[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So we finally got a release date for Dragon Ball Diamond.

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be interesting.

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_01]: This was also the week that Lincoln Park came back, got back together.

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it took the internet less than 24 hours to find a problem with it.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_01]: So that was an interesting mood.

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think I got home every day this week and just fell asleep because I was so freaking tired.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I keep all on a sleep, put my kid to bed.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it happens.

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But there has been a schedule of change.

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Cindy will apparently no longer be working on Saturdays.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_02]: That's great.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And for one, I understand the racks availability on Saturdays is a lot better now.

[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_00]: So we might be able to start working out some more regular Star Trek episodes.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah.

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Now definitely looking forward to doing some more of those.

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I really wish I had time to play games.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I've really have time to watch anime anymore.

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I started in beat the game club game for the month and in the week.

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I saw that you basically just murdered everybody and on this one, that's like, oh damn.

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, pretty sure like the only other two people who were playing had like,

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they got in like maybe a few hours in.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_00]: That was like, hey, I'm on a last dungeon.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I saw that pop up as like, oh, I was like, Matt, you didn't have to murder them.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I was determined this time to be the first to like a pick next month,

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_00]: which I already informed to Erin of my choice.

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: So looking forward to it.

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I probably wouldn't have time to play, but I will definitely afford to see what it is.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a fairly short one you'd probably be able to.

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_01]: You'd be amazed how little time I have to do anything these days.

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_01]: That's fair.

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_00]: It's unfortunate.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm excited for it.

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel accomplished now that I've had because I've been wanting to take part in the game club

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_00]: last few months and just either just not having the game or the time to play it.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, oh, shit, this one.

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I just played the remake last year, and I played the shit out of it as a kid.

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So I could probably fly through this game.

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, there's like other domination on that one.

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, and that nothing too crazy has been announced really.

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's been slow news week overall.

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Still waiting on spy family season three.

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_01]: It's coming.

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_01]: It's probably going to be sometime next year.

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Probably.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I believe that I don't know if you heard of the new Stephen King movie The Life of the Chuck.

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_00]: That isn't really theatricaly released yet, but apparently the movie is done because they had a showing up

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_00]: at a film festival.

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm hearing a lot of really good things.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I like the director that worked on it and it's going to be starring Mark Hamel and Tom Hittleston.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_00]: So seems like it's going to be a pretty good one.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I like the story was based off of it.

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_00]: It was really interestingly written because it's kind of like obviously based on the title as like this guy's life.

[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But in the book version, it tells his life and reverse.

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Like starting with like on his death bed and moving backwards.

[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's going to be interesting to see how that how that movie comes out.

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why, but that just reminded me of the original the original Xbox commercial.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember it.

[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's like kind of like the opposite where like the original Xbox commercial is one of the most like what the fuck gaming ad is ever.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's literally it starts with like a woman going into labor and then she like straight up rockets baby through the air.

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And it just ages into a senior by as it's flying through the um,

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_01]: it basically ages to an elderly man as it's flying through the air and then it just ends with a crashing into a gravestone.

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And it just like original Xbox and I'm just like I remember.

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Like one of the most like what the fuck did I just watch?

[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a weird commercial back in the day.

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, like I know the PlayStation 3 commercial like there was like two of them.

[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_01]: There was like this one with like this like animatronic baby that I always find horrifying.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And then there's this other one that I swear to God they didn't even realize they were advertising a video game console.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Why is the commercials that feature babies doing unusual thing is are always creepy?

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Like yeah, like somebody people are creeped up by the singing baby and the talking baby commercials and stuff because babies doing things that unnatural to them that like you know actually doing stuff because it's face to baby's barely doing anything.

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Besides Eden shit.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I got it.

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's like when they do stuff that's unnatural it's just creepy.

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's like isn't it right?

[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I still think the most effective video game commercial ever those the PS2 commercial where they advertise the PS PlayStation 6.

[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Like they don't even mention the PS2 at all throughout the commercial and then it just like they show that the PS6 which is just like this crystal ball like it's like okay.

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Better low in that Sony.

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say with the next generation comes out we better we better see that crystal ball.

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but then like it cuts to black and then it just shows the PS2 logo and I'm always like that is either the worst or greatest video in commercial ever.

[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Now it is.

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Remember, but you became commercials because they're also sterile.

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I read some more I were in a canter of the past week.

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Nice.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I got to.

[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I just got the last bit I read was the little yahiko story with the the chickie was working with.

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I as little girlfriend there.

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we was saving up money to buy a verse played.

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_00]: But actually it happened like almost like seen for seeing exactly the same.

[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I always.

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I hate the fact that I love his art so much.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I get that.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_00]: It's even like more yeah, when you're reading the manga too it's like.

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Like those are like good good illustrations.

[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_01]: They are.

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just like then you realize who he is and you're like,

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_00]: you want to especially like especially like little blurbs between chapters and he's like,

[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, talking about himself in his process and like it's interesting reading like the research behind you.

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Like how he came up with each character but that is just like a more close to you.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And I know it's one of those things that just kind of sucks now.

[00:09:41] Yeah.

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't help but like the story that it's a good story.

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, it's that's the worst part about is the story is great.

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like he's not.

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_00]: But what else?

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_00]: He got me interested in the the revolution,

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_00]: like the restoration of Japan.

[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I want to actually like do research into that now because it sounds really interesting.

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but let's not dwell on him too long because we actually do have a good topic for this.

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_01]: This episode we're going to be talking about the spike family movie code white.

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's how it's over.

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so for a little backstory, me and Alex had covered.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: We had covered this movie when it first came out way back on GNC earlier this year.

