It was actually on sale for twenty dollars, I think on my launch sale The Bizarre, right, it was twenty bucks because they gave you the character, the new character, and you could get it on Steam by paying Every new character is twenty bucks now, yes, but that's why it was. I was a no brainer because I wanted the new character anyway, So I just bought it for twenty bucks and I got it on Steam and I don't have to use that weird platform. But now we don't really know how many players are playing. I have no idea because you can only tell who's playing on Steve and there's only like like maybe a quarter of the people. You gotta breathe the night raids, So the night raids and like the special modifiers to the certain match make it even worse, Like at night time. It's crazy because you don't trust anybody. I don't know why the when the sun goes down and you're doing the maps at night, you didn't trust fucking anybody. Have I played other extraction shooters. I've played Gray Zone, We've played the Rainbow six one. I played the Call of Duty one for a little bit. It's kind of it was another one I played even close, like we didn't care at all. This is the stupidest worst game I've ever I refunded it right away, Like the bullets didn't even do any damage, they didn't do anything. I guess Hell Divers would be an extraction shooter as well. No, yeah, true, Helldivers Health Divers. I played that. Yeah, I played that. We played some extractions. We're extraction bros. Never I've never played Beard. I've been in the wild extracting. Okay, But you know what, it doesn't matter because our Creators is an extraction shooter for everyone. I think it's it's bridging the gap between the the the mill sim sweats of Tarkov, you know, and like a casual the PvE crowd of of perhaps what you might call it there hell divers, so maybe in between there somewhere, but. So the PC players of our creaders are a lot nicer than the PS five players. Yeah, I forget over how we should find the post. I forget how many how many games he played? It was like on seventy two raids or something. And then his brother plays on PS five. Yeah, like the guy's brother. So yeah, they concluded that the PS five has the U has the most toxic community, then the most backstabbers too, Yeah, most unfriendly players and most backstabbers. So they'll extract with you and then shoot you in. That console gamers, they're all fucking scammers and they're cheatersum scum there scum speaking of which, apparently this is speaking of scum cheaters. Apex legends on console right now. Apparently everyone's using those things. I said, I showed you those devices, this Titan thing, it uses fucking AI. Okay, you you plug it into your computer and then you plug it into your you plug your controller into it, and then you plug it into your console. Okay, like like a y cord screen type study. Yeah, I mean PC players are just nicer, that's all. But yeah, so they get this thing. It's called the Titan I think it's called the Titan AI or something. It's an interface between your computer and the console. It intercepts your. Oh so it's like your signal box in the middle kind of thing. Yeah, it's a box in the middle. It takes your HDMI too. You Hdmi into it because that's the yeah, because it has to see your video and then the controller into it and then everything out to your console. So it aims for you. It finds the people on your fucking screen and uses your controller and aims for you. This is what console guy. This is what everyone in the highest ranks of APEX on console right now is doing. Why why did they? There's scumbags there, just scum. Just do what to like you're not because you're cheating, Like, no. They're not, but they don't care what And this is only on Xbox because apparently this device has been blocked on PS five and Xbox is not doing anything about it. So these guys are just people are apparently buying xboxes just to cheat in APEX legends. Well Microsoft is scum as well, so well hopefully they I don't know if you can. There's this streamer zeus who uh is trying to bring it up, to bring it to the attention of the devs, And I don't know if anything's gonna happen because it's Xbox that controls that on the on the Xbox, like the drive, the signature for the controller and all that stuff. I'm at thirty hours on PC, and I believe I'm at about I don't think it's maybe forty hours on PS five maybe around there. I think it might be the same thirty thirty. Maybe it's funny because like, you don't even spend most of the game in the fucking raids. It's in the menus, so yeah, and inside the game, yeah, and inside the game, it's like it has an actual count of how long you spent top side. I think it was at oh, forty eight hours or something like that out of ninety one. But that was a couple of days ago, so maybe not. But yeah, it does. It does say that. It does show that, all right, So so if you want to get into this, let's do it. I'm going to try to find a way to share my screen. And now I know Steam likes to take hits on their hardware to get it into people's hands, Like the Steam Deck wasn't that much