00:00 --> 00:07 Redemption is spelt g p. Hidden gems, part two. Today on.
00:25 --> 00:27 The fuck are you doing at my house?
00:29 --> 00:43 No breaking and entering during the song. Wow. Everybody. Hello and welcome back to a very special episode of Press B to cancel. Before we get started, I'm going to pass it over to our good friend sick Jake to say a few words.
00:45 --> 00:48 First off, am I seriously the only one who's not in charge house today?
00:48 --> 00:48 Yeah. What do you mean?
00:48 --> 00:51 Apparently, we invited everyone.
00:52 --> 00:57 I didn't even make it into my house. I didn't know we were doing this tonight. Thank you. Thanks for the MVP.
00:57 --> 00:58 I mentioned this, too.
00:58 --> 01:01 Aha. That's fine. We're prepped.
01:05 --> 01:07 I heard you got a catch.
01:07 --> 01:07 I love it.
01:07 --> 01:11 To meet all of you. That was great.
01:11 --> 02:15 All right, guys, before we get started in the episode, so last week for our 200th episode, we did Yakuza, me and Wolf, and it was a pre recorded one, so we kind of missed a bit of a milestone. So we're gonna do it at 201. Press B has been around for, I think, four years now, and we're up to 201 episodes. That is absolutely insane. Most podcasts don't last ten. We've somehow got to 201. Well, 205 if you can't. Some of our earlier stuff that we did. Tapis fantastic. And we would not be doing it this long if it wasn't such great fun to do with friends, but also people watching, like you at home or listening to our podcast. So if you've been with us, you know, since the beginning four years ago, or you're recently watching us on YouTube or heard from a friend, we greatly appreciate it. Folks, this is awesome that we've been around for so long. Shows like this don't go on without word of mouth and people who drop the likes and the follows and all that support, it's just been so great that you guys have been doing that for us, and we really do appreciate it. So before we start this episode this week, just want to say thank you. This has been great to have the support, and we're just so happy to be doing this for as long as we have been. And here's hoping we do 200 more.
02:16 --> 02:26 Yeah, absolutely. I believe this is the 156th episode with Chard and with. With Sinistar. And this is my 61st episode.
02:26 --> 02:28 You'll leave me in? Fuck yeah.
02:28 --> 02:36 Wonderful. And big shout outs to Zimbabwe. Yes. And everybody out there, Zimbabwe, we still love you. All the countries where we've tracked number.
02:37 --> 02:46 Five still love you, Zimbabwe. Hey, Ken, the next time we do a 200th and one episode or a 400th? One episode. Can I get a fucking call, please? That'd be great. Thanks.
02:47 --> 02:49 Yeah, we're probably going to host it at your house again.
02:49 --> 02:52 Yeah, clearly, it's me.
02:53 --> 02:55 This is. This is wonderful.
02:55 --> 02:55 Yeah.
02:56 --> 04:24 Very, very well stated. Okay, well, let's. Let's dive into this. I want to give some background for any viewers or listeners who are not familiar with the lore of what the hidden gems episodes means. Of the 201 episodes, I believe this is the second or the 9th time we've done hidden gems, where we discussed games that we love, that feel we most people don't appreciate or otherwise is unheard of. Or maybe it's a great game that didn't move a lot of units, that sort of thing. Last time we did this, I believe the technical term is shit the bed by choosing a small, little known game called Final Fantasy Tactics that I thought was a solid pick. But the other 80% of the podcast, and damn near every listener said, no, that's the stupid pick. Everybody knows this game. Everybody loves this game. It's not at all a hidden gem. It's just a gem. So I had to do about ten months. I'd been fired for a while. Let's just call it what it was. And you guys eventually let me come back. Thank you. So that explains the opener line of today. Redemption is spelled GP. So I've got a hidden gem, and I think it's going to be great to discuss. I am very excited to hear about your all's picks. Lesser known games that are fun, and I don't want to go first in case my gem is better known than I thought. So I will ask for volunteers who would like to go first. Sinister.
04:24 --> 04:25 Yeah.
04:26 --> 04:26 Okay.
04:26 --> 04:42 So I've got a bunch of hours in this game, and I'm really surprised it doesn't get the joy that it should get. I think it's only sold well. I think it's less than 100 units.
04:42 --> 04:43 Oh, perfect. Okay.
04:43 --> 05:02 Yeah, yeah. So, um, and it is a franchise, which is really surprising as well. So my franchise pick is, um. Well, um, Borderlands. Uh, and specifically borderlands two. Um, have you guys ever played one more time?
05:02 --> 05:04 One more time? Yeah.
05:04 --> 05:06 Borderlands two.
05:06 --> 05:07 Borderlands. I don't.
05:08 --> 05:09 I'm not familiar with Borderlands.
05:10 --> 05:10 Yeah. Okay.
05:10 --> 05:12 That's one I haven't played yet.
05:12 --> 05:43 Well, so it's a little known genre called looter shooters. Yeah. Okay, so basically, the. The whole goal of this game is to basically shoot and get better weapons. And there's a randomization of the weapons, but it also has a fantastic story. So if you're looking for a good game with a good story and you're looking for something lesser known, go for Borderlands two.
05:44 --> 05:45 Interesting.
05:45 --> 05:55 I love indie games. I'm pretty excited about this one. Is there anything unique about this one? Outside of the fact that it's a looter shooter, is there anything that makes it stand out?
05:55 --> 06:01 Well, yeah, it's kind of a cel shader kind of view. Um, okay. Yeah.
06:01 --> 06:02 Kind of cartoony.
06:02 --> 06:04 Um, yeah.
06:04 --> 06:06 And they did a franchise off this, you said?
06:06 --> 06:13 Yeah. I mean, I'm really surprised. It's. It's a company that I don't think anybody really knows called gearbox.
06:14 --> 06:18 Yeah. Okay.
06:18 --> 06:22 And, yeah, they're just the news k games. Have you ever heard of two k?
06:22 --> 06:22 Yeah.
06:22 --> 06:25 Oh, yeah. I know two k. Okay. Those are basketball guys.
06:26 --> 06:52 Okay, well, so the premise is you basically are kind of dropped on this planet. You're looking for a vault. You're a vault hunter. Technically, the main enemy is fucking awesome. He decides to name a unicorn or a horse. I'm sorry. Not a unicorn, but a horse made of diamonds. He names it.
06:53 --> 06:53 But.
06:53 --> 06:55 Stallion letter. Yeah.
06:56 --> 06:58 Fantastic name for an animal. Yeah.
06:59 --> 07:02 Ready? Player one. Which is RPo.
07:02 --> 07:03 Oh, very much. Very much.
07:03 --> 07:04 Okay.
07:04 --> 07:09 Yeah, it has the. The storyline is compelling.
07:09 --> 07:10 The.
07:10 --> 07:14 There's a. There's a death of a character. Not you, but, like, one of the.
07:15 --> 07:17 Death of you kind of rips you apart.
07:19 --> 07:22 Well, yeah, no, yeah, that was my very short game.
07:23 --> 07:43 And lots of times, actually. I mean, let's be honest. It's a. It's a. It's a shooter. Right. But there's also driving in this game, which is some of the best element of this game. I mean, I'm really surprised it didn't get the. The fanfare that it should have.
07:44 --> 07:45 Interesting. Border. Border.
07:46 --> 07:47 Borderlands.
07:47 --> 07:49 Borderlands. Yeah.
07:49 --> 07:51 I thought you said order land moves.
07:51 --> 08:02 Yeah. You talk about. You talk about looter shooters or shooter looters. And I immediately think of a pretty well known game called Blaster Master. Or Master Blaster. It's one of the two.
08:02 --> 08:03 Right.
08:03 --> 08:06 So I assume this is just kind of an updated version of.
08:06 --> 08:07 Oh, very much so.
08:08 --> 08:15 I didn't play the second one, but I think the first one, you could actually color your vehicle in a. In an homage to the blaster master tank.
08:17 --> 08:22 Oh, very cool. Do you fry giant space frogs in this particular version?
08:23 --> 08:26 I remember in the first one, there was a giant space lobster or crab.
08:28 --> 08:29 Lobster.
08:33 --> 08:43 There are these things called bullymongs that you have to figure out the name for. Yeah, that's a fun.
08:43 --> 08:44 And I know what they're called.
08:44 --> 09:05 Spoiler, right? Bully moms. Okay. I can't believe this one flew under my radar. This sounds. Typically, I keep my fingers on the pulse of these sorts of things. Yeah, and to find out that border collies was. Was something that exists and has sequels, I'm taking it back.
09:05 --> 09:06 Interesting.
09:06 --> 09:08 This is outer space.
09:09 --> 09:10 I mean, you're on a planet.
09:11 --> 09:13 We're all on a planet specifically.
09:13 --> 09:28 But there is a space station that shoots things. There's a space station that shoots things at the planet. So a little bit of a Star wars elder on, sure, but less destructive.
09:29 --> 09:31 Alder gone elder.
09:31 --> 09:32 God Elder. Bye bye.
09:32 --> 09:41 Yeah, I'm just looking at my mind palace, and it looks like they're actually making a Borderlands movie, which is kind of weird.
09:41 --> 09:43 Wow. Okay, did you see the cast for this?
09:44 --> 09:47 I guess we haven't heard before. Kevin Hart.
09:47 --> 09:49 Kevin Lee Curtis.
09:49 --> 09:51 Who? Jamie Lee Hart.
09:51 --> 09:52 It's crazy.
09:54 --> 09:55 Jim Carrey.
09:55 --> 09:56 Sonic.
09:56 --> 09:57 Must be a canadian actor.
09:57 --> 09:59 Must be canadian, yeah.