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Matt was supposed to join us for that at the time but scheduling conflicts ended up on it wasn't even we weren't able to.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Work it out at the time.

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_01]: We did have a name from gaming together fellow member of the network had joined us for that.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_01]: But I thought it would be interesting we kind of talked about talking about it on geek adx later on but we had discussed we decided to wait until it came out on either streaming or physical media.

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_01]: And I thought it'd be interesting we look at it now retrospectively now that it's been a good couple months since it came out.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And see if it still holds up to our initial impressions which for me and Alex were very good.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I know you would really like it as well.

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I honestly feel like I might have liked them more on the second watch there.

[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_01]: You know that's a thing with spike family because like.

[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I remember when I watched a spike family season one part one I really liked it but then I watched part season one part two when that came out later on.

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And when I was watching that I decided to go back and watch the whole thing from start to finish again.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_01]: The second watch you get it's such a it's somehow better most times I don't know why it just kind of is I think it's because like once you.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The first watch you're kind of still trying to establish yourself with the characters but once you actually know these characters and you kind of follow along with them it really makes the second watch more effective because you notice a whole bunch of stuff you didn't really pick up on the first time around.

[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure because when when you watch through with the first time you're more focused on just kind of like.

[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what's everybody's name and what's their deal what what are they really fit into this you know what you got to have an idea of the structure of the story and you can.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Kind of start to.

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Enjoy the trees more than the forest itself.

[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Especially like just enjoying the.

[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Once you have a full like understanding of the world because this is one of those classic.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I love spy family because I have no fucking idea what time period this show supposed to take place in.

[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a little.

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I love I there it's I think it's supposed to be like cold war erasure many but like.

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_00]: It definitely cold war for sure.

[00:12:56] [SPEAKER_01]: There's some weird aesthetic choices like the cars feel very old but some of the wardrobes like yours clothes in particular feel very modern at times and I'm always like.

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't tell what year this is supposed to be.

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Well yeah, like her like regular hang it out clothes her work closed definitely feel like a time period.

[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but then like you see her in her workout clothes she looks like an average person at the gym these days and I'm just like okay.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but you also then again though your is kind of an anomaly in this universe.

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she's yeah she's probably easily them.

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Weirdly enough she's the most unrealistic despite the fact that we have a literal telepath of it.

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I can see the feature in the series.

[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well it's always kind of like when I was see people who were like they're trying to figure out what country this is supposed to be which I assume it's it's supposed to be Europe.

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_00]: But you're always in the general.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and there's always like people that like they're like what races your because like your looks your looks like the most Japanese out of any character in this universe.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Which theoretically they could be immigrants for all we know I don't really know it's not really explained.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, like super ninja martial arts stuff.

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, also like marketing when we have all these characters with very like.

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_01]: West like Western like European like uh, aircolors and stuff and then they have the most traditional like anime like Japanese style aircolors going on.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_01]: But uh this is all fan there you probably know they're also European and it's just a stylistic choice.

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Well there's also the fact that like I mean they put a lot of focus on West Alice and Estania but like there's a lot of other countries involved.

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00]: So like they can be from anywhere.

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like locationally we know where they're from but like.

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Like as far as genealogy we have they could be from anywhere.

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean the probably know they could be like from like the Slovakian era area like a Slovic like.

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I always in reality.

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a it's a it's a area of Europe that doesn't actually exist so we're supposed to just kind of.

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Not really question it but of course we do because that's what people do.

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Um that being said though it's not important in the grand scheme of things because.

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Spy family is guess we haven't really talked spy family on giga-dix period like we've mentioned it but we haven't really gone into it as a topic.

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I think we were saving everyone's dignity can come on.

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um so we probably won't go super deep but I we can probably just kind of give a bit of like.

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_01]: The backstory for the movie purposes it's essentially a it's a spy thriller slash comedy series.

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Um and it is a such it's that's kind of like the best way I describe it.

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so you know spy has to make it fake family to accomplish is make it's like long term mission.

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah but then surprise surprise he's getting a little too close.

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Um but it's also kind of the whole the joke the whole.

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_01]: The whole like joker behind the thing is he's like the world's greatest spy and she's a master assassin in either of them.

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I can can see the other get me everything really pick up on it.

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_00]: The spy for the four-year-old telepath who knows the board here at secrets by cat room and he'll hers.

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_01]: And the dog that can see this future.

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, so like they think they can't like knows everything's going on but through the lens of a four year old which is just hilarious.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and what's hilarious to is like yours so that the main characters for the series for those who don't know her.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Lloyd forger who is the get the joke forger.

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_01]: He he's essentially a master spy underneath the alias of twilight obviously the lawyer does not as real name.

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't know what his real name is we probably never will find out what his real name is.

[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_00]: If we do it'll be like at the end of this series.

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um yeah he's the he's the master spy and he's currently on the mission.

[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I'm blanking on the name of the mission right now.

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Operation strict stricts that's it which is essentially he needs to infiltrate and get close to the the leader of the.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_01]: The bad the quote unquote the bad guys of this universe.

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_01]: But he needs to have a child but having a child is one thing he also has to be convincing so he needs to fake life.

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's where you're an on you come in on you is kind of like this weird odd ball that he just happens to.

[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_01]: A choir essentially.

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Because she was essentially passed around from every other family because no one could deal with her I guess.

[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, probably why she has like this big like abandoned minis shoes.

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_00]: We that and like she kind of like developed a sense of like okay like I can't tell people on my telepath because like that clearly.

