[00:00:00] Intro Music

[00:00:13] Serious Mode, no more goofing off.

[00:00:15] Dude today has been one.

[00:00:18] Alright, I got these little Budweiser's here for a reason.

[00:00:22] Mostly, you know what's bad when I'm drinking Budweiser because I didn't have energy to go a block away to get better beer.

[00:00:29] Like I just went to the corner store on the way home.

[00:00:32] You went to the store?

[00:00:33] Yeah, and I got some stupid ass Budweiser's because it's been one.

[00:00:38] It's been one.

[00:00:39] Yeah, dude.

[00:00:40] Everything was late.

[00:00:41] Everything was late.

[00:00:42] I started my fucking route like an hour and a half late, which means I came home like an hour and a half late.

[00:00:48] And then my Internet was so I'm late to the episode again because my Internet was fucking down.

[00:00:54] So I was just eating spaghetti without YouTube because my phone was dead.

[00:00:58] Oh no.

[00:01:00] That's the saddest existence.

[00:01:01] You're just sitting there.

[00:01:02] You look like that Pedro Pascal meme of him just eating.

[00:01:06] It's even more sad because it is a muggy windy day and I opened my windows up.

[00:01:11] So just all I hear is wind.

[00:01:13] That's the only thing I hear.

[00:01:15] As I slurp up my spaghetti.

[00:01:18] Oh my God.

[00:01:20] And oh, guess what?

[00:01:21] Look at that.

[00:01:22] See how fucking disgusting my house is?

[00:01:24] Because my dog.

[00:01:25] Were you robbed?

[00:01:26] My dog, my dog robbed my trash can.

[00:01:29] Molly fucking ripped everything open.

[00:01:31] And so I ate my spaghetti and went and laid down.

[00:01:35] And then I came in here.

[00:01:37] You would be like as red as it gets like you like the room score is through the floor.

[00:01:41] Hygiene's down.

[00:01:42] I'm hungry.

[00:01:43] I was worried you were going to immediately make fun of me because you know I'm sensitive about my apartment.

[00:01:48] And are you?

[00:01:49] Because I have my you in the past and you have not changed.

[00:01:53] Well, I'm sensitive.

[00:01:54] I'm sensitive.

[00:01:55] That doesn't mean I'm going to change.

[00:01:57] OK, but that was not my fault.

[00:02:00] I didn't do that.

[00:02:02] You didn't take a trash bag and rip it open.

[00:02:05] All of your living room.

[00:02:07] You know, I get really mad at Bellatro when I feel like I should win.

[00:02:12] All right, let's get in there.

[00:02:14] Hello and welcome to Gaming Together, a cooperative podcast.

[00:02:16] I'm your host, Philip, and I'm here with my co-op partner, Nave.

[00:02:18] Each pod we play through a cooperative experience and relate to you the listener.

[00:02:21] This game is a criminal crime of cop or something better off playing solo.

[00:02:24] My cat is just going wild.

[00:02:27] Hey, what's popping?

[00:02:30] Nothing.

[00:02:31] I got it off my chest already.

[00:02:33] All your your tough feelings.

[00:02:35] Well, we are a video games podcast and we're going to be talking about the quarry.

[00:02:39] But before we get there, Nave, let's just check in with what we have been playing.

[00:02:44] Hello, I've been playing.

[00:02:46] Well, so this will knock one off of the name with Nave been buying section.

[00:02:51] Placid plastic duck simulator, which is what do you think this is?

[00:02:58] OK, it first made me doubt my vocab because I'm like, I'm not sure what placid means.

[00:03:03] I think that means unmoving, right?

[00:03:05] Or like still. Yeah.

[00:03:07] Yeah. And plastic plastic is usually, you know, made of a petroleum product and duck is a water critter.

[00:03:14] Half water, half line type.

[00:03:16] All your conchie studies paying off so far.

[00:03:19] It's all coming together and simulator is just like, you know, it simulates what a real environment would be with the predecessor words.

[00:03:27] So this is a or sometimes ironic.

[00:03:30] It's a nonmoving plastic duck simulator.

[00:03:34] What do you think you do in this game?

[00:03:36] Do you watch a nonmoving plastic duck and not move?

[00:03:40] Yep, it's great.

[00:03:42] And can you customize the duck because I know a photo.

[00:03:45] Oh, you can't because you shared a photo, I assume a screenshot of a duck in a pond or a pool.

[00:03:50] It's a pool. It looks like a waterpark pool actually with a top hat and a Sherlock Holmes style pipe.

[00:03:59] So what happens is every three minutes, another duck is dropped in.

[00:04:04] So and it's RNG which duck you get.

[00:04:06] So you sit there watching the ducks that you have until a new duck appears.

[00:04:10] And whenever you start getting uncommon and rare ducks, they actually do stuff.

[00:04:16] What? No way.

[00:04:18] Yeah. So there's like a duck that's a submarine that goes underwater, just starts floating around like swimming around down there or like there's a Godzilla duck that breathes fire.

[00:04:26] And if you have the wood duck and it's unfortunate enough to go in front of the Godzilla duck when the Godzilla duck breathes fire, then the wood duck will catch on fire.

[00:04:36] And then if you have a candle duck and the candle duck goes by the duck that has the, you know what I mean?

[00:04:43] It just goes up and up and up. It's crazy.

[00:04:46] But nothing moves. So it's really just the water carry. You know how things just kind of drift a little bit.

[00:04:52] Yeah, some fluid dynamics. I got you.

[00:04:55] Yeah. And you just kind of sit there and listen. So you just watch that and you do nothing. There's no controls.

[00:04:59] I mean, the A button quacks and like you can like the cameras. Yeah, you can turn the cameras.

[00:05:04] They're different camera angles. There's a radio playing.

[00:05:07] Do the radio. It is like some kind of Spanish radio station that is just playing random shit.

[00:05:14] And then there's quacks like in intermittently in the music. It's pretty awesome.

[00:05:18] So I legitimately just when I bought this for like four bucks or something, I don't know.

[00:05:25] I just sat there for like two and a half hours just watching this shit.

[00:05:30] Like, I don't know what happened. I just get every time in this one, dude, every time I was about to stop playing,

[00:05:36] I would realize I was close to getting my next duck. And I was just like, wait a minute.

[00:05:42] This is the worst thing. Gotcha games at this point.

[00:05:46] Like this at least got you. They pretend there's gameplay while you are collecting the things.

[00:05:52] Whereas this is like you're collecting the things and that is the gameplay.

[00:05:55] Yeah, it's bad. It really I got almost all the achievements in it now.

[00:05:59] There's achievements. Was it just for getting ducks and they bump into each other?

[00:06:04] Yeah, dude, some of them are intricate.

[00:06:07] Like what like one of them is like a duck with a propeller hat that flies for a second.

[00:06:11] And it needs to get out into the ocean and escape, like escape the plot and just didn't float away.

[00:06:20] Some of the intense. This is weird because it feels like a combination of like watching the DVD logo

[00:06:25] and hoping to get lands perfectly in the corner.

[00:06:28] It's exactly that experience.

[00:06:30] You have to get your your wood duck on fire and then the fireman duck has to put him out.

[00:06:35] So every time the fireman duck and the wood duck are next to each other, I'm like, oh, is this it?

[00:06:40] And then it does. And then they miss by a little bit with the shoots water out of like, oh, man, we were right there.

[00:06:46] We got to wait another 10 minutes for them to float around.

[00:06:48] Yeah, but this is the thing.

[00:06:51] The water duck is constantly pushing itself because it's like space.

[00:06:55] It's like hardships, ship breaker or whatever.

[00:06:57] Yeah, it's like pushing itself force.

[00:07:00] It's fucking dumb.

[00:07:01] Nobody waste your money on it, but I like it a lot.

[00:07:05] And I guess you mentioned gotcha games.

[00:07:07] This is another game I'm playing or I played.

[00:07:10] I'm done with it, but it's called Sky Survivors that I bought for like one dollar on sale.

[00:07:17] And it is just you called it right before we started recording.

[00:07:21] You're like this looks like Vampire Survivors.

[00:07:23] That's what it is.

[00:07:25] Except it's it's vertical or how do I explain this?

[00:07:28] It's like vertical.

[00:07:30] It's a Mario.

[00:07:31] It's a Mario.

[00:07:32] And I got all the achievements in one run and then I deleted the game.

[00:07:37] So I mean that you know, it's no big deal and it's not great.

[00:07:41] But if you want a thousand gamers score, there are worse games.

[00:07:46] Other than that, speaking of worst games, I've been I talked about Bellatrio.

[00:07:51] That's what I've been playing while my Internet was out.

[00:07:53] And this game started growing on me a little bit.

[00:07:56] Oh, no.

[00:07:57] Before you played it, you're like, oh, man, I don't know about this game.

[00:08:00] I think everyone's overhyping it.

[00:08:02] And now you're going to tell me that is appropriately hyped.

[00:08:05] I don't think it's appropriately hyped.

[00:08:07] But I like a lot of streamers that I like.

[00:08:10] I just kind of passively listen to Twitch and YouTube and shit when I'm working every now and then I'll listen to Destiny because he's like doing all this political stuff that I'm kind of interested in tangentially, which by the way, World War Three almost happened.

[00:08:23] That was crazy for the hundred thousandth time this year.

[00:08:26] Yeah, it doesn't matter.

[00:08:27] Nothing ever happens anyway.

[00:08:30] He'll be playing Bellatrio while he's talking to somebody.

[00:08:34] And I am like hearing the Bellatrio sounds and just going, man, neuron activate.

[00:08:41] Like I kind of want to play.

[00:08:43] Yeah, I hear a good run and I don't see what he played, but I hear it going to the end.

[00:08:48] It's going faster.

[00:08:50] I'm like, oh, fuck.

[00:08:51] I don't know.

[00:08:52] Things are kind of fire.

[00:08:53] And then that's the thing.

[00:08:54] As soon as I came home and as soon as I got my pity nap in, I started playing Bellatrio and my very first run was insane.

[00:09:03] Like it was a flush run.

[00:09:05] I've never done flushes before.

[00:09:06] I've almost always like committed to like two pairs or something like that.

[00:09:10] But I got a really crazy flush run.

[00:09:12] And so basically what I got was like a card that says instead of a flush having to be the exact same suit, it only has to be the same color.

[00:09:20] So now I can just make flushes with reds or blacks.

[00:09:23] And I had every time I drew, I drew nine cards instead, which is one more than you usually do.

[00:09:29] So I was guaranteed to get a flush every hand.

[00:09:33] So no matter what, I always had a flush.

[00:09:35] I always had a flush.

[00:09:36] And so I just built around that and I got a card that said it was like every time you get a every time you play a spade, you get times one point five multiplier.

[00:09:49] OK, now I miss I miss explained the last card before.

[00:09:54] So I got to explain it again.

[00:09:55] It says all spades and clubs count as each other.

[00:09:59] So clubs kind of spades, spades, clubs, and then all hearts and diamonds count as each other.

[00:10:03] OK, that's specifically what the card says.

[00:10:05] That so now going back to the times five every time I got a flush that was black, I would get one point five times on each of the cards.

[00:10:14] Now I got another card that says copy the card on the furthest to the left.

[00:10:19] So now I did that also.

[00:10:21] And I so I got times one point five.

[00:10:24] It's not times three.

[00:10:25] It's different because one point five times, then one point five times again, which is better than times three because and then I actually got a flush.

[00:10:32] And then I was building, I got you.

[00:10:34] I was building cards with red seals, which means that you count those cards twice, which means that those cards one point five times twice on top of the two times it's already happening on top.

[00:10:45] And then I was also building these cards called steel cards, which are cards that give you one point five times if you don't play them.

[00:10:51] So it's like I was just like I was getting like five hundred thousand every hand.

[00:10:56] I was like one shotting every boss.

[00:10:57] One of the hardest bosses in the in the fucking game is the needle, which has killed so many of my runs, which says you can only play one hand and you have to be in one hand.

[00:11:07] I fucking obliterated that motherfucker on like round seven.

[00:11:10] So we had like three hundred four hundred thousand that I needed to get.

[00:11:14] And I just busted his ass.

[00:11:16] Now this next round I tried to play.

[00:11:18] I had to get I was doing this weird discard thing where I never discarded ever.

[00:11:23] But I had a bunch of different jokers that gave me a bunch of buffs for not discarding.

[00:11:27] Like one was like for every discard you have get 40 extra chips, which is like the points.

[00:11:33] And so I'm like, OK, I'm just going to build around that.

[00:11:36] And then I got pretty far.

[00:11:37] I got to the last row, but then I got killed by the needle again.

[00:11:40] And so it's like, OK, the needle is way too intense if you're not like playing something extremely broken.

[00:11:46] But I mean, honestly, that last that one hand, that one game I was just describing is the only one I've ever had.

[00:11:53] That was like really, really broken, like multiple times.

[00:11:56] I would have a million points at the end of the round.

[00:11:58] It is like it was so it was like, fuck, this is making my day actively better.

[00:12:03] Like all that shit I described in the beginning of the episode, it's all gone.

[00:12:07] Besides, the shit on my floor is still here.

[00:12:09] There's a lot of clean that up.

[00:12:12] But man.

[00:12:15] Melotro can actually get some serious dopamine kick and like, oh shit.

[00:12:22] And then the opposite of dopamine, which is Red Dead 2, I'm about halfway through.

[00:12:27] You get hyped playing Red Dead.

[00:12:29] Oh no. I mean, yeah, you get you get plenty hyped occasionally, but mostly it's a very down game.

[00:12:35] You're like kind of this is more of a simulator than the plastic duck simulator.

[00:12:40] You're like you are a cowboy.

[00:12:42] Most people have played this game before.

[00:12:44] There is an existential dread after you've beaten this game where like, holy shit.

[00:12:51] Like there is this one scene where someone gets kidnapped and then you go and rescue him.

[00:12:56] I'm not going to like super spoil it. It's a little spoiler, but it's not that crazy.

[00:12:59] So it's like someone gets kidnapped and you go rescue him and you come back to the camp and everyone's throwing a party.

[00:13:03] And Dutch, the leader, he's arguing with his wife or his girlfriend.

[00:13:08] I can't remember. And he's kind of wild up and he comes out and he starts doing telling the speech and he's talking about he's like,

[00:13:16] I it's like late at night and he's like, we are going to be free.

[00:13:20] And then lightning strikes like right then.

[00:13:23] And then he's talking more and he's talking more.

[00:13:26] And then he's like, but we deserve our freedom.

[00:13:29] And then lightning strikes again.

[00:13:30] And I was just like, oh my fucking God.

[00:13:33] Like, I'm pretty sure that's not RNG.

[00:13:35] I'm pretty sure that this is it's not scripted.

[00:13:38] I mean, like, I mean, it's out.

[00:13:40] It's like in the I could have walked away at any time.

[00:13:43] It's like not like a cut scene is what I mean.

[00:13:46] Like the conversation is yeah, everything's an engine.

[00:13:49] I don't know if the lightning was scripted, but it was so ominous because I've beaten this game that I was like, oh my fucking God.

[00:13:56] Like, like just the impending doom is so intense.

[00:14:01] And it's not even that I've beaten the game like anyone playing this game at this point is like, this is not ending good.

[00:14:07] Like they just keep going and keep going and keep going.

[00:14:12] They should stop. There's so many moments when they should have stopped and they never do.

[00:14:15] Oh man, I fucking love RDR2.

[00:14:17] So it's on the list. I'm going to play it eventually.

[00:14:20] I mean, you were playing it a little bit, weren't you?

[00:14:22] I thought you beat it.

[00:14:23] No, I picked it up whenever I was doing my year of 100 games or whatever.

[00:14:26] No, I picked it up.

[00:14:27] I played it and I'm like, oh man, this is a lot.

[00:14:30] I would be playing this for like over 50 hours.

[00:14:34] Like this is not an easy beat.

[00:14:37] And so it is down.

[00:14:39] Let me see how many hours I have in the game.

[00:14:41] I actually have my T.A. pulled up like right now.

[00:14:43] So hold on.

[00:14:44] I have a hundred and fifty five hours in this game.

[00:14:48] It's a single player game.

[00:14:49] I've never touched the multiplayer.

[00:14:51] The other.

[00:14:52] Well, if we go into games, I've been playing.

[00:14:54] I didn't put it in here, but I got a thousand points in Brotato.

[00:14:57] Talk about a waste of time.

[00:14:59] And I have like 30 hours in that game.

[00:15:02] I was considering trying to beat you to that.

[00:15:05] And then I just it you're right.

[00:15:07] It is a waste of time.

[00:15:08] I could never find a moment where I didn't write.

[00:15:11] I wouldn't rather play something else.

[00:15:13] I know, but it's so addictive and even snack back

[00:15:16] messaged me while I was playing that game.

[00:15:18] And he's like, that game is a waste of time with bullshit achievements.

[00:15:23] I just didn't reply because I'm like, he knows me.

[00:15:26] He does.

[00:15:27] He knows what I'm doing.

[00:15:29] Right.

[00:15:30] He just sees me on there for hours every day playing Brotato.

[00:15:35] But yeah, Brotato is good, but you don't need to get all the achievements.

[00:15:40] But it feels so good every time you want to run.

[00:15:42] Does it?

[00:15:43] I think I never felt good after I beat it.

[00:15:45] I was just like, well, I see the matrix now.

[00:15:48] Like, I don't know.

[00:15:49] I just never really struggled afterwards.

[00:15:52] Yeah, I usually won every run I tried to do.

[00:15:55] I mean, I always did the runs on like the lowest difficulty.

[00:15:57] Yeah, you need to because even then, like, I would still lose on the lowest

[00:16:01] difficulty sometimes if you get bad, you know, a bad, I don't know,

[00:16:04] like you took too many speed decreases and the enemies just overrun you or something.

[00:16:10] Dude, the the way the way that I knew I needed to stop playing was

[00:16:14] that I died twice, like two runs back to back because I zoned out

[00:16:18] and just died. I just stopped playing.

[00:16:20] My brain turned off like a fucking safety switch

[00:16:24] and fucking released in my brain to stop me.

[00:16:27] Yeah, but I did that in games.

[00:16:30] I'm actually enjoying that for my Japanese.

[00:16:32] I'm still playing Octopath Traveler 2.

[00:16:34] I even linked a little picture of my favorite dude, Oswald,

[00:16:37] because the first dude I picked was the samurai.

[00:16:39] I guess I thought he was really cool.

[00:16:40] But man, this wizard dude, he is one bad motherfucker.

[00:16:44] It feels like it almost feels like Death Note because he's like one

[00:16:49] of the few characters that spends actually a lot of time

[00:16:51] like getting his internal thoughts out,

[00:16:53] whereas everyone else is like talking to people going around.

[00:16:56] Oswald's like the fire revenge that burns in my heart will never be extinguished.

[00:17:02] Just like monologuing on the sea cliff as he's going to his revenge.

[00:17:06] I love him. I love the hardcore melodramatic dark wizard.

[00:17:12] That thing he's going on.

[00:17:14] Yeah, dark magician and stuff.

[00:17:16] I get it.

[00:17:17] And I love this art style too, because this is like I don't even know

[00:17:20] what to describe this. It looks like what was a game?

[00:17:24] Ogre, Ogre Tactics as well.

[00:17:26] Tactics Ogre.

[00:17:27] Yeah, Tactics Ogre, where it's like anime, but it's like fantasy

[00:17:32] western anime, if I could describe it that way.

[00:17:35] Not even like not like Freyrin, but like everyone actually has noses

[00:17:39] and beards and stuff like that.

[00:17:41] Yeah, like the original Final Fantasy game.

[00:17:43] Yeah, where it looks fantasy as hell.

[00:17:45] A game that looks kind of silly fantasy is I'm still playing Ni no Kuni 2,

[00:17:49] which I just noticed is like an Isekai as well.

[00:17:53] Because yeah, that dude, the adult with the ponytail or whatever,

[00:17:57] he's like a detective or a cop or something in the real world.

[00:18:00] And then he gets into a car related accident.

[00:18:03] I won't spoil or whatever.

[00:18:05] Well, I mean, that's Ni no Kuni 1, right?

[00:18:07] Is it the same character?

[00:18:08] No, and Ni no Kuni 1, your mom gets into the car accident

[00:18:12] before you go into a different world.

[00:18:14] So OK, so both of them are like Isekai things.

[00:18:17] Well, yeah, but the first one was different, though,

[00:18:20] because you weren't involved in the accident or whatever.

[00:18:22] Does Isekai, you got to be in an accident?

[00:18:25] I mean, Death Note isn't like not Death Note fucking the other one.

[00:18:29] The big one Sword Art Sword Art Online.

[00:18:31] There's no accident.

[00:18:32] You're just I mean, I guess.

[00:18:34] No, you're trapped there.

[00:18:35] That's not an Isekai or whatever.

[00:18:37] That's not no, it's like a hack slash.

[00:18:41] About the fucking slam dunk.

[00:18:43] No, don't hack sign type that type game.

[00:18:46] Not cap sign. Code Lyoko.

[00:18:48] Yeah.

[00:18:49] Where they go into a virtual world, it's not that I'm talking top.

[00:18:53] And the first thing is top Isekai animes, dude.

[00:18:56] The fuck this microphone is legit sending things.

[00:18:59] It is a hard line straight to Google.

[00:19:01] Oh, if we're getting technical on genres for anime, this.

[00:19:05] Oh, my God. All these look the same.

[00:19:06] Yeah, it's usually it's like that summer that I spent as a number one apprentice to the Blacksmiths Guild in another world.

[00:19:13] That's like usually the titles.

[00:19:16] I'm looking at the top one, so I'm probably not going to get any really, really dumb Sword Art on lines right there.

[00:19:21] Come on.

[00:19:22] What is this? Uncle from Another World?

[00:19:24] Some of these look good.

[00:19:27] I bet some of them are.

[00:19:28] Like, it's a big genre for a reason.

[00:19:31] Is Overlord a Isekai?

[00:19:34] I haven't seen Overlord.

[00:19:36] Dude, I typed in is OV and it says Overlord Isekai.

[00:19:40] What the fuck?

[00:19:42] Am I that predictable?

[00:19:43] I don't ever I didn't even know how to spell Isekai before.

