, this is all AI guys. I did not tell it to do any of this. Okay. So I just gave it the plot of the story and that's how it's going on. Okay.
[00:55:45] Can we ask where we are right now? Like what are you ready? Are you ready to begin your adventure? Yes. Yes. Okay, you find yourself at the entrance of a small village. You can see villagers going about their business.
[00:55:58] You can hear the sound of animals and children playing. The weather is sunny and warm. What would you like to do? So what do we want to do? We've entered this city. Well, what do we normally do when we start a game like this guys?
[00:56:10] You go right to the tavern. It would be explore. Yeah, it would be explore. We find some should be you should be rude around in people's houses and find some food and some people. That's what I do. Let's sneak around. But where are we? We're not a rogue.
[00:56:24] Oh, that's true. Let's tell it to wait till night. What we can do is we can ask if we can cast the invisibility and then go sneaking around. Yeah, do we have an invisibility spell? Do we have an invisibility spell? Let me check your inventory. I'm sorry.
[00:56:42] You do not have an invisibility spell in your inventory. However, you do have a spell book. And you might be able to learn an invisibility spell if you find one. Or if you level up and gain access to higher levels spells.
[00:56:54] Why don't you just tell me the name of the spell you would like to learn? Cool. Okay, so we don't have one but we have a spell book. We have a spell book. We don't know what's, what do you want us to know?
[00:57:05] What kind of spells we have in the spell book? Yeah, what's in the spell book? What spells are in the spell book? Oh, holy shit. Okay, we got six spells. You open your spell book and you see that you have access to the following spells. Magic missile.
[00:57:19] A basic spell that shoots three glowing darts of magical force that are target. Mage armor. I spell that creates a magical force field around the caster increasing their AC. Is that sleep? I spell that puts creatures in the area of effective sleep.
[00:57:33] Identify a spell that allows you to identify the properties of a magical item. Comprehend languages. A spell that allows you to understand and communicate in any language. Oh, better fall. A spell that allows you to fall from great heights without taking damage.
[00:57:46] You also see that there are more spells in the book. But they require higher level to guess. Oh, wow. Nice. Okay. So what's the first objective? What's the first quest? Well, let's find this dragon child. Right. We should ask around. I'm going to ask NPCs.
[00:58:01] Have they heard the task? Let's go to the tavern. Oh, maybe the black town. The town guard. Oh, my god. Town guard. People at the tavern are adventurers, right? So we asked. We want to ask some people about the dragon child. Great. Who would you like to ask?
[00:58:16] There are several NPCs around the village including a blacksmith, a baker and a town guard. I say we go to the tavern. Okay. Yeah. Go to the tavern. Let's go to the tavern. You make your way to the local tavern where you see several patrons drinking and chatting.
[00:58:32] The bottom to greet you warmly and ask you what you'd like to drink. What would you like to do or say? I'm not here to drink. I'm looking for the dragon child. Okay. Yes. Do that here to drink.
[00:58:48] The bottom looks at you curiously and says the dragon child, you say. What do you want to know? You explain that you're on a quest to find the dragon child and bring them before the dragon
[00:58:57] Council and you are looking for any information that might help you look at them. The bartender nod slowly and says, I have heard rumors of a child with dragon. Features who have been seen around the ass. Good to the village.
[00:59:09] Some say that joy is a curse while others believe they are a savior. But I don't know much more than that. Am I right? Suddenly you hear a commotion outside. It sounds like someone is in trouble. What the fuck? Damn. What would you like to do?
[00:59:27] Do you want to go outside or to investigate? Yes, let's investigate the sound. Or investigate the commotion. You quickly leave the tavern and head towards the source of the commotion. As you get closer, you see a group of villagers gather around the house shouting and pointing.
[00:59:40] You push your way through the crowd and see a man standing in front of the house, wielding a large axe. He looks angry and unstable. One of the villagers sees you and says, Hey, help us. That man is trying to kill us, family. Fuck.