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Folks of people and they said not want me around like I can't show that openly which is ironic because if if Twilight knew he.

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Probably be like awesome like that.

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Help with my mission a lot.

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Or he just be like on your stop stopping mental and Lee insane and go away something like that.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well I mean again like with the whole lens of a four year old thing like she could try to convince him but like it would probably end up coming out like nonsense like how it happens a lot of four year olds and well yeah we've also see later in this movie that Lloyd just accepts a lot of ridiculous shit without really questioning it so.

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's funny too because it seems like he's like he's supposed to be like this super skill super smart guy with so many times with shit just goes right over his head like.

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Like the fact that he's married to a deadly assassin.

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah at the very least that.

[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of speaking of said deadly assassin, you're the other main character of this series who is.

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of people's favorite character for a number of reasons some more some some some some not as great as you think.

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, careful going on the internet and looking up you or you'll see some stuff you I mean you might be into.

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah you.

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_01]: If you're is essentially she is a town worker who is secretly a deadly assassin who works for an organization known as garden.

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_01]: And basically she gets hired to basically just go on different assassination gigs but she is.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she's kind of always people are suspicious of why she's still single and she's worried that that's going to get her out it as a assassin because the in this university there's a lot of martial law going on you can just get.

[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Rested for not being a conformist.

[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think like you know 60s America where somebody even suspects you have anything you have black list in your either thrown in jail or you can't get a job.

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so you're completely by happenstance runs into Lloyd at a um.

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Taylor and one thing leads to another and essentially they end up forming a marriage alliance which is essentially they both know it's a sham but they're going to use it to their advantage so that.

[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Lloyd can do his mission and York and avoid suspicion more than more the charity draws under self just by being herself because.

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess to describe your because yours like my favorite character in the show because she is both.

[00:21:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well I mean it is kind of established that the organization she works for is like it's in a way like why is where it's to maintain overall peace no matter what country you're from so.

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, it's a lot of shit with that like you think like oh this guy's a spy from the other country and everything you know so he's he's here to like work against them but really he's there to maintain balance.

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's really weird because there's like there's three different organizations you'll see going on there's the there's obviously wise which is the spy organization Lloyd works for there's the garden which is like the assassin group and then there is.

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_01]: The secret police which is where yours brother your works and they are essentially kind of like the government police basically.

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Which is really funny because they're aware of twilight but they have no fucking idea who he is.

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but a lot of fungene gets that way that later on yeah now we won't go super deep into the into the series or manga as is because there's a lot of.

[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_01]: That that happens what you're going to just kind of jump right into the film so I'm going to put up a spoiler wall here if you have not seen spy family code white and it's something you would like to watch.

[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Probably stop watching now come back later after you've watched it because it's now on crunchy rules for anyone to watch all the false sorts of languages they uploaded the languages one at a time which was really weird but.

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah the movie the movie as far as I can tell is non cannon.

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's not there's nothing in it that's like completely like un plausible to happen but it doesn't happen in the manga so it's considered non cannon.

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_00]: But it really doted on me how this movie is like the perfect encapsulation of everything that is by a family.

[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Little pieces of everything that make up what spy family is.

[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah this this film is a great if you're not even if you're not interested if you've never so the way I put I should put this is.

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_01]: If you've never seen spy family and you're creatively curious about watching it watch this movie because it is a great starting point like and if you really if you like the movie you can just kind of jump into the you can start the show from scratch and you really not it doesn't really spoil much for you.

[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Granted with where the anime is at right now there's not a ton of plot going on so far.

[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I suppose to to last weeks movie this is why you can easily just watch the movie and not watch the show yeah.

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_01]: They do give you a bit of backstory at the start to at least kind of ease your way in so you're not just completely lost when you start this.

[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_01]: But this movie was originally released back in December 2023 so like right at the tail end of last year in Japan and we got it earlier this year over here.

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And it was produced by the same studio that did the second season of the anime which studio in Cloverworks, which they did a phenomenal job because this film looks gorgeous.

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_01]: The entire country role.

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Because we both watched this film dubbed the entire dub cast returns so you got Alex Oregon back as Lloyd you got Megan Schipman as Ania and you got Natalie Van Sistine I think that's how you pronounce your name as a your.

[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And I love the the the English dub for the show.

[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah it's fantastic like they all nailed their characters so well.

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And yeah so where do you want to start.

[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, alright.

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean we'd start from the beginning I guess because it just starts out because you got to get like a little glimpse of what you see them are doing.

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know Lloyd's on a mission like infiltrating like a.

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Some sort of bridge people party we this was the first time we got to see Lloyd so one of Lloyd skills as he can steal people's identities.

[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, apparently no time flat as we'll see in this movie.

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes but he also can completely convincingly steal a woman's identity and you won't even be able to tell.

[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Like when I at first I was like where the fuck did he go and then I saw I picked up on and he was cut out.

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_01]: He stole the the the the woman's identity as like oh shit you can like steal anybody's identity.

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Was got some range.

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he can change his body shape and make it work I guess.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, but yeah we see essentially we get we get introduced to Lloyd doing his traditional spy shit.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and this shows we can also introduce to the series very unique sense of humor where it's it's a lot of like just kind of like it's like a combination of like shock humor and also just kind of like.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like stuff you with least expect I'd say yeah.

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Like a lot of like very like dry casual humor too.

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like a mix of like dry humor and just like complete nonsense humor like stuff that like comes completely head of nowhere and you're just like what.

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_00]: So the basic story of like how the starts is on you get to school assignment where they it's like a little contest to see who can who can make the tastiest dessert and whoever succeeds will get a stellar star which is like.

