[00:00:28] Hello everybody and welcome to season 2 episode 27 of The Elder Trolls Gaming Podcast Season 2! If you are new in joining us, we are three brothers who get together and laugh and have fun and make jokes and stuff.
[00:00:48] And talk about gaming. We also may talk tech TV movies, other nerdy geeky things too and I am your host. Take it easy, John O and I am joined by this leasiest scummy booty catcher of the seven seas. And then also join by my other brother, Nasty Nate.
[00:01:14] And today we will be discussing. We will be discussing. We will be discussing the upcoming year. Twenty twenty three in gaming. We will talk about the upcoming year what we are going to have going on.
[00:01:30] If we have any resolutions, whether it be gaming or non-gaming, gaming predictions, generally things that we are looking forward to in 2023. But first, what is happening? Guys, how about that new intro? How about the new intro? It's a fun one. I love it.
[00:01:50] I think it was like my favorite thing that the fanel has created for this show yet because he is always sending a shitload of. He is always sending ideas and pictures and things like that in the chat and it was sweet. I loved it.
[00:02:06] As I am sure you guys have heard and or if you are watching on YouTube you have seen we have a new intro and a theme tune that Daniel wrote. Dan Dolph wrote it. We are really excited about that. We had fun making it.
[00:02:18] And we are excited to hear what everybody thinks. So please go to our Twitter and check it out if you are just listening. We have a pinned tweet with the intro video on there. I will give a comment on the YouTube video of this episode.
[00:02:36] If that is where you are, we want to hear what you think. I think it was received pretty well on Twitter. I think it's fucking great. I mean, ultimately I just want to know if you guys think it is better than on a monoguchi. I need validation.
[00:02:54] I don't think so. I don't think it is shit. So let's all talk about how we went about creating it. Just a bit here. So the original idea was to bring it back to how we remember gaming and a lot of our gaming memories
[00:03:18] that I really clear my brain was at the old ass PC that we had, the 386 Dad's dad's auto shop and the 46th we had at home and then the shitty panium that we bought. And all that kind of stuff. What do you mean shitty panium?
[00:03:36] Sorry. Yeah, because we had one before. Remember when he, the friend of the family I can't remember his name, Toni. He had made us a shitty computer. We played like road rash on it. That was not a panium. That was a 406.
[00:03:50] So I wanted to bring it back to that kind of thing. And we watched a lot of BBC butt head growing up. We listened to a lot of thrice, co-heat and cambria. Watched a lot of Terminator, Terminator 2. Yeah. Like at that point in our childhood there,
[00:04:08] that's with some of our favorite things. So I made like that background like that environment showing that. And when I put all that together, I was like, this feels like my room. Like what my room was like, or what the computer room was like.
[00:04:22] We didn't have those posters hanging on the wall or anything like that. But like, we should. It encapsulated some dragon ball, DT posters and dragon ball shit. That shit too. Yeah. And then that it looks like a 90s collage.
[00:04:38] Yeah. Looks like something, like I said, I had an appalling dynamite. Like I could picture like Jack Whites. I can tell that we are going to be friends. Like handing around it? I don't know, I love it. Yeah. I did notice something in there.
[00:04:54] There was like a little figurine on the left side. And I remember what it was. Maybe you could tell the story about that. So that's VP the Wii Wii. Okay. That's VP. We laid this in gentlemen. VP the Wii Wii.
[00:05:09] Which I believe we bought at a flea market and you fill them with water in his head. And you pull down his shorts and he takes a piss out of his little wiener. Pull that out. But there's shorts and tucks piss. But I don't, what was that?
[00:05:24] It was just like a gag. Yeah. And assuming it was a gag, don't tell me. I thought it was a hilarious. I was like, oh my god, I want this as hilarious. And she's like, okay. It was probably like a dollar. Yeah. If that.
[00:05:36] I remember that being on, I think it was Daniel's dresser. We put it on the other side. Yeah. I remember that. But what's funny for me is my experiences that I had totally forgot about the Wii Wii. And tirely, like completely blocked out of my brain.
[00:05:52] It's just not one of those details I would have remembered in our room like of all the Nicky. Yeah. So if we did like a virtual tour of my memory and I went in there obviously I'd see it. Oh shit.
[00:06:01] But that's what that was because I was like, why does that look so familiar? And it's because we had it somewhere in the room. And I used to just like play with it because I think if he tapped his head as shorts would go like
[00:06:12] down or some shit. Yeah, I think you pushed it. Was it you pull this pants down or you pushed this pants down? Yeah. You pull this pants down and it would just skirt water out. I thought it was a great name for a band.
[00:06:25] We did the Wii Wii. That's retired. So that covers like the environment of the intro. And then we were shooting ideas back and forth. And we wanted it to kind of resemble an old classic game that we would like play on the PC. So like road rash.
[00:06:42] I remember road rash very pixelated. Scunny cart was like an old Mario cart rip off game. Oh yeah. And doom, which remember how it used to come on like multiple floppy disks do you remember that? Oh yeah. There's like multiple Windows Windows 3.5. It was like 35 floppy disks.
[00:07:04] It's really great. Yeah. We had a whole box of floppy disks. Yeah. A huge box full of floppy disks. I got a re-install Windows 3. And check. Yeah. The screen is all. Windows 3.1 may have been like 30 megabytes. Yeah. There's only a mega mega half. Oh.
[00:07:19] I can't have a like a 5. I just remember the quality of the video. I want the cringe video. I know there's only a mega half. I'm making a half of the thing. I can have a half of the thing. I got a 5.
[00:07:29] I just remember the quality of one YouTube. I want the cringe video. I think that's what they were celebrating. Yeah. They're like, oh, all these nerds on stage. It's just like, it's so bad. So bad. Alright. How about we move it on over to game time?
[00:07:51] Let's get this show started. Welcome to game time. Guys, it has been over a month since we last recorded. I think a month? Yep. What have you been playing? Nasty Nate. I assume you have a list of 35 games that you can play over the holiday season.
[00:08:20] Actually, it's only like 20 games. It's actually not as much. I'm still playing a lot of Overwatch 2 because I bought the second season battle pass. I think it's going to be my last battle pass though. I'm starting to feel it like cool down, but I'm blasting through that.
[00:08:45] I picked up Witcher 3. Why didn't I pick up Witcher 3? Oh, yeah. Because the new next gen update. And I wanted to check it out on the series S. And I am very impressed. I can't believe this game out. This game came out almost 10 years ago. I think.
[00:09:06] And it still rivals anything that came out last year. Like, it's insane. I think the question is why wouldn't you get Witcher 3? Did you not beat it before? This is your first time playing through the whole thing.
[00:09:21] Yeah, you always used to get to like 20 hours and then stop. 20 hours. And it was always at the same quest too. And I was like, yeah, I put it down. But now I'm at like 40, 50 hours, I think. Now.
[00:09:33] And some of the quest I did were so fucking good. They're so good. So I just running side quests are really cool. Yeah, and you just get lost. Like I lost four hours the other night.
[00:09:45] I was like doing that dandy lion quest where you're looking for your barbed. Yeah, yeah. Oh my god. Yeah, you're looking for his girlfriend's or whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then you end up at the end of the, I think one of the end of the quest lines.
[00:10:00] You end up at a tavern and you're listening to one of his like barbed girlfriends. And the song she plays, oh man, it was so fucking good. It was so good. That was really good.
[00:10:13] And then on switch, I put a little Twitter post up because I was always hovering around this game called Monster Hunter Stories 2. Oh yeah, you sent screenshots of that in the chat and I actually looked really cool. I didn't know it existed. Yeah, I think.
[00:10:30] And it was like, ah, 80 dollars for this or whatever back then. I was like, now I'll wait for it on sale and it came down to like 20 25 bucks Canadian. And I posted on Twitter was like, should I pick this thing up? I've been interested yet.
[00:10:43] And we got a few gamer podcasters like our buddies over at random gamer corner and And super podsega. They're like, yes, definitely worth 25 bucks for sure. So I picked it up and I'm about like 10 hours in which is pretty crazy for me to be playing a game.
[00:11:05] That actually. And it's really cool. It's fun. It's like, it's kind of got like a Pokemon ask. You don't catch the monsters. Like you fight them. And then you like follow them into their cave and you got to do a little kind of dungeon
[00:11:25] to get to them at the end of the cave. And you either fight fight for an egg or they're sleeping and you have to like sneak to their nest and grab the egg and choose an egg you want to bring back to base to hatch it
[00:11:38] into like a monster. And you know where the environments like how are the graphics are fantastic. They're like just as good as they look just as nice as the Zelda Breath of the Wild. I don't know because I was going to say, which one came up.
[00:11:56] I think Breath of Wild came out first. Oh, but oh yeah, it's an old piece. The older game. This one. I don't think so. Monster Hunter. It's that old. But all I know is that I feel like I'd be more inclined to play it.
[00:12:11] Well you said you think the Breath of the Wild came out first. Like that came in like 2017. Okay. So this is 2021. Oh wow. It's pretty new. Yeah. And we're inclined to play it that style then as opposed to like the more Capcom realistic type.
[00:12:26] Yeah, they were going for like those I don't like those. This one is great. This one's great. And it's a it's turn-based RPG. So there's a story. So far, I'm liking the story. It's about these hunters that are on this island filled with dinosaurs. They call monsters.
[00:12:42] They're dinosaurs or like weird looking dinosaurs. And this one dinosaur happens to go crazy and fly off with all these other dinosaurs. And that head dinosaur dragon is like the protector of this island.
[00:12:59] So now that he's gone, all the monsters are going crazy and we have to find out why. And then cool. During that little story adventure you collect monsters hatch them craft weapons, armor or something and the customizations really cool. Then I'm liking a lot.
