[00:01:08] It's just been a busy couple weeks, you know, with everything that has been going on, trying to get everything together.

[00:01:14] My uncle is improving.

[00:01:17] He's healing very nicely from what I hear.

[00:01:21] I did talk to him last weekend and aside from going stir-crazy for being stuck in the hospital for over two weeks, he's doing fine.

[00:01:28] So hopefully he'll be getting moved into a rehab soon.

[00:01:31] So that's good.

[00:01:34] Yeah, it's been a it's been a it's been a week since we last talked.

[00:01:39] It's been really hot and like I swear like the heat fluctuation just makes you like tired like all the time.

[00:01:47] Oh, for sure.

[00:01:49] It's been weird too because like our bedroom gets pretty fucking warm.

[00:01:52] It's like, well, I don't know.

[00:01:54] It's just been like a thing in my life where I always have that bedroom where in the summer it's the hottest room in the house and in the winter it's the coldest room in the house no matter what.

[00:02:04] Yeah.

[00:02:07] So like during the day and stuff like it gets super hot up there.

[00:02:10] We have three fans in there right now, two in the window and one just blowing it around the room.

[00:02:15] And, you know, by like a certain point at time at night, it gets OK, you know, like survivable at least.

[00:02:23] Yeah.

[00:02:23] Yeah.

[00:02:24] So I thought all week that it was going to be difficult trying to get my daughter down because she's doesn't have her own room yet.

[00:02:34] But surprisingly, though, I think what you were saying is true because she she's passed out super quick every day, like way, way easier than normal.

[00:02:43] So, I mean, silver linings, I guess, but the heat is starting to break.

[00:02:48] It's still still summer, but it's not like, you know.

[00:02:53] Hiding in the AC weather.

[00:02:56] It's weird.

[00:02:57] My house, it's like the lower floors are freezing because that's where like the AC directly like vents out.

[00:03:03] And then like because of the attic, all my upper floors are like really hot.

[00:03:08] So it's like.

[00:03:11] To try and get them cooler upstairs, I have to jack the AC up and just makes it fucking freezing downstairs.

[00:03:16] I'm like, no, this this isn't worth it.

[00:03:18] So I had to lower everything down and I have just fans upstairs because that's the only way I can really fluctuate.

[00:03:25] Yeah, for sure.

[00:03:27] Yeah.

[00:03:27] And the we have two ACs downstairs and they have been struggling to try and stay on top of the really struggling today.

[00:03:37] We actually only need one of them running and that's doing fine.

[00:03:39] But up to that point, it's been two weeks of hell.

[00:03:44] Yeah, it's been.

[00:03:46] It's been rough, but.

[00:03:49] Things could be worse, I guess.

[00:03:51] Thankfully, the humidity hasn't been super bad this year.

[00:03:56] Not as bad as it has been before.

[00:03:58] True.

[00:03:59] We've had a lot of dry heat this year, which I prefer dry heat because I can.

[00:04:03] I mean, I'm one of those freaks that prefers being hot over being cold.

[00:04:07] So.

[00:04:08] Now I'm the other way around.

[00:04:09] You can always throw more layers on.

[00:04:11] You can only take so many off.

[00:04:12] See, I hate being.

[00:04:14] I hate being free cold.

[00:04:15] Like cold bothers me a lot more than the heat.

[00:04:18] Yeah, I remember when you used to come over to hang out and I used to smoke cigarettes back then.

[00:04:25] You'd come out with me when I'd go out to smoke a cigarette.

[00:04:28] You get so.

[00:04:29] Even on the days that aren't that bad, you'd just be shaking like a leaf.

[00:04:35] I think a lot of that is I used to be really heavy, so I lost a lot of weight.

[00:04:39] And my body just never recovered from that.

[00:04:41] So it still thinks I have all that insulation when I don't anymore.

[00:04:45] That makes sense.

[00:04:47] Yeah, no.

[00:04:47] I mean, I can't handle the cold very well either, but I still prefer it over.

[00:04:53] I prefer intense cold over intense heat rather.

[00:04:56] Like, I don't mind.

[00:04:58] Like, I generally like the warmer weather.

[00:05:02] But when it gets to a certain point, I'm like, all right, I'm ready for winter.

[00:05:07] Like, bring it on.

[00:05:10] Yeah.

[00:05:10] That's fine.

[00:05:11] I mean, it's to each his own.

[00:05:14] The cold versus hot argument, I think, is one of those arguments that's just never going to.

[00:05:20] You're never going to get a definitive answer on.