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_00]: You know part of the whole mission is that she has to get eight Stella. Yes.

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty much like getting a like getting a cool star at their brain.

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and if she gets if there there's also the negative the little thunder bolts which are if they a big in trouble and if they get a bunch of those then they get expelled but.

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Lloyd being Lloyd essentially.

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Finds out who the the actual person judging the contest will be so he just he does this spy shit and finds out exactly what his favorite meal is.

[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And he decides okay we have to make this very specific meal.

[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_01]: To basically.

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_00]: The judge and style after this specific restaurant that's in a different place altogether.

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and in other words, it's used to go somewhere so they can animate pretty new environments for the movie.

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and pretty they were.

[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_01]: We also get a really great as we need it's a movie so we need to have conflict in our film because the lovey dovey spy family has to have conflict every now and then.

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_00]: So we get this on the most of it is just you're take a chat at proportion as well.

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_00]: It's your vehicle.

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Goalless fuck, but we get this great scene of.

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Your is for some reason she's on the roof with her group of employees that kind of like her but also treat her like shit.

[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're just they're on a roof for some reason it's never really explained but they're chatting about something and everyone's like.

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_01]: They're such a kind of like asking your once again how her marriage is going because they they don't really buy the marriage thing from your all the time.

[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Your your is kind of a.

[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_01]: She's kind of a space case at times.

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And your is busy looking off in the distance just as she happens to see.

[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Lloyd meeting up with nightfall for a spy related thing and from the angle it looks like he's.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Giving another woman a kiss and this immediately causes you're to freak out she's like is that Lloyd if she looks away and he's gone all the sudden because he went in the magical spy phone booth.

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, hop to the corner and basically it starts the whole your conflict of this film where she thinks Lloyd is cheating on her and is not in love with her.

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Which they're not in a real marriage but that doesn't matter right now because yours having her moment.

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_01]: But meanwhile Lloyd is getting his spy his he's getting his meeting with the head of the.

[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Why is to discuss he he they need him to do another job essentially and because of the.

[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Necessity of said job they're going to take him off operation strict and replace him with another person which.

[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Essentially would mean the end of the series in reality.

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_01]: The end of the titular spy family yes and the guy who's replacing him comes off is like the just from the picture alone you realize this guy's a piece of shit.

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and he's he definitely tells again nepotism kind of thing oh yeah and you know he'll definitely boxed the entire thing.

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So Lloyd immediately goes all right how about.

[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_01]: If I can figure this shit out and get this done in a timely manner will just let me stay on this and.

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_01]: The what's him handlers name I was for the actual name.

[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Pretty sure it's just handler.

[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I think she has a real or at least an alias but.

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not important here handler essentially goes basically his hand like Lloyd will basically like him do whatever most of the time she's like okay.

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah also you don't see a ton of yours assassins stuff at least directly involving the assassination group in this film.

[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So of course it is Mary Mary a real dessert I believe so I think I look like.

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_01]: The craziness of his other mission that he had at the time.

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah so let's take a the train there and on you go to the bathroom and she.

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Sees bonds vision of the future of her finding a treasure so she goes to find the treasure and yeah.

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_00]: What's in it is a single chocolate bar bar.

[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes which she of course eats um and my favorite part too is like this is like the most on you should ever like she completely wanders off well because this is also this whole time like.

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yours having like her mental crisis of a Lloyd cheating on it.

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_01]: This is like the thupus second cheating thing that's happened with them.

[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_00]: It seems to happen frequently but um yeah there's a lot of accusations around nightfall.

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And you're you're it meets up the guys who were over.

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah yeah that's going to say like because they're having their whole like like Lloyd's trying to figure out like what's.

[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_01]: What's going on with like your just your acting spacey spacey or the usual and during their whole like conversation they're like I'm just been gone for a while and.

[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to get out of there and also at all because Lloyd's getting to open personal again and she's like alright I gotta go so she.

[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Goes out to go find on you and she happens to like show up just as um the two.

[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And then she's like you're like you're like on your sweetie please close your eyes and then she's just needs to eat the ever loving fuck out of these two.

[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And like two seconds flat and then when I look she's like oh these guys are really clumsy they felt that yeah these guys are really fun.

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah I guess you see for me like this whole thing in her mind about how they're there like these ultimate chocolate thieves that are going to destroy the economy of the country because they stole this awesome chocolate like.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And on he's like, I have some machines.

[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_00]: She's like, I have some words for the chef, please.

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And let's make lunch basically like shut up.

[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I do love that they're waitress.

[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Took the time to get a bowl of food for the dog

[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_00]: as they needed.

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_01]: They had to leave bond outside.

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, he could come back for him.

[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_01]: He goes through the dampering her in this film.

[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But he can't.

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_01]: But as they're having the getting the exposition

[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_01]: of this group of clearly army

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_01]: men, military shows up in there,

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_01]: they essentially just use their authority to break the rules

[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_01]: and they basically just think everything that they want,

[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_01]: including the last Mary Mary which

[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_00]: which is already on their table.

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And Lloyd tries to like kind of like win a wager

[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_01]: for it, but he ends up getting beat out in the end

[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_01]: because of a technicality.

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And basically they find out they won't be getting

[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_01]: a shipment of the ingredients until after their gone already.

[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_01]: So they essentially they make an agreement

[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_01]: that if they go out and get the ingredients,

[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_01]: they'll make them one special for them just so

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_01]: they can have it before they go.

[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It also I found interesting.

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_01]: This was like the first time Lloyd's really failed in the series.

