Hello everybody, and welcome to another episode of the Elder Trolls Gaming podcast. If you are new and joining us, we are two brothers who get together and talk about gaming. So she was a cold one today. You know, shit, do you know how fucking low it got? It was like minus twenty two. Twenty seven, minus twenty seven with the windshill this morning. Yeah, it was. My door was actually frozen shut, and I tried to go outside to shovel the driveway. Our back door was frozen. Our brand new patio door back door, which we replaced because the other one cut freezing, was frozen. Yeah, brand fucking new. But it was because there's a little chunk of ice on the track that I had to go in there and dig out, froze my fingers and then it shut. But yeah, it was my twenty two without the wind chill today? What's that in a? What's that in a? In American? For the American minus twenty minus sixteen zero point six? Wow, Grease fair night. That's cold as shit. It's cold as hay Yeah. Yeah, that's right. All right, Well, we're gonna go for a couple of little news things. Talk about some games today, talk about some games we've been playing. Well, I'm gonna talk about I just bought my chair. I got my chair. Finally there you go look at two things. Let's see it. Move it two weeks. Get out the fucking way. Interesting shape on the top. There is that just the cushion, okay. Magnet magnet tized. Oh that's cool. Wow, no free no free ads. But it's a black light. I didn't get the leatherette. I got the cloth because I get sweaty, right, Yes, of course it's very nice. And this is that a Is that like a suede? No, no, swede? No no, it's a very high quality like uh inchro. I don't know how you say. It not knitted, but it looks like it's spun, you know. Oh it's got like a pattern tweed, tweed, hounds tooth maybe something that hound's tooth. Chair Man, I can like it's My hips aren't crushed anymore, they're just it's just wide open. I'm just sitting here. Oh man, Yeah, that's so good. The only thing is it's a bit low, so I had to lower my electronic desk another like I'd say about an inch and a half. I mean, I have the my desk at the lowest setting, and I have my chair at the highest it can possa and I have a two inch cushion on my chair. Oh wow, yeah, how your leg's not falling asleep? I have long legs, they're on the ground. Yeah. Mine, If I if I put my feet on the ground with like my knees like straight and everything, my knees are kind of going up a bit. So I have to like kind of just I'm super high, like I'm jacked up here. No, So I emailed them. I was like, is there any way that I can lift this thing up? Just buy like an inch or two And they're like, no, but you can buy a third party class for hydraulic gas unit thing to replace the stock one, right, and those can range any size you want. You just gotta find it. I was like, oh shit, oh the little piston, Yeah, a little piston. Yet the strut the strut prince of pistoliers. So I might get that, but I might not because I heard because I was looking up how do you how you remove these pistons after you've installed them? And apparently they're a pain in the ass to like get them out of the chair. Really, Yeah, isn't just a cylinder? No, because once you press it in, I think there's like this weird hook that happens or this like thing because it's got to keep the air in there right, like up and down. So when it presses into the chair, it makes this weird connection that you have to like unscrew or something. Though it's just a cap that's a pressing. You just lift it off. No, because I tried lifting with the territor just didn't you put it on? Yeah? I put it on, and when I sat down you can hear it's like, right, it's like this, there's like this connection that happens. I don't know it went into your buttthole. You're like, oh, I felt this connection. I felt a deep connection with my chair, with my chair. No, I felt like something like that is this love? I love love? Well. I got a whole new desks sit stand motorized desk. Here. I could go up, I can go down. I could do it right now. M hm. You probably can't even see that. Actually nice. No, that's the frame. Mine for a while. But it's not anything crazy. It's just like a pasta. I just couldn't stand sitting, like sitting all day, sitting work, coming home, sitting in the game. I can stand the game now if I want, you know, now, I stand here. Boom. Yeah took me forever. Yeah to fucking set teary fatigue. Did you get an anti fatigue matt for your to stand on? No, I have pretty good insoles in my slippers. I have a nice insul. Buy FP their skateboarding insuls. They fixed my foot problem. I was having a foot problem and I put all these insuls in all my shoes and my slippers, and now my foot problem is gone. Like cramping. No, I had like a