[00:10:39] With like moving development cards around Anyways, I use it for my scheduling And basically it's just a list And I look at it and I'm like, oh shit I need to do 15 minutes of reading Japanese today So then I'll just start doing it

[00:10:51] Just start knocking out Ry then No hesitation And then I also will like Organize them based on like priority of course But I do have like A active to-do list that I'm always updating And keeping track of And I just have everything on there

[00:13:52] The whole game is like You're collecting cards And the card is a gun But it is also if you discard it It does an ability So like there's this really cool flow state That you constantly are playing in And it's just a really interactive puzzle game

[00:15:29] At the mall or whatever it is And so I have like dozens and dozens of like sets I like have like 80 to 90 Funkos That I just Funkos I need to inventory I need to put on eBay I need to put on Amazon Whatever the fuck

[00:21:32] Here we go I can finally beat this game Boltgun and Hellblade Both being in CTRX Each other is so hilarious Because both of them You got 80% of the way through the game Without knowing that there was A vital game mechanic You were missing In Hellblade he was walking

[00:21:46] Yeah, you walked everywhere in Hellblade Yeah, but Boltgun Okay, one good point to Boltgun I think Proteus has it too You can adjust the scaling Of the resolutions So if you wanted to look Crunchy as hell You can de-scale the textures And I You sure as hell

[00:25:12] You are unable to die But not Not from like I don't know how to describe this So it has kind of checkpoints So if you fall You never fall Oh yeah Yeah, yeah There's like the pinned parts of the rope Always You get a relay rope

[00:25:31] And so you can never climb Without dropping a relay So it will not let you go off In edges and visible walls So you will always have to place A relay So it's so interesting where they They developed a way to have checkpoints And

[00:25:45] Not have a fail state Because even if you fall You just zip right back up to where you were I think it's really clever Like this I have not seen this in a game That I can recall But they have They have the opportunity

[00:25:59] They have an opportunity to do something really scary If one time you fall It just comes out And then you fall two things down That would make me shoo myself Yeah, like The Prince of Persia rewinding mechanic Is also Pretty good I'd say

[00:31:13] And honestly for the gameplay It feels really nice Like I imagine the 60 frames is smoother But I'm not having any hitching or issues Even with all the crazy bolts Flying around and stuff going on So I think I'm just going to keep it At the Fidelity

[00:31:26] Because I'm stopping every 15 seconds And taking a new photo Of these long backs And these different creatures And stuff fighting around And of course with Insomniac You know they have one of the Really in depth photo Taking services in the system

[00:31:41] So you can go on and change all their poses And add separate lighting And things like that So you know he makes some pretty good photos Looks pretty cool You can do that in Resident Evil 2 And 3 Where if you go into photo mode

[00:31:53] You have the option to turn off Like the enemies And so when you see a body On the ground You're like I don't want to walk past that You can always just go into photo mode And turn off enemies And if they vanish

[00:42:48] Am I going to pay because I think it's 40 I did get the confirmation there that it's not a full price But am I going to pay 40 dollars for it out the gate Fuck no However I'm having a pretty decent time with the beta itself The characters are different

[00:43:04] That's one thing that we talked about What is going to make this Separate from Overwatch Make it separate from Marvel Rivals You know all those other kind of hero shooters And yada yada yada The big things I see are that they

[00:43:18] They're reward and highly suggest you play aggressively Because you have two special moves One just comes back as you use it The other one requires you to actually eliminate enemies In order to replenish it So that's interesting in its own It can get you in really shitty situations

[00:43:34] But still it's an interesting way to go about it And then the other section that makes it a little bit different Is that you actually have these Different characters Everyone is in like a kind of archetype attack Defense You know you got your tanks

[00:43:49] You got your healings, etc However they all level up Kind of like independently And the leveling up can give you different versions Of that same character So one of the main guys is a standard shooter With a pistol called Lennox And when you first get him

[00:44:04] If you dodge You reload your weapons Which is a pretty interesting little mechanic that he has But if you level them up later on You can get a separate skin of his And then that separate skin has a mechanic to where

