[00:03:34] don't use our game for unauthorized purposes, just like a random post. But I guess it was because apparently there's this thing called Overwatch Kebukuta, which is a self proclaimed Overwatch hostess club. Okay. Now, do you know what a hostess club is? No. If you're not familiar with

[00:03:55] a hostess club, they became popular in Japan in the 80s and 90s and they're still, I guess, in they're still there and very popular. But it's whether you're a man or woman,

[00:04:08] you can go to one of these clubs. It's like a nice club and a bar and you sit there and you pay for a man or a woman to sit and you buy them drinks and just to talk with you and

[00:04:19] they'll flatter you and flirt with you and nothing more. Okay. And you paid the bill in the new leave after. So it's just like if you've ever seen the show, Tokyo Vice on HBO,

[00:04:30] it's a great show. One of the main characters is young woman from the states who works in one of these clubs in Tokyo. Anyway, so this Overwatch Kebukuta club, we're offering services related to Overwatch too and these included playing Flirty multiplayer, falling asleep together in voice

[00:12:40] like, I'm so sick of it. You guys talk about this shit. We're playing Elder Ring. I don't know if you want to take this one because you you're definitely a little bit further than I am actually. I

[00:12:50] think you beat the DLC. So I'm I'm free from the shackles of it. Yes, I beat it last night. So today and I'm like, I'm done. You beat it last night? No, I beat it like a week or so ago. Oh, okay. Yeah. So I

[00:13:02] like beat it. I looked around like I kind of want to go back and like go just to places that I missed and like get the weapons and stuff like that, but I'm like, tickle break. No, I think I'm good.

[00:13:13] Yeah, I'm like I'm good. Exactly. So like when I beat it, I beat it and I was like, finally, and I did some, it's probably considered a cheese now because it was pretty easy to beat the final boss.

[00:13:28] Like I just had a shield like the like the crazy of shield you can get in the game and I just poked them from behind this shield. Yep. Yeah. It was like, it goes exactly what I mean. And then

[00:13:37] bleed damage would take like half his life away and it took me like so. She did. To get to the deal. Yes. Wow. How can you cheat to get to the deal? Yeah. How could you do? Oh,

[00:13:50] did you change what's his name? No, because what happened was I had beat, I had beaten it on PS5, right? And then I bought it on PC and I was like, oh, I don't want to spend another 90 hours just

[00:14:01] to get to the deal. See like entry zone, right? So I was like, I modded it to do like, um, it's called the easy mode. I guess you could say, where give me 25% damage like overalls like a buff like a passive

[00:14:19] buff and then it negated 25 damage that anybody would do to me. So it's like a, it was like an offensive buff in a defensive buff like by 25%. So just chunking people. So yeah, I was just rolling through

[00:14:33] it still took me like 30 40 hours to get to the DLC area. Yeah, like I was still I was still dying at some bosses because some of them were just that strong. But then once I got to the DLC,

[00:14:46] I went, I backed up my save just in case because if you go online with any kind of mods, they'll ban you and I was scared I was going to lose my save somehow so I like backed it up,

[00:14:56] cleaned all my mods, deleted all the folders, reinstalled all the other ring and then started the DLC fresh at like level. I think it was 115, I think. When I started and I just get and

[00:15:10] clobbered get one shot by everything. I was like, oh, fuck. You're seeing you are. Yeah, but then you get your C legs and you start getting those uh, your trees, your your your your

[00:15:24] tree buffs and all that soul legs. This could do it's good. This could do. This could do. So legs under you. But yeah, I don't know about my experience with what are what do you guys

[00:15:34] think about it? Like what was it good addition to the to the base game? Like was it was it changed enough for you guys were like, oh yeah, or we like all this is the same kind of shit

[00:15:46] I'm just going to plow through this. Like what was the biggest thing? Like just a difficulty? What was the biggest thing that was like for me? I felt like I was right back at home. Like I finished

[00:15:57] the main game and then when I got back into the DLC, I felt like, okay, this is just an continuation of what we just did and it felt good to be there. It took me a while to get you

[00:16:08] everything again, because I was trying to like just like one shivery body thinking that I would just super overpowered. But you get a real like it humbles you real quick. So it took me a little bit,

[00:16:21] but once I started getting the hang of everything again, it just felt like I was right at home. Everything about it. I mean, the atmosphere, I mean, I think Nate, you nailed it when you said

[00:16:30] how just how beautiful and gorgeous the arch south this game is. It somehow it like one upsteer original game, right? And it's just gorgeous, gorgeous game. But everything just felt great man. Like the weapons felt great, a lot of good variety of weapons that you can choose from

[00:16:47] which is great. The whole schedule, schedule, schedule, schedule, schedule, kind of leveling up system. I love. I thought I was actually really good and better than collecting like ruins. You know? Yeah. Oh, that was pretty cool. Overall man, I mean, I loved love the DLC.

