Hello everybody, and welcome to another episode of the Elder Trolls gaming podcast. If you are new in joining us, we are three brothers who get together and talk about gaming. We also may talk tech, TV, movies and other nerdy geeky stuff too, And today is a bit of a change mid rotation rotation as you might call it, or a schedule recinc Today we have to change the schedule of episodes to sync to a new bi weekly schedule since Daniel now works every other weekend, so now we've got to go in between those weekends. So today is just a little bit of a treat. It's going to be a quick episode, just talking about games we've been playing. It may it may shock some people that we are actually still full time employees elsewhere and we don't actually, you know, make our living off of this show yet. It may see as much as our success may appear that way, we may be shocking. But yes, episode will be landing on Tuesdays as usual. Nothing will change there, just the days that we record. So now when it pops on Tuesday, it's going to be two weeks from that Tuesday you'll get another Elder Trolls episode. So that's pretty much today, we'll just be chatting about our backlogs, games we've been playing, some news. There won't be a main topic. We're just going to have a hangout sessh, you know, with the trolls and what's going on. All right, two basics. Nature to this fucking Blade song in my head because I have the I saw a clip of from the movie Blade. I think it's from the movie Blade, but it's like there's a clip Joe Rogan whether smelling smelling salts or something on the show and they're like dancing to the Blade music and smelling these salts and I still have never seen, I have never watched. Should watch even worth watching? No, didn't Ryan Gosling played Deadpool in Blade. Ryan Reynolds was in Ryan Reynolds. Yeahan Reynolds is in it. It's pretty funny. Yeah, but Ryan Reynolds didn't he play Like, yeah, I think that Wade Wade what's the name before he was Deadpool? Yeah, it was way Yeah, that's pretty cool. And they just kept they just kept hiring him for Deadpool rules. But yeah, so what's going on? Boys, Let's go on check this out. Check this out, check this out. I don't know if I showed you guys this. But I gave some speakers to our buddy Steve, the old speakers that I have to subfer in some bookshelves so he could fill out his surround sound, and he tossed me this little piece of history. Okay, this is a piece of history, oh our Steve, Steve, do you know what this is? A wooly mammoth tusk is a sh from a wooly mammoth tusk found in Alaska. And he bought it from the guy who was on Joe Rogan, I forget his name. He found a bunch of like fossils and remains on his property in Alaska, and he started excavating and he found all this shit. He was on Joe Rogan about it, but he set up a sight I guess to sell it. And apparently they're not even like supposed to be there. I don't know. I don't like it based on based on our history and scientific analysis and ship from the past next amount of years, like they shouldn't have been there around that time or that that region or something like that. But it's Alaska. I didn't wait, a frozen tundra. Wouldn't that make sense wasn't it. But he had an extra piece and he gave it to me. So this is a at least twelve thousand years old very cool. You're holding it up and your finger grease just disindegrees like this, I drop it in in a glass. It's well is at least that's cool. It's very cool because not a lot of people get to touch that ship with their own hands. You know, you'd think the government would be all over that or some sort of research team that's like, okay, you got to go move so we can do this and then you can. But like, I wonder because if it's his property, what rights he has to that stuff? Like he's it's all his Why wouldn't it be? Because I just like I feel like if they found that out or whatever, and he was selling all that ship online to like and then because like museums would want a piece of that action surely, and yeah, but they can't. They can't come onto his property. It's his property the First Amendment. Right, he's got a gun now. John Reeves is the guy's name. He's an Alaskan gold miner. But I guess he just found this stuff on it for helping him out. Well, he just it wasn't. Yeah, like he just tossed it in because he's like, I'll trade you this because I offered it to it. I don't want to. But he got an extra piece because his the guy said, well, these pieces are kind of small, so we'll toss in some extra. So he had an extra piece just dust what he bought. I should pretty much like to help me. So I'm guessing he has, like Steve has bigger pieces than this, like a whole tusk. No imagine, man, imagine making it into like a gobblet or like a horn. Yeah, like a Viking. I'm pretty sure that would be fucking humongous. And he wouldn't. It wouldn't be practical for him. I couldn't hold it. He's like, yeah, that's massive. Maybe a toilet he could turn it into. You're just shooting I should in an amm tusk. Now that that is luxury. That's pretty sweet. That's pretty sweet. Yeah, very cool. I want to talk about a few talk about the merch store. Oh so we talked about it off screen last episode, but I'm in the final stages of actually getting this merch store up and running. It'll be on Etsy because it's the cheapest that I could find to host the products to then buy it from the print on demand service that I'll be setting up. I'm hoping a long way, fir. Yeah, I'm hoping to get this Etsy store up by the fifteenth. I hope what that's done, we'll be able to put a few designs up on the stage. There's a couple of designs on there right now, but I don't know if they're properly done. I think they are. We've got a few designs that are going to be up there. It's going to be really cool, and then people will actually finally be able to get some shirts and some merch That's pretty much people in Canada and in the United States. Yes, so depending now. Technically, from what I understand from this print on demand service that I am using is wherever you order in the world, your shipment is going to come from the closest print shop owned by these guys. So if you're in Canada, you're going to get a shirt shipped to you within Canada. If you're in the States, you're gonna get a ship You're gonna get a shirt shipped to you from the closest spot in the States. From what I understand, convenient if you're in the UK, same thing, if you're in Australia, same thing. We're worldwide, baby, yeah, worldwide, prestige, worldwide. And what's cool about this place is all their printing stuff should be is like universal. So this company will tell these print spots, what what printer to use, what settings to use, all this stuff, so everything is like the same no matter where you order it from. That will be that, and hopefully everything will go as planned and we'll have this up by next week end, So keep a look out that. Follow us on Twitter so you can know when that goes live. I'll be posting on that as well. But from the looks of it, the shirts I got, they look really good. They feel good, good and warm. That sweater you gave me for a walk I was strolling yesterday, pretty nice. Yeah it was a bit cold out, but yeah, yeah. The thing with the sweater one is most likely my problem, my fumble is when I printed that sweater, I didn't expand the design on the full chest. So I think I've expanded the design the full chest and I went to go order it and I was like, oh wait, I forgot something. I went back and when I go back, it like put it back down and I was changing colors to make sure the colors didn't It's not bad, but I believe it can be bigger. Also, that design, I think we're gonna step off. We're not going to put on any shirts because it's too busy. There's too much shit going on. That's the pocket Monster's design. Yeah, unless it's got it's got to be massive for you to really see what is going on in the design. So I don't know Pocket Monsters. Yeah, I don't know if that will be that great on a T shirt. In the future. What I would like to do is have a gaming a like a gaming apparel store that this leads into. So it's going to be many gaming designs, not just for the all the trolls gaming podcasts, but like just like overall, so anybody who likes gaming can go in and purchase a shirt general general gaming. Yeah, general gaming. And like just putting up that we've already got twenty people going to the store in like a week. What do you mean, like, because that's he sent me like a people have been to your store front. Oh just like searching, Yeah, just like searching shit. And I didn't even try. So once I start dialing in the SEO and the tags and all that stuff, you know, it could pop up at like twenty five people going signs. Designs, Yeah, some good designs. It's all about the designs and tagging it and then like just seeing what designs are doing good and if the designs aren't doing good, take them off. That's how you do it, because the longer those designs are up right, it'll cost money to keep them up on Etsy, Like every time they renew it's x amount of cents or dollars like that. But anyway, Uh, the ball is rolling, the ball is rolling for the merch store. Cool the merch ball Hot, damn hot, damn. It's Christmas. Oh and by the way, guys, like we're selling a lot of those vr rock dot com lenses. Nice, Like we've we've made more money than in that than we have in like advertisements or anything. It's pretty