metatarsalgia or something. Oh shit, Like it's like a it feels like there was a rock in between the ball on my foot, like if I walked on hard services or I afnything was hard like it. It's just inflammation of the bones in your bottom of your feet, like in the balls of your feet. Went away, went away thanks to FP insols. Baby. No uh, no advertising here, Yeah, no free ads. I go to the Dollars store for my shoe inserts. Interesting, I'm sure your body feels great. That's why I got the chair, So I keep using my dollar store inserts. All right, let's get into game time here. All right, So I want to talk about Alan Wake two. It's not grabbing me, you know, it's I don't know what it is. It looks beautiful, and it kicks the shit out of my computer when I play it. There's no FSR three and there's no FSR three frame generation in this game. That's unfortunate. It drives me crazy. So I had to modit, and I had to like side load FSR three in using that DLSS hack you like trick the game into thinking you have an Nvidia card, but then it injects the FSR three DLL and then you can turn on FSR three frame gen by checking the DLSS box. Like, how how is it? I played it on mine? Or did I play it on my thirty eighty? Oh? I don't remember, but yeah, it looks amazing. I just I don't like the whole detect like doing the whole detective work, you know, like using my brain. Oh you don't like using your brain? I see, Like like I was right at the beginning of the game and it's I had to like collect light bulbs with that fucking lamp, and I was like, what what am I supposed to do here? I don't recall. Really, Yeah, I. Got through that, and then I was in the swamps just running back and forth, got lost you get lost a lot, and like, I don't like being lost and kind of creeped out and scared. You know, it makes me sick. Oh, why it's scary. It's what it's supposed to do. Yeah, it makes me sick of my stomach, really, and I get sweaty. The game is not that scary. It's not like that's scary. It's just like there's like this tense like vibe, you know, happening. Anyway. I don't like the detective work I have to do, like the photos on the wall and all that shit, and I find it like loses. Like I'm into the game and I'm going and then I have to stop and do detective work and it kind of slows it down when it finally starts picking up, and I gotta slow it down. Switch different like worlds, whatever the fuck he's doing on his typewriter, like flipping like, so, I'm really trying. I'm really trying to go deeper into the game, but it's just not it's not not grabbing me. Too bad? Yeah that's too bad. Can I do a boo boo for you here? No, I don't have it. I would. What else? I beat Dispatch with Alma. We played through. It really the whole time. Yeah, it was a couples It was a couple's game, Like I controller off to her and then. Did you ever fight about what to choose? Well, you only have like five seconds to choose, right, I guess. So usually the controller, whoever has the controller gets the gets the choose kind of thing. Gets the final say. Yeah, yeah, it's a good game. I beat it twice. Oh nice, I'm going through it again right now. Right from the beginning, it's so good. It's like super It's got that high quality feel to it. You know. I wish they would have just made it a TV show. I would just watch the TV show. Yeah. It kind of is kind of like Invincible maybe a little. Bit like yeah, I like this Morning Invincible. Yeah. I only watched the first season of Invincible actually, and yeah, but it's fucking good. It's really good. It's really good, really really good, and it makes you really because you get to choose right and you're invested in those choices and you have to see those choices through. So my ending was pretty good. I enjoyed my ending. I got the shitty ending first, and then I got a good ending. I went all the way back to chapter three and made sure I tried to choose deliberate things to try to get the ending okay, and I think I think I failed. And then I was like, it didn't work. So I went back again one chapter and I started the chapter over again that I was in because I think there's like something you have to successfully do in in the missions otherwise you don't get one of the endings. See, I had that problem with chapter the beginning of chapter four. I had to keep going back and playing that. Yeah, I bet you did. Beginning chapter four interesting. There was just something not right. I had to. Keep watching it over and over and over again. Okay, there's something not right there, but yeah, we're all fantastic. Like I ripped it apart for not being an actual video game, and I still stand by that that's not really a game except for those like little parts where you have to like send your heroes out. It is you have to you