09:59 --> 10:00 Documentary, you said? Interesting.
10:00 --> 10:02 Yeah, interesting.
10:02 --> 10:03 Real life vault hunting.
10:03 --> 10:05 Yeah. Border frogs, too. Okay.
10:05 --> 10:09 Border frog blasters, too. Gollies.
10:10 --> 10:13 So really, they're making a movie out of this? Yeah, yeah.
10:14 --> 10:16 Specifically, I think, Borderlands, too.
10:17 --> 10:21 So they're making the. Okay, will the movie be called Borderlands two, or is it.
10:21 --> 10:23 It should be, if it's not.
10:23 --> 10:24 That way, they can do a prequel.
10:25 --> 10:26 Borderlands two, the sequel.
10:27 --> 10:31 Yeah. More units. Go ahead, Jake. Sorry.
10:31 --> 10:33 They just never make the first one.
10:33 --> 10:33 Just.
10:33 --> 10:34 Just make more lands two and never.
10:34 --> 10:36 Like what they did with Nes. Right.
10:37 --> 10:38 That's what they should do.
10:39 --> 10:40 Right, exactly.
10:40 --> 10:41 Like, start with the sequel.
10:41 --> 10:46 I mean, let's be honest. Was there a Terminator one movie?
10:46 --> 10:51 Not that I'm aware of. That sounds like a hidden gem.
10:51 --> 10:52 Yeah.
10:53 --> 10:56 You're sticking on the box with Terminator three. Just didn't exist, huh?
10:56 --> 10:57 Exactly.
10:57 --> 11:00 Yeah. Yeah. That one hit wonder. Terminator two.
11:00 --> 11:00 Yeah.
11:02 --> 11:04 Spawn. No prequels or sequel series.
11:05 --> 11:09 Hey, hey. When you're good once, you're good once, I'll be back.
11:10 --> 11:23 Oh, okay. So Borderlands two. Yeah. Okay. The whole franchise. Yeah. Is a hidden gem. Yeah. Interesting.
11:23 --> 11:28 Well, okay, I'm looking at my palace. It looks like there was a prequel that didn't. Didn't do so hot.
11:28 --> 11:29 Oh, no.
11:29 --> 11:30 Okay.
11:32 --> 11:32 Yeah.
11:32 --> 11:34 Blaster master for the NES.
11:34 --> 11:34 Blastmaster.
11:34 --> 11:41 Yeah. Okay, real quick, though, wolf, because I know that is one of your favorite games. It is. Blaster master, right. Not master Blaster master.
11:41 --> 11:49 Blaster is right. Thunderdome. Blaster Master is the video game.
11:54 --> 12:02 And trying to figure out the name. I really want people to play that quest, and I'm not going to spoil it because it's glorious.
12:02 --> 12:03 I can't.
12:05 --> 12:10 Yeah, I assume there's not a lot of games that carry it. If there are indeed physical.
12:10 --> 12:16 And I mean, this. This game is short. It's like 2 hours.
12:16 --> 12:23 Okay, so what's the. What platform is this on? Like, how recent, how old is this? It's not an NES game. I would have heard of that. SNES maybe.
12:23 --> 12:30 I expect. I mean, it was pc, but I expect it was probably 360 and probably.
12:30 --> 12:32 Ps three was the same era as.
12:32 --> 12:33 The three or 460.
12:35 --> 12:36 It's practically brand new.
12:36 --> 12:37 Yeah.
12:37 --> 12:38 So maybe it'll pick up.
12:38 --> 12:40 Yeah, it might get some.
12:40 --> 12:41 Maybe it's just a lull.
12:41 --> 13:28 Maybe it's in a lull also, guys, I want to. If I may, I want to interject here and introduce something. A couple of weeks ago, a few episodes ago, we did an episode on a new game called Balatro, or bilateral, however you decide to say it, which recently, congratulations, passed the 1 million units sold, so therefore it's disqualified from being a hidden gem. I do want to say to the creators of ballot Row, if you're watching or listening, we did do an episode pretty early on, and then I'm sure you saw your sales numbers go up. We gave you what I'm calling the ballot row bump. So trademark. If. If anybody out there wants us to ever, you know, hype up their game and get their own ballot row bump, send me to bump.
13:28 --> 13:39 Press me to bump, you know, there you go. You could call it the weird owl of podcasts because he also gave musicians with his music. Watch the documentary. It's all.
13:39 --> 13:44 Sure, yeah. Very cool. Okay, so anyway, back to. Back to borderlands. Press b to borderlands.
13:44 --> 13:45 Yeah.
13:46 --> 13:46 Okay.
13:46 --> 13:47 That's a good one.
13:47 --> 13:48 Has co op.
13:48 --> 13:49 Play nice.
13:49 --> 13:49 Okay.
13:50 --> 13:52 You can play with friends, your friends. And it's great.
13:53 --> 13:56 You don't have to break into their House to play the game with them.
13:56 --> 14:00 Well, that's awkward, but yes, you want to. It helps.
14:00 --> 14:03 It helps if you just wanted to play, man. Just fucking marco polo.
14:03 --> 14:06 Yeah. Chart. Chart. Are you being Held against your will?
14:06 --> 14:11 Blink once for yes, we're borderlands against his will.
14:11 --> 14:11 Yeah.
14:11 --> 14:32 Yeah. Nice. Okay. Very cool. Okay, well, hey, for anybody who's listening, please feel free to join our discord. Let's talk about. Have you heard of the Borderlands series or franchise? Is it on your hidden gems list? Let us know what you think. We'll put the spelling in discord in case somebody is not familiar or least one word. Borderlands.
14:33 --> 14:34 Well, two is a separate word.
14:34 --> 14:35 Oh, okay.
14:36 --> 14:37 See, I would have BRought it.
14:37 --> 14:38 Good point.
14:38 --> 14:42 Is that the Roman numerals? Is it aye or is it the assistant final Fantasy?
14:42 --> 14:45 Okay, they're not very important. That classy.
14:45 --> 14:45 Very important.
14:45 --> 14:46 You want.
14:46 --> 14:55 It's like the superman, the movie. You know, you gotta do the tune. Okay, well, let's in the same household chart. Would you like to.
14:55 --> 15:02 That's Superman two and three. But there's only good one, right?
15:02 --> 15:10 Wow, that's. That's gonna be content when I just go off and talk about the Superman movies that I love and adore.
15:10 --> 15:14 I thought Superman four was the only Superman movie worth watching. But question. I digress.
15:14 --> 15:15 Yeah.
15:16 --> 15:19 Isn't that where the space wheels are? No, that's Star Trek.
15:20 --> 15:26 That was the best of the Star Treks, though. It's the return, never mind pay. Well.
15:26 --> 15:56 All right, well, okay, so I already know everybody's. Everybody's gonna fucking haha. Charts gonna pick. Elden Ring is his hidden gem. Ha ha ha. Yeah, that's not happening tonight, guys. Okay, so let's. Before everybody fucking thinks that Elden ring is gonna make an appearance on our little hidden gems episode. It's not. Okay, I got a real good hidden gem for you guys. We're gonna go with the Dark Souls series. A game called Dark Souls. Specifically, dark souls. Three.
15:56 --> 15:57 Okay.
15:57 --> 16:01 Dark souls, similar creator.
16:01 --> 16:04 Dark souls.
16:04 --> 16:05 Dark souls. Dark.
16:06 --> 16:10 Yeah, I've heard you. Yeah, I've seen you play before. Two words.
16:10 --> 16:13 One let, one number. And it's the three. It's not roman.
16:13 --> 16:14 Okay.
16:15 --> 16:38 So in this, you are a person that has been brought back from the dead. And your goal is to follow this very vibrant and extremely fleshed out and easily to follow a storyline to defeat difficult bosses and rekindle the flames of the city and the world around you. It's extremely great.
16:38 --> 16:40 You're a zombie bringing about the apocalypse.
16:43 --> 16:43 Essentially.
16:43 --> 16:44 You're.
16:44 --> 16:47 You're trying to reset the apology over your way.
16:47 --> 16:48 Gotcha.
16:48 --> 16:56 You're just gonna. Basically, you're waking up from the dead to hit the reset button on the world computer. That's essentially.
16:56 --> 16:59 And cut once more from the top. This time, take off your shirt.
16:59 --> 17:55 Yeah, exactly. Now let's do it again, but this time with feeling or feelings. Feel more. Yeah, that's all right. You broke in. You get what you get. Yeah. It's known. It's a little difficult. It's a little bit of a struggle to play through, but you get infinite lives and you get to resurrect at little, little fire pits throughout the little barbecue. Fire pits throughout the. Throughout the realms. But every time you die, you have to go and find your body and get all the stuff you dropped. So that's where the challenge is. Most of the levels are fairly easy to go through. The bosses are kind of a cakewalk, but it's known for its difficulty. But I don't think a lot of people have played any of the Dark Souls, specifically. Dark Souls three. It's got a couple DLC to make the game a little bit longer. It's a good time. I would highly recommend that anybody. What do you got, sister?
17:55 --> 17:58 This game has three.
17:58 --> 18:00 It has three games. It has three games in the franchise.
18:01 --> 18:05 Interesting, that, but so many kind of deep cuts are getting so many sequels.
18:05 --> 18:05 Yeah.
18:05 --> 18:12 You know when you try once and you fail twice and then you gotta take another swig? You know what I mean? This is kind of like this.
18:12 --> 18:14 This is what my dad having five kids. Yeah.
18:14 --> 18:15 You know.
18:15 --> 18:16 Yeah.
18:16 --> 18:19 One of these is gonna be the baseball player or it's gotta be.
18:22 --> 18:22 Sure.