cool. Well it's a better rate, yeah, isn't it. We gotta do more vr content. Do we thank vr rock or should they be thinking us? I'm confused thanking us, so we should be thinking that. Our rep contacted me is like, can you can you put this ad in all of your videos, Like, isn't that what we do? Like every single video that we put on YouTube only on our I ain't doing that. No, only on our. We did the episode and then I put it on whatever VR content I do. I think I'm going to reach out to Fanatical. It's like a CD keys site which I bought Dragon's Dogma two on on sale because I spent one hundred and ten dollars on Steam after taxes and everything for Dragons Dogma two unbelievable, like cross yeah, because I pre ordered it right and then not buying that, and then I get any I get a little ad pushed to me. But this Fanatical site offering like twenty percent off Dragon's Dogma two. I was like what, So I go there and it's taxes in twenty percent off, so instead of one hundred and nine dollars, it was like seventy seven dollars. I was like, holy shit. So I refunded my Steam one and bought it on that one and I saved like thirty bucks, which goes back into my gaming budget. So Dragons Dogma two is like a fantasy yeah RPG. Is it online though? Nope? It was like, a character creator is out. Yeah, the character I've been playing, I've been playing a lot of stuff in it. It looks very looks very look in depth. Yeah, really cool, detailed, almost like that. You remember the Guild Wars two character creator Like that was pretty fucking good for the time. Yeah, and then I went back to the Old War too, not too long ago, and it's like, I remember I made my character look she looked like Megan Fox, like, she looked really good. It's like, damn, I don't really remember. I remember playing Guild Wars one but not one was sweet. I remember playing in that room that you're right there. Yeah, that's twenty years ago. I played it because I got sick of fucking paying money for World of Warcraft. I was like, this is so stupid. I'm not doing this anymore. So I just put in Guild Wars because it was free and get to level cap in World Warcraft and it was never even got to level I got fifty and it was playing. I was like, fuck this fifty When they set fifty fifty paladin and I was like, okay, this is cool. And then I was like I'm not spending fucking fifteen to eighteen dollars a month on this shit anymore or like whatever, it was thirty bucks plus tax. It doesn't even start until you get to level for two I loved leveling and World of Warcraft. I loved it for two months. You can get put on that blade music. Just put that blade music on and just grind. Yeah, Guild Wars was cool. Though. I liked Guild Wars because you know, it was kind of a nice change. The graphics are nice, the environment was cooler, and I was like, this is cool, yes, free and I'm not fucking spending my I really liked Guild Wars. My my part time jogged about Guild Wars was the legendary items that you grind and do all these weird challenges for it. They didn't have like they were only aesthetic so you didn't have to get them, you know what I mean do to have the best gear. Like the legendary items they did. The stats weren't different than than the like top other I just cosmetic get They were like cosmetic remember that, but that's cool Because I was like looking at these, I was like, why would I want this? I don't give a shit about this. It doesn't even make me better. I just it just like it looks really cool. I don't care. Yeah, but it shows what you've done, like and compared to something else. But like but in terms of like being prepared for like the Dungeons or whatever, it doesn't make you any better. Depends how hard. I don't know if it's changed or whatever. That's crazy. This is crazy, that question chain and grinding that you had to do. So should Dragon's Dogma then just another fucking thing to add to the back law? Yeah, it looks, it looks amazing. I do think play number one. Nope, I did not play number one. Okay, So, like I think you'll just need to go just watch a video about like the overworld of it. But I don't think you'll need to know much of the story from number one, from from what I'm just researching. But I'm just I'm just gonna watch a little video about what Dragon's Dogma is and like the lore, maybe a little bit of lore behind it, and then jump into two. I tried to play Dragon's dogaball one a few times and like, the graphics are so jarring and the controls aren't great. So it's when what year did it come out? Through? It a while ago. I remember if Pam played it, Like Pam's gone through it and she's beat it like multiple times in the first one, really, I think so, I bought it multiple times, and I've I bought it on Switch for five dollars, and I bought it on PS five for four dollars. Mm hmm, and I don't and I'm playing it more on Switch, which is because it's on its nice small screen and portable but interesting. It looks it looks so good though, like all the videos I've been watching, Like, man, this looks incredible. It looks incredible, and the character creation is incredible that they detail and all the faces and the graphics and all that. Oh, it's getting excited. It's getting excited. I don't think I've been excited for a game like this for a while. Actually, like maybe Starfield, huh, like leading up to Starfield. Maybe, Man, I got out with Starfield. Yeah, yeah, actually pretty nice. I went. I jumped into Starfield, not with all my mods. Oh it looks so yeah, feels so good. Did they fucking upgrade or update that game to have any HDR on consolet yet I haven't looked into it. I think so I think they got FSR three on PC. Now, speaking of HDR, I received my new television, the High Sense you eate eight k right in Canada, the U eight k in the new television, and I'm very impressed, very impressed by this TV compared to the OLED, like coming from the O LAD, the brightness is very high, can get higher on these LEDs is higher. But but with the O Lead it looks brighter than the contrast because of the contrast. Yeah, but this one is like it's really bright, but the contrast is really good too. The black levels are I was very I'm very impressed. If it's not it's not an O Lead like you know, you can tell ye by by the black bars at the top and bottom when you're watching, like the difference between especially when I couldn't even see them, like when you come from see them like yeah, and then go, I could barely see these black bars this my TV upstairs. Black bars they're like gray like you can see them. Yeah. So this one, kid, did you alter the contrast in any way to kind of minimize the like the bar to the movie ratio? So that was out of the box settings. I mean, I went through my spears and muscle disk and tweaked the couple things. But but at that time with the black bars. Now, I watched The Argyle, which is really weird. But oh that's one of the movies that came out. Yeah I remember here like Sam Morocco is hilarious, but like the movie was very It was ridiculous. Ridiculous because I almost bought a Mini Led for a monitor here for my computer. Yeah. I was gonna get a four K Mini Led, like forty two inch oh, like who whatever it was at best, I was just looking at it. I was like, oh, should I just get a TV for my next gaming monitor? Oh? It was it TV. Yeah, I don't know if this comes in forty two inch, but maybe it would be good. It'd be really good. It does one hundred and forty four hurts too four right, And like all I wanted is TV, and all I could I could just sit on my rocking chair here, sit back and game with the controller up here. Like that's that's what I was going to go for. But then I found, uh, the OLAD monitor open box insane deal, so I jumped on that one. Yeah. Man, So if anyone's looking for a TV, I'm telling you the U eight K by high Sense very good, very it's I would it's comparable to Olead. I would say, wow, not as good, but not as good, but it's very good. Oh, what's the price compares? Like the price comparisons with these, like an Old like a low o Lead versus a high Mini Led. You know what I mean? Yeah, like the Samsung. Let's say Samsung has three different versions of their Old. Now it's like S ninety C, S ninety two C and the S ninety five C. There's three models. The lowest one is the S ninety C sixty five inch would cost twenty four hundred. Whoa and year's is fifteen hundred. Yeah, and I paid fifteen hundred for the for the High Sense at Costco with a six year warranty. I got the extra one hundred and thirty dollars for the sixth year. Man and they'll take anything back if that thing fell from space and smashed into a million pieces cost How did it get into space? I'm impressed with it. I'm gonna I'm I still am waiting back from this fucking warranty thing. I might call them. I'll call them next week because it'll be two weeks on Monday where they're heard it where it's still under review, like the credit card Fuck is this No, not the credit card company, it's like some other company that they do it through. Oh okay, yeah, so like it's been two weeks, it'll be two weeks on Monday that it's my sam is under review, Like go fuck off? Or are you kidding me? Yeah? Unbelievable yep. At least it's something though, but still man, like I need I might, I want my fucking old lead back yep. And the worst part is like I'm gonna have to pay out of my fucking pocket to replace it and wait for these idiots to send me money Like oh, oh gets