[00:19:48] Yes, Overlord's an Isekai apparently.

[00:19:52] And that one's exactly the same as Sword Art where he went into the game and then got trapped.

[00:19:58] Have you seen Overlord?

[00:20:00] No, but I don't almost don't count ones where it's a game.

[00:20:04] Like, I feel like that's kind of cheap because it's like, yeah, I get a different world.

[00:20:08] But like.

[00:20:09] They're not if you're not going through some dimensional portal or dying or something like that, I don't know if it counts for me.

[00:20:15] And that was anime corner.

[00:20:17] I don't have any reply to that.

[00:20:19] I don't know.

[00:20:20] I don't even I only barely know what Isekai meant, so I didn't know if I was even right about that.

[00:20:25] While we're in anime corner, though, like I just watched they put out a 30 minute long special for Bluey about the sign where it's about them.

[00:20:34] So we have a dog, Bluey the dog.

[00:20:37] And dude, I almost cried like six times in this episode.

[00:20:40] It was brutal.

[00:20:42] But then again, I think I'm getting softer in my old age.

[00:20:46] Yeah, that's generally what happens.

[00:20:48] Dude, I'm like, watch as we have more experiences to pull from old and crusty and angry as they.

[00:20:54] You know, yes, but no.

[00:20:57] Like you get more you get more cemented in your ways, but you have more experience to pull from to be nostalgic and and longing for it.

[00:21:05] You know what I mean?

[00:21:06] That's why men that's why old men stare sit around the fire and talk about stuff.

[00:21:10] You know what I mean?

[00:21:11] But I don't have that experience like I'm watching Haiku or whatever the volleyball anime and I'm watching in Japanese also.

[00:21:17] And I'm tearing up like every other episode.

[00:21:20] That's it.

[00:21:21] And I didn't play sports.

[00:21:22] But that doesn't happen.

[00:21:23] But you played Halo.

[00:21:24] You understand competition.

[00:21:25] Oh my God.

[00:21:26] You're relating it to your reptilian brains relating it to things that way you can relate to the situation and learn from it.

[00:21:33] That's biological speak.

[00:21:36] Yeah, OK.

[00:21:37] Whatever.

[00:21:38] It's on Netflix.

[00:21:39] If you want to watch a sports anime that is really good, go watch it.

[00:21:44] I guess that's my games of him playing in my anime recommendations.

[00:21:49] My recommendation is no.

[00:21:51] Fuck you.

[00:21:52] The fucking at the end of this week, I'm going to be watching Spy Family.

[00:21:55] Are you going to go see Spy Family?

[00:21:57] Philip Spy Family in the White Gun or whatever it's called.

[00:22:00] I don't remember the full title.

[00:22:01] I don't remember the full title either.

[00:22:03] There's a movie.

[00:22:04] My family, the movie.

[00:22:05] Yeah, I'm going to go see in fucking IMAX, dude.

[00:22:08] I know you're going to see big on you.

[00:22:10] Oh, dude, I'm going to see Big Bond.

[00:22:13] I'm going to see big your time era.

[00:22:17] Twilight time era.

[00:22:19] Oh, yeah.

[00:22:20] I don't know what I don't know what the movie is going to be about, but I'm really excited.

[00:22:24] I've got to finish for iron.

[00:22:25] Like I've been putting that off so bad.

[00:22:28] Speaking of anime also, Metalocalypse is touring.

[00:22:31] I'm going to see them two days before I see fucking Spy Family.

[00:22:36] So I'm going to go see Metalocalypse, Necro Gobble con and Dragon Force.

[00:22:42] Do you fucking do you?

[00:22:44] Can you comprehend?

[00:22:45] And Necro Gobble con singer isn't there.

[00:22:47] So the fucking singer for infant Annihilator is going to sing for them.

[00:22:51] Holy shit, dude.

[00:22:52] I'm so excited.

[00:22:53] Like it's going to be intense.

[00:22:55] It's I don't I just all three of those bands just never I mean for them for one,

[00:22:59] Death Clock may never fucking tour again because I don't know what the fuck's going on with the licensing for all of that.

[00:23:04] Like that.

[00:23:05] I don't think that that show ended on good terms.

[00:23:07] Like I think that they wanted to make it more seasons and also fucked them.

[00:23:11] But I bet I might be making that up though.

[00:23:14] But, dude, I'm so fucking excited and I'm supposed to be guessing on a show on Thursday.

[00:23:18] I'm so fucking not that I don't want to guess on the show, but fucking Aylstorm.

[00:23:23] So it's Wednesday, Death Clock Thursday, Aylstorm.

[00:23:27] And then Friday.

[00:23:28] And then it would be Friday me going to see Anya and I'm just like or a Spy Family.

[00:23:32] And I'm just like, damn, I wish I fucking didn't.

[00:23:35] So if that fucking podcast falls through, you bet your ass when you go see Aylstorm also.

[00:23:39] I'm going to get white girl wasted, man.

[00:23:42] I'm going to get fucking so drunk.

[00:23:44] I'm going to get kicked out again.

[00:23:47] With your pirate metal.

[00:23:49] Yeah.

[00:23:51] Well, it sounds sick.

[00:23:52] OK.

[00:23:54] So you already covered the games that you bought, but I have an update.

[00:23:58] I'm about to hit.

[00:23:59] I think it's my 10 year anniversary of being married to my wife, Janna.

[00:24:02] And this is what she got me.

[00:24:04] Look at these sweet stands.

[00:24:06] I got them half filled with my physical games.

[00:24:09] Yeah, I know.

[00:24:10] It's been a long time.

[00:24:11] Man, I'm fucking getting sad now.

[00:24:14] Life is life is ending.

[00:24:16] We are getting old.

[00:24:18] Oh, God, I was reading something.

[00:24:19] What was it?

[00:24:20] It was like people you look into a photo from, you know, 150 years ago or whatever.

[00:24:27] And you can think about even like the children in the photo.

[00:24:30] They've already grown and died at this point.

[00:24:32] Everyone in any photo is living their life not knowing that they're creeping towards death.

[00:24:37] Like any photo we have this podcast we're recording right now, we seem to be completely unaware that we are just a moment in time that is being recorded at this point.

[00:24:46] And we're going to continue on till we die.

[00:24:48] And maybe 200 years from now, someone will listen to this podcast and think of how stupid and I don't know, ridiculously fake deep.

[00:24:56] We are whatever whatever talking about like they're like, wow, these guys, they suck.

[00:25:01] And then they're going to live on their lives like they don't even realize that they are also going to pass at some point.

[00:25:06] Dude, no, I am painfully aware.

[00:25:08] I'm going to die like I think about it all the time.

[00:25:11] Okay.

[00:25:12] So one thing I always think about is that in the mail, like you're sort of like death approaches, dude, aneurysms, the silent killer can happen anytime.

[00:25:20] I am going to get that's how I'm going heart attack aneurysm.

[00:25:24] Those two probably car crash.

[00:25:25] Maybe I'm in a car all the time.

[00:25:27] So statistically, I'm more likely to get into a car crash.

[00:25:29] But listen, I'm always thinking every time I'm listening to something, I think what if this was the last thing I thought I heard from my whole life.

[00:25:35] What if fucking Weezer was the last thing I listen to and then I had skipped like that.

[00:25:40] Ash by pork and beans is the last thing.

[00:25:45] You know, it's funny because like today we ate at like taco cabana or whatever.

[00:25:50] And I brought back the order.

[00:25:52] And of course, I didn't check it like a dummy and they always mess up our order.

[00:25:55] So I'm like, all right, I'll go back to get our order fixed or whatever.

[00:25:58] So I go back and I'm like, this would be such a weird time to die in Lee.

[00:26:02] Like I'm driving back across the highway and be like, Dad, when to go pick up taco cabana and as I'm driving under the overpass, hoping not to hit anyone.

[00:26:13] Dude, this shit fucking happens, man.

[00:26:15] That's fucking great. It's wild, man.

[00:26:17] I think about it all the time.

[00:26:18] I'm not joking at all.

[00:26:19] Like I'll tweet something and I go, what if that's the last thing I ever tweet?

[00:26:23] Like every time, like the last thing I tweet in a day is usually something positive because I think that I think what if I tweet something positive,

[00:26:30] because I think that I think what if I I'll say something kind of mean, I'm like, OK, I got to say something positive so that if in case I have a heart attack right this moment, I got to fucking get something out really quick.

[00:26:40] Like I think about it all the time.

[00:26:43] But if you're going to die, why do you really care that much about your last anything?

[00:26:47] I don't know.

[00:26:48] Then you have a whole life of everything before that.

[00:26:51] Yeah, well, I think so.

[00:26:52] There's this guy called his name is Donovan on Twitter.

[00:26:56] He went by a young real young Crip and he died suddenly.

[00:27:02] Like he was this dude in a wheelchair and he was like a really funny guy.

[00:27:05] If you watch John Tron, his his last appearance in a video that really on Crip guy was in that John Tron video.

[00:27:13] And then he died like a week later or something like this.

[00:27:15] It's fucking crazy.

[00:27:17] And so I love that.

[00:27:18] That was one of my favorite accounts on Twitter.

[00:27:20] And every now and then I go back and I like look at it for a while.

[00:27:23] He was like banned because he said he said wild shit.

[00:27:26] But like for a while he was banned.

[00:27:28] And so a lot of people kept going, hey, can we get this fucking account back or some shit?

[00:27:33] Eventually got unbanned for some reason.

[00:27:34] But I think I don't know.

[00:27:36] I just I know it's always on my mind.

[00:27:39] Anyway, we got to get the fuck out of this corner.

[00:27:41] I won't stop talking about another relieving happy anniversary slash death corner.

[00:27:48] Let's go into our was a Patreon corner.

[00:27:52] Yeah. So at this point, let's think our active patrons Berserker, this KO Caffe, Mr.

[00:27:56] Quang, Insane Cracker, Nick and I, the intergalactic pine cone.

[00:27:59] We are all eventually going to approach the grave.

[00:28:02] So before you get there, make sure you are fully subscribed to our Patreon.

[00:28:06] It's just like in Bellatro.

[00:28:08] It's just like in Bellatro where if you have 28 gold and you're about to go into a boss fight, you better use that gold because you might not make it out.

[00:28:15] And you're going to regret not using that money.

[00:28:17] So give us your money.

[00:28:19] Indeed.

[00:28:21] And with that, let's go right into the MIT asshole section is where we go online to Reddit and find some gamers that really need our help to identify if they are in fact assholes or not.

[00:28:31] We are flying through this one now.

[00:28:33] Are we?

[00:28:34] It's it's 30 minutes.

[00:28:36] And we usually take 40 minutes on the MIT asshole.

[00:28:39] This seems like normal.

[00:28:41] It feels like we're flying through that because I want to shut the fuck up.

[00:28:46] So I could not find any related to the quarry, oddly enough.

[00:28:51] I don't think that's odd actually.

[00:28:53] But I did find one related to leaving people to die.

[00:28:57] So all right, well, that's going to be a really happy episode.

[00:29:02] No, it's it's kind of it's like nerd culture related or whatever.

[00:29:06] And here we go.

[00:29:08] I linked it to you.

[00:29:10] This is a burner account was only one post that is this asshole from three years ago and he was labeled asshole by the community.

[00:29:18] But we'll see.

[00:29:19] We'll see.

[00:29:21] This is from caffeinated lure lure lure from from Oklahoma.

[00:29:28] So lure.

[00:29:30] Yeah, am I the asshole for telling my girlfriend I'd leave her behind in a zombie apocalypse?

[00:29:37] My ever got my 23 male.

[00:29:40] Oh, yeah, he's 23 male and his girlfriend's 19 female was watching me play the last of us two.

[00:29:46] Anyways, we were talking about the game.

[00:29:49] And then she asked me if I think I can survive a zombie apocalypse if it happened.

[00:29:54] And I said yes, but only if I left her behind.

[00:29:57] Period period.

[00:29:59] That was all one sentence.

[00:30:01] That was a big sentence.

[00:30:02] It was it was sort of a joke, sort of honest.

[00:30:06] My girlfriend got offended and she generally was angry about my answer.

[00:30:10] I don't understand how a hypothetical question would lead to drama, but it did.

[00:30:15] How can you not understand a hypothetical question leading to drama like that is half the use of hypothetical questions is like call me a lot of bullshit.

[00:30:23] Yeah.

[00:30:24] Would you love me if I was a sock?

[00:30:27] You got to say yes, yes, I would.

[00:30:29] I would get a I would get a nice drawer for you to live in that only you lived in no other socks.

[00:30:35] Oh my God.

[00:30:36] What is this word?

[00:30:37] Oh, you can't see me highlighting it because this isn't Google Docs.

[00:30:40] It says am I the asshole or is she being I don't want to say this word.

[00:30:44] Is it a fucking racial slur?

[00:30:46] What is it?

[00:30:47] So OK, take me to Google.

[00:30:49] Yeah, I'm like I'm going to need to need to Google that one.

[00:30:53] OK, so when I Google it, this would be different for you.

[00:30:56] But when I Google S OK, it's the Special Olympics of Oklahoma.

[00:31:00] No, when I Google it, I get a US word for a female crab.

[00:31:06] Wait, is it what is sukin British slang?

[00:31:09] A shy or cowardly child or person.

[00:31:12] So we got ourselves on the slaying.

[00:31:15] We got ourselves a red coat.

[00:31:16] So that makes sense why they don't understand feelings.

[00:31:20] Now, OK, so is this guy an asshole for saying that he'd leave her zombie?

[00:31:26] No, not really. But I mean, like.

[00:31:29] They're young.

[00:31:32] You can't just say that about everyone.

[00:31:33] Like these are their children. They're young.

[00:31:35] Anyone under 30, they're dumb. They're young.

[00:31:37] Yeah, they're young and dumb.

[00:31:39] She doesn't understand that he's just giving her the real honest answer.

[00:31:44] Like he wants her to like everyone.

[00:31:47] OK, whenever your girlfriend asks you anything, you need to do the answer that

[00:31:52] suggests you would die for them like or that you would do anything for them.

[00:31:57] That is always the answer if you have a significant other that is like this.

[00:32:02] If you have someone who likes to play in the abstract, like a case, someone interesting to be around,

[00:32:07] then like you go, you can go off on all kinds of sort of tangents.

[00:32:11] But you probably I bet if he told like a story and she got left behind in the story,

[00:32:17] maybe she wouldn't be mad about it as mad.

[00:32:20] Maybe she'd be a little disappointed.

[00:32:22] But if like he explained around it before he let her know that he probably would have to leave her behind,

[00:32:28] he's probably because there's a lot of things loaded behind that, as in like you would slow me down.

[00:32:33] You probably wouldn't.

[00:32:35] You would. I would have to defend you all the time.

[00:32:37] You wouldn't be able to survive like all of those things loaded behind that.

[00:32:41] So maybe I don't know.

[00:32:43] We don't know their relationship.

[00:32:45] We don't know if they're able to joke about stuff.

[00:32:48] I mean, the top comments kind of I feel like Henry, I'm pretty good because it basically seems like

[00:32:52] this makes it seem like if there was any real scenario, he's just going to abandon her.

[00:32:57] Maybe he would.

[00:32:59] World War Three starts and people start, I don't know, doing crazy shit.

[00:33:03] He's out of here.

[00:33:04] Yeah.

[00:33:05] Well, if World War Three starts, then if they're not together right away, then they're apart forever for the rest.

[00:33:11] Like that's the dumbest thing you could possibly.

[00:33:13] United after the war.

[00:33:15] No, I mean, maybe.

[00:33:16] But like I'm thinking nuclear fallout.

[00:33:18] World War Three, I think nuclear fallout.

[00:33:21] And the last thing you do after nuclear fallout is go out into the fallout.

[00:33:26] Right. You got to stay inside until you can no longer be inside anymore.

[00:33:31] Like that is like assuming you didn't get a fucking like you didn't get vaporized.

[00:33:36] Melted instantly.

[00:33:38] Yeah, the chick on the skeleton on the on the wall.

[00:33:41] I think about nuclear war a lot too, especially lately.

[00:33:44] So, Philip, you didn't hear about the fucking drones and Iran and shit.

[00:33:48] This will be old news by the time it comes out.

[00:33:50] What are we?

[00:33:51] Were we drone in them or they drone in us as someone else getting drone?

[00:33:54] I don't remember.

[00:33:55] I was watching it happen as I was watching Twitter as it happened.

[00:33:59] Right.

[00:34:00] And like so I got a bunch of misinformation.

[00:34:03] So it's like a bunch of like a bunch of Muslim letters saying shit about like how Israel got exploded.

[00:34:10] And then there's a bunch of fucking Israel flags saying, fight the power, all that shit.

[00:34:15] It's crazy. Twitter is a fucking nightmare.

[00:34:17] Hellscape.

[00:34:18] But they they Iran shot drones into Israel and America shot some of them down.

[00:34:28] And they were real mad about that.

[00:34:30] But I don't think that anything came of it because, of course, it didn't.

[00:34:34] Like what is Iran going to do to us?

[00:34:36] What the fuck?

[00:34:38] Yeah, classic stuff.

[00:34:40] So that one, I just say he's a bit of an asshole, but I really don't care.

[00:34:45] But since that one was so short, I want to I want another one.

[00:34:49] Oh my God.

[00:34:50] All right.

[00:34:51] Whatever.

[00:34:52] I mean, we got to fill the time.

[00:34:56] There you go.

[00:34:57] I got another zombie apocalypse one because I found these two together and I really like them.

[00:35:01] So it's like a yin yang thing or oh my fucking god.

[00:35:04] It's it's yin yang because that one was three sentences long and this one is a fucking short story.

[00:35:09] This is a.

[00:35:10] Don't worry.

[00:35:11] OK, I scrolled down and the first word I saw was transphobic.

[00:35:15] Oh, what?

[00:35:16] Yeah.

[00:35:17] About like in the middle of the first edit.

[00:35:20] OK, you're reading it.

[00:35:22] Let's go.

[00:35:23] You're the one that did this to us.

[00:35:25] In account three years ago, am I the only one to beans and gone to Ignacio beans?

[00:35:31] Am I the asshole from my zombie apocalypse plans?

[00:35:35] A couple of months ago, my cousin Jane invited me to spend the day watching foreign horror films with her and some friends.

[00:35:42] This was the first time I met her girlfriend, Edith.

[00:35:45] One of our we get it.

[00:35:47] You read your fucking obtuse female names.

[00:35:52] One of our movies was trained to boost on.

[00:35:55] OK, I don't know what that's pronounced.

[00:35:57] I don't know.

[00:35:58] But for a train to bussing, that's probably not it either.

[00:36:04] Afterwards, we talked about and what we do in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

[00:36:08] When asked about my plans would be I laughed and said I would give up realistically.

[00:36:13] I can handle the zombie apocalypse.

[00:36:15] I have too much anxiety and health issues to try based and.

[00:36:19] Roseville. Jane asked me what I would do with my cat.

[00:36:24] I said that he wouldn't be able to survive the zombie apocalypse at all, so I wouldn't do anything with him.

[00:36:31] You would just stay in my house after barricading ourselves in.

[00:36:34] You said, what if someone else could take better care of them?

[00:36:37] I said they couldn't.

[00:36:39] He'd be better just chilling with me and he'd slow them down anyways.

[00:36:43] Wait a minute.

[00:36:45] I just want to stop here and have a discussion already, but it doesn't keep going.

[00:36:49] Is this whole thing about the cat?

[00:36:51] It is about the cat.

[00:36:52] OK, well, fuck would the cat be better?

[00:36:59] My cat would not have a hope in a zombie apocalypse.

[00:37:06] Or any sort of apocalypse.

[00:37:08] OK, hold on.

[00:37:09] I get that this is the common use of apocalypse.

[00:37:12] But did you know that apocalypse doesn't actually mean like a cataclysmic event or like a terrible devastation?

[00:37:19] No, it's actually it actually means like a revelation from God.

[00:37:23] Is that like the layman's term?

[00:37:25] No, I think that's like the original use of the term.

[00:37:27] I mean, the layman's term is just like it's a really bad thing where everything's destroyed.

[00:37:31] Yeah, I think it was the.

[00:37:33] What's up?

[00:37:34] The complete destruction of the world as described in the biblical book of Revelation,

[00:37:38] number two, an event involving destruction or damage in some awesome or catastrophic scale.

[00:37:43] I'm not sure where rather than I might be mistaken.

[00:37:46] Well, it does talk about biblical right here.

[00:37:48] And I mean, this is the modern definition.

[00:37:51] So, I mean, I'm not Google and I literally just highlighted it and then Google searched from right click.

[00:37:57] Despite my poor English, I do actually really enjoy the language.

[00:38:01] All right, you do will break it down.

[00:38:03] What is a party?

[00:38:04] OK, a paw.

[00:38:05] I think that's a reference to like I think it's some connection like apathiosis, like in a row.

[00:38:11] Yeah, that's the transients to Godhead apotheosis apotheosis.

[00:38:17] The highest point in development of something.

[00:38:19] OK, we're cooking climate culmination or climax.

[00:38:22] That sounds about right.

[00:38:23] All right, keep going.

[00:38:25] What is a calypsoid?

[00:38:27] I assume that is like the I don't know, like because once again, this is getting too like,

[00:38:33] is this some kind of connection to eclipse?

[00:38:35] Like are they some kind of cross slanted links of like something being revealed or being hidden by another astral body?

[00:38:45] Like Eclipse?

[00:38:47] Yeah.

[00:38:48] Calypsoid is the name of the last decade in Greek mythology.

[00:38:53] Calypsoid is a nymph who detained Odysseus for seven.

[00:38:59] I don't know.

[00:39:00] This is dumb and lame.

[00:39:01] Dumb and lame.

[00:39:03] Yeah, you got most of it.

[00:39:04] That sounds about right.

[00:39:05] Where were we?

[00:39:06] Like what would even were we on?

[00:39:07] OK, apparently the Greek word apocalypse is a reference to the uncovering or revealing the revealing of the end of us, the end of revelations, I guess, which is why they call it revelations, which a revelation is a reveal.

[00:39:21] You know, anyways, enough English chat.

[00:39:26] My cat would not have a hope in any sort of apocalypse.

[00:39:30] He is for a lack of better term special needs.

