But I'm going to ask you, dear listener, if you have not already, head on over to the ratings and review area of your podcast platform and give us a little rating review. If you've enjoyed the show, you know, that's always a big help and we love to see it. Also, if you have not checked out our YouTube channel. If you're listening to this on the podcast and you haven't checked out the YouTube, go check out the YouTube. Elder Trolls gaming. We post a variety of content and streams and shorts, and it's very fun general, good fun overall. Anyway, fellas hawi, yeah, hawaiya, fellas pretty good. I'm getting a lot of red here. I don't know where it's from. Red. It's just your lifelow. This light, that's just your red tipper. Maybe it's just that blaring red light you have on you. That's that's my backlight. I was getting it right here anyhow, guys, as you may know, I am. I am cutting out the weight. Okay, over the last two weeks. Guess how much I weighed now two weeks later, three hundred and twenty Yeah, more than you did before. I've gained weight. I gained one hundred and fifty pounds. I've actually lost eleven pounds since the beginning of the year. Holy shit, I'm at twenty four now twenty four? Now? Wow? What were you having? Do you? Guys? Want to know what I'm doingn't do the math? Well, I was at three thirty five the last time I weighed, which was New Year's I think I'm sorry. Well, you're always going to weigh more after the holidays, yes, exactly, So maybe that's a bit to deceiving. Could have been, could have been, But you just said three thirty five. You weighed three hundred pounds. Imagine the fuck man, that's more than eleven pounds to Actually, no, I think because when I took Finn to the vet, I had to weigh myself and then I had to weigh me holding Finn, and then subtract to get Finn's weight, And that's when that's when I weighed to thirty five. That was before that was Christmas, when we came for Christmas. Actually right, so I probably stuffed my guts for Christmas and New Year's and then lost it until now. So I'm at to twenty four. So this is when, this is when we're going to really push hard. Get that beach body ready. You know what's your goal? Just two hundred. I want to get the two hundred. Can I get the two hundred? Two hundred? Find out next time? Do you guys want to know my secrets? It's a long it's a long journey. You have ahead of you. Twenty pounds is a lot. Twenty five pounds, yes, it's a lot. Then in six months I should be able to do it. If you're diligent. You're not allowed to eat cookies and fucking no, I've dropped the cookies. I haven't had a fucking cookie in two weeks. The Areo Protein shakes them except for the cookies and cream Protein shake, which is made of crust up cookies. You know what you should do? Go with the Vega one. The Vega one. Man. Now, these ones are highly rated. They look good, they're all good. It's all good. It's just still milk based. It's just ship anything. No it's not. It's plant based. Just drinks plant based. That's good. Yeah, no milk based to be shipping my fucking guts out like way protein, but yeah, no, it's that's discus. I find those ones are like really chalky and gross. I don't like that. But I've been wearing my chest strap like for everything I do, my chest heart rate monitor for everything I do. I play video games with it on VR games. I shovel the snow with it, I play with the dogs with it, I run like I walk the dogs with it. And I just just get a fit bit man, like on your watch, because I'd have to buy another watch. I have four watches that they all kind of ish work and I hate wearing watches. I don't like wearing watches, so I just wear the chest chest strap. I hate wearing watches because when I'm sitting at the chest strap. Every time, when I'm sitting at the desk and I'm working and my watches on, I can't rest my wrists on the desk, and shit, yeah, it is a bit annoying. I hate watches. But the more accurate data you can get, the better you can track your calories and what you're putting in and out, which is like right on, it's sweet. So yeah, that's been that's been going on right now, are we gonna circle around? Or should I just get all my banter out of the way now I don't have it. Whatever, how much a banter do you have? Lots? All? Right? Here we go. So my gaming budget has been paying off, get it? Ah, No, it's what I did there. I went over to Neo Banking, opened up a prepaid master card, and I put this podcast, and I put a tiny bit of money on it. Every time I make some money, So every paycheck I put twenty five bucks on there. It's not a lot. And then every time I get a photo job in the studio. I put ten bucks on it, and then that's what I use. I've erased my PayPal and my credit cards from any gaming platform and I've put this prepaid master card on all the platforms. So if I go to pay for a game and it's like, Nope, you don't have enough funds and that's it, I don't buy it, yep, And then I have the app so you can go in and check. And they actually gave me twenty three dollars because I deposited fifty more dollars onto the card, so they gave me twenty twenty three dollars, twenty free, dollars twenty free. But it's been to it. It's going pretty good. Like I double, like I think twice before buying a game now, which is always good. You got to stop, I gotta think like that. Wow, look good for your discipline. Now, welcome to the land of discipline in all aspects of his life. Yeah, yeah, it's coming up nasty night. This here's coming up nasty night. The Year of Discipline, twenty twenty four, The Year of discipline. It like hard year. If I if I want to buy the switch to if it ever, if it comes out this year, it's gonna have to be off my prepaid master card. Yeah right, okay, that's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. So that means I have to really market my photography, get my photography going, and then put the little bits of change from a lot of photography jobs onto the prepaid card. Because I want the game. That's the body. Because I want to game. That's it. That's it, okay, man. And I I modded my controller because I was playing. I was playing some Armored Corps six. I got a little frustrated and I threw my controller down onto the couch like I didn't think it was gonna do anything, so like just tossed it on the count, like eh, I tossed on the count and like bounced a bit. And then when I picked it back up, I had to do the boss fight again. And the left r L one button wasn't clicking. It wasn't doing anything, so it's like broken. I was like, oh no, it was just mush like I would press it. I would press it and it would like pressing the game, but it would continue to press in the game. It was very strange. It was broken. So I had to put the controller down and not use it until I bought a couple of pieces off Amazon, took it apart, fixed it all up. But the thing was my controller was pre modded from another company. So taking this one apart and like getting through all the the extra mods and ribbons that they put in there was a fucking nightmare. It was brutal, but eventually I got it. It's working. I was playing some hell let loose today though, and I don't know if it's the controller, but I couldn't run Like the L three button it clicks and engages, but then he like kind of stops running. I don't know, so I'll have to check that out. But huh but uh yeah, it's all back and ready. It feels good. The clicky face buttons, no more mush, no more mush ps five buttons control ago like when you're playing, it's like points nasty on like the square triangle Yeah square, My square button is so mushy. Did you did you get the pads? Yeah? Pad all face button's clickie so I was like, yeah, they're not. I don't mind that though, I don't like too clickie because I hate the mush. I hate the mush. Yeah, mush sucks. I need a feeling of engagement. And the more I use, Yeah, the more I use the PlayStation controller, the more I don't like it compared to my Xbox controller that I have. But my Starfield, my Starfield controller like does not have mushy face buttons. Though. No, they're not as bad. They're not that mushy, but they're are not as clicky as my previous Xbox controller, which I actually fucking hated because sometimes they were just too springy and they weren't like it was like like they were way too But this is nice. Yeah, this