stupid. That's the tough. That's the thing though. It's like you pay three grand to replace the TV and then you're going to wait a year to get that check back in the mail. Well apparently it takes three months. I don't believe that. So people on red Flag deals everyone said, yeah, it took me ninety days. Ninety five days, they said, like multiple people, So same issue, just for the replacement for the check oh not for the same issue, not for a TV. But I don't know, does that matter, maybe all righters. Uh? Next on my list, the Series S can't handle Power World servers? Wait? What list? What are we doing here? This is just shit. I'm talking about the list of shit you're talking. Yeah, we're still an intro here, but this is going to handle this? Uh? Series S can't handle Power World servers. Who would have thought Alma and her friend alb and her friend are trying to play power together like here at my house, okay, and I've spun up because Alma was using the Legion Go and her friend's going to use the Series S. So it's like which one is more powerful to run the server? Right? So it's like, oh, obviously the Series S I just did go. I'd assume, right, I wouldn't assume that. Yeah, Well, so we started the server on the Series S account or on the Series S and like they'll play for like a couple hours and then they'll start crashing like every ten minutes, Like what the fuck? So then I read online that the Series S can't load all that stuff into memory, like all the world items that are dropping, the pals that are loading all that shit, right, and the textures that are loading, Like it's such a piece of shit, and so I'm like, okay, so I'll go in to the custom server settings and I just take all the sliders down like world population, uh, pal population, item drop rates, just the plane of green guns. Yeah, so I put all that shit down and then it worked for a while. It worked for a while, and then it started crashing again. So I'm like, what the fuck is going on? So I don't know if it's overheating, like the Series S is overheating. Maybe, but I did see a post online about that Series S overheating with the because they had it like close in a closed space or whatever, which you do behind the TV. There it's pretty it's not that close. It's I mean, you got it like against the wall and like against the TV. No, I have it against the PS five and then it's opens five. But so yeah, so I've moved it. Now we're gonna try it. I moved it out of that little console alcove alcohol cops uh because one I moved the server to my PC and they had no issues. So I opened the server up on my PC game Pass and then I had Alma's friend remote playoff my PC and they had no issues. And she's like, oh my God, this looks so much better. I was like, yeah, but yeah, we're gonna try that. I guess we're gonna move the Xbox. The series S. We're gonna try running on that. But like, man, the series s. The more and more, the more and more I use consoles, the more and more I realize how fast they're aging. You know, well, the series is a budget yeah console, but even PS five, which I'm going to talk about in the news section, but yeah, that's the series s can't handle Power World. Well, I am not shocked. Yeah, personally, look at this face. From what I've heard, this is me being not shocked. I thought I could handle just like two people playing and hosting a fucking server, and she eats. Man. Man, my computer can barely handle that giant tower we built. Yeah, okay, but Alma and her friend aren't building massive towers. They can barely build like a woodhouse. I was watching them. They can barely do it, Like I was watching them play, and I couldn't watch them play. It's cute, it's cute, but it's funny. Yeah, it's cute, but I I was like, why aren't you doing this? That's cute. I'm I'm like Alie. Her friend like, Alie, open up your menu, please, and she opens up her menu and you know how many fucking skill points she has on I like, not used skill points? Oh my god. I was like, why aren't you using your She's like, I don't. I'm just saving them because I don't know what I want to put the minion. I'm like, the technology points, you mean technology points and the skill points. You can't build anything. She's not using your technology. And then she's like she's always out like exploring and catching pals, and Album is always in the base, like doing the mining and stuff like that was the system in place. I mean, what better game to play though? For I know, I like, I like coming down the stairs and they're like both really into it, like gaming land Land style. It's very fun. But that's it for my my intro stories and whatnot. That's a long intro. Yeah it's pretty good. Okay, well we can go into a game time and hell yeah, let's do it. Okay, let's go. Where's your soundboard? I reinstalled Windows and I lost everything and it was a pain in the as to set up. So I'm not doing it all right, what do we gotta be an easier way. There's gotta be I don't know, many virtual Yeah, it was like virtual sound devices and virtual microphones pointing to other like outputs, and I was like, that's what that That's what that Algatto steam button thing does, all in USB. That's just a controller though, that's just a controller, Like it will just shortcut me playing that sound on my computer, but behind the scenes that sound needs to be played into an an input, yeah, and then played back and then I have to use as my default this my default sound device, this other virtual device that like combined. But I thought they have all that in the software suite of that hardware, like not on the steam deck. The steam deck is like a short cut for anything, like you can press you press the button and you can configure that. I'm assuming a lot of streamers are they have like externally smart boards, right, I think it's an external thing soundboard I try to do it was like, this is a pain in the ass, Yeah, it is pain in the ass. Anyway, what we're currently playing, guys, Oh boy, well on plug fin on Fantasy Rebirth. Oh yes, how many hours do you got that? Now? Almost at thirty hours? Yep, I have completed the first two areas fully everything on the map, and it's just one of those games where I like to you know, where I don't mind doing that. It's not like a like a giant map with a like a witch or three map with a giant one hundred thousand things on it kind of thing. Yeah, like an assassin's creed. It's not like that. It's just like there's a few things that you can go and and the thing is that those side things make you make your bet, make your stuff better, make your kind of party better. It levels your party, you know what I mean. So it's not like you do them for no reason. It's pretty cool. There's like there's little things that make your summon materials better and you can go around there's little parts on the map and it's kind of like a side mission thing. You don't have to do them, but they make your summoning material stronger, so it's good to do them. Hmm. So that that kind of thing. It's it's really cool, really good. I'm enjoying it. And uh, there's a little the card game too. There's a little card Yeah is it the same one as like, No, this is new, this is a new card game. It's new it's called Queen's Blood. But it's like it's like a mix I would say between like Tic tac toe and gwent. That's what I was thinking, because it's like you have a grid and you place cards one at a time on the grid, and the cards basically the cards will have spaces on them determined that will give you when you place it, it'll allow you to put a card in the other space beside it. I thought that was what they did for fun of face. I think that's the Fun Fantasy fourteen game. Oh maybe it's from Finalists fourteen. I don't know. I didn't play that. I thought you said Final Fantasy nine, like the or Final Fantasy seven and nine. Remember that old card game? Oh yeah, Triple Tad, which one was Triple Triad? The fuck is Triple Triad is a card game mini card game originally created for Final Fantasy five, six, seven, eight, Yeah, Final Fasy eight, introduced in Final Fantasy nine, and now in Final Fantasy fourteen. Triple Try. That's the one with the nine grid pattern you put your cards in. Now this one is uh no, that's smaller, hmm, So this one is a bit different. I mean, I don't remember this one, but this one has a bigger grid. It's like uh, one, two, three, yeah, five, six, seven, seven, three rows of seven. Oh, and it tells you where you can place them. Yes, so in you place cards in each row and you have a score for that row to beat your opponent in that row in terms of score. Yeah, this is the siler has two out of three of the best rows wins. This is very similar to the Believe it or not? Uh, what's that fucking switch game called with Splatoon two had a card game in it? Oh? Really, and this looks quite similar. Interesting, like a Tetris card game. Weird. Tetris weird. It's kind of like tik tac toe though, too, because you have to like, well, I'm gonna go here. Well, I don't want to go there until like he plays a card there, so then I can take because you can steal the adjacent slots from your opponent by placing a card after he does, and it'll change the color of that See those little light bulbs. Yeah, so that's where you're allowed to play your cards, but your cards give you those light bulbs. So and then the light bulbs are like the mana. So there's cards that are one light bulb. There's cards that are up to three