when it came out, And this thing is not going to do four on it all your triple. Leg games, like, I highly doubt it. It's going to rely heavily on your FSR like performance and ultra performance modes. So though I want one, I do want one. Yes, I do want one, really want one? Yes, rob of course Firefox. What else would you use except for when you have to stream on riverside, you have to use fucking Microsoft. Nothing works in Firefox. Nothing works in Firefox. That's the thing. It's not supported enough, or because it's so secure it nothing works on it. I think that's that's true. Or because people want to track you so much and they can't do it in Firefox. Yes, that's correct, that is correct. Yeah, back to the Steam Machine real quick. I want one, depending on the price, so I can get rid of that gaming laptop that's hooked up to my TV. I'd like a nice Steam machine with a with a cover of you know, because it can change the car. I mean, I guess it's true, like because if it doesn't heat up like, that's what was the problem I had. That was the problem that I had with the actual computer that I built. It was just way too hot. So this thing is a little box. It's not as powerful. Obviously, it's a very entry level gaming PC. Right, it's what it is. It's a it's literally has the specs of all the most common hardware on Steam. Yes, yeah, it's literally what it is. Yeah, Rob says, day one purchase room day one. But I want to do that for the games, like the single player games, and I want them graphics to be good, like I don't. We'll get to that, We'll have to cross that bridge when we get there. But best RPG for me it have to be Henry Kingdom Come Deliverance Too. There's just it's just so good. And I had a way better time playing that. I had way more fun playing that. I found though. The world isn't fantastical, you know, it's not a fantasy world. It's just a gritty, medieval shitthle that you just have to like work your way through. And it's so fucking good. Yeah, that's exactly right, so good, that's exactly right. I had, you know, one hundred and twenty hours in this game. Now, what's really good about these two is there combat systems are like out of this world. Both of these games Claire Obscure and Kingdom Come Deliverance too, Claire Obscier stealing most of its ideas from Legend of Dragoon for the battling, which I absolutely love. I always want to go back and play that game just for the battle system. And I'm glad I saw it in like an upgraded version in Clear Obscure. Yes, it's very much like inspired by those old those old like nineties I guess that was late nineties PlayStation RPGs. Like you can see a lot of Final Fantasy eight in this game, a lot of you got Legend of Dragoon turn based kind of old style RPGs, big map, zoom out on the map, run around like it's very uh inspired by those the esthetic. I really liked the aesthetic the whole, like French fantasy. Like would you call this like it would be art direction? What's that gear punk? What's that called steampunk? Was it a steampunk? Was it a steampunk looking steampunk? It's kind of steampunky, isn't it. It's like Renaissance fucking like, yeah, retro punk. I don't know, I don't I'm making a words. Now, going to Kingdom Come Delivers to combat you're gonna be sweating and dying, and you're gonna keep going back. You're gonna be upgrading your swords, sharpening your swords. So that's so it's just kind of Yota also very good animations, like when she's just you know what I mean. So there's kind of two different things I would have ways I would approach this. But to me then for like art design, the art and Ghosts of Yota is excellent. When she puts away her fucking sword, you wipe the blood off it. And it goes into the dang sheath. The lip syncing stunk clare obscure. The lip sinking stunk in Ghosts of Yota too, Yes, but so okay, So it's just which way do you want to approach this? You know what I'm gonna take, No one's gonna get. I'm gonna give it to whatever game gave me the most goosebumps whenever I could tell that they were trying to drive this like creative artistic design. And animation also art direction, you could you could say death straining to those fucking cut scenes were fucking insane too, like the way that he insane insane fight scenes and ship like that was crazy. They were. There were four like crazy ones in death Stranding that you're just like, oh, that was insane. So I don't know, it's tough, I think to be clear, Obscure, it didn't give me as much of an impactment. It wasn't much as impactful as as Yote or death Stranding, And to me, death Stranding was just more impactful than Ghost of Yot So I gotta give it to death Stranting. I gotta give it to death Stranding, like the fight scene those tomorrow fight scenes were absolutely insane. When freaking what's his name Troy Baker comes comes in and in his robot body there, and like those fight scenes were absolutely insane. Like the direction, like the cut scenes were so good and the animations were so good. I think I just have to have to give it. And the art style is cool, the post apocalyptic, it's very