[00:13:15] I'm liking it a lot. Actually, I should add that to my list. My effort expanding. Back to the sheep. Cheap. Cheap. That's pretty much it. Cyberpunk, Phonomode, Witcher 3, Phonomode. What's that? Kenna, Kenna, Bridg of Spirits. Yeah. I picked that one up. I've been doing the Phonomode in there.
[00:13:38] It's pretty fun. Shwing. Cool. And what about you? What about you? It's definitely mostly just been the Witcher 3 because of the new gen update. I had been playing it back in the day on my 1x and it was sweet.
[00:13:52] It was at 30 FPS and it looked great on 1x. It looked great. But I was like, okay, I'll try to get him up and I'll get him to play it as well. Yeah. And with the new gen update though, I haven't had no bugs or glitches.
[00:14:06] I've heard a lot about people having bugs and glitches. Again, that's not my experience so far. So I'm playing on performance 60 FPS. I tried the ray tracing at 30 and it's very difficult 30 FPS to grasp, but there was just a real chopiness to it.
[00:14:24] It doesn't feel like cyberpunk's 30 which is kind of my benchmark because I've never had a problem with cyberpunk's 30 FPS. So the shadows and lighting are severely beautiful though. At night in the cabins when you've got candle lights or like the hearth is on or something in the Witcher 3.
[00:14:39] Yeah. So I'm going to miss that dearly because it's just beautiful ambience, but the game is just... It's still fantastic on performance looks great. But I'm enjoying the mechanics of it more at the 60 FPS.
[00:14:54] As always, I find it hard to level, but I'm getting there because I feel like you just got to keep doing stuff like side stuff. You've got to keep finding quests that are around your level and do every opportunity you can at fighting monsters
[00:15:08] because then you just get like experience boosts when you beat them. So you have to do like everything you possibly can to get as much experiences you can to just keep leveling up. It's hard to get coin for like new equipment for a hookman.
[00:15:22] I've always found that difficult about this game, it's nothing new because I'll often have to like scrounge and use scrap crap thrown around the continent like people's shitty clubs or their armor stuff. And your backpack is like so small and it can't hurt like any...
[00:15:38] And you can't hurt like any... Or 60 weight? What is that? Was it like Skyrim when you have like... I don't think anything happened though. No, I don't think anything happens because I was at 60 last night. Although maybe it's when you get to like 61 and it does something.
[00:15:53] I don't know but I was at 60 and it was 60 and it was fine. So I don't know. But the equipment durability is kind of a constant nag on my brain because I hate that kind of crap.
[00:16:02] But I did notice that it doesn't really have much of an effect. It'll show you how much damage you're losing or how much armor you're losing in red on the items. But it doesn't seem to have that much of a negative effect on gameplay.
[00:16:14] Like I'm still doing damage even if my weapons are at 50% or higher. It gives you warning though. It's like you need to repair it otherwise it won't do as well. But like I finally arrived at this place.
[00:16:27] I was thinking of just finally arrived at like a perceptible turning point. In the gameplay where my perks and weapons like are allowing me to do a lot more damage. And I'm doing a lot better on normal too. I don't want to switch it to easy.
[00:16:41] And so I'm on normal and I'm actually doing damage and killing things. So I'm having a blast playing it. I don't, in fact I may. I may binge the shit out of it when we're done here. Nice. That's about it. I've got Pokemon 2. I've got 480 Jim badges.
[00:16:56] I've now got 115 Pokemon caught. Ish. But I still man, I still feel like I've only scratched the surface of the game in terms of specifics. Because like for the things that really count like super training and effort values. I just, I have no idea what those are yet.
[00:17:11] All I've been doing is just poke it up and badges. Bring it back to this. The performance of Witcher 3. Like even the 30 FPS on the Series X. I'm surprised they couldn't even do that because I'm maxed out on my PC and I only get 40.
[00:17:28] Like maxed out everything, no DLSS, maxed out, ray tracing, maxed out everything. And I'm like 40 FPS. Like I said. But I do that for not a great. It's not a great 30 FPS. And I'm at 2K resolution. Not even 4K resolution. It's quite hard.
[00:17:46] Probably not pushing like 4K though. It's probably like dynamic. Yeah, maybe up to 4K. Well that's cool. I have been playing. I played a couple of games. I played, I played through metal Helsinger which was really cool.
[00:18:03] I was always kind of a game that I wanted to play. I never ended up getting around to it but I did in mid-Decemberish. Started playing very cool. Just slaying demons to the beat of some sweet, intense, sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet. It was super fun.
[00:18:22] I played it on hard mode at first. I was like, I got playing this on hard mode. Hands down hard mode. No problem. And it was fine. Like I don't. Like the only piss off was like every time I would get...
[00:18:37] Like every time I would die it would be later on in the level right? Yeah. So it's like you have to start the whole thing over. Just like come on. Like that was a piss off sometimes but like I was getting top...
[00:18:49] Like top, I don't know how hard it is. How hard it is when you're 100? When the leaderboard? Like every level, get around top 300 on the leaderboard and like am I good at this game? I don't know. I don't know if that's good. But it was fun.
[00:19:01] Like I was flicking to the beat and everything like that. My fucking shoulder was hurting after I played. Because like God damn. Like I was fucking going wild. It was crazy but it was sweet. I played, started playing League of Legends. Right. Yes. Oh. Yes.
[00:19:21] I've got a League of Legends. Because of the Battle Pass we got all of our characters unlocked or whatever. I started the arcade game. Yeah. I'm game pass. You want to talk about it learning curve? You think apex legends is hard to start playing. You think so.
[00:19:37] You have a played League of Legends. It's not the hard legends game. It's not apex legends. It's League of Legends. Anyway, I played with Rob from Game Dooh and some of his buddies and it was very fun actually but they were definitely carrying me.
[00:19:52] Because they knew what they were doing. They just told me what to do. But that's how you learn. Like if you're playing by yourself, like good fun. Yeah. Good luck. Um, I played high on life for a few hours. Pretty funny.
[00:20:04] I mean, I don't think if you're not a fan. Yeah. If you're not a huge fan of like Rick and Morty, I would you're probably going to find it annoying. I would imagine.
[00:20:15] But if you are, you probably love it because they have this like interdimensional the cable and remember that show. I was like, interdimensional cable where they just randomly watched the stupid shit on TV. It's like they have that like playing in the game. Like all the time.
[00:20:30] That is so funny. Oh man. Anyway, I beat the first like few bounties in the game. So the first thing for bosses is funny. I'll probably go back and try to finish it. Just the most unimaginable shit on cable television. It's so funny. It's so funny.
[00:20:45] I'm just sitting there like in the game watching the TV. And I guess they have some movies that are playing in your house in the game. Yeah. You can just sit there and watch this old like Paul Walker movie and Denise Richard. Some type of dinosaurs.
[00:20:59] You could put them real. The hell is this? Oh man. Anyway, here I got a story about this next one. But anyway, I started playing a Pokemon trading card game online again as I do every once in a while. Yeah.
[00:21:13] But there is a game breaking bug on my account. A game breaking bug on the beta version. This is the beta, not the Pokemon trading card game online. This is trading card game live beta. Where either I am unable to do anything at all on my turn.
[00:21:32] And it instantly ends my turn. Or I have a eight second countdown to complete my turn. So it's absolutely unplayable. Like, so if anyone was looking to play the new beta version of TCG online, which is called TCG Live,
[00:21:48] do not migrate your account over because you cannot get it back. You cannot go back. If you want to play, you would have to create a new account and play the online, which is what I did. So I started a new account and I got a theme deck.
[00:22:02] And I just started playing some. My charts are like theme deck, which is super fun. Because it's easy to come back and just play some theme deck. But with this new account, you created and your new theme deck, you're getting these bugs?
[00:22:14] No, this is on the old version. Okay. Okay. On my main account with all of my cards and all of my decks, I have this bug so I can't play it. Did you ever, did you ever find out if they're going to allow you to move that over?
[00:22:25] Or are you, you're just new, new account or deck moving forward? That's it. Oh, no, it'll fill fix it eventually. I mean, I'll just go back to the other account. Yeah. Okay. I'm just playing on a secondary account with like bare bones,
[00:22:40] just a theme deck and I just play. I remember liking it. Maybe I'll do it. Can I get it for my phone now or is it still for just for tablets? I don't know. I don't know. Can you remember that? You played on your phone.
[00:22:52] It's very small though. But you'll do it. You would be super small. I'll have the fuck money going to play it then. PC, I don't know. Oh, they have like a web browser one or something? No, it's a PC game. What? Talk to them about it.
[00:23:07] It's a PC game. It's literally everything. I brought up a list for tablets. Huh? No. It's on PC tablet. Hmm. Well, I guess it's not on console obviously. Anyway, you have a story. A game, nasty night hasn't played.
[00:23:23] I haven't played a lot of story about the trading card game. Okay, funny story. This morning or year last night actually I saw a post on Reddit. Someone posted this thing. They have these boxes at Costco.
[00:23:36] These elite trainer boxes and of evolving skies and chilling rain and they're 50 bucks. And it comes with the elite trainer box and a tin together like wrap together. What do you mean by a tin? Is that a certain card or is it an actual box? Like a tin.
[00:23:53] It's like a tin. It's a tin with packs in it. Look a tin with a pungle card and like packs in it comes with maybe five packs. So it's probably worth 25 bucks, 30 bucks. And the elite trainer box of evolving skies alone is worth like $85.
[00:24:08] That's the exact box that's real house told me to get. For the moon, Brianna. Because that's what everybody wants is evolving skies. They want the alternate art of that. I'm Brianna. That he's like howling at the moon or whatever.