light bulbs, so you have to like triple up on those light bulbs to place a three card. Do you go around to like do quest to find more cards? Kind of like whatcher? Yeah, there's like, well, there's like people that you go in battle and they give you cards. You can buy cards, you can make your own deck, but yeah, I like those ones. So that's like another kind of side quest that I don't mind doingking because it's like a card game. That's cool. But yeah, it's been pretty freaking sweet. It's got to costa del soul there. You know, saw the little get on the beach, you know, nice you for forget her bikini? O? You know how it is? Did Cloud get his Did Cloud get his bikinia? No, there's no MANKINI just like some kind of banana hamma Hawaiian shirt. No banana hammock. Unfortunately, they how's the music? Like they must have re recorded all the soundtrack and I think they released it too, right. Yeah, music is good. Yeah, it's really good. It's like it's like playing on the original like theme, you know, and they kind of change it and yeah, it's good. Cool, hmm, it's good. I find myself humming it, humming the sound to the song. Well, I can't wait for all three of those to be released as one game for three, you know, Like I feel the second one is just like so much better than the first one, really, because like the first one was just like like all the gripes that I had at the first one, I don't have with this one. Like the ship that they made you do that was so like slow the first one, like oh, you have to go through that. A lot of people are saying that, like the Gaming Duo saying that too. I'm just like, oh, why do I have to do this? It has nothing to do, Like, it's just pointless. There was a lot of pointless work to make the game longer. In the first one. I feel I didn't want to happen, did not need to be there. I could probably play Rebirth because I've played the original and I know kind of like just yeah, but they changed the story a little bit at the end, so like you know, there's like now there's like two timelines kind of because they kind of opened it up where there's these little things called like whispers of Fate. I think they're called they're like these little ghosts that are showing up that show up throughout the remake, but they're not in the original game, right, so these things are kind of there to make sure that fate happens to the way that the planet wants it, you know, like destiny, you know what I mean. But when seph Roth went all crazy and he's doing his thing, like he's changing what the planet thinks should happen, like with destiny and fate and whatever, so these whispers kind of come up and they're trying to steer things back for the planet. And then when at the like at the end of Rebirth spoiler but okay, spoiler for Final Fantasy seven remake, do not continue skip ahead roughly four minutes at the end of Rebirth or not Rebirth remake. Whenever they whenever you fight Cephroth, you fight this, You fight Cephroth, and and doing that goes against the planet because you want to destroy Sephroth, right, which is not what the planet had And even though Sephroth is a douche and he's been in an asshole, the planet didn't have that in its plan for you to destroy Cephroth. So you fight him and you make the decision that you're going to go after him, and then the planet's like no, and it makes this giant fucking boss out of all these weird ghosts, ghost things, and that's the ending fight in in in remake. Nice, So that's the only that's kind of what's different. And then when you defeat that boss, it kind of splits the timeline and it shows the other timeline where Zach survives. Oh cool, So like Zach has survived in with Cloud in this other timeline and then it kind of goes back to you. So I don't know what they're going to do with that after, but it leads me to believe that maybe you know, the story will be different. Maybe you know in the original Okay, so they're giving eyes, right, yeah, so maybe she doesn't in this who fucking knows. I don't know. Now they're giving an excuse to actually remake the Chames. Yeah, they're adding that at least there's whatever. That's cool. Yeah, that's it. So yeah, I'm uh, I'm thirty hours in. I'm on the third the third region. Nice, Daniel, what's been going on? Man? Uh, Well, I've been able to play I've been able to play some more games and do a little bit more gaming with the transition into the job, because like I've been kind of I haven't really been teaching, so like I am now with the new schedule, But between you know, trying to find out what the new schedule was and telling people, Okay, we're just going to hold off for lessons, I had some time to kind of just pick things up and just enjoy some downtime. So I've just been to a lot of things that I just have had hankerings for, cravings for. So I Jonathan starting Ghosts of SUSHIMD made me. I was like, damn, I missed that game, and I don't really I had. I thought I had some stuff to do in it, like some more tales or whatever, but it turns out I didn't. But I realized I was on New Game Plus on hard mode because I played my first round three was on normal, and I was like, well, let's let's make it harder and see. So I just dip back into that just to like say hello to the game again because I was like, god, I kind of want to see it again and I want to see how it holds up, what it looks like, you know what I just wanted to feel it again. So I did, and I was like, damn, this is so good, Like it's still so good. Everything about the world and the movement and everything. It's just it's incredible. Oh, Jonathan, you got to keep playing it once you're done Final Fantasy or Parallel whatever. But like I said, I don't play games parallel, bro, What UNLESS said, I don't game game parallel. I guess that's true. But it's just again, another one of those games. I'll keep playing, playing, playing and playing, playing from scratch whatever. It's hard to accept that though, because like I love my new game, plus with everything that I have still, because you get to keep everything except for certain things I don't remember what. Yeah, so there's that and story of Seasons a wonderful life. I think we've all kind of been playing, right. I haven't touched it in a couple of weeks. Well, I have been playing. I've definitely been playing it because it's something that yes, it's a cozy game whatever, but there are goals that I have that I wanted to and I had put it down for a while after the or sometimes in the fall, I'd put it down and I picked it back up again. Because I was like, there's I want to at least get to year three and see, you know, what happens, what happens, how far does this like child development go growing into an adult and like is she gonna help on the farm and all that stuff. And I've never got to that point yet in any of these games. They've always had you know, yeah, child, they always stop it like the baby yeah, or they don't, and I just never continued. But I want to see where that goes. And if in year three she's a little older and then what comes with that, that would be really cool. So it just continues to be a comfort, this game, a warm blanket. I'm finally at Winter year two, so I'm almost at year three to find out, you know, if anything does change and what changes, because year two change a lot changed. There were different people, new villagers. Like I've said before in an episode, really don't spoil it, Okay, well, I won't tell you who the villagers in the third year. What there's new villagers in the third year or the second year. You'll notice things change already. So I'm going to see what changes in year three soon enough. It's only ten day calendars, So have you looked up how many years it is until like it stops changing or you're not. No, I don't know. I'll just keep playing it. Maybe I'll look it up at one point. But I'm at winter year two and I finally broke a hundred thousand ges, so I'm at least somewhere close to like being able to afford the farm upgrades, you know, like new buildings and machines, because they're fucking pricey. They're like, yeah, man, it's only ten days. I found that weird when I started, it was like only ten years. It is weird. Crops and shit, it is weird. But yeah, I haven't written here. I have a bunch of points that I was going to talk about as well. Yeah, okay, well, well we can definitely get into that. I think that the long the days are just longer. That's why they probably made them calendars shorter, because there's just more to do in it. Like you'll be working from six o'clock in the morning until maybe like nine o'clock at night, tightening. You're not just kind of going believable, I didn't have anything. Well, once you get shit, once you start picking everything up, you will, that's for sure, because you gotta water your crops twice a day, and there is a certain hour threshold where there's a day you have to do. But if you want to grow well and in time because the season windows close, you have to be able to you gotta water them twice a day if it's not raining even but when it snows, you got a lot. The name is doctor Green Thumbs. I have to tell you just where I'm from. Like, you don't have to water the but after a certain amount of time you can water them again. So you're going to be waiting for that twelve hour mark to pass until it's available to water again. It's the same thing with milking your cows. I thought you had to feed your cows twice a