18:22 --> 18:27 One of them is gonna be Superman. Quest for peace. It just takes four of them. That's all. It's takes four.
18:27 --> 18:31 Sometimes you gotta tee up the ball so you can hit it over the fence. It's what it is.
18:31 --> 18:33 I'm not great with sports metaphors.
18:33 --> 18:34 No.
18:34 --> 18:42 Okay. That's. No, I tried one once, but that's what we call in football a whiff and a big time with. I do like the sport, though.
18:43 --> 18:46 They also, in tennis, call it par out.
18:46 --> 18:46 That's.
18:46 --> 18:47 That's what they call.
18:47 --> 18:51 Okay, all right. That's what I would call a meaty deuce.
18:51 --> 18:54 What's. What's a metaphor?
18:54 --> 18:56 Don't worry about it. We'll talk about it later.
18:56 --> 19:00 It's another sequel, you might know. Meta three. It's meta three.
19:00 --> 19:02 It's the fourth one in the series.
19:02 --> 19:03 Came before meta five.
19:04 --> 19:04 All right.
19:04 --> 19:05 Anyway. Okay.
19:05 --> 19:08 Rip off of Elden Ring, then chart. Is this like a ring like.
19:08 --> 19:19 Or did they kill. The idea of it is a ring like game. Yes, it's very much ring light game, but. But it came before ring light. You almost say that. That elden ring. It's the chicken and the egg scenario.
19:19 --> 19:19 Right?
19:19 --> 19:45 Like, which came first kind of thing. Dark souls did come first by age. It's sold. It's not all right. I mean, it's sold quite a bit. I mean, it's. It's still fairly relatively played, but I don't think. I still think it's. It's starting to gain traction with three. It's a shame. The first two are fantastic as well. And I think dark souls three is definitely a hidden gem that people should go and check out.
19:45 --> 19:46 Well, let's hope that we can.
19:47 --> 19:48 Why three and not two?
19:49 --> 19:58 Three and not two? Well, three's got better graphics. You know, it looks nicer. It's okay. Mechanics are a little more fleshed out.
19:58 --> 19:59 All about that graphics.
19:59 --> 20:08 It's all about that graphics. Like, if you really wanted to treat your eyeballs, you know, get dark souls three, otherwise, the other two are great. The other two good, too.
20:08 --> 20:27 So here's a question for you. Yeah. You had mentioned you get infinite lives, but whenever you die, you can collect your swag that you had collected, but you got to find your previous corpse. And go and go for that. Do you find each one of your previous corpses? Like, if you've died, let's say, like, 20 times, are there 19 of you that you can go out there and.
20:28 --> 20:29 Oh, no, no.
20:29 --> 20:32 Or your previous one would have already robbed all the previous ones.
20:32 --> 20:46 Pretty much. If you're going to find your body, right, and you've got, I don't know, you collect souls, but we'll just say it's kind of like cash. So you have, like, $8 on your body and you die, you could just consider it all gone.
20:46 --> 20:46 It's.
20:46 --> 20:47 It's not.
20:47 --> 20:48 You got it? Is that canadian?
20:48 --> 20:49 It's canadian.
20:49 --> 20:50 It's canadian. Okay.
20:50 --> 20:51 It's definitely dark souls.
20:51 --> 20:54 Must be a canadian game because nobody's heard of it. Yeah.
20:55 --> 20:58 And when you get killed, it says sorry across the board.
20:59 --> 20:59 It does.
21:01 --> 21:03 So I look good. Trade champ.
21:04 --> 21:12 I look this up in my mind palace and this. This from software?
21:12 --> 21:13 Yeah. From soft. Yeah.
21:13 --> 21:16 Has another hidden gem called bloodborne.
21:16 --> 21:17 Bloodborne's another one.
21:18 --> 21:26 Now, as I'm looking at my notes, sinister is already gone, so I'm just busting your balls.
21:26 --> 21:27 Wow.
21:27 --> 21:28 Yeah, wow.
21:28 --> 21:30 No, no, come back. Come back. I love you. You.
21:31 --> 21:33 Is that how you get intruders out of your house?
21:33 --> 21:34 Just.
21:34 --> 21:35 Just tell them they're gone?
21:35 --> 21:38 You offer them beverages. Chart. I don't know.
21:39 --> 21:42 Well, if you're gonna represent, represent.
21:42 --> 21:46 Oh, my God. Oh, my God. And what is that? Cream soda. It is.
21:46 --> 21:48 It's the only doctor that matters.
21:48 --> 21:53 That is. That sounds so thick. That's like diesel. Is there chunks in it?
21:53 --> 21:53 Look.
21:53 --> 21:54 Yes.
21:54 --> 21:56 T h I c c. You think.
21:56 --> 21:59 That'S thick, you should feel the must in this room right now.
21:59 --> 22:04 Thankfully, I do not. People I know have heard of your little deep cut doctor pepper.
22:04 --> 22:07 Do feel the must in this room right now. I think we all do.
22:07 --> 22:09 You say that like we're not all five. There.
22:10 --> 22:13 The wind crack a window. It's getting humid.
22:13 --> 22:15 Wait, where's GP.
22:15 --> 22:17 And they're in there. Don't worry. It's a big room.
22:17 --> 22:38 Okay. Alternate phases of reality for anybody who's listening in. For everybody who's listening in. Charred sinistar, sick. Jake and werewolf are all four in the same room. I live so far away, I couldn't make it. So I spent so much money recreating the background to make it look like I'm in the room with them.
22:38 --> 22:40 So you had to kick out a whole wall and everything?
22:41 --> 22:46 Yes. And finding idea how many mariners caps I had to buy.
22:47 --> 22:51 Well, one. I only have two in this room.
22:51 --> 22:52 Well, I bought three.
22:52 --> 22:59 I mean, how many, like, final Fantasy things did you have to get to also? Bingo.
22:59 --> 23:16 Yeah, some of those final fantasies. Deep cuts, if I may say so. We had borderlands, if I'm recalling my notes correctly. And now we're having dark souls. Yeah, dark souls. Specifically the third one. Have there been any other entries after three?
23:16 --> 23:33 It's almost a roguelike kind of game, really. I mean, you know, you've got to improve as you keep playing, but if you die, you start from the beginning. Um, I'm pretty sure. I. I'm pretty sure three was the last swing and they weren't going to make any more beyond that, from what I'm being told.
23:33 --> 23:35 I think from low.
23:35 --> 23:44 Yeah, it's pretty low. So I don't know if they. They ventured on to something different. Um, they did make Elden ring, which is. It's doing all right. It's doing pretty good.
23:45 --> 23:47 And you think people did bloodborne?
23:47 --> 23:48 They did, yeah, they did.
23:48 --> 23:50 Which I haven't heard of. I'll have to look into that one as well.
23:50 --> 23:51 That's another.
23:51 --> 23:54 That'll be my deep cut next time. It should. I'll write that down.
23:55 --> 23:59 Right. There's actually a D make version of that, too, that you probably get it.
23:59 --> 24:03 It didn't sell well. It was on a console that nobody bought.
24:03 --> 24:04 It was on the PS four.
24:04 --> 24:05 PlayStation four.
24:05 --> 24:06 It's right back here.
24:06 --> 24:12 Whoa. I don't. I don't know how to break this to you, but the PS four sold moderately fine.
24:13 --> 24:14 No, no.
24:14 --> 24:19 Like 100 units. I have to say, most of Japan.
24:19 --> 24:23 You think it's probably in the same realm as tactics.
24:23 --> 24:39 I'm just. Yeah, I feel like a lot of the stuff, I. Swing and a miss again. Another meaty deuce, as we were talking about in tennis terms. I. But, yeah, that was my high school nice? Tennis?
24:39 --> 24:39 Yes.
24:39 --> 24:40 No.
24:40 --> 24:52 Tennis. The menace. No meaty dudes. That makes more sense. But no, this is why I love these episodes, because you guys talk about all the games. I've never heard of your borderlands, you know, your PlayStation fours.
24:52 --> 24:54 So few people have.
24:54 --> 25:05 Yeah. So this is great. And again, hopefully we'll get to see the sales numbers for these games go up as we're raising awareness, their awareness for these. These games, their awareness.
25:05 --> 25:07 2024.
25:07 --> 25:14 And in the interest of continuing on, we're going to go clockwise, if that's okay. And we'll go with werewolf next.
25:14 --> 25:33 So I know, I know there was a lot of excitement with the first one, but I really got to show some love for the second one here. This is a little known sequel to a game made by Bungie. It's called Hallo two.
25:33 --> 25:34 Oh.
25:35 --> 25:38 Hollow from the other side.
25:39 --> 25:40 Mahalo.
25:41 --> 25:42 I think so, yes.
25:42 --> 25:43 I got you.
25:43 --> 25:54 A lot of people love the first one, the multiplayer. I think there was a lack of interest in the second one because they put it back on earth for a while. It was not on a halo, it was on earth.
25:54 --> 25:57 And so never, never put a game back.
25:57 --> 26:11 It does eventually find its way back to, you know, this. This circular world that they. They like to show off. In the first one, the Mahalo holo. Mahalo. It does pick up again now.
26:12 --> 26:12 It's.
26:12 --> 26:37 It's. They also introduced new aliens that were not present in the first game, I think, and so that might have messed with people too. So I know there was a lot of interest that really fell off. But it's a really good game. The multiplayer is so much fun. I used to play one on one with my friend because there were nobody else playing, so it would just be me and him online and, you know, we'd have grenade fights and huck them at each other blindly.
26:37 --> 26:41 And was it just you two playing?
26:41 --> 26:44 Because it's so, so rare?
26:44 --> 26:48 Yeah, this is interesting. This sounds like a game I used to really enjoy.