[00:44:15] It's like okay now you have extra ammo In both of your guns Or a higher clip Or just say like you know Big or mag in both of your guns So then you can kind of choose between Am I going to play the same character

[00:44:25] Where I have 10 shots instead of 8 shots And finish somebody off quicker Or am I going to put myself in a situation To where I need to like Dive out of the way to reload my guns faster It's small things that make it So that you're playing against

[00:44:37] The same you know I think they have maybe 18 to 16 characters Across the entire game You can have 10, 5 different archetypes Of the same ones So you're not playing the same Enemy over and over and over again You kind of have to take into account What specialty things they have

[00:44:54] But it's interesting Yeah like APNASIS Yeah well see that's what I was thinking about too Is like You talk about different specialties Like the archetypes Is there like multiple choices You can make and then like Oh what's my gun upgrade What's my body upgrade

[00:45:09] As far as armor or movement Or something like that Is like one character with 5 different variations Or is it like Mortal Kombat 11 Like variations on each thing It seems like it's more of like One character with 5 different variations And then you do have your differences

[00:45:24] Like you can get different gloves Or different hats And different things for your guns But those are all cosmetic And everything I've seen so far I guarantee you they will monetize it Look this is a game that Sony is going to 100% fuck up in the future However

[00:45:38] Right now you could unlock Most of the stuff by just playing through the game As you level up your main profile It gives you different gloves And doing missions that are called Like your dailies Your weeklies Your seasons And then your overall free running missions

[00:45:53] Those can give you different items For those characters Like your gun charms And gun skins And your defeat pose As well as your victory pose Stuff like that Of course it all seems in game so far It all seems in game so far

[00:46:07] And I know different customized things My question for you though Is that as the Overwatch God As like that guy who completely decimated everybody Back in 2012 Whenever the hell Overwatch first came out Like does this have the juice Does this have the juice to have like

[00:46:25] Continuity into the future To like get people to play it as much As people still play Overwatch 2 In whatever iteration that game is in today Yeah for whatever reason That's free Yeah now that it's free exactly Honestly I would say no

[00:46:40] This definitely does not have as much style As the original Overwatch 1 did Which is part of the reason that brought me in It was like you know You got Disney characters And they're all kind of fighting each other So it was very interesting

[00:46:51] And it was really cool that way Everyone had a really nice unique style This one people definitely have more unique styles But since they go for a slightly more Realistic looking look It loses a little bit of that flavor So even though you have really cool

[00:47:05] Big robot characters that his whole Stick is that he has a vacuum gun That sucks up items And then you can shoot those items out at people But he doesn't really have something That kind of gives him an oomph Like he looks cool He's got a cool weapon

[00:47:18] But if I saw him in a lineup I wouldn't be able to kind of Immediately know what he does Until I start playing as him And I think that's probably the problem With the main cast of characters That I see so far

[00:47:28] Is maybe only a handful of them You can kind of see as like An outline or silhouette Like oh they do this They're good for this Outside of like the bigger enemies Or rather the bigger free runners That are of course tanks But everybody that's like mid-size

[00:47:45] You can't really tell if they're a healer Or if they're an attack person Or what by just looking at them You know Sony should just let this game Die on the Great Vine And make another hero shooter But make it a... Because this is a PlayStation exclusive

[00:52:27] So you know I will tell you This one is unique Because this is like Ubisoft trying to go back To their roots I feel like there's a lot Of media coverage of that Point specifically for this game For Mirage But it's a return to Baghdad

[00:52:39] You play as Basim Who is an assassin That appears in Assassin's Creed Valhalla He's like a mentor Or like a contact point For Avor Who is the protagonist For Assassin's Creed Valhalla But in Mirage You go like into the past Into his like origins

[00:52:53] Like where he came from Because he's kind of like The new guy I think they want to kind of Fill him as like The new Ezio Or maybe the new Altair But I don't think He has that much juice In terms of character writing