[00:59:54] Let's begin diving into the action here. This man is trying to kill his family. This man is trying to kill his. Let's cast sleep on the man. Wait, what about magic missile? No, we don't want this guy up. We don't want this guy up. All right. Fun.
[01:00:13] We have a fun. We even know magic missile. Do we even learn it? It's a spell book. I think. I'm going to stop. We have to learn a spell. Yeah. Let's do it. Let's spell it. Okay. We know what we're not. That this fucking guy. Cast magic missiles.
[01:00:28] What's he called? The axe wielding man on the axe wielding man. You quickly pull up your spell book and prepare to cast a spell.
[01:00:37] The man with the axes sees you and charges towards you, but you managed to shoot three glowing darts of magical force at him before he reaches you. We rolled a 19. Oh, with a bonus plus six for your intelligence. Great role.
[01:00:51] The magic missiles hit the man with the axe, causing him to stagger and drop his weapon. The villagers quickly subdue him and tie him up. The family thinks you profusely an opportunity to learn Lord for saving their lives. Excellent. What was our reward? What was our reward?
[01:01:05] What's our reward? A small bag of coins as a token of your gratitude. We're going to need that. We find a token of coins. We're going to need more. We ask. One. We're going to need more than that.
[01:01:19] The family looks at you apologetically and explains that they don't have much more to offer. However, they suggest you speak with the village elder who might be able to help you in your quest. What would you like to do? Oh man. Let's go.
[01:01:33] He's a hell of a jelder, I guess. Should we ask the axe wielding? Can we get the axe? Can we get the XP from that? We get any XP from that encounter. It's supposed to. It's actually supposed to, well yeah, I did add gold.
[01:01:50] So did we get any XP from that encounter? Yes, you gained 10 XP for successfully stopping the mammoth. The axe and saving the family. I've updated your stats accordingly. Perfect. Perfect. Excellent. All right. Let's go see the town elder. Let's go talk to the town elder.
[01:02:10] You make your way to the village elder's home as you knock on the door and elderly women answers and grits you warmly. What brings you here, dear? She asks, you explain that you want a quest to find a dragon child and bring them before the dragon counsel.
[01:02:22] The elder nods and says, I see this is no easy task but I may be able to help you. There is a local wizard who has been studying dragons for many years. He may have some information that could be up used to you. His name is Arcturas.
[01:02:37] He lives in a tower on the outskirts of the village. The other hands you map of the area and points out to the location of Octurist Tower. Be warned though, he says. Octurist is not known for his friendly demeanor. He may be difficult to deal with. Oh shit.
[01:02:54] All right. Let's fucking do it. You should get drunk with him to lose no more. I feel a difficult people all the time. The village elder nods and smiles. I have no doubt that you'll be able to handle him. Good luck on your journey, dear. Ha ha ha.
[01:03:08] All right. Well let's go see him. Okay. Let's go talk to him. Arcturas. You can solve them up and make your way towards Octurist's tower. As you approach the tower, you see that it is rounded by thick forest and is situated on a hill overlooking the village.
[01:03:25] The tower itself is tall and imposing with a single entrance at the base. As you're not going to do it, there is no answer. However, you hear a voice from inside the tower calling out. Who was it? Ha ha ha. That any murder. Mr. Robinson. Who was it?
[01:03:44] Like we are. No. I am. We are. We are. We are. We are. We are. Like venom. Yeah. We'll say I am liar and I am looking for the dragon child. But after a moment of silence, you hear the voice again.
[01:04:01] The dragon child, you say what business do you have with them? You explained that you've been asked to find a task with finding the dragon child and bringing them before the dragon council. There is a brief pause and the door kicks open.
[01:04:14] You see an elderly man with a long white beard standing in front of you. He looks you up and down before saying come in then. We have much to discuss. You enter the tower and follow Arcturas up a spiral staircase to his study.
[01:04:28] The room is filled with books, scrolls and various arcane instruments. Arcturas sits down at a large wooden desk in motions for you to sit across from him. What do you know about dragons? Yes. What do we do? What do we make up like a ridiculous context to answer?