[00:39:36] There's no better terms like, oh, no, that's a pretty good term.

[00:39:40] He only has half of his teeth, so he has to eat special food and he has separation anxiety to the point where if I'm in the bathroom and he isn't, he starts to have what is basically a panic attack.

[00:39:51] OK, so this sounds stupid, but my cat was like this.

[00:39:56] I started shitting and pissing with the door open in my family's house, so my aunt, my uncle, my mom, my my girlfriend, that's I'm walking around because my cat would freak out and start attacking everyone.

[00:40:08] If I if he couldn't get into the bathroom with me, I don't know why I ignored him actively.

[00:40:14] I didn't care about that cat.

[00:40:16] But your family would come and open the door just to let him into the bathroom.

[00:40:19] Yeah, well, they would be like, oh, stand up at the door.

[00:40:22] And I'd have to like get up and waddle across because I'm thinking.

[00:40:26] Open the door, let him in, close the door.

[00:40:30] I just assumed you left the door open at that point.

[00:40:33] Yeah, I just started leaving the door open and then because he would never bust the door open like a dog would, he would just slink in like a slinky, you know, like slings to.

[00:40:42] And I don't care if my mom sees me.

[00:40:44] I don't care.

[00:40:45] So whatever.

[00:40:46] All right, back to this.

[00:40:47] He has absolutely no reflexes and is horrible at chasing or catching things.

[00:40:52] These all count against his survival as a wildcat or natural ones.

[00:40:57] He's not good.

[00:40:58] He's got bad stats.

[00:40:59] I'd also like to have his company if I was logged inside my house forever.

[00:41:04] Oh, how sweet.

[00:41:05] I get well before you shoot yourself open a window.

[00:41:08] Give him the choice to leave.

[00:41:11] Give him a chance because he can just eat his dead body then or whatever.

[00:41:15] Oh, we'll get to the next.

[00:41:17] But you're going to you're going to rot though.

[00:41:19] Right.

[00:41:20] You're going to you can't eat your body forever unless you killed yourself in a really well-conditioned room.

[00:41:26] I was thinking like maybe like a get a vinegar bath going.

[00:41:29] So you're kind of pickled.

[00:41:30] Can cats eat vinegar?

[00:41:32] Well, they get sick if they eat a bunch of vinegar.

[00:41:34] I mean, everyone's going to get sick if you eat a bunch of vinegar.

[00:41:39] Vinegar is a scary word as you can clip that one out of context really easily.

[00:41:44] So the next day, my cousin texted me and said, Edith was upset.

[00:41:48] My plans read more as I don't care enough about my cat to try to her.

[00:41:56] And this is proof I wouldn't let other people more qualified than me give him a chance.

[00:42:01] I explained myself to my cousin and said, I was sorry for upsetting Edith, but the zombie apocalypse wasn't going to happen anyway.

[00:42:08] That was it.

[00:42:09] OK, wait, hold on.

[00:42:10] So just make a pact with your cousin who's so upset about this that if the zombie apocalypse happens, come rescue the cat.

[00:42:18] Leave a key under the doormat so they can get in.

[00:42:21] If they somehow can find their apartment in the middle of the apocalypse and get the cat.

[00:42:26] This goes on.

[00:42:27] We haven't even found out who's the asshole in this story or like who's being because I don't even care.

[00:42:32] I'm just so involved in the idea of the cat in the apocalypse now.

[00:42:37] This cat's journey.

[00:42:39] It's like a boy and his dog.

[00:42:40] And did you see that one?

[00:42:41] The cat's Odyssey.

[00:42:42] What a boy and a dog?

[00:42:44] No, is that the way that the animated like classic?

[00:42:47] The animated like claymation movie with like, no, no, it's like dog.

[00:42:51] I like nuclear apocalypse, Mad Max stuff going on.

[00:42:55] There's like classic basically vault dwellers going on a dude.

[00:43:00] It's taken down there and they're like, look, basically we need your semen, you know, or whatever.

[00:43:06] Nice.

[00:43:07] But he's like, I don't remember how it shook out.

[00:43:09] Basically, he's like, no, I'm going to hang out with my talking dog on the surface who was trained in the military.

[00:43:14] It's a good movie.

[00:43:15] Go watch it.

[00:43:16] Can you just do both at the same time?

[00:43:19] I don't know why you're with your dog.

[00:43:23] Separate them.

[00:43:25] You have some meat.

[00:43:26] OK, no, I can't watch that.

[00:43:28] I don't want to watch the dog is psychic, too.

[00:43:30] I forgot about that part.

[00:43:31] It's on the dog and talk.

[00:43:32] The dog is psychic.

[00:43:34] Wait, is it is it does it see the future?

[00:43:36] Is that out psychic or can it like read minds?

[00:43:39] I don't know all those things.

[00:43:41] That's telepathic, right?

[00:43:43] Yeah.

[00:43:44] OK, I guess it's not because that's what I guess.

[00:43:46] Well, see, that's the whole thing is that ever I got confused when I was talking about spy family where it was like on his telepathic.

[00:43:53] But bond is psychic bond.

[00:43:55] No bond is.

[00:43:57] A sight soothsayer.

[00:43:59] What the fuck is that word?

[00:44:00] You can see the foresight for a circle of four seers.

[00:44:04] I don't know.

[00:44:05] It doesn't matter to nuance with our language now.

[00:44:08] Anyway, it's something else I wanted to talk about.

[00:44:11] I don't remember anymore.

[00:44:13] OK, however, last week I had a Zoom call with family.

[00:44:17] Jane announced that her needs were engaged.

[00:44:20] Congratulations, which we were all very excited for near the end of the call.

[00:44:25] I picked up my cat so my mom could see her grandkitty.

[00:44:28] Edith asked if I could still take care of him since the apocalypse happened and I lost my job.

[00:44:34] I told her that I was making enough money on commissions to make sure he was healthy.

[00:44:38] She said something along the lines of good.

[00:44:40] I wouldn't want him hurt because his dad is too stubborn to help him out.

[00:44:43] I think she's referring to Kobe as the apocalypse happening three years ago.

[00:44:47] Maybe. Oh, yeah, that's right.

[00:44:50] This was a three year old thing.

[00:44:51] And this person's a male.

[00:44:53] This is the first confirmation of that.

[00:44:54] OK, as of this morning, I learned that Edith doesn't want me at her wedding.

[00:45:00] She is convinced that I wouldn't get my cat a better life if I was unable to help him.

[00:45:06] It has apparently been telling her friends and family about it,

[00:45:08] and they agree that she is a right for not wanting to be around me since I don't want the best for my cat.

[00:45:14] She's acting like I'm actively abusing him.

[00:45:16] At first, I was annoyed about all this and felt like she is really reading into things.

[00:45:21] But if she's this upset, I'm really starting to think that I am in the wrong for my plans.

[00:45:26] And it was just an offhand comment.

[00:45:28] And I can't change anything about it now.

[00:45:30] But am I the asshole?

[00:45:31] And then shared a picture for the cat.

[00:45:34] Where's the picture for the cat?

[00:45:36] Right where it says cat tax.

[00:45:37] Find it.

[00:45:38] No, it's in the thing.

[00:45:40] Do I need to link it?

[00:45:41] Oh, it's a fucking link.

[00:45:43] It's not blue or anything.

[00:45:46] This was a thing we were talking about.

[00:45:48] Like we didn't know if we could put pictures and shit in the thing.

[00:45:51] So this is the first time there's ever been a picture link.

[00:45:53] Oh, true.

[00:45:55] Unless we just never fucking noticed.

[00:45:57] This is a cat indeed.

[00:45:59] It is a cat.

[00:46:00] All right.

[00:46:01] So discussion time.

[00:46:04] Is this guy an asshole for his plan?

[00:46:06] I don't.

[00:46:07] I don't.

[00:46:08] An asshole banning him from the wedding.

[00:46:10] I she's that is so bizarre.

[00:46:12] OK, first of all, what the fuck is going on?

[00:46:15] Bizarre. Are we talking about the host or Edith?

[00:46:18] Either the R.O.P.

[00:46:20] O.P. Yeah.

[00:46:21] OK. Yeah.

[00:46:22] Original poster of the Edith's unhinged.

[00:46:24] What the that is a that is a mental patient all over a cat.

[00:46:30] There's no way that this is the reason.

[00:46:33] There's no I refuse to believe it that this is the possible.

[00:46:37] This is it's unfathomable, so I won't even entertain it.

[00:46:40] What I do want to entertain.

[00:46:42] Is the cat in the apocalypse thing?

[00:46:44] Do you want to talk about the edits because God damn I want to talk about this cat.

[00:46:47] OK, the edits we can go right into them.

[00:46:50] All right. First edit because there's multiple.

[00:46:52] Wow, there's so much words.

[00:46:54] Wow, this got a lot more attention than I thought.

[00:46:57] Thank you all for your comments.

[00:46:58] Sadly, no, this is not fake, though I really wish it was.

[00:47:01] This was reposted on Twitter and apparently Edith and Jane ended up being sent to by an unrelated party.

[00:47:07] We thought the whole situation was stupid.

[00:47:09] Oh my God.

[00:47:10] Wait, they are these are real names.

[00:47:13] Is that how they got out of names?

[00:47:15] Yep. Why are they in quotations?

[00:47:17] I don't know.

[00:47:18] Well, these might not be real names, but the real people got outed.

[00:47:22] That's so insane.

[00:47:24] Like how would that even happen?

[00:47:26] How is that humanly possible?

[00:47:28] Apparently Edith in her big mouth is just walking around telling everyone about this cat.

[00:47:33] You're right.

[00:47:34] Like, I guess it's such a bizarre fucking situation that if you saw this in the fucking wild, then I don't know, man.

[00:47:42] All right. But it goes on.

[00:47:44] I'm not sure what the fallout of that will be.

[00:47:47] Wait, no, this is zombies, not new nukes.

[00:47:49] But we talked about that last.

[00:47:52] Is anything worth updating?

[00:47:53] I'll do so.

[00:47:54] Our Thanksgiving Zoom call will be very fun, I'm sure.

[00:47:58] I didn't include it in those.

[00:48:00] Never mind.

[00:48:01] Have you seen fall?

[00:48:02] I'm going to forget this like the third time.

[00:48:04] Have you seen it?

[00:48:05] No.

[00:48:06] JP tried to talk to me about it, too.

[00:48:07] And I'm like, I don't know.

[00:48:09] I'm still heard from Halo, but I'm still going to watch.

[00:48:11] I heard I've been hearing that this is really good.

[00:48:14] And by some people, like some people do.

[00:48:17] So like.

[00:48:18] The Last of Us is a really good adaptation of a game to a TV show.

[00:48:24] People are saying that it's up there with that.

[00:48:26] Now, most people are saying Last of Us is better, but there are people saying that the fallout show topped it.

[00:48:31] And so I'm like.

[00:48:33] I mean, I might watch.

[00:48:34] I've seen some clips.

[00:48:35] There's one clip going out of context.

[00:48:37] Hold on. Let me go fucking find the clip.

[00:48:39] There's one clip going out of context.

[00:48:41] While I'm looking for it, you could finish the thing.

[00:48:43] But I got one and you read the cut.

[00:48:45] When you get the context around it, it's like, OK, whatever.

[00:48:47] Like I like everything.

[00:48:48] I don't know why I explained it like that.

[00:48:49] Read the thing.

[00:48:50] OK, I didn't include it in the post.

[00:48:52] I didn't find it pertinent.

[00:48:53] But friends have since mentioned me that Edith may be making excuses to cut me out if she's transphobic.

[00:48:59] I'm a trans man who just.

[00:49:01] Just before our movie night.

[00:49:05] This adds a real wrench.

[00:49:07] Those who don't believe the story is real because you don't think LGBT people can be conservative.

[00:49:13] I really wish to live in your world.

[00:49:16] Wait, OK.

[00:49:17] No, she's saying like, hey, if she's gay, then she's not going to hate trans people.

[00:49:23] You don't have to be conservative to hate trans people.

[00:49:27] That's what anyone can hate them, right?

[00:49:29] That's what a that's what a fucking what is it?

[00:49:32] A turf is a trans exclusionary radical feminist.

[00:49:36] They are usually liberal, but they don't like trans people because they feel like trans people encourage on the street.

[00:49:41] Trans people because they feel like trans people encourage on the on lesbian affairs, right?

[00:49:45] Not lesbian female affairs.

[00:49:48] Wait, wait, hold on.

[00:49:50] Yeah, we don't have to be lesbian to be a turf.

[00:49:52] Now I'm getting confused.

[00:49:53] I'm getting everything ripped up.

[00:49:54] Everything's confusing.

[00:49:55] It's all it's all it's all it's all compartmentalized in a part of my brain that I try not to act actively look into.

[00:50:04] What is happening?

[00:50:06] I don't want to talk about it.

[00:50:08] Regardless, I will not be going to the wedding.

[00:50:11] People suggest spending the day pampering my boy, which will be exactly what I will do.

[00:50:16] Smiley face emoji.

[00:50:17] The good news is that now my cat has an army of people who decide to protect him during the apocalypse.

[00:50:23] So he will be all right.

[00:50:24] Thank you all.

[00:50:25] Hell yeah.

[00:50:26] If they person said they get commissions for stuff, I assume they draw or whatever.

[00:50:29] This person should have drawn the cat being protected by like people like a bunch of people from Twitter.

[00:50:35] Final for those asking, Edith is from a farming family.

[00:50:39] So her zombie plans were to go to her family farm and live off the land before restarting society.

[00:50:45] I can't even keep my cactus alive, so I have no hope.

[00:50:48] You just go there.

[00:50:49] Go with them.

[00:50:50] Be a liability to them.

[00:50:51] The cat can be a liability on the farm with them with you, just like the kid on the tractor in the Walking Dead game.

[00:50:57] The first one I was thinking about the walking dead as well.

[00:51:00] It's so funny because it's like, oh, for edit to you, like this is her zombie apocalypse plan for people.

[00:51:05] Like, you know, just as much.

[00:51:08] It's not that way.

[00:51:09] That's a good idea.

[00:51:10] You shouldn't be in the cities.

[00:51:12] There's nothing for you here.

[00:51:14] I'm in like San Antonio.

[00:51:15] I got no hope of making out of the city.

[00:51:18] Me either.

[00:51:19] I'm like in the middle of Oklahoma City.

[00:51:20] I'm fucked.

[00:51:21] Like I won't be able to get out.

[00:51:22] I have to run on foot and I can only run for like a third of a block for becoming winded.

[00:51:27] What's the mail?

[00:51:28] I'm a mailman.

[00:51:29] I walk every day of us show.

[00:51:31] No, well, that was like the big issue with the beginning or whatever.

[00:51:35] Is that like they just couldn't get out of the city was like the issue.

[00:51:39] Yeah.

[00:51:40] That's that's Resident Evil as well.

[00:51:43] The first level and two, I guess.

[00:51:46] And three.

[00:51:47] All right.

[00:51:48] That's just a recurring zombie problem then is that you just can't leave.

[00:51:50] Yeah.

[00:51:51] Quarantine.

[00:51:52] They fucking quarantine the shit out of everything.

[00:51:54] Just like whenever Japan put the bubonic plague into China during World War Two.

[00:51:58] So then they had to quarantine the yeah.

[00:52:01] Anyway, they had to quarantine the cities, which is real sad.

[00:52:05] I don't know why.

[00:52:06] I know I've been listening to a lot.

[00:52:08] Whatever.

[00:52:09] Let's fucking this person's not an asshole.

[00:52:11] Yeah.

[00:52:12] The cat owner, not an asshole.

[00:52:13] Edith seems to be an asshole, but mostly just seems to be like an annoying person to interact with.

[00:52:19] So more than I guess.

[00:52:22] Really fucking annoying.

[00:52:25] All right.

[00:52:26] Now, would you like to pick your asshole now that I've commandeered two of them?

[00:52:29] Uh, where do you want to let it go?

[00:52:31] Because the cat.

[00:52:32] I never get there.

[00:52:33] What is what does the cat.

[00:52:35] What was that?

[00:52:36] Did we ever talk about the cat just wanted to talk about the cat the whole time.

[00:52:39] Like, yeah, it was like, is the cat owner an asshole?

[00:52:42] Is Esther.

[00:52:44] I'm just saying you wouldn't be so much of an asshole if whenever you killed yourself, you just opened a window.

[00:52:49] That way, the cat could eat you and your body rotted.

[00:52:51] It could get out and try and spend for itself, even though apparently it's a fucking moron.

[00:52:57] Yeah.

[00:52:59] But I'm just saying that cats are cats can fucking fend for themselves out there, but mostly nothing's going to fucking survive like fucking apocalypse.

[00:53:11] I feel like cats are going to do pretty much the best.

[00:53:16] We talk about like an urban environment like what predators are going to be like the apex predators.

[00:53:21] Like we're going to have a little with it.

[00:53:23] I got this.

[00:53:24] If cats would do the best, where are the cats in fallout?

[00:53:28] There are irradiated dogs.

[00:53:30] Yeah, there's lots of dogs.

[00:53:32] OK, but I think the dogs, a lot of a reference to they were they were owned by like the Chinese government or some of the Chinese army that invaded or something like that.

[00:53:42] Right.

[00:53:43] So I don't think those dogs are dogs that stayed topside.

[00:53:47] And this is zombies we're talking about, not in most times.

[00:53:50] Omniscient go after animals.

[00:53:52] Just look at the last of us in the drafts.

[00:53:55] Oh yeah.

[00:53:56] And this is that's true in the rocking dead game to where there's a dog in the last season who does not die.

[00:54:04] So you guys can play the game knowing it also seems to be true in the quarry as well.

[00:54:10] We talk about things getting affected without spoilers, I guess.

[00:54:15] Maybe I don't know what you're referring to.

[00:54:17] Maybe I might not know what you're referring to.

[00:54:19] All right.

[00:54:20] Let's get an asshole or you want to move on to the meat.

[00:54:23] Let me see here.

[00:54:27] Have we done this one already?

[00:54:29] I bet we have.

[00:54:30] All right.

[00:54:31] So this is probably throw away because oh, we did the inverse of this one is I remember something similar to this.

[00:54:37] All right.

[00:54:38] So it says, am I the asshole for getting mad at my girlfriend for playing as a male character in Skyrim?

[00:54:43] The user being why a male who is suspended?

[00:54:47] Oh, so yeah, I wonder why.

[00:54:52] But this I assume it's a burner account because why a male?

[00:54:56] But maybe they went fucking hard in the paint in the abortion subreddit and then got themselves kicked out.

[00:55:02] So this one says, so a couple of days back, let's make it big for me so I can read because I'm stupid.

[00:55:07] A couple of days back, my girlfriend installed Skyrim with some graphical enhancing mods, which is great.

[00:55:12] I decided not to bother her and left her alone.

[00:55:15] She hasn't been leaving her room often since then.

[00:55:19] So I worried and decided to barge in show a whole lot of trust in your partner.

[00:55:25] She showed me her progress.

[00:55:27] She's about level 45.

[00:55:30] That's so far.

[00:55:32] She hasn't left in weeks and plays a two handed brute.

[00:55:36] Problem is she's playing as a male character and he looked like the direct opposite of me as well.

[00:55:42] Bearded, bald, strong, muscular and looked a bit like Kratos.

[00:55:47] God, what's the opposite of that?

[00:55:49] This guy is clean, full head of hair, not strong or.

[00:55:54] That's the opposite.

[00:55:57] He's a twink.

[00:55:59] So he says, I want to read it in a whiny.

[00:56:02] I asked her why and she said she's role playing.

[00:56:06] I didn't think she was creating a character that matched her image of a perfect man.

[00:56:11] And I looked nothing like that.

[00:56:13] So a bit annoyed, she continued to show me her house in the dwarven city.

[00:56:17] I forget the name of Markov and she and she married you so sold the.

[00:56:23] She sold the or whatever from the market.

[00:56:27] I was shocked by this because she creates a male character and she herself is a girl and marries a girl spelled wrong when she claims she is straight.

[00:56:37] So things to start to get fishy.

[00:56:39] And I confront her about my suspicions.

[00:56:42] She laughed and told me I'm being silly and that she's just role playing and asked me if it's the same as playing as a woman.

[00:56:51] A woman.

[00:56:53] Well, they aren't the same thing.

[00:56:57] It's perfectly normal for men to create women in video games because it's just how they see the perfect girl and no way in hell do they marry male characters.

[00:57:07] Apparently, the perfect girl is a lesbian.

[00:57:10] Apparently for her, it was it was and she got mad at and she got mad causing an argument between both of us.

[00:57:19] I don't think she caused this argument.

[00:57:22] Yeah, I stormed out of her room and she probably continued to play.

[00:57:27] I feel I may have overreacted a bit, but it seems to me she's questioning her sexuality and logically it doesn't make sense for a girl to play as a male character.

[00:57:38] Not to forget, even if she's role playing the character looks no we're were looks no were near like me.

[00:57:47] So I know her type now dot dot.

[00:57:50] Okay, we're supposed to be unbiased.

[00:57:53] So edit it seems like there's a lot of comments saying this is a troll post, which obviously isn't be warned before judging me based on false.

[00:58:01] I was just warned.

[00:58:04] What's the warning for?

[00:58:06] What's the thread?

[00:58:07] What happens if we don't listen?

[00:58:08] He was warning.

[00:58:09] I don't know what happened exactly right.

[00:58:13] Edit another one.

[00:58:15] I'm seriously questioning the validation of this subreddit.

[00:58:19] One person calls me an asshole for being a troll, which I am not.

[00:58:23] And now the entire response is filled with people hopping into this hate trend.

[00:58:28] I'm yet to find a true genuine comment.

[00:58:32] I'm yet to do you think this is fake?

[00:58:37] A little bit still after all that stuff.

[00:58:41] Even after his warning, you think this could be fake?

[00:58:44] The warning nothing happened.

[00:58:45] So the warning was a was a bullshit warning.

[00:58:49] Well, he got a lot.

[00:58:51] Maybe he got suspended because some someone learned what the warning was and they had to stop him before he got too strong.

[00:58:59] Got too powerful.

[00:59:00] There are some weird things in this for one.

[00:59:02] The girlfriend has her own room, I guess.

[00:59:04] And he's not there very often.