[00:53:03] Ubisoft has lost the plot When it comes to character writing Anymore I just don't know If they have it What it takes to write Good characters But the story In this game Like the overall like Narrative arc was Surprisingly cool And I will say

[00:53:17] I mean I have 40 hours And I got the platinum You don't have to You don't have to get the platinum You could finish this in 25 hours Based on how long to be And like I would say That the progression system For unlocking All of the different skills

[00:53:30] That you have Like the tools Whether it's going to be The Noisemaker Or the Trap Or the Blowdarts The throwing knives are awesome Like the throwing knives Will auto lock on enemies And so there were points Where it's like I leveled up my skill tree Enough

[00:53:43] And then I was crouching And I was moving through The stealth areas The stealth is really good And the enemies will notice you But you can start You can speedrun these games You can get into like An area where it's like A restricted area

[00:53:55] And then just go into Stealth mode And just start like Sprinting across And like eliminating The different like Enemies And whether they're like You know eagle eye Enemies or big brutes That are there It's really fun The combat You like They very much made a point

[00:54:11] Of having the combat Be like not as fun As some of the games Because the combat in Valhalla Was actually pretty cool Because you could build your loadout Walk around with a great sword Like you're in fucking dark souls And just Absolutely decimate people with it

[00:54:23] Which is like The antithesis to like What Assassin's Creed is But like this one in Mirage They very much wanted you to like Nah You should be assassinating people Like in like Combat is a very like Last chance scenario Where it's like

[02:10:06] But it's also when i'm playing these kind of multiplayer games like this. I don't like This game with the operators that you have to choose from Similar to the cards of yesteryear where it's like everyone had a special move that this guy did a ground slam

[02:10:21] That would one shot you and this guy pulled a flamethrower out of his asshole And I was like, I don't like that. I'm running around the corner And I'm like, okay, I feel prepared to know what to do etc

[02:10:30] And then some guys just like has a turret setup ready to drill my forehead And I was like, okay this person and I was like, oh and this person can pull a Anti-aircraft gun out of their ass like it doesn't have to be something that they

[02:10:43] Bought into and do but it's just a part of their operators kit. You know, I was like there is I don't know what are there were there 12 maybe more maybe like 14 different operators Everyone has their own unique thing of like varying

[02:10:55] You know some are completely ass like the one guy apparently has a station mounted turret Like the vulcan and I thought it looked really cool magnet Yeah, and exactly I thought it looked really cool. And then you go online everyone's like

[02:11:07] This is the worst fucking thing in the entire game. It is horrible. And I was like, oh, okay Well, that's great Every time I say that go Free points

[02:11:20] Yep, it's just it's so interesting and it just makes it so that like knave said, you know, you're an ant And on a giant battlefield. So you're running around I don't have time to sit there and like tactically analyze what every single character is and what they have

[02:11:32] So you don't really know what they have until you're already bleeding out waiting for somebody to come to the defibrillator to Bring you back to life Oh man, that happened so much though. So much revivings in this game

[02:11:46] Yeah, we were playing I was playing with nick just before we started recording and I got 50 I got number one revives in the whole match. I got 58 revives. I was just running around like fucking They're so I was getting like adrenaline rushes from reviving people

[02:12:01] Like I was like and sometimes I would revive someone and then I would get down and then they turn around and come back and save me And I'm just like, thank you. Uh, thank you big dick will You're welcome

[02:12:16] Makes battlefield different than the call duties and reviving is a big part of it Like that has been in a lot of the battlefields. I remember the old like battlefield two or three

[02:12:24] They literally pull out a syringe. We've kind of moved away from that and they just stab people with syringes So you're just the prone guy walking around giving people

[02:12:33] Yeah, it's just so funny to me how like the the animation for like pick reviving somebody is like stabbing yourself with a syringe Like they didn't create a separate animation for like, oh, that's good

[02:12:44] Just in uh the dead space one. It's I feel no because it did the same thing The same thing in the yeah in the gamemodes that we played with naïve. Yeah Oh, that's weird. Yeah, it was strange. I wouldn't know. I was the medic 100