[00:24:24] But they are charging $54 for this evolving sky's box and the tin. Okay. So that's like a hundred and twenty dollars. Okay. So this is 50% off. 50% off. So I'm like, nah, that's pretty good deal. And especially because like you can't really have a lot of money.
[00:24:43] Like they're going to start cutting print of yeah of this stuff soon. And I'm like shit. Anyway, I sent the link to Pam is like because Pam started kind of collecting Little Pokemon cards. She's got a little binder here. Mm-hm. The unicorn binder.
[00:25:01] And I sent this to her and I'm like, I wonder if Costco has them. And she had to go out this morning. Anyways, she's like, well, I'll go out and I'll check. So she goes to Costco. This is like 930 in the morning.
[00:25:15] Like it must have just opened yet. She calls me and she's like, she's like, it's crazy here. There's a guy who came in and he came in with a big palette thing And he just started loading all the boxes they have them here. They have them.
[00:25:29] I was like, holy shit. They have them. And he's like, yes, she's like, yeah, they have all evolving sky's trainer boxes of like holy shit. This guy loading like a fucking palette Pokemon. She's like, this crazy neck beard guy is just rolling this fucking.
[00:25:42] She's like, I grabbed a bunch of boxes and put in my cards so she couldn't take them. Oh, I can't. So he couldn't take them. I was like, wow. And I guess other people around were like, what does this guy doing? Like, what's going on here?
[00:25:55] Like they should have like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I grabbed some and then they were like kind of grabbing a box. It's like, look there. Like, yeah, I'm fucking like 80 year old. It's like, oh, it was just, it was be good. No, but I don't know.
[00:26:08] Anyway, Pam, I guess, filled her cart with these boxes. So he couldn't get them. She's like, what do I do? I was like, I don't know. It's a good fucking deal. You could literally sell them for twice what you paid.
[00:26:21] So she didn't want to let the guy take literally all of the guys. He made it maybe he owned, he said he drove four hours. Four hours. So he was probably to get brod trip to all the Costco's. All the way down. Isn't that insane?
[00:26:35] I told Thrill has maybe he owned a shop or something. Like a workshop? Yeah, Matt was like, I got to get Tammy on the phone. Well, I bought 16 boxes. So how? All right, I'll let you off. If you want to. Yeah. Uncle Phil, what is it?
[00:26:53] Uncle Phil, not Uncle Phil. Dr. Phil, yeah. Well, I was like, I don't know. Just buy the, I don't care. Like, I'll, the little investment. When they're stopped, bring me a video. I'll sell those for 200 bucks each. Make some videos.
[00:27:07] Get binge worthy gaming on and open the binge worthy gaming. I'm not going to open those. I'll be insane opening 16 of those. Yeah. Oh, my not. There's so much crap in there. Like extra shit that I know. This is what you do. You sell half of them.
[00:27:22] I can make your money back and then open the ones that are free. That end up being free. You know what I mean? True. I could do that. It was wild. Pam was just like, that was just crazy. She got home.
[00:27:33] She's got her arms full of these boxes. Like I wanted to put them in the background. Like stack them all. But I, I couldn't do it in time because I'd walk to the Oxford. But yeah. That would be awesome. It was crazy. It was insane. She's. But yeah.
[00:27:48] That was my morning actually. That was this morning. Wow. Anything else you guys got? I do have something. But I want to introduce this as my bone to pick. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. The new segment. How about that? The trolls bones. We got to, I got a bone to pick.
[00:28:21] Now. I recently tried playing hearthstone. hearthstone is a world of warcraft card game. Okay. For anyone who doesn't know this. It's a strategy card game. Played online. Based on the heroes of warcraft. That's I think that's what it's called. Right? Harestone heroes of warcraft.
[00:28:42] It's a deck building game. You know, much like Pokemon, whatever magic gathering. And I tried to play some standard and structured. I got some bunch of packs for logging back in. Like a, I don't even know. Oh, when you pack for some. It was like, well, crazy.
[00:28:59] So I'm like looking through the decks, looking through what I have. Um, um, um, um, um, like, okay. I'll try it out, you know. The state of this game is an absolute joke right now. There is way too much crap.
[00:29:13] Yeah. Like all of the new cards are so powerful. It's ridiculous. The first five games I played. I was like, huh? I'm like clicking on each card and read what that happened. What is this? How? What? There's so much different abilities and things happening.
[00:29:31] Like, these crazy death rattles, which is something that happens when one of the minions dies. It does something. And I'm like, what? And all these combos going off. I had no idea what was happening.
[00:29:41] I got one shot, one shot comboed three different times from three different classes in different games. I was like, what is going on with this game? Like the power creep man, the power creep weird. Well, I think they're no power creep.
[00:29:57] I think they're due for rolling a few out in the next the next expansion. I think this is what does that matter? They'll just print some more fucking stupid ridiculous cards. That's true. Every game I was saying to myself, there was a card.
[00:30:10] I'm like, how do they let this card go to print? Like who's in this meeting saying this would be a good idea. Man, that's cool. That's why I have to team left. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe. Yeah. The problem is like every class has decks like that.
[00:30:28] Like it's just a circus. It's an absolute circus. It just makes it so random. I feel like the skill ceiling has just gone way down. Like you do not need to be skilled or good to play these ridiculous decks.
[00:30:43] And you can't even if you are skilled, you can't really play around that shit. Like how you supposed to play around it because it's just so powerful. I think it can happen. Like one kill combos, like one shot combos and all this crap.
[00:30:55] I just feel like the skill has almost been removed. Not all, like removed but lowered. And it makes me feel like you may as well just play wild. Yeah. And wild is the game mode where literally every card ever printed can be played. So it's just a nightmare.
[00:31:14] Like anything goes. Anything goes. Any card can be played. But that's how I feel it is in standard right now just because of the amount of different crazy things you can do. And over there trying to do like level the playing field or something.
[00:31:29] Well they introduced a new class. A Death Knight class. Yes, the new class. The death knight. He's ridiculous. It's ridiculously powerful. And I'm just like I am not playing this. So what I did is I played. Heartstone classics.
[00:31:46] Yeah, heartstone classic is a mode in the game where only the classic cards are available for play, which is like the old original cards the OG when we started playing the OG cards. So I'm familiar with it. I'm like, oh, I love these. Deaths.
[00:31:59] This is back when it was you know, you needed to outplay your opponent and it was back whenever you could actually hold in your brain. The cards in the few expansions that were out. So you kind of know what they're going to play.
[00:32:14] Yeah, you know what they're going to play. Like I have no idea now what they're going to play. But but the thing is back in classic, you could actually play cards that have no text on it. You know, just like give me an empty body that has stats.
[00:32:27] Yeah, there's not a chance you could play an empty body with no ability on it right now. And it would just not people would laugh at you from your card in your deck.
[00:32:37] Well, at least not classic, although at least they're savoring or they're preserving that I should say. Yeah, I make sure you just kind of makes me wonder where the future of the game is. Oh, that's so fucked. Where's this going? How long can you go around?
[00:32:52] Oh, and years. 11 years, 2012. Hmm. Okay, but get this. So I started playing classic ranked mode and I'm tearing through the ranked ladder with my miracle rogue. Okay. And then I realized, I'm facing, I think I'm playing against Chinese bots. Why Chinese bots? Because their names are all Chinese.
[00:33:17] I don't know, like what is going on, but some of the names are just gibberish and they would be like playing the most horrible opening plays. I guess just the way they're programmed.
[00:33:27] And I'm like these, I'm like these guys are really bad at the game and I'm like going through levels. Like I've won like 35 games in a row. I was like, okay, these guys are bots and then I looked it up.
[00:33:37] And I guess it's a big problem in our store right now. Why farming farming classic mode? Now I'm like, I don't see the benefit of that. Why would they do that? Fake accounts.
[00:33:50] Like you've created an account just a farm classic mode to farm like the rewards on the battle pass. But why? Hmm. Like if it's just a throwaway account.
[00:33:59] But I think maybe what they want to do is they just farm for wins to get their portrait like golden portrait. You know what I mean? Yeah.
[00:34:08] And then maybe they get high up in the ranks and then they take over the account and they try to get to legend. Oh, just by playing the last few levels. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So they'll get to like. Now let's have a look at the rewards.
[00:34:19] Let's have to plant diamond diamond diamond diamond. It was diamond legend. So anyway, I played maybe one or two real people. Throughout the whole thing up to about diamond for well, what? And I absolutely stopped diamond for. I got to diamond for before I started playing actual people.
[00:34:39] But and then I realized yeah, that's when I realized like some of the bought the people were they were actually playing but they still those weird bought names. So it's like what do they bought all the way here and then just take over start playing?
[00:34:48] So that must be what they're doing. Everyone was playing Zulok. Then everybody it's every single and I was playing Zulok. I was like after I started playing Miracle World, but Rogue I kept losing Zulok and like well I got to play Zulok.
[00:35:00] But then I was getting sick of just mirror matching Zulok. So I'm like what kind of Zulok? Free space freeze. Freeze, Mage, baby. Oh, I thought they had nice control priest though with like no. So I started playing freeze Mage every game against Warlock freeze Mage.
[00:35:20] Dead, dead, dead, win. Boys you're looking at the number 754 Legend Classic Heart Stone player right here. So 154 in the world. I reached Legend Rank among all the balls. It took you a week. No, it took me a day. That's the state of this game.
[00:35:46] Oh, I was able to reach the rank of Legend which I have never done in my Heart Stone career. Reast from Legend. In one day because of the amount of just bots. That is disgusting. Do you know how hard it is to hit Legend in like standard play?