[00:41:21] Yeah, yeah.

[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_00]: For the most part, I mean he fails a lot of things,

[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_00]: just not super important things.

[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_01]: He fails to things that don't involve the mission

[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_01]: like understanding your, but granted yours a very complicated woman.

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.

[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I love the scene when they're sitting at the table

[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_00]: and he and yours like oh my god, he's wearing a turtle back.

[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_00]: He's wearing different clothes.

[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the signs that he's cheating.

[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And he just pulled it to the turtle back like,

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_00]: and I think I overprepared for the winter.

[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_01]: and like they get to the place

[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_01]: and we have this awesome scene of like you're being like,

[00:42:55] [SPEAKER_01]: okay, this should take us maybe the whole day

[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_01]: of going around and then Lloyd like immediately finds

[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_01]: everything in like five seconds.

[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, oh, but like what two or three items?

[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_01]: There was a couple of small things here and there,

[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_01]: but I just love the scene of him just going from

[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_01]: the booth, the booth.

[00:43:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and just like he just knows everything.

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_00]: He's just has like a super power of just knowing everything.

[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_01]: and your immediately is like giving gifts.

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a sign of cheating.

[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, which is automatically like kind of like over

[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_00]: the top because earlier in the movie when they were on their way,

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_00]: she was blushing about something.

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_00]: She was like, oh, it's just my lipstick.

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_00]: My lipstick is making me itchy.

[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_00]: So he's like, oh, you need different lipstick here.

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Like yeah.

[00:43:59] [SPEAKER_00]: He's being, it wasn't like an out of the blue like

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_00]: decision to give her a gift.

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_00]: It was something that was previously like, oh,

[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_00]: you needed new lipstick here.

[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And then we get the great scene of like essentially

[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_01]: on is trying to get them alone together

[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_01]: because she doesn't want them to fight and break up

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_01]: because on you over dramatically thinks of this stuff.

[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_01]: But what happens then next is like your is like

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_01]: mentally just in a panic.

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_01]: So she goes over to a liquor stand

[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_01]: and just gets fucking smashed.

[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Yep.

[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_00]: But like she drinks my family with a drunk your.

[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what's hilarious though is like she gets the strongest liquor

[00:44:39] [SPEAKER_01]: downs it in one thing and it's not because she's so

[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_01]: panicked, it's not enough to do anything to her.

[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_01]: So she needs another one and it's the funniest thing

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_01]: because it's also a bit I love the scene

[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_01]: because it was one of those beans which scenes from the trailer.

[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_01]: We're um, she's so fucking like smashed now that she's

[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_01]: basically like doing her over dramatic crying like flailing

[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Aggressively flirting aggressive aggressively.

[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And then of course yours drunkeness wears off in like five seconds

[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And the next thing is like they end up both on your wants to ride

[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_01]: the Ferris wheel, but she's actually secretly plotting to get them

[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_01]: alone again and she ends up getting they get in line.

[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_01]: They get in and then on you're like, no, I don't want to go in

[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_01]: and never mind.

[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And like basically the leaves them both in it alone.

[00:45:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um, which is funny.

[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_01]: You get some more I'm using a Lloyd and your dialogue

[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_01]: until Lloyd over he basically takes it.

[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_01]: He overcarried he tries to overcorrect too much

[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_01]: and it it overwhelms your so she kicks him out of the Ferris wheel.

[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like while they're in the air,

[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_00]: she just kicks him right out and he still lands on his feet

[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_00]: because he's also inhuman.

[00:46:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, after she kicks him in the face and like lodges him.

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Lloyd takes a beating from your regular basis although he doesn't get

[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_01]: the massive inflated chin this time.

[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I get the cheek instead.

[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, big wealth on his face.

[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_01]: But then of course they they end up getting after this.

[00:46:40] [SPEAKER_01]: They end up getting all of the ingredients except for, um,

[00:46:44] [SPEAKER_01]: this like cherry whiskey, I think.

[00:46:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Or cherry that or look or yeah and it's like completely

[00:46:51] [SPEAKER_01]: this one thing that they just can't find.

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So there's also a backstory thing where like on his like really

[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_01]: bummed about not she wants to spend time with all of them

[00:47:02] [SPEAKER_01]: but Lloyd is immediately kind of like they're like,

[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_01]: let's look for it together.

[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, no, now you guys go back to the room all

[00:47:08] [SPEAKER_01]: fight by myself.

[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.

[00:47:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Which kind of bumps on you, because she really wants to spend time

[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_01]: with both of them.

[00:47:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah and we get this wonderful scene because they also during

[00:47:19] [SPEAKER_01]: this whole thing they cut back to like what's happening back in the

[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_01]: main area where you got, um,

[00:47:26] [SPEAKER_01]: you got a year he's trying to get on the same mission.

[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_01]: So he'll be close to York is your like sister too much.

[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And he essentially gets restrained so he won't run off when they

[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_01]: all of them know.

[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And then Fiona, nightfall is also like doing a basically she's

[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_01]: got, uh, she basically like tricks her way into bringing intelligence

[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_01]: to him even though she wasn't supposed to.

[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she's like saying had the job of somebody else.

[00:47:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, pretty much and we get one of the greatest like

[00:48:01] [SPEAKER_01]: one of my favorite jump cuts in the entire series where you got

[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_01]: like Fiona screaming.

[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, Twilight, Twilight running dramatically.

[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And then it cuts to Lloyd running the same way and he's just going

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_01]: liquor, liquor, liquor.

[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Like the entire theater just died laughing during that scene.

[00:48:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I bad.