[02:12:57] Paddles. Yeah, I use my little Shocked there with Philip was saying too. That's like what kind of leans me towards not saying that is no no Once again, not terrible but still kind of bad

[02:13:06] But I do appreciate that it is different than your average shooter to wear the classes Once again, not a fan of the operators, but the classes themselves You got your normal soldier class. You have your engineer class

[02:13:16] You have your medic class and then you have your recon class I appreciate that those are all different and they have their place. I love that Section that naïve was talking about there. I think people playing to their classes strengths

[02:13:26] I don't want somebody who's a healer or a medic, you know getting 500 kills per game like that's silly But being able to go through and revive 100 people per match and then get top of the leaderboard because you're playing

[02:13:38] How your class is supposed to play? I think it's cool same with the recon You know, you get a sniper class guy And yeah, you should be getting kills but throw out your your drone and go scan a bunch of people

[02:13:47] So you're getting a bunch of assist by scanning folks and then helping your friends see them through walls and shoot them Like that's what you should do versus your standard cod fare where everyone's just running around jumping and shooting And get the kill streaks. Yeah

[02:14:01] All right, so let's go into the game modes There's conquests. This is like the biggest one where it's just like points on a map and everyone goes in fights for him This one had a lot of vehicles. This is just pure chaos

[02:14:12] We talk about war never changes or war is hack or whatever like this is just pure chaos constantly going through And you can have 128 players in one match and it feels like 128 that is too much players I love it. I think it's awesome though

[02:14:28] It is awesome. We keep talking about the map whenever you're spawning in you can see a bunch of shit But you see all the people that have been spotted like world of tanks style that are on people's radars

[02:14:38] But also you see the gunfire like you see bullets flying fucking everywhere and I think it's fake I don't know if it's real or not

[02:14:44] But like what so you can spawn on your squad as long as they're not getting shot at and like I I could I like I was watching uh, nick in a spot and I'm like dude. You got to get out of combat

[02:14:53] So I can spawn on you. He's like, okay, and I just see bullets flying past him and I'm like god damn it You gotta get out of there It's so good It's so interesting The next two modes is like breakthrough in front lines

[02:15:09] This is where it's like a tug-of-war situation Or either one side is just mostly defending while the other side just on slots onto him Me and nape played one of these where I'm like jenna's like about to go to bed, you know, just tired

[02:15:19] Whatever I'm like, okay. I'll be up after this match. All right nape. This is the last one And we proceed to play for another like 40 minutes of us There's a war surviving against the horde hamburger hill like they're pushing us back every step of the way

[02:15:33] And it literally turns into full unlike trench warfare of them just trying to see this hill And we're just posted up nape just constantly arriving I'm trying to get upper upper points on the hill so I can like shoot down on them

[02:15:44] And I'm like, oh my god nape one got me and you just see a guy with a shotgun like blow my head off then do Land in the mix of all our guys

[02:15:58] He's just a regular looking dude, so it's hard to do cyber because there's 20 people in the crowd Yeah Cluster grenades constantly and so like And then more grenades will just appear. I'm like, oh

[02:16:11] Who has the cluster grenades like what what class has one of you if it was the sundance I think or something like that Is like eight seconds It's crazy because like there'll be more than one and like you I'll see someone go down to a cluster grenade

[02:16:30] They're like revive me. They reached their hand out to me. They're like, please And I come up my paddles because yeah, I come with the paddles because I'm like there can't be another cluster grenade

[02:16:39] They just used it and there is another one and I can pull it up by that as I'm healing them and we both die and I'm like, okay everyone Oh So these games get wild it's it's it's weird like you talk about like oh

[02:16:53] immersion and gaming and stuff like that But it felt like a full-on battle for war Like I was getting my blood was thumping in my ears as we were trying like we have to hold this hill Is our last point they have 700 lives

[02:17:06] But we need to drain their lives. Let them, you know, break their bones against the wall That is our guns or whatever. Yeah poetic saying would be Well, no, I couldn't I couldn't agree with you more