26:49 --> 26:51 Holo. Holo.
26:51 --> 27:05 Well, interestingly, this is the one I'm thinking of is called Halo, which I think sold decently. But holo two, maybe that. Like one of those ones in Labyrinth, like. Oh, hello.
27:05 --> 27:07 Okay. From the other side, right?
27:07 --> 27:13 Yeah, it's like an Aldi brand. Yeah, it sounds like maybe is this.
27:13 --> 27:16 One we have hollow at home. Yes, it's hallow at home.
27:17 --> 27:22 Yeah, Halo is the canadian pronunciation, GP. So maybe. Maybe you played it when you're up here visiting again.
27:23 --> 27:33 Yeah, with these deep cuts, with these gems. I'm showing my ass and I, you know, I don't mind admitting I'm out of the loop with a lot of these. So the education I appreciate.
27:34 --> 27:34 They're very sorry.
27:35 --> 27:40 We have another sequel with Hallow. Two. How many entries do we have in this one? Or was two.
27:41 --> 28:06 You know, they keep selling worse and worse, but they keep making them. For some reason, I think Microsoft is an investor in the series, so they just keep throwing money at it, even if it doesn't make sense, because Microsoft does that sometimes. Mike, mic, Microsoft, you know, Micro machine, they're not hidden, but they invested in an indie company and let them.
28:07 --> 28:08 I do live in Seattle.
28:08 --> 28:12 That is Micro. Microsoft, meet Microsoft.
28:12 --> 28:13 You didn't roll your.
28:15 --> 28:18 Linux. Maybe he's never heard of Windows. Windows might be a hidden gem.
28:18 --> 28:21 I got a window right here. I'm about to open it because it's really warm here.
28:21 --> 28:22 Yeah.
28:22 --> 28:24 And you ever go, yeah, but, yeah.
28:24 --> 28:32 In this one you play as a super soldier. Uh, just trekking around the universe, killing aliens, blowing up planets, like that sort of thing.
28:32 --> 28:35 So you're like Rogers said.
28:35 --> 28:35 Yeah.
28:36 --> 28:38 Does the, does the super soldier have a name?
28:38 --> 28:40 Uh, John, Bill.
28:40 --> 28:45 I think it's Mister Chef.
28:45 --> 28:46 Mister Chef.
28:46 --> 28:49 Mister. Yes.
28:49 --> 28:50 I would never catch on.
28:51 --> 29:38 Yeah, I want to. I want to tell you the story real quick again. This isn't about hallow, this is about the game I thought it was, which is Halo. It sounds very similar. But my brother, when he was trying to come up with names for his firstborn, after they found out it was going to be boy, he really toyed around with the idea of naming his son Master chief, which I immediately was like, dude, dude, come on. But like secretly I was like, do it, do it. That's the coolest name. Nobody's gonna mess with this. You know, when at the time I was in Taekwondo and instructing and do all this, well, you can get to a certain level where you're called a chief master. And I thought if I can train this kid up, we could have a chief master Master chief. And I can die happy. He ended up not going with Master chief. He named his son after my son.
29:38 --> 29:47 But anyway, John Spartan is right there. I mean, I feel like you can name a kid John Spartan and 40 years from now, he wouldn't get bullied.
29:47 --> 29:48 Right?
29:48 --> 29:50 But you call the kid master chief. I don't know.
29:51 --> 29:58 John, isn't it? Yeah, no, that's alone. Demolition man. Yes.
29:58 --> 29:59 Yeah. Yeah.
30:02 --> 30:06 You'Re right. Stallone, maybe two John Spartans. Right?
30:06 --> 30:09 That was a little known. Stallone, a small time actor no one knows of.
30:09 --> 30:11 Yeah, yeah, nobody. Nobody's heard of him. Yeah.
30:11 --> 30:14 So, uh, you said there's.
30:14 --> 30:19 They just keep releasing these infinitely you, surprisingly.
30:19 --> 30:20 Huh.
30:21 --> 30:22 Infinitely.
30:22 --> 30:37 Wow. If I didn't know better guys. Anyway, so hallow two. What specifically about two, uh, made you want to pick that one instead of, uh, the. The multitude of, um, hollow games, it's.
30:37 --> 31:02 The one that just had the most fun multiplayer. In all honesty, um, it was in the first one, they. They made it kind of jank, so you couldn't really see the story as you played through the first one, uh, with a second player, and in the second one you could. And then the multiplayer, it was just spot on. They really nailed it. It's a real bummer that it didn't take off better than it did.
31:02 --> 31:07 Oh, this is the one where you farm pigs, right?
31:07 --> 31:10 I mean, if that's what you call your friends that you're pissed at.
31:10 --> 31:12 That's Bardew Valley. That's.
31:12 --> 31:24 No, isn't there, like a pig. There's a pig thing. Oh, some of you drive chupa thingy. Yeah, that's the pig farmers, right? The fucking puma warthogs or some shit.
31:24 --> 31:26 Oh, the pumas.
31:26 --> 31:27 Yeah, yeah, the tests.
31:27 --> 31:39 Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're gonna. We're gonna get digging off the air for that one. Nobody knows. Okay. This for the best.
31:39 --> 31:51 I'm just looking at the mind palace for this one. Sorry, GP, I'm looking at the mind palace for this one. Apparently there's a tv show about Halo. Have you guys watched? I forgot about the tv show as. Anybody watch this even more?
31:51 --> 32:01 Watching something chicken. Like, they played around with the characters and made them say weird.
32:01 --> 32:02 Oh, with the teeth.
32:03 --> 32:04 Yeah, yeah.
32:06 --> 32:13 I gotta tell you guys, I. Even when I don't know what's going on, feel like I can usually get a grasp on.
32:13 --> 32:13 Yeah, there was.
32:13 --> 32:14 Y'all talking about.
32:14 --> 32:16 It's like a red and a blue.
32:16 --> 32:22 I am shooting zero today. I have no clue where we're at in life.
32:23 --> 32:23 That's good.
32:23 --> 32:27 With borderlands. Two dark souls. Hallow. Two.
32:28 --> 32:28 Sorry.
32:28 --> 32:44 Dark souls, three. I don't know. I'm so sorry. I feel like I'm really dropping the ball as your friend, as a supposed gamer and as a podcast host. Yeah.
32:44 --> 32:49 That's why we do this, is to bring awareness, their awareness, to these kinds of things. Bring people in.
32:49 --> 32:51 We just. Bella trope, bump and such.
32:51 --> 32:53 But we just did the assignment.
32:54 --> 32:55 We did the assignment this time.
32:56 --> 33:16 Well, no, I appreciate that. I'm gonna. I'm gonna look some of these up and see. I mean, if they all sold really poorly. I'm sure they're wildly affordable, so I'll go and wildly do what I can find. Tell me more about. About. Hello to. Though I feel like you've been uncharacteristically vague. Yeah, like, you're usually very good with deets. Well, don't let me talk.
33:16 --> 34:12 John, you. You play. Let's. Let's talk about the single player campaign. As John, you find your way back at Earth after the events of the first game. You head down back to Earth to help stop the impending invasion that's taking place. And as you're doing so, you end up chasing the aliens back into space, find a second hallow, and once again, you're digging into the histories and mysteries of said hallow, and you find scary shit in the form of a creature that's basically fungus zombies, and you even make an alliance with one of the aliens that sort of looked down upon by his kind.
34:16 --> 34:32 Yeah, I'm having some sort of weird, fucked up deja vu or something, because this all sounds very, very much like a different thing that I'm very familiar with. But I don't want to speak out of turn here. I certainly don't want to say.
34:32 --> 34:34 I think you're combining a bunch of games into.
34:34 --> 34:40 We've. We've talked about quite a bit of stuff. The beginning of this episode. Maybe they're starting to melt.
34:40 --> 34:44 Maybe. Maybe. Okay. Yes.
34:46 --> 34:53 Think of a story earlier, a tangent, if you will. Um, are you. Are you guys familiar with the game skirm?
34:55 --> 34:56 Yeah.
34:56 --> 34:58 Ski room. Yeah, that's the ski.
34:58 --> 34:59 Well, ramp one.
34:59 --> 35:00 Yeah.
35:00 --> 35:03 Oh, I've never even heard.
35:03 --> 35:04 It's.
35:04 --> 35:08 The main character is referred to the Dova Kathosa.
35:08 --> 35:09 Yeah.
35:09 --> 35:27 And the company that made the game actually offered never gonna stick to the community. The first child they named Dovahkiin. The family would get access to the entire library of this company's games. And somebody did it.
35:27 --> 35:34 Huh. Oh, and they named their kid Novocaine.
35:35 --> 35:36 Novocaine.
35:36 --> 35:37 If I just come. Cain for sure.
35:37 --> 35:40 Dovak or Novi?
35:41 --> 35:42 Dova King.
35:42 --> 35:47 Yeah. Wow, that sounds like the european bakery I went to this morning.
35:49 --> 35:54 Ski rooms. The one with the voice on the Benny Jesuit, right?
35:54 --> 35:55 Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like dune.
35:55 --> 35:58 Nice. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
35:58 --> 35:59 It's got.
36:00 --> 36:08 Which, by the way, I want to say, I think it was a missed opportunity releasing dune in March or when did it. When did Dune two come out? Was that February? Was that march?
36:08 --> 36:10 February, February, February.
36:10 --> 36:19 I think specifically for the european market. They should have saved it for, you know, the summer and had a June release. Because that's just how they say June anyways.
36:19 --> 36:22 June and June. Wow.
36:22 --> 36:27 June. It's on a Tuesday.
36:27 --> 36:28 We just lost all our EU.