day. You have to milk them. You can milk them twice a day. You don't have to, but you can, so a lot of animals will The care routine can happen twice a day too. The animals like affection will recharge so you can like snuggle them again and their hearts will come up like twice a day the other day. So there's a lot of work and then the days are longer. So that's probably why they made it ten days, but the original game was also ten days too, so I and I don't know if a lot of these features are in the original game where the days would take longer. I remember only watering plants once unless I was bad at the original game and didn't know anything. I don't know, but yeah, that's what I think. But there's a lot of upgrades and stuff, like there's the pond, you know, which is like ten k the seed maker, the fertilizer maker, the amazing field, which I think is only that's what I call myself. I call myself a fertilizer verizer. You can't use your shit for Fertilizer just kills everything, just wilts everything. Yeah, there's a fertilizer spreader one and two, the coop upgrade, and the barn upgrade. So I haven't got any of those yet. I'm like, I don't really know what a pond is going to be good for. But they're all like thirty forty fifty up to like one hundred and fifty thousand, so lots lots to work toward. Yeah, I have. I've bought a second sheep because wool is very lucrative, so definitely buy sheeps. Guys buy sheep. Just listening to you talk about I just made note of them. By the second sheep, by as many sheep maxing as farm. This sheep is like spreadsheets. This is what I'll tell you about this game. The game is good. You're looking into it too much. They're day without some quality of life stuff. There's some stuff they've done without since I've played other Story of seasons since. I guess this was released a long time ago, because it is it is older. I have about ten hours of it, I think right now. But I'll start with my likes. The graphics are very nice, nice and clean, updated, looks really good and runs well on my Legion Go. Like I can actually play a game at full settings, full resolution looks good. I don't like Dan don't saying that you're busier. I don't feel as busy, maybe because I didn't know you have to do everything twice a day compared to the other things. So like I've also, I only have two plops of land? Is that all I get? Plops? Yeah? Two plops of land. You get two fields. I don't know. There is one called an amazing field, like I said in the upgrades, but that is not available in your thingy to purchase. I think you only get it if you make a hybrid crop for the first time and then you talk to buddy there your farm. You're that old man Takaku or whatever. Because it's only two Like that's all the crops I can plant. Well, I don't know. This amazing field might be an additional one that he amazing. Yeah, you only get two amazing field. It's just these crops they're not They're not going to make me much money. These crops. Plants start the right ones and you fertilize, they'll hire tier therehigher tiers. So yeah, okay, yeah, fertilize all that shit. I guess that's where they're Instead of getting you to do an enormous field of crops, if you bring it slower, you spend the same amount of time you fertilize the crops, get them higher star or higher tier, which gives you more money, you know what I mean. So yeah, I guess putting it smaller but giving you the option to yield higher quality produce, which would give you more money. Yeah, that's understandable. But I find this game seems to be more focused around like live stock, like more livestock. Like I like chickens and the cows and all that shit. I find that they're more like, oh, get your livestock, because livestock, I find, is better than the cropping. I don't really like the cropping in this game. The seasons are quicker, much quicker, Like you're saying, I feel like it's fast forwarding my life. This is kind of like a like and a dislike compared to the other games. You're wasting away. Yeah, it's like I could see my life wasting away, even more so, even more so than actually playing this game. The crop seasons blend into each other, which I like. So you can have one crop go through three seasons two seasons, which is cool. I like that, Yes I did. I didn't notice that. I like setting up shop in town, even though I'll just be selling like three eggs or like three cans of Oh yeah, I forgot. That's pretty funny. That was funny because I went to cause Van the big dude came to set up his shop, and and then there was a lady there at this at the little what do you call it? The little Square, and she was like I talked to her, She's like, are you going to set up your shop. I was like, the fuck I can set up a shop. Yeah, you can just go there and press a or whatever. I know, But I never saw the prompt come up open shop. I never noticed it switched down in the controls when I ran over the little circle that pay, the cobblestone circle, and I was like, what the fuck? I didn't know that, So that might be fun to explore. One point, if I have shit tons of like crops and stuff, because I wonder, you know, are people what's the point of the store. Do people pay more than takakuric and getting you know what I mean? I'm definitely, I'm sure and you get the money right away, right right? So yeah, which leads me. Oh, another like is how I don't I like how you don't have to mine or to upgrade your shit. Yeah that's huge, I think because the time sink of mining all the copper or in the iron or no, there is none. Oh so you go to the fat dude in the square and you just order the up upgraded watering can. Yeah, it depends like what year you're in or or what chapter or whatever. Yeah, so that's cool. My dislikes is there's some creepy old man who lives on my property and I want him out. He's also very lazy, and he's inconsistent. When I wake up, I want my money. I want my money deposited in my fucking bin when I wake up, not in the afternoon when he feels like it's time to work. This fucking guy just comes in spends time on my farm, and like it's inconsistent. Like when I wake up, I want my money there so I can go buy my stuff. I don't want to wait till the afternoon. Depositive money, then go out, have some nomn respect. Man, he is your grandfather's friend. He was his farm made. I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure they were gayers. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they were lovers. Why else would he be living on the farm. Yeah, that's possible. Is an old lazy gay man. Yeah, they in two different houses. But that fucking pisses me off. You do now? Also, buying the animals is strange. And one time it took like two days for him to deliver feed because he's so lazy to my fucking farm, Like, where's my feed? I haven't got my chicken feed yet? And my chickens are Star Wars feed? How do I get this feed here? It comes in like the afternoon. Fuck, like be here in the morning. You live right there, and you're old and you got nothing to do, sleep till ten o'clock. Other than that, I like just I just like cutting up on the couch of the coffee playing this for a few hours for Saturday Sunday morning. Yeah, I love that. Oh I thought you went in the game, You're like, and then and then it like goes dark. And then it's like in euro Trip where the guy's like he's just there massaging your shoulders, old man, and you're like, oh, mischooz. Yeah, this old guy just keeps popping. I like him. I will give him gifts. I'll say I'll give him like a herb sleep or an egg soup, and he's like, say a kid, is that for me? I'm like yep. And then the next day he'll be like, Hey, that thing you made me was really good. It's kind of my favorite, Like good you fucking remember that my favorite? Man. I don't know, I'm just I. I I really love the game. And yes, there are some weird quirks of it, but that's why I like it. Sets it apart from all the other harvests templates. It's definitely different. But I like that it's more intimate. You know, you can really zoom in check out. You get to know your animals like a little bit. You know, there's more affection, there's more take care of them. Yes, I don't mind the crop thing at all. I don't need to be taking care of a massive fucking field. I know how many plots there are within one or within I know many squares there are within one plot. There's fifty four, So you times that by two and you get one hundred and eight, and you just buy fifty four per field when you go. It's super simple if you want to do one crop per field type thing whatever. So there's one hundred and eight spots total. Does it matter what field? Like is one field better than the other quality wise or no? Yeah, the one closest to your house is like poor soil, so like it probably needs fertilizer to yield better crop, but the other one is better, So if you use fertilizer on the second one, you'll probably get a better crop. So I don't know why they really did that, because like, why would I want shitty yeah, it's not like the crops are cheaper. There's no benefit. Really, I don't know why they did that, so whatever, but it is what it is. And the way you're analyzing this game is like it's like it's an MMO on your last eating Dude, what are you doing? I don't spend this much time playing the game cozy game. All right, there's that, and I've been playing straight. Oh yes, have you not? Have you beat that yet? It's a very short game. Oh no, no, I have on