cinematic, it's very you know what I mean. And I think I've made my choice too. I'm actually gonna go with Ghost of Yote on this because not one game has made me take so many photos. I've taken them. Lets took a lot in Stranding, Oh I. Did, oh, I did very much. So but Ghosts of Yote just that I think it's that world and just that like beautiful romance, romanticized Japan, Yeah, Japan. That just I couldn't get enough. I could not get enough of that, And I couldn't get enough of grass blowing and like the birds flying and like the sunsets, and it was so fantastic. And I took so many photos and they are some of my favorite in game photos I've ever taken. So I'm gonna I'm gonna go with Ghost of Vite. I just thought it was all right. I thought I was breathaking, I'm going to Death Training. There we go. That'st not active. Okay, okay, here we go. Okay, okay, I'm sorry. Gust of Viote wasn't. No, the narrative in Ghost of Yote was not anything. Yeah, I don't know why it's here. Really, I didn't place on an hill. The narrative that Death Straining two story, if you can follow it was fucking Oh you know what, who was the voice of the bad guy in Death Training too? Troy Baker? Was that Troy Baker? Why the fuck wasn't he listed twice? Yeah? Like he was unbelievable in Death Training? Listed twice, maybe even listed? Yeah, like they didn't even mention he was in another fucking top game. Yeah, like what the hell? Yeah it was Troy Baker, right, what's his name? Troy? Was the bad guy's name? Higgs? Higgs? Yeah, yes, yeah, he was freaking unreal. Yeah, he was so good. I can't even believe I didn't think of that, dude, Like, yeah, that's crazy. I'm not gonna pick k CD two for this one. The story was good, but it wasn't. It wasn't like amazing, you know what I mean, Like I didn't play like I played Kingdom Come to Livers to for the story, but it was kind of there. You know, it'll it'll be between Death Stranding and Claire. I mean yeah, okay, okay, okay, clar Obscure the first chapter and Claire Obscure Expedition th two was some of the it was the best, Like that one chapter was so fucking amazing, and how the end of the first chapter was unbelievable. Yeah, it was good, Yeah, okay. The story was that it was it was heavy. It was like it was not it was not like a happy story. It was it was a good narrative, give weight to to everything you were doing in the in the game, like there was always this impending kind of this impending doom that you knew was always coming. But I remember Chris Chris Siege said something was like does a game have to be sad for to have a very to have a very good story? You know you know what this Siege ever gonna Are you ever gonna finish the games? Seach? Do you finish games? You're like the Nate of Old played a lot of games, didn't finish any didn't finish any So yeah. I'm not gonna go with k CD two here. Death Straining two pushed me right to the end. Though. There was a lot of lulls in de Straining tow and you, and they only gave you your think your feedings during those cut scenes. You know, yeah, but you were probably doing a lot of side stuff maybe, so you do it, You're gonna get those lulls like I was just gonna have in packages for no fucking reason because I wanted to traverse around. Okay, I'm gonna end it here the game. I want to know what happened the most. Next was Claire Obscure thirty three. Yes, yeah, I guess that's true. So I'm gonna go with them. Mmmm okay, we got a Claire Obscure. The Death Straining story is very strange. It's very strange. It is cool, though, there was a good there's a cool twist that I predicted totally. The reason the reason why I didn't choose des Straining because it got a bit unhinged. Yes there's I mean, maybe I should just vote for it. Because there was a dueling guitar battle towards the end. Oh God, like a guitar battle, Like, what the fuck was I playing? Spoiler alert there is a guitar battle. You may not have known that about Death Straining too, But yeah, I guess I'll go with it's between Kingdom Come or Clare obscure. Kingdom Come. The story and Kingdom Come. It was good, but yeah, I mean it wasn't Claib's career was. So it was just new and different. So I think I gotta go with that too. All right, fine, best game a direction? I know I'm going to give this game direction. I mean we have to give it to the man. Yeah, the man himself, the master, the genius. Uh. It was masterful Destraining two on the beach, Like I didn't even have. To split fiction. Oh man, innovation in game direction and design split fiction. Yes, it was quite good. True, like I haven't seen anything. Split fiction did a lot of new stuff that I've never seen before, and it was like wow, wow, so cool man, Like I was, I kept screaming that. But just the way Coojima directed Death Straining two was breathtaking. It was absolute And this includes everything, like this is everything put together right, the art, the music, the cinematography, everything directed together. That's the creative vision, and I think that's what I think death straining to, Yeah, definitely kill It was just it was amazing. It was amazing. Like