36:31 --> 36:39 That's a silverware. Sound it.
36:40 --> 36:42 Get me a thumper.
36:42 --> 36:44 Get a thumper. We need a sandwoman.
36:46 --> 36:48 Australia. We're so sorry.
36:48 --> 36:53 You know. You know what they call a line of the worms? A catavan.
36:56 --> 36:57 Right on time.
36:57 --> 37:00 Oh, man. I love.
37:00 --> 37:00 Wait.
37:00 --> 37:04 I love other countries. I love the world. I love all of you. Come back.
37:04 --> 37:05 Periwinkle blue.
37:07 --> 37:15 We just gave. Yeah, we just. We just gave Europe the old ballatrobe bump. Everybody's gonna be like, Europe. Let me look into this. What is this?
37:16 --> 37:17 Europe's a hidden gym.
37:17 --> 37:18 Yeah. Yeah.
37:18 --> 37:19 I've never heard of that one before.
37:20 --> 37:21 In it.
37:22 --> 37:27 Well, we should try this game together sometime.
37:27 --> 37:34 Okay. Now with skier and how many are there? Sequels to skier them? Also, I know this is tangential for you.
37:35 --> 37:36 No, there's only 1.
37:37 --> 37:40 June isn't.
37:40 --> 37:44 Isn't that an l descrals game?
37:44 --> 37:45 Yes.
37:45 --> 37:47 That's a spanish game, isn't it?
37:47 --> 37:48 Elder Scroll.
37:50 --> 37:51 Elle.
37:51 --> 37:56 Yeah, it's named after the elders who would scrawl on things.
37:58 --> 37:59 Yeah.
37:59 --> 38:01 Yeah. No, they had that hit game, like, small.
38:02 --> 38:04 It's like Spanish for cave scribe. Right?
38:04 --> 38:04 Yeah.
38:04 --> 38:07 Wait, I thought it was. I thought it was a bostonian thing.
38:07 --> 38:09 It could have been the scrolls.
38:09 --> 38:14 That's elder scrolls. Now we're back to american accents. Yeah.
38:14 --> 38:14 Coffee.
38:15 --> 38:15 Elder.
38:15 --> 38:16 Elder scrolls.
38:19 --> 38:20 In it.
38:21 --> 38:26 Yeah. The elders. Zeldas and the elders. That's horrible. So sorry.
38:26 --> 38:28 We're going to the party with the elder.
38:28 --> 38:34 Specifically to Ben Affleck and Matt Damon about all the. The bostonian accents. That's. That's my bad.
38:34 --> 38:36 Can't find my cockies.
38:36 --> 38:37 How do you like them apples?
38:38 --> 38:39 Such a great movie.
38:40 --> 38:41 Left him in my khakis.
38:42 --> 38:48 Pac the ka. Anyways, at Harvard Yard, shit's gone off the rails so hard.
38:49 --> 38:52 Wait, you know Harvard yard's a hit gym.
38:52 --> 38:57 It's a press b if we don't go off the rails.
38:57 --> 38:57 Yes.
38:57 --> 38:59 It's a good point.
38:59 --> 39:00 People are concerned.
39:00 --> 39:02 That's our signature move.
39:02 --> 39:04 Yeah, one of the five of us.
39:05 --> 39:07 Haven'T had any tech issues, so might as well go off the rails.
39:07 --> 39:08 Yeah.
39:09 --> 39:10 Can you imagine?
39:10 --> 39:18 Actually, with everything we've done this episode, I'm surprised we didn't have a single tech issue. I'm. I'm quite proud of you guys. This is awesome. We all did really good this. This week.
39:18 --> 39:19 Knocking on wood.
39:21 --> 39:24 All right, Jake, you want to share yours?
39:28 --> 39:28 Yeah.
39:29 --> 40:03 So, you know, funny enough, this is another sequel game. We seem to be, like, finding all these hidden gem franchises that nobody's ever heard of before. There was a small independent film starring an actor who I guess nobody knows nowadays. Actually, maybe that's true. Fred Savage did a movie called the wizard where this game was featured. And it's Super Mario brothers three. Stay with me. It's the third game, so they get a little loose with the plot. But you're a plumber, and you enter a fantastical world of living mushrooms and weird chicken turtle.
40:03 --> 40:04 Creepy.
40:04 --> 40:06 Is this based on that movie, mom and dad save the world?
40:10 --> 40:12 No, I think they ripped this game off.
40:12 --> 40:15 I think I need to know the lore in this. This is ridiculous.
40:15 --> 40:19 Yeah, this game. I thought this game starred Jack Black.
40:21 --> 40:28 No, you know, that's another independent movie featuring the characters from this franchise. Maybe it's catching on. I don't know. Maybe.
40:28 --> 40:36 Maybe United States wrote that song about the fruit. Is this in the same vein?
40:37 --> 40:50 I don't even know that I got this game. Okay. I thought Mario three was very popular. I thought that one sold a lot of units. You're telling me. No, I get grief over Final Fantasy tactics. I could have chosen Mario three.
40:51 --> 40:53 I mean, I've never played Mario Winner there.
40:53 --> 40:55 I thought it was. How many units?
40:55 --> 40:56 Like, are we?
40:58 --> 40:59 I thought it was Mario.
41:00 --> 41:03 Well, yeah, look, listen.
41:03 --> 41:21 As the only Canadian on the damn podcast, I got. I got to represent the correct way of saying mario. Yeah. Super Mario Bros. Three. It's got a small, loyal fan base, and one of the reasons why I picked it, and I'm going to. I'm going to say it is, one reason I picked this game is, is there's something called rom hacking, which I think a few of you are familiar with.
41:21 --> 41:21 Sure.
41:21 --> 41:41 There is a huge community of rom hacks for this game, and I've been playing one a lot, especially recently. And there's a. There's a lot of power ups in MAry brothers three, seeing as you guys aren't familiar. You can shoot fireballs after eating a flower. You know, the mushroom makes you big. All kinds of wild stuff, but there's one a leaf turns into raccoon. Explain that.
41:41 --> 41:44 Very Lewis Carroll, but, yeah, very Louis. Carol.
41:44 --> 41:45 Wait.
41:45 --> 42:15 But one power up, though, is a frog power up. It turns into a frog, and you move like shit on land, but you swim faster. But there's a rom hack that makes it so you're only the frog for the entire duration of the game, and it's awful, but it's still fun trying to play the game as a frog. For the entire game. If you get hit, you die instantly. They make it so you cannot get other frogs. Your frog Mario for the entire game. And I think it's a lot of fun. So the Rom hacks number three is something I've been having a lot of fun with.
42:15 --> 42:24 I would like to point out that I have done that rom hack, but it was before Rom hacks were invented. I just got the frog suit and was good at the game, so I didn't really have to worry.
42:24 --> 42:25 This game before GB.
42:26 --> 42:33 Yes. Famously up until, I think, it was world eight. Level two is around. I think there are things really.
42:33 --> 42:34 I think that's the first one.
42:34 --> 42:38 Chart he stream this game you came in, you found GP stream while he's.
42:39 --> 42:43 I played Mario three, not Mario three.
42:43 --> 42:47 If I remember right. I won a bracket of ours, didn't I? Or didn't it?
42:47 --> 42:49 I think it's Rom hack.
42:49 --> 42:51 I want to say I'll be pissed off.
42:51 --> 42:53 You didn't say that, right?
42:53 --> 42:54 Isn't it in it?
42:54 --> 42:55 Didn't it?
42:55 --> 42:57 It's a roam heck, isn't it?
42:57 --> 43:07 Now this is how I know the franchise fell off after Mario three. There have been no sequels in any of the Mario stuff. There's no Mario four.
43:07 --> 43:08 No, that's true.
43:08 --> 43:11 No, there's definitely no spin off sports games for some reason.
43:11 --> 43:13 So this one, I don't think sold very well.
43:14 --> 43:16 No, no, no.
43:16 --> 43:17 This is a hidden gem.
43:18 --> 43:23 I mean, if it sold well, we wouldn't be talking about it on this particular episode. It is in the title.
43:23 --> 43:27 Right? This. The hidden gems. Right. So.
43:29 --> 43:32 I know Super Mario won for sure.
43:32 --> 43:33 Yeah. Yeah.
43:34 --> 43:42 Are the stones of the, you know, levels built from all the murdered people?
43:43 --> 43:43 Yeah.
43:43 --> 43:46 That just keeps on going. That's just kind of a carryover, you know?
43:46 --> 43:47 Yeah.
43:47 --> 44:04 I don't know if they kept that bit of lore in this game. It's not as serious with the lore as some other games, like Elden Ring is more serious with Lord than Mario three. But now I wonder. I wonder what the actual story is. The manual from Mario Brothers three. But it's the same. It's the same joke. Jack Black steals a princess and you try and save her, right?
44:04 --> 44:15 Yeah. I think. I think the studio had such low hype and expectations for this game, they didn't even put a box with it. They said, just, here's the cartridge.
44:15 --> 44:17 It came in. It came in. The mail was sample.
44:17 --> 44:17 I think.
44:17 --> 44:21 I read an article recently that Mario wonders as well.
44:22 --> 44:24 Like, ramped him, comes alive.
44:24 --> 44:25 Mario Wonders.
44:25 --> 44:27 Mario does wonder.
44:27 --> 44:31 I wonder if this was a successful franchise.
44:31 --> 44:37 Yeah, well, they can't all be as popular as Mario Galactus.
44:37 --> 44:41 You're saying that this is not a full galaxy of games?
44:41 --> 44:42 There it is.
44:42 --> 44:51 I think you guys are underestimating the star power of Fred Savage, who's an actor. I think that everybody knows and is relevant today in 2024, and everybody's familiar with his.