one's nice, like my Razor Xbox controller is. Everything is tactile click. They're all mechanical switches. I haven't used it in a while though. Cool. But yeah, that's all up for my my updates. What do you guys got? You guys got no updates on your life? I feel like I can finally relax a little bit after my big day yesterday. I had that session practicum part of an interview and like, all I've been doing has been preparing for that. And uh so you played some music for some elderly folks, Yeah, some vets. I was in a room full of veteranss like war veterans. Yeah, yeah, because it was in the residence. It was in the vets, not center of the campus. So there's veterinarians. Okay, now far they're far less respectable folk, so veterans. I don't know. It's just a really like people sitting around you and like all like gathered around like a concert. Like they weren't just doing there were they just doing their activities? Well you played, no, no, no, they were all just something. Oh, they're watching Like it was like a you know, it's like a performance a session where because it's for music therapy, that's part. That's the soul part, and soul of the job is music therapy. So you'd go in, you get them to engage. At one point, you'd hand out maybe some percussion instruments for them to kind of do something, plus their sing along. So as long as they're engaged and they're having fun and over ways they can that's part of what the music therapist wants for the the music. You're a therapist, now, doctor, I mean doctor yet part of it doctor doctor yet? Good, doctor doctor Dan. It was good though it was funny because like I looked up at one point and the guy in the front one of the guys in the front row and his wheelchair is just like past rite the fuck out. He's just like like playing my music. It was fun though. They were like smiling, they were laughing, you know. I got some jokes out of them. And to two of the ladies, we're like, we do hope you come back. So I think they had a nice time. I don't know, we'll see. I think they said by next week. Oh no, middle of next week. Cool. Nice. I got nothing my my fucking body hair, it's I jam. I fucked up my thumb last night in hockey. I have no idea how absolutely my thumbnail was bent back, bleeding, and now this morning my thumb I can't fucking move it. I could barely skate last night. My hip was very sore, like I barely moved and I checked my my heart rate after I didn't even break one hundred and sixty beats per minute last night. I was at one hundred and seventy one beats high beats per minute high with a six hundred and twenty three calories burned. Okay, well, and I was barely skating, That's what I'm saying, Like I could barely move because my hip is just I don't know what the hell happened last week when we were playing Asanzo. I think that day I sat. I was just sitting too much. I sat there because I was because I was sick. Like what else am I fucking doing? I'm sitting at the computer all day and all night when we were streaming, I sat, and the next morning, like my fucking hip was killing me. Do you sleep with a pillow between your legs? No? Oh, it's essentially I do know. I have been this week since it's been sore. I have been, but like I always do now. But if I do that night, dude, like I don't know, it fucked up my hip completely and I couldn't. I can't play like hockey is very hard now because I can, I can't get any strength off of like pushing off like I can't. So it was just really that might be the way you sharpened your skates, because I find the way you sharpen your skates. I tried it. It's way too slippery. There's no grip. You can't push yourself off from like nothing. No, not that. Yeah, that's it. Because I was playing with that and I'm like, I can't even get any fucking grip to start striding because you don't know to skate. No, usually you you should have less because you're a heavier, bigger guy, so you should actually be using that that profile. Like I'm at nine to eighth, what's the other one above yours? I use five eights, so five eighths, then there's another one, and then there's half inch and I'm in between now and I find that's perfect. Nine sixteenths. Did he get a nine sixteenth? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yea yeah, yea yeah yeah, and it's really good, Like it's still a bit slippery, but I can grip when I if I push down hard enough and get my my skate into the ice, like I can actually push off and I can start skating from from dead like from still. Well, I'm not when I fucking skate, I'm not like slipping all over the place. That's why I still like grip on the end whenever, whenever we have the play coming up the ice and no one fucking passes to the guy with speed, so I have to stop on the fucking blue line and wait for them to catch up to me, and then I have to start into the zone off the blue line, and that's when I want to be able to really start to get in front of the set of stopping. You gotta curve, you gotta swoop inward or outward. No. I tried to do that and at last night, remember yes, yes, I remember, and I was like, well, I can stay still here coming in with full speed, and the thing I was just like, but there was It wasn't your fault though entirely because there was another guy kind of closing me off. So he pushed me like right, yeah, and then I was like, well, what am I doing? I would have been flying into the zone. I would have been flying into the zone like down the right side, and I had a chance on next time right there, like don't little I would be like coming on left or something. Then I would like kind of veer right and then you could probably go that way. But like I just stood still. After I was like, okay, just fucking go around, and then he fucking hits me. My god, damn. I couldn't get out of the way because there was a guy like squeezing me off. Anyway, that's that, let's get into game time. I got I gotta talk. I got some stuff to talk about here in games why I got lots lots of talk about, lots of happen Okay, let's go all right, game time, babe, We're going to talk about what we've been playing. Guys. I have played a lot of games. I've been playing games. You know what? Since last episode. I have beaten both Alan Wake Remastered, Alan Wake two, both games I have completed. How long did Alan Wake two take? You kind of been that long? I think? Did I have it written down here? Fuck? I forgot to write that down. I think it was like sixteen hours or seventeen hours. The first one, Alan Wake Remastered. I got on Epic store when about them both they were on sale. Epic was having some deal, so I got them both for fifty three bucks. I think, oh yeah, yeah, I really like the first one. It took me like eight hours, eight hours or eight to ten hours. Good story, engaging, mysterious, nice, very funny at times, but not too scary. It's not like a scary game. It was creepy. It would give me, you know, the creepy shivers, you get the shivers, the chills, creepy chills. I would get that, but no jump scares or anything like that. I've it was never really jump scared good. Was kind of glitchy. It was very glitchy this PC remastered version. There was a lot of weird like graphical artifacts and I have no idea why. It was kind of like immersion breaking. I didn't really try to fix it in any way. I just kind of played through it. It wasn't that bad, but it was what it was. But yeah, it was a good, good game. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the first one very It wasn't like it didn't feel dated or anything like that. Oh really not really, no, because I had the graphics like cranked up. It was pretty cool. Like the lighting was cool. You know, you're always hanging around with your flashlight and walking around to a reporter, What the fuck is Alan? Like a like, it's a writer. So it's about the story is about he has writer's block and he goes on kind of a getaway to this shit town in the middle of nowhere, kind of like in the mountains, lake town called Bright Falls on Cauldron Lake, and it turns out that there's this weird kind of it's like haunted almost like the lake is haunted, and and he gets caught up in this in this kind of curse where where the lake is cursed, and there's this entity there that feeds off of artists. So any art that's created there, this entity kind of latches onto it and makes into reality. So so if Alan is going there to write like good luck and the entity like kind of latches onto him, he's everything he writes is going to kind of come true. But the dark Entity will twist it to its own, you know, its own will twisted to its will, and that's how it gets all fucked up. And that's what I like the first game is about. I like that er. Yeah, it's a dark Passenger, So that was really cool. Now, Alan Wake two introduces a new character, Saga Anderson, the FBI agent, And the way this game worked is that you have kind of two storylines to play. You have to play Sagas and then you play Allen's and they kind of intertwine and come together. Now, the visuals in this game are unbelievable. Really, it looks pretty amazing graphics. The environments look very real. Wow. The facial expressions and the face mapping is probably the best I've seen, like maybe the best I've seen like facial but it's kind of funny, like whenever you talk to people, and you start talking to someone, like their faces are really animated and really good, and then whenever you're out of the dialogue, they go completely stoic and like and then they're just like it's talking and they go and then their head will like follow you. And it was very creepy. So that must have been like on purpose that they did that. Do you have to play the first one to play the second one? Everybody's going to be wondering, yet I think yes. Okay, okay, I mean you could argue no, but I I would say yes, because you there's a lot of stuff that you need to know, Like it's a it's a need to know thing. And okay, the way it starts, it's like, oh no, you have to play the or you have to know what happens in the first one. At least you don't have to play it, but like watch a recap or something. But I probably do that because I don't I don't think I could go back and play even a remaster. I want to see new age graphics, new age game play, so I would just do that. Well, you'll certainly see that I can see why they won Best Art Direction. Now just the setting style, like the graphics, the shadows, the way they used shadows. There you go, folks, because we were to remember, why would Alan Wake win Best Art Direction? The way the story is told through the cut scenes and everything. Yeah. I remember one time I had my flashlight out and I'm walking up like a flight of stairs and the railing at the top of the stairs cast a shadow like the railing to that at the top on the landing, you know, railing on the landing, so that where the stairs would turn and go the other way. I'm casting it cast a shadow on the wall in a stairwall that was specifically designed to look like a person, like the shadow of a person, no doubt in my mind that fuck yeah, that's sweet. The shadow it cast had a head and like shoulders. Then I look at the railing and see what is casting this shadow? I'm like, what is this? And I look at it and I'm like, oh, yeah, it does it just but it just looked like a normal like a knob, like a knob and a post. But the shadow looked like a fucking person, like a head and shoulders. And I was like that's fucking sweet. But yeah, the different places the game takes you, the way the cut scenes are all very cool, and it won Best Narrative. The story was good, it did, yeah, but one Best Narrative, Yeah, and it was definitely different. But I think the way that, like I said, they told the story was a big part of why they won Best Narrative, not just the story itself. Very cool cut scenes and other kind of mechanics that they use to tell the story. That's that's that's why they did it. Now. The gameplay was certainly a bit different than the first game. In this one, it was more like a detective kind of game. So you had like a caseboard for Alan and Saga, and the stories kind of mapped out through the caseboard, and that's kind of how you progress the story by finding clues and like profiling people with Saga, because Saga is like a she has like a she's like a seer, so she has kind of powers, so she can like she goes to her mind palace, you know, the mind remember the mind palace and oh yeah, surelock. It was like that, she has a mind place and you go there and that's where the caseboard is and everything and that's where you kind of figure out the story. But I don't want to say any more about that because that would spoil some stuff for Saga. But it was funny like the first one, lots of like humor, but very creepy because of just the you know, the shadows and you're always have your flashlight out. I was never jump scared again though, but once again I did get those creepy chills. There were some cool boss fights too. Now, I did find Alan's gameplay tedious and repetitive at times, almost all of the time actually, but it was also kind of part of the story because he's kind of stuck in these loops and I just hate loops and repetitive like backtracking too. I just hated it. I found myself wondering like if I even wanted to continue playing at points, because like I didn't. I really didn't like Alan's part of the story, but I kind of just powered through it because Saga's gameplay was really good and so I wanted to kind of finish the story also, so I did power through it. I did. But if you are someone who absolutely cannot play like repetitive loops and backtracking, you will not like this game. I'll tell you that right now. Like you'll not like any of Allen's storyline, like any of his gameplay, but overall, glad I finished it. It was worth it, very good. So when you say backtracking, what do you mean? Can you give an example? Like in the level, you have to go back to where you fucking were, like and go get something, bring it, get something over there, or go go investigate something where you already were. And there's the map's really bad. So there's the map. You have to like go to your mind place and like go to the board and look at the map. There's no like map button. It's really annoying. Constantly looking at having to look at the map is annoying if you want to do that. So you're just kind of got lost a bunch like running around like where am I going? Like it was very really annoying. Cool. I almost bought it, but I was like no, I got to get into my into my new ways, and I almost got the thirty percent coupon and you get Alan Wake two for like I think it was like forty bucks. Yeah, that's what I did. I got the first I got the second one for forty In the first one for like ten plus taks. Yeah, so we played Isanzo also with the Oh with Bear Jill's gaming with Bear Bear Bear Jills, Bear Grills Gaming, Bear Gillis Gaming. We call him Gillis, We don't. We don't call them the French way Jill. Yeah, but yeah, that was That was such a fun fucking time. That was epic epic. Yeah, yeah, four hours stream. I don't think i've ever streamed its fun. You did you timestamps on it? Yeah, I've been hacking away. I think I'm almost done. I'm at like three and a half hours of time stamps. So like if people want to go in and check certain spots, jump into a time stamp and watch it for like five ten minutes and you'll get a really good like cut of that. Yeah, I would recommend staying that. If anyone's listening in there on our YouTube, check it out. It's it's it was hilariou. It's still getting plays too, people are still watching it. Yeah, like a four hour stream. Shout out to Gillis and his buddy Empire joined us for that one. It was super fun, super fun, super fun. Yes, it was very fun. That's what ruined my hip. Yeah, oh yeah. After that session, I was dying. I was like, I can't sit here any longer. Fuck, but we're gonna have We're gonna have Bearzil Gaming on to talk about hell Let Loose versus Isanzo in the coming weeks. I think maybe mid sometime next month, I'm hoping, And that's going to be a fun time too, because I want to talk about Isanzo in details, so we're going to get to that. I now, I did purchase Isanzo for twelve dollars, so I do have it. I just have to install it onto the gaming laptop and give it a go. I have Beaten Armored Corps six took me about thirty thirty hours. It wasn't bad. What a fantastic game, Absolutely fantastic. It's challenging, but not like souls like challenging where it's like you're smashing your head against the wall. Like it will have you doing some boss fights over and over like a handful of times. But you like, you need to dial in