split fiction, I didn't care about. Like the story wasn't good. I didn't care about playing more like yeah, okay, it's fine, Okay. Pam's like, you want to play split fiction. Yeah, sure, let's do it. But like I'm like, okay, I'm gonna go play more death strainting. I'm gonna go see what's next. And I mean, to be fair, what is this? Uh what's he saying? SF does recycle other game styles. I mean, I don't know. I never played anything like it. I can maybe the first one. I see that one. I can see what it means. But like platforming, it's platforming. It's like getting a partner to do something over here, so you can do something over here. Yeah, it makes. Sense as a co op game, but like there's no guitar battle. There's not even a fucking guitar battle. Or like a K pop dance scene. Yes, there's no k pop dance scenes. I'm not a Kaji Michelle. I am not. I honestly don't don't really like I'm not a huge metal gear fan. I don't really care, but like, these games are awesome. The Death Stranding games are excellent. I played the first one right before playing this one. I think I went right into it right like I had like a couple of weeks before it came out that I finished. It was awesome. I couldn't even believe that it was a six year old game or whatever. It was like, I couldn't believe it. But yeah, I think I gotta go with Death Stranding. We're already we know, we know what we're doing it deathtraining. Too, and here we are. We've come to the end. All right, here we go. We have some of these games just don't belong, you know. Yeah, okay, we stopped ranking games, but we haven't played I think it was the only one, the only one category. We played every game but this one. I almost have played every game. I mean, I played Haiti. I didn't play Donkey Kong because Nintendo's too expensive for me. Now, okay, well let's talk about Donkey Kong first and foremost. I have no idea why it is in this category, Like, no idea. They have to put a Nintendo game here, they have to put. There is a zero reason for Donkey Kong Bonanza to be in this category. It's crazy, Like it's a fine game. I played it for like five hours. I don't even care to go play it more, you know what I mean. It's not it's wasting a spot there. It's yeah, wasting. I would have liked to see Ghost of Yota there over fucking Donkey Kong Bonanza. Yeah, okay, so Ghost of Yota is not here, that's right. Yeah, gotta one hundred percent a better game than Donkey Cong Bananza. You could, Yeah, constructable environment's great. Cool Like I did that and I smashed around and then what okay, I mean, all I'm doing is I'll play it when Pam wants to play it. That's all. Like, I don't care about going and playing it on my own. I don't think it should be here. It's not a game of the Year. I think it's just an inten though. They needed to put a Nintendo game there for the kids. I think that's all it is. It's not gonna win, has zero chance of winning. There are three other games on here, four other games on here at least that probably would be in front of it. I've never played Silk Song, so I don't know Haities two, like it's Hades two a game of the year. It's more of the first one, right, I guess you could say that with this Training too. I don't know. I don't think so. There's not always a Nintendo Game and Game of the Year category nomination when I. Played, when I played Death Straining two, I was on board for this game to be my game, you know, like, I was just like, this is this is a next gin. This is an unbelievable, masterful, masterfully pieced game. Just look at the damn look at the look at the definition. Here. There's one game here. There is one game that fits this definition. Okay, it's true, and there's one now. I played Kingdom Come Deliverance Too for one hundred and twenty hours. I would say it is my favorite game. Okay, now, my favorite game because I had the most fun playing it. I did all the side shit, it was hilarious. I had tons of fun playing it. But in terms of the definition of this right here, this is Death Straining too. This definition right now, yeah, okay, recognizing a game that delivers the absolute best experience across all creative and technical field, that's Death Straining two hands down. There's no, there's not a question. Claire Obscure in terms of this, Claire Obscure is not even close. Like Henry is above Clare Obscure, and it comes to this, Henry is above. Death Straining is above. I mean, maybe not talky kung bonanza, but like, yes, I know you may have thought we would choose that, but I mean it was my I would say it was my favorite game in terms of fun and playing it, but in terms of the experience and the the Death Straining two is the highest quality game I've ever played in my life. It's just the highest quality of games. Everything is sick to perform. Okay, this is just a quality and experience. We also have to talk about this, Okay, So I'm gonna say a few things. Clear, Obscure was great in the first act and then fizzled out for me. Okay. I near the end of the game, I was kind of just pushing myself to get through it. Okay, the first act. They could