[00:36:04] The closest I got was Diamond 1 and I could not win my five games to get the Legend. I could not fucking do it. Wow, that was long ago. And that took me a while. I have me played since they changed to the Diamond. I got like rank 3 before.
[00:36:20] Remember it was just like you rank from 20 down to 1. Yeah, and then Legend. I got to like 3. So I got to almost legend in the new in the new ranking system where you don't get any. Like once you hit Diamond 1, you don't get any like boosts or double.
[00:36:40] I didn't know something. I got a hard time. So it was like win one lose one win one lose one and you don't move. And I was doing that for like two weeks and I could not get the fucking Legend. Man, it's so hard.
[00:36:50] Yeah, I was that's what I was doing. I had some tilting games. Oh my god, I was tilted a couple of them. Every time they would have doom guard on turn five. Doomguard turn five. Oh, I'm just like are you kidding me?
[00:37:04] And then top deck, top deck soul fire, which is a zero man. Yep, four damage to my face to kill me. Top deck it. Otherwise I would have killed them next turn. It happened three or four times.
[00:37:15] I was so mad, but I finally played a couple of guys who were not very good and I pounded them and I'm like, I am a legend. Oh my anyway, that was my juicy bond to pick. This game, well, state of the game is sad.
[00:37:29] Now you can say your legend, her so clear. I can't say that. Yeah, legend classic play classic. I will. I will know against bots. You'll get it. It's funny that the bot decks are so dumb. It's so bad.
[00:37:43] It's just like they try to hit you in the face for whatever damage they can. Like with just basic shitty cards and they don't really think about anything else. They just try to burn your hero down. And I guess that wins them the game, like 30% of the time.
[00:37:58] So they just do that and they just get wins. And they're just fighting against other bots. Anyway, that was my bone to pick boys. I like the name of that. Should we name that segment? Trolls bones? The trolls bones. I think it's just called bone to pick.
[00:38:17] Bones to pick? Bone to pick? The trolls bones. Alright, what that being said, it's time to move over to today's topic. Alright, for today's episode we wanted to focus on the upcoming year and tell people what we're going to have going on, whether it be gaming.
[00:38:45] Like I said, gaming resolutions, gaming predictions and ideas that we're going to have for the show. And generally some things we're looking forward to. For 2023, let's start it off with goals for the podcast. We're talking about a little bit of goals for the podcast.
[00:39:03] I'm going to say for this, I want to do more video content on YouTube. That isn't maybe just episodes yet. More streaming session clips, compilations, videos, different types. Should we create a new channel for that? I was also thinking that, but I don't know.
[00:39:20] Like elder trolls gaming or something. But that's a lot more than we think about that. But we will do the Halo stream. We swear to God, we'll do it. We'll do it guys. Maybe this weekend. We can do it. Yeah? Yeah. What did you have?
[00:39:38] Did you have anything written down for this, Ernie? Me, I wanted, it's around the same lines as you. We put the stuff on YouTube as like episodes and stuff like that. But maybe more of a creative side on YouTube.
[00:39:52] More streams or I read on my other side community that I do with the photo mode stuff, the virtual photographers that a lot of people actually want to see virtual photographers do their thing while on streams.
[00:40:09] So like setting up their shots in photo modes, talk about the lighting, how to get the lighting in photo modes that you can't get because they don't give you lights. So you have to use the environment in certain ways to get the lights and all that kind
[00:40:24] of stuff. So I was kind of thinking, I might do a few photo mode, not tutorials. But like just fucking around in photo mode and do some videos of that. That'd be cool.
[00:40:38] Another thing I wanted to do is start a merch store for the show, for the Elder Tools. I've been working on that. It's almost done. So it's going to be a paid-a-print order.
[00:40:52] So you'll just go to a website, select the merch you want, your press order, and that gets sent to the manufacturer, they print it, fucking do it and then they send it. I'll be making it with bleeding fingers in my little room here and then I'll be, yeah.
[00:41:11] And then it sends out. But with that being said, it'll be a little bit more expensive than like bulk ordering shit and then having a supply of merchandise or an inventory, right? And I don't want to deal with that.
[00:41:25] I don't want to deal with inventory and soaking up really that expensive. You said, yeah. So it's like a t-shirt. I think my estimate cost was like 30 bucks Canadian for like a t-shirt. You paid that for a ban shirt though. But I think that's pretty standard. Yeah.
[00:41:43] Yeah. Like if you go to a show, we're not making any money off of it. Yeah, we're not making people will have. So that might be a way to kind of offset the cost of the podcast, like hosting and domain hosting and stuff like that.
[00:41:57] That's pretty much, especially down the line. Yes. Yeah. Because we only make like a dollar on a t-shirt, but whatever. Yeah. Like a dollar, $2 US. It's like a dollar hour.
[00:42:07] And then I was going to say, I'm not going to try not to swear so much and be a little bit more positive towards the gaming in general. But I already thought that. That's a gaming resolution. That was our next little section. So that's your gaming resolution. Sorry.
[00:42:22] Okay. So gaming resolution. Oh, wait. This Daniel have any goals for the podcast. Oh, Daniel. Yes. Oh, yes. I'm part of this fucking podcast. Okay. So Daniel, do you have any goals for the podcast? Yeah.
[00:42:40] I mean, I had two that were top of the list and I want to start the soft. I'm going to start 2023 off with a positive note because two of them are kind of already done. Number one, I had better lighting configuration.
[00:42:54] At least I have something to publish less and more nicer. So that's kind of off my list. I could develop that later, but the second bigger one really was making new better music for the show.
[00:43:06] I think because I kind of had this nagging thing for the first theme of season one and back my head like I
[00:43:13] man, I kind of did that in hurry and the sounds weren't great and I could have you know really made it sound like a like a good track. And I finally did that for season two.
[00:43:25] So I'll just talk a little bit about the process because it was kind of fun. This was, I think I worked, I sat down to do it and I think I worked in the studio from like 10 a.m. 5 p.m.
[00:43:38] So it took me like all day to come up with just that little intro that you hear with like the snare fill and the the noise sweep and all that and around four o'clock. And it's like, oh, I started recording like in a hurry.
[00:43:54] So it was a whole day of nothing substantial of writing at the piano to finally cycling through like the right sounds and it's hard to quantify that process.
[00:44:07] But it just goes to show you that you have to show up because the ideas are like out there in the universe and you just have to make that connection you have to make contact.
[00:44:17] And we were talking a lot about what the music should sound like, right? You know, we had our references. But I was when I was playing I tend to prefer the hybrid configuration of like the chiptune style with the real instruments because it's a little more universal.
[00:44:35] It's a little more commercial. That way and frankly a little less dinky, you know like I don't think I would have wanted just straight eight bit sounds or whatever it is chiptune sounds.
[00:44:44] And I think it's a lot cooler when you've got those real drums going and like electric guitar. Oh yeah, yeah, so I don't know the drums that drums have to be real for sure. Yeah, I thought so it sounded way better because 8 bit chiptune drums are just.
[00:44:58] Yeah, it's just like noise and distortion that's really all it is. So yeah, I think that's a pretty sweet goal because I love the fucking beam super proud of it. And I think it's bang or so I'm glad I got that done but goals for the podcast.
[00:45:15] I think that's pretty much all I have at least that I could think of for this show because that's a big one for me. I was really kind of I don't want to say self-conscious about season one theme.
[00:45:26] But I'm glad that I knocked that second theme out of the park because that's what I wanted to get done. That's what I wanted to hear and I'm glad we got it done. Yeah, it's definitely cool.
[00:45:36] I'm glad we got that done was really pumped about releasing that to for people to see. Interesting to see if we get any other feedback from it but what about gaming resolutions? You got me gaming resolutions for yourselves?
[00:45:52] Well, I think this year I'm going to stop buying so many fucking games. Like I have a ton, like not as much as Dave from GamePay's.
[00:46:07] Two dollar games but like I have a lot of games that I've purchased and I've not even booted up so I think this year I'm going to dig into my game blog. Choose a game. All the games coming out this year you're lying. Quit lying. You're lying.
[00:46:24] There's a blade. Okay, so the theme is lying to a screen resolution. My one that I did to fail immediately at the outset. The one I could get done is finally get all the way through breath of the wild before the new one comes out. Oh my gosh.
[00:46:47] I do the same thing as Witcher. I'd get to this question and I'd stop playing. And I'm going to push it through and get it over to your head of shake. Give your damn head of shake. But then again, check.
[00:47:01] Then again, we got Harry Potter coming out in a month. So... I don't know if I have that much for terms of gaming resolutions. I don't buy many games that I just don't play. It doesn't really happen a lot.
[00:47:20] I do have one game on my back log that I want to play because Pam got it for me for what the hell was it Christmas? Oh, actually. It was my birthday. It was in the sun of a life. Live a life. Yeah, so I gotta start that.
[00:47:33] I'll play that eventually. But that's pretty much it. And I wanted to do more of the halo playthroughs. I think we can get through at least a couple of the halo games and make some funny videos. That should be good. Daniel, do you get any resolutions? Yeah.
[00:47:48] Yeah, I have one that I think you'll like in particular. Oh, yeah. And I'm pretty serious about it. Please share. First I'll say, generally, yes, I would like to play more games. Okay. So I have a list here of things on my back log.
[00:48:04] This list includes the Witcher 3, God of War Ragnarok, the Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Stray, Zelda, Breath of the Wild, and Callisto Protocol. Those are kind of on my list for what I want at least. Play, Zelda I'm really close to beating.
[00:48:19] But there's a lot of side quests I feel like I haven't even done before. Like I'm ready to face Ganon, but I don't want to do that yet until I dig a little deeper. Credit roles are bonus because let's be honest with everything coming out this year.