[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't end up finding it but in the meantime we do get some

[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_01]: you'd scenes of your and on your playing spy in the hotel room with

[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_01]: on your toy gun.

[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, we can't forget that Lloyd called up Frankie to see if he could find

[00:48:36] [SPEAKER_00]: a way for him.

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, poor Frankie.

[00:48:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, he's chatting up some girl to you.

[00:48:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, oh yeah, that girl comes back into play later to ironically.

[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_01]: But um, yeah, so Frankie ends up getting put on a mission to try and

[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_01]: find this cherry liquor as well.

[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And then bring it there express order, which she says is absolutely

[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_01]: ridiculous and what is but he doesn't anyways because of course he does.

[00:49:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but um, eventually Lloyd ends up failing to find it and

[00:49:09] [SPEAKER_01]: heads back to the room.

[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And they kind of hang out as a family for a little bit before Lloyd gets a

[00:49:16] [SPEAKER_01]: tip where there might be some and he decides, all right, I'm going to go

[00:49:19] [SPEAKER_01]: ahead out and get this right when on is like, but I want to be family.

[00:49:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And it leads to a bit of a conflict where

[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_01]: they're all arguing and then it can be from service person of the known as

[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_01]: the, like, nightfall shows up, which sets sets your off again on her

[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_01]: whole cheating thing.

[00:49:40] [SPEAKER_01]: But then we get so basically, on is so disappointed that he's off

[00:49:43] [SPEAKER_01]: leaving again that she runs away.

[00:49:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I, I, I thought it wasn't first two but on the second watch through

[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I think because she read his mind and he was talking about like, oh, if

[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_00]: if we can't make this work, then I'm going to end up losing the mission and

[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_00]: if family is going to be over.

[00:50:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And she had, she had the vision of where the liquor was so she left to go get it

[00:50:04] [SPEAKER_00]: because she couldn't explain how she knew that's right. That's right.

[00:50:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It was um, she had seen it previously and then she remembered where it

[00:50:14] [SPEAKER_01]: was through her visions mind reading visions.

[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Or no, wasn't that what did bond see it?

[00:50:20] [SPEAKER_00]: She bonds bond bond side in the future.

[00:50:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Right. So like she was like, Oh, okay. So that's the story. It's that.

[00:50:28] [SPEAKER_00]: So she went and got it.

[00:50:30] [SPEAKER_01]: But she kind of framed the note as she was running away.

[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Sort of, but it was a legible.

[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I love that.

[00:50:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I love whatever's up like that happens. He just looks at the paper.

[00:50:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Just a legible.

[00:50:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, what's funny is apparently in the dub, the dub he basically says,

[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_01]: But I pair up, but it won the sub he's like, it's less dramatic.

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like I can't read this or something and then in the dub,

[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_01]: it's just straight up illegible.

[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Because it is all super scribbley and whatnot.

[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's super funny.

[00:51:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is the point where she gets kidnapped.

[00:51:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I do love that like the first half of this movie was just

[00:51:16] [SPEAKER_00]: fun family should add again for the most.

[00:51:19] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it went a bit a little bit too much if they tried to make it like super serious the whole way through.

[00:51:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and what's funny too is the series part is still still comic.

[00:51:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, this series part is more comic, although in some ways.

[00:51:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, in some of the ways, yeah, because I think it's scooped up after buying the cherry liquor.

[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_01]: But I love the part two because they the two it's the two henchmen from the train once again.

[00:51:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're initially they see her walk by and they go like, is that the girl we're supposed to be looking for?

[00:51:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And they bring up this hilarious drawing that looks nothing like her.

[00:51:57] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like this horrendous like, um,

[00:52:00] [SPEAKER_01]: that scribbled like one of those hilarious like kind of like suspect drawings, but it looks horrendous.

[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_01]: But eventually they realize it is her and they just kind of like, grab her there and then.

[00:52:13] [SPEAKER_01]: For bond gets like a he gets like the car that they're running off and runs over Canada nails him in the head.

[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, or guy, or guy just gets knocked out.

[00:52:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, bond at bond is a rough time with it.

[00:52:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So then this is eventually where a.

[00:52:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Lloyd and your end up find their they're out trying to find him will find both of them and they find bond like knocked out in the street.

[00:52:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and bond ripped off a patch off of one of their jackets. So yes, like it identified them as part of the military.

[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And after that they kind of start developing this plan to go and a.

[00:53:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And it involves Lloyd restoring a moth ball.

[00:53:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Airplane that was out in front of the restaurants single handedly, which your doesn't question at all is apparently he can just.

[00:53:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Explains now.

[00:53:22] [SPEAKER_00]: He used to fly them when he was a student.

[00:53:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:53:26] [SPEAKER_01]: That that it's amazing how much your advice this shit.

[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's kind of like similar for the both of them, like they both just kind of let a lot of this shit go without thinking too much about it.

[00:53:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, which is really weird.

[00:53:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Gives it in both of their professions.

[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_01]: But as he's taking up your realizes that.

[00:53:50] [SPEAKER_01]: She's not going to just sit around the entire time.

[00:53:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So she traces after the taking off plane and jumps into the the cargo kit cabin on the bottom run. She runs on foot by the lake is yours as we've established a free.

[00:54:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And she's basically, kind of, stowing away in the plane and Lloyd at this point is in full spy mode and he's heading for the enemy war fortress, which is like this big flying like fortress that's preparing to essentially invade.

[00:54:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And, lo and behold the guy who's leading it is the same guy from the restaurant that we saw earlier.

[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Because of course.