[00:59:07] Is that true?

[00:59:08] I don't remember.

[00:59:09] I was playing a character, so I wasn't really reading what the fuck he's referring to her room and then he and she not leaving it a lot.

[00:59:16] Meaning he's not in there a lot, I guess.

[00:59:18] So enough that he had to barge in.

[00:59:20] You can just walk in.

[00:59:23] Yeah, I don't know.

[00:59:24] That's kind of weird, isn't it?

[00:59:25] That's really weird.

[00:59:27] All right.

[00:59:28] So we did have a previous comment with it with a gay couple, two guys where one kept playing games with very sexified women in it and his boyfriend to call him straight.

[00:59:42] Yeah, that's exactly.

[00:59:43] Yeah, that was it.

[00:59:45] And this guy, he's making an assumption or suspicion, but I can't tell what his exact suspicion is.

[00:59:52] Like, what is he trying to say here?

[00:59:54] Is there to say that she's attracted to a different kind of man or that she wants to be a man married to a woman?

[01:00:01] I think she wants to be the woman that she's marrying with her Kratos big muscular bald bearded man.

[01:00:11] She wants to marry nasty Nate.

[01:00:14] Yeah.

[01:00:15] All right.

[01:00:16] So is the girlfriend an asshole for role playing this?

[01:00:18] No, this is fucking dumb.

[01:00:20] It's one of the dumbest things I've read in a while.

[01:00:23] It's incredible.

[01:00:24] Actually, I love it because he's like, oh, he's like she wants to make she obviously he's questioning her sexuality because she made she made her character marry a woman and he's like the perf.

[01:00:37] I'm the man.

[01:00:38] It's OK to make the perfect woman.

[01:00:40] But the but you would never marry a man as the perfect woman.

[01:00:45] That's gay.

[01:00:46] So you got to marry a woman.

[01:00:48] The perfect woman marries women, which is some weird.

[01:00:52] Some weird logic.

[01:00:53] Yeah, it's circular.

[01:00:55] It's a little circular.

[01:00:56] I have not 100 percent, but I actually I would say I can name which game was, but I think I've married men in games before.

[01:01:04] Yeah, I mean, probably.

[01:01:05] I definitely like so when I talk about Dragon Age origins quite a bit, my cannon my in my head, the cannon run is female Grey Warden falling in love with Alistair and then taking Alistair into the final battle.

[01:01:20] So if you know what that means, you know how that turns out.

[01:01:23] So I feel like that's the cannon ending in my head because that's like the most emotionally resonant and it wasn't my first play through.

[01:01:30] That was like my fucking sixth playthrough.

[01:01:32] So I so it's not even like the bias of the first time playing through like my Walking Dead playthrough when I played through that.

[01:01:39] I just did the same thing as every time I played it again.

[01:01:42] I just realized the same drama.

[01:01:44] Yeah, but it's totally fine.

[01:01:47] I don't know.

[01:01:49] Yeah, some people just are completely incapable of fucking dealing in the abstract in any meaningful way or like separating fiction from reality.

[01:01:59] Is it raining?

[01:02:00] My windows are open.

[01:02:01] Oh yeah, I think there was a thunderstorm for a minute.

[01:02:03] All right.

[01:02:06] Yeah, we're here to say in gaming together.

[01:02:08] We're accepting of all the letters and that's pretty much it.

[01:02:15] This guy seems to be it.

[01:02:17] Well, I assume his back room is flooded or something at this point.

[01:02:25] You're in a lot of splishing and splashing slosh.

[01:02:27] He's got some buckets.

[01:02:29] He's bailing out his house now.

[01:02:32] All right, dude.

[01:02:33] Speaking of gay people.

[01:02:35] Okay, good start.

[01:02:37] All right.

[01:02:38] He's got a shirt.

[01:02:39] Okay.

[01:02:40] So I wore this fucking shirt.

[01:02:42] This is this sounds like a fake reddit post, but this is completely real.

[01:02:45] Okay, so there's this guy I watch on the Internet Internet comment etiquette.

[01:02:50] That's his YouTube channel.

[01:02:51] You mentioned him before.

[01:02:52] He's got merch.

[01:02:53] This is his gay frogs merch.

[01:02:55] Right?

[01:02:56] There's a bunch of frogs stacked on top of one another.

[01:02:58] Yeah, like a Jenga tower and they're all rainbow colored.

[01:03:01] Okay, so I wore this to work on Saturday or Friday, something like that.

[01:03:07] I wear so much.

[01:03:08] I wear all kinds of crazy fucking clothes to work.

[01:03:11] I wear it like fucking dying fetus t-shirt, like all kinds of crazy shit and like dead people, all kinds of stuff.

[01:03:18] Well, I wear this gay frog shirt because it's obviously what it is.

[01:03:23] And immediately my fucking manager stops me and he's just like, what's on that shirt?

[01:03:28] I live in the like, you know, the South.

[01:03:30] He's like a Bible thumping Christian.

[01:03:31] I'm like, oh, some frogs.

[01:03:35] So, yeah, I'm like, it's frogs.

[01:03:37] I'm like, I don't know. It's like rainbow and frogs.

[01:03:39] And he's just like, oh, yeah.

[01:03:41] What does it mean?

[01:03:42] And I go, I don't know.

[01:03:44] I just thought it was cute.

[01:03:45] Like, those are the words that just fucking floated out of my mouth.

[01:03:49] That's so smooth.

[01:03:51] All right. And so he's just like, oh, okay.

[01:03:54] And then I walk away.

[01:03:55] Right.

[01:03:56] And then a little bit later, he's like talking to someone in a case in your mind.

[01:03:59] And he's just like, hey, he's like, hey, come here, Austin.

[01:04:02] Come here. Let me see your shirt.

[01:04:05] And apparently so he's like, you he's talking to this old lady and this old dude.

[01:04:10] And they were like, whoa.

[01:04:11] And I'm just like, what?

[01:04:14] What? Gay frog shirt.

[01:04:16] Now, for people who don't know, this shirt is a reference to Alex Jones.

[01:04:20] This is making fun of Alex Jones, his big rant on turning the frogs gay and stuff.

[01:04:24] The Internet Internet comment etiquette guy made a meme out of it.

[01:04:27] And now it's a funny joke.

[01:04:28] And so now he's got a gay frog shirt and I bought it.

[01:04:31] So he he's like, look, he's like, what do you think those those frogs mean?

[01:04:36] And I like the rainbow frogs.

[01:04:38] And I was just like, I don't know, because I can't tell them.

[01:04:41] I cannot tell them.

[01:04:43] I can't tell them it's about Alex Jones.

[01:04:44] I can't do that.

[01:04:45] I have my job.

[01:04:46] And so I can't open that can of worms and let people know that I know what Alex Jones is because I don't want to.

[01:04:51] I don't want people that are aware of that to be magnetized to me now.

[01:04:55] So I'm like, I don't like I don't know.

[01:04:57] I just thought it looked cool.

[01:04:58] And so he's like, you know what frogs mean, right?

[01:05:02] The French.

[01:05:03] Do you know what frogs mean?

[01:05:05] Because all three of these people know not the French.

[01:05:08] They said that frogs fuck a lot and they're obviously gay frogs.

[01:05:13] So you like to fuck a lot of guys.

[01:05:17] That's what that shirt is telling everyone.

[01:05:19] You're advertising that you like to fuck.

[01:05:21] I'm like, what do you think that people just wear?

[01:05:23] This is the same fucking shit.

[01:05:25] It's like if you wear your earring on the left ear, that means you're trying to signal the other people like fucking dog whistle the people that you want to do blow jobs in the bathroom or something.

[01:05:33] I don't fucking know.

[01:05:34] Have you heard about this fucking shit?

[01:05:36] No.

[01:05:37] It's like if you have a pineapple, that means if you wear a pineapple, it means you want people to fuck your wife or something.

[01:05:42] I don't fucking know, dude.

[01:05:43] It's like there's so much shit like that.

[01:05:45] So they're trying to convince me about that.

[01:05:47] And there is this guy who I might think, I think, I don't know.

[01:05:50] He's like he I don't I kind of like him, but he goes wild.

[01:05:54] He like starts ranting.

[01:05:55] He's just like me.

[01:05:56] All right.

[01:05:57] He's just like me.

[01:05:58] So you have all of them at all costs?

[01:05:59] Yeah.

[01:06:00] So we can't like it'll be like a black hole like both of us get into each other's orbit.

[01:06:04] We can't fucking do it.

[01:06:05] So he's over there talking.

[01:06:08] He's kind of joking around about it and everything.

[01:06:10] It's like, OK, yeah, whatever.

[01:06:11] And so I go and I at the end of the time, I'm about to go out on my route.

[01:06:15] He comes out like he's driving his truck past, like he's leaving and I'm still loading my truck up.

[01:06:20] And he stops and he's like, hey, just so you know, I'm down with the colors.

[01:06:27] And I'm like, what?

[01:06:28] He's just like, I'm down with the colors, so you don't have to worry about anything like that about me.

[01:06:33] And I was just like, oh, all right, man.

[01:06:37] And then he's just like, yeah, I'm bisexual.

[01:06:39] And I'm like, OK, brother, like, that's really cool.

[01:06:43] And then he drives off and I'm just like, what the fuck is happening today?

[01:06:48] God, I swear to God that happened, dude.

[01:06:52] That's classic, classic boomer move, dude.

[01:06:57] That's what I like.

[01:06:59] Well, OK, here's what you needed to go back.

[01:07:01] So your manager, like, does he have any kind of affectations that he wears or something like that?

[01:07:05] Maybe like a pirate bandana or something?

[01:07:08] He dresses like he's going to church every day.

[01:07:11] He dresses like he's going straight to church.

[01:07:13] I'd be like, oh, yellow stripes on a polo.

[01:07:16] Like, you know, that means.

[01:07:19] That means you're looking shot fired back at him.

[01:07:21] Yeah, like you trying to hook up right now or something?

[01:07:25] I can't believe you wore that here.

[01:07:27] Bring it over and be like, hey, Terry, look what he's wearing.

[01:07:30] He's like yellow stripes. Oh, man.

[01:07:33] This is like an always sunny episode because it's like I can't tell them that it's about Alex Jones

[01:07:38] because if they don't know Alex Jones is that I got to I'm not explaining them what that means.

[01:07:43] Oh, God, dude.

[01:07:45] Which the frogs wasn't even really referencing the frogs were gay.

[01:07:48] I thought it was just about the frogs being switched by the temperatures like they're they can change their what?

[01:07:53] It's genetic expressions or something like that.

[01:07:56] Was he really trying to say?

[01:07:58] No, there's a rant where he's like, the dog is a dog.

[01:08:01] He says that verbatim.

[01:08:05] I feel like he gets he's got to know that like that was just the buzzwords for it.

[01:08:09] It's like the frogs aren't actually gay.

[01:08:11] They're they're fucking biological creatures trying to procreate.

[01:08:15] He's so fucking funny, dude.

[01:08:17] He is so funny. Have you seen the fucking video where?

[01:08:20] Oh, my God. Have you seen the video where somebody modded Doom Eternal to have like his voice screaming the whole time?

[01:08:26] You're funny.

[01:08:28] No, it's not.

[01:08:31] Finally something I know for sure I'm going to be able to find.

[01:08:34] The YouTube video is talking about earlier when we were talking about stupid plastic ducks falling out of the sky every three minutes.

[01:08:39] There's like the spruing sound effect, but it's in a three hour long video and it's like three hours of silence.

[01:08:45] But randomly there's a boring sound.

[01:08:48] Randomly a tether ball gets hit.

[01:08:50] There's something fucking stupid.

[01:08:52] Yeah, those are great.

[01:08:53] He's got to put those on and then forget about him.

[01:08:56] And then something happens.

[01:08:58] What's that?

[01:09:01] Oh, fuck.

[01:09:02] All right. This.

[01:09:04] Nave sent me a link.

[01:09:05] I don't know.

[01:09:06] I don't think this is it, but this is essentially what it's serious violence and misinformation ahead.

[01:09:13] What do I do?

[01:09:15] Destroy the child.

[01:09:18] Corrupt them all.

[01:09:20] This is their plan, people.

[01:09:21] These are demons.

[01:09:24] It's basically an intergalactic invasion into this space through people.

[01:09:28] I'm telling you, it's what all the ancients said.

[01:09:30] It's what they warned of.

[01:09:31] It's what we're dealing with.

[01:09:32] They're demons.

[01:09:33] They're frickin interdimensional invaders.

[01:09:35] OK, I'll just say it.

[01:09:36] Make fun of me all you want on CNN or wherever.

[01:09:39] But everyone already innately knows this.

[01:09:41] These people are not frickin humans.

[01:09:43] OK, Hillary Clinton is a goddamn demon.

[01:09:51] Oh, here's one.

[01:09:52] That's so good.

[01:09:54] It's so fucking stupid.

[01:09:56] You'll never, never defeat the human spirit.

[01:10:00] You'll never defeat God.

[01:10:02] You'll never win.

[01:10:04] Such a great voice actor.

[01:10:06] He's right.

[01:10:14] I don't even know if I'm going to put that in the episode because it's just you

[01:10:18] got to watch it.

[01:10:19] You're going to have to watch it.

[01:10:21] I don't even know if I'm going to put that in the episode because it's just you got

[01:10:25] to watch it like it's if I put it in the episode, it is just Alex Jones.

[01:10:29] There's no context.

[01:10:31] No, the first one's better.

[01:10:33] The first one you like is it goes into the music.

[01:10:35] He's like, it's her and the frogs gay.

[01:10:40] Oh, that's so good.

[01:10:42] Well, there's a sound that's my ringtone.

[01:10:45] Just going off on the fly.

[01:10:51] What the fuck are we talking about?

[01:10:53] Oh, yeah, it was an asshole.

[01:10:57] Yeah, that asshole for calling his girlfriend gay or not gay.

[01:11:05] How did we get the Alex Jones fucking?

[01:11:08] How did that happen?

[01:11:10] Because I said that we don't hate gay people and you're like, don't worry, they don't hate gay people in my job either.

[01:11:18] Yeah, in fact, they're down with the colors, which is not a great way to say it.

[01:11:23] Well, that's the thing.

[01:11:25] I've got to lean into it because now they can't fire me because I'm like a diversity tick for them.

[01:11:30] You know what I mean?

[01:11:32] Yeah, I have a shirt of my job.

[01:11:36] In shirt.

[01:11:37] I mean, this person is an asshole, right?

[01:11:40] Or is he an asshole?

[01:11:41] I assume this is real.

[01:11:42] He's an asshole.

[01:11:43] I don't know.

[01:11:44] I don't want to talk about it.

[01:11:45] There's a lot of things going on in the bottom.

[01:11:48] This person is like grow up before she dumps you hypocritical, controlling, homophobic ass.

[01:11:52] And this person says homophobic.

[01:11:53] I'm not homophobic in the slightest.

[01:11:56] OK, it seems like me.

[01:11:58] So OK, on Facebook there was a meme, not a meme.

[01:12:01] It's in the AI group.

[01:12:02] And someone made an AI of a guy crawling in the desert and there's a sign point to the left, a sign point to the right.

[01:12:07] And it says one mile to the left water and then one mile to the right or one kilometer to the right water.

[01:12:13] And he's crawling to the left to the mile.

[01:12:15] Yeah, right.

[01:12:16] And it's like, OK, stupid American.

[01:12:18] But I typed I made a comment that said, why would someone want to crawl 1000 meters or 1000 1000 miles?

[01:12:26] I fucked up my own joke.

[01:12:27] Really?

[01:12:28] No, no.

[01:12:30] They said what?

[01:12:32] Why would somebody want to crawl 1000 miles?

[01:12:36] And obviously being sarcastic because I know what a kilometer is.

[01:12:39] But people were like asking if I know either it's a kilometer in them.

[01:12:45] It's like kilometer.

[01:12:46] I'm like I'm like, I'm pretty sure I would have heard of that by now.

[01:12:50] I'm 30 years old.

[01:12:51] I'm pretty sure.

[01:12:52] Or like someone would be like they'd be like a meter, a kilometer is like this much of a mile.

[01:12:57] I'm like, I'm pretty sure you just made that up.

[01:12:59] Just like fucking just being really stupid.

[01:13:01] So maybe this person's doing that.

[01:13:03] Could be.

[01:13:04] All right.

[01:13:05] You got any more for this guy?

[01:13:06] What?

[01:13:07] No.

[01:13:08] All right.

[01:13:09] Let's take a quick break and then we can hit the meat.

[01:13:11] Music.

[01:13:27] So, Naive, I went to buy it turns out I'm a dumb boomer as well.

[01:13:36] So I went to buy the battle pass for my daughter.

[01:13:41] And can you imagine how I fucked this up for four night?

[01:13:44] Yeah, a million different ways.

[01:13:46] There's three different ways you could buy it.

[01:13:49] And then like they all do different things.

[01:13:52] So core of the avatar is out as like the battle pass or whatever the crossover slip not ended.

[01:13:57] So now it's like, you know, now the other one, the vendors are not the vendors from you trauma.

[01:14:05] They're vendors.

[01:14:07] Shut up, baby.

[01:14:08] I know that guy.

[01:14:09] Yeah.

[01:14:10] I'm blackjack or whatever.

[01:14:11] Yeah.

[01:14:12] But yeah, so I'm like, oh, yeah, we love Cora.

[01:14:15] I'll get you this battle pass.

[01:14:17] And then I go and I try to buy it.

[01:14:19] Well, you know, you can't just put your credit card on your kid's account because then they're going to be like spending $500 on Roblox cosmetics or something like it.

[01:14:28] So I'm not doing that because I remember when I was a kid and I did that not Roblox.

[01:14:34] It was specifically like on RuneScape.

[01:14:37] I bought a whole bunch of fucking gold and dragon armor from people.

[01:14:41] I think I bought Fancy Star online like membership for like a year or something like that.

[01:14:48] I was supposed to just buy like a month.

[01:14:50] So what it was, it was my uncle's account.

[01:14:53] It was my uncle's card.

[01:14:55] And then my cousin, I would go to my cousin's house.

[01:14:57] And you remember Chance to go over there and I'd play guitar hero and fucking RuneScape.

[01:15:01] So we shared the account.

[01:15:03] So we just both played RuneScape on one account.

[01:15:05] And so we would just like fucking start buying shit with his card because we had the information.

[01:15:10] And my uncle apparently just freaked out one day.

[01:15:14] I wasn't there for it.

[01:15:15] Thank God.

[01:15:16] He freaked out one day and he got our RuneScape account banned.

[01:15:19] What a Chad.

[01:15:20] I don't remember how.

[01:15:22] So no, I do think I know how because I'm pretty sure because we were paying for membership through his card as well.

[01:15:27] So he like bounced the account like he bounced it like declined it or whatever.

[01:15:31] Get a refund and that banned our account because it was like, oh, this is a stolen card or something.

[01:15:36] I don't know.

[01:15:37] Yeah.

[01:15:38] They probably just reported it stolen on that point.

[01:15:40] It was fraudulent charge.

[01:15:41] And yeah, fraudulent charge or something.

[01:15:43] And then they were like, we're not dealing with this.

[01:15:45] They're just paying this account pretty much.

[01:15:46] Dude, it sucked.

[01:15:47] We had like fucking seven different like level 99.

[01:15:49] We had like 99 wood cutting, 99 Rune, 99 crafting.

[01:15:54] Holy fuck.

[01:15:55] We were working on athletics.

[01:15:59] Fucking brutal.

[01:16:01] They were doing those obstacle courses.

[01:16:03] But for this battle pass, I know that, you know, Fortnite, it's made by Epic, right?

[01:16:09] Yes.

[01:16:10] Rune by Epic.

[01:16:11] Yeah.

[01:16:12] And so I was like, great.

[01:16:13] You know, I'll go on and I'll just buy it on the computer or whatever and apply to your account.

[01:16:17] So I log into our Epic account.

[01:16:19] I go in, I'm like, oh, there's not a way to add payment information, but you can add money to your Epic wallet.

[01:16:25] And I'm like, great.

[01:16:26] So I had money to the Epic wallet and then I go to buy it.

[01:16:30] But I can't find a way to actually buy the battle pass.

[01:16:33] Instead, it just wants me to like install the game and stuff like that.

[01:16:37] No, I don't want to install the game.

[01:16:39] Well, it turns out micro transactions do not carry over between PC, Xbox and PlayStation and stuff like that.

[01:16:45] You have to specifically buy the battle pass on the console that you are trying to use it on.

[01:16:52] Wait, the battle passes don't carry over?

[01:16:54] Yeah.

[01:16:55] Huh.

[01:16:56] That's super fucking weird.

[01:16:57] Well, I mean, I can understand why, but I mean, it's still Xbox wants their cut.

[01:17:02] Yeah.

[01:17:03] Yeah. So instead I like, you know, again, I was already at it.

[01:17:05] So now I'm like, OK, so she has $20 chilling in her Epic account now that she cannot spend on console games.

[01:17:12] So I ended up just buying the battle pass on the Xbox and removing the card, which is what I should have done the first place.

[01:17:18] But I'm like, fine, I'll just use the Epic cash and gift my Epic account.

[01:17:24] Just some random games or bullshit, whatever I can buy with 20 bucks for nine battle pass.

[01:17:28] The Epic store does not allow gifting.

[01:17:31] And it has been playing on adding in for the last three years.

[01:17:36] And it's still not implemented that if you buy a skin on your account, but through Epic, you can't play with that skin on Xbox.

[01:17:44] To my understanding, yes, you cannot.

[01:17:46] They are console specific wherever you buy it.

[01:17:49] That's where you use it.

[01:17:51] That's so weird.

[01:17:52] I don't feel like that's how it is for other games.

[01:17:55] That's how it is in Smite as well.

[01:17:59] That's how it is in Final Fantasy 15 as well, too.

[01:18:03] Right. Yeah, it is not 1514.

[01:18:07] That is so weird. I mean, OK.

[01:18:09] Yeah, I don't I just never I don't I guess I've never dealt with consoles want their cut, you know?

[01:18:14] Yeah, because I'm just thinking about it with Xbox and it's like games that are like Xbox PC.

[01:18:20] It usually is fine.

[01:18:22] Like when like in the world of tanks.

