[00:00:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Alright, hello everybody and welcome to another episode of The Elder Trolls Gaming Podcast. If you are new in joining us, we are three brothers who get together and talk about gaming.

[00:00:39] [SPEAKER_03]: We may also talk tech TV movies and other nerdy geeky stuff too.

[00:00:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Today we have two brothers as Jonathan is not here but we're joined by two other brothers.

[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_03]: The Bros from the Friday Night Gamecast, Nick and Will special guests, How's it going boys?

[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Hello, hello. Thank you for having us on always a pleasure. It's been a minute from myself here. So

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, very, very excited to be back here with the trolls in the dungeon.

[00:01:07] [SPEAKER_04]: The dungeon is a cave, the troll cave.

[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_02]: The dungeon is a bridge.

[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_07]: Under the bridge? Yes.

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_07]: It's been a while. I'm so happy to get back out under the bridge and into the castle with you boys.

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_07]: It's been way way too long since I've hopped on the podcast and my long-winded

[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_07]: You know, rambling about video games. So I'm really happy to be here with you gentlemen. So let's get it in today. Right on.

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Right on. Today we are going to be testing the bleeding edge of AI podcast and content. Okay.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I had some epiphanys over the last couple weeks and I've got some AI ideas. Okay. Tonight

[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_03]: we attempt a video game, Jeopardy game show with an AI host where we can actually talk to the AI host

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_03]: and he hosts of Jeopardy game. It's going to be video game themed and we're going to hope that

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_03]: it goes smoothly. So before we do that, I'm just hoping I know any of this not the AI works.

[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't want to get embarrassed. I just told them to make a game. Okay.

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I told them to make a game categories. We're going to find out what the categories are whenever

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_03]: the board. I guess I sent you the board. You can actually see the categories. It shouldn't be too hard.

[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm hoping. I don't know how far he's I feel how far he's going to go back. I feel kind of

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_03]: confident. Yeah, that's one. Yeah, he might just choose like the easiest shit ever. I don't know.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I just don't know. What year is she gear a me a motor born? I was like fucking.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. I have no idea. I'm fucking. So we're going to cross that bridge when we get there.

[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_03]: But first, you know, guys, you've been having a stellar year. All these reviews you come

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_03]: out, your smashing games. Great, great episodes. I listen to you now when I'm e biking to work

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_03]: and it's been a blast. So let just tell the listeners what you guys have been up to.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_07]: Absolutely. So we thank you so much for that. It means everything to know that you gentlemen

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_07]: still listen. I look up to your show like all of the shows in the Goof Troop, obviously.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_07]: It's a bunch of friends in there and I enjoy every single one of them. But you know,

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_07]: I really definitely appreciate the front on our reviews that we've been putting in the pot.

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_07]: That's a focus that we have shifted to in these later seasons of trying to be a little bit more

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_07]: up to date with the different current games that are coming out as well as taking a moment to address

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_07]: the backlog. So obviously, you know, since May we reviewed Helldivers 2 with the friend of the

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_07]: show Eric Gess from the unlockels podcast, we talked about the Xbox Shummers. So the Xbox

[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_07]: Submer Showcase, NAVE hopped on to that episode with us and that was really fun. And then we just recently

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_07]: reviewed Will's Game of the Year Dragon Stogmatoo, Matt Stormy Get-In, and that was a blast.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_07]: If you want to get a good one, fight as pull like that, as they can. That's a good one to check out.

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, sure. I was just like, I was like, okay, no.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay. Oh, I'm here on their side. He's a good guy. He's a good guy. I enjoy the game.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_07]: I only want the actual son. Anyway, no, but we did that in our most recent episodes that we have now,

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_07]: we did a review for Tales of Conservas, Zow. We had a new friend of the show, CG Danny B. Join us

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_07]: for that, and then we also did halfway. We usually do this every year, a midway,

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_07]: year check in of what we think is going to be like the best games of the year. And so that was our

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_07]: most recent episode. And then little spoiler alert by the time this episode comes out,

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_07]: our fire emblem fates review will already be alive. So that's dropping. Yeah, hopefully tomorrow.

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Tomorrow. Yeah tomorrow. Right on. A Friday night. Friday night.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I apologize. I had no notes because I was brainstorming this jeopardy thing all week, but what happens

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_03]: in my life now? We just finished painting the baby room. Okay. Okay. Let's look at a good

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_03]: college of it or what? Oh, it's a very light pink with a green accent, while like a light

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_03]: green accent wall. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. And then there's going to be some

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_03]: flower. I think they're putting like, like wallpaper sticker things that kind of instead of painting them

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_03]: on, they just stick on. And it's like vines and flower vines and stuff like that. On the accent wall

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_03]: and going onto the pink wall, it's going to be pretty cool. It's going to be pretty cool.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, that baby's come in soon. Oh, god. There we go. There. It's so long.

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Welcome to our ranks. Sir. Yeah. I mean, that gets doctor or father. Yes, please let me know

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_04]: if you can. I kind of tips her. Number one tip. I'm going to give you is the first two months.

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_04]: They're going to be hell. There's no avoiding it. Yeah. So when just just hold them. Yeah. I'm

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_03]: psyched. I'm psyched myself up for that. I think I think I think I'd the expectations I have are very

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I think controlled right now. I'm just expecting the worst like I do with everything smart smart,

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_03]: you know, like it just expect the worst coming into anything new and then handle it while as it comes

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_03]: at, you'd be prepared as much as you can. Like I'm taking some baby classes and all this stuff. They

[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_03]: like, I'll be prepared is when it hits me in, you know, a. B classes like how to be a baby,

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_03]: how to how to how to like how to like how to like a baby. How to shit like a baby. I feel like a

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_05]: hell that one. Exactly. Exactly. To be able to relate to my daughter. So walk around and

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_04]: diapers all day. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. I feel like Nate is confirmed like that one

[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Yakuza NPC that always is like, like he's the summons that he comes in and does the big

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_03]: blast and his diaper. I see an elder troll shirt there. Nick, that's right. That's right. You know,

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_07]: I was going to say you have been killing it Nate on the merchandising for your show. You know,

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_07]: the brand. You can take the merchandising. So, you know, I had to go ahead and get the,

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_07]: the Elden Ring shadow of the Ertree branded elder trolls merch because this design is just too

[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_07]: cool man. And I just want to wrap you guys. So it's awesome. Yeah. Well, thank you, boys. Thank you.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you. Well anything going on with you other than baby growing and getting bigger and walking

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_04]: around and jumping off a stuff. You know, you really say 18 months. Yeah, 18 months. So almost two

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_04]: year we're getting there. We're getting there. Wow. No, it's been a blast. Right. Man, every stage is more fun.