[00:54:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And Lloyd ends up getting close to him. He basically makes this like whole like radio thing about oh we're running low on fuel. We need to make an emergency landing and we please land on your plane.

[00:54:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Which they're immediately like no, shoot them out of the sky.

[00:54:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and what?

[00:54:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, go on.

[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_00]: So he's just immediately crashed with the plane into the airship. Yes.

[00:54:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and as he's as he's basically crash landing into the plane, the the general is basically also like oh yeah by the way, launch the missiles and begin the attack and they're like what we haven't got the we haven't got the clearance to start war yet.

[00:55:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And we're doing it anyways.

[00:55:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And while like Lloyd is doing all this like mid air maneuvering around all the gunshots to get clips of your inside the captain, she's like Lloyd, what are you doing?

[00:55:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, see because she's getting like fucking flung around the fucking cargo hold.

[00:55:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she's like I thought you knew how to fly this thing.

[00:55:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she's like I like the sassy or that comes out every now and she's like the hell.

[00:55:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I do not know this.

[00:55:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Meanwhile, um, on you as taken to the dessert guy.

[00:55:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, basically they're like oh, she, she ate the chocolate.

[00:55:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So he asked her like have you dedicated yet? Have you passed any tool and she just goes, you being poop.

[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Very innocent.

[00:56:02] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like she's like no and he's like all right you two are going to wait there until she craps it out and you're going to retrieve the micro fill because the reason that the chocolate was being transported is there's a little micro chip film in it.

[00:56:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And it had to begin about a 15 minute sub plot of the movie where the old thing rolls around whether or not she's going to poop.

[00:56:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I love how he's like he basically the he makes the terms that the men the general uses our hilarious.

[00:56:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Because like at one point they come back and she still hasn't gone yet and he's like as the child has the girl depicated yet.

[00:56:42] [SPEAKER_01]: But like there's this whole thing we're like they're doing because the two guys are like kind of the the two uh,

[00:56:48] [SPEAKER_01]: henchmen are kind of freaks and like one of them is like all into these weird like ceremonies and shit so they're doing like a shining they're doing like a shaman ritual to get on you to take a shit essentially

[00:57:01] [SPEAKER_01]: And we get to quite possibly the most what the fuck and funny as seen in the film where it's like I thought she was going to legit shit herself here like she's like.

[00:57:11] [SPEAKER_01]: She's got the typical like the most like real face in the entire movie where she's like trying to hold it in

[00:57:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then it ends up like cutting to like her like all like curled up in a ball like on the bed like in agony

[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And then we go into this acid dream like

[00:57:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Sequence where it's like all rainbows and this is where all the films animation budget went

[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_01]: This might go super jibbly for a second. Yeah, and it's like all rainbows as she's like flying into this weird like toilet God and

[00:57:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Our favorite character the headmaster mr. elegant himself is like this weird like fit fairy flying around

[00:57:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And then it's flying by farting yeah and

[00:57:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Legit the entire theater me and Alex were just dying. It's really like what the fuck is this movie?

[00:58:02] [SPEAKER_01]: It's still funny and then like it cuts what she flies into this like toilet thing, but she doesn't actually go

[00:58:08] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just that it's a distraction for the time being because then we cut back to Lloyd getting out of the smashed airplane and

[00:58:16] [SPEAKER_01]: He's essentially now like infiltrating the plane

[00:58:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Meanwhile he has no idea yours in the cargo hatch so she pops out on the other side because the plane it was kind of like wedged into the

[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It was like wedged into the actual like side of the ship, so he managed to get in much your was still on the outside

[00:58:33] [SPEAKER_01]: So yours just like walking around she's like where the hell are we?

[00:58:36] [SPEAKER_01]: You know we cut the bridge and they're like sir there is a woman walking around on the ship

[00:58:41] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like what he's like there's just a woman out there walking around

[00:58:46] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like how care for jokes, and then he looks into the pairscope and he's like

[00:58:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Shit, you're right

[00:58:54] [SPEAKER_01]: They're just like take her out

[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And yours like it's not very nicer

[00:59:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm

[00:59:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I love the fact that she looks into the smashed up front of the plane and she's like

[00:59:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Lloyd are you there and then she's like now he should be fine

[00:59:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right just go about that as she's running across the top of this flying air ship

[00:59:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Which in all reality should have flung her off with the wind but

[00:59:54] [SPEAKER_01]: That's besides the point

[01:00:00] [SPEAKER_01]: So do we want to talk about

[01:00:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Lloyd infiltrating the bridge first do we want to talk about your down in the the cargo hold

[01:00:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's good that you're part because that you are part done first. Okay, so it kind of is related from like the main story

[01:00:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so both of these scenes happen at the same time we kind of alternate between the two like it goes back and forth

[01:00:23] [SPEAKER_01]: This was actually Alex is one criticism of the film which I kind of agree with although it is a badass scene

[01:00:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Pointless to the entire thing and it's literally there just so your has something to do

[01:01:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well he's like an art walking armory like he's gotten the entire like fucking like robot. He's basically a robot

[01:01:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Pretty much but yeah, this is essentially it's like they send that out to deal with your because yours basically destroyed the ship at this one

[01:01:25] [SPEAKER_01]: They send this to they send him out to deal with your well, they deal with the situation up front because by this point

[01:01:35] [SPEAKER_01]: runs off from the two inch of in and they go through all these like

[01:01:40] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the it's the typical scooby due chasing whether I'm going through different things and they just can't catch her

[01:01:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah until they'll she finds a bathroom and she finally is and she has like a brief little like

[01:01:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Gloom or of that big animated scene we had earlier when she sees the toilet. Yeah, and she's just pure happiness