[00:17:04] I'm still playing it. I'm just a mathifying boss. Try to be cool. I don't have like the shield or anything like that so I'm trying to just like raw dog and right now but it's not working. Like going back

[00:17:15] because I got the thumbprint shield, the tombstone shield. Is that when you use rub? Use the black night. Oh, great shield. So this is there's just a matter of what shield you use.

[00:17:26] Oh, because one as you have like, you know, a shield and some type of like, okay, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know Rob, you probably have more information about that than I do. Yeah,

[00:17:34] use a poker of some sort. I forget the name of it. I was looking at a, it was like, something and then I just like buffed up that shield attached the poker of the bleed and Scarlet Raught. And then I literally

[00:17:46] was just keeping an eye on my stamina bar the entire time and that's pretty much it. Like that's that's a boss battle. But if you don't do that, have fun killing. Yeah, I'm already really good. This is not a face and

[00:17:57] splash. It's absolutely bullshit. Yeah. It's absolutely bullshit. Yeah. Absolutely bullshit. Like Nate. Yeah. Did you know that there's a move that this person has that instantly killed you? Did you know that? Yeah, on the second side from the other moves.

[00:18:14] Is it where he brings up all the rays of light? No, no. So he grabs you. Oh, yes. Yeah. That's that's a two shot. So he'll grab you once and then he grabs you again. You're dead.

[00:18:25] Oh, you don't think I've dealt with that? Yeah, I've dealt. Yeah. He's gone. Yeah, he's pretty much done everything. You know, honestly at this point. If you hugged you twice your dead. Yeah. Yeah. Like don't get hugged. If you whispers in your ear twice, those sweet

[00:19:03] how like you were kind of yeah, that was cool. Right. They don't know how to end these games in my name. No. Yeah. Like I went back for my vanilla playthrough. It was the worst ending. I was just like me sitting in a chair

[00:19:20] and that was it. Right. That was the end of my game. Like the original game. I don't know what the fight was like what kind of ending is that? Like I just take. I guess I just took the throne as

[00:19:28] Elden Lord and I sat in the throne and that was it. So then I went back when I was doing my second playthrough. I was like oh I'm going to get the rania, the the Ronnie ending, the witch there. Yeah. And that was

[00:19:39] way cooler. And it lasted like two more minutes. You know what I mean? Like but still it was pretty anti climactic. My problem with this, the soul's born game is that that they give you crumb like

[00:19:55] little combos. Right. But yeah and it's really cool. Like you want to know more of like the story. If you keep going on. Yeah. You want to actually know like what is going on? Why is this world here?

[00:20:06] Who was who? And like but they never give you enough. It's always just like you go here. It's all there though. You just have to like stumble across scrolls on tables and read the fucking scroll

[00:20:19] or read the item description it'll have like a blurb right? And then you have to piece it all together in your brain. Like who the fuck does that? You know who does that? A bunch of youtubers do that for

[00:20:28] yeah and hence why we get right YouTube and just like you know Elden Ring storyline so far. I don't think I don't think there's any other game or like genre of game that has created careers for

[00:20:40] youtubers. You know what I mean? Destiny. Destiny. Yeah. Yeah. That's how you do it. Yeah. But like there's so many Elden Ring lore guys like doing like two hour videos of like the dragon

[00:20:51] lore and I watched the whole fucking two hour thing. I was like that is incredible. Okay but where are they getting this lore? That's what I mean. I'm like how are they getting these these these

[00:20:59] these these these these these these yeah they'll go out and they'll find things in the game that felt like like yeah. Like that like in like that guy who read all of the books and skyrim

[00:21:10] yeah exactly yeah oh my god there's like that they'll do it right so he'll go books in the ring and skyrim I said yeah but is there's like an Elden Ring that you can pick up

[00:21:22] and like a leader anything like that. Yes yes yes that's where you have to get the lore yeah yeah where do you get the books there's no books and there's cookbooks there's every like

[00:21:31] cookbooks all on every item you pick up there's a little blurb of lore on every fucking item you pick okay it's on the item. It's not actual books and you know but there are like items you go to a