have not beat it. You're playing fucking Wonderful Life whatever the ship that is, and you're dissecting it to oblivion. You're instead of playing straight. It is a game I tend to play and beat that wonderful Life that is. It is on my list as a game that I want to explore more so. But Stray is getting fun, Like it's actually I finally got to the point where you're kind of out of the sewer slums and into the outside world and you can beat this character named Doc right and he helps you. You're only there. You're only like two hours in, not even an hour in. It's probably two three hours. It's only five hours. I think you're just playing it slow. That happens like at the beginning. That's at the beginning, right out of the tutorial. Yeah, it's basically not like two hours in the game. I'm like probably halfway through, but I collected the deflexer because I was getting a little sick of the fucking I'm getting a little sick of having to run away from these little Jeremy zerks or whatever in the jerks. Oh yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's cool. So the obvious there was like heavy obvious back to the future influences, you know, doc, and then he said something like it need the deflexer needs one point on jigawatts to like, yeah, there's also a guy. Isn't he dressed in like Marty McFly? I don't know. There was the there's oh, there is a guy who's like dressed like in that that puffy guest. I don't know, I didn't notice that. I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure there's a robot that's like where that. There was one one robot named Momo, and he's got this super dope like lamingo like tropical like long shirt. Yeah, I fucking loved him. But it's getting cool. I'm learning learning about like what the zirks are, which is cool. So learning about the world a little bit more in the environment and why they're there and all that. Well, that's the whole that's the whole point of the game is learning what like what happened happened. It's very cool. So I'm playing more of it. But the game has this really nice it's just really well paced. That's what I'm really enjoying about. It's well paced because you know, maybe it's as shorter duration, so they were like, Okay, we'll have this happen here and this happening here, So you just kind of consistently learning about more and more uncovering more and a nice way. It's not like, Okay, this is dragging, what am I going to find out about it? It's just a nice everything's being uncovered steadily. So yeah, I'm really really enjoying that, and and I'm looking forward to kind of beating that. I'm sure that it won't take very much longer. I guess that's kind of it. I've just been enjoying some some gaming. You know, I wanted to play more Valalla, but yeah, I've got a few here. Valhalla being a point of it, I'm done. I can't. I'm dropping it. I'm dropping it for good forever. I'm done. Oh that's a DNF did not finish. This game has completely exhausted me. I put another fifteen hours into it after the fifty hours I've put into it earlier, right before I stopped playing, and then fifteen hours it's got me right back to where that fifty hours got me before. Huh, Like, I just can't play it. The sheer size and the amount of shit you have to do, it's too overwhelming, even if it just do the I'm just doing the main story course. I won after the other, after the other, after the other. I'm not even going to check out anything else. That's what I felt like. Red Dead Redemption two was well, oh, I just like did the main story and it's still was seventy five fucking hours. Yeah, and it's just not worth it. The game isn't worth it. The story that's that it's bringing you through is just not captivating enough for me to spend ninety hours through. That's not good. Then, you know, like it's not good. I'm just like again, I have to go to another castle and get them to join me. Like how many do I need to do of this? Yeah, like this is like the tenth one, Like fuck off, Like this is so stupid, and like the game is probably the most gorgeous open world that I've ever seen in a video games cranked up max graphics on PC. It's unbelieva. It looks so fucking good. It looks so good. But like, uh, this is the one time I have to say that graphics can't bring me through a game, you know, Like this game is so ridiculous. I wonder if that's why I haven't played more of it, because I'm like, I don't really like I like the historical part of the story where it's like you're you're taking over England as as Danes or as you know, Vikings, and you're trying to get more tribes to help you out and whatever. But that's all I care about. I think I just don't care about like the mid or the what's it called. Yeah, and I don't want to do that again. Yeah I needed to watch doing that again that again. If they make if they have made me go through it again, I know, so like I'm uninstalling it. I'm just never going to play this game again. It's completely off. It's off the backlow. Interesting. I'm done. I'm done. I've put I put what is it now, sixty five hours into it and I'm not even close. I'm halfway to the end of the game. Like what the fuck were they thinking? Just half the game? Just cut the game in half? Yeah? Anyway, game and done with val Ala. Interesting. Now I want to go through my little Dabble four thing that I mentioned last week that I was going to be top one hundred. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so it come out. Yeah yeah, I've been playing the ladder. Is it just like a dungeon where you are I'm gonna tell you, Okay, cool, so hit me, hit me with it. So there isn't one hundred people playing Diablow anymore. There's more a lot more, and they're all better than me to your last place. No, not last, but like so the ladder is, it's split all between classes. So there's a Barbarian ladder, there's a Sorcerer ladder, there's a demon hunter ladder. Yeah yeah, yeaham right, and then you compete against whoever's in that in that class for you, so it doesn't split it up per build. So like a Sorcerer. The Sorcerer Ladder is all sorts of Sorcerer builds. Okay, yeah, obviously obviously. Now the Gauntlet is a a dungeon that resets weekly, so it's a weekly dungeon. The out the the map is the same, the monster placements are the same, the shrines and buffs are the same in every every day until that resets every week. So you can go in there, learn the map, like, do your like go through it? Like the optimal way is it? Find always the same? All the bad guys are the same, you know, like you can make a path, yes, have a plan, yes, exactly. That's really cool. So everyone's on the same level with that, right, So you can find the most optimal path online for your class, so you can even see what the people are using, what paths are going through to get all the points. Yeah yeah yeah, so uh so there's a timer it's like six or eight minutes, I can't remember. But anything you do in that map will get you points. So killing monsters gets you points, opening chests gets your points, killing bosses gets you points. Activating shrines gets you points. So anything that you do grants you points, and you have your like point counter on the side. So the faster you get through the map, you you can reset the map again and go through it multiple times to keep getting your points up. Oh okay, okay, so some classes will do this faster than other classes. It's just the way it is because of their set, their skill sets and their gear and whatever. So right now, as a Sorcerer, you can well a certain build. So right now I'm a I'm a Frost Sorcerer, which I was pretty much annihilating the game like I was. I'm doing Tier seventy dungeons right now, which is like the same level as this gauntlet, and I'm ripping through these things, okay, And I'm like, oh man, I'm pretty good. Okay, I can pretty good. So but I don't have nine to twenty five gear level with all my gear, I'm like half, so like half my gear is nine twenty five. I don't have my uber unique helmet, which is like gonna be a problem. I think I'd like to get that. So you have to farm one of the bosses until he drops it. So I go in and I run the online. I'm like, oh, that's pretty good. And I'm already at like the highest rank of the of the gauntlet. So there's four ranks, four medallions that you can collect. So there's one which is like the base, uh, the base level which is Bloodied, then Steadfast it's called, then Iron Willed, and then Worthy. Once you get to Worthy, you're pretty much done for the week and you'll get like the most rewards for that week, like your weekly rewards is maxed out once you hit the Worthy rank, which I've hit already. Uh. But then I look at the leader boards and I'm like, yeah, let's see where I am. And I get about three hundred thousand points racked up in these gauntlet runs, and everyone above me, like the the leaderboard number one is at one point two million points. I was like, oh my god, what the fuck? What is he running? Right? I go to click on his profile because they allowed you to view people's profile. The asshole has its set as private, so you can't even see his gear and anything like that. Right, I'm like, oh, and I checked the next guy. All the first one hundred guys all private. Right, why would they want obviously? Right, I'm like, son of a bitch. So I'm looking online and everyone's like the Sorcerer that everyone's using is fucking ball Lightning Sorcerer. Oh yeah, baby, that's what I was