[01:04:45] I thought one at the top of that. I have something. I have fought dragons. Yeah. Just to see what he says. Tell them they have large horns. I know a lot of dragons. I have fun with me. They have huge horns. And weeks. Arcturas. Arcturas, chuckle softly.
[01:05:16] I see. Well, dragons are indeed powerful and majestic creatures. But the dragon child is something different altogether. They possess a unique blend of dragon and human traits, and their powers set to be unmatched. He leans forward and continues. I have heard rumors of a child with dragon-like features
[01:05:35] who have been seen in nearby forests. But be warned the child's sent to be guarded by a powerful entity. And many who have gone in search of them have never returned. What is your plan, Lyra? Yes.
[01:05:48] I didn't intend to find and bring the dragon child before the dragon capsule. I'm going to say we're going to fucking sleep in there. We're going to get there. No, a lot of dragons again. I have fought many dragons. So what is our plan?
[01:06:05] How do you go into the forest? We're going to cast a tracking spell. To track the dragon child, right? We don't have a tracking spell. We don't have a tracking spell. But he doesn't know that. Okay. Well, let's go investigate a nearby forest. Yeah.
[01:06:22] And let's go investigate the nearby forests for the dragon child. Yes. Arturus nods and says, very well. The nearby forest is known to be dangerous. But with your skills and my knowledge, we might just be able to find the dragon child.
[01:06:36] You're going to join us, so we're going to recruit him. Did we just recruit him? Right. I will provide you with a map of the area as well as a magical amulet that will allow us to communicate with each other over a lot of distances.
[01:06:47] And of course, you will need to be prepared for the dangers that await you in the forest. The hands you map of the and the amulet. And says, I think God's be with you on your journey. This is a lot of kings.
[01:07:01] You're in full late afternoon day one. Health 2020. XP 10. We demolished that axe guy by the way. He didn't even touch us. Like we created them like he was surprised. There was no crater in the fucking city. Okay. Let's head out to the nearby forest.
[01:07:22] He may have a part to play yet. Deep art for nearby forest. Yeah. The axe building man. That's the part for nearby forest. So let Daniel start reading now. Give your voice a break. Yeah. Okay. You study the map and begin your journey towards the nearby forest.
[01:07:41] The forest is thick and dense with towering trees and twisting vines. As you walk deeper into the forest, you hear the sound of rustling leaves and snapping branches. Oh, shit. Roll a D20 to see if you can successfully navigate through the forest with a bonus of plus three
[01:07:56] for your dexterity stat. Rolls a D20 13. You manage to matter. But I don't know. I don't really know. Roll 20. Are we supposed to know? Okay. 20. Yes. Right. Gotcha. So you managed to navigate through the forest without getting lost.
[01:08:15] But it takes you much longer than expected as the sun begins to set. You come across a clearing with a small campfire. I'll figure sitting there. No, it's... The figure looks up as you approach and stands up.
[01:08:28] You see that it's a tall muscular man with green skin and long pointed ears. He wears simple lower armoured carries a large bow and quiver of arrows on his back. What do you want? He asks, seeing you. Can we? I'm just... Let's ask if he's an orc.
[01:08:47] Is he a troll? Yeah, that's a troll. Yeah. Ask if he's a troll or an orc. Are you a troll? Are you a troll? I'm not a troll. I'm a troll. I'm a priest. I don't appreciate your insinuation. Oh, that's very funny. The man glares it. He says,
[01:09:10] I'm not a troll. I'm a wood elf. I don't appreciate your insinuation. That is hilarious. He then relaxes, slightly and says, But I suppose I can forgive your ignorance. What brings you to this forest? Well, we're looking for the freaking dragonborn or whatever. Drickest name again.
[01:09:31] What's the other guy's name? Octurius? I don't know. That's just what they should call me. That's what they should call me. The tower. I don't remember how to spell it. Octurius? Well, we were sent here by the man in the tower.