[02:17:19] There was one I can't remember which map it was navel where we were playing and like we had been struggling against this team This team was good as fuck at defense. They had a lot of snipers They had a lot of people ducking out around corners

[02:17:31] Cluster bombs everywhere. Yeah, a max wall hacks, you know The fucking, you know the sweaty neck beard perverts and in like The thing was there was one point in time where our team got enough kills where we started pushing

[02:17:44] And then all of them started rushing into the entry points to like the enemy And I was like, let's go and they was like Like there there are moments in this game were like wait a second. I kind of get it. I kind of get it

[02:17:59] This is fucking cool. Yeah, it is a game built on moments for sure There was this one part where Nick was in this game with me too and Rachel's playing with me and Nick the whole time, but

[02:18:08] I was I was we were falling back and I was like, we got it. We lost. We gotta get back guys We gotta get back and I turn around and they're like us. This is the horde

[02:18:17] Is like coming out of this one fucking thing and then there's like four or five of us just let this is like 128 or 124 player game And so like four of us out of the whole 64 of our team is like in this one spot

[02:18:30] And we just look at each other and it's like the halo reach moment where we're like, we're not making it out of here And so we start gunning into the fucking horn It belts there's just like sometimes you just get in these battlefield moments

[02:18:42] That's like a thing they use in their marketing campaigns, but it's real in in these games Like there are just moments where it's like this would never happen in halo Like there's I don't know how this would be recreated in halo. Like you just

[02:18:53] It'd be awesome if a rate of dudes are just like we have to hold the line Can you imagine if halo infinite had a 128 player match mode? That would be awesome It'd be it'd be awesome because there's only 128 people playing the game still

[02:26:55] I'll be the guy and so Anything else Ammo pack this one has a syringe gun this one I don't know. Just some other One of the medics is so fucking random because they have a Wall that you can like block off

[02:27:13] Areas with or they have the second option, which is like super rare to have two different options on one operator But they also have that um Machine you can throw out that'll shoot down throwable. So if people try to bomb you with the

[02:27:27] Autopilot down exactly. Yeah, it has a trophy system And I was just like why the fuck does the medic have this like shouldn't that be with the engineer? What's going on here? They just got bored

[02:27:37] Okay, probably was like oh shit. I forgot someone needs this we designed this So this is gotta go to someone did did any of y'all get the opportunity to like Fly a plane or a helicopter or drive a tank or anything like that

[02:27:50] Do you have is it is the funny thing about About the jets and shit in battlefield is that like they are supposed you have to learn how to actually buy them And so the but the mean is that like you'd wait for like three hours

[02:28:03] So you finally get the jet and then you immediately take off and fly directly And that is a universal experience in battlefield or like you flip the helicopter somehow Yeah, it's like you see a buddy get a helicopter and you're like he's like load up

[02:28:19] They have miniguns on the side and you're like And they just take up You just can't sleep crash killing like five of your guys on one board So it's like it's like Microsoft flight simulator inside of battlefield 2042

[02:28:40] That's the funny thing is like they're difficult to fly but I Really can't say that they're realistic The big thing aside from the fact that they are hard to fly as well

[02:28:49] Is that you're playing this game with no potentially 64 enemies all looking up at the sky at you All of them have the ability to have rpgs and like anti

[02:29:01] So you like you get you know two feet off the ground you get into the oh, yeah, let's start shooting up some people We're in some heavy combat right now target rich environment Spamming the anti

[02:29:22] Things which I think you only have like two or three like on each of your You know your air vehicles So yeah, you're spamming that shit you're empty immediately and then you're like up shit time to jump out into enemy territory

[02:30:08] They call the portal where the custom games are and most of them seem to be like farm gun experience for attachments 99 hours of low Every single game that has something like this like it's in fortnight as well

[02:30:22] Fucking I make fun of rachel for this for all the time, but like she's she she The battle pass comes out and then for like days. She's like I got to grind the battle pass So she is mining a rock in a custom game

[02:32:56] Like I don't know what the fuck is going on, but like there's some weird bug Like stapling people's accounts to things she literally the only way that she could play is if she got on her daughter's xbox account