[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Every stage is more crazy. So I don't know, you just have a real fun adventure on your hands, man. Because

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_03]: it's, it's awesome. I'm looking forward to it. I'm actually looking forward to it's the first

[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Doug first kid in the family in 10, 10 years. Oh, so he's going to be spoiled. Oh, yeah,

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_06]: guys. Yeah. 11 Samuels is going to be 12. And this is the first, this is like the first girl in

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_06]: immediate family kind of in like four after years. Goodness gracious. That's it. That's been

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_06]: all. He's been a long, long time. Yeah. Um, Daniel, anything going on? I mean, other than the

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_06]: usual, nothing to report really. You know, we're kind of just this weekend replanting on I got a

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_06]: bachelor thing this weekend. My buddy. Oh, so we're going to Montreal. I think we're going to be doing

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_06]: like some potentially ski shooting, but also maybe go carding. Oh, ghost verdiner and shit

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_06]: and then just do whatever at night, stay the night and come back Sunday. And then Sunday, I think we

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_06]: plan to move the cat out of the studio here because I kind of want to start getting things set up

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_06]: and here the way they should be like I've got cool ideas for you know, neon signs and shit and lighting

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_06]: so that maybe at one point I get a visual going on here and it'll cool in the background. We got

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_06]: shelves. I got to set up, but also going to start planning some sound absorption. There's these

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_06]: things called this is a company called it. This is not a paid, it's not a paid endorsement. Okay,

[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_06]: but we don't want blank. We don't want blank. Let's just say this is a company that does like

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_06]: felt sound absorption panels that you can like they have a calculator on their website where

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_06]: you can type in the dimensions or what I would calculate so much you might need and there's

[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_06]: really cool pre-designs that you can get and like all sorts of colors and you can just make custom

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_06]: designs and it's all used for acoustic absorption. So I'm going to, I'm probably going to go

[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_06]: that road because it would just be totally cool to deck out the room in brand colors. You know,

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_06]: get a cool rug get the desk set up properly and blah, blah, blah and then that way I can start monitoring

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_06]: here and get the cat out of here so start doing some cleaning and dusting and blah, blah. So

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_06]: that's the plan but other than that, we're going well you know, but it's just busy like this shift

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_06]: work sucks. Shocker, you know, shocker. So that's pretty much it. I don't get out of bed

[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_03]: unless it's a 95. You know, I know, but you're also not a musician who others like, I don't know what

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna do for the rest of my fucking life. I kind of need a full-time job if I'm not teaching.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_06]: I've had like 18 different jobs, you know, 18 different counters. The other day, I think I was

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_06]: something like around 15 or some shit close to 15 different jobs. 15. Yeah, that's, that's commitment.

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_06]: I think it was like, what? That's the first to really 10 and 15 jobs. Megat and I were counting them

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_06]: at the over on the way to Toronto. So but that's just what it takes.

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, indeed. But it is what it is. We hear now. We hear. Yeah, sir.

[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. So we're going to head into game time next, but first a word from our VR sponsors.

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_07]: I promise I won't go on for 25 minutes, Nate. I swear. I swear I won't do it.

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_07]: Don't look at me like that. That's good because the fan will with the 200 fucking games is

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_07]: like that. All right, so I am going to keep it, I'm going to keep it, you know,

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_07]: earlier in the show just kind of in terms of what Friday night gamecast has going on. We do have

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_07]: our fire emblem fates review that is dropping the basically tomorrow, which is this coming Friday

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_07]: as the data that we're recording right now. And that game finished I think I think because I don't

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_07]: I have to look at my 3DS file but I put around 4D to 45 hours and it fire him with fates.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_07]: If you know anything about fire him with franchise, it's the game that people love to dunk on

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_07]: because holy shit, the narrative and the story in that game is trash. The fan service is stinky.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_07]: It is this the latest one? No fates, fates was the last 3DS game before we went to switch

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_07]: and it was the one right before 3 houses. But what I will say about it is that you know,

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_07]: to its credit and we go in death on this, you know, in the podcast so I want you to listen to that

[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_07]: podcast but just very briefly like it is actually like when it comes to map design and strategic combat

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_07]: like the core of what fire in the game is, it's actually excellent. Like the map designs in this

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_07]: game are way better than some of the stuff that we had seen in the early game boy advanced error for

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_07]: fire emblem and they introduced a lot of new mechanics kind of like the pair up system as well as

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_07]: like the dragon veins that are in the maps and then also just cool map design with and I played

[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_07]: on the conquest because there are three different routes. There's the birthright route where you

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_07]: play as a samurai that's meant for new players, the conference route where you play is the European

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_07]: white colonist clan that's the one that I chose because anyway I so I did that one and then

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_07]: I get out again okay but no I did play that one and that one is actually geared towards veteran

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_07]: players it is actually really difficult they don't allow you to grind in that so you have to be

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_07]: strategic about how you're using your units and upgrading them, etc. etc. So I play that one and then

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_07]: there is a revelation out which is like the Nintendo fucking shitty $20 DLC they make you buy to

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_07]: finish the game it's seriously some who finish the game. Yeah, yeah, listen up. To get the true

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_07]: ending because each of the different like birthright and conquest they have their own endings each

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_07]: of those are like equally unsatisfactory so revelation is like quote unquote the true ending for

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_07]: the fantasy franchise and they put it behind a paywall. Yes exactly. Wow, interesting. And

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_07]: the thing that Fire Emblem generally does is they allow you to download like a free DLC or maybe

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_07]: sometimes it's a very cheap DLC for so you can actually grind in buff your units and collect

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_07]: more gold so you can buy the best equipment for all your units and stuff this time like they did

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_07]: the same thing as they did with revelations they put it behind like a 10 or $15 people to allow

[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_07]: you to grind your units and there's like a bunch of other DLCs and stuff. And there but the

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_07]: problem is that the 3DS stores down. Yeah, correct. And if I wanted to buy like the only way I would

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_07]: be able to play the revelations route is if I bought the special edition of that game which is

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_07]: horrible when you look at it from the uncaused innovation perspective. Yeah. And so it's just it was an

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_07]: Nintendo chasing trends it was 2016 Overwatch one had come out they were looking at monetizing the

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_07]: block out of the IP so it is what it is you got to meet it where it is today but still you know

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_03]: definitely worthwhile for the hardcore fans that is insane like you would think like when they're

[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_03]: doing all this stuff and they've got this store like the 3DS store they've got this digital store okay

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_03]: what in what universe is it okay to shut that store down how much how how much how could it possibly

[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_03]: like a company the size of Nintendo can't have a little team that just keeps this store going.

[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah well I mean and that's something that I think you guys might have more of a better

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_07]: perspective on it because you have a very like an in-depth knowledge on how that back end architecture

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_07]: works but you know we were kind of we were going back and forth on the podcast when I was reviewing

[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_07]: it with Jala and we were talking about how like I imagined that they're looking at it from a

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_07]: cord number specific it costs me a resource time and money not only to play the pay the technicians

[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_07]: to do maintenance on the servers that they run that shop on but then obviously to just keep the

[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_07]: servers up and running period and so they're looking at whatever their like user base who

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_07]: doesn't have a 3DS anymore it doesn't even use the 3DS anymore instead they're on the switch

[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_07]: servers right so but I just don't know like are we talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars a year

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_03]: or is it like you know what like to grand the space for like I think a lot of it is to do

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_03]: with the space like the storage group that how many 3DS games could there are there yeah right

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_03]: how fucking big could they possibly be a gigabyte yeah maybe not even a PlayStation game was

[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_06]: quite a big experience i tried to uh my buddy thrill house was like Daniel they're going to

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_06]: shut down the 3DS store so you might want to go update everything as soon as you can and then like

[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_06]: you know that way everything's updated blah blah blah and I was like okay I'll go to shots like

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_06]: open my 3DS and I went to go sign in to like the e-shop and I was using the right password and

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_06]: everything I could not get through this fucking thing so I also think that there's sort of a

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_06]: dated software issue that happens to over time where it's like it just doesn't communicate properly with

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_06]: like the software of the operating system or whatever I don't know what the problem was but I think

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_06]: this thing's also just get dated and so the user experienced diminishes as well because like you

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_06]: can't fucking use the thing properly I could even log into my e-shop yeah I could not log in with my

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_06]: password and email so I don't know that could also be an issue is too many people just can't get in

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_06]: it's like it's useless for them to keep to upkeep I don't know yeah I was having huge problem so