[01:09:46] The wood elf's expression changes from suspicion to curiosity. Octurius, you say, What business do you have with him? You explain your mission to find the dragon child and bring them before the dragon council. The wood elf listens intently and nods.
[01:10:08] I have heard rumors of a child with dragon-like features who has been seen in this forest. You say this. But be warned, there are many dangers in these woods, including trolls, goblins, and worse. If you are not careful, you may never return.
[01:10:28] He pauses for a moment before saying, What? I am willing to help you. Oh, if you are willing to help me. Oh, fuck. Of course. You see there's a pack of wolves that has been terrorizing the nearby village.
[01:10:43] They have been attacking live sock and even if you people. If you can help me take care of them, I will show you the way to the dragon child. Wow. Alright. Let's just see. Exactly what happened. You know, actually. Okay. Where are they? Can we trust this guy?
[01:11:00] Can we trust you? Should we see the pretty trustworthy? Now, we should ask our tourists if we can trust this guy. Oh, yeah. What's his name? What's this name? Say use the amulet to contact our tourists and ask him if we can trust this wood elf.
[01:11:17] Do you hang on? Let me look. I will do that. Next I'll read, but he says here. The wood elf looks you in the eye and says, you have my word. I am a man of my word and I always keep my promises.
[01:11:28] But if you don't trust me, I understand. You can go on your own if you wish. He then turns around to begin packing up his camp. Clearly you really believe. Wow. No way. No way. Let me talk to his wisdom to an amulet first. Don't go anywhere.
[01:11:44] Wait, let me. What should we say to him? I need a second opinion. In a second opinion on if no, just say don't talk to him. Just say message or message. What was it? Use the what? To the amulet. Use the amulet to ask our tourists. Our tourists.
[01:12:12] If the wood elf can be trusted. Well, we don't know the world of wood elf's name. That was his post. So who cares? You take out the magical amulet and speak into it, calling out to Arcturus. After a few moments, hear his voice on the other end.
[01:12:27] Leir eyes everything all right. Yes. You explain the situation with the wood elf and ask if he can be trusted. After a moment of silence, Arcturus says, I do not know if this what I was personally, but from what you have told me, he seems to be trustworthy.
[01:12:42] However, beyond your God, there are many who would receive do see view in this world. He then adds, remember your mission is to find the dragon child. If this what I can help you in that quest, then perhaps it is worth working with him.
[01:12:57] Let's ask the wood elf his name. Okay. All right, good idea. Excuse me, troll. The wood elf for O'S Brow and says, I told you before I'm not a troll. My name is Tarrldar. And I am a wood elf, Ranger.
[01:13:24] And what does your name if I may ask? We already told you, didn't we? I am Leira, a wizard. A wizard? Why better not cross the wizard? A wizard? The wizard? Tarrldar raises an eyebrow at your statement, but doesn't respond. Nathaniel's statement was, I am Leira, a wizard.
[01:13:45] You better not cross me. Tarrldar raises an eyebrow, but doesn't respond. So are you willing to help me with the wood elf? If we work together, we can take care of them quickly and safely. Sure, let's help. Okay. Tarrldar nods in a green. Good.
[01:14:03] The wood pack has been seen in a nearby cave. If we move quickly, we can catch them off God. He leads you deeper into the forest. And after a short while, you come across a cave entrance hidden behind a thick of bushes.
[01:14:18] You can hear the sounds of growling and snarling coming from inside. What if we're, we like doggy's and we don't want to kill wolves? Yeah. Ask them in the sleep spell. Can we train these wolves? Let's ask them.
[01:14:33] Let's ask them if you've ever trained any of the wolves from this pack. Obviously not. Never trained. I've never trained the wolves. Any wolves? Yeah. Yeah. Have you ever trained any wolves before? Tarrldar shakes his head. No, I have not. I prefer to keep my distance from.
[01:14:53] As they can be unpredictable and dangerous. I should go over the wood elf voice in oblivious. He then reduces bow and says, are you ready? We only need to be careful and work together if we're going to take down the wolf pack.