[00:48:33] These immersive story games like Starfield and Hogwarts Legacy. How the fuck am I going to beat any of these? So RIP, Dan Dough. But that's like my first kind of resolution. I would just like to play these games on my list and get closer to beating them
[00:48:49] and dig a little deeper into what's coming out. So I can be part of the being the loop. So my second one, the bigger one, I have resolved to enhance my gaming experience in 2020-3.
[00:49:03] I think I'm going to make a change and spend upwards of $1,500 on an OLED TV. At some point I don't know when. But I feel like it's going to be this year today. It will be today. Don't leave it to fucking September or November.
[00:49:22] No, no, but it'll, I'm going to take a few months and think about what models are out there. Whatever and of course, Jonathan's been telling me to get certain ones. So we'll have a look at what they, the new ones will come out usually around spring,
[00:49:37] like March April. So you might see this on the older ones. No, yes. Yeah, but I mean, it's really not that much. There's always sales of your looking. There's sales. Well, like I said, about 1,500 bucks would be sweet so if I can add one at that price.
[00:49:53] Plus I'll be selling my current, yes, Samsung. So it'll make up some cost. So I think this year is the year, boys, 2023. It's a good year for Dan Dough. It's going to be my year. It's going to be my year. Everything's coming up, mill out.
[00:50:10] That's all I have for gaming goals or I should say podcast goals and gaming resolutions. Very cool. Good to hear. Yes. I like to hear it. Give your eyeballs a little treat. Yeah. Yeah, that's a 10. How about upcoming tech? You got anything here?
[00:50:32] I know you're excited about the PSVR. This is upcoming tech that is coming out. Have you made your decision yet nasty Nate? I'm going to get it, but it's going to take a while. I think I'm going to start putting peanuts away.
[00:50:46] And eventually I don't think you can trade peanuts for PSVR. No, Sony wouldn't let that. But yeah, I think I'm going to do it. I already got a bunch of bags. You look like it's like, oh my god. What were you giving me for these peanuts?
[00:51:01] I'll get the fuck out of you. You fuck it. Swim. Swim kick in the airs. But the more I watch videos and like the CES of it and what they're doing and the technology behind it, it's going to be a sick headset. It's going to be fucking sweet.
[00:51:19] Yeah, it does look cool. And the only shitty thing is about it you got to be tethered. So the dogs will probably pull my TV off the wall. Oh, then you can't walk and you don't even see them because you guys are going to die.
[00:51:33] I take the heads or houses. You're just as burning around him and he's just got ahead. He's like man, it's hot here. Just look at your top. Just be here and get you a little. I'm sweating. I'm working. We're going to go. Oh, how much like a.
[00:51:49] Just there. I just there. I'm just off the wall. I got all like he's punching holes in his TV. Oh, ultra red. That's a volley ball or something. It's like they're having to feed back. But I'm real feeling like I'm punching things. You say punching holes. It's real.
[00:52:06] With the headset, you can press a button and see the room. Right? So you can like come out of immersive mode and then see the room. Mac to reality. Yeah. So hopefully. But yeah, I won't be picking up at launch obviously.
[00:52:20] So it'll be a little wild as I put little bits of money. For it. Okay. I have, I actually saw something at CES this weekend, which is happening right now. As we speak, just the consumer electronic show all the new van dang old fancy. Yeah, shit.
[00:52:36] LG came out with a cool box. A little box. It's called the LG Zero Connect and it is a box that will come with their high end televisions. So that will send the signal Wi-Fi over wireless of technology of some kind.
[00:52:53] I don't know what they use, but apparently it will send all video signals up to 4k 120 HDR to the TV without any cables from their servers. Let's help from. So you want a nice clean aesthetic. You hang the TV all you have is one power cable. That's it.
[00:53:16] Wow, you have a power cable. You can plug in behind the TV. No, nothing else. Everything else you plug into this box. You plug the HDMI plug your PS5 whatever into the box somewhere else in your entertainment unit. Yeah.
[00:53:31] And it will send the signal to the TV over a wireless technology of some kind. I don't know how well it's going to work. There's repercussions of that would be like, but that's pretty cool. They had a 97 inch OLED with this Zero Connect thing going on there.
[00:53:49] Like patching that. 97 inch OLED. Also they have a 240 hertz OLED gaming monitor coming out. Oh, damn. That's money. That's crazy. Yeah, oh yeah. That's money. That's money. Anyway, that's all I really saw from there. Other than that, nothing really caught my eye. I saw something cool at CES.
[00:54:12] TCL has a new AR VR glasses. Oh, okay. I did see that. And they do real time language translation on the screen in your glasses. It's like a battle fish. Yeah, but for your eyeballs. So, and then so they were talking to,
[00:54:28] or it was a Chinese lady talking in Chinese. And he was reading her subtitles in real time. And then he could reply to her in English. Wow, but like in English. But like, yeah, if you were in Europe glasses too, here where these.
[00:54:43] Yeah, if you're in Europe, you would have these glasses on. And you're like, oh, I want to go to some restaurant in France. Right? And they're like talking to you and in Frossois. And you're like, oh, perfect. Prossois. Perfect. And then if they do it properly,
[00:54:58] you could probably be like, see any responses back? Like, you don't even. Like, oh, my pre-made responses. And then you just read the pre-made responses back. Be fucking sweet. And then future is here. Then I might actually be able to get a job without knowing French. You know?
[00:55:17] Interesting. Can it have? I'm kidding. That's pretty much it. I didn't really dig deep into you. Yeah, so. Yeah, me, that really. I just saw that cool LG thing. Hmm. Very cool. Um, although in Europe there is their release this new law.
[00:55:37] They have what's called the energy efficiency index in Europe. And so your TVs and your displays are only allowed to consume this much power based on whatever size it is. And there's a chart and a table. And it has to be underneath that.
[00:55:52] Or else you can't sell it right? Right. In this in Europe. So I guess there's a big controversy now of 8K TVs are like over that threshold. Like it's, they have to push the brightness super high and take up more power because the resolution is so big.
[00:56:09] And I guess it's a it's a big question right now if there's a future for 8K. I'm a question for you. So with that limitation put on manufacturers do you believe that limitation will create innovation? Hmm.
[00:56:27] So now they might not do TVs anymore because the panel is what the panel and lighting that panel takes a lot of power right?
[00:56:34] What if they go to like a projection system that can do 8K but keep it under the power and like short short throw projector kind of thing. Well, that's not a TV. They already have those. Okay. Well, those well, those people buy those to get their 8K.
[00:56:53] Oh, maybe Samsung just came up with one actually I think that was actually at CS was an 8K short throw laser projector. Fucking big brain here. Big brain. Yeah. Big brain tech. Yeah. Projectors they don't have the the blacks. Bro, they don't got the blacks. Yeah.
[00:57:08] You want your 8K. It's not a old. What do how much those power like how much did that take in the power? I don't know it's all in the chart. Let's talk about upcoming games so. I don't know if these are in order. Yeah.
[00:57:22] I don't think I wrote them in order but we have the first half of 2023. This was confirmed by Bethesda. I think the beset is a support page also just keeps the keeps saying this first half of 2023 for star field. Correct. Do you what do you think?
[00:57:38] I don't think that's half. First half? No, you don't think this is how it's going to be. It's going to be winter. To the 2023. Real. Lies. That's the first half. That's the first half. I thought they're saying it. That's what they're saying. I don't think so.
[00:57:57] They're saying it. First half. According to gamingtrend.com and other websites and art and platforms, but Bethesda had accidentally perhaps revealed with their star field support page launch. Yes. But it's no longer available. You can't see that page now. Oh. Yeah.
[00:58:19] So the game was to be released in the first half of 2023. That's what their launch page or that's what their support page said when they launched it. But now you can't access it. So it might have been an accidental slip up where they're intending to release it in
[00:58:34] First half of 2023, but I can't. Can't does this account for delays? No. You know what I mean? What it implies is I think that they are still on schedule. They still believe they are on schedule two release in the first half as opposed to them being like,
[00:58:50] Oh, well, we don't know now. So it might mean that could still come. What? When was that article? I was like, I saw this week. Just a few days ago. Okay. Well, we'll talk more about that later in maybe in our predictions section here.
[00:59:04] But let's talk more about the game itself. Now, I have been waiting for the space game. Forever. For a space game. We tried playing Star Citizen. I'm not playing Star Citizen. That was the only hope. I played no man's guy. I played like 60 hours, but it wasn't. Yeah.
[00:59:29] What? I was looking for, you know? That's basically just like a crafting simulator. I don't know. It's like a space crafting simulator. Not what I'm looking for. Base builder. It was a base builder. Base builder. Yeah. This game has big, big expectations. Not just for me.
[00:59:48] I mean, obviously, but I'm looking for a good game here. So I can fly around fucking space and shoot aliens and jet. So let's go. Yeah. Let's do this. I agree. Yeah. I want like missions. I want missions and shit. I can be story and places to explore.
[01:00:05] I mean with enemies that I can shoot and all that. I just, again, we want Skyrim but space. Yeah. It's all like space rooms. It's all like fucking one. Yeah. And no man's guy didn't have that. I mean, they had some interesting engagements and stuff like that.
[01:00:21] Some story, but it was a small thing. Short. Start a citizen. I guess we won't even go there. But isn't that funny how star field is still like on. What's the word? It's in line to be the benchmark still. It's like not even out yet.
[01:00:39] And it's going to be the only real game, at least by in that scale. By that scale, that's going to be like filling that seat. There might be other things on steam.