44:51 --> 44:53 Wasn't that movie little monsters?
44:53 --> 44:54 What was.
44:56 --> 45:02 And I think, you guessed it, world. I think he got punched.
45:02 --> 45:04 What was Savage's Odyssey?
45:05 --> 45:15 What was Fred Savage's Odyssey? I don't know. Feels like a very worldwide kind of, like, thing here.
45:15 --> 46:03 I. I feel like Mario three. Mario three was a wonderful game. So just, of everything we've talked about tonight, this is the one that I've probably actually played and heard of. I'm surprised to find out that it's such a low seller to the point that it can be a hidden gem. So if you're watching this, if you're listening to this, find a way to go out and play it, whether it's the rom hack or not. Mario three. Absolutely worth your time for anybody who doesn't know about that. I feel like such a turd, because I know I've talked about this game before on the channel, just assuming everybody knew it like we did, or like I did, but apparently not. So, GP stamp of approval. Give it the old Balatro bump. Mario three. Super Mario brothers three. Very weird. Mario, Mario, Mario, Mario, Mario.
46:03 --> 46:08 Real hidden gem. You should definitely do that. Rom hacks are amazing.
46:08 --> 46:21 I just hadn't realized that. And that's awesome. I do wonder about the other Rom hacks, though, because now you've got me thinking with the game that I love so much, like Mario three, what are the other rom hacks for? Kaiju? For this? Because that's. I bet they'd be quite.
46:21 --> 46:32 Let me tell you about something called the Bizhawk shuffler, where you can play games like Mario or, I don't know, there's this other hidden gem called Mega man. Yeah, randomizer. It's so good.
46:32 --> 46:33 Yeah.
46:33 --> 46:40 You know, this game would have sold better, but it was levels of lost contest content.
46:40 --> 46:54 Okay, okay. Hey, sinister, here's a. Here's a now, okay. I'm not gonna tell you what I'm gonna do or get you for your birthday. You know how we do this thing every year? But you remember last year for your birthday, I played through Mega Man X one, two, and three?
46:54 --> 46:55 Yeah.
46:56 --> 47:06 What if I did the Bizhawk shuffler for Mega man one through six, and then X one through three. So it's. It's nine mega man games done on a damage shuffler. Every time I take damage, it goes to a new game.
47:07 --> 47:08 Have you beaten that before?
47:08 --> 47:14 Yeah, a bunch of times. But it's always fun and it's obviously always really. So if I just record it, he.
47:14 --> 47:17 Puts on the frog suit and he's just that good bunch of times.
47:17 --> 47:18 Yeah. Nice.
47:18 --> 47:19 Uh oh.
47:19 --> 47:21 And modest in it.
47:22 --> 47:23 In it.
47:23 --> 47:28 No, I've never. I've never beaten it before. So I'm pretty. I'm in. Pretty impressed GP. Like that shuffler is ridiculously hard.
47:28 --> 47:39 So it takes some time. Take some time. Okay, werewolf, I want to check back in with you. How are you doing? I feel like you're doing the Final Fantasy six low step challenge. But you know, just.
47:41 --> 47:49 I had a long day today. We went to Seattle and picked up a couch. It was like a six hour day.
47:49 --> 47:50 Okay.
47:50 --> 47:51 And has yet to sit on it.
47:51 --> 47:55 Yeah, that's the problem. It had more spiders than expected, so it's just.
47:57 --> 48:01 As much couch. I recently saw a co host, to.
48:01 --> 48:03 Me, an oversized couch.
48:03 --> 48:12 Like, I don't know if you guys have been furniture shopping recently, but I found this oversized couch like it was at least like six foot. At least. It was.
48:12 --> 48:15 It was probably more like five foot four inches, roughly.
48:15 --> 48:17 Okay. Five four.
48:17 --> 48:17 Wow.
48:17 --> 48:17 Yeah.
48:18 --> 48:19 Yeah, it's a big couch.
48:20 --> 48:22 Sounds hot. Yeah. Okay.
48:22 --> 48:22 It's corridor.
48:22 --> 48:28 I'm. If it's okay. God, if it's okay, I'll go. I'll go ahead and talk about my. Yeah.
48:31 --> 48:32 The world's winning.
48:32 --> 49:38 So last time I, like I said I did horribly. And we've just made fun of me so much the past couple of years about choosing Final Fantasy tactics. I wanted to try to stay close to or adjacent to the Final Fantasy series. So this one, I believe, truly is a hidden gem. It's PlayStation one game. I know most people have heard of Final Fantasy VII. I'm not choosing Final Fantasy seven, but there was released in North America in May of, I believe 1999. Could have been 98. A 3d fighting game that also had like quest mode and a bunch of other things. That was an arcade game, but it was called Ergis. And forgive me if I'm mispronouncing that, but it's like ehrgeiz. And the whole premise to this fighting game is there's like this ultimate sword and whoever wins this fighting tournament gets this legendary sword of Ergis. The proper name for the game, by the way, is called Ergis. God bless the ring, which I think is pretty fun. Anyway, I'm gonna.
49:38 --> 49:39 I'm gonna stop you here.
49:39 --> 49:40 Uh huh.
49:40 --> 49:42 We've all heard of this.
49:42 --> 49:42 Okay.
49:43 --> 49:43 Yeah.
49:43 --> 49:44 I love this place.
49:44 --> 49:45 In the cage.
49:45 --> 49:48 GP. Don't tell me. Okay.
49:49 --> 49:50 Wow.
49:50 --> 49:54 Are you guys fucking with me right now? I swear to God, I went to really excited.
49:54 --> 49:56 There's a wall devoted to ER guys.
49:56 --> 49:58 Django was my character, man. That was the guy.
49:59 --> 50:00 Did I tactics again?
50:00 --> 50:01 Did I?
50:02 --> 50:16 Did I. Okay, so Ergaze is a fighting game that has some cre. Like, you know, they made characters for this game, but they eventually brought in Final Fantasy. Seven characters, which I know I probably don't have to. Did I really tic tacs or tactics again?
50:16 --> 50:17 No.
50:17 --> 50:19 There was even a spin off of this.
50:19 --> 50:20 Oh, my God.
50:20 --> 50:20 Hand.
50:23 --> 50:24 Oh, my God.
50:25 --> 50:25 This game.
50:26 --> 50:59 And I. Oh, my God. So it was done by the same people who did. Uh, not Tobor. I'm thinking about this game. So, like that, the arcade cabinet, when, when arcade place bought this and plugged it in, you would have x number of characters available right from day one. But then they released new characters in 30, 60 and 90 day intervals, which I think is wild that they did that. This is back in, you know, the mid to late nineties.
51:00 --> 51:03 Did the arcade cabinet have knockers?
51:04 --> 51:10 That I don't believe so. But I. I have to look, it had t. But does that count?
51:11 --> 51:12 I mean, yes.
51:13 --> 51:14 I don't feel good about that one.
51:14 --> 51:16 Have you tried tunnels?
51:16 --> 51:17 Have you tried tunnels?
51:17 --> 51:49 I've tried the outside of tunnels. Okay. But anyway, no argues if you haven't played it. It's fun. There's a lot of things that it did that was very rare or new that nowadays would kind of be considered commonplace. There's a story mode, there's a quest mode where you could play as different characters. But yeah, it had. There's like a dungeon, and then if I remember right, there was like an inn or like a hotel. And anyway, it was. I mean, apparently everybody knows about this. I don't need to explain it. It's all right, guys, I'm sorry.
51:49 --> 51:51 I don't want to take the wind out of yourselves.
51:51 --> 51:58 Yeah, but no, if I mess up the assignment again, I mess up the assignment. We can't all have deep cuts like.
51:59 --> 52:01 Dark Souls and hollow.
52:01 --> 52:02 And hollow.
52:02 --> 52:30 Hollow. Yeah, Holly, I just look it up. I was trying to figure out, does this game come out before or after Power Stone? But it looks like Powerstone came out in 99 as well. Because it's funny that you have two 3d fighter games, like, of that perspective and like. Cause ur guys or whatever. How you say it. It's not 2d plane fighting. Right? Like, it's an actual 3d array arena. And it's a really fun, interesting take on fighting games. And you don't really see that in other, other games. Like, I don't.
52:30 --> 52:30 I don't.
52:30 --> 52:35 I can't think of another game that's like that that's been released in the last ten years, I don't think.
52:35 --> 52:49 Yeah, but yeah, and it was so I'm trying to think of all the Final Fantasy characters they threw in there because there was cloud, there was sephiroth, I think. I'm not sure. And then Zack. Zach. Fair. You could play in there. Yeah.
52:49 --> 52:55 Zach. There was an addition that, like, you didn't expect to get. You got everybody else that was common. And then they're like, oh, let's throw.
52:55 --> 53:02 Zachary, one of the, one of the main bosses, django, was basically red 13.
53:04 --> 53:07 Yeah, yeah, it was.
53:07 --> 53:07 It was very.
53:08 --> 53:10 I remember was Vincent.
53:11 --> 53:12 Vincent might have been in this.
53:13 --> 53:14 He is.
53:14 --> 53:23 And I forgot about that. I mean, you also had yo, yo, my buddy. And I still quote this game.
53:24 --> 53:24 Yeah.
53:25 --> 53:47 And it's so interesting to me to see a fighting game where you're in a, like a wrestling or a boxing ring, but your character has a giant sword and for whatever reason, that's still just like, so bizarre to see. But the mechanics are fine. I think the gameplay is fun. I think if I remember right, with the quest mode, the dungeons are randomly generated.
53:48 --> 53:48 Yeah.