playing in Like the before season is exactly, like what the fuck? It's sweet, Like come on, like you're gonna have one that's completely crushes all the other classes, Like my Frost is not even close because you respect have you ever played ball Lightning? It's fun. Yeah, I'm gonna have to now if I'm gonna want to get a millions, you need to find that. That's the stuff. That's the thing. So I started a little chest. I started a little chest in my in my chest, I guess with chess with my lightning aspects and gearywhere close because I've been farming for my frost stuff right And the farming in this game, no wonder people are so pissed at this fuck. The farming is so ridiculous in this game. Like if you're not part of a guild that does farming like every day or like gets together in a group of four to do the farming, like, you're never gonna get anywhere because the way they have like the like the farming items. So this is how convoluted is Okay, try to stick try to stick with me. So there's the main boss whose name is Duriel. Okay, King of Maggots. Right. To get to Duriel, you have to farm two other bosses okay. To farm these two other bosses, you have to farm like two or three events. So it's like a laddering system. So you do hell tides to farm what's called living steel, Okay. Then you do world events to farm what's called mucous eggs. In short, okay, you get x amount of these, it's not one, like, you put these together, and then you go farm the next level up. So the hell Tide items, which are called living steel are used to summon Grigor. This boss Grigor okay. Grig Or then drops things called agony stones okay, and then the music the mucus eggs. You have to fight Varshan. No, you fight Varshant to get the mucus eggs, and then to summon Durial you need two of each of those. Like it's it's crazy. The amount of fucking farming is crazy. Just to summon one Durial if you're playing solo, if you're playing in a group of four, you get it four times as fast, right, So you'll call Grigor four times each, right, so if you have a group of four who has enough mats to summon grigor, once you get four times the amount of agony stones after grigor, et cetera. Right, So they're called rotations. So there's boss rotations. So you have to find a group, so you do a bunch of rotations and you you get out of that boss with four times the amount that you would be solo, right, and so on and so forth. So people are getting like thirty or forty rotations each for Duriel. Let's say, so you have the amount of mats to run Durial solo, like, let's say thirty times just solo. But if you can get into a group of four, right, it'd be three, six, nine, twelve, it'd be like one hundred and twenty times, et cetera. And then that's where you start getting the drops because of how many times you can run them. But if you're trying to fight Duriel solo, it's just such it's a waste of time because you can either you can try to find a group that does Durial rotations, but no one. The thing is, no one's doing that much anymore because they probably have their little guild that do what they do it with, right, So if you're solo player without a guild, like good, fuck and luck, it's kind of dumb because it seems so skewed in terms of like the capability are that of whatever choice choice the player decides to make, Like I'm gonna play this game solo. I don't really want to have to play with other PIDs in MMO. Yeah, well, but like the other I don't what I don't like, Well, I don't like that. But they can make it easier if like farming the bosses or farming the mats to some of the bosses is pretty stupid to begin with, but the amount of items that you have to farm to some of the bosses is very stupid. It should just be like one item farm this. You get one item to some in the boss one time. Some bosses you have to farm like seven items to some in the boss one time, or five items to you know what I mean. Like, it's so convoluted and ridiculous, Like you, what the fuck? It's so stupid. So if they were just be like, go to do the hell tides, Okay, farm the hell tides one living steel. One living steel will summon grigor once. All you have to do is that, Like that would be way better. No, instead of you gotta go farm hell tides to get seven or five living steel to summon grig Or once. Oh it's brutal. And then I'm like, Okay, I can summon grigor once by myself and then I'll get one agony stone after that, and I need two agony stone to summon durrels. So I have to fucking do that ladder again. You know what I mean? M very well, that's end game Diablo four. Yeah, Well, that whole grinding farm, Like, there's no way unless you have zero life or like a guild that does that together, that you're going to even touch the top ranks in the ladder system. So it's useless for me. I'll probably just stop that, probably stop. But like I thought I had it chance because of the No, it's the build. I don't have the right build because everyone's doing the ball. We're going to solo it. You said that's what you want to do, yeah, and Chris was like, oh, I can get I can get the high ranks. No, just the amount of farming. Well I guess I guess he's not taking you out to the restaurant. Yeah no, he's not taking me up, damn. But I did get the worthy rank for this week, so that's good. I'll stop there so I'll get my cash at the end of the week and I'll just do those worthy worthy runs and that's it, I suppose. Hmmm, well, now you know the more you know, a lot of people are complaining about the amount of grind, so hopefully they lessen it a bit. They have been doing pretty well with listening to the community, so I'm hoping that they just bring it down a notch because you could sit there for six hours and not even some in one boss. Yeah, it's brutal. Yeah, all right, what else you got? That's it? That's yep, Valhalla, Diablo four and wonderful, right, yeah, it's all. It's all coming to Dragon's Dogma two. You know, like right now there's like this there's this hole that needs to be filled, and I'm filling it with cheap and easy Diablo. You know, Valhallas done. I haven't played back in like two weeks. You should have come play war Zone with me and Nave garbage, So like Diable Diable four is just filling that hole for now. Whenever Dragon's Dogma drops. Oh my god, it's gonna be so good. Aaron from super Pod came when the channel and me and Nave were playing Oh yeah, I started streaming my screen, so Aaron was like watching me and and Nave was also streaming I guess on twitch, but Aaron was. He was like, holy fuck, this looks crazy because we were like we were playing duo and we were getting in some fucking shit, and like he was watching me and I'm fucking flicking around and like sliding around killing guys. He's like, oh my god, this this this. He's like, how big is this game? Yeah? And I'm like, oh, it's like only two hundred gigs or something like that, Like that's his whole series as Hard and he's like, oh, I can't download that, it's a drive. She is a little stupid here. It was funny though. Speaking of that night, I played with three separate like groups of people I played with. First I played with Nave, and then we kind of had enough and I was like, all right, I don't want to play this fucking game anymore, as I always do when playing that game. Then I leave, and then Steve and Greg come on and They're like, come on, let's play Warzone. I was like, fuck, I just literally quit playing with Nave and I was like, okay, So I go on and I play with them for like I don't know, an hour, and then we rage quit. It's like this game it sucks. And then like fifteen minutes later, Phil wanted to play. So I opted on with Phil and played a couple of times, and I was just like, what am I doing this second game? But yeah, that's just what I thought. I was out. They pulled me back game. Yeah, I was just three different, separate people like people playing Yikes, fuck that game. I'll be uh, speaking of Aaron from super Pot, I'll be playing some Smite with him on in the coming days. I haven't played with that might haven't played in a long time. I loved Smite. Me and Alma played Smite on and off like religiously for a little bit. Well that'll be fun jump back remember that. I think, Uh, yeah, that's it for game time for me. Anybody else spices cool. Oh dang, oh baby? Can you full probably imagine those graphics. That's what I'm wondering if they're they've got to do something different, right, because I heard I'm not gonna play it on PC. I started eight hours into I already they might give you an exclusive thing or like itemmers. I don't thin they're gonna what are they gonna do differently? What do you mean? That's what I mean? So I heard the Horizon games looked better on PC, Like they gave some enhancements on the Horizon games, like the Dinosaur Robot game. So I'm wondering if they're gonna do a little bit of a tweak and buff up on this because the p S five version looked fucking sweet. If this looks better in any way, Oh man, you very clears are in for a tree But yeah, I probably won't buy it, but it's on PC now, guys. This is this is a must now on PC if you can get your hands on May sixteenth, twenty twenty nice. Nice, well, good to know. Yeah. Next up is Dragon's Dogma two. Performance has been mapped and benchmarked a bit from the demos they released, not to the public. They didn't release demos to the public, but like to the magazine people. So this one's from RGJ dot com. I don't know magazine