[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_06]: as fuck this I'm done I'm not updating it so I didn't go I see how slowly they're bringing it

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_03]: onto their like cloud platform like the um the online the switch online like the shlowly adding

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_03]: one game at a time like so if it were if I was an Nintendo brain right to appease the absolute

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_03]: loyal fan base because like we don't we don't go anywhere else to play your games right you can't

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_03]: go anywhere else to play your games yet you take down this 3DS door and you trickle

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_03]: game some terrible games even to these switch online yeah then yeah if I were them to appease fans

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_03]: you would just bring all those in all of them bring them all into the switch online you know how

[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_07]: but value that would be yeah but I mean I I feel like Nintendo treats their IP and they treat

[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_07]: their um a lot of their games the same way that Disney looks at a lot of their old movies from

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_07]: the 90s they lock them up in the vault because they know that it has value this demographic and

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_07]: it has all of that cashier with us so it's like when the original Lion King releases on whatever

[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_07]: they know that we're gonna do whatever to buy the blue rays or whatever the fucking it may be

[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_07]: the digital digital marketplace consumption has changed so much not only because of COVID but because

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_07]: of how we started treating the rise of streaming platforms and everything like that and I don't

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_07]: necessarily think that correlates directly to the way that Nintendo utilizes it I just think that

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_07]: they constantly I mean everybody always says it's like the thing that everybody in the popular

[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_07]: game industry podcast say it's like they're always making weird Nintendo decisions and most of those

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_07]: decisions from my perspective are because they're trying to protect their copyright from a legal

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_07]: perspective or they're trying to you know look at it in maintain like say that it's like the value

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_07]: right and that's what's kind of still true and interesting about the way that we consume like

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_07]: switch products today is like when we go out and buy and like an Nintendo Switch game like I've been

[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_07]: trained now that I'm gonna go to a game stop or not game stop because they're fucking terrible but

[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_07]: whatever local retailer I can find and then buy a copy like a physical copy of the Nintendo Switch

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_07]: cartridge because of exactly what they're doing with the game's previous system so it's

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_07]: but the the nice part is is that in the second hand like retail space the game still maintain their

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_03]: value yeah oh yeah like I wanted to buy a scarlet again because I beat Scarlet and I sold it

[00:21:39] [SPEAKER_03]: I bought I think the new Zelda game nice whatever was and then I was like well with the new DLC coming out

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll try to sell my Pokemon Diamond Blue or whatever the hell it was called the remake for

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Switch and everyone was still selling violet for like 60 bucks Canadian yeah and I was like

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_03]: come on trade me trade me for my Pokemon my blue diamond no one no one fucking took it but like

[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_03]: that's like you hit it on the the head there whenever I just want

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Pokemon Blue or red to get on to the Switch online store that's all I really want

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_03]: you know I don't understand why they haven't gave us that game yet one was the last time we were

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_03]: able to play that game officially and without pirating that game I mean just play I had to go

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_03]: media let's go Pikachu that's probably what they're like yeah but yeah but it's the only

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_03]: retro game that I like to go back and play that you care about yeah that I care about you know

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_03]: you didn't have it you didn't have it in a 3DS it was on 3DS like fire yes I have red on

[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_03]: off not I want the original but I want the game boy original like the pixel in the little

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_06]: yeah greens I want everything yeah yeah yeah but you know just that's pretty much what it is

[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm pretty sure it's black and white and it's fucking pixelated a shit that's why it's the fire

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_03]: and what does it fire emblem right that's it anything could it could be a

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_07]: one that yeah it's the Pokemon fire red yeah we're leaf green you know one of the one of

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_03]: the two no those are the one yeah leaf greens that was the one that they remastered right

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_03]: yeah yeah man there's so much yeah but but you know outside of outside of that you know

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_07]: obviously putting the Nintendo Switch down I have been playing the game that both you and

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Jonathan are intimately familiar with balder's gate three oh I am almost done I am almost done

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_07]: with act one I'm playing a high- health barred I am completely taller I love barking in BZ

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_07]: bar to so good so yeah I and Daniel you would appreciate this specifically as well because of how

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_07]: closely they pay attention to music in this game the music is just brilliant overall Boris Avalov

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_07]: like I did like what I heard it's insane the amount of production that he was able to put in

[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_07]: specifically playing as a barred you're able to go around and collect instruments in the

[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_07]: overworld so you can play on a loot or you can play on a flute I chose to play on a flute

[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_07]: there's like a couple of different ones you can even play on drums but they have songs

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_07]: that are written specifically for each instrument and then there's another NPC called alfira

[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_07]: who teaches you like certain songs and then you can like do have an interaction with her

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_07]: play and melody so anyway balder gate three obviously gave me the advantage of my story

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_07]: in insanely expansive like I think about like the narrative branching paths of that game

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_07]: and just the scope of writing something that large in that long boggles my mind but anyway

[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_07]: I cleared out the goblin camp I started on the way towards the githyanki crush area of

[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_07]: I think is what it's called and I was told by friends to not do that yet so I went back and

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_07]: I cleared the goblin camp I saved the emerald grove this is not really spoilers but it is a little bit

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_07]: so regardless but now I am getting ready to go into the underdark and do the underdark area

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_07]: I want to go into the the forge and all that cool stuff so I'm very very excited for that

[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_07]: but I've also been playing you know I'm my strategy RPG bullshit I'm playing unicorn overlord

[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_07]: and boy boy I fucking tried to aim I didn't even understand what the hell was going on

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_07]: ah they're not my fight exactly you gotta you gotta take your time you gotta go into your units

[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Nate you gotta adjust the order of operations you're not like more boring chess play unicorn overlord

[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_07]: I will not hear any fucking slander okay I have like eight wife in that game

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_07]: you're a white one

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_07]: anyway but yeah that's that's great but that's that's kind of what I've been up to recently

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_03]: uh boulders gait 3 I went the under underground row as well apparently you can not even go down there

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_03]: really it's you know in the end I wish I would have took more time with the game

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_03]: uh to be honest I even though my playthrough was like almost a hundred hours I still felt like I missed so

[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_07]: much yeah I'm believeably crazy yeah no that's insane I mean and I'm scraping I'm I can pull up my

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_07]: steam page right now I'm scraping my face my character off of every single texture I'm open up every

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_07]: single crate and I'm not even done with that one I'm 15 53.4 hours in so take a look at what you will

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_03]: man enjoy it it is one it's gotta be it's it I don't want to say the best game ever made but it's like

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_03]: top three for me it's it's a game of the decade for sure hmm all right all right well what's up

[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_04]: all right let's do it in a week after 20 minutes I'm not gonna take 20 minutes taking

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_07]: time I said 25 minutes and I didn't take that long so there you go I don't know if we can't

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_04]: your break then yeah you do but I got one game because I've talked about a couple of different

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_04]: games that I was playing if you want to hear about all this stuff I'm playing currently

[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_04]: then unfortunately you gotta go listen to our podcast yeah hop over there listen to the last

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_04]: couple episodes but one game that I did leave off when we were talking about the mid year games

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_04]: was a game that I was very much on the fence of so I left it off because I was gonna give it a chance

[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_04]: oh and God damn it it stood up to that chance it's doing a great job so far it is one of those

[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_04]: beautiful free game-pass games quote unquote free this game is called Flintlock siege of war

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_04]: season dawn really dawn really really really I'm all let me hear it let me hear it

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_04]: you realize I'm gonna evangelize I may be able to get you on board because I think what

[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_04]: you also playing um loads of the fallen you look like you know okay so right off the bed