[00:21:42] desk and you can like read a page on the desk or you get an envelope that you find out in the wild like in theird tree you'll see there was envelopes everywhere I was finding all these

[00:21:52] like letters right but like these guys go and they piece it all together and then they make up like theories of how they believe like these two characters like nope no each other or something

[00:22:03] like that they're like the stuff that they've piece together that is in the game is just the lore is just incredible and that's where the George R. Martin comes in right so he created

[00:22:13] the original like story lore and then what's the name Miyazaki yeah so he just took that story and annihilated it and and shattered it into like a million pieces and then made a game so the game

[00:22:28] takes place after all these millions of pieces of just like exploded into the world and you have to gather around right but that's that's what's so cool is you could keep going back and learning new

[00:22:39] shit all the time with every new playthrough and that's what just keeps you kind of like a immersed in the adventuring in that game yeah which is pretty crazy I know we talked a little bit

[00:22:51] about this on our discord but what do you guys feel about having the Elden Ring lore like adapted to like a show where movie like exactly you're into oh yeah I think that would be

[00:23:03] amazing if they can do it so the show or movie if they have a massive budget like a game of the world i like a game of the world's budget i would watch yeah oh man

[00:26:24] flash across this cool picture of like this cool anime like picture of all of them and and it'll do like this mega attack which is pretty cool so yeah that just like i basically in every battle i

[00:26:34] you just wanted to see that scene where it like flashes and the music i'm like yeah and then it does this mass amount of damage but yeah that's pretty much it and then i've been playing lots of

[00:26:45] apex actually on ps5 ps5 nice not on pc honing on my roller skills any new updates on apex as far as i mean i will talk a little bit of apex soon but as far as like any cool maps or anything

[00:27:00] like that any cool updates they are they put a solo's mode in oh yeah i played that time i hate it i don't play it then they put a quad's mode in quad's which is quad's okay yeah quad's this is

[00:27:16] all like temporary to a solid limited time so yeah i actually like duose before because it's not like there's not too many people you don't have to rely on too many people like when you're playing

[00:27:30] trios and like i'm solo-killing and rank do you have to rely on two other idiots yeah rather than playing duose is just one other guy and i can take two guys like i can one be to

[00:27:42] usually not really a problem but like in trios if you're by yourself it's just you can't do it but yeah but it's uh they say the player base is the lowest it's been since launch oh

[00:28:24] and then they sell the account so they cheat to get the full exchange damage badge the 20 kill badge and then they just sell the account so like spying that shit you're like yeah i'm so good 12 year olds yeah yeah there's a bruh man people that's terrible game

[00:28:41] but uh i am still enjoying it but you know why this because i think it's because i started playing a new character i started maintaining a new character this season so it's all kind of fresh

[00:32:10] on packs because i'm not gonna be able to buy the next battle pass with those coins anymore so i might as well spend them so i bought some packs and in those packs i got

[00:32:21] heirloom shards now heirloom shards are a one in five hundred chance to get in a pack and thanks to EA and there new stupid battle pass i got my second set of heirloom shards

[00:32:35] so heirloom shards for those who don't know are a currency in the game to buy the rarest of the cosmetic stuff in the game so like i said it's a one your guaranteed one

[00:32:46] in five hundred packs so if you've gone four hundred and ninety nine packs without getting one on your five hundred you will get one yeah so i have this is my second one now in four years so

[00:32:59] yeah it's pretty rare but uh but yeah they give you like the uh reactive skins which are skin so we can make challenges you do skins that uh like if you get more kills the skin will change

[00:33:11] it'll like upgrade upgrade to the match like when you run around no permanently like so if you have the utmost upgraded level it'll look a certain way for oh yeah so uh or you get um the

[00:33:27] melee weapon in game that you're character will display and play with when your guns are holstered so nice you can kind of see the anyway i got the one for the new guy that i've been playing

[00:33:37] crypto i got his heirloom sort and it is very cool it is that that game it just ooze a style like it looks so cool every single time man i'm like i wish we were just good at that game right

[00:36:53] like little black holes and then you can enter these little black holes and it's kind of like scattered all all over the city um and inside these black holes are distorted dimensions where mysterious monsters called the ethereal room and you know corrupt things so the player

[00:37:17] takes on a rule of what's called a proxy a special professional who guides people in exploring these black holes these hollows so it's like very similar to like the matrix like when you plug into the matrix yeah and you go into the matrix and you do submissions

[00:37:32] you're kind of doing that so like you you run a team um so you play as a person you sit in your computer and you touch your computer and you get zoned into these black holes