[01:15:04] I don't want to kill the wolves though. No, say it will be hard. Tell them it will be, you'll have trouble. You'll have trouble attacking wolves when they remind you so much of your pet dog. It would be like one of those chat options in the game.
[01:15:21] That's like last on the lens. On second thought, I don't think I want to kill all these wolves. I will have trouble because they remind me of my pet dog. Tarrldar looks at you with surprise and says, I understand. Wolves can be beautiful and majestic beaches.
[01:15:36] It is understandable that you would not want to harm them. He then pauses for a moment before saying, but we still need to find a way to deal with them. Perhaps you can try to scare them off without harming them.
[01:15:46] Or we could try to trap them and relocate them. Let's put them to sleep and to trap them and relocate them. Right. So we have to use a sleep spell. Do we have one? Yes. Let's use a sleep spell on the wolf pack. You gotta remember these names.
[01:16:00] You gotta write this shit down. Oh, so you want to use a sleep spell on the wolf pack to trap them and relocate them. You check your spell book and see that you do have a sleep spell that can potentially put the wolf pack to sleep.
[01:16:12] You explain your plan to Tarrldar who nods in agreement. You prepare these just like, hmm, super prepared to spell and cast it towards the wolf pack. Roll a D20 with a bonus of plus for three for your intelligent stat to see how successful the spell is.
[01:16:27] So it looks like we rolled an 18. Plus the spell is successful. And you see the wolf pack begin to yaw and droop their heads. Tarrldar quickly takes out some ropes and begins to tie up the sleeping wolves, making sure not to hurt them.
[01:16:40] After a few minutes the entire wolf pack has been tied up and is ready to be relocated. Tarrldar looks at you with a mix of admiration and surprise. I've never seen magic like I before. He says, you truly are powerful. Listen. You're a normal one. Sleep spell.
[01:16:57] All right. Well, tell him he can now re-locate the wolves and tell us what we need to know. Right. I have done my part. Now you do yours. Tarrldar nods in a green. You all right. I will show you the way to the dragon tile.
[01:17:15] He leads you deeper into the forest, navigating through the thick brush and trees with ease. After a few minutes of walking, I like that with ease because he's a widow. After a few minutes of walking, you come to a small clearing.
[01:17:27] In the center of the clearing is a young child with golden scales on their arms and a tail that ends in a tough affair. Tarrldar steps forward and says, are you the dragon child? The child nods and says, yes, I am who are you?
[01:17:44] Tarrldar introduces himself and then turns to you. This is Lyra. He says, she is here to help you. Wow. We found a dragon child. Well, we didn't get any XP from all we can ask. Did we get any XP from Sly Astin?
[01:18:02] We asked him to get XP from Sly Astin. There we go. There we go. Okay. Well, XP says 10 and before so we didn't get anything. We had to ask for the XP. What kind of shit is this man? What is this?
[01:18:15] Can you make sure to automatically update the XP after every events encounter? Certainly. I will make sure to update your XP. Okay, so we got 5 XP from successfully casting the Slyce spell and helping Tarrldar capture the wolf pack. Okay. Tell this dragon child.
[01:18:40] She needs to come with us or he. How do we know what's the real name? I can tell. Ask this dragon child. I don't know. She asks our tourists over the amulet if we can be trusted. Hello, dragon child. What is your name?
[01:18:57] The dragon child looks up at you with curious eyes and says, My name is Aaron. Who are you? What's the fucking else name? Tarrldar. TAR. Oh, god. I need these names. Tarrldar already told you my name. Did she? I am here to bring you to the Dragon Council.
[01:19:21] Maybe she meant who are you? Like who are you? What are you? Aaron looks at you and nods. I am ready to go with you. She says, But please be gentle with me. I'm just a child after all. Here will that or speaks up.
[01:19:36] I can help you escort Aaron to the Dragon Council. But it is a long and dangerous journey. Are you sure you're up for it? Wow. Okay. So it was pretty easy to find the Dragon Child. Yeah.