[02:39:07] But like I I sat there and grinded through for a while I think i'm like halfway through the battle pass at this point and I have like 400 points I think it's like 1500 or something like that or whatever to get the skin. I'm like there's no fucking way

[02:39:19] It's not ridiculous, but I remember specifically hearing like there was news I I don't know if I read this or if I was listening to one on a podcast somewhere

[02:39:28] But apparently obviously there was news that came out that the death space remake sales performance were not up to ea's expectations They were like and that was kind of the nail in the coffin for the the remakes that were for this game

[02:39:42] Which was like super distressing to me because i'm such a death space stan But like apparently the team that they had ea motive Working on that was actually reassigned to work underneath dice to assist with battlefield 2042

[02:39:57] And my only imagination is this is the fucking mode that they were assisting with that they reassigned dice from like actually I don't believe it on a good game and like this is what they were sent to go do

[02:40:08] I'm sure you're talking about like fortnight festival because they bought the rock band dudes and in everyone's like What the fuck is rock band dudes gonna do? Yeah Yeah, no, I'm sure that that was serviceable and like people apparently love that across the board

[02:40:23] I mean they're fucking you got the weekend and fucking katie parent all this shit You know doing like you know concerts inside of fortnight. Whereas like this is just

[02:40:40] And it's just like has nothing to do. Yeah the art. That's a little out of touch Very bad Especially too because you can't bring in or even like have your weapons be unique and custom so You can unlock I think at least two if not maybe just one

[02:40:56] Dead space ask skins for a specific gun But you can't ever use it in the game type because the guns all in there are yeah, they're in base a lot of loadouts Yeah, yeah And you can't even Guns

[02:41:11] Yeah, like that would be fucking cool if they literally just ported all the dead space guns and you were walking around Like a line gun chopping them off at the legs or something And then those and then those games and then those guns were in the normal game

[02:41:25] So you could just use the line gun and just it'd just be a shotgun or something You know what I mean? It's like why not like just throw some it's 2042 Maybe there is a line. Maybe the Geneva convention is gone and like the line gun exists

[02:41:36] Get some players out there people now Yeah All right, so or that gun that blows your skin off like So we've kind of just around it, but this is just a horde Pushing map kind of where it's like it's a map from the game like the base game

[02:41:55] And you just progress section by section through the facility In each point you just got to hold out for a little bit and then you got to Stand by a couple boxes and wait for little tickers to go while you're killing things while fighting the default

[02:42:10] Work in joe models or whatever that walked towards you with wrenches and stuff And like how you talked about them the the unreal Five yes the default. Yeah, that's exactly what they look like Yeah, so uh

[02:42:23] I didn't play too much of this. I I was pretty drunk. I played it Last night and I was very drunk and uh apparently I fell asleep on the couch playing it with with rachel and their friends

[02:42:34] So that sounds that sounds all right. Well, the thing is there's no Randomation and no variance. It is scripted spawn point by spawn point move by move everything is the exact same It's not like leford edward. It's like, oh, maybe the med packs are over here this time

[02:42:49] Or maybe the point you got to hold out on is over of no It is everything is in the exact same place and that's fine for something like call of duty zombies Where it's like you have a strategy and you think tactically

[02:43:03] But you could be a complete dumbass and probably still beat this mode because there's only one difficulty And I think when we played together We made it to the final chapter and then died or something the final event and that sucks, but

[02:43:18] Without having to plan it was like the second time you guys had ever played it and we almost beat the whole thing That's not a good testament of like a high skill ceiling But I get it's a one-time event for that's only a week long but

[02:43:31] This is this feels like a slap in the face for dead space fans Maybe if you're a battlefield fan, you just don't care. You're like more content cool I'll play this for two minutes and go back to the regular game

[02:43:42] But that's exactly like to your point like who is this for like because it's not really for battlefield fans Because I can only imagine the battlefield fans already know that this Containment mode or whatever they call this mode is like trash as it is