people. So Dragon's Takua two will feature uncapped frame rate performance around thirty fps or above on consoles, so I'm assuming they're just gonna try to make it so it doesn't drop under thirty fps right. Uncapped this means the frame rate could run higher than thirty frames per second on consoles such as places five Xbox series experts. You need to have v doesn't that mean? Yeah, so you'll probably be locked at thirty Yeah if you don't. If you don't have you it's uno. The games developer or president or whatever did not provide specific details on how high the performance rate can go, so he's probably gonna go up and down. Digital Foundries Alexander Pataglia said that the drops to twenty five fps seen in the new footage shared online yesterday March fifth. When I read this, suggest that the drops are caused by the game's four K checkerboard resolution, but not by CPU limitations. By reducing the resolution to fourteen forty P, an optional thirty fps cap should be possible to achieve a more consistent frame rate. Additionally, sixty fps could not be achieved on console due to their slow CPS. So yeah, you're probably just gonna get a ten ADP to fourteen forty P thirty fps mode. Probably fourteen forty P thirty fps on PS five series. I'm gonna I'm gonna look into it. And they got trailers, gameplay trailers. Oh yeah, man, Okay, it looks fantastic. Even it looks fantastic just on the demos, like fighting the monsters and stuff like that. But when I was searching, I can't find a solid mention of the resolution which it will be displaying at. But this post and my big brain, i'd say they're going for a dynamic resolution targeting fourteen forty P locked at thirty fps. As long as they can make that thirty fps like digestible and it doesn't fluctuate, I think that'll be okay for most people. It has been done. Okay, let's not forget devs can nail those thirty fps modes like Cyberpunk, true, but not every dev is CDP. But you can play with your motion settings on your TV too and kind of get a little make it look a little bit smoother depending on your TV. But it yeah, which now horrible, Like thirty fps is it's been a bare minimum obviously still but but like dropping under that, you're gonna feel that if it drops, like if it drops to twenty five. Oh yeah, you're gonna feel that for sure. Horrible. That is horrible, you guys, sure that's on it. That's unacceptable, which brings me in like if you're playing that on a next gen exactly like a twenty even thirty fps, in my opinion is is unacceptable, Like I would never accept thirty fps on PC, like if I was playing a game, no fucking way, which brings me into my next news article. See we're going through this quickly. It's okay. PS four Pro release date rumors p li from GamesRadar dot com PS five pro. GamesRadar dot com said, PS four Pro did i PS five Pro release date rumors. This is from GamesRadar dot com. Okay, rumor mill is spinning boys. Essentially, signs are currently pointed to a late twenty twenty four release date for Sony's next generation console, with leaks from the publisher dev Kits and the brand's own roadmap hints fueling the fire words started to PS five Yeah. Word started to spread when Sony's Q three financial results were published on February fourteenth, twenty twenty four, stating that the PS five was now in the later or latter half of the console cycle aka just about the time in the PS four's life when the pro was released. What are they going to do with the pro? Right? These raised eyebrows were met with even more rumors once Colin Moriarty cited his own publishing sources when stating that the brand is looking for a Q four twenty twenty four PS five Pro release date. This calling guy is on another PS like he's on a Sony podcast. Guy, I guess yeah, And episode two ninety five of the Sacred Symbols podcast, Marty already explained the following. I was told explicitly by someone that works at a mid size third party publisher that they were given a presentation for the PS five PRO, and I said in the past two that I understand that the first parties and second parties have already had access to. If not the kids, then the speck of what they're aiming for. End quote. Now for the trolls take what do you guys think would it be possible for a PS five Pro this Christmas? Oh? I don't know about the when, but the what is it? Like? What could they possibly be aiming for? Because if it's because if it's more powerful and it's a better console than what they're going to make now two version of every game again, like and why not just come out with the next No, next console? See, I don't. This is what I'm seeing is what all these games a little bit better, a little bit better? Okay, so what you'll get sixty fps in these games? Yeah, but you'll need an extra they'll have to make a different version. Like no, I don't think they're five pro enhanced version. Yeah, well no, I think you'll just get those frames where you're losing it. So they don't they won't be an extra version. No, I don't think they'll have an extra version any different than when the PS four Pro was out and they you would play a game that wasn't a PS four Pro enhanced game on it, Like I feel like your performance would just be better automatically, but it wouldn't be like anything exclusive to that model if they lock, if the game is locked in the code to thirtyeth yes, I don't know. It's not an uncapped game like maybe the uncapped games. Yeah, they'll run faster, they'll run at sixty And maybe that's where games are up and that's where we're getting now, this Dragon's Dog with maybe their uncappiness because whenever a new console addition or version comes out, that uncapped frame is going to go up right when you play it on this new console, which is cool. Yes, would also be a game exactly on exactly so you know and have that we've been seeing is these games are getting lower res, lower performance takes benchmarks the more we go on. Like Hell Divers two on the box it says ten edp sixty fps on the fucking box, it tells you that, yeah, PS five like unbelievable, year is it? Yeah, unbelievable. I was saying that the drop, the drop of the PS five pro it's probably gonna be what I was saying earlier. I remember remember when we were watching the GTA six trailer, I was like, this game, man, I gotta buy one not gonna have exactly right. This game is gonna drow up whenever the new iterations of the consoles are coming out, or very close to it. So the GTA sixth release date is now expected between January and April twenty twenty five. So maybe maybe the rumors are true. The PS five Pro will drop for Christmas and then the next month you're gonna get GTA six. Yeah, all those ten year olds getting GTA six with their PS five Pro for Christmas? Christmas? Yeah, how many people are getting in PS five? Is the PSFO? Is the PS five Pro needed? I say yes with what we've been seeing, Oh yeah, I mean hit defeat better consoles need to definitely definitely needed. I think like it's going to be expensive though, holy crap. Yeah, oh yeah, Well will they provide us with a fucking console that will hit four K sixty fps? I don't think so. No. I don't think this is even even with the PSFI Pro. I don't think it's going to be able to do four K sixty Make my words, Julian right here, right now. Don't see you're going to be fourteen forty P sixty. See what improves they'll be able to add that will harness that that could be able to facilitate that there's nonewhere like one thousand bucks. No way the improvements are going to be that many that thousands that it'll allow that I wouldn't pay a thousand for it, No, I mean under a thousand, you know, a four K sixty console under like a thousand bucks is difficult. I think it would be, especially if they're using AMD, so I'll use that frame generation. Yeah, that's another thing. Are they going to be putting that in? Like? What also I don't understand is how the console market hasn't pushed more FSR stuff, you know, like the games coming out for the PC that are also on the consoles. Like why isn't FSR three baked into these games for console players? I don't understand that. Yeah, that is a that would be huge, Like it's a huge thing, Like why are you not doing this? Although it just kind of came out so start three frame gen But a lot of studios use their own upscaling stuff too, like the whole checkerboard thing that a lot of Sony studios use. Yeah, but like again I don't think it's it's always gonna be upscaling for consoles. We're not ps FI Pro is not gonna do native four K sixty. It's just not gonna do it. Not gonna do it. So on the boxes with no sure, no way, oh sure, and getting it for six hundred to seven hundred dollars. Like, man, I wonder what that. I wonder what that's gonna be like, because if you think you're gonna get four K sixty from the next ps FI Pro or the Series X Pro, it's gonna be a fourteen forty P sixty fps box. That's so it's gonna be due. And I've been playing fourteen forty P sixty fps for like ten years on PC. That's true. Come on, come on, I've been paying fourteen forty for exactly the years. But like I think, now, like the games that come out looking like Dragon's Dogma two, I'm getting it on PC, getting on PC. Well, there you go. It's nice. Yep, that's all done. That's it. That was pretty good, pretty good little recinc episode for you folks. And I think that's it for this week, so thanks for watching or listening. I guess this won't be on YouTube.