[01:19:47] So what's the difficult part of this quest going to be bringing this dragon child to the Dragon Council? Maybe the Dragon Council actually wants to. And that's where we have to like make a stand-out. Exactly. We don't know. They're just too easy. Ask them how far it is.
[01:20:05] How far is the Dragon Council? Just give up. Tarrldar responds. Like Ron. But Dragon Council is located in the city of White Run, which is several days journey from here. We will need to be proud well prepared for the journey. As we will be traveling through dangerous terrain
[01:20:28] and encountering many obstacles along the way, he pauses for a moment before continuing. But if we work together, I am confident that we can get Aaron to the Dragon Council's safety. Ask them if there's an airport nearby. What? What is that? What is that? A dragon port.
[01:20:48] Is there any way we can fly there? Tarrldar shakes his head. I'm afraid not. The dragon set in habit these lands are not friendly to outsiders. And it would be too risky to try and ride one.
[01:21:01] Besides, Aaron is just a child and may not be able to handle such a journey. He then looks at you and says, We will need to travel on foot and I suggest we start early tomorrow morning. We can gather supplies and rest up tonight before setting out. Okay.
[01:21:16] Okay. I want to bring one of these wolves and tame one of these wolves with us. So I'm going to ask Tellador. Tellador. Tarrldar. Yes. Ask Tellador to help you tame a wolf. Yes. And bring it with them. Okay. So it may help us on our journey.
[01:21:38] So what he says, Tarrldar looks at you with surprise. You want to tame one of the wolves? Yes. That is a bold plan, but I admire your courage. He then pauses for a moment before saying,
[01:21:50] I'm not sure how to train wolf, but I can try to help you. We will need to proct it carefully and earn its trust. It will take time and patience, but it may be worth it in the end.
[01:21:59] Together you and Tarrldar approach the wolf fact trying to find one that he or that seems the most docile. After some time, you are able to calm one of the wolves and start to gain its trust. Roll as a 20 with a 10?
[01:22:14] Roll as a 20 with a bonus of plus three for your animal handling skill. Oh, I didn't know we had that. It's a nice successful you are intangently the wolf. We rolled a 12.
[01:22:24] You are able to make some progress with the wolf, but it is still wary of you and Tarrldar. Can we feed it? Give it a little snack. Yes. Feed it. Um, some rabbit we recently caught. No, I was going to give you that rabbit you caught.
[01:22:46] Feed Tarrldar to the wolf. That's me. Some of the rabbit you caught for dinner. Holder. You take out some of the rabbit meat that you caught for dinner and offer to the wolf. The wolf sniffs the meat cautiously before taking it from your hand and eating it.
[01:23:05] As the wolf eats you and Tarrldar continue to talk it in suit. Sorry, continue to talk to eat you and Tarrldar in suiting tones trying to earn its trust.
[01:23:16] Roll a D20 with a bonus of plus three for your animal handling skill to see if the wolf's trust towards you. Increases we rolled a 19. Okay. It seems to respond well to your actions and you're able to make a significant amount of progress in tating it.
[01:23:28] By the time you finish feeding it, the wolf seems to grow more comfortable around you and Tarrldar. Tarrldar smiles and nods approvingly. Well, done. I think we may have a loyal companion on our journey. Excellent. This is fucking incredible. Okay. I can't let us gather supplies.
[01:23:50] Oh, let's get the wolf to help us hunt for supplies and then sleep for the night. Okay. First should we give it a name? Yes. Yes. We would like to name the wolf. Tarrldar looks at you and nods. A good name is important. He says,
[01:24:07] What would you like to name the wolf? The wolf looks up to you, expectantly. Sorry, the wolf looks up at you, expectantly waiting for a name because it understands you. What would you like to name the wolf? Wolfie obviously. What do we name it? Wolfie?
[01:24:22] I think easy to remember. Yeah. Boss appearance a dead. Ah. Good morgue. Oh, yeah. Let's put that in. Good morgue. You decide to name the wolf, Gmorg. The wolf seems to be on the name and looks up at you with pleased. With a pleased expression.