[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_03]: not the same game this is not a soul okay okay everyone saying souls I think people just like

[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_03]: the call shit souls like they do and you know what I mean the main thing is there are certain

[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_04]: parts of the game that are very souls like but this is more of a souls light LIT L-Y-T-E whatever you

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_04]: want to call however it has the similar trappings you're playing in a game that puts you in either one

[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_04]: one or maybe one on three to four fighting scenarios where every hit you take matters

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_04]: you have a estis flask type potion system where you know between these places where you can

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_04]: stop and completely refresh and re-heal yourself you have maybe three or four

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_04]: potions that you can take to reveal your health and then as you continue and play through the game

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_04]: you can unlock more of those potions to stretch out the times between you going to these different

[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_04]: pots to rest in heal and at that previous you mentioned you have your fires you know your

[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_04]: bonfires they're like statues that you go to but that your healing spots you stop there you

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_04]: trade in your experience to level up you uh use that to you know fast travel across the world

[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_04]: and then of course you can rest which responds all of the normal mobs on the map that you've

[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_04]: got killed and then it gives you your stuff back very dark souls right we're right next we're right

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_04]: things start getting different one it has this thing that I think I want to say it's very unique

[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_04]: and I don't know if it's the unique as and I've never seen it before other people haven't

[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_04]: seen it before but it's really my first time seeing it but there's a gambling system with the

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_04]: experience so think of it this way oh I kill a normal enemy and they're worth 10 experience now

[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I have that 10 experience no matter what however as I fight that enemy as well as other enemies

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_04]: every move I do that's different for example if I hit someone three times with an axe each hit

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_04]: count separately if I hit somebody three times with a sword that also counts separately these

[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_04]: different moves that I'm doing paris magic etc all of that builds towards a multiplier so eventually

[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I can maybe have 10 experience from killing that one guy times 50 so then if I were to hit

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_04]: left on the D pad it multiplies my banked experience of 10 times 50 and then that's what it gives

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_04]: me however if at any point during me getting that chain up to 50 or whatever I want to stop at

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I get hit by enemy one time yes I still keep that 10 experience but it just gives me the 10 no bonus

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_03]: so you got a bank it though to bet to get exactly to get to get the bonus you have to bank it

[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_04]: but if you just want to maybe I'm 10% and or 10 times in and I have my 10 experience

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I can be like I think I'm gonna get hit soon let me go ahead and cash this get it all so it's very

[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_04]: much like are you going to be fancy and do different moves and go out and put yourself at harms away

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_04]: for more experience which you can use to level up faster or buy items because

[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_04]: unfortunately like dark souls you your experience from killing enemies is your currency as well as your

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_04]: you know left-link currency so it's both or are you going to kind of cash in any time you get a

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_04]: chance because then you know you have maybe a guaranteed times two times three which isn't as much

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_04]: but you're getting that experience so I find that very interesting and I do kind of flip flop

[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_04]: depending on how comfortable I'm feeling even during the day so sometimes I'm like firing all

[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_04]: cylinders are on I'm weaving and then I'm not getting hit so I can let my multiplier get up to like 30

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_04]: 40 and feel comfortable cashing and then otherwise I'm getting the shit be that of me some nights

[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm getting out of fights with especially a new enemy right I don't know the America they're moves

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_04]: said I don't know what they do if I kill them or I come across them and I have you know a five

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_04]: experience times I'm just gonna go and cash that now because I don't want to lose right okay

[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_07]: and my question is about when you talk about cashing in your experience can you do that on the fly at

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_07]: any point or do you have to go to a checkpoint? Nope you can do that midfiel if you want to so

[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_04]: for example I get into a fight with an enemy I see them do some crazy shit I've never seen before

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_04]: and I'm like the next time they do that that will hit me I can in the middle of the fight

[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_04]: cash out everything I have keep my experience and then when I get hit I don't technically

[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_07]: lose anything cool yeah when we talk about like at least the souls like verson it sounds like

[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_07]: when we talk about just flip locks each of dawn being in souls like it's in the jet eye fallen

[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_07]: order survivor yes genre which is souls like like it's not like they share some of the similarities

[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_04]: but it's very loose yep it's very loose you know the world is not super foreboding and like it

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_04]: doesn't make you want to not continue like sometimes the soul games it does and I don't I don't

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_04]: consider it like they do the shortcuts and different things for it to kind of layer back on itself

[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_04]: but the fast travel system is so free like once you unlock a point you can just go anywhere on the

[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_04]: map and then pick it and then fast travel so it's not that bad so I don't consider it as like

[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_04]: a librarian the end or is oppressive as some of the other dark souls bloodborne,

[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_04]: securo games can feel very colorful this game is you have a magical companion with you named

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Anke you helps you when you're fighting and you can do different moves with so you're not just

[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_04]: lone lone man lone woman fighting against the elements right you have somebody with you talks in

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_04]: chats and of course your main character nor who is fully voiced will also chat and talk

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_04]: about the different things happening throughout the story so it's definitely not a soul's game

[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_04]: it's very much its own thing or at least it tries to be in quite a few different places I also

[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_04]: find a platforming really nice and refreshing you get a double jump you get a double jump and a

[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_04]: dash which can be an air dash as well so you can do a lot of movement in that game so once again

[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_04]: not bad as far as the comparisons to like fall in order and survivor because you have a lot of

[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Perry then it does you straight up blocking an enemy's attack okay do you dodge or you dodge

[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_04]: and constantly or is it it's a more Perry system you can dodge constantly too because you your

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_04]: stamina a lot of the time is for sprinting when you're in fight doing dodging it doesn't affect

[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_04]: you that much so you can really build yourself very agile during your fights yeah and then when

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_04]: it comes to maybe overall exploration is the only time you have to worry too much about your stamina

[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_04]: occasionally during fights you have to worry about stamina too but I haven't had too many issues

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_04]: where I find myself in the middle of a fight you know scrambling for stamina and having to

[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_03]: like wait for it to recharge hmm okay so yeah it definitely sounds like a lighter version

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_03]: with with how you can bank that stuff because like say your halfway through

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_03]: your your campfire adventure right and here you're you need to get to campfire and then you

[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_03]: come across a correct me if you come across like a band of these enemies and your your

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_03]: whip on them right but then you you have a feeling it's gonna go south right you can bank that stuff

[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_03]: right yep now when you die that bank that doesn't disappear now that is another dark

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_04]: souls thing that sticks with anything that you have on your character that you know you haven't

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_04]: used as far as leveling up is like the souls or like the let's say etc so yeah if you were to

[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_04]: you just gotta go back to where it is you only have to you don't have to hit the enemy or anything

[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_04]: like they do it survive or you have to just touch your blood spot touch where you die that last and then

[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_04]: you can get all your stuff back and then skiddattle hmm okay how's the character writing like

[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_04]: what are you doing in this game it's perfectly fine it's very standard nothing that's really

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_04]: jumped out of me as far as like wow this is like some story off the beaten path type stuff

[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_04]: your character is a part of this group that's holding back the undead zombies you come across an

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_04]: ancient god that's like a part of the zombie hoard you get knocked out you wake up in your

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_04]: with a magical creature and the magical creature is also a god who's like I want to help you

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_04]: kill the other gods and of course your character hates the gods now because they try to knock you out

[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_04]: so now you're just on a you know your your crados now you're ready to kill some guy yeah so

[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_04]: it sounds like god or one yeah you just so it's not anything I would say the character

[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_04]: interactions between like noran and ki who's your magical character your magical companion

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_04]: have been really fun as you're unlocking more spells and moves together and learning about each other