[01:00:50] Whatever who knows what kind of space games are out there where you can explore and shoot stuff and do missions. I'm sure. Yeah. But. And do you think whenever star field hits, there's going to be clones. There's going to be copies.
[01:01:03] There's going to be tons of stuff that are going to pop up like a couple months after. Yeah. It happens all the time or even more already being made just to capitalize on the. On the hype. Yep. All right. Cool.
[01:01:17] Next up, I have Spider-Man 2 which is a PS5 exclusive guys. This is going to be PS5 only no more developing for the PS4 at the same time. This is fall 2023. So obviously we're looking forward to this one.
[01:01:35] But I think that's going to be a big deal because it's a PS5 exclusive. It should really show what. What the what it can do, you know, what the system can do. Like how many other games are PS5 exclusive? So what?
[01:01:50] I wonder what engine it's going to be. There've been a lot of too. There's only been a few. Like are they going to keep the same engine. Oh, David Spider-Man and Miles Morales. I was. I was. That's what I'm also wondering how the last two games.
[01:02:05] They were amazing. Right, but they were also very similar in gameplay style. They used the same engine. It's not a bad thing. I guess. But do we really want just another one that's kind of kind of like the same, you know? I don't know.
[01:02:21] I want something for I'm hoping they bring something fresh here. It's not kind of the exact same because those last two games they were almost the same. Do you think they'll make it darker? Like a darker kind of game of a decal?
[01:02:32] A little bit darker because the venom's going to be in it. No, Craven I think. Craven is so good, man. Craven is one of the best Spider-Man villains. Like in the comics he is so badass. It's scary. Like he was sick. Nice in the comics. Next. Hopefully then.
[01:02:52] I would like a nice tone. A tonal shift would definitely be cool. The first Spider-Man and Miles Morales were. They weren't dark for say they were still a little kind of bubbly. I mean it's spider-man. Spider-Man is probably. Yeah, for sure. Which is fine.
[01:03:07] But it would be cool if it took that turn like the Batman did and you know with Robert Pattinson. That kind of twisty type of shit would be sweet within reason for Spider-Man game. But because I beat Spider-Man and Morales.
[01:03:20] I'm looking forward to how these two come together. Because they're presumably both going to be in it. So what that's going to look like. But yes, some fresh shit would be cool. Different swinging system. Even though there was great I loved it. Coatjust. Oh yeah. Any walk missions?
[01:03:38] Played two Spider-Man's. Maybe. Huh? But this don't go over these dates. Yeah exactly. No release date. Fall 23. It says fall 23. All right. Next we got Zelda tears of the kingdom baby. May 12th. 2023. Again. Again. Again. The same thing.
[01:03:57] I hope they bring something fresh here and it isn't the exact same as the breath of the wild in like a new package. And another thing I'm wondering about how different will the world be? You know what I mean? It's like they've already made high rule.
[01:04:10] They put it out there in the 3D open high rule world. They can't change it, right? Because that's high rule. We now know that as high rule. Wow. Is it going to be in the same map? Is it going to be in the same?
[01:04:21] Are they going to change it? They do those stupid like dimensions in universes too, right? So this could be a shattered high rule that's like shattered into a bunch of pieces and you're because he's falling from the sky a lot in a trailer. Yes true.
[01:04:36] So he could be jumping from a little bit of a high rule to other pieces of high rule and wouldn't okay. Yeah. I mean. Okay. So they're going to change up the world and not much else. Like it didn't look much different than that.
[01:04:48] You know what I mean? This could be again. I mean, what else can you really change it? If it's a good formula. Yeah. I mean, it should be good either way. The world looks the same. Like the map and everything has to kind of.
[01:05:01] It can maybe they can scale it to get a little bigger depending on what the switch can handle. And maybe change up the kind of graphics and the environments a bit. But the map will generally stay as they don't early need to change that. No.
[01:05:13] The only thing that's where they can make it feel fresh is can they increase the scale a bit, you know, the the area size and of the so that nothing seems so.
[01:05:22] You know, they can just take the high rule map that they have now and kind of expand it a bit. It doesn't need to be bigger vertical. It's going to be a vertical map or vertical. Yeah. I guess. Yeah. That's what it looked like.
[01:05:35] They like jump and I have giant floating islands of something. Yeah. Graphically though. Like as can't get any much better than breath of the wild, right? And like didn't really see unless are there screenshots right now?
[01:05:48] Unless they somehow implement some kind of upscaling that is available to that old piece of shit hard. Where did they running like maybe FSR 1.0 maybe but like what they can't do much graphically. I don't think. Yeah, don't expect much.
[01:06:07] Well, hopefully the story's kind of good because the breath of the wild had a good like all the story wasn't breath of the wild was the memories that you just collect. Yeah.
[01:06:17] Some of them like really nice to like they were nice but like it wasn't a full like narrative. What do you mean? It was just kind of like you piece together what happened and it's sick these little five second memories are written about it.
[01:06:32] Yeah, that's how they told it right? That's how they decided to tell. I mean, it was okay though. It was cool. But let's let's let's hope for a little bit more. We got Hogwarts February 10th. I can't wait. I can't. That's the name.
[01:06:48] Nasty Nate has it pre pre order. Yeah, I'm a gut that for me. You get early access. Yes, I'm a pre-ordered that for me for Christmas. I get 72 hours early access. And I get a mount and I get a uniform and a uniform in all this shit.
[01:07:07] Yeah, like oh I watched the video. It's like this Griffin mount thing. It looks so sick. What? Oh yeah, I think I saw that. Yeah. It looks sweet. Freaks. And when they were pre-registered. They were flying around.
[01:07:18] They took the Griffin out and they were flying around the environment. I am pumped. I'm pumped. I'm pumped. I hope they don't. The Griffin out there and I hope they don't let me down.
[01:07:26] Me and the other non pre order people like Jonathan are going to have to play like a bunch of fucking mudbloods and not have a sweet mount at first. I'm going to try to stream it for you guys. I'm going to try to stream it for you guys.
[01:07:38] And we'll have a 72 hour. Are you allowed to do that in the early 72 hours of streaming? Are you allowed? Is that allowed? I take away what they're going to do. I'm going to do in ban him from getting any other in the future. Yeah, your ban.
[01:07:51] What are the guys going to do? No, don't ban me from Hogwarts. No. Yeah, I'm going to play for sure. I would like to, I wonder if you'd be able to choose. You'd probably be choosing your house that you started in a run.
[01:08:03] I bet you they'll put that on and they'll do something. You're like question air thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. That's okay. Yeah, so you're not like just openly choosing because you could be. You have to be allowed to openly choose as a wizard.
[01:08:17] You would just, they would choose based on exactly what your thoughts are and I'll let you. I'm actually like fabel. You'd be like fabel where you like, where you could become like a kind of an evil guy. Yeah, you would always do it. Well, I think so.
[01:08:31] If you can practice the dark arts, why wouldn't you be able to do your things that affect your. Okay, you're saying here in says well and no, I don't think they're going to do a parents. You know, like you just become some free. Yeah, some make. Three guys.
[01:08:43] Yeah, that's so fucking awesome. How would they not have considered that? Ah, that would be cool. We'll see. Do you have a little for June six? Another one. Can't wait. What a list we got going here. This is not even this is just the stuff that we're in.
[01:08:58] Yeah, not even. I don't think we're going to get into this stuff that we're not really interested because no whatever, but like don't care. Don't didn't write it. Don't care. Don't care. Mostly fernothan, no. I might try it, but that's in the summer.
[01:09:12] So at least we have a summer game here. I think this might be an Alma. Are going to be in that game? Like, oh, I'm going to get it for PS5 probably. Really? Yeah. Yeah. Little beat crosspot for me anyway.
[01:09:27] Like, is that we're going to, is that we're now? That's going to be game. We're going to get into that with a couple of questions I have for you guys in the gaming predictions. Okay. Okay. But I am definitely looking forward to Diablo 4. Definitely. Okay.
[01:09:41] What about Assassin's Creed Myrage? 2023. Unknown. Probably later in the year. That's the bag that won right. Excuse me. Assassin's Creed Mirage. Yeah. But did you guys see their coming up with a shit ton of them? There's one in Japan where you're like an Inja, which obviously I'm looking
[01:10:01] for to probably the most. She no beat. But I think that's what that one's going to be part of their live service one. I don't really know much about it yet. But I saw like their teaser trailer. I was like, oh, it's good luck. That'll be cool.
[01:10:15] Good luck against Ghost of Sushima 2. That's going to be coming out. Yeah. And the next couple of you got us. No. Don't even try. You be soft. Well, I mostly put that one on here for maybe Dan to off because he played.
[01:10:27] It's a well, a soul so much but I'm not a huge Assassin's Creed guy. Two big. Two big. You be soft. Games are two big. They are big. But it's the history man. It's the it's the world for me and see immersion.
[01:10:40] What about the lies of P lies of P. Oh, 2023. Unknown date. Probably later in the year. If they don't have the guy to do this one. Have I heard of this one? How is it? Interesting. It's like a Pinocchio soul's retelling.
[01:10:55] It's like a darker retelling of Pinocchio or something. It's very steep. I won't be. Yeah, like a stall. Oh, I see. Oh, gotcha gotcha. I will wait for reviews in this one because I thought I heard about people comparing it to like a soul's game. It's game.
[01:11:11] Game pass. Oh, is it okay? Game pass. Game pass. That's pretty. Pretty toy. It looks cool. But like I'm not going to if it's hard. Like I'm not going to sit there and bang my head against a wall for hours fighting bosses. Like, I'll just not play.
[01:11:27] But it's got that I will try. It's a style. But it looks kind of really cool. It's a steam punk thing.