[01:18:27] I don't know. Very strange.

[01:18:29] It is very strange.

[01:18:31] But yeah, I fucked that up.

[01:18:33] So I end up spending giving $20 and now I just have $20 in her account.

[01:18:37] It's like what am I going to buy a $20 game on her account and then log into the launcher and then install it and play it on PC myself or whatever.

[01:18:45] I don't think it's off because she's on Fortnite and she wants to do customs.

[01:18:49] Yeah.

[01:18:50] Fucking jumping on things.

[01:18:53] God, I love the jumping on things.

[01:18:55] Whatever. Let's get into this and we're back.

[01:18:58] The quarry when the sun goes down on the last night of summer camp, nine teenage counselors are plunged into an unpredictable night of horror.

[01:19:07] You son of a bitch.

[01:19:09] I deleted the thing he was reading.

[01:19:12] He made it fucking all tilted and shit.

[01:19:17] It doesn't matter.

[01:19:18] There's back. OK, cool.

[01:19:20] The only thing worse than blood drenched locals and creatures hunting them are the unimaginable choices you must make to help them to survive.

[01:19:28] Very positive steam reviews released June 9th, 2022 Supermassive Games 2K games.

[01:19:36] Now, Supermassive is a British video game developer that is known for horror games such as Until Dawn, which they did for Sony and Dark Pictures Anthology,

[01:19:46] which we've covered two titles of on this pod and the quarry.

[01:19:52] Now, and by the way, the quarry is on sale until next Monday.

[01:19:57] You've got three days. Listen, you got three days.

[01:19:59] Fifteen dollars. It's worth that.

[01:20:01] But anyways, history with the game.

[01:20:03] This one's been at the library for a long time and I always look at it, but I've never actually checked it out.

[01:20:09] Yeah, well, I love these games and I buy the dark pictures every time the dark pictures comes out.

[01:20:14] I always buy them. So I really wanted to get this game, but this game was like a seventy dollar release and on the release.

[01:20:21] Yeah, it's fucking it's a full fledged game on release.

[01:20:25] Yeah, I didn't have multiplayer on release. We'll get to that.

[01:20:27] But yeah, it's kind of strange because I also listened to Sacred Sybil talk about this game and they weren't very hot on it.

[01:20:35] But then again, they're also not playing all these dark pictures games and they're not like super horny for fucking co-op like we are.

[01:20:41] So it's like we're these games are made for us.

[01:20:44] These are specifically made for me because I don't like horror movies.

[01:20:49] I like horror games.

[01:20:50] These are horror games that are like horror movies and they're stupid.

[01:20:54] Yeah, or I'm a fucking local Oklahomian.

[01:20:57] So fucking sue me.

[01:20:59] I really yes, spooky game.

[01:21:02] Spooky game for a spooky boy.

[01:21:05] Well, you were talking about your interaction with this game before we played it.

[01:21:11] Yeah, we didn't want to drop the bag on him, but they came straight to Game Pass after a little bit of time.

[01:21:18] I say a little bit of time after two years.

[01:21:20] I am getting steam reviews.

[01:21:22] We don't need that.

[01:21:23] We do. In fact, we got one right here.

[01:21:25] So, Philip, why don't you read this one for me while I'm give me a second?

[01:21:29] Give me a second.

[01:21:30] Okay.

[01:21:31] Holding this room.

[01:21:32] HK420.

[01:21:33] Not that one.

[01:21:34] That.

[01:21:35] But this one's from Mizafu with point nine hours on record, so not even a full hour.

[01:21:42] The only scary thing about this game is its price recommend.

[01:21:47] Yeah, I get that.

[01:21:52] Those are the ones I'm getting.

[01:21:53] And we played nine hours of this game.

[01:21:56] Now, when we break up this review, I think we should have like two segments, one like pre spoilers and then one post spoilers.

[01:22:02] So right now we're in pre spoiler territory.

[01:22:04] Yeah.

[01:22:05] Well, one interesting thing is because all choice based.

[01:22:07] So we only played it once.

[01:22:09] So we can give you our experience.

[01:22:12] That'll be the post spoiler stuff.

[01:22:13] But like you can listen to the post spoiler stuff.

[01:22:15] It will.

[01:22:16] We will give away key plot points so you're going to know what's coming.

[01:22:19] But you might have different results.

[01:22:22] You definitely will have different results.

[01:22:24] There's no way you'd get the same thing as forever.

[01:22:29] But going right into it, I have a lot of bad points on a high line right at the top because this game was not winning a lot of awards from me early on.

[01:22:39] No shared achievements.

[01:22:40] I have zero out of a thousand in this game.

[01:22:42] OK, well, hold on at the top.

[01:22:44] We got to describe what the co-op is online.

[01:22:48] That's important.

[01:22:49] The Wolf Pack mode.

[01:22:51] I think it's called Wolf Pack.

[01:22:53] Right.

[01:22:54] It's something.

[01:22:55] Yeah, it's everything's wolf themed anyways.

[01:22:57] Wolf Pack mode.

[01:22:58] Whoever the host is, is the Alpha Wolf or Wolf Pack leader.

[01:23:02] And they get the final say on every dialogue choice where the characters walk around every interaction, even quick time events.

[01:23:12] They get to decide on if we pass or not.

[01:23:15] OK, so what I would say is if you have played the multiplayer telltale games, it is the exact same as that.

[01:23:22] Where one person is playing with the controller and everyone else is using their phones to vote on which which like dialogue option that you want.

[01:23:30] Yes.

[01:23:31] And so the only difference is, is that there are no timers in this game.

[01:23:37] So you don't have like a you every time there's a choice, unless it's a quick time event or an interrupt, which is another mechanic.

[01:23:44] You get to sit there forever and you can just discuss.

[01:23:48] And the wolf, the person who's hosting that can't they can't choose until everyone in the lobby has chosen, which is annoying because sometimes Philip would fall asleep or something.

[01:23:58] And like I would be like, Philip, Philip, I need you to vote so that I can like it, make my choice that I'm not going to take your shit into consideration.

[01:24:06] Or there's an issue where like my UI was broken and there's just no choices on the screen just to zoom in on someone's face.

[01:24:12] Oh, yeah.

[01:24:13] And then I'm like, Philip, choose a decision or whatever.

[01:24:15] I'm like, there's nothing there.

[01:24:17] So it's held my stick in one direction and then it's selected.

[01:24:21] And I'm like, oh, there you go.

[01:24:23] Yeah. Which how many times that happened?

[01:24:25] Once.

[01:24:26] OK.

[01:24:27] Out of like 10 hours.

[01:24:29] That's not bad.

[01:24:30] Yeah. Only one glitch.

[01:24:31] There's more than more glitches, but only one of that glitch.

[01:24:34] Yeah.

[01:24:35] Which is I'm fine with glitches in games.

[01:24:37] That's big, though.

[01:24:38] With the with the Wolfpack thing, Philip was not playing the whole time.

[01:24:43] So the whole time, Philip was watching a movie and watching me play the game.

[01:24:47] So that is going to be the color of both of our we have a very big divergent experience in this game.

[01:24:53] I think about it this way when I'm playing a 15 minute Halo match, you probably press how many buttons do you think you press?

[01:24:59] Like your fingers are flying all over.

[01:25:00] Hitting every keys, you're jumping, you're shooting, you're looking around, you're crouching, you're dodging, you're rolling all that stuff.

[01:25:05] 2000. Yeah, you more than 2000.

[01:25:07] I got to say, like you're probably hitting like nearly 5000 button presses in 15 minutes.

[01:25:13] I bet in my I didn't even pick up my controller 100 times in like the whole game through play through whatever because like I don't know how many choices we had.

[01:25:23] But a lot of times you just I just push the stick and that was it.

[01:25:26] You know, like I did not even need to touch my controller most of the time.

[01:25:30] Especially like when you're exploring.

[01:25:32] Yeah.

[01:25:34] So it's like the amount of interaction I actually had was very low.

[01:25:38] So I actually spent a lot of time playing my little handheld emulator and just like cleaning out my game library from all the weird games that the Chinese people just load on the SD card when they send over.

[01:25:49] And I'm like, I don't need every I don't need six copies of Jimmy Boy Neutron, Boy Wonder or whatever or Game Boy Advance.

[01:25:58] Like I don't need all this games.

[01:25:59] You don't want the Russian translation?

[01:26:00] No, I don't.

[01:26:01] I don't need and they're like it comes with seven thousand games.

[01:26:04] And I'm like, yeah, it does.

[01:26:07] Anyways, yeah, Wolfpack not a great mode with two to three people like I feel like you'd be better if there were more people voting.

[01:26:17] But imagine having to wait for eight people to vote on every discussion or every dialogue option.

[01:26:24] Yeah, it wouldn't make the game exponentially longer.

[01:26:27] And also, so like I think that the thing is that you're supposed to have a discussion, but like we didn't really have discussions.

[01:26:35] Whenever we first played, it was just me and Philip.

[01:26:37] We played to the end of the first chapter, I think.

[01:26:40] And we just started taking turns like choosing.

[01:26:44] So it was like if it was my turn, I just choose I don't care what Philip did.

[01:26:47] And there was if it was Phil's turn, Philip would choose what he wanted and then I would choose what he wanted.

[01:26:51] But I always had the say.

[01:26:54] And so it's like it's very strange.

[01:26:56] But like we said before, to the game's credit, it didn't release with online multiplayer originally.

[01:27:03] So this is kind of better than nothing.

[01:27:06] But and it's also like they couldn't.

[01:27:09] So every all the dark pictures anthology games, they have a specific multiplayer mode that is a unique experience to online multiplayer.

[01:27:17] Right.

[01:27:18] And so if this was just a free add on, then I can't really complain that they didn't make a fucking fully fledged thing.

[01:27:27] Right. Yeah, I guess if you're just saying that this was just a tacked on after addition, then maybe we can give it a pass.

[01:27:33] But even in then, I feel like they could almost do better with like a jackbox scenario where everyone pull out your phones.

[01:27:39] Yes, I agree.

[01:27:42] So when we like I said before, we it was originally just me and Philip eventually Melissa started playing with us too.

[01:27:49] And our immediate thought was that if there are more than one person voting against the wolf, then it would choose that other option.

[01:27:57] That is how the that is exactly how the multiplayer telltale games work.

[01:28:02] So I assume that it would work this way as well.

[01:28:04] But that is not the case.

[01:28:05] So every if the wolf votes alone and everybody else votes on the other side, then it doesn't matter.

[01:28:11] It's the wolf's game.

[01:28:12] So we follow the wolf.

[01:28:13] So the only reason why the wolf can't vote until everyone else votes is so that the wolf can see what everyone wants to do and take that into consideration for his vote.

[01:28:24] Right. In case they're playing without comms.

[01:28:27] And so you can't like have a discussion.

[01:28:29] That's like another way to force discussion or like force the consideration of the multiplayer room.

[01:28:33] I don't know why you would be playing this about comms because it's much more interesting when you're just throwing words around and just talking, shooting the shit.

[01:28:40] At one point, you try to get Jan to play with us too.

[01:28:43] But yeah, we only have one Series X console.

[01:28:46] This is a fortnight situation.

[01:28:48] This is I boomer again.

[01:28:50] I'm like, oh, don't worry.

[01:28:51] I'll literally just like all cloud game on my PC.

[01:28:54] And then I'll play on the PC.

[01:28:57] Her account be signed in on the Series X.

[01:28:59] And then we'll both each have our own controller.

[01:29:01] We both vote still to independently vote.

[01:29:04] But the cloud version is the Xbox one version, not the Xbox X version, which are two different versions of the game with different achievement lists and everything.

[01:29:15] Yeah.

[01:29:16] Yeah.

[01:29:17] Thanks, Sony.

[01:29:20] Yeah, that's annoying.

[01:29:21] And there's no cross play so I can just like download the PC version or anything like that.

[01:29:26] You could have just you could have cloud game on your phone.

[01:29:28] Oh, no, because we're playing the Series X version.

[01:29:30] Yeah.

[01:29:31] So there's no fucking choice.

[01:29:32] Wait, so there definitely was no way to shit.

[01:29:36] There's definitely no way to I don't know.

[01:29:38] Well, that was our experience.

[01:29:40] Maybe there's a way to do it.

[01:29:41] I don't want to dice.

[01:29:42] I don't want to fucking tech like what is it?

[01:29:46] I.T. this fucking.

[01:29:47] Yeah.

[01:29:48] All right.

[01:29:49] And this is a horror game.

[01:29:50] And as far as like bad, I would say this game is not scary.

[01:29:55] Like I have read scarier Goosebumps books than this game.

[01:29:58] Yeah.

[01:29:59] So I don't really get scared at video games, so I wasn't surprised.

[01:30:04] I wasn't scared of this either, especially when people are around.

[01:30:07] It is so hard to be scared in like a public setting with like people like actively interacting with a thing you're interacting with as well,

[01:30:14] especially if you're goofballs like me and Philip who are like failing quick time events on purpose to see funny things happen.

[01:30:21] But I don't know.

[01:30:23] The game is definitely aiming more towards like a goofy, like teenage romp.

[01:30:30] Right.

[01:30:31] And I we did really well.

[01:30:34] So like bad things didn't happen ever.

[01:30:37] Like we were like kind of metagaming it, I guess, like just trying to figure out because we have played all the dark pictures anthologies.

[01:30:45] And so it's like kind of easy for like they do the same things over and over again.

[01:30:51] Right.

[01:30:52] Whereas like you got to kind of know that if you're going to do something that something bad may happen, I don't know how to describe it.

[01:30:58] It's hard to describe it without spoiling stuff.

[01:31:00] But we got like good stuff.

[01:31:04] Yeah.

[01:31:05] So it might have been more scary if we were fucking up more.

[01:31:08] But we weren't.

[01:31:11] All right.

[01:31:12] So here's some good things that, you know, I noticed right off the bat, a lot of music probably not good for streaming, but a lot of music like they do some fly me to the moon.

[01:31:21] Right in Chapter one.

[01:31:23] Like are you kidding me?

[01:31:24] And then they had Beatles for like the outro credits, I think.

[01:31:28] So a lot of music in this game, like every chapter has like a song like a license song.

[01:31:34] It's similar to how like in Alan Wake, it always as the chapter was ending, like music would start playing.

[01:31:40] That was the same in this game.

[01:31:42] So you like you always were like, do when roundabout popped off and I'm like, do you do good?

[01:31:47] Did roundabout pop up?

[01:31:48] No, roundabout didn't pop up.

[01:31:49] That'd be so funny.

[01:31:51] Dude, I feel like I would remember that one.

[01:31:53] Holy shit.

[01:31:54] I don't think I recognize a single song, but I heard the Beatles and I was like, I think that's the Beatles, but I don't think it was the Beatles.

[01:32:01] I think it was a cover.

[01:32:02] Yeah, it was probably covered.

[01:32:03] It was also a fly me to the moon cover.

[01:32:05] Or was that the cover?

[01:32:06] I don't remember.

[01:32:07] I do specifically remember thinking this sounds like a Beatles song.

[01:32:12] At someone there is an alternate music option whenever I would look at the accessibility and stuff options in the beginning.

[01:32:17] And I'm like, what alternate music are they referring to?

[01:32:20] Because I didn't understand what I was supposed to do.

[01:32:23] But that's for streamers.

[01:32:24] It's like, yeah, why didn't they just call it a streamer music or something like that?

[01:32:28] Like, yeah, that would have been a lie.

[01:32:30] If I saw it.

[01:32:31] Well, yeah, it's because you don't stream.

[01:32:33] But like I saw it also on a high fire rush or high fire rush.

[01:32:37] You have an alternate option where it plays license free like original music instead of the like because there's like every now and it doesn't matter.

[01:32:46] Who cares?

[01:32:47] All right.

[01:32:48] But tons of accessibility options.

[01:32:49] This game is not Elden Ring.

[01:32:51] It will give you everything you want.

[01:32:53] I didn't fuck with this.

[01:32:54] Surprisingly, I looked at it, but everyone was waiting for me to start the game.

[01:32:59] So I was like, OK, yeah, whatever.

[01:33:00] There's like an ability to not matter because there is some quick time eventually going to match the button.

[01:33:04] There's ability to turn that off, which is cool.

[01:33:07] I usually do that because I just think matching buttons is dumb and lame, but I don't like to match the button.

[01:33:13] But we did it this time.

[01:33:14] And the thing is, is that this game was originally did you look this up before?

[01:33:19] No, you were talking about you're saying this was originally on the or whatever.

[01:33:23] Well, I'm pretty sure it was for like the Amazon, the Amazon thing.

[01:33:28] It was an exclusive for something.

[01:33:30] Stadia.

[01:33:31] Yeah, it was the Google Stadia.

[01:33:33] So it was going to be a Stadia exclusive, which is which is a streaming platform.

[01:33:38] You can't get physical games or download the you can't download the game.

[01:33:42] So you always are streaming.

[01:33:44] So all of the quick time events and all of the things that's exactly why whenever you do the choices like they're always paused completely.

[01:33:52] I think because I think in the dark pictures anthologies, you have a timer to do choices as well.

[01:33:56] In this game, it's very loose with everything.

[01:34:00] All the all the quick time events are very there.

[01:34:04] None of them ever sneak up on you.

[01:34:05] They're always like announced like they're like here's a quick time event coming up.

[01:34:09] Get ready. Are you ready?

[01:34:10] Get your finger on the stick.

[01:34:11] And it's always a stick movement.

[01:34:13] Right. Yeah.

[01:34:15] And then there is a there was a mechanic in all the dark pictures games that are like the hold your breath moments where you have to do like a rhythm game.

[01:34:23] Hit the button on the beat.

[01:34:24] Yeah.

[01:34:25] Even though it's not every time.

[01:34:26] Yeah.

[01:34:27] It fucking sucked.

[01:34:28] Well, in this game, you just hold the button down until the fucking guy walks away and it is painfully easy.

[01:34:33] But I'm every time I run into one of those new mechanics, I'm like, oh yeah, this is a stream.

[01:34:38] This was a game that was supposed to be exclusively streaming.

[01:34:41] So it would be very frustrating if your character got killed by the monster if because the fucking game lagged for a second and then fucked you over.

[01:34:49] Right.

[01:34:51] A lot of this stuff.

[01:34:52] It's like, OK, so the multiplayer sucks.

[01:34:54] But you know, there's reasons and then the fucking the quick time events are terrible.

[01:34:58] But there are reasons.

[01:34:59] So it's like I'm always walking my way back in this game specifically just from knowing like the the background of it all.

[01:35:07] And I guess also just like getting a lot of passes.

[01:35:10] Yeah.

[01:35:11] It's getting a weird amount of passes.

[01:35:13] I'm unnaturally engaged in this in this part.

[01:35:16] All right.

[01:35:17] So I think that's all the pre-spoilers unless you got anything.

[01:35:21] It'll come up.

[01:35:22] All right.

[01:35:23] So we're getting right into it.

[01:35:25] One thing I want to touch on is right at the beginning, we talked about how you said we knew things because we played the other games that like to help us like what to make the right choice in the very beginning like Chapter three or whatever.

[01:35:38] Jacob, our our jock, our Freddy or whatever.

[01:35:42] Yeah, Fred.

[01:35:43] Fred from Scooby Doo.

[01:35:44] Fred from Scooby Doo.

[01:35:45] He's underwater and he's tangled in barbed wire and chains.

[01:35:49] And you get an option where it's like yank your arm out or untangle your arm, like take your time or whatever.

[01:35:56] That is actually the first death available for him.

[01:35:59] And he can die there without knowing anything about any of the killers or monsters or anything like that in this game.

[01:36:06] Oh, really?

[01:36:07] You look this stuff up.

[01:36:08] Yeah, like I was doing research today about this game.

[01:36:10] That is like the first step.

[01:36:11] And he's the only character that can die without uncovering the mystery of what is this place called the Hackett quarry or whatever?

[01:36:22] He can die as a dumb him, though, if you wanted to.

[01:36:26] He's the dummy.

[01:36:27] Like he was my favorite character at the very beginning.

[01:36:30] Like I like right out the gate.

[01:36:31] He's my favorite character.

[01:36:32] Who is your favorite character?

[01:36:34] Looking at the list.

[01:36:35] I linked it in there if you want to click on it.

[01:36:36] So just going down the list we have.

[01:36:38] They're all our types, of course.

[01:36:40] We have Laura, who seems to be like she's a veterinarian student and very capable.

[01:36:48] The boyfriend Max.

[01:36:50] These are the two people in the prologue.

[01:36:52] Yeah, we have the alternative girl, Abby.

[01:36:57] We have the I guess she's just like the badass one.

[01:37:03] Caitlin Asian.

[01:37:05] Yeah, that's girl.

[01:37:06] She's actually not that badass, too.

[01:37:08] She basically puts these out every single time there's a fight.

[01:37:11] Well, she talks a game.

[01:37:14] You're seeing, but she's also like she's the best shot with a gun by far.

[01:37:19] But she the first chance she gets to shoot, she immediately just surrenders the gun to the black guy.

[01:37:25] He's got me.

[01:37:26] I actually see that.

[01:37:28] I actually see that.

[01:37:29] He looks away.

[01:37:30] She could have shot him back in the gun.

[01:37:32] I'm like, how could you lose the gun?

[01:37:34] He walked slowly towards her.

[01:37:36] She aims her gun at him and then he just grabs it and she goes, fuck this.

[01:37:40] And she doesn't even fight for the gun.

[01:37:42] She literally just goes, fuck this.

[01:37:43] And then just she throws her hands up in the air and runs away.

[01:37:47] We have Nick, a character who gets taken out of the action very fast.

[01:37:51] So we don't worry about him.

[01:37:52] We have Emma, who is that was your favorite character?

[01:37:55] No, I'm just going down the list of characters.

[01:37:57] We have Emma, who is an influencer and we have Daphne.

[01:38:02] Yeah, we have Ryan, who seems to be one of our main type of protagonist.

[01:38:07] We're around him a lot.

[01:38:09] He listens to podcasts, so he's a bit of a freak.

[01:38:12] Every time he was talking, I made a joke about how he is like, yeah, I'm over here listening to gaming together or cooperative podcast, my favorite podcast for video.

[01:38:20] We didn't take this game too seriously.