[01:04:20] [SPEAKER_01]: He needs a reason to be on the bridge so he like

[01:04:24] [SPEAKER_01]: He rips up his a button

[01:04:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And just kind of flings it out on even the things like oh dear my button fell off. I have to go get it

[01:04:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because um because I knew it was hidden underneath

[01:04:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Like a trap door or something and

[01:04:40] [SPEAKER_00]: She managed to you know, she smashed her head against a pole or whatever any hurt this sound just put two and two together

[01:04:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, she bashed her head in on this thing and I'm like Jesus Christ on you

[01:04:54] [SPEAKER_01]: But by doing this like a the guy note we can he like picks up on the fact that it's Lloyd

[01:05:00] [SPEAKER_01]: It isn't who he's saying he is and he just shoots him and it actually like raises his skull and I was like holy shit

[01:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Like yeah, like it just kind of skims his disguise a little bit say a little bit of his hair poop pops out

[01:05:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then it like kind of they're like he's basically like every he tells all the other guys on the bridge

[01:05:18] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like take him out and they just they speak like shooting scene goes on

[01:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Hands up destroying the bridge as it's going on, but

[01:05:29] [SPEAKER_01]: It basically what happens is they end up

[01:05:33] [SPEAKER_01]: He has like filling the entire room with gas because they want to keep on so essentially gasing

[01:05:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Faking out but in the process like the windows get like smashed open so all the gas ends up escaping

[01:05:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, and it inadvertently saved the day again because yes, busted out of her

[01:05:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Her bindings and just kind of accidentally hit the right button. Yeah, but what's great is

[01:05:57] [SPEAKER_01]: In the confusion with all the gas Lloyd manages to steal the generals appearance so there's just two of them

[01:06:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Which we find out he can legit change appearances in a split like a split second

[01:06:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like no tie-flat

[01:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And we get this group we get one of those classic like man in the mirror scenes where he's like it's such a

[01:06:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And of course all the henchmen end up picking the wrong one it's the real one

[01:06:26] [SPEAKER_01]: terrible

[01:06:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And basically what happens is like the ship is at this point because your has been

[01:06:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Fucking shit up down below the entire ship is now basically in a crash horse and they eventually

[01:06:39] [SPEAKER_01]: They basically call in a bandage ship and get everyone off

[01:06:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Can you talk about how should you beat the guy?

[01:10:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Some of the greatest on your faces that we'll see in this show

[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Eventually the ship crash lands into they managed to avoid the city and they crash landed into a lake

[01:11:14] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like the calm before the storm but they're kind of like they land and they're like is it over and then they just get

[01:11:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Out in water and I was like that was just like the faces they all make they're like what?

[01:11:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but then but then we get like the funniest reveal where like they're all just sitting there after this

[01:11:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Normally be a traumatic event for most for normal people

[01:11:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Where on you is just kind of like sitting and

[01:11:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Lloyd kind of looks over at me goes what's that in your teeth and then he just pulls out the microchip that was stuck in your teeth the entire film

[01:11:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it didn't even get swallowed nope so the entire shit arc was entirely pointless but great at the same time

[01:11:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then like the whole the whole time they're going back and then

[01:12:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't really get a resolution with the restaurant but it's implied that they of course went back it. Oh, yeah

[01:12:09] [SPEAKER_01]: She also gives Lloyd the the cherry liquor as her reasoning for why she ran off and

[01:12:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Lloyd kind of usually Lloyd would be more like questioning on this but he kind of just let's it go

[01:12:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because he's happy that she's not dead

[01:12:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Pretty much this was the most caring Lloyd we've seen so far I will say

[01:12:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Two degree I mean he's definitely had his moments he's had his moments but like I think overall he was very

[01:12:38] [SPEAKER_01]: More caring than usual because a lot of the times he just holds on you by the scruffy for neck like a cat which I think is great

[01:12:46] [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I really did enjoy this one and then we of course get the we get the great conclusion because you got to remember this film

[01:13:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, which is great but we also get the wonderful scene two of like when Lloyd delivers

[01:13:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Handler we get this great scene where she's like oh, yeah by the way the guy that was gonna replace you he got out it as

[01:13:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Being unfaithful to his wife and it shows an image of him that was caught and

[01:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: The girl that he was he was sneak in around with was the girl that Frankie was talking to earlier

[01:13:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And I was like oh, look like that's an interesting. I didn't even catch on to that

[01:13:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I noticed it. I was like oh, that's interesting like right right here

[01:21:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Pretty weird that's you that's that Yuri's sick at this point and it's it's it's mostly played for laughs but holy fuck dude

[01:22:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's why the fandom ships those two for whatever reason even though there's like no signs of that at all

[01:22:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Entirely is like just a perfect encapsulation

[01:23:05] [SPEAKER_01]: So highly recommend anybody who hasn't seen it. Oh, yeah definitely and if you have crunchy roll it is fully available there now to watch

[01:24:23] [SPEAKER_00]: It's my man. He doesn't catch up very quickly either with the manga because we only get like a chapter every couple weeks and

[01:24:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Divide himself more time it'll just be like a short three page like mini chapter

[01:24:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Which I mean to be fair is how we got the you're getting shot in the blood thing, but

[01:24:45] [SPEAKER_00]: It is a little frustrating when you're reading week week to week and you waited two weeks for a chapter and I got with three pages

[01:24:53] [SPEAKER_01]: See that's the thing end up. I love endos aren't like the way he draws

[01:24:57] [SPEAKER_01]: It's it's a very unique style and I just like it