have to level them up to yeah, I guess, so that you cover all of your like your stats to cover all of the different missions, you know what I mean. Otherwise you're left hanging and if you don't have a hero that has speed or whatever. Then you're going to fail all of the speed checks, so you have to kind of diversify your your stat line, your team's stat line. So it is a game. That's a game, yeah, a very it's a visual game. Yeah yeah yeah, but yeah, I keep I just wanted I wanted to just keep going, like me Tooish. I hope they do a lot of like story expansions or DLCs. That would be sweet. That would be really sweet. Yeah. I don't know if they had a roadmap or anything planned. I didn't. I didn't check, but that would be really cool. And it was thirty five bucks, well worth thirty five dollars. Eight hours, about an hour an episode? Yeah, about an hour and episode eight eight hours or so. Definitely worth it. And I love to see like after the episode's done, like all the people, what others did You're like the percent of this and percent that was really really cool. Very cool to see that. I was surprised at some of it. I'm like, oh, like, only like forty percent of people chose like chose to go to the movies within Visigal. I'm like, really, like, she's not the best girl in visy girl is not the best girl. Interesting, I thought she was sure. She was my best gal. Yeah, but yeah, very cool, very cool. I like the voice. Acting is really good. Yeah, Aaron Paul, you got what's it? What's her face? Oh she's all over the Twitter verse and stuff that that Atlanta Pierce. She's big, she's big, and I see her all over. She's like a streamer streamer and she works at Santa Monica Studios. Oh she's Malevola. Yeah. And then then Charles Moist critical is bad guy. Yeah he was. He was fucking sweet. I don't know who did the water Boy was fucking funny to fucking Nerd. Yeah. I was like, I was like, oh, do we choose water Boy or do we choose the whatever? And I really wanted to choose water Boy, but I'm my head final say, because she had the controller. I chose water Boy my first play through, and then I chose the other guy, my Psyenoma man. Yeah, Phenomena man. He's kind of annoying though, because. Because he gets depressed. Yeah, because he gets depressed and you have to deal with that the whole time he's there, not just like in that one part when you get him later, Like he's like that the whole time I'm like, oh my god, dude, are you serious? But his stats are really good but phenomena. Man, he's an alien. Man, it's so funny. Excellent game. I give it a nine nine and a half. There was a what was the problem I had? I remember mentioning a problem I had with it. That they cut out the sex scenes. No, it was something else. Oh, it's because up until that one point, none of your shit mattered, like. Up until chapter three. That's what I said. Yeah, that's what I do. Just start over at chapter three. But I guess they had like a main they had a main story, right, and you're gonna have to go through this main story and it was kind of rock solid and what and who plays their part in that story? Because no matter what you do, whenever chapter four comes along, it's the same scene, right, Yeah, And I was, I was. I liked the scene, Yes, but it kind of does give people. It's like, oh, it's like a little bit of a bias for for invisit girl, I think, yeah, for sure, And you're like, there's no scene like that for Blondie, you know, which, Yeah, so it's like almost like they wanted you to kind of. And that's what I mean, that's what I didn't like about it. You wanted your your your blonde blazer scene. I wanted based on all the choices that I did in the first three episodes, whoever it would be just past someone else in there, you know. But then I haven't played through it many times, so I'm assuming there's only two. Romances, you know. Yeah, yeah, I think so. Anyway, Yeah, it's cool, very very fucking cool. Well, let me tell you about this game I played yesterday. I played a game, a cozy game. I don't know why. I played this game randomly popped up on my It popped up on my Steam feed a little cozy. Oh my god, dude, I'm I just popped up Steam. You know what they have here on sale? I didn't even know that they had this what Lunar Remastered Collection? Did you ever see this shit on Steam? Remember Lunar Silver Star Story and I always see that on a PlayStation. I think they have it on Steam fifty. I used to fucking love this game. Holy crap. I used to love it, and I always borrowed it from a kid I knew, and he always wanted it back. Now those Jesse, Yeah, and all these things these things are probably worth like five hundred dollars now if you have the original disc. Really yeah, like they were super rare. But what I love that