your mech parts, you know, find their weaknesses, learn their moves, their move set the fights, and once you do that, it's like it's like a dance. You're like you're dancing with your mech with its boosters, and oh my god, the fights are awesome, the best fights I have ever played in any game. Like it's just out of like an anime movie. It's incredible. So, like, once you know the bosses fights and you have to like get around him in a certain way, then you have to use certain boosters to be able to boost side to side more than up and down, you know. So you install these boosters and then you're faster left and right. Then you are up and down and stuff like that. So like you're going around, you're tracking them and just that whole dance with the guns and you and your laser swords. Oh, it's so fucking epic. Guys. It's like AI right now. Yes, a dance of blades and gunfire, find and fury. But that's cool because that's what you'd want from a mech game, especially with that. They nailed it. They fucking nailed it. It's unbelievable. And when you're blasting and flying around like shooting massive galling guns, like you put these massive gathering guns on your mech and it's just like sits. There's like you like the galling guns. Yeah, so they sound like a real like gatling. Yeah, Like it's like a yeah yeah. And it's certain tracking. You have to install os upgrades and like certain tracking chips for certain kinetic weapons, energy weapons, whatever. Right, So you look at your weapon, it's like, oh, it's ideal at this range and it gives you a meter range, but it's like uh, and then it gives you like best at this range. So you have to find your chip or upgrade to give you the best tracking at that distance and you install that. So whenever you do that, and you're just ripping these two galling guns and it's just like shooting into the wind and you're trying to track the guy when he's flying around you. Oh, it's so fucking good. It's so good, so good, I would say, try it. It's challenging, Jonathan. You can definitely play it because you can download it now on your PS five since I bought it on mine and I'm on your PS five, So you can try it. Don't The first boss is like a little bit of a wall, so he'll like teach you, you know, you got to stop think, tweak your mech you know, and get through the first boss. Once you get through the first boss, you'll be able to then adapt to the harder bosses that are later. It's just that first one caught me off guard and I was like, holy shit. But once you get in and you understand the numbers and everything that it's really really cool, really cool. I know numbers, I can do numbers. Yes, it's really cool, very cool. The people is absolutely brutal PvP. The numbers PvP is absolutely brutal, Like it's unbelievably hard. These people are super nerds, like absolute supernerds. And I'm not like, I'm just I just got into my rank like bottom of the barrel ladder, and out of like twenty matches, I've won like four, and everyone's gonna everyone starts using the meta build, right, so like everyone's using the same fucking thing. But well, I keep playing. Yes, I think I'm just gonna pick up this game and play a few missions here and there and and redo missions, and when you beat the game, it's a new game plus, and there's branching storylines, or there's branching story missions where you can choose to fight for the corporations or choose to fight for the resistance and all this stuff, and then doing that little story branch will get you different armor, so you kind of have to play the game again to get different pieces and weapons and stuff like that. Yeah, but very cool. I will continue playing. Excellent game. If anybody was on the on the fence, I said it before, you know, even at eighty bucks. It fantastic, fantastic game. Oh okay, you want to talk about Power World. We need to talk about Powell World because we're gonna go into There was two million downloads on this game. It sold eight was it eight million copies? No, one million copies in eight hours or something. It's on game Pass, isn't it right now? And it's on game Pass. It's the new Steam. It's the new Steam game, like it's the new Big Yeah, it's a top game on Steam right now. We'll be going in depth in an episode. I think we're going to do one with Phil and Nave. I've expressed my interest and invited them. Okay, so that'll probably be next episode. But yeah, if we want to do a little blurb here about what we've been playing, have we been playing her whatever, go ahead. Yeah, I just I mean, it's crazy. I didn't think it would take off like be this popular, Like it's fucking nuts. Those crafting games are huge on Steam though. There's so many of these base building crafting games and they all have their like little niche. Right, So our Survival is exactly like Power World but with dinosaurs. Yeah, exactly, and it's like realistic graphics. Yeah, it's the same, except for your dinosaurs can't help can't help you build stuff. This is that's that's the thing in this one is your little pals can help you build your base, which is awesome. It's like sprites in Harvest Moon. Like sprites in Harvest Moon, That's exactly what it is. But they're like Pokemon. Yeah, you can battle, they help you battle, They help you. Some of them have guns, they help you. Some the craft gather battle. Well. They each have different traits too, So some will be able to do log so they'll be able to chop down trees for you. Some do mining so they'll be able to gather stone and stuff from or or from like deposits. What I like about this is, even if you're playing solo, your pals are your pals, right, So you set them to do their tasks and while you're out adventuring, they're gathering would they're gathering stone. They're gathering your materials. You come back and you've got a good like a good amount of stuff to build something. You don't have to fucking go do it yourself. As well as adventure, you know that I think is really big. Yeah, it's very fun. We have a world on my file, oh yea, which is kind of weird. The multiplayer's a bit weird. So you're you're on Steam, are on game Pass anyway, you have to have a host and that host has to be on all the time for you to be able to get on that world. So you can't get on if that person is not on. So that's kind of annoying, but that is the way we're playing right now. Hope that changes with dedicated servers and that kind of thing on the game Pass version, we'll see they see people they are interested in. So describe a dedicated server for people who don't know what that means. A dedicated server is a client that you can run on your I don't know if you can run it on an Xbox maybe, but you would just keep it on and it would run all the time twenty four to seven. But it's like it's open all the time, so for people to come and go, so like I could have it on my computer in the basement just on running, and people will be able to join and jump in, jump out, jump in, jump out whenever, and the host person, the host player character would not have to be there all the time, So that's what that is. But yeah, but apparently that's only on the Steam version right now, and the Steam and the game Pass version are not cross play, which is just super weird, probably because that whole dedicated server thing, because Xbox players can't even join an educated server, So if I built one or rented one off this uh off these server companies, you can't. Even if your next Boxer a game pass player on PC, you can't join these dedicated servers. So that's kind of stupid as well. I wonder if there's some kind of no I guess there wouldn't be dedicated hosts for a game pat you pay, you pay someone to always be logged in and like running around. Yeah, but then he takes up a spot, right, so it'd only be like three three players. Yeah, but like, similar to Valheim, I built and managed our dedicated server for Valheim, and it was sick, like all our buddies jumped in when they wanted to. They were there for hours played. There was barely any issues other than like whenever the shitty laptop but crash. But doing like hosting a Valheim server wasn't too taxing on resources, which was cool. I read the resources you need for a Power World dedicated and my won't be able to do that one. So I'm probably just gonna keep on the Xbox one until they figured it