not top their first act and it and it just went and then at the end it was like blop. Okay, the ending was cool. No spoilers playing it right now. Oh. Expedition thirty three yes, she says she can't dodge or perry. It's very hard, she said, yeah, okay, no spoilers, So maybe you would like South of Midnight. I heard you can completely skip the combat in the game. Another thing about Clear Obscure, The performance on PC was absolute dog shit. Yep. I had to modit to get to be playable at a decent like fidelity. And for it to even look decently. Yeah, that's what I mean. That what I mean, like a graphic fidelity for me to get to that point where I could play it at a reasonable frame rate. Yeah, it looks horrible. It looked awful, awful, And like when if you have to mod a game to get it to look proper, regardless of what hardware you're using. That is not a game of the year. That's not a game of the year, friends. That is not the absolute best experience. Okay, it literally says right there, the absolute best experience. That is not Claire Obscure Expedition thirty three. It is Death Straining two. Yeah. Now, Henry performance was beautiful too, Yes, amazing. It was a great experience. It was a better experience than Claar Obscure exactly. Yep. I'd say, but like Death Straining two was is on another level. It's actually on another level than all of these games. It can't even be touched about the experience and the technical experience and everything about it is just superb. It was so superb. We're talking talking the HDR. The mastering of the HDR was unbelievable, looking insane on the o ed Man. People don't sound. People don't think about that. No they don't. They don't think about that. There's like all Bush game, Bush game clear obscure. But yeah, they don't take into the fact of the the mastering of the HDR, right, the mastering of the sound, like the audio and how it brings to your experience the audio, you know what I mean. Uh, just like this is the little stuff, the animations. Yeah, the animations. Yeah, like everything just and having it all fit together in in one package. It was masterful. This is hands down game of the year. Yeah, I'm gonna give this to Death Straining too as well. Boom there it is, folks. Death Stranding two is the game of the year. The Elder Trolls podcast a game of the Year that it. Man, I thought I was gonna choose. Henry but like after just thinking about how good Death Straining. Two was, after reading the and the description, the description helped, Yes, that's it. It solidified it boom like you can't you can't argue with it. But if you haven't played it, like Expedition thirty three is the best game. I mean, if you played on AMD on PC Expedition thirty three, you probably you might have hated it and not even kept playing. You know what I mean, if you didn't know that you could mod it to make it look decent, like serviceable and passable to keep playing. The fact that Death Straining two looked the way it did on a regular PS five should just on its own win a fuck on award, okay, because I've never seen something like that before. So it was, man, was watching me play during the the weird Was it a dance off? No, it was just a dance When was that it was near the end? Was it a guitar battle? Was before the guitar It was before the guitar battle? Oh, man, there's a dance off. There's a guitar battle. And I was like this just got really weird. But she was like, what the hell are you playing? I was like this is the game of the year. That's what it is. That's what I said. Oh man, but there was folks. There's our our entire download my vote card here. Yeah, it look like download vote card chepping. Oh wow, we gave this straining to quite a bit. Yeah, I think you. Gave him more than I did. Really, I voted for it one, two, three, four, five times. Okay, not a big deal, five times, four, four times. But you know you heard we had the justifications. Yes, I think so it was here. My best RPG is for the best game designed with rich player character customization and progression, including massively multiplayer experiences. They had to put that in there. To put Monster hundred in there, they had to add that of course. Yeah, now, okay, I'd still choose Kingdom Pokemons at a Yeah, I mean there was, although there was a lot of character class customization in Exhibition thirty three. I'm sure there's a ton in Moss Hunter the class, but there isn't in Kingdom Come too though. But what's funny about what's fun about Kingdom Come? They're kind of stupid and like negative effects versus like you'd get a negative effect if you kind of wanted to choose something, you know what I mean. So that kept your gameplay pretty Yeah, Rocky, let's say it challenged you. Yeah, for sure. It's a role playing game. You're playing a role as a fucking peasant boy in the fourteen hundreds or some shit, whatever the hell was. You had to learn to read. What's more role playing than training to learn to read so you can read the books that you find in the game. Like that is hilarious. Alright, cool, Besiege, take it. Easy man, Thanks for showing up.