[01:38:25] I don't know if you guys have picked up on that list.

[01:38:27] Yeah, so he's the weirdo, but he's got the heart of a hero.

[01:38:31] Next up we have Dylan, who is a nerdy guy who puts up a sarcastic facade or something like that.

[01:38:39] He's pretty good.

[01:38:40] He's also gay.

[01:38:41] Dylan might be my favorite actually.

[01:38:43] And Jacob, who we've already established is the Fred.

[01:38:48] He's a fucking moron.

[01:38:52] So just in our teenagers, yeah, I think Dylan's my favorite because he he says a lot of stupid stuff and a lot of it doesn't hit.

[01:39:01] But for like the fiversome that does hit, I'm like, that's pretty funny.

[01:39:05] So specifically speaking, Dylan was probably my favorite acted character because he had a lot of like nuance to like the way that he said things and like the mocap was really good.

[01:39:16] This game looks like 10 times better than all of the dark pictures and all of these games.

[01:39:22] Like the facial animation.

[01:39:24] It looks like a movie.

[01:39:27] If you put all of the dark, if you put all of Supermassive's games side by side, not counting until dawn because that throws off my fucking analogy.

[01:39:34] But if you put them all together side by side and said all of these are forty dollars games except one of them seventy dollars, which one is it?

[01:39:40] Every 100 percent of people would pick this one.

[01:39:42] And because that's correct, you can see the game is like way more expensive than all the other ones.

[01:39:48] But you can see where that money went.

[01:39:50] Like this game is what do they are impressive?

[01:39:52] These are like full on TV actors to that when full mocap for this.

[01:39:57] They're in other stuff as well.

[01:39:59] Like I think every single person hit it out of the park and the only person I ever had problems with was the was the was the Daphne girl, the the influencer girl.

[01:40:08] But even then it was only like maybe 15 percent of the time she was moving her mouth like a little bit too much.

[01:40:14] And so it kind of like it reminded me I was watching a video game, but this game, it looks fucking good.

[01:40:21] It doesn't look like real life, but it looks like you know how Beowulf is real life, but they just put like a filter over it or something like that.

[01:40:28] It looks like it looks like a real life movie, but they just put like a filter over it to make it look less real.

[01:40:34] You know what I mean?

[01:40:35] Oh, yeah. Yeah.

[01:40:37] It's like the only thing weird off might be like the lighting might be slightly odd.

[01:40:41] But yeah, it's probably like we talk about Bobby, one of the hack.

[01:40:45] It's we'll get into later.

[01:40:47] He's just really wet and shiny all the time.

[01:40:49] Yeah, he's oiled up.

[01:40:52] I take it back.

[01:40:54] Bobby's my favorite character.

[01:40:55] Do Bobby's real good.

[01:40:56] Like we didn't talk about the hack.

[01:40:57] We didn't talk about the hack.

[01:40:58] It's yet.

[01:40:59] But of course, there is a hillbilly family involved with these camp counselors featuring Bobby Jedidiah, Constance, Travis, Chris.

[01:41:09] And yeah, that's all the hack.

[01:41:11] It's oh, Philip.

[01:41:13] Good news.

[01:41:14] Cox, my Internet provider is still currently working to get my Internet back online.

[01:41:19] Well, good.

[01:41:20] I'm glad they're working on it, even though they said we were going fine.

[01:41:23] It might be up by one twenty three a.m.

[01:41:25] If you want to do the podcast, then.

[01:41:29] All right.

[01:41:30] I'll schedule that.

[01:41:31] So those are some of the characters just for fun.

[01:41:35] I grabbed a bunch of the dialogue that I thought was really kind of funny.

[01:41:41] Like I linked it all down there, too.

[01:41:43] But you mentioned Bobby, one that Bobby did that I think was like the best.

[01:41:47] Bobby is a big kind of.

[01:41:50] He's a dumb dumb.

[01:41:52] He's like, who is that guy from Brother Where Art Thou?

[01:41:55] The big one.

[01:41:56] So you've never actually seen the movie, but the guy, the bunny, you know, the listeners know.

[01:42:02] Yeah, he's I don't even know the main characters.

[01:42:04] He's a giant dude.

[01:42:06] At one point, he is trying to stab Ryan with a knife.

[01:42:10] He even stabs Ryan and Ryan runs away and the knife is still on his side.

[01:42:13] And Bobby's like, well, he took my knife.

[01:42:16] Well, that's the thing.

[01:42:17] Well, the thing is, is I use OK.

[01:42:19] So that's a that's a thing you can do when you get stabbed with a knife.

[01:42:22] You can pull it out.

[01:42:23] But I have been stabbed with something before and I pulled it out and I fainted from blood loss.

[01:42:29] So I personally know you name is really not do not pull the knife out after he was stabbed.

[01:42:36] Do not pull the thing that stabbed you out of you unless you can immediately get attention.

[01:42:41] Like, like, don't do that.

[01:42:43] Everyone the five people who might get stabbed at some point in their life listening to this.

[01:42:47] I mean, we're not medical professionals, but anyways, so Ryan is basically worried that Bobby's going to kill him.

[01:42:55] Ryan pulls the knife out of his own side and stabs Bobby and like the chest like in the same spot.

[01:43:03] Basically, it probably says you stabbed me.

[01:43:08] That really hurt.

[01:43:09] And then he said, I'm going to tell my dad.

[01:43:12] And then you ran.

[01:43:13] He's like, I've never been stabbed before.

[01:43:15] And he's the lobby is the whole time.

[01:43:18] You're not sure about this, but it is implied that Bobby is not mentally there.

[01:43:23] Like he is basically a child and a giant man's body.

[01:43:26] And the first time that you really get like a good idea of that is you find a giant hat with a spinner on top of it.

[01:43:34] But it is a huge hat.

[01:43:36] So it is like, who the fuck's hat is this?

[01:43:38] And it's clearly Bobby's.

[01:43:40] He's still wears, I guess.

[01:43:43] Yeah.

[01:43:44] And so it is just a random spot.

[01:43:46] So it is just like, OK, that guy's fucking dumb because no normal guy is wearing this fucking propeller hat.

[01:43:52] So yeah, anyway.

[01:43:55] Another good line.

[01:43:56] This is from Jacob, your big boy, the dumb Fred.

[01:44:00] Yeah, this is my favorite line of lines.

[01:44:04] For context for this is that he is arguing with Daphne.

[01:44:08] They're on again, off again.

[01:44:09] They're not.

[01:44:10] They're kind of breaking up basically.

[01:44:11] And she's trying to make him jealous and stuff.

[01:44:13] And she's making a mad and he's explaining to her how he feels.

[01:44:17] And then at the end of like four sentences, he screams this.

[01:44:21] Oh, yeah.

[01:44:22] Jesus whapped.

[01:44:24] Yeah.

[01:44:25] I don't even know what like the lead up was.

[01:44:28] But it was just like it was just it all comes to that in multiple characters actually say this line.

[01:44:32] I don't know if we triggered anymore.

[01:44:34] Yeah, but this is a recurring catchphrase.

[01:44:36] Other characters also say Jesus whapped.

[01:44:39] I wonder if they wanted to say Jesus Christ and they're like, that's a little too hardcore for like the vibe we're going for.

[01:44:46] And so they're like, OK, well, Jesus whapped.

[01:44:49] And it is just infinitely funnier.

[01:44:51] Like it is especially like he screams it out over the dog.

[01:44:56] Jesus whapped.

[01:45:00] Jacob specifically, he says fuck in one line in the next line.

[01:45:05] He says, darn a scooby doo or something like that.

[01:45:09] Like he like does like a fake curse in the next like whenever he gets back to the camp, he's like, what the skippity dee is happening around here when people are like dying or going missing in the woods.

[01:45:21] Maybe that's just zoom or talk and we just don't know.

[01:45:24] Yeah, I don't know.

[01:45:26] No way.

[01:45:27] They're definitely supposed to be like.

[01:45:29] Modern cell phones, don't they?

[01:45:31] I don't you don't never get you never get like a good look at their cell phones, but I think they may be modern.

[01:45:37] Also, this game is going for the fucking aesthetic like the 80s aesthetic of these guys are supposed to be like early college, late high school kids, but they look like 30 year old adults because even generally, why do they look so old?

[01:45:53] Meanwhile, my but go back and watch the old movies where they're supposed to be in high school and everyone looks like 30s 30 40 year olds.

[01:46:01] It's yeah, it's specifically the dude that played the boyfriend Max or whatever that dude is like 28 or something like that.

[01:46:09] So what?

[01:46:11] It's so funny because you were talking to Jana and you were like you were talking to her about that.

[01:46:17] What did I say?

[01:46:18] Because I went on something and you're oh no.

[01:46:21] So I was screaming about that.

[01:46:23] I was like, it's an aesthetic and you're like Naive says it's an aesthetic and I was like, you can't put children in children roles anymore because of the Nickelodeon thing.

[01:46:31] The Dan Schneider and then he's like now he's screaming about Dan Schneider because you're doing a fucking telephone game with your wife and me.

[01:46:41] Yeah.

[01:46:43] He's talking about the diddler now.

[01:46:49] It's always something with that naeve character, our big dumb Jacob.

[01:46:53] He after doing his Jesus wept at one point he had to get into a building this like chapter one and so he crawled through the window and he went through it and he's like skill as soon as he gets in.

[01:47:03] But then of course, Naeve has to go back and try because I wanted to try to.

[01:47:06] I'm like, you know, we got to go back through the window again.

[01:47:08] He goes out the window and he goes double skill.

[01:47:12] Like, can we get a triple skill?

[01:47:14] And he crawls back in and he just says, oh, and grunts.

[01:47:19] Unfortunate.

[01:47:20] Or another point.

[01:47:22] He's with Daphne and what's not Daphne.

[01:47:24] It's whatever her name is.

[01:47:25] But basically Fred and Daphne are looking for beer in the in the random in the random store that's on the camp.

[01:47:34] And he's walking around like holding out his arm going like, and she's like, what the fuck are you doing?

[01:47:42] And he's like, it's my beer.

[01:47:43] Dar.

[01:47:44] It's me.

[01:47:45] Dar for beers.

[01:47:46] And I'm like, I love this guy.

[01:47:48] I can't tell if I like this writing or am inwardly like cringing about how cheesy stupid this is.

[01:47:56] I want to be Jacob's friend.

[01:48:00] He's a great friend.

[01:48:01] Oh, he's a real.

[01:48:02] Oh, my God.

[01:48:03] When he gets in a stupid fight with like Ryan or whatever, he like punches him square in the face.

[01:48:09] And then Jacob's like, I'm going to beat his ass.

[01:48:14] Why, Jacob?

[01:48:15] Why do you got to be Ryan's ass?

[01:48:17] Because or no, wasn't Ryan.

[01:48:19] He was like the other one guy for kissing his girlfriend or whatever.

[01:48:22] Like Nick. Yeah, the guy that went away.

[01:48:24] This is one of those A wall for a long time.

[01:48:27] It is a good reason, though.

[01:48:28] Let's see other good lines that went through.

[01:48:30] Oh, Dylan, they were trying to use a giant claw machine thing or whatever.

[01:48:36] It's a magnet in a scrap yard.

[01:48:37] That was it.

[01:48:38] And he looks like the thing that picks up the cars.

[01:48:41] He looks over a Kaleen.

[01:48:42] He's like, I used to be pretty good at the claw game in my local arcade.

[01:48:46] Kids called me the grabber.

[01:48:52] She just stared at him.

[01:48:53] He's like, no, I mean, that was a good.

[01:48:55] I wasn't grabbing little kids at the arcade.

[01:49:01] Oh, God, it's good to do it.

[01:49:03] Yeah, it's good.

[01:49:04] Some of the like this is like the writing.

[01:49:07] This game is it's going to live or die by the writing pretty much.

[01:49:10] And so many of these are actually really good.

[01:49:14] Some of them are these are real.

[01:49:15] I mostly put the stupid ones in here because those are my favorite ones

[01:49:18] because they caught my attention because every other scene was basically like,

[01:49:22] oh, great, great.

[01:49:23] The influencer girl is talking again.

[01:49:24] I don't like anything she says pretty much.

[01:49:27] But then Jacob comes in with it.

[01:49:29] It's my beard are I be like, what is happening?

[01:49:32] This guy is out of touch with reality.

[01:49:34] He like he's living the sitcom while everyone else is like struggling.

[01:49:39] By the way, he's the whole reason why people may or may not die

[01:49:43] in this game is because he wants to fuck Daphne.

[01:49:46] So he's like he sabotaged the going.

[01:49:50] I love it.

[01:49:53] All right, so like they think they're about to die.

[01:49:56] Another good line.

[01:49:57] Ryan and Dylan are trying to call the police on the one phone

[01:50:00] that has a connection or whatever.

[01:50:02] And Ryan's like, who should we call?

[01:50:04] And Dylan says, call 91 1.

[01:50:07] And Ryan said, you mean 9 1 1.

[01:50:10] Who says 91?

[01:50:12] It's not even like they are like worried about dying right now.

[01:50:15] And they just don't know what to do.

[01:50:17] They are like worried about dying right now, and they just have to throw out

[01:50:20] this stupid line.

[01:50:21] I appreciate that.

[01:50:22] No. Okay.

[01:50:23] So at this point, they're not worried about dying specifically, right?

[01:50:27] Because they don't know something horrible is happening.

[01:50:30] We're being overrun by a herd of bears.

[01:50:33] Yeah. So as far as they know, one of them got attacked by an animal.

[01:50:37] Maybe like, you know, and so yeah, so they're kind of still in goof off mode.

[01:50:43] This Ryan character, though, or not the Ryan.

[01:50:46] No, yes, the Ryan.

[01:50:47] So the Ryan character, the podcast listener, he's kind of like the the deadpan.

[01:50:52] What is it called?

[01:50:53] Yeah, he's the deadpan.

[01:50:54] He's like more stoic like he'll he has the dry humor compared to the wise

[01:51:00] cracks of Ryan.

[01:51:02] Yeah.

[01:51:03] So they go good together like those two because the the straight Dylan,

[01:51:07] the Dillon's always like fucking being really stupid.

[01:51:10] And then Ryan's just being very straight.

[01:51:12] Oh, there was one line that I didn't include here.

[01:51:14] But right after the make the phone call, there's a gun on the wall.

[01:51:17] And Dylan, the crack wisecrack guy is like, Oh, I need this gun.

[01:51:22] You know, there's something like that.

[01:51:25] And he's like, No, you don't need the gun.

[01:51:27] He's like, My mom always said be prepared when you're going in to do

[01:51:31] some business or something like that.

[01:51:32] And he's like, I think she was talking about condoms.

[01:51:35] He's like, I'm not going to fuck a bear.

[01:51:37] And I'm like, What?

[01:51:40] So fucking stupid.

[01:51:42] Another dumb line he throws out when he's talking to Caitlin.

[01:51:46] Is there something like what kind of podcast do you listen to?

[01:51:51] Caitlin or something like that?

[01:51:53] It's like, I bet you look at listen to how to look and smell like

[01:51:56] but the podcast and she's like, Oh, my God, you're so childish.

[01:52:00] At least I don't look and smell like a but.

[01:52:03] That's it.

[01:52:05] Yeah.

[01:52:06] We talk about podcast, though.

[01:52:08] Yeah.

[01:52:09] How to look and smell like a but that could be the title.

[01:52:12] There's one bit where Ryan is about to catch the keys thrown by the

[01:52:16] camp owner or whatever, Chris.

[01:52:18] And we failed to catch the keys and the keys just fall on the

[01:52:21] ground in the camp guy.

[01:52:24] This adult just says you beefed it when the keys.

[01:52:30] Just looks at him.

[01:52:31] Just disappointed.

[01:52:32] Yeah.

[01:52:33] Now there's one more.

[01:52:34] I linked it in their Navy.

[01:52:35] Want to take a look?

[01:52:36] I'll probably put the audio in there and listen.

[01:52:38] But this line is so good.

[01:52:40] Marcus is a connoisseur of anything that's free.

[01:52:42] I'm getting a tax tax term tax thing.

[01:52:45] This plays when the sheriff is basically interviewing Laura

[01:52:49] trying to get the truth out of her about what she knows, I guess.

[01:52:53] Okay, Sheriff Hackett.

[01:52:57] Wait, Hackett like Chris Hackett.

[01:53:00] Don't change the subject.

[01:53:03] What the fuck is going on here, man?

[01:53:05] You have no idea what's going on here.

[01:53:08] Not a goddamn clue.

[01:53:10] You just stepped in some great a double prime.

[01:53:12] Go ahead and kill yourself.

[01:53:14] Cosmic type shit, young lady.

[01:53:16] Oh, yeah.

[01:53:17] Option is to buckle the fuck up and do what I say.

[01:53:20] Do you understand?

[01:53:21] I understand.

[01:53:23] Dude, if someone said that to me, I'd be like, I understand.

[01:53:27] You've earned a cosmic double whatever.

[01:53:31] But kill yourself.

[01:53:32] Type bullshit like that's the writing you get in this game.

[01:53:35] Some of the lines are so good, but then a lot of it is spent walking around.

[01:53:41] I wonder how this pertains to the case type stuff like so that doesn't matter.

[01:53:46] So by the way, this character, Travis, he so I was I was I was pretty sure

[01:53:51] that this was Sam Raimi's brother the whole time we were playing the game.

[01:53:55] And I kept mentioning it over and over.

[01:53:57] It is said maybe his brother.

[01:53:59] Absolutely.

[01:54:01] So I'm looking at it right now.

[01:54:02] His name is Ted Raimi and he was in the Evil Dead Evil Dead 2 Spider-Man trilogy.

[01:54:08] So, yeah, I knew I knew it.

[01:54:10] I knew it.

[01:54:11] I knew it.

[01:54:12] Which is pretty cool because I was the whole time we were playing this game.

[01:54:16] I was like, dude, this is so Evil Dead.

[01:54:18] Like there's so many moments I'm just like, this is so fucking Evil Dead.

[01:54:20] Like it's insane.

[01:54:22] Big Evil Dead energy.

[01:54:23] If you like Evil Dead, this game gets the endorsement.

[01:54:27] Time for story.

[01:54:28] Evil Dead's.

[01:54:29] OK.

[01:54:30] Story talk now.

[01:54:31] So first of all, big spoilers.

[01:54:34] This game is about werewolves.

[01:54:35] I did not see that coming.

[01:54:37] I didn't know why we saw the fucking in.

[01:54:40] We saw the monsters like eight times before we realized they were werewolves.

[01:54:44] Yeah, well, they don't look like traditional werewolves.

[01:54:47] Of course, they look like dog people, I guess.

[01:54:50] They don't even look like they look like fucking cryptids.

[01:54:54] Do you like there's some they don't look like anything I've ever fucking.

[01:54:57] They have like big old eyeball things and like their weird mouth.

[01:55:00] They don't look like a fucking wolf at all.

[01:55:02] Like it's so interesting.

[01:55:03] I might even put it in the art.

[01:55:05] That would be weird to put it in the thumbnail art.

[01:55:07] Maybe I'll I don't know.

[01:55:08] I'll figure something out, but I kind of want the viewer to just see what they look like.

[01:55:13] Or wait, no, I won't do that.

[01:55:14] Play the fucking game, you loser.

[01:55:16] You idiot.

[01:55:17] It's in game best.

[01:55:18] You dumbass.

[01:55:19] Oh, one thing I never highlighted.

[01:55:20] You can actually play the wolf pack mode for free if you download the demo.

[01:55:24] Only one person is owed on the game.

[01:55:26] Yeah, the owner can invite people in the demo to come play the full game with them.

[01:55:30] Oh, like fucking that's that's a it takes two style, dude.

[01:55:34] That's what it takes to.

[01:55:36] So I didn't put that in the pros, but that is one of the pros.

[01:55:40] Anyways, the story.

[01:55:41] Yeah. So it's about werewolves and gypsies and family curses and hillbillies.

[01:55:47] Yeah, hillbillies.

[01:55:49] The hillbillies are just an accident.

[01:55:51] Yeah, they just kind of they were there.

[01:55:53] That was it.

[01:55:54] So they started the whole thing on accident.

[01:55:57] Yeah, it's like it's so weird because once we uncover the mystery, I'm like, that's it.

[01:56:03] I feel like it's kind of disappointing because it's like eight years ago.

[01:56:07] Stop me if I mess this up because we didn't even talk about how we played this game, like how we did it in like two sitting.

[01:56:13] OK, yeah.

[01:56:14] So we did the we did the prologue and chapter one in one sitting, which took about an hour and a half because there's a lot of exposition.

[01:56:21] And then we did chapter three, chapter two all the way through chapter 10 and the epilogue, which Philip didn't watch.

[01:56:27] So you just left.

[01:56:28] So we watched everything.

[01:56:29] We played.

[01:56:30] So we played it from like seven or eight p.m.

[01:56:35] All the way to like three or four in the morning.

[01:56:38] We thought was a trooper.

[01:56:40] He was trying to tap out.

[01:56:41] Janna was talking shit.

[01:56:42] So he did.

[01:56:43] She's like, you're going to be a baby and quit.

[01:56:45] You guys never finish your games for the pods anymore.

[01:56:47] I'm like, well, I can't have my wife of 10 years call me a baby.

[01:56:52] So I'm like, fine.

[01:56:53] We did it.

[01:56:54] And then like, it's like four a.m.

[01:56:55] And she is like pass it on the couch next to me.

[01:56:57] I'm like, let's go to bed.

[01:56:58] And she's like, what time is it?

[01:57:01] It's four a.m.

[01:57:03] We stayed up all night playing the quarry.

[01:57:07] I was happy.

[01:57:08] The more I drank, the more I fell in love with this game.

[01:57:11] Honestly, I was I was enjoying myself the whole time.

[01:57:14] Like I was kind of drunk when we started because that was the day JP came over to do a full shrimp boy or whatever.

[01:57:19] And so we've been drinking all day eating shrimp and stuff.

[01:57:21] So I got sober as the opposite of my trajectory.

[01:57:26] We were like the lines going up and down like we passed each other.

[01:57:30] And so you were like, I can't hear anyone talking to me.

[01:57:33] I feel like I'm like, I just don't want to talk anymore at this point.