game. That was such a sick game. Anyway, the game that popped up on my feed is a cozy game called the hell is it called Star sand Island Stars there it is. I put on my watch list because I actually enjoyed it. So it's a little cozy game that is not out yet. So it's a demo by seed Sparkle Lab. Now I don't know if they've done anything before. Let's see. No, this seems to be their only game Seed Sparkle Lab. But I played the full demo, like, I played it for three hours yesterday. I was like, huh, I just played this game for three hours. But it's kind of like a It's definitely got that old school Harvest Moon feel, but it's mixed with It's mixed with all the good games, you know what I mean. It has stuff from Stardew Valley in there, it has stuff from Animal Crossing, it has stuff from from Harvest Moon. Like I said, you can go to the remember and start a value. You go to the mines and you can kind of fight and mine, and that's where you kind of get all your ore and all that stuff. It has that, but it's three D. It's a three D three D world anime style. The art style is pretty cool. It's just like a standard anime. There's a lot of characters that seemingly. You can romance or whatever. You can ride a skateboard around the island and you do a kickflip every time you all eat. Yeah, and I was just riding my board around. You can get rollerblades, you can eventually get motorcycles or scooters, and if you speck into ranching, you could ride your horse. So that's what's interesting about this game is the speck that you take. You don't have to do farming, you know what I mean, Like you don't have to raise crop animals if you don't want to. You don't have to do farming. You can just do crafting. You can be a builder and then you can kind of speck into just building and you can just kind of choose where you want to take your character with that. Like you won't get access to the horse unless you speck into kind of ranching, and then you won't get the horse to ride around if you don't expect into ranching. You can spec into fishing, like fishing as a whole spectree. Ranching, so you're just fishermen. Get out. Yeah, you can get a boat, you can get a house boat and you go out on the water and that's where you like to live and shit. Yes, it's it seems to be pretty in depth, and from what I saw, the developers like it asks you to fill out the survey after and everything, so they seem to want to they seem to care. They have this full roadmap plan for this game, and there's going to be multiplayer. It's going to be like what's the game the switching Crossing, Animal Crossing. You can go to your your friend's island and you can hang out with them. But it's going to launch into early access, it says Q one twenty twenty six. But super cool, super cool game. I was crafting Q one, it says Q one, and they said they they announced that it's going to launch into early access, which I guess people didn't really expect. They kind of expected it just to come out, but I think they're taking their time for the console version, so like the Steam is just gonna get it before the consoles, and then they're calling it early access. They want to kind of hone in on the single player first, I guess, and then the multiplayer will come out with the console launch when it fully releases. But yeah, Star Sand Island. Couple of couple of cool A couple of hot dudes there, couple of hot chicks you can you can romance. I had. I have made my guy this cool like island dude, like no shirt underneath a Hawaiian shirt. Opened up, you know what I mean, open up, got the chest, got the chest showing, got the little clam digger pants up. Very cool. I like the skateboarding too. I just bomb around town on the skateboard and then you can do it with rollerblades if you want, and then you can apparently upgrade your skateboard and tweak it and mought it. What the hell, I haven't even I didn't even meet all the people. I didn't even meet all the people yet. And there was already five girls that you could romance that I met, and there was like fifty more or there was like sorry, like ten or eleven more social slots that I didn't even unlock yet. So there's a lot of people in the game. I assume half of those were the boys that I just didn't meet, but I don't know if there's more of the girls. So, but there was five of them that I met. In like a Harvest Moon game. That seems like a lot. No. Five is that usually Harvest Moon? Like what was Back to Nature? Four? Maybe four? But one of the girls is like the motorcycle gearhead. I'm like, okay, cool, cool. I went to I built her a machine for grinding gears or something like that. There was a girl who runs the furniture store. You got the crafting girl who runs the she's like the the mentor for if you want to go under