[01:11:32] And I guess the way that the whole Pinocchio thing is there's going to be like a system where you have to like lie to people in order to get like different outcomes and different things you say to people will affect what happens.
[01:11:46] And I guess that's how the whole lying cool thing. And your nose just goes, but my nose is going to be so large. Just poking people in the eye. Alright, next we got armored core six fires of Rubicon. Unknown date 2023. Man, I'm 100% going to check this out.
[01:12:08] So they said 2023 for this? Yeah. Said unknown 2023. Wow. From from software. I'm going to check this out. Armored core two on PS2 we owed at PS2 launch. We went to Walmart at 5am on the week of Dan Dolph's birthday in the year 2000. Don't why 2k.
[01:12:31] It was end of October. I waited at outside of Walmart 5am with my mom and my friend and then. And we brought it home. And we played the shoot out of that game. But I don't really remember it and I definitely didn't play anything after the second month.
[01:12:47] I didn't even know there were the 3rd or 4rd 5 so. Maybe even I could go check those out. This. I don't. I'm interested in this. Yeah, look. The trailer look. I don't remember much. Look. Here's one for Dan Dolph. Maybe a new game that he can play.
[01:13:04] Scull and bones. March 9th. March 9th. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I haven't written here and I put it as an obligatory inclusion because like I've got to try it.
[01:13:19] I'd still like to play it but it's at the bottom of my list for a reason. I don't know if the March thing is going to end up panning up. We haven't heard anything. We've seen a trailer of some game play.
[01:13:30] But we've heard more about Starfield at this point than we have. Scull and bones haven't we? Yeah, cause they had. I think this just drops and it's a sick game. Like this drop in March and boom. Well, I mean, it's possibility.
[01:13:44] It's possibility but yeah, I'm definitely going to try it because I've got to see. I've got to see what it's about. I love. I love. Friggin Navel battle. It's sweet. Why would it be dry? Dirty pirate. I don't care about things like.
[01:13:58] I wonder how open it's going to be. Yeah. I don't care. On the sea. Yeah. I don't care about not getting off your ship and getting to explore islands. It's like I've seen these for that. There's plenty of beautiful islands and see if these. Oh, really see what.
[01:14:12] You only want it to be a naval battle. See, like that's the hell you're talking about, man. If that's the focus because that's how they're moving right now. That's how they're going to be.
[01:14:22] There's going to be a bit of a story and it's like an online naval battle. Sin where it's like that's the. The heart and soul of the game is you customize your ship. You take out other ships. You have crews that can mutiny, blah, blah, blah.
[01:14:36] And that's what it is. It's not a screw. It's just mutiny again. Every every game. It doesn't seem to be about a whole fleshed out story where there's like, you know, tons of land to explore and you know, you're going from sea to land to whatever.
[01:14:51] It doesn't really seem that way. So I'm not getting my hopes up because the less you expect, the lesser disappointed. I'll just want to try it out for what it will be. Well, find out. March 9th. I thought I googled it. I didn't see a date.
[01:15:04] Okay, so scallon bones. What else we got met anything? We missed here. I got nothing else on the list, but maybe you guys got something. What about cyberpunk 277 Phantom Liberty? Of course. It's a deal. It's a deal. It's a highly highly anticipated DLC.
[01:15:23] I don't know if it's going to be the first and only. Yes, it will be. I did hear some rumor about an end of life patch coming soon for the game, which is kind of sad. But I don't know.
[01:15:32] I don't really know what the implications of that are, but I'm just really looking forward to what we're going to get like what little snack CDPR is going to put in the game. I mean, the story is, you know, one thing.
[01:15:44] But I'm just hoping they're going to include those things. Like, remember we talked about garage isn't being able to take anybody's car that you fucking love that you see. And you can store it somewhere in it. It's yours or like tattoo part of it's stuff.
[01:15:55] I just wonder if that stuff is going to be coming. But I think we're going to get something pretty special for the DLC. It looks really cool. Well, I'll play it. Yeah. Okay. I'll play it. I'm not going to be a free one either. I don't think so.
[01:16:09] You're going to be paying for this one. I don't think so. I don't really care either. Like, oh, I'll give a CDPR has. Yeah. Yeah, I've got a gift card from Walmart because I got a new phone. So they gave me a gift card.
[01:16:20] So maybe I'll save it for a bunch of games that I can play. Oh, there you go. Nice. You guys interested in Final Fantasy 16. No, not really. Yeah. I didn't like 15 all that much. I'm sure they'll find someone to put a wallet chain on in this game.
[01:16:41] You know. I'm just joking. What about the Final Fantasy 7? The next one that's coming up. It'll stick to the load. Yeah. The next part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake. Oh, there's two parts coming down. I'm just going to be like, this is going to be 3 years.
[01:16:55] Oh, my god. I'll have to play that next one. But I'm sure that's coming up in 2023. Yep. I did really well. You know, it else is coming in 2023, guys. Age of Empires to definitive edition for console. Yeah, that's weird. January. It's disgusting.
[01:17:13] I just thinking about playing an RTS on a console. This makes my brain. Yeah. I don't know how they're going to do it. I don't know how they're going to do it. Well, you play with mouse and keyboard. No, they're going to have full on control.
[01:17:23] They were support ready to go. They said they've been. They've been designing it where it will work fluently and very surprisingly well. They said with the console with the controller. So the risingly well. So it works the most. Well, it's the risingly well. I'll see. All right.
[01:17:44] Anything else? No. I think that's all. I really just thought we should mention Phantom Liberty. That's how. We'll play it. All right. Well, let's get into gaming predictions. Get some predictions. We were talking about some things that you said you can mention.
[01:18:00] But I have a question for you guys about game of the year next year. Now do you think it's going to be one of these ones that we mentioned?
[01:18:10] Or do you think it's going to come out of nowhere and there's going to be this game of the year that no one saw coming? I personally think it will be one of the ones that we've been waiting for. Yeah. It's Spider-Man 2. Depending when it comes out.
[01:18:24] That's the one. I'm waiting. Because there's a cutoff date, right? For a game of the user. Oh, yeah. There must be a lot of the assuming you have to there's a cutoff that's fall. Game of the game. I keep seeing that game of the war.
[01:18:36] I've got to work in November. Yeah. It came like a week before the the voting was happening or something like that. Well, it says fall for Spider-Man 2. So. I mean, I. There has to be.
[01:18:48] I mean, it has to be one of these games that we're looking forward to because they're so huge like they're they're the the cock of the walk there. The big the big the big business. The business or the cats pajamas of what's coming out in 2023.
[01:19:00] So it has to be one of them like, why imagine imagine it's like. Man, street came out of nowhere and it almost. I guess I mean it depends yeah, it depends on the kind of buzz that it gets around.
[01:19:13] Then how many people are just going to take caught off guard by it. How much they love it. But if you think about it, like the I don't really recall there being a huge buzz around Elden ring before it came out.
[01:19:28] You know, like the years leading up to Elden ring. I don't think there was a big buzz about that. No, and then it like the buzz happened maybe when it came out. I feel like six months before it came out or something. Yeah.
[01:19:42] And then it was like, buzz like buzzing. And then it fucking blew everyone's mind. Right. So is that what you're saying about things that like it's not on our radar yet, you know, yeah.
[01:19:54] Yeah, maybe for me I think I'm going to I'm going to be more of a negative Nancy here. Can I say that anymore? I don't know. Negative. I don't know. You do negative. Negative. I'll do negative. Wanted to be a more positive show. Yeah. That's right.
[01:20:11] You may offend Nancy's every. Yeah. Nancy's all the all change it to negative Nate. But, uh, there you go. Negative nasty. But I think a lot of these big games are going to fall short.
[01:20:23] They're going to upset people and then there's going to be a rocky ball bower that comes out of nowhere and knocks it out of the park and wins that title of Boa. You know, like underdog story. You think so I'm going to go with that.
[01:20:37] YouTube goes that one. I'm going to go this way. Somebody bookmarked this. Somebody will come back to this moment. You think anything will be delayed? Yep. Oh, yeah. What's going to be delayed? Well, like I said, skull and bones was my best. So it's for fun.
[01:20:55] It's so nice. I was like, I'm going to put this down for fun and just say, skull and bones not coming out of March. Scull and bones is going to get canceled straight up is what I thought. That was the other one.
[01:21:07] It was like delayed and or a cancel. David, just straight up. But yeah, I must I'm expecting something to come up and be like, okay, well, we're not quite ready to have the thought in when we wanted to. So I don't know.
[01:21:21] Like I said, I don't think Starfield's coming out before summer. I don't think so. So is that your game that you think isn't is going to be delayed? Oh, yeah. Do you have any games on in mind either? Well, let me go back a bit here.
[01:21:33] I had a question for you guys that are going to be delayed. Like not just if anything's going to be delayed, we could say that's very broad. But do you have any actual specific predictions like what game you think may be delayed? What's more susceptible to being delayed?
[01:21:45] I already said skull and bones obviously. But no, I don't, I mean, probably there's not a lot of set. Did release dates anyway. So that's true. That's true. I don't think we can say that.
[01:21:56] So I had a question for you guys about the game of the year thing. What the real question is, I think, is, do you think Xbox or Microsoft will be even in the conversation of game of the year this year? Will they even be in the nominations?
[01:22:18] Like an Xbox first first first first first. Like a Microsoft Studios game. Oh, no. So like Starfield wouldn't count. Yeah, they're under the umbrella. Yeah. Microsoft Studios. I think they are there in the conversation already with Starfield for sure.
[01:22:36] And what's that other one that's coming out about about? Yeah, we haven't heard anything about that since the launch trailer either. Okay. Well, I think they'll be in just from just from Starfield alone. Yeah, so you think that you think Starfield's going to be in the nominations?