53:48 --> 54:09 I might have to go back and look at that one. But I think that did have a randomizer. Yeah. As random as it could be on a disc, you know what I mean? So, yeah, that was my apparently failed attempt at a hidden gem, Ergis for the PlayStation one. Out of curiosity, wolf, it sounds like you've got a history with. How do you pronounce it?
54:10 --> 54:17 This was. This was during square's time when they were releasing games with german names. Einhander, stuff like that.
54:17 --> 54:17 So. Yeah. Hair.
54:17 --> 54:18 Guys.
54:20 --> 54:24 I just thought it was like a sequel to air, buddy.
54:25 --> 54:27 Yes. The dog is a hidden character.
54:30 --> 54:30 Geez.
54:30 --> 54:34 As weapon was a football. It's a basketball documentary.
54:34 --> 54:37 I love it. I know sports.
54:37 --> 54:38 Does this take place on Earth?
54:39 --> 54:39 It.
54:39 --> 54:40 It does.
54:41 --> 54:44 It is our planet. You know, like most games. Do they take place in planets? Yeah.
54:44 --> 54:47 Do they say hello when they play?
54:47 --> 54:48 Mahalo.
54:48 --> 54:49 Mahalo.
54:49 --> 54:50 Your hollow.
54:51 --> 54:52 My hollow.
54:52 --> 54:53 Mahalo.
54:53 --> 54:54 It translates well.
54:54 --> 55:02 Guys, this is me messing up another episode. Ambition. Yeah, the sort of ambition. The air. Guys.
55:03 --> 55:05 Hey, patrons.
55:06 --> 55:07 Yes. Yeah.
55:07 --> 55:08 April fools.
55:08 --> 55:08 Yeah.
55:08 --> 55:09 Happy April fools.
55:11 --> 55:14 April fools. Is that what this whole episode is about.
55:14 --> 55:16 Yes, absolutely. GP. I've never heard of that game.
55:16 --> 55:17 That's the thing.
55:18 --> 55:21 Oh, I've never heard of it.
55:21 --> 55:22 Never heard of it.
55:22 --> 55:29 Okay, so what you're telling me is Mario three actually sold really, really, really well. And Borderlands is a very popular franchise.
55:29 --> 55:31 Might be, yeah.
55:31 --> 55:35 And Halo. Nobody's heard of Dark Souls? No.
55:35 --> 55:40 Dark Souls is totally still under the radar. I was the only one that came in with an actual lower, lower known game.
55:40 --> 55:51 I was, you know, what's a hidden though and all? Honestly? Charred demon souls. I think a lot of people who like souls games, they don't know about demon soul till much later on. So that's probably hidden gem.
55:51 --> 56:05 I would argue that with the release of the PS five and the remake or remaster being released with it has brought it back to the surface. But a lot of people didn't know beforehand that demon Souls was the original Dark Souls before Dark Souls was Dark Souls.
56:05 --> 56:08 So that is also, I think everyone knew that it's a very common game.
56:08 --> 56:20 I almost came in today with Star Fox adventures, but I was like, ah, that one maybe didn't do quite well enough to count for what we're doing today. Even though it was like 12th best selling GameCube game, I think.
56:20 --> 56:24 Yeah, yeah.
56:24 --> 56:26 But there's only twelve games. The GameCube.
56:26 --> 56:29 Oh, like, wow.
56:30 --> 56:32 Yeah, come on now.
56:32 --> 56:38 Yeah, there's best selling games and double dash, Hogwarts, Quidditch.
56:38 --> 56:45 Star Fox Adventures is like Zelda Two. It's a good game. It's not a good Star Fox game kind of the way to think of it.
56:45 --> 56:45 Yeah.
56:46 --> 56:52 But air, guys, Final Fantasy, legitimately good. Not a great gem pick. That's a good one.
56:54 --> 56:57 Yeah, you nailed it, guys. Yeah, yeah.
56:57 --> 57:00 You actually. You hit it right out of the ballpark. If we're still.
57:00 --> 57:08 So you guys spent the last 60 minutes exactly just taking a. Taking a piss over me. Yeah, make fun of me again for something that I did.
57:08 --> 57:14 I just love that you picked a good hit gem that I actually know a lot about because I played the great.
57:15 --> 57:18 Yeah, yeah, it was a fun one to me.
57:18 --> 57:24 I'm like, wolf's gonna love that because he knows tow ball really, really well. And that game really well, dude, I.
57:24 --> 57:26 Had never heard of it until today.
57:26 --> 57:27 Yeah, same.
57:27 --> 57:52 Oh, man. For real? You guys gotta check. Yeah. Chart. I think you'll like it. And, you know, sinister. I don't know, but I mean, it's fun whether you're there for the fighting aspect or if you're there for like the quest mode. It's all. It's all a good time. And to the listener. Yeah. Go out and check out any of these. I was going to say hidden gems. You know what? Never mind. Everybody listening probably already owns all of them except for air guys, so.
57:53 --> 57:55 You did well, GP. You did well.
57:55 --> 58:03 Thank you. You guys almost got me a couple times. I was. When I started, like, no, they wouldn't be fucking with me that hard.
58:04 --> 58:06 It was pronounced Hallo.
58:06 --> 58:10 So I'm redeemed. We can put this meme to bed. Yes.
58:10 --> 58:13 Well, well, no, but we can stretch it out for another year.
58:13 --> 58:15 Okay. Okay.
58:15 --> 58:18 Till somebody else does something stupid. And we run with that. Like tunnels.
58:18 --> 58:19 Tunnels.
58:19 --> 58:29 Right. That's the thing. Everybody's got their own. Their own thing. I love it. Except for werewolf game genie all the time.
58:29 --> 58:31 No, we. We rode game genie for years.
58:31 --> 58:34 It was last used three weeks ago.
58:37 --> 58:39 You guys just don't notice it anymore.
58:39 --> 58:41 It's so at least a year.
58:42 --> 58:44 That one's got the best mileage so far.
58:45 --> 58:47 I wasn't even a part of the podcast.
58:50 --> 58:54 Guys, guys, look.
58:54 --> 58:57 Air guys, guys. One.
58:59 --> 59:01 Have you guys all seen doom too?
59:01 --> 59:02 Yeah.
59:02 --> 59:03 I gotta ask.
59:03 --> 59:10 Yeah. Great. Okay, I have a story about when I went inside.
59:10 --> 59:15 One small spoiler. Christopher Walken's casting in dune two. Like, what's fucking brilliant?
59:15 --> 59:16 What are you talking about?
59:16 --> 59:18 Stupid as fuck.
59:20 --> 59:24 They needed. They needed the movie to feel as long as possible.
59:25 --> 59:25 I'm the.
59:25 --> 59:27 Who else can stretch out a line?
59:27 --> 59:28 How do you think they scored?
59:28 --> 59:34 He's 2 hours out of him talking like Christopher Walken. Yeah, yeah, he's a bit.
59:34 --> 59:36 He's him talking.
59:36 --> 59:49 Yeah, he's wonderful. Like, he's legitimately just one of the best actors of his generation. He's great. But doctor, because he's to Christopher Walken, that took you out of it. Like they could have put.
59:50 --> 01:00:00 They hired him and he's like, do I need a script? He's like, no, just be you, just be you will give you five around you in the future, 10 years from now. Shoes.
01:00:00 --> 01:00:03 And there's a giant word he would.
01:00:03 --> 01:00:05 The only way they could have been.
01:00:05 --> 01:00:09 Saved span my life. Christopher Walker.
01:00:09 --> 01:00:12 Why did they not cash in as Gandalf? That's all I'm saying.
01:00:13 --> 01:00:17 Well, there's a reboot of X Men coming, so maybe he can be Magneto. You never know.
01:00:17 --> 01:00:19 Guys, I have no memory of this place.
01:00:20 --> 01:00:21 He's too chiseled.
01:00:24 --> 01:00:24 Which.
01:00:24 --> 01:00:30 Oh, my God, we have. One of these days we'll get around to talk about X Men 97. I have strong opinions.
01:00:30 --> 01:00:33 That's so good. Yeah, that one shall not.
01:00:33 --> 01:00:41 Oh, my God. I just want Magneto's comic, accurate costume, the number one men's Halloween costume that.
01:00:41 --> 01:00:42 She dug too deep.
01:00:42 --> 01:01:00 And for those who watched X Men 97, I saw that costume. And if you're like me, you immediately went to Wikipedia to see if that was a legit costume. And it totally is. The weird, like, strapless thing he's wearing with a giant m on his chest. Or, like, where the fuck did they pull that costume from? It's legit. A magneto costume. It's. It is.
01:01:00 --> 01:01:04 The thing that gets me is the gloves that go all the way up to the shoulders.
01:01:04 --> 01:01:05 Yeah.
01:01:05 --> 01:01:07 Like they're pageant gloves.
01:01:09 --> 01:01:13 He doesn't get liquid in his gloves when he's reaching into shit. It's a safety thing.
01:01:13 --> 01:01:15 Okay, well, that makes sense.
01:01:15 --> 01:01:17 Yeah. Wemouss in Canada.
01:01:19 --> 01:01:20 Never wash the dishes.
01:01:20 --> 01:01:23 And have water get in your gloves. Well, God, you hit the guy.
01:01:23 --> 01:01:24 It's the worst. It's.
01:01:24 --> 01:01:26 You gotta think it from the villain's point of view. Right?
01:01:26 --> 01:01:26 You're.
01:01:26 --> 01:01:29 You're armed deep in blood of your enemies.
01:01:29 --> 01:01:29 Dude's got.
01:01:30 --> 01:01:31 That doesn't come out of spin, man.
01:01:31 --> 01:01:33 You don't want swamp hands.