the crafting spec. Ok. Then there's the there's another girl who kind of you you're introduced to at the very beginning, who kind of shows you your farm. Yeah. I like it. I think I put on a wish list. I'm interested. I'm interested in it because I haven't played a cozy game in a while, and this one seemed pretty good. See, you got to release cozy games near Christmas time. Yeah, it be a good Christmas cozy game. Because then you just play it for a couple of months. January February that's the cozy time. Yeah. And it's got the seasons. It's got all that, so I'm interested to see like where the seasons go. It had to events and stuff that it like kind of like Harvest Moon. You know, there's like a well it's the Star Festival whatever on the third of the summer at nine o'clock on the beach, and so I went there. I actually couldn't figure out how to activate it. Maybe because of the demo maybe maybe, yeah, I don't know. You can also build out. I think they want to really kind of focus on building out your home, and you can fully like custom build your whole property, like I'm seeing the video here is showing like people building these like like this castle, like this Japanese style, not a castle, but like it's got walls all around that are kind of old Japanese style. You make a garden inside like it's fully it seems like it's going to be fully customizable, like it looks really cool. Yeah. Yeah, and inside your house you can put whatever you want anywhere you grow old. I don't know, I don't know, but I did accidentally delete my house at the very beginning, which I was like, well that's not good. How am I supposed to sleep? How am I supposed to go to sleep now? And no, I didn't load. I built just a bed and I just put it on the ground and I was able to sleep in it. But then the next day, like at when I woke up, my house was there back again because I got a piece of mail and I guess my mailbox is attached to the house, so they had to respawn the whole house for me to check my mail. You know, it was I bet you. They have a lot of people deleting their house. So there's just like what did what did the male say, here's your house back? No? No, it was like from someone. It was like an event. It was just a male that I received from one of the villagers or whatever. There's a little cute little animals too. It's that you can catch and you can keep on your thing. It's kind of like a Pokemon, kind of nice element to it. You catch little animals, breed them. Ah maybe I don't know. I don't know. Petting zoo, petting zoo, whatever, little rabbits. There's pandas little pandas I had to go meet. I had to build them a little street light for the little uh for their little enclosure. But yeah, I liked it. I liked it cool. Other than that, I haven't think I've played anything. I'm looking for a new single player game, looking for a new single player game. I think. I don't think I'm playing anything else. No, I'm not made it to legend in bizarre yet again? Fourth time? Does that? Are you the only one playing that? Because it seems to be pretty easy. No, we'll try it then, buddy, see you do it. No, I can't see you do it. I don't know. There is a lot of people, uh, not a lot of people playing, but I don't actually know because when you make the legend, it says your rank whatever. Right, Like I was ranked like six thousand legend, Okay, so it means there's six thousand people that are legend. How many people are playing? Whenever they launched the game, when was that November twenty twenty four or something like that, there was like I think eighty thousand people playing in November on Steam. I don't think a lot of people adopted Steam, so we can't really tell, can't really check. There's probably barely any people playing on Steam because they made you buy it again, right, so, yeah, I don't know. I've got a single player game for you. It's called night Shift on Steam. Night Shift looks really good. Oh what's this sexercize club? Oh my, oh my god? Oh, no night Shift? What's night shift? Night Shift? Two bucks? Feeling Hungry? That's not the one night Shift Oh hasn't come on yet. Actually this pizza game, no night Shift. Night Shift is a choice driven adult visual novel that focuses on the urban experiences. Free to play, dude, I can't. There's two different There's a game called night Shift that's just looks like a Minecraft never mind night space Shift. Yeah. Oh, there's like multiple games called this. Is this the one with the chicks with the big asses? Oh my god? Oh my good lord? How is this? Why are there so many games called night Shift? How is this game allowed to be on Steam? Man? That's funny. I might have to try it big asses. Now my recommend is going to be porno games. Here's a game for you, actually, though, the other