[00:37:44] and then you then take control over this team of players inside the black hole and the fighting is really cool lots of combos lots of numbers final replaced and it's flash

[00:37:57] and so I'm asking but I don't know how this this is like a gentshin impact right yes yeah yeah okay yeah it's one of those gotcha games where it's like so flashy and very mobile-esque

[00:38:11] but like the fighting is really cool the animations really cool the the combos and you can switch in and out of your party members like to do combos no it's a shooter like a fighting wall

[00:38:21] like a third person or a g or a third person action or a pg so like you some people have swords some people are magic some people are guns right okay um and then you can swap in

[00:38:31] and out of your teammates and do combos and some enemies are weak to let's say shock damage so you should have a shock person in your party to swap to when you run into those kind of

[00:38:43] enemies etc fire wind like Pokemon yeah all that kind of shit but like really cool really cool really cool um it's got some like mobile free to play mechanics in there like there's three main currencies right and then there's like other currencies that do other things and currencies

[00:39:05] that currencies that you can craft other currencies with like that's what i mean by mobile craziness like Pokemon unity is like that isn't it yeah and there's like currencies and then there's just i've been playing for like almost 10 hours now and they're still more shit

[00:39:22] they're giving me like i'm so holy fuck like how how how could anybody keep track of all of these events these like where to get these currencies where to get these powerups all this shit like

[00:39:34] this isn't saying to me is it like paid a win like do those currencies give you power and shit to make you better or is it just a cosmetic shit so like there's these so there's a store that you can

[00:39:45] go to in the real world outside the hollows it's like a VR store and you can train your characters in this VR store like this VR training session kind of like the matrix where you train your guys

[00:39:57] like to like in Pokemon when you train yeah yeah yeah yeah so and to go into this VR place you need these batteries for your VR headset okay and you only get x amount of these batteries every 24 hours

[00:40:11] so so you can train up until your batteries are done but then you can't train your guys anymore they can't get any stronger right so then they put that block on you but you can buy these batteries

[00:40:23] with all these different currencies and fill the battery gauge back up and go back in right so there's how you how they get you and all that kind of stuff so is there sorry is there like some

[00:40:36] deep lore or story behind all these just kind of like a game to check this out you want every game to have lore and know there's so much dialogue in this game really like so much

[00:47:55] battle pass rework as they're calling it online and price hike so we're gonna talk about them we're gonna go through the changes of both and kind of talk about it after so we'll start with

[00:48:05] the game the game pass the game pass changes this all from windowscentral.com the first note on it was the Xbox Game Pass for console will be only for new users oh so new users currently on

[00:48:17] Xbox Game Pass for console will be allowed to maintain their subscription as long as they keep it as well as day one games and the hundred of titles in the backlock catalog until it I guess runs out

[00:48:28] so I guess this means if you already have an Xbox account even if you only have a console then your shed a luck you have to get the next one up when yours expire so you have to get like the

[00:48:37] more expensive one because if you're not a new user you can't have the console only subscription. What if what if you have what if your subscription's going to like December 30th let's say can I load up

[00:48:49] before that ends and keep my regular game pass prices right now? Well there's a note here that says beginning on September 12th Microsoft will only allow users to stack Xbox Game Pass

[00:49:04] for console for up to 13 months using good paid cards get it in which you can they will continue to function if you have more than 13 months stacked already you won't be impacted. So you probably

[00:49:17] have until September 12th to stack three years oh yeah that's okay so I don't get on it there's no way to do an annual on game pass right now right like you can't do which is odd right that's

[00:54:05] right and if you only play Call of Duty alone but then if you go up to the the ultimate which is gonna be an extra five bucks a month right you get roughly how much how much

[00:54:17] it's gonna be like a Canadian is gonna be about 300 bucks a year okay that's equal to three full price games new release games so we're gonna have if you're just playing on

[00:54:29] next but if I was just an Xbox gamer and I'm gonna be buying three more than three games a year right I'd say that's pretty good that's very good yeah right this is the thing right it's like I and I was I think that's a lot of things

[00:54:45] they want you to think yeah what do you think that's another way so what's the catch because to me the way I envision it it no matter how much day increase the I mean obviously there's a cap

[00:54:57] but right now the highest price point at the moment it's what 20 or 25 dollars 25 it's going to be 20 25 29 probably 25 Canadian do you think they can brought this up to like 35 dollars at some point

[00:55:15] you're still and it's again I'm not a green to this it's still outrageous in some aspects but like you're still getting the best deal in gaming which is still crazy right like in my wrong