[00:05:23] Not until seasons are done away with altogether, which we're already halfway there.

[00:05:26] Yeah.

[00:05:28] Yeah.

[00:05:28] Well, I mean, we live in New England, too.

[00:05:29] And we literally only have two seasons.

[00:05:32] We have hot, cold, slightly colder cold, and slightly hotter hot.

[00:05:39] But, I mean, I don't know.

[00:05:41] When we were kids, it wasn't like this.

[00:05:43] Like, it was.

[00:05:43] We actually had, like, real seasons when we were kids.

[00:05:47] And now it's.

[00:05:48] When was the last time we had, like, a real.

[00:05:50] I mean, I know you're in Connecticut now.

[00:05:52] So, it's.

[00:05:53] You know, it's a little bit different.

[00:05:54] But, like, we're.

[00:05:55] Here, it's been forever since we've had, like, a real snowstorm.

[00:05:59] Like, I don't think it's been since I was, like, just graduating high school.

[00:06:03] Which is a while ago now.

[00:06:07] It's been a long time.

[00:06:09] See, I'm always under the impression where I'm not sure if that's just.

[00:06:15] We have, like, those rose.

[00:06:16] Rose tinted glasses about the past.

[00:06:18] Because I always wonder that.

[00:06:21] For some reason, like.

[00:06:23] Nowadays.

[00:06:24] Time.

[00:06:25] Time doesn't change.

[00:06:27] The older you get, the faster time goes by.

[00:06:30] And I just always feel like.

[00:06:32] We have this weird perception in our heads.

[00:06:34] That when we were younger.

[00:06:35] That things seemed longer and more frequent than they actually were.

[00:06:39] This is all conspiracy stuff.

[00:06:41] Like, this is just how I.

[00:06:42] My brain works sometimes.

[00:06:44] Well, I do remember specifically.

[00:06:46] In the winter of 05.

[00:06:47] We had.

[00:06:49] We had, like.

[00:06:49] A solid week-long snowstorm.

[00:06:51] Like, we had the entire week off.

[00:06:52] It's cool.

[00:06:53] There was, like.

[00:06:54] The exceptions.

[00:06:55] Like, back in the day.

[00:06:57] I feel like those come in cycles, though.

[00:06:58] Because, I mean.

[00:07:02] But there was the blizzard of 78.

[00:07:04] Like, that was a huge thing.

[00:07:15] Weather and climate is always one of those things where.

[00:07:19] I don't know who to trust on this stuff anymore.

[00:13:21] To drop off some parts I had just finished.

[00:13:26] And I had gotten a notification on discord.

[00:13:28] That I wanted to respond to.

[00:13:30] So I just.

[00:13:31] Kind of like snuck around to like one of the back uh.

[00:13:35] Like the metal.

[00:13:36] Stock room.

[00:13:37] I guess you could say.

[00:13:38] And I walk in there.

[00:13:40] And that room has like automatic motion sensing lights.

[00:13:43] That usually will go off.

[00:13:46] When you enter the area.

[00:13:48] So I had walked in.

[00:13:49] And I noticed that the lights didn't go off.

[00:13:50] And I was like.

[00:13:51] That's weird.

[00:13:52] So then.

[00:13:53] I look over and see they were shut off.

[00:13:56] And I'm like.

[00:13:57] Huh.

[00:13:57] So I look over into the room.

[00:13:59] And one of my coworkers.

[00:14:01] He's on a chair.

[00:14:02] Legs kicked up on a bandsaw.

[00:14:04] Like just.

[00:14:05] Chilling with his phone.

[00:14:07] And I'm just like.

[00:14:08] That's where he's been the last fucking hour.

[00:14:12] I finished my discord stuff.

[00:14:13] He didn't notice I came in.

[00:14:14] So I walk out.

[00:14:16] I go and get one of my other coworkers.

[00:14:18] And I'm like.

[00:14:18] You gotta see what this guy's doing.

[00:14:19] So we walk in.

[00:14:21] And we sneak up on him.

[00:14:22] And we're just like.

[00:14:23] So this is where you've been all day.

[00:14:25] We shot the shit for a little bit.

[00:14:27] We weren't gonna snitch on him or anything.

[00:14:43] And we'll actually leave.

[00:14:52] You can lock the wheels on.

[00:14:54] And so we push it against the door.

[00:15:00] So we couldn't really lock him in.

[00:15:03] Pushed this cart up against the door.

[00:15:08] It was impossible to move the thing.