game called night Shift. Feeling Hungry Our Pizza will make you never hungry again. Applied today for the prestigious night Shift at a beloved twenty four to seven pizza parlor so you're just running a pizza. Parlor the two dollars one. Oh wait, looks like a horror game. Yeah, but you got glowing eyeballs. Yea, the night Shifted this that's a horror game. No. I was thinking about, I don't know, maybe playing Balderskate three again or trying to start it up again, because there's just so much to do in that game that there's no way. I there's no way. Oh yeah, original Sin too. You could do that as the enhanced addition. Yeah, I could do that. I'll look into it. I'm gonna need recommendations here. Maybe some folks can recommend I. Want to go back and do the Witcher's Expansions, which are three expansions. I didn't. Oh yeah, I think I did. I think I did. And apparently, rumor has it there's a new expansion coming out. Yeah, I don't know, an official one, not a mod, an actual from the fucking devs. That's crazy. That's pretty sweet, though. I wonder if they would increase fidelity at all or anything, or is it just straight comm. They've already they've already beefed that up already. It looks even without mods, it looks fun. Oh yeah, they didn't enhanced enhanced in yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, that's right, they already did that. Well that's cool. Yeah, I mean I might go back and play that, Like if that was out right now, I would. I would for sure play it because if I'm looking for something single player to play, that's right up, that's right up the alley. That's right up the alley. Oh, we didn't talk about the draft. The draft that a fantasy draft. Did you watch the highlight? Really? So we went I went on Samuraikig's show code name good Game, and we did our twenty twenty six Fantasy Critic draft. Fantasy Critic, you draft well, you initially draft five games, kind of like a fantasy hockey fantasy football team if no one, if you're not familiar with this, dear listener, Basically, you choose or you draft a game that you think is going to score well, and you get points based on how well it scores eventually when it comes out, and then you have to choose to choose a game to counterpick. So I have to make a counter pick on someone else's game that I don't think is going to do well, and that game that score will minus on mine. So if it does bad, that's good because it takes less points away from me, which is super hard. It's the hardest part about the whole thing is counterpicks. But if you think something's not going to come out, you counterpick it. That person who drafted that game cannot drop it and they are stuck with it if you counterpick it, if you counterpiket. So like last year, the only like I think the reason why Onyx won he counterpicked Judas. Tony picked Judas didn't even come out, and soil Tony was stuck with it. He didn't get any points and and Onyx didn't get any points against him because it didn't come out. So he got a free basically a free game. Right without free ex getting or minusing points, while other people's. Are Yeah, well other people got minus points for their counterpicks. So like it's fucking huge. So my list is I picked Grand Theft, Auto six, took A took a Gamble. Hopefully it comes out this year because that'll be huge. That'd be fucking huge. Like I can't see them continuing to delay it, you know what I mean, They're gonna go crunch overtime, crunch time like, are they gonna push that. They delayed a year, right, a whole year. It was supposed to come out in the fall. No, well no, it's supposed to be fall and then spring and now winter, so year three times. Yeah, but they've delayed a whole year since the fall dight. Right, Okay, so it's been delayed twice. It was supposed to come out this fall. Now it's coming out next fall, next winter or early holiday season, right November. So it's been delayed a full year. Yeah. I thought it was gonna be delayed until PS six came out. I sure hope not. But but if nobody le's. Fall twenty twenty five, window to May twenty twenty six, and then now to November twenty. Twenty six, yeah, so I think. I think, I'm thinking this will be the year. And I hope that pays off because that's a huge, huge, huge one, And I don't think anyone has the balls to counterpike it. They don't have the balls. They don't want to minus fucking twenty five, you know, it's gonna get like a ninety five. Oh it's one hundred. The game's a given hundred. One hundred. That would be better if it's a turd, people will just be like. Dude, one hundred is forty points. Yeah, that's crazy. It's gonna be forty. Points, which is fucking massive because usually you get like fifteen points for a game forty points. So yeah, if anyone counterpick