out, because again I'm watching what I spend, and since we've got it for free, we might as well play it on the gey Bass. Yeah, and I don't suppose there's any way would be able to transfer our no Urt thing because the way Windows game Pass, the way Windows games games for Windows file structure is just idiotic and you can't like access the actual files, like they'll lock you out of the folders, which just it's so fucking stupid. I hate it. So there's no way I'm going to find those files. Yeah, and like be able to transfer it somewhere else, So that sucks, But it was fun. We had we had three people in there, four at one point I think Peq joined, but he just he left almost right away because he had to go. But Yeah, we did a boss dungeon. Very cool boss fight, very cool boss fight. It reminded me a lot like uh, like Pokemon Night when they had like the boss fights with the five player parties where you would fight the big boss. Yeah, that was That's what it reminded me of. It was cool. But you can like get your guys out, you throw them down and they fight for you. And there is a way you can have multiple guys out at once. So that's really cool too, do a ton of damage. We'll talk more about it, I guess in the other episode. Yes, Phil shit, all right, So yes, have been gaming very very small bites, but I have been gaining ground. So I'm almost done. Cyberpunk twenty seventy seven Phantom Liberty. The story's getting intense. Oh yeah, and I had to make a particularly puzzling decision the other night on the job, which I need to sure you guys know which job that was. Yes, I was like, oh fuck, I took my headphones out and I stood up and I'm walking around Mike, Pam. I don't know what to do. This is a balders Gate level decision, Like this is like, this is like playing Balder's Gate it was like this all the fucking time, you know what I mean. Yeah, but as indecisive as I am, I do enjoy this trend of choice that they're putting in these games, uh, in recent games with like different outcomes and consequences. But honestly, that decision the other night I made quite quickly, So I don't know, Yeah, I think, I know you guys are talking when you're in the kind of tram at the no no no no before that, No, there's the mission with the twins. Two big decisions, the mission with the Twins. Yeah, yeah, big decisions that when I made quickly, I actually did not like I thought about it, because they give you the timer right, and I was like, oh yeah, I just I just went with it because of just an instinct that I kind of built throughout playing this game. So character yeah yeah, yeah, So it's pretty easy. But I'm very curious to see how this wraps up, and I ultimately can probably finish that by the end of this weekend sometime, That's what I'm hoping, Maybe Sunday night, whatever. Yeah, you don't have much longer. I'll need a refresher to make some notes though, because I've finished it. A while ago, like I played it last year when it came out. It's just so it's just so good. It's just like this game. I was telling Megan, this game will be like one of those games that I will just play over and over and over and over and over again. And now especially now that it has Phantom Liberty kind of mixed in with it and you can do both and then I can make that other decision and see how that plays out all the replayability. So yes, I'm looking forward to finishing it and then I can and then we can definitely have like you know, because I think we talked potentially about Nick either coming on or whatever to talk about it, and whoever else was some conversation. Nick is is buzzing to talk about it. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, So we'll ready to I'm trying. I'm trying to get it done for you, Nick, and then we can talk about it. But beyond that, that's really it. Over the past week, it's been in Saints, but that's what I've been able to just kind of take little bites out of. But it's been nice because I can enjoy it and I can process it. But I also played a match of Hell let loose, and it was I did horribly because it's been years since I played it. I first played it on PlayStation five. It was it was when I was in the other room and I did great. Then I was really enjoying it. But I also played this shit map. I fucking hate airfield maps. I hate airfield maps because they're sorefield, open and sprawling. There's zero cover, there's maybe a hangar bay, oh thanks, and there's it's all snipers right on the hills in the rocks. Nobody is using close quarters weapons. It's all snipers. So you just like peek your head out and you're done. It was like it was frustrating for some fucking reason. I chose like the assault with like that little side. I know, why did you create your own squad and then you were the first one in the squad? No, I think when you do that, when you do that, you're automatically made the officer who has the SMG the binoculars in the watch. And I was like, how do I become a medic? Like I want my medic because my medic was level whatever, it was a higher level and I was trying to get to my medic and I I didn't. Yeah, I just don't think that that would have helped me anyway, Like the binocular is sure, but then what I got a pistol and an SMG. Yeah, brutal anyway, So I did awfully and but I got I adjusted the controls a little bit to just to get the stick moving because it was really I don't remember if it was really fast or slow to start. I think it was really slow and I needed more from it, so I adjusted that. But I'll play a little bit more at the very least so that we can discuss with Gillis about that and Asanzo. Yeah, but that's pretty much it sit for the last week. Nice. Okay, let's get into our today's topic. Today's topic. It showed off some upcoming games and the developers had some things to say about them. We're just going to go through each There was not many, it wasn't a very long one. Thanks, and we're going to share our thoughts. I want to start off by saying, the way they shot this was really nicely done. The music, the yea, the whole everything was fantastically done. I loved it. And what the whole direct you mean? Yeah, like the camera work just a documentary style, like the way they shot at interviews and whatever. Very feature. Yeah. Oxide Games had a game call. It was called Ara Ara History Untold. This doesn't look half bad. I'll say that I have dabbled in SIEV games and I did enjoy them, but I never really got that deep into them, so I just kind of would play them and yeah, well what made you not get into them? Though? Like for me, it was the half hour turns that everyone had to take right. Yes, it was brutal. It was fucking brutal waiting for someone to do their turn. That's what turned me off the most right game. Yeah, CIV Games. Yeah, this game. This game is sign simultaneous turns. All players actions are done at the same time. It's not turn based, and you don't have to wait twenty minutes for your buddy to figure his shit out. I've never seen that. I think this is new. This is completely new to this that's a genre I'm pretty sure. Yeah, which is I think is going to be awesome because in the real world, you're you're not going to wait for someone turn right, You're gonna be building or going to be So what this make these games shorter? Maybe you can think? Sure, yes, like maybe in a night or something. I think so, well, in the real world it would be both. Technically you would be doing yeah, because to a certain extent, right, yeah, you would react to what your enemy does type thing. Right, Yeah, but this one you're like building and growing and growing and then at the same time, yeah, at the same time you can see what you're see what he's doing. Yeah. Yeah, act you have to go and recon. You have to go and do your thing, right, not like okay, I'm done, my turn next and you sleep for after. So it's more like an RTS than it's like in between Zieve game, right, Yeah, because I'm more of a real time strategy player like Warcraft three, StarCraft two, ahe of Empires team that ship I love, and I think this is a little bit more like that kind of style away from the Sieve. So I think it's I think it's going to be a really cool mix. I'm excited. I think it'll be cool. It's gonna be a real sleek look. I definitely want to try it. If it comes, it's gonna be on game Pass. Like if it's on game