[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_04]: throughout the story um they're having a really nice kind of back and forth and um and they tend to

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_04]: talk quite a bit as far as during combat or start during combat as well as during exploration

[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_04]: which is really nice and their conversation back and forth has been good you have a couple of

[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_04]: little side characters that you're picking up for your uh can't group as you go along and those

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_04]: have been varying levels of okay you have like your your old man who raised you like his own daughter

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_04]: and he's fine he's perfectly cool like you know they're easy you got this grizzled armor that

[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_04]: you just picked up and him and the old man or friends and haven't had a whole lot of interaction with

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_04]: him but nothing bad nothing good and then this new person I just picked up was like one of my

[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_04]: old friends and he seems like something's a little off with him after the the god's attack this so

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess they're just gonna figure out a little bit more I'm about halfway through the game I think

[00:37:24] [SPEAKER_04]: there may be two major maps you know about at the end of the first map going into the second map

[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_04]: so it's been fun I've been joined it so far I would say it's a thing that once again

[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_04]: gave me a pleasant surprise not so much as far as like man this might be game of the year status or anything

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_04]: but I have not unenjoyed any of my time especially when I talk about the platforming too there's

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_04]: some parts called the riffs where your character can kind of fly through you may recognize that

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_04]: if you were called any of the trailer some of the game but there's just big purple floating things

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_04]: and they're effectively shorter or maybe longer checkpoints that you can unlock as you unlock them

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_04]: you and your character just fly to them and you can chain them together so you're literally just

[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_04]: just stepping around the map once you've unlocked them and it just looks really cool every time

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm in them like I hop out of it and it just feels awesome. Is there like so the I'm assuming

[00:38:16] [SPEAKER_03]: the levels are more like linear kind of like you're going from A to B or is it kind of like pretty

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_04]: open more yeah they're going open actually like the the levels the world that I'm in right now

[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_04]: it's kind of just like it drops you in and lets you go in whatever direction there is a path

[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_04]: that you should progress for the main story but as you're going through that path you know you

[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_04]: turn a left instead of a right and then it's like hey I found a shortcut now I can go back quickly

[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_04]: to zone one from zone two versus having to go the long way not like Pinocchio souls right where

[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_04]: it was pretty much like you go straight yeah it's not I wouldn't say it's not as it's definitely

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_04]: not as linear as a P because a P kind of has that bloodborne syndrome where it's like yeah it looks

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_04]: really cool and dense but really you're going down one street yes yeah when this game you're definitely

[00:39:05] [SPEAKER_04]: moving down a kind of a single-ish path but it breaks off until like little branches so it

[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_04]: gives you like a little mini choose your own adventures and sometimes in like for example I went off

[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_04]: on one complete path that I have no reason to go to there's no side questions or anything down there

[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_04]: but then you get to the end of it you'd be to really hard guy and then I got a cool sword at the end

[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_04]: so they have a couple of interesting little secrets tucked away as well if you're willing to go

[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_03]: check them out cool man just talking about that makes me want to play Liza P again

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_03]: because did you fully you fully beat that right yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_04]: he's really interesting I haven't been but it is probably my favorite Dark Souls game so far like

[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Dark Souls game so good I loved it any honorable mentions real quick before we pass over to

[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Danny boy did you beat Kenny to Gami yet no I did not think Kenny to Gami I refuse to be

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_04]: to go with that I refuse to be the game that good because you say how to make a name and

[00:40:06] [SPEAKER_04]: did perform you you capsule what are you now can I let me leave this beaten 50 games this year

[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_04]: you know because that's supposed to mean I'm not keeping up with him you're right you're like anybody

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_04]: can really but now I'm still playing can it's you got me still fire still recommend everybody go buy

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_04]: that game with your hard on money forget game it goes spend money on that game because it's worth

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_04]: it's a capital commuter dollars you know we're not even sponsored by them what the fuck

[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_07]: you're gonna make you reach out to Capcom you were saying with how hard your fucking

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_04]: rep in the same now okay there's struggling company they're releasing monster hunter in a

[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_04]: fledgling game never been seen before on western shores they need your money monster hunter while

[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_07]: it's coming out on all platforms later this year the dinosaur shooting one didn't do very well

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_07]: we need he loved it so primal too he loved exo primal it was a fun actually I rocked with

[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_03]: and that was a point game I I just mind it I thought I was fun then what's up let me guess

[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_06]: see if thieves I did play what there you go yeah it was at first scary because I was like I may never

[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_06]: play an online game again oh yep but like the lag was just it was intolerable like I couldn't

[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_06]: you know what's the word like disappearing and just like uh uh operating in another location like

[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_06]: it was very very bad but then it cleared up so I don't know what that was about um but I was able

[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_06]: to like play a session with our nephew because he asked if I want to play so it's like okay I'll

[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_06]: try it out to that work fine now speaking of see if thieves my bone to pick very quick get the

[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_06]: you cannot play high sees mode that is say against other crew members unless you are purchasing

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_06]: a game pass subscription wow okay I bought the fucking game digital because I was like I want

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_06]: to own this game I don't want to pay for game pass just to play see if thieves when it turns out

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_06]: exactly what you are required to do so I loaded up see if thieves and I was like it was like the

[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_06]: picket game mode and it's like a high sees was like unavailable but I see safer sees just like

[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_06]: the open world pv I guess yeah it's the original version of the game where you play online against

[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_06]: other people wow so you have to be subbing to game pass in order to play the see if thieves version

[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_06]: of the game that like is the base game that's like the OG players that I've been that I've been

[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_06]: playing like four 500 hours in yes I'm sure I went to go tap it it's like you need a game pass

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_06]: subscription to play high sees and I was like that is greasy that is blocking stupid now I want

[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_06]: to refund on the digital version of my game because it's pointless to me it's useless I mean like

[00:43:10] [SPEAKER_06]: and keep it in just place safer sees if I want to just go in the safer sees is what a single player

[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_06]: it's like single player or you can do co-op together with nobody else in the server okay so

[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_06]: you can do like can I join you in safer sees and we can play that yeah and we can do like

[00:43:29] [SPEAKER_03]: voyages against like so yeah so it seems like it seems like it's um behind that multiplayer

[00:43:37] [SPEAKER_03]: subscription that all the other games are behind you know what I mean like having you have to have

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_03]: that least the core anyway gold used to be yeah to play online so maybe that's what they're doing

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_06]: but but what's idiotic is that if you have it on steam on PC you're not faced with this issue

[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_06]: you can just play fucking online against people like it's stupidest exclusive bullshit likes

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_06]: PC doesn't ever really like just because extra wow yeah just because I have it on Xbox

[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm forced to fucking sub to game pass to play online against other players it's the most bullshit

[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_06]: like I was very very upset I'm not as angry about it now as hard as that is to believe

[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_06]: but anyway so I'm gonna move on from that very very bogus I'm assuming if you buy the game on

[00:44:26] [SPEAKER_03]: PlayStation now you would have to have a PlayStation plus to play high-sees mode as I don't know

[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_06]: is what I'm missing yeah that could be the case that could be the case or it's just an Xbox exclusive bullshit

[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_06]: thing that they're trying to get I don't know I don't know wow build a little bit of that geez

[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_06]: I've uh I've been playing I downloaded Moria so I returned to Moria Lord of the Rings return to Moria

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_06]: so we've been playing that a little bit we tried that yes I did a little bit of solo too very cool

[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_06]: actually really enjoy it the like the inner trossinematic is very cool the voice acting is great

[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_06]: the music's cool it's got that classic kind of Lord of the Rings feel feels good to play especially