[01:57:36] It's like, well, it's like we were the game would have been finished by like two thirty.

[01:57:41] But we had so many technical issues, crashing Internet issues on my end.

[01:57:46] Some Internet issues on your end, causing us to disconnect.

[01:57:49] Also, I was having weird connection issues with just Xbox parties in general.

[01:57:55] So that also prevented me at one point.

[01:57:57] I was like, I just play without me.

[01:57:59] The solar flare, the eclipse got me.

[01:58:01] Apocalypse.

[01:58:03] But anyways, we trooper through this one for you, the listeners.

[01:58:06] And I really am so sorry for you.

[01:58:09] And I really am still not sure if it was worth it or not, because I was so tired.

[01:58:14] And the next day I'm like, so we recording that six name and they wakes up at seven thirty p.m.

[01:58:20] I was asleep and I'm like, yeah, me.

[01:58:23] Well, I stayed up.

[01:58:25] I woke up at fucking like eight o'clock that day and I wrote a college paper like my schoolwork

[01:58:31] because I'm like, I got to do it now because we can't do it tonight because we're recording.

[01:58:35] And here's the problem.

[01:58:36] It doesn't show up.

[01:58:37] OK, so here's the problem.

[01:58:38] All right. So this game doesn't have a ton of gameplay.

[01:58:41] So I ended up pounding out like 13 or 14 beers while I was playing it.

[01:58:46] Oh, so that's like over the course of like six hours.

[01:58:50] That's not crazy.

[01:58:51] But then once you guys left, I started playing fucking Bellotro and pounding beers.

[01:58:57] I drink like 19 beers and I was dead when I woke up in a drunk Bellotro.

[01:59:03] I'm sure that was a great gaming experience.

[01:59:05] I'm pretty sure I went to sleep at like six or seven.

[01:59:07] I don't remember if the fucking sun was up.

[01:59:09] I don't remember anything at all.

[01:59:11] I don't I don't remember the night.

[01:59:12] Like, I mean, I remember playing the quarry, but I don't remember anything really after that.

[01:59:18] And so I ended up just sleeping all day just trying to fucking recover.

[01:59:22] Yeah, I don't blame me, I guess.

[01:59:24] All right. But anyways, this game is about werewolves.

[01:59:26] I can't remember what we were talking about specifically.

[01:59:28] Oh, the source of the werewolves.

[01:59:30] So gypsies roll in the town.

[01:59:33] They have a basically a Baba Yaga Baba Yellowlegs type which that's a fortune teller or whatever.

[01:59:41] And she's got a son who's Silas the dog boy and they keep him in a cage.

[01:59:46] Now, is Silas always a werewolf?

[01:59:51] I'm pretty sure he was a werewolf.

[01:59:53] Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was the wolf boy because he was a werewolf.

[01:59:57] So what I have here's the weird part though.

[02:00:01] Was he a werewolf before the curse?

[02:00:05] No, I'm pretty sure the curse was like the Hackett's family's curse.

[02:00:10] Right. Like they referred to it as a curse because they got cursed with werewolf ism.

[02:00:15] But like they the the the old lady always had a werewolf son and I don't know where that I don't.

[02:00:23] OK, so it goes by vampire.

[02:00:25] Yes.

[02:00:27] Yes. So but it goes by vampire rules where if you kill the werewolf that beat you, then you are no longer a werewolf.

[02:00:36] So but there is a there is the werewolf that bit everybody.

[02:00:41] If you so it's like if you go all the way up the ladder.

[02:00:44] OK, so if Philip gets bit by his wife, Janna, who is a werewolf,

[02:00:50] Philip turns into a werewolf, Philip bites me who now turns me into a werewolf.

[02:00:54] If me and Philip kill Janna, neither of us are werewolves anymore because it's like cutting the top of the root off.

[02:01:01] If that makes sense. Yeah, I think you're over explaining this.

[02:01:04] Yeah, it's normal vampire rules.

[02:01:06] Kill the vampire that beat you to turn back to normal is the other do Dracula.

[02:01:10] You know, I don't know. I don't I really don't know.

[02:01:12] I just knew I knew vaguely was vampire rules.

[02:01:15] I don't know how vampires specifically work.

[02:01:17] They do like if we're getting the werewolf myth, they do do do do.

[02:01:21] Do do when you get bit by the werewolf, you will transform that night and you will stay a werewolf for one month till the next full moon.

[02:01:30] Then you'll turn back to your human form.

[02:01:33] I don't know. They don't.

[02:01:35] I thought they did that like that was why he was in the cell as a werewolf for a long time and she didn't know he was over there.

[02:01:41] So over one night. No, but we had flashbacks to two months ago.

[02:01:46] Yeah, but he kept coming back as no.

[02:01:48] See, he would they would take him out of the cell and he'd become a werewolf and then he'd bring him back.

[02:01:54] Remember? Okay, remember he okay.

[02:01:57] Well, that wasn't the first time he became a werewolf.

[02:02:00] But so in the flash, it's spotty because the flashback is time skipping all the time.

[02:02:04] I'm pretty sure they didn't stay at a werewolf.

[02:02:07] I might be misspeaking then.

[02:02:09] I but werewolves are traditionally weak to silver and you have to kill the head werewolf to save everyone.

[02:02:15] Now I've never heard that before.

[02:02:17] What the silver?

[02:02:19] The killing the head werewolf. No, the silver thing is like obvious.

[02:02:22] That was your sport.

[02:02:24] Yeah, we're born as human beings to know to stab werewolves with silver.

[02:02:27] We know that.

[02:02:28] Okay. Yeah.

[02:02:29] And you use wooden stakes on vampires.

[02:02:31] All right.

[02:02:32] Yeah. But the head werewolf thing, that's definitely a vampire thing.

[02:02:34] I think.

[02:02:36] Anyways, going back, we have a gypsy who does this weird thing where she she thinks that I don't know why she can revenge on him because they burned down her gypsy camp and killed her family.

[02:02:54] And Silas escaped.

[02:02:55] Yeah, Silas escaped.

[02:02:56] Silas is still out there.

[02:02:59] Yeah, but that's the only way.

[02:03:00] I don't know.

[02:03:01] She's a lady.

[02:03:02] Go.

[02:03:03] Maybe.

[02:03:05] Yeah, she definitely died.

[02:03:06] I think she became a ghost is what they're trying to say.

[02:03:08] And she haunts the area as Hackett's.

[02:03:12] Hag of Hackett.

[02:03:14] Yeah, yeah, Haggis Creek or whatever.

[02:03:16] Yeah.

[02:03:17] Looking for a baby boy who's a werewolf.

[02:03:20] Yes.

[02:03:21] So for eight years, Silas has been running around the quarry and.

[02:03:26] And by the way, this game has a podcast you can listen to.

[02:03:29] I know.

[02:03:30] Did you look at that?

[02:03:31] Built-in podcast.

[02:03:32] I saw it too.

[02:03:33] So you can like listen to the podcast.

[02:03:35] Yeah, it's like Alan Wake where you watch the TV shows every once in a while.

[02:03:39] Yeah.

[02:03:40] Well, at the end of the game, the epilogue is literally just listening to an episode of the podcast.

[02:03:46] That's just talking about like where what happened.

[02:03:48] Well, the epilogue is like this is what happened where everyone's at now and like how they died or how they survived or whatever.

[02:03:55] And so which spoiler alert for our playthrough, we saved everybody.

[02:04:00] Except for the Hackett's.

[02:04:02] All the Hackett's died.

[02:04:03] Oh yeah, the Hackett's died.

[02:04:04] And the Hackett, dude, I wanted Travis to live and there was a quick time event at the very end of the game where you're wrestling for the gun.

[02:04:12] And I wanted to so he no it's not even your wrestling for the gun.

[02:04:16] Hackett.

[02:04:17] So you see Silas.

[02:04:18] Now you've had the premonition from the old lady that you shouldn't kill the werewolf.

[02:04:25] I think it's not clear.

[02:04:27] She suggested.

[02:04:28] Yeah, which of course she'd say that because it's her son.

[02:04:31] But it like everything she said so far has been true.

[02:04:33] So I'm like I don't know if we should kill the werewolf.

[02:04:37] But Travis is trying to kill the werewolf.

[02:04:39] She never said that Travis shouldn't kill the werewolf.

[02:04:43] So I was like, I thought because she wants us to kill the Hackett's.

[02:04:47] Travis is a Hackett.

[02:04:48] I thought that if Travis took the shotgun and shot the werewolf, the werewolf would maybe kill Travis.

[02:04:55] Yeah, like I thought they would kill each other or something.

[02:04:57] I don't know.

[02:04:58] But whenever you fail.

[02:05:01] OK, so there's a quick time event where Travis grabs the shotgun.

[02:05:04] I thought that if you fail this quick time event, Travis takes the shotgun.

[02:05:07] That's what you would.

[02:05:08] That's what anyone would think.

[02:05:09] But if you fail the quick time event, you shoot Hackett in the stomach, killing him.

[02:05:14] What happened earlier where you won a quick time event against Mama Hackett and you blew her face off when she was.

[02:05:23] No, you for the shotgun.

[02:05:24] I but I wanted to shoot her.

[02:05:26] Like I wanted to blow her face.

[02:05:28] You can't see Deary.

[02:05:30] Run.

[02:05:31] She literally does that.

[02:05:32] It's so good.

[02:05:35] She fucking hobbles across the room, turns the lantern off and it goes dark.

[02:05:41] And she's just like, oh, I can't see anything.

[02:05:44] Like it's so funny where she is even like, she's like, don't move or I'll shoot.

[02:05:49] She's got a shotgun pointed at an old man and the old lady's like, I dare you to shoot me.

[02:05:54] And you start to.

[02:06:00] Oh, man.

[02:06:01] Oh, yeah.

[02:06:02] That's the dumbest.

[02:06:03] Apparently there's a thing where you can play the piano and she starts singing a song and the mom walks in and says, you're off key bitch and then kills her.

[02:06:11] Like, yeah, why would you play the piano when you're running from your wife or whatever?

[02:06:16] If the mom was still alive and you made it to that point.

[02:06:19] I wonder what happens.

[02:06:20] The mom's not alive and you did it doesn't soothe the fucking.

[02:06:24] The dad or something like that.

[02:06:25] No, not the dad.

[02:06:26] I was thinking of the big guy.

[02:06:27] Tommy or whatever his name is.

[02:06:28] Tommy Pickles.

[02:06:29] Bobby.

[02:06:30] That boy.

[02:06:31] Right.

[02:06:32] Which is funny because I called him Billy when I first saw him.

[02:06:35] I was very close.

[02:06:36] Yeah.

[02:06:37] He looked like a Billy to me.

[02:06:38] So the problem is the whole fire started because one of the youngest hackets was trying to free Silas by the time he was born.

[02:06:45] And he was like, oh, I'm going to be a big guy.

[02:06:48] The whole fire started because one of the youngest hackets was trying to free Silas by starting the fire.

[02:06:54] But it's just supposed to be a little fire.

[02:06:56] But instead, it killed a bunch of people and they freed Silas.

[02:06:59] Well, OK, so both kids were there.

[02:07:02] Yeah, the young one wanted to save Silas.

[02:07:04] The older one set the fire to her distraction so the younger one can go in there and get him.

[02:07:09] And then the younger one was bit by Silas.

[02:07:12] Yeah.

[02:07:13] So both children end up infected.

[02:07:14] Silas is on the loose.

[02:07:15] We have two baby werewolves.

[02:07:17] They then bite their father who then I think that's everyone who gets bit in the Hackett family.

[02:07:22] Actually, those three, the two kids was the father bit Chris.

[02:07:27] Yeah, because he know he know because the father just oh, yes, I'm thinking of the grandfather.

[02:07:35] I'm thinking of the father.

[02:07:37] Chris is also yeah.

[02:07:38] Chris is also a werewolf.

[02:07:40] And as I'm definitely sure Travis is not one.

[02:07:43] I it's unsure if the mom is one or not because she gets shot by the shotgun, which is loaded with silver shells anyway.

[02:07:50] So would it killed it would have killed anyway.

[02:07:53] But I don't know.

[02:07:55] Do you turn into a werewolf if you're inside?

[02:07:57] Yeah, that guy turns into a werewolf because he's in any prison.

[02:08:00] Yeah.

[02:08:01] So never mind.

[02:08:02] So no one's a werewolf because anyone who's not a werewolf at that night isn't a werewolf.

[02:08:06] Yeah, because the full moon.

[02:08:07] Yep.

[02:08:08] Anyways, so that's basically our setting.

[02:08:11] We have a hillbilly family with three werewolves in it who is also has one of them as the sheriff.

[02:08:20] He's like, I'm a police officer and the mom's like, I'm not fucking blind.

[02:08:24] I know you're a police officer, which that mom is not great.

[02:08:28] She's fucking mean.

[02:08:29] It was great when she got shot in the face.

[02:08:31] Yeah.

[02:08:32] But anyways, Travis, our police officer, he is trying to hunt down Silas so he can free his brother and his kids, his brother's kids from the curse.

[02:08:40] Which, by the way, a lot of this stuff that happens, the prologue is all about Travis and then the Laura and Max characters, which in the fashion of the supermassive games, the prologue usually doesn't matter because those characters are just the tutorial and they usually die right away.

[02:08:57] These characters like quote unquote die at the beginning.

[02:09:02] But then, of course, because one of them is killed by a werewolf, he doesn't actually die, becomes a werewolf.

[02:09:08] The other person's trained and it's assumed that she's killed.

[02:09:11] But Travis is like this.

[02:09:13] The cop is like giving off this crazy, like rapey energy or whatever.

[02:09:17] Like he's kidnapping people.

[02:09:18] It's not great.

[02:09:20] The funny thing is, is Travis is one of the best characters in the game and he actually is trying to save everyone and help everyone, which is it's so funny because when I saw fucking Billy or whatever his name is, I was like, those guys are trying to save us.

[02:09:34] I would have fucking gotten us killed.

[02:09:35] I would have ran away from Travis and Billy's arms and then gotten everyone fucked over.

[02:09:40] But it's OK.

[02:09:41] Yeah, so yeah.

[02:09:44] So Travis, the sheriff goes out every full moon hunting Silas to try to save everyone from the curse or whatever.

[02:09:51] And this is also a perfect area for a summer camp.

[02:09:54] So one of the werewolves with his werewolf children host a summer camp for children.

[02:10:00] And that's where the counselors come in.

[02:10:03] They cleaned up.

[02:10:04] It's the last day of summer, the night before the day before the full moon.

[02:10:08] Everyone needs to leave the area.

[02:10:10] But our boy Jacob, he was really trying to hook up with Daphne.

[02:10:16] So he sabotages the van.

[02:10:18] So they have to stay one more night.

[02:10:20] Chris is just like, well, stay inside.

[02:10:22] I'm about to go turn into werewolf, see you and runs away.

[02:10:25] Which is funny because whenever you first see all this happen, you assume you're like, OK, something horrible is going to happen because it's a horror game.

[02:10:33] So he's running away because he clearly knows that something bad happens here at night or something.

[02:10:37] Yeah, it's not. It's hard.

[02:10:39] It's like I didn't think that he was the fucking thing.

[02:10:41] Yeah, he was a monster.

[02:10:43] They cover that up really well.

[02:10:45] Except they gave you so many clues in the beginning, too, because in the beginning, they're like, hey, we're here at the summer camp and Chris's car is here.

[02:10:54] But where's Chris?

[02:10:56] Yeah, yeah, that's where you find the first werewolf.

[02:10:59] And you're like, oh, man, there's a werewolf here.

[02:11:02] Well, the thing is, is that like you get stopped by that cop, which is Chris's brother, Travis and Chris are brothers.

[02:11:09] And so Travis knows that Chris is up there being a werewolf.

[02:11:12] The two people who are counselors, the reason why they get kidnapped is because Travis is trying to keep them from going there early.

[02:11:21] They showed up three days early.

[02:11:23] So there's a werewolf running around. Right.

[02:11:26] And so it's pretty it's pretty cool.

[02:11:29] And so they're in the like, yes, they're in jail for months.

[02:11:33] They the place they get pulled over by the cop is at the site where the fire happened or whatever.

[02:11:39] Like, so that's where they see the ghost of the hag.

[02:11:41] That's where Silas keeps returning.

[02:11:43] And that's why Travis is there hunting Silas and he just happens to bump into them there.

[02:11:49] Otherwise, he wouldn't be there.

[02:11:51] It's like, why would he be walking down in the forest or whatever in that exact area?

[02:11:55] I didn't even think about Silas.

[02:11:56] Well, whenever we first played it, I was like, why the fuck is he here?

[02:12:00] Like, how is there a police officer in the woods?

[02:12:03] Yeah, it makes sense now.

[02:12:05] It makes that makes a lot more sense.

[02:12:07] They forgot about riding with us.

[02:12:09] Yeah, they did a really good job.

[02:12:11] I really liked it.

[02:12:12] All right. So our teens are basically then go into survival mode and they fight for their lives while also trying to hook up with each other and find love, which those that was the worst part.

[02:12:24] Anytime they were hitting on one another, I'm just like, press A to skip.

[02:12:29] Like, I can't handle this.

[02:12:31] Hey, man, it's got to be they got a they got a kiss and make out, dude.

[02:12:35] It's a fucking teen movie.

[02:12:37] Yeah, I guess.

[02:12:38] So then after they kiss and make out a whole bunch, the werewolves start attacking one of them.

[02:12:43] I think Nick becomes a werewolf and then we don't see him for the rest of the game.

[02:12:47] And yeah, you can people can die like a lot.

[02:12:52] Like we never have to die.

[02:12:55] Yeah, I never looked if you click on the characters, the thing I linked or whatever, you can click on each person.

[02:13:00] You can see their possible deaths by you scroll down and click on like Emma or whatever.

[02:13:07] You can see all her different deaths possible.

[02:13:10] Like she could have died.

[02:13:12] Where is it?

[02:13:14] Do you do in Chapter four, Chapter eight and Chapter 10?

[02:13:18] Like so she had three possible death locations.

[02:13:21] Oh, so like there's not like a whole lot.

[02:13:24] Yeah, it's like because some of them are obvious, like some of them.

[02:13:28] Like there was a moment where Travis had a piece of glass in his hand that had silver in it.

[02:13:36] And what's her name who had just turned into because Laura was infected pretty early on.

[02:13:42] And then so she was a werewolf and then they killed Chris who bit everybody.

[02:13:49] So she turned into a human suddenly.

[02:13:51] And then she almost got stabbed by Travis.

[02:13:54] And I was like, OK, it's somehow that would have resulted in Laura's death.

[02:13:58] We got really close there.

[02:13:59] I don't know what stopped that from happening.

[02:14:01] But and then we got and then I got an achievement for everybody working together.

[02:14:05] So it will is there's probably the previous points when we interviewed with him or whatever,

[02:14:11] where it's like depending on how you piss him off, like because we try to be nice to him.

[02:14:15] We call him T money and we hung out.

[02:14:17] Yeah. Yeah, we did call him T money.

[02:14:20] Yeah, that's fun. But then we stabbed him really hard with the fucking syringe in the right.

[02:14:26] That was that was a nightmare.

[02:14:28] That's not good. You can't do that.

[02:14:31] But yeah, eventually we find out the mystery of it all.

[02:14:35] We rest. We get the band back together.

[02:14:37] We kill some werewolves.

[02:14:38] We get some silver and I don't think there's really much more to say about the story at that point.

[02:14:44] It kind of wraps itself up.

[02:14:45] I felt really bad for Travis and Bobby.

[02:14:48] Bobby just gets fucking maimed by Chris.

[02:14:51] He's like the one person that actually died from werewolf attack.

[02:14:54] By the way, I talked about earlier, the werewolves do not seem to be intent on killing.

[02:15:00] They just seem to be focused on infection.

[02:15:04] Yeah, that does seem to be the thing, but he gets fucking massacred by somebody.

[02:15:08] I don't know why he gets killed by a werewolf.

[02:15:10] He gets killed by I don't remember who is a werewolf.

[02:15:15] Which, by the way, look, this guy, this is the guy who plays as Bobby, who he's somewhat I recognize, but I don't recognize him.

[02:15:24] I don't know what he's from.

[02:15:26] What? I don't know what I recognize this guy from.

[02:15:28] Ethan. Oh, yeah, this dude.

[02:15:31] He is in My Name is Earl.

[02:15:32] He's a brother. That's probably it.

[02:15:35] He was also an American history X.

[02:15:37] If you've seen that one, probably not.

[02:15:39] He was also in Wolf of Wall Street, apparently.

[02:15:42] Oh, I love that movie.

[02:15:43] That's where I learned of Henry Zabrowski and apparently he's a fat redhead guy.

[02:15:48] In this game.

[02:15:50] Bobby Hackett.

[02:15:52] He's like, yeah, I guess so.

[02:15:54] Bobby, I felt really bad for Travis, though.

[02:15:56] Yeah, like I was actively rooting for him.

[02:15:59] Well, rooting for him for what?

[02:16:01] His parents were in my mind.

[02:16:03] I wanted him to survive.

[02:16:04] I wanted him to get out of there.

[02:16:06] Dude, when you kill his parents, he has like a very like the way that it's acted.

[02:16:12] Like you see him be visibly upset and like he wants he tries to stop the care.

[02:16:18] So your care, the character that kills his parents is infected with the werewolf disease and she's about to turn.

[02:16:24] And he tries to stop her and you could rush him.

[02:16:27] And he has a gun aided at her with silver bullets and he could kill her, but he hesitates.

[02:16:32] And then he lets her get away, which shows that he's a good guy.

[02:16:35] He just he didn't want any of this to happen.

[02:16:38] You know what I mean?

[02:16:39] He was like, he really wanted to fucking fix it.

[02:16:41] It's because in the beginning, he calls Chris on the phone and he's like, why the hell are the kids still here?

[02:16:47] You're about to transform into a monster.

[02:16:49] And Chris is like, I'm trying to get him out.

[02:16:51] You know, like.

[02:16:53] Yeah, he is a good guy.

[02:16:55] It is sad that he fails in his mission like a kind of a commons mission, but at the cost of everyone in his family dying, including his brother and his children, at least in our story.