Pass so far, oh yeah, all than this, I don't know. I put this one on obviously the game reveals I'll skip because I'm just not I'm still not into the RTS thing, and I think it's I mean this, these are some interesting developments for the genre, but I and I think that frankly, it needs those developments because I think that it's just a dying genre. I thought about that and I started wondering. I'm going to ask you guys a question because I was philosophizing last night about it, and I was like, why were RTS games so big in the past. Was it because they could only fit They only had so much hardware with which to build these little mini worlds, and like, it is easier to kind of develop these kind of games, you know, because it didn't require these super gorgeous, vast kind of landscapes, you know, where you were immersed in. Instead, it was just a lot like the hardware facilitated that type of game, so there were more of them back then, But now people are making these insanely huge, uh ambitious games that you know aren't really RTS. So I don't know. I was just thinking about that, and I feel like it's a kind of a dying genre, and I was like, I'm just not into it anymore. I don't need I don't want to like take control maybe some middle city and then budget and like do responsible things to ensure a smooth fashion. That's so side. But people love that city builders all that kind of stuff. I know, but I'm just saying that's what this is interested anymore. This is a civilization builder. You build your civilization, not from this one. Looks like it's going to span over quite to play God a lot of time, play God. You're not God. You don't know God, you don't know me. But I think I think what they like well doing those strategy games. I think the scope is easier to tell a story from like a larger, like lower kind of perspective, like take StarCraft, uh yeah, StarCraft and AoE two to tell those kind of stories like those history epics. Yeah, it's kind of easier to take it in when you're zoomed out and it and you can like see everything from above, you know, it's kind of easier to take in the story and and and all that kind of stuff. So I think that's why a lot of people like it, But I just want they're just they're just not immersive enough for me. That's my obviously, that's the seat that I occupy on this council because like, I want to kill shit with my own hands via sword or sorcery and level of my character adventure, you know, do whatever I want and that h and that doesn't even apply to fantasy. It can be sci fi whatever. But yeah, the really RTS thing, I just I can't get on board anymore. It would have to be super unique and super cool and original and the way they do it. Like I was a huge fan of Company of Heroes. That's true, because you could zoom down to like ground level and like go over the shoulder and watch them fight on like an eye level. That was so cool. But I haven't really seen that, But then I haven't been playing tons of RTS. So anyway, not just my thoughts, I'll be I'll be vetoing this sid Meier's thing whatever, what's it called. It's not sid Meier, It's are it's called AIV game history. No, it's a CIV it looked like it. It's it's X. It's the people who invented Sieve, isn't it. It's like some of the people, some of the original guys, some of the original guys. But I know they made. These guys made CIV five, is what they said. Oh that's where the confusion line. Okay, yeah, so yeah, I I what I noted. Most of these guys seem like they really like strategy games, like the developers, so I think being big, big fans of the genre, they might actually bring something together that could be that could be special for for those fans of the of that genre. I'll try it. So that's our History Untold coming to PC sometime this fall. Okay, Okay, what's next? Do we want to even talk about the Square Innox visions? I had general notes were not interested. It looks like most other kind of j RPG style games. Yeah, that's all I have. I loved, but I did love the enthusiasm of the developers. Yes, and those Japanese developers and how much they love what they do, and I appreciate that, but I can't do it. Yeah, I had I had very colorful, vibrant and it looked pretty creative. I haven't played a Mana game in thirty years. We haven't said what it is. This is Visions of Mana. I think I said it by Square Enix. Why were they even in this, I don't understand why they were even in an Xbox developer direct But again, yeah, my thoughts. Very colorful, vibrant and creative. It looked like it looks I haven't played a Mana game in thirty years. I don't play it on starting now. I mean it looks like all those other games. Yeah, it looks like every other question. Yeah, I did like Tales Tales Games Tales of. I did like the Koshiishi though, and his sweet leather jacket. That guy was cool. Here's the coolest guy. Cool. But did it interest me? No, Nope, that reminds me. That reminds me of single Iota that Maximum sent in our group chat of. I think it was Final Fantasy eight, and it was like a scene where you're at like some ball or gala and some girl is saying to you, you're the best looking guy here, and it shows a screen close up of like your characters in game face and it's just all pixelated. Okay, what's next? We want to do avowed here? Yeah, let's talk about that. Yes, let's talk about this. Okay, we got avowed by Obsidian games Man, this is going to be for Is this for PC and Xbox everything? I think Windows PC in Xbox series X. I mean, it does look great. I'll definitely give it that. The environments and just yeah, the colors. I honestly, yeah, I see. I wish I could see it more. I was watching it on the TV and ten ADP and it was like, I want clear, I want to see this because I I know that they've been in this in development for how long with this? Has this been like what probably five years or something in a while, but we're finally seeing it now kind of what it's going to look like. And I was like, oh damn. Like the lighting look great, The environments looked awesome. I really like the the the immersive kind of dialogue. And again with that dialogue, right, that kind of the decent voice going on the decisions, decision made decisions. Yeah, that's right, because she was talking about consequences and stuff too. Yeah, and it looks like Oblivion or Skyrim style first person fantasy RPG. I don't know. I just I just other than like the visuals, I just don't really feel it for this, Yeah, something like something that would interest me. I didn't really like the look of the combat. It just just didn't seem looked very ganging. It looked very early bills and it's coming out soon gone. You can and then kill it with your sword and it explodes, Like that's kind of cool. There's cool, like you you can use different combinations to defeat them and stuff. So that was neat dual wands, that was cool, dues. It just doesn't do it for me. I don't know. Yeah, so I do appreciate the look of it though, and the death seem like they're passionate about. They're very very passionate, and I help people enjoy it. But the first person battling the swords looked really nice. The details and everything looked very nice. The spell casting looked really nicely done. It didn't look anything different or difficult. But like, what can you do more than Skyrim has already done in first person? You know what I mean? Like, yes, everything, everyone's always gonna be like, oh, it's like a Skyrim with this Skyrim with that, there's a there's a reason why. It's because Skyro was so fucking good, okay, and what they did in it all those years ago. Yeah, But like it was, I don't know, what they showed us like a super super early build. This doesn't look like it would be ready for a release this year, to be honest. From what they showed, the world kind of looked like I didn't know. I felt it looked kind of empty with it was very curated to what they were showing, you know what I mean, Like Enemy on screen, it was missing. It was I was missing something. To me, there's probably not going to be delayed, but I think when it releases, it's not going to be up to people's expectations and standards from what from what I saw, I don't think this is something I'm going to play unless I see something like it is like mind blowing. When we saw the teaser tray like two years