01:01:33 --> 01:01:33 Yeah.
01:01:33 --> 01:01:35 Raspberry raisins on your face.
01:01:35 --> 01:01:40 Magneto looks magnificent. Fabulous.
01:01:40 --> 01:01:43 He's a complete Zaddy, I think, is what the kids are saying.
01:01:43 --> 01:01:51 Zaddy scene with gambit in a. In, like, what do you call it? Like a crop top baby t shirt or crop top. And it's just like.
01:01:51 --> 01:01:52 That's.
01:01:52 --> 01:01:54 That's very, very nice. Nineties.
01:01:54 --> 01:02:02 Yeah. If you've seen Rocky three and the training montage where Stallone. Yes. A little hidden gem of a movie, the Rocky franchise.
01:02:02 --> 01:02:03 Bring out the rocky.
01:02:03 --> 01:02:09 They got the cutoffs and they put Gambit on there. And my wife has never been more thirsty. It's been insane.
01:02:09 --> 01:02:12 It's. It's a good. It's a great show we're gonna do.
01:02:12 --> 01:02:14 Jake left my room.
01:02:14 --> 01:02:15 Yeah, he flew home.
01:02:15 --> 01:02:20 Yeah, I'm here to go. Once I realized you guys are joking for 45 minutes about hidden gem airplanes.
01:02:20 --> 01:02:21 It was a quick ride.
01:02:22 --> 01:02:23 Oh, from snap.
01:02:24 --> 01:02:35 Guys, gals, happy April Fool's Day. This has been fun. Even though it was a bit mean spirited. I appreciate, you know, the love.
01:02:35 --> 01:02:38 So, GP Sinistar flew all the way.
01:02:38 --> 01:02:39 Out here to give you shit?
01:02:39 --> 01:02:44 I gotta ask, GP, were you. Were you legit wondering about Blaster? Master. Master Blaster?
01:02:47 --> 01:02:50 Yeah. I can never remember. I try to have certain memory tricks.
01:02:50 --> 01:02:51 I got a memory trick for you.
01:02:51 --> 01:02:53 For now that I know this is going to be alphabetical.
01:02:53 --> 01:02:57 Master Blaster. M is for the movie. B is for the video game.
01:03:00 --> 01:03:01 Video game.
01:03:01 --> 01:03:03 So it's Blaster master.
01:03:03 --> 01:03:07 Master Blaster is what you do in your bedroom after a round of Tetris.
01:03:07 --> 01:03:15 Okay. Wow. See, I was thinking bowel movements. Bm. Blaster master said poop joke.
01:03:15 --> 01:03:16 It's a poop joke.
01:03:16 --> 01:03:17 I don't get it.
01:03:17 --> 01:03:19 Poop jokes, it's the same thing.
01:03:19 --> 01:03:22 The second one is shit, but the first one's great.
01:03:24 --> 01:03:29 Sinister. You don't get. I'll send you a Marco Polo. Just don't. Don't save it. Delete it immediately.
01:03:29 --> 01:03:30 Send them a Snapchat.
01:03:30 --> 01:03:31 Have you tried tunnels?
01:03:31 --> 01:03:39 Also shout out to, yeah, how. How are we not partnered up with Marco Polo? Like, every week? They should be getting a ballot row bump from us.
01:03:39 --> 01:03:50 Yeah, I get an urgent message from polo every three days saying, hey, all that great fat content you've been putting on our. On our servers. You got it. You got to pay us for if you want to keep it.
01:03:50 --> 01:03:52 We're putting their kids through college.
01:03:53 --> 01:03:59 Can we have them do our randomizers whenever we do brackets instead of the Olympic committee? I think I trust people.
01:03:59 --> 01:04:00 Yeah.
01:04:00 --> 01:04:03 Yeah, it's coming. Hot off the Marco Polo presses.
01:04:04 --> 01:04:10 Does. Does anybody have anything they want to hype up or promote before we end the show?
01:04:12 --> 01:04:42 I want to give a shout out to a game I've been playing, the crap out of spirit fall. That one is a really good little indie game. If you're familiar with Hades, the main structure of how the game works is a lot like that in terms of you travel from room to room to room. It's a roguelite. You get to determine, you get to pick your route so that you know what's coming. But instead of being three quarters beat em up style, or however that plays, it's a platformer beat em up style. So.
01:04:46 --> 01:04:53 Spirit and what's that called? One more time. Okay, I'm taking note of that one. Sounds like a nice little hidden gem.
01:04:54 --> 01:05:20 Jake and I have been getting down on Final Fantasy seven remake. I have been getting a lot of hidden mp's from him, mostly Jared. To like this game starting. What the fuck is this chart? Now, I want to point out that I've warned him about every single one of the things that he sent me, and then two or three days later, I finally get a, well, I'm here it is what you said it would be, as I guess I am profit.
01:05:21 --> 01:06:23 Well, I just did the honeybee scene for the remake, and you have the DDR and I I'm sitting there on the couch. My wife. My wife's like, all right, I'm gonna go to bed. And then the honeybee thing just popped on stage, and the guy's dancing, and she's like, what is this? And I'm like, I don't even fucking know honey anymore. Like this again. They hides the button prompts behind the dance moves, and I just. I was just fucking losing it. And then after I'm done that. That's like, after that sequence, beth's like, my wife. Sorry, Doxner. It's okay. She's like, what is with Tifa's tits? I'm like, yes, they're unnecessarily large. They were like that in the original, and it just. It's just mind blowing, this game. I don't know. I'm trying to like it. I want to do an episode with you on a chart later when I beat it, but there's. There's. So I'd rather play helldivers. I've been playing dragon's dogma two. I broke down and bought the stupid game. I did want to say, for those who are on the fence about dragons, Dogma two and the whole microtransaction thing, you just. Microtransactions. They're literally nothing. There's their in game items you can get in five minutes for free.
01:06:23 --> 01:06:24 Made them easier.
01:06:24 --> 01:06:26 Microtransactions is just a capcom dumb shit.
01:06:27 --> 01:06:28 Yeah.
01:06:28 --> 01:06:45 Did they. Yeah, I heard they added new game. A new game, not new game, plus new game option to the menu because people are complaining they had to delete save data to start over. It's the Dragon saga two is a fun game, but it's got some weird, unique choices for a Capcom game. But if anybody who's complaining about the microtransactions, it's stupid.
01:06:45 --> 01:06:45 They're.
01:06:45 --> 01:06:46 They're literally nothing.
01:06:46 --> 01:06:46 They.
01:06:46 --> 01:06:55 I I am the first to bitch about microtransactions and unnecessary dlc, but for this game, it's dumb. It's completely pointless.
01:06:55 --> 01:06:59 I want to thank Balatro for not having micro transactions, because.
01:06:59 --> 01:07:00 Yeah, no shit.
01:07:00 --> 01:07:02 We would have been proud of.
01:07:02 --> 01:07:05 I just want to thank Bellatrix.
01:07:06 --> 01:07:08 You can thank it again soon, because it's getting.
01:07:08 --> 01:07:39 Today. I was thinking today, while I was on my thinking throne master bathroom, that, you know, what a good April Fool's episode would have been. Would have been Palatrow because of the jokers invested in them. But since you guys decided to not only show up at my house today and have this episode, you also left me out of the Palatro episode, which is totally fine, and I'm not at all bitter.
01:07:39 --> 01:07:40 Were you playing that game?
01:07:40 --> 01:07:41 Bringing it up every time?
01:07:41 --> 01:07:42 Yeah.
01:07:42 --> 01:07:42 Hey, uh.
01:07:48 --> 01:07:52 My mind is fucking blown right now. What's going on?
01:07:52 --> 01:07:55 Oh, Wolf is appearing in his house.
01:07:57 --> 01:07:58 It still fits.
01:07:58 --> 01:07:59 It still works.
01:08:00 --> 01:08:01 It still works.
01:08:01 --> 01:08:04 Wolf took down his dreams and nothing changed.
01:08:04 --> 01:08:07 Okay? He's still there to the audio version.
01:08:07 --> 01:08:08 Oh, my God.
01:08:10 --> 01:08:13 My David after dentist thing. It's like half.
01:08:13 --> 01:08:17 You know, that just proves to you that I totally stole your room idea, apparently.
01:08:20 --> 01:08:22 That's funny. I am unoriginal.
01:08:22 --> 01:08:23 Best thing I've ever seen.
01:08:23 --> 01:08:24 Can't confirm.
01:08:24 --> 01:08:36 Okay, well, guys and gals, I understand this is the April Fool's Day one. We're actually recording this on March 29, which was not a great Friday, but it was a good Friday.
01:08:38 --> 01:08:38 Got him.
01:08:39 --> 01:08:58 Long pause and yeah, I hope everybody has a good weekend and happy Easter, if that's part of your. Your life. So, yeah. Anything else we should say before we get going? I have more than enough words for everybody. As soon as we stop recording, I think we're good.
01:09:00 --> 01:09:03 Horizon, forbidden west. We'll be back next week.
01:09:03 --> 01:09:03 That's.
01:09:03 --> 01:09:08 That's all I've got to add to that and go play air. Guys. The sequel to Air Bud.
01:09:08 --> 01:09:09 Check that out. Yeah.
01:09:09 --> 01:09:12 Thank you, everybody, for listening to us. Bring our b game.
01:09:12 --> 01:09:19 Yes. Love that 200 plus chard. Thank you. Yes. That's incredible. Chard. Thank you for your hospitality. Love it.
01:09:20 --> 01:09:21 House fatality.
01:09:21 --> 01:09:23 Hospitality. Okay.
01:09:23 --> 01:09:24 Welcome to my house.
01:09:24 --> 01:09:24 In it.