[00:45:08] [SPEAKER_06]: when you're just playing solo on the PS5 60 FPS nice and responsive so I'm enjoying that and would

[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_06]: like to play more and of course it looks awesome on the OLED with all the torch light at night

[00:45:18] [SPEAKER_06]: and then the sunlight coming through the holes in the roof and stuff or in the the the the holes you

[00:45:23] [SPEAKER_06]: know all that so it looks really cool I'd like to play a little bit more that it's kind of a cool story

[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_06]: you are just kind of trying to help Gimli reclaim Moria after the events of Lord of the Rings

[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_06]: spoiler alert Gimli doesn't die in Lord of the Rings what a very unique game because

[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_06]: so there's that I also have I just pick up stray again and with playing stray and I put a few more hours

[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_06]: into that and I think I'm kind of nearing yeah think of kind of nearing the end like

[00:45:52] [SPEAKER_06]: what did I do last I reached like the city outside the sewers and I'm looking I found this

[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_06]: panelope who's going to help me or who I'm going to join the resistance with whatever it's

[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_06]: trying to like make it into the outside world so I think there's probably only a few hours left of that

[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_06]: but it's pretty intense pretty intense gameplay it's not relaxing at times that's weird times

[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_04]: it can really really stressful that chase sequence early on yeah I'm like wait a minute

[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_06]: yeah yeah so that's been really cool but those are kind of I guess the only ones really don't

[00:46:28] [SPEAKER_06]: think I'd played anything else those were the ones that I've been just kind of trying to get through

[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_06]: you know animal crossing still trying to catch shit and like fill up my museum that's the goal

[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_06]: really and it's going okay been catching shit but it's all seasonal you know so you got to play the

[00:46:44] [SPEAKER_06]: game through a life's age in order to collect everything because you won't be able to catch it during

[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_03]: X month yeah that's me young nickel I did you have any questions for Dan and his uh

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_07]: sea of thieves well I did have one comment to make and it was talking about you know when Dan

[00:47:00] [SPEAKER_07]: was going back in you know talking about you know he's covetching if he will about you know the game

[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_07]: pass subscription I was like so it sounds like to me the answer to all your problems is you need to let

[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_07]: build you you know a rise in nine you know forty ninety with you know dbr five ram and some like

[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_07]: you know a couple couple of like two terabyte SSD drive PC right thanks just like two grand two

[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_03]: two grand US dollar build you know it's just like work right now I just finished building our buddies

[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_03]: PC he had bought a Dell like four years ago I dreamed to hell yeah I know yeah pre-pandemic

[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_03]: and it was uh it was whenever was impossible to get a graphics card yeah but Dell was putting the

[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_03]: graphics card in their pre-build gaming machines right so he's like oh well I'll just get a Dell

[00:47:50] [SPEAKER_03]: and so I can get that graphics card right so he buys the computer and then pass forward to like two

[00:47:57] [SPEAKER_03]: weeks ago it shits on him and the amount of work to transfer pieces from the Dell to like a brand new

[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_03]: build like I was like oh we can just use the motherboard we'll use the CPU we'll use the ram

[00:48:10] [SPEAKER_03]: we'll just put it into a new case you know and sit you up with a new power supply yaddi addiada right

[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_03]: can't fit the motherboard in a regular case off the shelf because of the way Dell shapes their

[00:48:21] [SPEAKER_03]: motherboards really like it's not just a normal ATX like mentor it's fucked it's like shape like

[00:48:27] [SPEAKER_03]: it's hell fucking stupid proprietary bullshit that was number one number two the SSD that

[00:48:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Dell used was a 30 millimeter m.2 which is like a tiny little SSD that no motherboard has

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_03]: mounts for yeah so we had to get another SSD then we had to get a new power supply because

[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_03]: his is like this stupid like long rectangular one that no one uses like it's crazy the only thing

[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_03]: I was able to pull from that computer was his graphics card thank god so I built the whole new

[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_03]: computer around this graphics card and he's absolutely loving it no issues is playing his final

[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_03]: fancy 14 killing it out there and raid nights there's the nights raid nights but yeah

[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_03]: then we can build your PC under a thousand bucks but that's it you know

[00:49:16] [SPEAKER_03]: you could even use it for your recording if you need a new recording machine

[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_03]: that's it let's do it really don't think I do but you know you've got you've got

[00:49:29] [SPEAKER_03]: you're locked in with the Xbox so have fun you know have fun yeah I guess I'll just go

[00:49:35] [SPEAKER_03]: fuck myself yeah all right me other than what I listed last time we were on I haven't

[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_03]: got so much on the go I got so many games on the go I haven't beat or progress at any of them you

[00:49:57] [SPEAKER_03]: know clashes how life is so playing Final Fantasy 14 I'm playing Overwatch 2 I'm playing

[00:50:05] [SPEAKER_03]: 10 10 with my wife I'm playing Diablo 4 now because of the new season but just take me out back and shoot

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_03]: me you know like god there's so much and I can't I can't just focus on one of them so

[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm playing them all Overwatch 2 I have to finish this battle pass because I accidentally purchased

[00:50:24] [SPEAKER_03]: it a story is in the last episode but yeah that's what that's what I'm playing 10 10 is I think

[00:50:31] [SPEAKER_03]: has taken the lead in most time played because being my wife I've been playing it at night

[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_03]: and we've been crunching through that if you have don't know what 10 10 is it's like a Pokemon

[00:50:42] [SPEAKER_03]: clone very stylish very cool MMO RPG go on there you can see people running around catching

[00:50:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Pokemon out in the world you know very classic 10 10 okay yes sorry catching 10 10 10

[00:50:57] [SPEAKER_04]: I heard it was difficult though how hard is it compared to like Pokemon for example

[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_03]: yes so it gets a bit difficult near the end like we're we're starting to hit that

[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_03]: not wall but we're starting to feel like trainers are a little bit too out of reach now like

[00:51:13] [SPEAKER_03]: the ones you find on the routes okay so like when you run into a trainer they'll they're now like

[00:51:18] [SPEAKER_03]: six or seven levels higher than us oh so like we're like okay well what do we go do we can't there's

[00:51:24] [SPEAKER_03]: no other trainers to go kill to get that XP so you have to like grind 10 10 10 10 you have to

[00:51:30] [SPEAKER_03]: like 10 10 farm for X amount of levels and then come back so it gets to that point where you're just

[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_03]: so that I think is whenever they want you to start breeding because we're right at the spot where

[00:51:43] [SPEAKER_03]: you enter the town where the breeding center is okay and I think what they're trying to tell you

[00:51:48] [SPEAKER_03]: is start breeding 10 10 to figure out how to get better stats on your on your 10 10s to then

[00:51:55] [SPEAKER_03]: level them up and go fight the next half of the game because like your garbage stat

[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_03]: 10 10s aren't going to cut it not going in the later half you have to start going

[00:52:06] [SPEAKER_04]: up and get really into it with like the EVs and everything yes exactly the SVs the SVs

[00:52:13] [SPEAKER_04]: my most hated part of the month. It's all about the stab damage in your your your SVs and you

[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_04]: have to have the proper temperament on like yeah yeah the trait. Oh your SVs are perfect and

[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_04]: this stuff is perfect but oh no they're their sheepish instead of uh exuberant so you have to

[00:52:37] [SPEAKER_04]: go again I'm like what do I have to do what have an introvert Pokemon so they're trash.