[02:17:05] Like I wish we were able to save the Hackett's to like I don't care about the parents, but at least you know, Chris and his kids.

[02:17:12] I think we could have.

[02:17:13] So I got an achievement for killing them all.

[02:17:16] So that is that is that means that some of them could have survived.

[02:17:19] I think. Yeah. Right.

[02:17:21] So there are multiple moments.

[02:17:23] It's like if I didn't take the knife out and stab Bobby, he probably wouldn't have died from the werewolf.

[02:17:29] I bet. And if I didn't fail the QuickTime event with Travis, I don't know what would have happened.

[02:17:35] I don't know if the werewolf would have turned around and killed us all or whatever.

[02:17:37] Like there's so many different little things.

[02:17:39] And a lot of these choices are literally like just obfuscated which character is going to live, which one dies.

[02:17:44] It's like a fucking flip switch, you know?

[02:17:46] Yeah. Oh, another point we didn't cover with the werewolf logic in this is werewolves are invincible to everything but silver.

[02:17:55] Like they don't like water.

[02:17:58] They don't like water.

[02:17:59] They get a super heal.

[02:18:01] Like even an injury you get in your human form will heal if you're a werewolf, which which even more which is really cool.

[02:18:08] Pass injuries, including like at one point Laura has her eye ripped out or slid open and removed or whatever.

[02:18:15] And then she gets infected.

[02:18:17] Her eyeball grows back.

[02:18:19] Yeah. But like you have to wait.

[02:18:20] So her eyeball is still gone.

[02:18:22] She's a pirate for a while, which by the way, there's a person who loses his hand.

[02:18:25] We call it we're like we're like hook hand and then she's got a missing eye.

[02:18:29] We're like eyepatch pirate lady.

[02:18:31] And so and then they start calling each other pirates.

[02:18:33] It's like it felt like we were on the same wavelength of the game for like the whole ride for some reason.

[02:18:39] I don't know why.

[02:18:40] But so like yeah, so she gets healed with the with the eyeball thing, but only after like her werewolf like thing moves far enough along.

[02:18:49] And also it happened when she was actually by the water.

[02:18:51] One thing that I thought was really cool is that one of the first time you run into the werewolf besides when Nick, I think his name is gets mauled.

[02:19:01] The first time after that, you're Daphne and climbing up that that treehouse.

[02:19:06] Right. Yeah.

[02:19:07] And so the cult I thought about this.

[02:19:10] The cool thing about that treehouse is it is on an island surrounded by water and the werewolves hate water and they're scared of it.

[02:19:17] And he locked himself in the top of a treehouse and he had a bug out bag that had clothes, a change of clothes in it and a taser and stuff so that he could defend himself.

[02:19:26] And then Daphne stumbles upon all of that and then opens the fucking treehouse and lets him out, which is like how he gets like loose.

[02:19:34] It's like it's fucking cool.

[02:19:36] You know what I mean?

[02:19:38] Which there's a whole lot of little things like that when you look funny goofs like Daphne looks in the bag and at that point she doesn't have any clothes because they win like skinny dipping or whatever.

[02:19:48] And so she's like, oh, a bag of clothes.

[02:19:49] I'll get dressed.

[02:19:50] And she puts on the clothes and there's actually two bags there.

[02:19:53] There's one filled with women's clothes and one filled with male clothes and she put on the guys clothes.

[02:19:58] And then whenever Max on the island transforms back to normal, he doesn't have any clothes.

[02:20:03] He's like, finally a bag.

[02:20:05] He opens it up and it has his girlfriend's clothes in it.

[02:20:08] So he's wearing like yoga pants and like a crop top as he's running around.

[02:20:13] I forgot about that.

[02:20:14] That's really funny.

[02:20:16] So it's so funny about Jacob and how Jacob goes skinny dipping in Chapter three.

[02:20:21] It does not get close again for the rest of the game.

[02:20:25] Is it his underwear for the whole game?

[02:20:27] It is fucking hilarious.

[02:20:29] And the way that he ends, the way that we got his ending, which I'm assuming is the best ending because he survived, is he is alone in the woods crying to himself in the moonlight.

[02:20:40] It's the only thing sadder than that was me eating my spaghetti in silence with the wind blowing through my apartment.

[02:20:46] That was the only thing.

[02:20:47] Would you get a great moment where like he was laying on the ground and Bobby walks by and tries to help him out by putting wolf blood on his face, which apparently will drive the wolves away from you or whatever or make them not attack you.

[02:21:01] And I think what it is is it obfuscates your smell.

[02:21:04] They said that at the end, which is whenever whenever you had the one vial of blood.

[02:21:08] You had the one vial of blood left and like you chose who got it.

[02:21:11] And they were like, yeah, it like makes you hard to smell for the wolves.

[02:21:15] All right.

[02:21:16] And they poured on his face and then he shows up and they're like, why are you naked?

[02:21:19] And why I hope that strawberry jam on your face.

[02:21:21] He's like, no, it's definitely blood.

[02:21:24] I let a very big man in the jungle in the forest rub blood on my face.

[02:21:30] It's like, why did you do that?

[02:21:33] Because the players told because we made him do that.

[02:21:37] It's like what a normal person would you let someone rub it on?

[02:21:41] God, another point is like Jacob, not Jacob.

[02:21:44] Yeah, Jacob, our big boy.

[02:21:47] He steps in a bear trap at one point.

[02:21:50] Oh, my God. Yeah.

[02:21:52] And then he's like, you know, she walks off.

[02:21:54] Yeah, he's just like, you know, like, don't bear traps like break your legs.

[02:22:00] No, like, like smash you up.

[02:22:03] They will fuck you up.

[02:22:04] But there are like there is a scene, the thing in Jackass where they're punching bear traps.

[02:22:08] They do that a couple of times actually in the movies where they'll put their hands in bear traps and let it slam into their forearms.

[02:22:14] And I think your shin is way stronger than your forearm.

[02:22:17] Yeah, probably.

[02:22:19] Look, but those were but but they were always not spiky bear traps.

[02:22:23] So that bear the bear trap he stepped to do like guys.

[02:22:26] Well, actually, here's the thing.

[02:22:28] He wasn't fine.

[02:22:29] I'm well he was fine afterwards.

[02:22:31] I don't know what they did to him like they patched him up maybe but like he didn't escape the bear trap like they they captured him.

[02:22:39] OK, well, it was weird is like they capture him and they throw him in a werewolf cell werewolf holding cell.

[02:22:45] They develop the hillbillies.

[02:22:47] Yeah.

[02:22:48] And their basement, of course.

[02:22:50] But they know that he he has injuries like scratches and cuts and bear traps and everything else on him.

[02:22:58] But they still put him in there even though, like, do they think he's a werewolf?

[02:23:01] Here's the thing.

[02:23:02] I think they was OK.

[02:23:04] So here's the thing.

[02:23:05] I brought this up before, but I don't I think you were lagged out whenever I talked about this to Melissa this whole time.

[02:23:10] Melissa was playing with us.

[02:23:11] But when you turn into a werewolf, you literally explode like your whole fucking everything on your body, your skin flies off, everything flies off.

[02:23:20] And so the first time that Bubba whatever his name is sees Fred, I forgot his name too.

[02:23:27] So when Bubba sees Fred, he's caught in one of the rope traps that pull you up into the fucking airline thing.

[02:23:37] Yeah.

[02:23:38] That was before he went skimmy dipping, I'm pretty sure when he still had clothes on.

[02:23:41] And that's whenever Bubba helped him and put blood on him.

[02:23:44] The second time they saw him, he didn't have clothes on anymore.

[02:23:49] So exploded his clothes.

[02:23:51] I don't know.

[02:23:52] Maybe he could have been bitten.

[02:23:54] Maybe he blew up and then he's not a ro.

[02:23:56] I don't know what happened because he should have been a werewolf for all night.

[02:23:59] I bet.

[02:24:00] But like they probably were like this guy's got to have been bitten by now.

[02:24:04] Like, so they threw him in the thing and that red light suppresses werewolves or something.

[02:24:09] I don't know what the red light does.

[02:24:10] I don't know if it's like ultraviolet light.

[02:24:12] You know what I mean?

[02:24:13] So it's like making them think it's this.

[02:24:15] I don't know.

[02:24:16] But yeah, I think they thought that he was a werewolf for sure.

[02:24:20] Oh, Janice walked in.

[02:24:21] What's your opinion on the quarry?

[02:24:23] She said, man.

[02:24:27] All right.

[02:24:28] Well, I don't think we really have much more on the story unless you got anything.

[02:24:32] I wanted to say something, but I can't remember what it was.

[02:24:35] And it was like 25 minutes ago.

[02:24:37] Well here we gonna we'll move into our final words and you bring it up and then you bring it up.

[02:24:42] Take a quick break.

[02:24:43] Please.

[02:24:44] Boom, boom, boom, boom.

[02:24:46] And we're back.

[02:24:48] The quarry.

[02:24:49] I'll take this first final word, Snave.

[02:24:51] Now, this one's a shaky one for me because I did not enjoy our playthrough.

[02:24:56] Like the game's fine, but I was losing my mind with boredom just sitting there watching you play.

[02:25:05] Yeah.

[02:25:06] My gameplay with you being lead wolf and me just following you, that sucked.

[02:25:10] Like if you had more people, maybe be better.

[02:25:13] But the way it pauses for everyone to answer, it would take so long.

[02:25:18] Like it would be better, I think, just to either do pass the controller play local co-op or just talk to everyone in the room.

[02:25:26] Be like, hey guys, what do you think we should do?

[02:25:28] And take like your own little straw vote or whatever.

[02:25:31] Yeah, take everyone into consideration.

[02:25:34] Yeah, like actually like let me play the game in some capacity more than doing a laser pointer.

[02:25:41] Be like, hey, why don't you look over here?

[02:25:43] Meanwhile, you've already turned the camera seven thousand degrees so I can't even like see when I'm pointing.

[02:25:47] I think my favorite point is like you're moving so fast.

[02:25:49] I'm like, Naver, you're not going to climb that ladder that's in the corner of the room that you already walked out of.

[02:25:53] And you're like, what ladder?

[02:25:55] You walk back in and it's just a ladder leaned against the wall or a box or something like that.

[02:25:59] Yeah, like a small ladder like that's supposed to go up to like an at like a like a top shelf or something.

[02:26:04] I don't know.

[02:26:05] Yeah, it's like a librarian's ladder.

[02:26:06] I'm like, sorry, we've had multiple ladders pop up before in this game.

[02:26:10] But yeah, so doing the wolf pack sucks.

[02:26:15] But I really think this game could be great couch co-op like.

[02:26:20] Yeah.

[02:26:21] Or even like I'm like, it's weird to say, but I would watch this as a TV show.

[02:26:26] Like it was really well done.

[02:26:28] But speaking of that, being able to control the characters makes a big difference, though.

[02:26:35] That's what you got.

[02:26:36] Speaking of that, there is a mode for just watching it.

[02:26:40] It's called movie mode and the the in whenever you select it, you can select if you want everyone to live,

[02:26:46] everyone to die or you can, I guess, move your own choices.

[02:26:49] I didn't check.

[02:26:50] I didn't see what that was like.

[02:26:51] But yeah, so there's a way that you could do a mode where there's no gameplay at all and you can just have a group of people around.

[02:26:57] And I'm assuming without all of the choices with all the choices taken out, that takes out a lot of free time.

[02:27:02] And I'm assuming it also takes out the moving around parts as well.

[02:27:06] So I bet that the game itself with all that stuff taking out for movie night is probably like three to four hours long, which is maybe like two movies.

[02:27:15] Yeah, it's pretty good.

[02:27:18] Was it I would like to see in the everyone dies mode like that?

[02:27:22] I would choose like the best deaths for everyone or something like that is like what deaths do they choose?

[02:27:27] Because like, like we said, Jake or not Jake, there's so many.

[02:27:31] The names are terrible.

[02:27:33] Fred, he could die in Chapter three just women before the first werewolf even shows up.

[02:27:39] He could die, which is funny.

[02:27:43] But it's also really kind of anti-climatic or whatever.

[02:27:47] If he dies swimming, night swimming, which was like I think night swimming is probably kind of dangerous in a lake where you can't see anything.

[02:27:55] I am not getting in the fucking water in the dark.

[02:27:58] I'm just not doing that.

[02:28:00] Yeah, if you can't if I can't see my feet, I'm not getting in that water in the dark.

[02:28:07] Which that lake water is super clear.

[02:28:09] Actually, that is a very nice lake that they have.

[02:28:12] And they get like even with it being a full moon, there's a lot of light in this forest at night.

[02:28:18] You can see everything.

[02:28:20] Yeah, it is so fucking the forest is dark at night.

[02:28:26] Holy shit.

[02:28:28] You can't see it like me and Philip.

[02:28:30] There's a story.

[02:28:31] Have we already told the story with JP and the snake?

[02:28:33] Oh, do you remember the story?

[02:28:35] Yeah, it was like summer camp.

[02:28:37] We're just walking down the road.

[02:28:38] This is Boy Scout summer camp too.

[02:28:40] We're walking in dark.

[02:28:41] I don't even know if we have flashlights.

[02:28:43] Maybe we just have like a little pinky flashlight that was just pointing at our feet so we don't step on rocks or something.

[02:28:48] And it's like we walk up and there was like a snake that I think just like went right in front of us.

[02:28:53] And I think it was like maybe like JP or something like didn't see it.

[02:28:57] It was like just stepped like right over it right on it.

[02:29:00] And we're like, oh, there's a snake.

[02:29:02] And he's like, what?

[02:29:03] And just looked right down and there's just a snake around his legs.

[02:29:06] Organs jumps.

[02:29:08] You know, snakes are scary.

[02:29:10] Darkness is scary.

[02:29:12] Yeah, but this is going to be a recommend for me.

[02:29:14] But don't play the online mode.

[02:29:16] Just play couch come up.

[02:29:18] And unlike the dark pictures, which I think is actually better in the online mode possibly.

[02:29:24] But I haven't done much local call besides manamodon.

[02:29:28] But being able to control your own character independently is like really good.

[02:29:32] OK, so I remember what I was going to say before.

[02:29:36] That being that these this game changes between the characters so many times that it is unfeasible just how it's designed.

[02:29:45] Because and also they intermingle and like go like it in their groups mix around and there's characters that are off on their own for long periods of time and stuff like that.

[02:29:55] It's like there's so much different going on from the dark pictures games that are a lot more like sedentary.

[02:30:01] I don't know what the word is, but like they're more rigid.

[02:30:05] And so it's easier to like like divide the teams up in this game.

[02:30:09] It would be really hard to do like the online thing that they had in the other games before without like you losing significant portions of information between each other.

[02:30:19] That being said, the online is not terrific.

[02:30:24] Like it's cool that it's here though.

[02:30:26] Like I'm really glad that they gave a damn and they implemented something.

[02:30:32] But I mean, it's not even really a but I still recommend people play the game just don't really do what we did.

[02:30:39] Just definitely have a dialogue when you're doing the discussion.

[02:30:43] But it is going to make the game way longer and the game is already like 10 hours.

[02:30:47] Sorry, pretty long.

[02:30:49] So like you gamer discretion advised, but I really like this game and I would even recommend it in online.

[02:30:58] But just take into consideration that you got to you got to know who's going to be the most active and you have to put that person in the passenger seat.

[02:31:12] I think you know what I mean?

[02:31:14] You have to find the like which one of us is more likely to quit and then put the person that's more likely to quit in the driver seat because if they're in the passenger seat, they're definitely going to quit.

[02:31:23] You know what I mean?

[02:31:25] Oh, yeah.

[02:31:26] Like during the last hour, I was just a zombie at 3am just going like, Naive, please just walk over there and interact with the right thing.

[02:31:34] You're like walking around the whole lodge getting ready for the final battle, uncovering the last mysteries, pulling bunny rabbits out of backpacks or whatever.

[02:31:44] And I'm like, God, Naive, please just end this.

[02:31:47] I was just trying to I would take a bite of my calzone and I've not moved for like 10 seconds and feel like Naive move.

[02:31:55] I'm like, I just want to sleep.

[02:32:00] But yeah, I like this game a lot.

[02:32:04] It's a hearty recommend.

[02:32:06] So on our Twitter, by the way, every time I beat a game, I'm trying to keep track of the like if I beat a story mode of a game, I'm trying to keep track of the game and the way I'm keeping track instead of doing it by a lot.

[02:32:17] I'm not doing it as a list.

[02:32:19] I'm but I'm doing it as a tier list, so I'm like ranking all of the games.

[02:32:24] So where do you think I put this game?

[02:32:26] This is definitely a A tier game.

[02:32:30] A?

[02:32:31] I put this at the top of B because in my A tier, in my A tier, Sayonara Wild Hearts, two of The Walking Dead seasons and then The Terminator game.

[02:32:42] So I like those a lot.

[02:32:44] This game was fucking awesome, man.

[02:32:45] It was like Fallout 3.

[02:32:46] That's how I felt like.

[02:32:47] Remember?

[02:32:48] And then I played Robocop and it just made me fucking kind of mad.

[02:32:52] Okay, I might be thinking of Robocop.

[02:32:54] Yeah, Robocop.

[02:32:55] So Robo.

[02:32:56] It's above Robocop below Walking Dead the third season.

[02:33:00] If that makes sense for everyone.

[02:33:01] Anyway, Phil.

[02:33:04] So you said this game didn't scare you and I'm never scared.

[02:33:07] What actually scares you?

[02:33:10] Alright, the last thing that I played that actually scared me was.

[02:33:13] Not video game related, just like in general.

[02:33:15] What is scary to you?

[02:33:17] I'll start off because I'm blind sighting you with this, but because I've been thinking about this all day today.

[02:33:22] What really scares me are the fucking emergency broadcasts on TV.

[02:33:27] You know what I mean?

[02:33:28] Where it's like scared.

[02:33:31] So you can look up these up on YouTube where it's like these are like simulations of what it would be like if a nuclear attack would happen and just listen to them in all the different languages.

[02:33:42] And like they're translated in English and I'm just like, oh my fucking God.

[02:33:46] Like I just get so scared.

[02:33:47] Like actually I get into a panic state.

[02:33:50] Like just listening to that and like imagining myself playing Xbox and then that comes up on like an amber alert on my phone that says there are fucking nuclear warheads coming.

[02:34:00] And I'm like, oh my God, like that is like the fucking scariest scenario feels like.

[02:34:06] All right.

[02:34:07] Sort of being fucking stabbed.

[02:34:08] The world's going to end in, you know, seven minutes.

[02:34:10] What game are you going to boot up?

[02:34:14] Honey pop.

[02:34:17] Pulling up a porno game on Steve, baby.

[02:34:20] Yeah, so dumb.

[02:34:22] All right.

[02:34:23] As far as like I don't know, like that stuff doesn't really concern me.

[02:34:26] I'm more concerned about any time I pull into a parking space.

[02:34:30] I'm like, this is gonna be the time I didn't turn close enough and I'm just going to scrape the shit out of someone else's car.

[02:34:37] It's like my biggest fear that gets pulled.

[02:34:40] That gets ripped out of you as a mailman because people park next to their mailboxes and expect you to fucking within the fraction of an inch pull up next to their.

[02:34:49] They have some people, some people have so much trust in the fucking mailman dude.

[02:34:53] Like it would just take a fucking fraction of a second of a mistake for me to fucking take someone's bumper off just on accident.

[02:35:01] You know what I mean?

[02:35:02] Like fucking hit someone's mirror or something like it's people really fucking believe in us, I guess, because they just or they just don't give a fuck about their mail, which I don't blame them because I don't even fuck on my mail.

[02:35:13] But it's like when people park like right next to their mailboxes, those fucking bastards.

[02:35:19] I'm all I'm every day.

[02:35:21] It's like it's 20, 25 times a day.

[02:35:23] I think about oh fuck, I'm about to hit a car.

[02:35:25] Oh fuck.

[02:35:26] Here we go again.

[02:35:27] I mean, that hasn't happened.

[02:35:29] No, knock on wood.

[02:35:31] But I have hit a mailbox like three times.

[02:35:35] The same of those times.

[02:35:36] No, but two of those times it was snowy and I just kind of slowly slid into it.

[02:35:41] So I didn't damage it.

[02:35:42] And then the other time it was a huge mailbox and the lid fell open as I drove off and it just like I pulled basically destroyed the lid because I drove it like scraped along the door and destroyed the door.

[02:35:56] But the person was out there and they were just like, oh, don't worry about it.

[02:35:59] That door barely shut anyway.

[02:36:01] And I was like, OK, OK.

[02:36:06] They could tell I was distraught.

[02:36:07] I was like a fresh face to you.

[02:36:09] So we like we got to take care of our baby mailman.

[02:36:15] They don't know what they're in for.

[02:36:16] All right, what are we playing next week?

[02:36:19] Dude, I don't know.

[02:36:20] I'm so happy that we've played a co-op game.

[02:36:24] I'm just like, well, we did it.

[02:36:26] We fucking did one.

[02:36:28] We got another one.

[02:36:29] Have you heard of deceit or deceit to know?

[02:36:34] I don't know if I can do this.

[02:36:36] No, we got to make me fucking do it.

[02:36:38] We had sent DLC keys for it where they unlocked.

[02:36:41] OK, it's like kind of like Dead for Daylight combined with Among Us where there's a killer and infected or whatever.

[02:36:48] But also we get to vote and it goes in phases where it's like, hey, this is normal, like dick around phase.

[02:36:56] And then it goes into like darkness phase where the killer comes out and you're by yourself.

[02:37:02] What happens if we start this game and no one's online?

[02:37:07] Jokes on you because I played two rounds today and there were people online both times.

[02:37:11] Fuck.

[02:37:13] Is it fun?

[02:37:14] It's actually better than I thought it was.

[02:37:17] It looks bad.

[02:37:18] It looks like ass.

[02:37:19] You're going to lie to me.

[02:37:20] No, I play.

[02:37:21] Are you trying to pull me in?

[02:37:22] Pull you in.

[02:37:25] It'll be fun.

[02:37:26] You'll get to play as a werewolf.

[02:37:28] You can reenact swamp werewolf.

[02:37:31] Great.

[02:37:32] A lot of werewolf talk lately.

[02:37:33] Yeah, werewolves are in.