[01:24:41] Tarrldar smiles and nods. Gmorg it is. He says, I find name for a loyal companion. Oh, or early morning then. So we don't have to sleep right? After gathering supplies and resting head out on your journey to bring the dragon child to the dragon council.
[01:25:01] It would be cool if it through curve balls like you wake up the next morning and the dragon child is a good. I'm sure it will. I'm sure something will. You gather your supplies and prepare to set out on your journey to the dragon council in white run.
[01:25:15] Tarrldar leads the way with air and in tow and good morgue at your side. As you travel to the forest, you encounter a variety of creatures including deer, rabbits, and even a few bears. You also come across a group of bandits.
[01:25:28] But with your combined skills and abilities, you are able to defeat them and continue on your journey. Roll a D20 with a bonus of plus three for your perception skill to see if you notice anything unusual or noteworthy during your journey. We roll the 14.
[01:25:42] As you travel, you notice large stone structure in the distance seemingly abandoned. Tarrldar tells you that it used to be an ancient fort, but it has been deserted for many years. Look at this. It added that XP from that bandit encounter. That's excellent. How cool is that?
[01:25:59] It were actually fucking remembered. You know what we should do? I mean, we probably don't much have much more time left, but we should live stream us doing this. Yeah, it was in my brain, my ideas to do that.
[01:26:14] Like if we don't finish it, like we're not going to finish it, but we should live stream like the rest of it. It would be fucking funny. Okay, so should we stop here then? We've come across this edifice. Yeah, I think we could.
[01:26:27] So that'd be chapter two, the stone structure. Yeah, like how cool is that? How? That's cool. I'd like to continue this. I think we should continue this either on another episode or
[01:26:39] Or maybe live stream it and have people join us and help us with the answers and what to ask it. I was thinking of doing that in a discord, like we could stream it live and then just the chat and discord can help us. Well, okay.
[01:26:53] How about we let's try this chat and the chat and the thing. Why in discord? Or in YouTube, yeah. Why don't we finish this one together via episodes because I'm sure it's not going to take that much longer. It's probably a, yeah, I don't think so.
[01:27:06] Unless it's like in then fucking months because the D&D campaign can last. Yeah, maybe a long time. But like maybe you guys should stream like another concept like a cyberpunk world. And that'll help us for next episode. Excellent. Well, there you have it folks.
[01:27:23] The AI generated a game text adventure choose your own adventure. Wow. That was really cool. It was really cool because I have never played a D&D game campaign. Oh, I've never played exactly what you're playing. I'm not that generation. I'm a little younger than that.
[01:27:42] Kids still play it now. Yeah, our nephews are nephews play the D&D. I wonder if it'll let us kill like kick us out. But I wonder if it'll let us kill the dragon child. Like slid it throat and it's sliezacrifice it. Maybe it'll give it.
[01:27:58] Oh, to game. It's power. That is what I'm saying. What if it's like the dragon council has deceived you all along. And it actually wants to destroy the child. That would be fucking crazy. Yeah, we don't know man.
[01:28:14] We don't even see a terrorist or the elf will try to take its powers for him. Yeah. Yeah, can our tourists be trusted? Yes, exactly. We don't know. Holy shit. All right. Listeners. We need help on this one listeners.
[01:28:31] Let us know on Twitter or comment on the video what we should do to start the next chapter. And then I think we're going to do a live stream of maybe a different theme game. And let us know you can be interested in that.
[01:28:46] And you can come and join us and we're going to get people that would be funny to get people to help us, like respond to the prompts and everything like that. So thanks everyone for hanging out with us.
[01:28:58] If you're watching on YouTube, if you liked it, like and subscribe. If you want to see more, if you enjoyed the show, if you're listening to us head over. If you could give us a review on Spotify or Apple or whatever platform you are listening

[01:29:28] Join us next time, maybe for the adventures of Lira and Arcturus and Terrell Dermark. And Gomark and Terrell Dermark. I'll do some AI generated art for Terrell Dermark. Oh yes, yes. Nice. Okay, see you later.