that. The thing is if it doesn't come out and they officially say the release date is not no longer in twenty twenty six, then I can drop it and no one can counterpick it, because you can't counterpick a game that's not coming out that is a set release date not this year. You cannot counterpick it. Oh less somebody counter picks it before they say that, then I'm good, you know what I mean? So I got GT six, What else I'll get? Double O seven replaced replaced Neo three, and no parades for Dead Spies. The spiritual successor to Disco Elysium just supposed to come out this year, So I think I think out of those, like the lowest might be Double seven because the Neo game seemed to score very well. The last one got like an eighty five, the first one got like an eighty eight. Yep, so those will be good. The one I just hit Man three got eighty five, which is really good. So I'm hoping that this is similar around that or better. That would be excellent. I'm going to play it though, I want to play it. I've never I haven't played the hit Man game since like the very. First first one now sweet. Yeah, way back in the day. But it looks cool. And I'm a James Bond fan, so this is supposed to be like an origin story. I guess as he gets his double rating or whatever. It's like a bid auction, have X amount of dollars or something. I have one hundred dollars, so I have to make a bid if I want to pick something up. And then on Thursday nights, those bids go public. It doesn't say who bid, but it says somebody bid on these games. So during that time you can no longer bid on anything but those games that have bids on them already. Between Thursday night and Saturday night, those kind of two days you can't bid on anything except for if you're bidding against someone on the same game, and then it resets on Sunday. So yeah, there was a few bids that just came out today, are making bids. I think somebody bid on Fable somebody tossed a bit on fable, which is we don't know, we don't know if it's coming out, so that could be well. When is that? The twenty second is when the thing comes out? Yeah, there's an Xbox. When's that next week? You guys doing this before that? It's kind of ballsy. Yeah, it was ballsy. It was fun though, it was very fun. A couple of nick stole Karen from me stole Karen Kelv stole that Trials in the Sky whatever chapter because he saw how good the last one did. It got like ninety two or something, which is crazy. They all get that though. The trial games apparently all score pretty good. Yeah, and he he took that, I think with his first pick, and Onyx was not happy because apparently it's that's the first game was like a setup game, and then the whole thing kind of happens in the second one. I didn't know because a lot of the games that I wanted they don't have release dates, so what do I do? You know? So I just kind of winged it. But it was still fun. The edit that he made was really good though. The highlights was good, like sounds, music and chit very funny, very funny. Yeah, I think Rob made some gutsy picks. He made some picks that I probably wouldn't have made, Like he picked like Mario Tennis and Marathon it's gonna get good No, and Mary Tennis doesn't review well though none of the other ones did. Nintendo stock has experienced a significant downturn in Japan, with share prices falling about thirty three percent over the last five months. Wow, thirty three percent? Why is that? Gee? I wonder maybe because they're fucking consoles too expensive. Maybe because their games are too expensive and people can't freaking buy them, don't want to buy them. Record high according to the recent market that Nintendo shared drop from all time high of fourteen thousand, seven or ninety five what's their money yeah in August twenty twenty five to around nine nine hundred and fifty as of January thirteen, twenty twenty. I mean, if it's at an all time high, Okay, it's probably gonna go down, you know what I mean. This downward trend has raised concern among investors, especially given the strong demands surrounding the company's latest console launch, Loo price. Bitches can't price a RAM expensive? Well, they maybe Nintendo saw this RAM shit coming and they price it high, so now they don't have to lower the price or raise their price, now, you know what I mean? Apparently AMD's keynote was all about just AI and they didn't actually mentioned any consumer electronic products. They actually announced the ninety eight fifty x three D outside of the show. They didn't even fucking announce it on the keynote at the show. They announced it out of band, like hello, and they brought some fucking Trump goon on stage to just talk about like how they're gonna break down regulations for AI and all this bullshit, Like, dude, how