[01:22:53] Could be. Yeah. I think that's why they're probably any money they want to get the game out in the first half of the 24th or so it is considered known. You saw that one last month. The game of the year awards were huge this year.
[01:23:08] Yeah, and that something right or not, I think they're considering when they're trying to get this game out. They obviously want to be considered for awards too, right? I don't think Xbox has won one yet. I think I don't know.
[01:23:26] I think they're not going to be the first one. But they haven't won a game of the year yet, I've no idea. And it's him. No idea. I think he's game of the year started. Did you Google that or are you just talking out of your big ass?
[01:23:36] Your fat ass. So a game of the year started in 2014 was established. Yeah, until 2014. And none of them were Xbox games. Okay. Interesting. Well, maybe it'll be the year for for Xbox and Starfields. If anything's winning it, you know, obviously Starfields there. Well, what about? How in jewel?
[01:24:05] What about Nintendo? What about tiers of the kingdom? What about tiers of the kingdom? Do you think this is a show? I didn't. I'd game of the year because like, it's a bit of a zelto. To be honest, like, what Zelda game wasn't a fucking banger, right?
[01:24:18] Yeah, they're generally pretty good. But, you know, they did put out that links of awakening that didn't get that much in terms of, because I think it's just a different scale. It's a game caliber. Gamecube? No, the new one on Switch. The remake. Yeah.
[01:24:35] So now, again, I think it was the caliber thing. So I think that if anything tiers of the kingdom is going to be looked at with more seriousness, I guess it's going to be taken more seriously. What about this?
[01:24:49] We have a switch OLED tiers of the kingdom leaked pictures surfaced online. And we saw them on Twitter and whatnot. Now, whether these are real or not, how long before there's a new Nintendo console? Will we see an announcement in 2023 for a new Nintendo? Nintendo? Nintendo? Nintendo? Consul?
[01:25:12] Italian? Nintendo. I think digitally, the Lebdea Digital Foundary reported that Nintendo had plans on doing a Switch Pro, but they canceled it. In order to just focus on a new console. Oh, really? Yep.
[01:25:27] Now are they going to be, I think we're going to hear an announcement this year. So I'm done. I'm not going to come out this year. No way. Right. But they're going to announce a new, maybe no Switch, but a new console.
[01:25:40] It's obviously going to be another handheld. Like, yep, I don't think they can, they can stray away from that since the success that this Switch had. There's no way they're going to go the other way.
[01:25:52] I was, it took a while for me to jump on the Switch train. Okay? Like, like a, like a while. Yes. And after having the Switch OLED in my hands and playing it for the past, I think I had it for almost a year now.
[01:26:09] It is so good. And it's so good because it's got everything that you could imagine in that, in that handheld for me anyway. As a handheld, it's almost perfect. So like what can they do for another handheld system to make it better than the Switch OLED?
[01:26:35] I don't know. What can you guys think of the top of your head? What can you think that you would add better than a Switch OLED? What would you add to the Switch OLED to make it better? Obviously are the Joycons, the same because those are ship.
[01:26:49] Honestly, their performance is to me. Yeah, they're probably, or that's what their job is. They're going to shit about it. Focus on right? So are they, honestly, that they're probably just going to release a Switch, quote unquote, pro as a new console, right?
[01:27:02] Because then you, I don't think they'll call it that though. Right. They're not going to call these such. But they're going to put a better CPU GPU in. They're going to, they're going to make it future proof for a long time. Like the Switch lasted 10 years.
[01:27:17] You call it a Squanch? What does the Switch come to? The Nintendo Squanch. 2017. So what? That's six years of far. Okay. If they do announce a new console, the new console ain't going to be out for another three years. Imagine that's not handheld though.
[01:27:37] They're going to be cool. Like a new console. They can't do that. Imagine. Yeah, there's no way. There's no way. Like having had one since. I guess we was like the last console that we didn't have a screen on. Right.
[01:27:51] Yeah. So there's no way they don't, they don't go screen handheld. We use it. Yeah. But there's, they've got to cook something. Because Nintendo cooks new shit up, right? So they've got to, they're going to make something good. They're demographic though. Yeah. It's for kids. Okay. Yeah.
[01:28:08] That's a big thing. You think kids care about 4K? Zero chance this is going to be a 4K system. Absolute zero. So forget that. What about happening? Even 2K I highly doubt it. This will be a 1080p handheld and on the screen. It may be well upscale.
[01:28:27] Maybe I do. I do. It'll leave your TV to upscale because TVs do that. No, they'll be able, because with the new, with the new Nvidia chip in there, you're going to be able to do DLSS at least a little bit. Well, okay.
[01:28:40] You got anything else? What are any predictions? I may have something. This may be considered an easy prediction. But let's just see. If Starfield's little slip-up was revealing that they were to release the game in the first half of 2023.
[01:28:58] If this is true, we may very well have some sort of showcase coming in the first quarter to get that hype train rolling. Right? Do you guys think there's going to be some sort of Microsoft showcase
[01:29:09] something showing up more of the game coming in like the first three months somewhere between now and March, they got to show us something. So I have a feeling that something might be around the corner. We'll see. We'll see. What's your cut off? What's your cut off month?
[01:29:26] Do you need for every March? Are you saying are you asking me if there's going to be a showcase of Starfield before March? Well, between now and March's March is end. So April first. Sure. I say no. Okay. I say so you think it's going to come after.
[01:29:46] Yeah, they'll be a showcase but it's not going to be in January for every or March. Really? No insight on that. No idea. I'm going to say yes. And I could be wrong. But I'm going to say this, I feel like there's something coming. Okay.
[01:30:02] They got some cooking because they only have till what's the first half. June. You only have to land a June. So I'm doubling down. I'm doubling down that this game is not coming out before. Okay. Oh, we'll find out. I've got a question for you guys here.
[01:30:20] Big one. This might be a big one. Will. Will activation Blizzard finally merge this year and get through. This fucking bullshit. I mean, it'll be resolved. Sure. This year. I don't know what to you believe. It'll be resolved before Diablo 4 release. June. Yes.
[01:30:43] They probably want it to be yes. I would imagine that's probably a on the house keeping list for them. Yeah, a goal for them to do. Okay. Another question. If it does get resolved and it's all good to go.
[01:31:00] Do they release Diablo 4 to game pass day one with crossplay between all platforms? So PS5, Xbox and PC. So everyone's playing together across all platforms or is it just going to be cross platform between PC and Xbox? I don't know.
[01:31:25] I don't really know much about the whole Blizzard active. I don't follow them as well. I think because it's such an established franchise, they won't lock it out. I don't think they won't lock it over PS5. Like they're promising that this stuff about Colot duty.
[01:31:44] Like I think it would fall under that realm as well. Like they wouldn't stop PS5 players from playing it. I don't know. Like now not for playing it, but from crossplay. So Sony has been notorious for coiboshing crossplay in the past. Are they over that?
[01:32:04] Maybe it's maybe Sony. It has Microsoft painted Sony as this anti crossplay, anti consumer, anti gamer company where Sony is going to be forced to say, okay. Well, let's get the crossplay. We're still cool. I don't know. I see that'll be interesting to see for sure.
[01:32:24] And I think they want to really bring the fan base back and kind of show they're not a big, well they are a big greedy corporation, right? But like, I think they're going to try to really give us as much as they can.
[01:32:40] And then they'll do a shitty battle pass for cosmetics. I don't think it's going to be like a pay-to-win latering system all that kind of stuff. I don't think they're going to do. They received such huge backlash for immortal, so maybe not.
[01:32:55] But it is a mobile game, so that's. And you are paying 90s, and you are paying 90 bucks for this one, right? So when this if the stars do align and the deal goes through, we'll Microsoft try to bring world of warcraft to consoles.
[01:33:09] Kind of like how Sony brought or helped the bring Final Fantasy 14 to just form his wife. I think they do. I think they do. I don't think they're going to invest that much more into world of warcraft. You don't think so? It can't be.
[01:33:28] Dude, it's got a video. Yeah, Elder Scrolls Online. I thought PC exclusive first. Wasn't it? Or was it both? No, it's not PC. Well, but like, I gotta tell you, if it came to console, I'd consider it exactly. Exactly. This is exactly what I'm talking about. Wow.
[01:33:46] You consider playing like, but they still play every now and then. So it'd be fun to kind of dip into. I wouldn't. Oh my goodness. And I can tell you this. I played Final Fantasy 14 on PC and PS5 and I enjoyed my time on the PS5.
[01:34:01] It was fantastic. It was awesome. Maybe sitting on the couch, playing an MMO like that. If they can bring, Wow, two Xbox and Xbox only. I think it'd breathe a whole new, whole new life into this game with console players with PC players.
[01:34:20] Under, well, because the Microsoft Clouds, what is the future of World Warcraft? I thought it's like they have to do something and has to go somewhere. So maybe that's going to be their chance. Well, it depends how much they want to keep going in. Yeah.
[01:34:34] I thought it was going to be. It's been out for fucking long. I thought it was going to be over two expansions ago. I was like, what the fuck did they possibly still tell about this? Right. I am playing it. Yeah, exactly. I'm playing it right now. Exactly.
[01:34:46] Now that's an interesting one. I'd like to see, I'd like to see that happen personally because I don't PC game anymore. And that's why I don't play. Wow anymore. I enjoyed it, but it would be cool to try it on console. All right.
[01:34:58] Well, with that, I think we're out of time here. But what we want to know is for everyone listening. We want to know. Should I open up these 16 boxes with my cursor? Okay. No, just kidding. What are your predictions for 2023? Do you have game of the predictions?