ago, it looked fucking sick. It looked completely different than what they just showed us. I didn't remember, if I can in my minds, I remember it was very dark that the way they're doing the spells and the colors and everything. It looked like a different game. I didn't refresh my brain. But yeah, I'm I'm interested, but it's not something I'm going to lose sleepover. You know, I play it when I just love a good fantasy adventure, that's all. Yeah. I'm hoping it looks and feels more lively than what they showed us when it comes out. I'm hoping, well, I shall play it, and I shall let you know. If you want, I can be the player of that game. I would that would be okay, that would not be hardship for me. Avoweds release window this fall, coming to Windows, PC and Xbox Series X, and we'll launch day one on game Pass. Oh there you go. Excellent. Wow, don't have to spend ninety ninety dollars dollars dollars carrying on. Next, we'll do Senua's Saga two like Ninja Theory. Yes, now this game looks I think this game looks really special. It it looks special. I am one hundred percent. What I have is finally we get to see some actual gameplay and not videos of Senua's fucking face face. Watching this feature made me feel like a fool for not having played hel Blade one. Yes, Yeah, that's exactly what I have to I will definitely play the first one before this one comes out. I've got what yeah two months. Yeah, and it's a quick one too, Okay, cool cool, cool, cool cool, thank god, setting Iceland, very sick, very cool. It looks amazing, It looks unbelievable. This is gonna look unreal on the O led Yeah, just the cinematic journey that it looks like it's gonna be. And I want to take this journey. This bineural thing though they're talking about like binural audio. Bineural doesn't that just mean stereo? Like no, I thought he was saying complete spatial audio. I couldn't really understand the guy. I think I said binural. He was implying, like, yes, three D, but like, what is that different than the normal? A lot of games are in surround sound like, but by neural means having to do with two ears, doesn't it? You google it the definition of b neural audio in cinema in Cinema Universe. This studio seems to know how to craft like it looks like it's being meticulously crafted for like this wonderful cinematic adventure story and it is got me excited for this one. So yeah, I mean I'm excited. I'm just just find it weird about this bin neural. You have to have your headphones like headphones really yeah, well that's just stereo though, like how binural could you possibly get Maybe maybe it means the space that did the greet the degrees in between of left and right, like right, that you're getting that stereo in the headphones, and but you don't. But it is the case. I'm not using headphones. I'm gonna be I would want that on my like weird because didn't he surround sound? Yeah, but they're gonna they're gonna go with people. Gamers don't have home theater surrounds like you. You know, they have the virtual surround, right, So what I'm thinking is it's the technology that does the virtual surround, and they're really getting into that. So it'll probably sound really good in the headphones as well as your home theater, but they're really dialing it in for headphones. I think it's a big deal because it directly ties into the story of Send You as like psychosis, because that's like deeply rooted in your experience as the gamer. So I think that's why they are using it as such a big deal. And I was the first one was kind of like that too. It was like everywhere like yeah, well, he mentioned how it improved played on the surround. But the thing is, what's this come that on just PC and Xbox, Xbox Series X and PC. So I can't play it on my fucking great cool, but you have dbe at most app for your Windows. Yeah, it's just stereo, man, Dobby digital stereo. It's still just stereo. He did mention that in the first game, all they did with the spatial audio was the voices. Everything else was just regular stereo sound. So he's saying everything is spacial three D audio, So the music, the fucking effects, the water dripping, the everything. Cool. This is going to be. But I really want to play that on my fucking system though you can't always get what chuwaha. Well, actually, if I use moon, Moonlight and Sunshine do yes, d h Year, it's around sound, So if it works with that, I could maybe play it us over over the network and I get see. I can see that game being kind of slower paced where you could probably remote play that pretty nicely versus like a shooter. Oh yes, I always enjoy games that have a good surround master like God of War had a good one, and I enjoyed playing that in the basement, I expect nothing less from this, and I'm sure it'll have better directionality than Call of Duty anyway. But yeah, we're we're all going to play this probably, So that's yes, no, no, when's it coming out? March? It's just says May twenty one, May pretty soon. Sometimes Sometimes what I want to finish off with is I'm here for the bleeding edge tech. Okay, and looks like Ninja Theory is pushing the boundaries on the tech in game development. It looks amazing, it's going to sound amazing. It's all. It's going to be a short eight hour experience. It's I'm all for this one here. So I'm gonna play the first one and I'm gonna get ready for the second one. I'm not going to go all in on this one for sure. COO cool, Okay, Next up the PS The Resistance perhaps for us maybe you know, I think we're all jones. I think we're all agreeable here. This stole the fucking show a great circle. I am height this game. I was not expected to get excited. I was like, I could be a joke. I was like, oh, because, like just because the latest movies are just like what before. We were talking about it on the discord and I was like, as long as it doesn't have time travel or fucking aliens, then it should be pretty good. And what did they do? They put it right between the two of the best of the fucking series. Yeah, right, the third movie and uh Last Crusade bomb right in the middle, beautiful, what's the first one? It's between Temple Doom. It's between Temple of Doom and Last Crusade, So it is still in between right and a lot of dark. Yes, it is between the second and third movie and nineties kids. Growing up in the nineties, Indiana Jones was a fucking huge It was a big deal for us. I would say, we are huge fans of the series. It was like formative for us, that sense of adventure and historical mystery. You know, I just love that. I love that so much. I think that's why I like movies like National Treasure and Da Vinci Code, that kind of thing. It just stems from my love of Indiana Jones. I think. So I am really looking forward to this. We might have to call this episode Indiana Jones hype hype, hype hype. I'm hoping for more of like a I really loved Last Crusade, Like that's my favorite one, and I think I think it's because well, yeah, it goes Last Crusade for me and then Lost Ark because it's more religiously tied and like it's got that. I like that. That's cool. Yeah, I really like that stuff. I'm hoping the Great Circle stupid name, by the way, is has to do with that kind of like you know, religious theological. Yes, yes, that's what that's what I'm looking the theologic theological theologian. Man, it's hard to say in this day and age, a lot of people might be a lot of it might not be you know, yeah that's true. But during the whole like myth of the nazis looking for the spear that pierced Christ and all that stuff, right, yeah, yeah, it's like cool though, that's just cool ship and I want that to be in this game. That's what I'm looking forward to. I'm hoping, uh, you know, the story that they're telling looks pretty cool. That God Howard and they're working on the man Yeah. As soon as I saw him in the trailer, I just lit up. And then and then in direct I was like, there is I don't know. Ye't so happy when I see him. I don't know why he loves he loves what he does so much. I just love you, man. I actually laughed when it showed like the FPS view of you just grabbing guys and just beating yeah, the ship man and using like the whip in first person. I think this could be really really fun. Yeah about first person? What do you guys think about that? That's fine. I don't find that at all. I was