out of touch could you possibly be? This is a consumer electronics show. Where are your consumer electronics? Let's see them. I don't want to hear about this shit. No one cares about AI, and they certainly don't care about your fucking regulations and shit that they just want to get rid of to try to make more money with AI. They GE's so dumb. It is actually so cringe like it's hard to watch. Yeah, it was, and it was hard to watch. The other fucking loser and his leather is fake leather jacket? And why does he look exactly like her? What? Monster Hunter Wild's players reported that the game actually performed better on Steam when it has more DLCs installed. I read something about this, worried about that improvement spread quickly among the Monster Hunter Wilds community, But the real reason for the game's improvement isn't about whether the game has DLC installed or not. Instead. The problem arises when Monster Hunter Wild's checks for the DLCs. Digital Foundry debunked the notion that more DLCs was speeding up Monster Hunter Wilds. Instead, Digital Foundery discovered that there's an automatic check for DLCs that greatly impacts Wilde's performance. According to the report, when the when the option for DLC content was offered, the game itself checked for DLC thousands upon thousands of times, adding to the CPU load of an already overburdened processor in less than a minute. What I was gonna say, what is it checking all the time? What the fuck? I was like like, as soon as these I was like, well, how would that do? That? Was it checking all the time? And then You're like thousands and thousands of times? I'm like, what the fuck? Capcom They really know how to make a game. They make it. They make a good game. That's really their heart's in the right place. But the Monster Hunter stories, the new game looks pretty interesting. Was great. I played, I said it before I go. I played a lot, but I gave my switch away so I didn't finish it. I played on Switch. Yeah, I head on Switch and it looked and ran fantastic on switch. Hm hmmm, it's so much, isn't right now? I looked it up the other day. The first one was apparently a three DS game from twenty sixteen, which is why I had a little bit of confusion on Steam because the first one said it came out after the second one. But it's because the second one was released on Steam and then they redid the first one and then released it on Steam afterwards. So Monstarter Stories two is fifty five bucks Canadian right now? Does it have anything to do with the first one? I don't know. I just played the second one. I don't think so, because the story seems new when you like start the game. It's just in the world. I think the same thing. The third one is just going to be in the same world, but it won't be connected to anybody. You just go around and catch monsters and fight them. Catch monsters, breed them, fight them. And there's a good story. Yeah. Story is pretty good. Yeah. I liked it a lot. Actually kind of reminds me of Grandia. Mm. Looks like Grandia two. That was fa Grandia two. That was a classic. I love that game. Oh yeah, my last one Larian's main focus for Divinity is to see how far we can push the diversity of companions so intro NPC relationships can feel more natural. And complex intra NPC relationships. Quote. I'd like the companions and other characters to feel like more a natural part of the world. Smith says, I love the I love the BG three companions, but the nature of their story means that they're mostly displaced strangers in a strange land. Some of them are returning home, but they're unfamiliar territory as the game begins. I'd like to see how far we can push the diversity of the companions and their stories even further. The nature of CRPGs is that there are often several stories happening simultaneously, whether there's a smaller quest alongside the main plot, a developing romance, a conflict between party members, or encounters with an antagonist. I'm focusing on mapping the shapes of those stories so that there's pleasing overlap in the narrative patterns. Imagine you're going through the game and your companions are like making out and start banging and yeah, like hey, what are you guys doing over there? And you like walk in on them, but like it can happen like differently, and you're like, what the hell's going on? It's like join them, yeah, yeah, kill them? Oh maybe. I like Divinity Original Sin too. It's supposed to be really good, be really good. M check it and I turned it on. I was like, I can't play another one hundred hour game. I'm good. Yeah. How much does it cost? It was it was on sale not too long ago. Yes, it was, of course on sale. It's fifty bucks, fifty five dollars. Damn it, I missed the sale. It looks just like BALDERSK three.