[02:43:55] Outbreak like so they're already not playing that and then it's not for dead space fans because this has Literally nothing to do with dead space other than the skin that you can buy of isaac larkin store so it's just like

[02:44:08] It's just it's just literally just one-for-one ea capitalizing on their own ip for no real reason And I know it's a cash grab, but it's like it's a stupid cash grab because like when you make moves like this as a company

[02:44:22] You are lessening the impact of your own ip Right like like it's it's kind of similar to Like star wars like the more star wars used to be this like sanctified like thing back in the early 2000s because we only had like Three movies, right? The main character

[02:44:41] Here we go Fucking go Right, but seriously like when you when you start like doing You start like trying to like just pump out more content over and over and over again And you overexpose your own ip and like just it just lessens the impact

[02:44:59] It just lessens how special that can be and this is mishandling of the death space ip in my opinion I know exactly what this is for This is for people that want to buff up their

[02:45:11] Types of weapons if you want to buff up types of like armor and items because I played for a little bit And it was a while where I was just kind of playing solo running through just to see what was the spark

[02:45:21] What made this unique? What made it special which the answer is nothing However, there are a couple of items and things like uh, there's an auto scanning item that you can pick up and then there's

[02:45:31] I think another thing for like ammo boxes where you can just grind those levels out So I have like max level scanning item. I have like max level

[02:45:42] Character where little character called dozer that has a shield where I just like stood in front of a door as enemy spawn They kept punching them over and over again So I was doing that in an achievement pop It was like oh

[02:45:53] You can literally just play this game mode and I unlock like 10 rare achievements on xbox by just grinding out stuff like 20 melee kills in one round Yeah, like I kind of got so many rare achievements and headshots stuff like that We're just fucking hilarious because like

[02:46:11] Isn't death space all about shooting the lift? I don't know You know, but literally the first time I played it. I had a shield guy that ran over and just stay it stood in front of the phone booth Got choking up

[02:46:24] They just stood in front of the phone booth and just pushed them back into the phone booth Repealing And I'm just standing there. I'm like reminds me of high school. Is this the game? They're just shoving these zombies in the locker and now I'm wondering

[02:46:38] There's never that many spawn lockers They only come from so many points if we just ran a four man team of riot shields Could we just spawn lock all the enemies literally could especially because I don't think the riot shield

[02:46:49] Hell yeah, like you have to get shot in the back or something So you can just sit there and smash people in the face They have a shotgun enemy that is really annoying because they throw out smoke grenades

[02:46:58] But if you're in their face, they try to either shoot you or stab you with a knife And neither of it did anything to the riot shield So I was just sitting there locking down in entire areas of the map. It was really depressing

[02:47:09] I was the barricade guy that would drop like a shield wall And I was using that in just choke points and the ai would just stand on the other side Yeah, they wouldn't try to mantle it They wouldn't mantle It's bad

[02:47:21] Yeah, like there was one point where you and I were playing fill up and we were in the map with fill and like We found like like it was like an open jungle area with like like

[02:47:31] Buildings and like there's a stairwell that like went up to like this top area that you can review and do like cover fire Or something like that and literally just throwing a barricade on the stairs was like a fucking like gut punch to these ai

[02:47:44] Like, you know bots that were running right. They couldn't fucking deal with it It's fucking crazy because like even the Silent Hill two nurses in the remake are gonna mantle So it's like Come on Are you playing that game?

[02:48:00] Yeah, they can't do it. They just sometimes we get stuck and they would yeah, so they would just sit there and like stare at you Manusingly dude, it's like yo if you get a marker and draw a circle around an ant that dude's done

[02:48:22] To be fair if god came down and drew a circle around me. I'm like there's no fucking way I'm moving Good. All right at this point we've been going on for a while

[02:53:11] So it just is kind of the the unfortunate part of it at this point But still the multiplayer part itself is fun enough to check out The all the other battlefields do have a single player. Oh, so like even even one

[02:56:31] And there are other games that try to emulate that but I nothing ever gets nearly as close Like if you want to play isonzo, I promise go pull up pull up on ea play or game pass and play battlefield one for a little bit