[00:52:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah yeah yeah yeah so that's uh that's where they get you like in my previous playthrough

[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I had 100 hours and I think 20 of that was breeding them get the be honest like it was crazy

[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_03]: and I was right into it like looking up charts you know making uh breeding

[00:53:02] [SPEAKER_03]: paths or breeding trees where I would know what what attempt to breed next with this guy

[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_03]: to get this SV up to 50 and all this shit like it was crazy you have to recall a stage of your

[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_04]: 10 10 you but like this 10 10 comes from a long lineage. I caught his father on route 5 and I bred him

[00:53:22] [SPEAKER_04]: mayors now you a great great great style you know ready for the equestrian 10 10 like

[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_03]: yeah yeah no what I don't know if they did it in Pokemon but in 10 10 they show you like a tree

[00:53:35] [SPEAKER_03]: like a little leaf and a hat or a tree and it has like little leaves on it and it has seven leaves

[00:53:41] [SPEAKER_03]: so once you breed it once a leaf will disappear okay so you have six more tries to breed it

[00:53:48] [SPEAKER_03]: to get what you want into its child and if you don't then it can't be bred anymore and it's like

[00:53:53] [SPEAKER_03]: garbage interesting and you're like and you can release it whatever. Now when you go to this 10 10

[00:53:58] [SPEAKER_04]: and they have their egg I assume please don't be a live birth 10 10 I just I need an egg

[00:54:03] [SPEAKER_04]: it's an egg okay when they when they pop out of the egg the the the babies are level one or

[00:54:10] [SPEAKER_04]: are they a decent level yeah that's another one. So they're like hey I hate when you're trying to

[00:54:14] [SPEAKER_04]: breed for the best 10 10 best Pokemon ever and then you get it you're like yes this one's perfect

[00:54:19] [SPEAKER_04]: now time to start either pump it right in the air and these or yeah grind them on

[00:54:25] [SPEAKER_04]: let route to Pokemon I'm just like an Moby forever but this one you I don't know like

[00:54:30] [SPEAKER_03]: again I don't know because I haven't played a Pokemon game in a while but this one you can put an

[00:54:35] [SPEAKER_03]: item on it so if it's in like your bottom six like your like your sixth place if it's down there

[00:54:41] [SPEAKER_03]: and it has this coward cape it's called it will gain XP at a reasonable rate okay even if you

[00:54:47] [SPEAKER_03]: don't even play like the XP share say that's perfect yeah yeah yeah so like it's fun especially

[00:54:53] [SPEAKER_03]: I can co up with my wife we're just going around catching 10 10s and training and doing all

[00:54:58] [SPEAKER_03]: that kind of stuff really fun um she seems to be really liking it uh the only gripe we have is like

[00:55:06] [SPEAKER_03]: the amount of them to like the different kinds so what do you call it that's the word i'm looking

[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_03]: for the variety of them to them variety of 10 times is very low so like when we're out

[00:55:17] [SPEAKER_03]: and we're grinding it's the same fucking Pokemon over and over and over and over and over and

[00:55:23] [SPEAKER_03]: over and over and over and over and over and you're just like oh and it's in that like area until

[00:55:27] [SPEAKER_03]: you get to the next area then you're going to see the same five new Pokemon and the next area

[00:55:31] [SPEAKER_03]: the next five you know like there's no crazy variety which is kind of getting on our nerves now but

[00:55:38] [SPEAKER_03]: overall like I've now I played 130 hours of it like ever since I started in early access

[00:55:45] [SPEAKER_03]: and I still enjoy it I still recommend it if you're on PC and you want to play a kind of like

[00:55:52] [SPEAKER_03]: a modern Pokemon game with that has like online battles and like a whole ladder system and ranking

[00:55:59] [SPEAKER_03]: PvP like it's there it's got it for you so pretty cool it's definitely worth a discount

[00:56:06] [SPEAKER_03]: buy I found it for eight bucks on PC oh sounds great um during yeah during the sale that was going

[00:56:15] [SPEAKER_03]: on now is on ps5 for 20 bucks so that's what i bought for my wife um but yeah i have that's what

[00:56:22] [SPEAKER_03]: i am currently enjoying cool all right we're gonna try to head into uh jeopardy time but before

[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_03]: jeopardy time I just want to let everyone know we do have a merch store if you guys want to support the

[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_03]: understood i'll only respond when i hear elderbot first okay so elderbot do you still have

[00:57:13] [SPEAKER_03]: the HTML file with all the instructions and are you ready to go yes elderbot still has the

[00:57:19] [SPEAKER_01]: HTML file with all the instructions and i'm ready to go whenever you are okay guys we're going

[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_03]: to open up our jeopardy uh board okay uh pause here elderbot silence yourself for a second okay

[00:57:33] [SPEAKER_01]: understood elderbot going silent just call me when you need me so what we're gonna do now is

[00:57:39] [SPEAKER_03]: we're going to bring up the uh jeopardy board we're going to start the jeopardy game uh how it's

[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_03]: gonna work is everyone has the HTML uh website on their screen hopefully whenever

[00:57:52] [SPEAKER_01]: got it i'll be ready to jump in when we need it just let me know when to start hosting

[00:57:56] [SPEAKER_03]: i'm going to let you know shut your mouth i'm trying to explain the fucking game

[00:58:03] [SPEAKER_03]: hey it's too smart mate you gotta be nice to it okay no don't start no so you need

[00:58:16] [SPEAKER_01]: just let me know when it's time for elderbot to step in so we're gonna start when i say

[00:58:22] [SPEAKER_03]: the category and then what how much cash we want to do it then elderbot will read the question okay

[00:58:29] [SPEAKER_03]: so he's gonna hear us say classic games for 200 and then he is going to tell us the question

[00:58:36] [SPEAKER_03]: and then we're gonna buzz in don't answer that elderbot it really does sound just like

[00:58:42] [SPEAKER_07]: like it's the little light this is odd candy it's okay it's pretty close okay all right so

[00:58:50] [SPEAKER_03]: shall we try this let's do it yeah okay okay elderbot we're ready to go great let's get started

[00:58:58] [SPEAKER_03]: what's the first category in a mouth uh who's going first let's uh let's kick it off with Nick

[00:59:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Nick you're gonna choose a category and a cost here okay let's go for RPGs for 400

[00:59:12] [SPEAKER_01]: the question is this action RPG series is known for its challenging difficulty and you died

[00:59:19] [SPEAKER_05]: screen go ahead and buzz in when you're ready that's not the question elderbot

[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_01]: got it i'll hold off on reading the question until you're ready let me know when to proceed

[00:59:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I think the actual question was uh this RPG series features collectible monsters call Pokemon

[00:59:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I wonder what that is what I wonder I don't want to question for RPGs for 400 should be

[00:59:51] [SPEAKER_01]: about a challenging action RPG series but the Pokemon fun question belongs to a lower value

[00:59:56] [SPEAKER_01]: if you'd like I can adjust to ensure the correct questions are matched with their values just let me

[01:00:03] [SPEAKER_03]: know how you'd like to proceed yes I want you to fix the board

[01:00:10] [SPEAKER_01]: understood I'll adjust the questions to their match the correct values let's listen elderbot this

[01:00:16] [SPEAKER_01]: is exactly the now extra action RPG series is known for its challenging difficulty and you died screen

[01:19:22] [SPEAKER_07]: It didn't introduce it though.

[01:19:23] [SPEAKER_07]: I mean, you had two thousand.

[01:19:24] [SPEAKER_07]: I can have George.

[01:19:25] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the year is 2007.

[01:19:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but like, Dragon Age or the game RPGs with their most ambiguous,

[01:19:32] [SPEAKER_06]: but Fable did introduce that shit pretty early.