expecting. Yeah, I was. I wasn't. I wasn't fine with it. When they're like, oh, first person, I saw the first I was like really, I was like, what about I want to see in these outfit I want to see his like silhouette. And then the moment I said that, she's like, don't worry, well, zoom out and show the iconic silhouette and zoom out during these like environmental whatever. It was like perversal. Yeah, I absolutely like that because because it's just the next scenes to yeah, and the cut scenes like it kind of cut scenes, yeah, make it kind of feel like you're watching like one of the old movies. That's what it. Yeah, it felt like Marcus Brody in there. Yeah, you get the Diary Tomacus. He'll disappear. He speaks five languages. You'll never find it. Excuse me? Do you speak English? Does anybody English? Marcus? I love it. I love it. Awesome, Awesome. It looks like it's just getting like traditionally enjoyed and third person you know that was a that's a really cool creative choice for them to make it deliberate so that you know, environmentalmercial traversal like hitting things with your whip and crawling up or crawling up pipes, and then it'll zoom out because you want to see Indy in that jacket and that hat, right, Yeah, yeah, but I am very interested in this space that a game like Uncharted or tomb Raider would typically feel. But we finally that's another game I forgot. Yeah, I forgot to mention Indiana Jones instead of instead of just being held over for something that is the og. That's that's a very good point. I completely forgot, like like Uncharted for is one of my favorite all time. Yeah, and that's another thing. It just stems from Indiana Jones. It's just that's what it is. You know. There's a lot of weight to this. Yeahs is a big deal. This is gonna be This has to be good. It has to be good. It's gonna be a huge disappointment if this is not good. But it looks like they may actually bring a faithful representation of what we grew up loving into a modern game, not like these stupid new movies that they come out with, like the the Latest One, the Latest One. They also made a good point about talking about different facets of the game and how it contributes to the experience. Like they brought up the music featurette. They showed the orchestra in the live room recording and they were like, you know, we have to do John Williams kind of like scores Justice with No. I don't know who they might but but maybe they're just trying to kind of you know, maybe John Williams. Do you know this guy that they've chosen, Daniel Have you listened Aunt of Familiar? I don't recall it right now. Gordie Hobb Okay, no, I don't know him. He might have done Ship We do know though, Yeah, but he did the new Star Wars games. He's like, he's like a Nick says he did the from likes to call him a version. Yea. If he captures the spirit, that's the seat he occupies, right, that's his niche. So so he's he's going to be rolling in it, you know for games that come out like so actually Star Wars and man, imagine, yeah, I guess that's imagine being that guy. It's like, Okay, I'm a cheap version who can be hired. Just make you your music sound like, you know, exact to have to have that that place. That's funny. So they they took care about that. I'm glad. Yeah, when they were showing the director the trailers and everything, the sound I felt just coming out of Like the trailer sounded great, Like the the crunching of the stones and the and the grinding of the stones. The music sounded really good, really good. I think that's gonna be really cool, like first person, very immersive, the rolling of the stones, the placing of objects. I think it's going to be very satisfying. Then the rolling of stones. I think I got a good idea for a thumbnail. It's going to be you know how in uh it was a temple of doom at the beginning where he has to like swap the thing on the pestil with like template. We'll show that, but the thing on the pedestal will be our little logo, our circle logo. Now, yeah, I want to say, Jerk Gustafson love that guy, jerk. Yes, name is Jerky gustav Son. He just seemed the presser that the presenter of the first guy. Yeah, yeah, he from Yeah, he looked very familiar and it looks like the guy from freaking Bordwalk Empire, the cop, the guy who is yeah, the really stoic guy that's in h He plays the drug dealer in in that the Seth Rogan Christmas movie plays and he plays uhman, he plays fucking general. Yeah, yeah that guy. Yeah, he looks just like him. Yeah, the found he Weed. Yeah, seen that movie. I was gonna watch it this year. I forgot. I I'm sorry, but I can only take Seth rogen in like he's minises. I can't fucking stand. Very funny, very very fucking stupid too, but very funny. Yeah, But jerk, Jerk Gustafson, it seems like he's in love with what he's doing here, and I think with him really pushing that, he's very excited and the way he's talking about it, it's coming across like this is I think this is gonna be great. Guys. I think this is going to be And the name of that studio is machine gun machine machine game gun. Cool, yeah, machine gun. Don Howard said he wouldn't have anyone else do it. Yeah, probably other than his buddies. That probably greased his pockets. That's high praise, greasy pockets. Well, that's that. I think that's that's just going to be the best, the best thing to look forward to for me. Anyway, I didn't even have this on my radar when we were doing like games Nay from Gaming Together mentioned He's like, oh, they'll probably do a thing on Indiana Jones. I was like, oh yeah, Ca, and then bam, it was like the better one out of all of them in the show. It was pretty sick nice. This one's coming out sometime in twenty twenty four on Windows, PC and Xbox Series X. There's still no solid date, so they're probably get a series X like for like sending you a saga or send you a sacrifice. You only have the bones you have the Xbox One. I think it's time to check that in the fucking trash. Oh you got a one X, don't you? I have one X. But these games aren't made for Xbox One. Oh, they are for series So it is coming out for S, it says X pipe S right, and hell Blade as well. Yes, X and S. And I don't think Microsoft is ever going to leave the series S in the dust. No, they wouldn't do that. They can't Microsoft Studios can't do that. No, the third party guys, they'll do it, right. I hope they do all right. Well, three out of five games, I'm anticipating that ain't bad. Three out of five a bad? So overall, what would you give a score to the Direct? Three out of five? Yeah, I don't know, no, maybe a little higher because of the production was pretty cool, Like the the production was very well done. I'd say seven, seven and a half, seven out of five, seven and out of seven and a half out of ten, seven and a half out of ten for NAST for the Direct, Okay, that's pretty good. I would agree, I would agree dand Dolf. Yeah, yeah, I would have to say that three out of five games works out to about seven ish seven six three out of five is mathematically six out of ten. Well, then I'm gonna have to give it a six. That was okay, I I do you know, I always appreciate good production too, and you know them kind of obviously reading from all these scripts. You can just see their eyes doing this and we cannot wait for you to play this game. Yeah yeah, I well, what do you I mean, they have so much to talk about they have What about the one guy who was like walked someone walked in the back and he's like, oh, hey, Dan, and it was it was obviously that was not scripted and he's like, we started in his basement. Okay. No for for final remarks, I have the direct wasn't groundbreaking. There was no like crazy shit drops. I don't think a lot of people were expecting any kind of crazy shadow drop. No, like last time, I think it was they weren't expecting it. Yeah, but I think it was nice and it was nice to see some of these games finally get more light, like a Vowed, even though a Vowed doesn't look like what they originally showed me or it kind of looks very early still. But other than that, like Indiana Jones was fucking lit like that. That's hype train for me right now. Send you His sacrifice looks dope as hell, and everything's on Game Pass, so yeah, I'd say pretty freaking good on this direct. Agreed, all right, So that's it, guys.