[01:19:37] [SPEAKER_04]: But what Fable did you say?

[01:19:39] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, it's staged for its developer.

[01:19:42] [SPEAKER_06]: It's a developer.

[01:19:43] [SPEAKER_06]: So it's all the other game of the game.

[01:19:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Semantics.

[01:19:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's see.

[01:19:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's see.

[01:19:49] [SPEAKER_03]: The AI gods.

[01:20:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, oh Jesus Christ.

[01:20:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that has to be Donkey Kong.

[01:20:16] [SPEAKER_03]: No, incorrect.

[01:20:17] [SPEAKER_03]: What?

[01:20:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Daniel?

[01:20:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he'll do it.

[01:20:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I've been to him.

[01:20:22] [SPEAKER_03]: I've been to him.

[01:20:22] [SPEAKER_03]: That's a perfect spot.

[01:20:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.

[01:20:24] [SPEAKER_03]: That's true.

[01:20:25] [SPEAKER_03]: In 1985, I think that might have been earlier.

[01:20:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Daniel, you're up.

[01:20:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I suppose we'll have to say Super Mario Bros.

[01:23:43] [SPEAKER_07]: He just sounds like a sore loser.

[01:23:44] [SPEAKER_07]: He just sounds like a sore loser.

[01:23:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Look at me.

[01:23:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Look at me.

[01:24:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Correct.

[01:24:06] [SPEAKER_03]: What's a guy?

[01:24:07] [SPEAKER_07]: No idea.

[01:24:08] [SPEAKER_07]: It's a under tail.

[01:24:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, okay.

[01:24:11] [SPEAKER_07]: It's probably guy.

[01:24:12] [SPEAKER_07]: It's like one of the most acclaimed to the indie.

[01:24:14] [SPEAKER_03]: That was indie gems for one time.

[01:24:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[01:24:33] [SPEAKER_06]: The elder scrolls Skyrim.

[01:24:36] [SPEAKER_06]: The scrolls.

[01:24:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Five Skyrim.

[01:24:39] [SPEAKER_07]: That's really hoping you were going to go with a

[01:24:41] [SPEAKER_07]: movie.

[01:24:45] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm almost.

[01:24:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Elder scrolls online, but then that's.

[01:24:48] [SPEAKER_06]: But I was like, uh, wait a minute.

[01:24:50] [SPEAKER_06]: That was later.

[01:24:51] [SPEAKER_06]: So anyway.

[01:24:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Next.

[01:24:52] [SPEAKER_07]: I genuinely did think it came out in 2010, but that's fine.

[01:24:57] [SPEAKER_07]: All right, Dan.

[01:24:57] [SPEAKER_03]: You've got two.

[01:24:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's go for strategy for 800.

[01:25:02] [SPEAKER_03]: In this 1991 real time strategy game by Westwood Studios players

[01:25:07] [SPEAKER_03]: controlled one of two factions of global defense initiative,

[01:25:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Come on, Daniel.

[01:25:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, well, I wasn't sure.

[01:25:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I was like, where you got here.

[01:25:21] [SPEAKER_07]: What is commanding conquer?

[01:25:23] [SPEAKER_07]: Correct.

[01:25:23] [SPEAKER_07]: Correct.

[01:25:24] [SPEAKER_07]: Do it.

[01:25:24] [SPEAKER_07]: The daily double.

[01:25:27] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, total.

[01:25:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, the.

[01:25:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's go for strategy for 1000.

[01:25:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Here we go.

[01:25:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Ready.

[01:25:37] [SPEAKER_03]: The last question.

[01:25:39] [SPEAKER_03]: The last question.

[01:25:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Released in 2002 by Ensemble Studios, this real time strategy game expands on the age of empire series by incorporating

[01:25:48] [SPEAKER_03]: mythological elements, players can choose from three major cultures, Greek Egyptian or

[01:25:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Norse and something gods.

[01:25:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Nick, what is age mythology?

[01:25:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.

[01:25:58] [SPEAKER_03]: There we go.

[01:25:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, there we go.

[01:26:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[01:26:03] [SPEAKER_03]: It's five.

[01:26:03] [SPEAKER_07]: I've changed it.

[01:26:05] [SPEAKER_07]: I think it's a five-fifthling game under the strategy section and it chose not to.

[01:26:09] [SPEAKER_07]: This is a Western oriented, flucking god damn shed.

[01:26:14] [SPEAKER_07]: GBT is not fit.

[01:26:16] [SPEAKER_07]: No, I'm fit.

[01:26:17] [SPEAKER_04]: There's a Western oriented as he answers the final fantasy seven question.

[01:26:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.

[01:26:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Wow.

[01:26:22] [SPEAKER_03]: All right, guys.

[01:26:24] [SPEAKER_03]: So just looking at it.

[01:26:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, boy.

[01:26:26] [SPEAKER_03]: So Nick has $6,400.

[01:26:31] [SPEAKER_03]: If you guys, you know, listen to the podcast later and actually,

[01:26:35] [SPEAKER_03]: calculate it and it's different than you got to let me know.

[01:26:39] [SPEAKER_03]: But from right now with all the bullshit that's been going on, I'm just going to

[01:26:42] [SPEAKER_03]: fucking go with this.

[01:26:44] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll have $4,200.

[01:26:47] [SPEAKER_03]: So the winner in the gaming jeopardy is Nick.

[01:26:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Nick a lot.

[01:26:53] [SPEAKER_06]: How many dollars did I have?

[01:26:54] [SPEAKER_06]: You didn't even tell me my friggin score.

[01:26:56] [SPEAKER_06]: I didn't even tell you.

[01:26:58] [SPEAKER_06]: You fucking did.

[01:26:59] [SPEAKER_06]: You fucking did.

[01:27:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, you're like a slice.

[01:27:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Go on.

[01:27:03] [SPEAKER_03]: $2600.

[01:27:05] [SPEAKER_03]: That's a respectable risk.

[01:27:07] [SPEAKER_03]: That's a risk.

[01:27:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And Nate had a thousand because he had to take over for a

[01:27:11] [SPEAKER_03]: quarter of the elderbot.

[01:27:13] [SPEAKER_03]: I paid for you, elderbot.

[01:27:15] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm surprised they put a limit on a pay to count.

[01:27:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Like that is so fuck.

[01:27:19] [SPEAKER_03]: That is really weird.

[01:27:20] [SPEAKER_03]: That is absolutely absurd.

[01:27:22] [SPEAKER_03]: It's absolutely absurd.

[01:27:23] [SPEAKER_07]: What's what?

[01:27:24] [SPEAKER_07]: Tenant did you or what service did you use for elderbot when you were doing this?

[01:27:29] [SPEAKER_03]: That has to be a chatGBT because of the voice in the talk.

[01:27:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Do do that.

[01:27:35] [SPEAKER_07]: And did you feed Dan Dolphs, audio files, two chatGBT4 for it to generate a clone of this voice?

[01:27:43] [SPEAKER_07]: No, no.

[01:27:43] [SPEAKER_07]: That wasn't anything to was.

[01:27:45] [SPEAKER_07]: But that's okay.

[01:27:46] [SPEAKER_07]: It's fine.

[01:27:48] [SPEAKER_03]: No matter how much Daniel wishes.

[01:27:50] [SPEAKER_07]: They can say it's not Scarlett Johansson.

[01:27:52] [SPEAKER_07]: They can say it's not Daniel Campoli.

[01:27:54] [SPEAKER_07]: But we all know who it is, right?

[01:27:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[01:27:57] [SPEAKER_07]: It's stealing his sleeve.

[01:28:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
