[00:01:44] Finally it's been like a week since our last recording so we've actually had time to play some games.

[00:01:48] So getting right into it. What are you talking about? I played games last time too. I beat a whole ass game, Philip, last weekend.

[00:01:54] I also almost beat a whole ass game last weekend but I stopped early to get on the pod.

[00:01:59] I don't want to revive this. I don't know why I brought it up.

[00:02:05] Dude, so I beat Hotline Miami 2 last week.

[00:02:10] Do you feel good?

[00:02:12] No, I don't, dude. I haven't been that fucking pissed off in a very long time and the only reason I beat it is because I put a poll up on fucking Twitter and I was like, dude I'm right at the end

[00:02:23] but I don't know if I can do it. Because twice, dude.

[00:02:26] I hope I'm strong enough.

[00:02:28] Twice this happened to me. I got to two of the hardest levels in the entire game. It also happened to be the hardest levels in the game.

[00:02:36] I got to the very end, killed the last enemy after like 30 minutes of fucking agony.

[00:02:41] So much rage that I could see the clouds part and I could see Yahweh's face looking down upon me like about to welcome me into the fucking pearly gates, dude.

[00:02:51] I was so fucking mad. I would kill the last enemy and then the game would not proceed.

[00:02:57] I would just be stuck in the level and I would have to restart the whole fucking, oh my God, my blood pressure's rising just thinking about it.

[00:03:04] After the second time I put a poll up on Twitter people basically were like, suck it up pussy you can do it or die trying.

[00:03:11] And I went back. I went back and I beat it.

[00:03:15] And it wasn't as bad. Like it's never as bad the second time.

[00:03:19] Both times that happened I literally phased out of reality.

[00:03:23] I think the second time it happened it was like 11 15 and then the next time I had a conscious thought it was like one in the morning.

[00:03:31] And I had to work at five in the morning so I was like just sitting on the couch just blankly staring at the TV.

[00:03:37] Yet somehow you like if we're looking at your tier sheet you placed Hotline Miami 2 above the quarry.

[00:03:44] In B tier because it is it is better.

[00:03:47] I would rather play out on Miami 2.

[00:03:49] Be honest.

[00:04:50] It is a good game and it's just oh man I want to play the first one and just like think about it.

[00:04:57] Like I wonder I wonder how good the first was compared to the second one.

[00:05:00] I bet I definitely think it's probably like somewhere in the A's but I'm just I still am recovering my heart.

[00:05:07] I beat it like five days ago and I'm still like really stressed out.

[00:05:51] Like I think this is way more interesting than control that might just be me being a weeb also.

[00:05:57] But like there's just so much cool fucking imagery in this.

[00:06:00] And speaking of cool imagery and control and everything.

[00:06:04] I'm playing through that.

[00:06:05] I'm literally right at the end.

[00:06:07] I'm like I think I have like one more chapter.

[00:06:10] I've only been playing for like three hours and three and a half hours.

[00:06:13] So I'm pro gaming it.

[00:06:14] But this game is also so fucking visually.

[00:06:19] This is the best looking game I've ever.

[00:06:23] I'll walk around the corner and I'll see water and I'll be like dude look at that water.

[00:06:27] Look at how it's interacting with the fucking rocks over there.

[00:06:32] This game looks insanely good.

[00:06:34] But it is so also very stressful.

[00:06:37] I this this is the only game besides the first Hellblade that I've ever been playing.

[00:06:42] And I'm like this is too intense.

[00:06:44] I'm like getting physically stressed out and I'm not getting it's not frustration.

[00:06:48] It's not like excitement.

[00:06:50] It is literally just so visually audibly intense that I have to put it down and do something else.

[00:06:57] So I've been like balancing between Ghostwire and Hellblade.

[00:07:01] I've like literally recharged to get back into Hellblade 2.

[00:07:04] But the game is awesome.

[00:07:06] It reminds me of I already said control.

[00:07:10] But another thing this is a weird comparison but it reminds me of Catherine where the game you know how Catherine is like really intense puzzle for like for like an hour.

[00:07:22] And then you have like three hours of like visual novel basically.

[00:07:25] This game is like really intense combat for 30 minutes and then it is a walking simulator for an hour.

[00:07:31] You know what I mean?

[00:07:33] So it's like one was to.

[00:07:35] Yeah, it's very similar to that.

[00:07:37] And so I don't know how much people are going to like enjoy Hellblade 2.

[00:07:40] I haven't really been online.

[00:07:42] I haven't been looking at reviews and stuff.

[00:07:44] I saw it got like an 81.

[00:07:46] But like other than that, I don't really know what the consensus is.

[00:07:49] But I'm really, really liking Hellblade 2.

[00:07:56] I'm going to I'm excited to see how it ends because I remember when I beat the first Hellblade, the way that it ended really boosted it up for me.

[00:09:15] But yeah, I just the new season apex came out and I've just I've actually been playing that a lot too.

[00:09:20] But I've been playing on PS five randomly because it's easier because the lobbies, the people aren't as fucking sweaty, I guess, on console.

[00:09:32] So it's easier and it's more fun.

[00:09:34] But it could be because controller it just has aim assist and I fucking you can just one click everyone very easily.

[00:10:41] Went inside his chest, reached heaven in heaven.

[00:10:46] I did a boss rush of every boss up to this point, defeated them all,

[00:10:52] fought Ganon, dark lord of darkness.

[00:10:55] And once I defeated him, the angel of calamity emerged from

[00:11:00] Godzilla's heart and I'm already turning out.

[00:11:03] Yeah, I know that.

[00:11:05] This is a good idea to do.

[00:11:07] Yeah.

[00:11:08] And I beat the game.

[00:11:10] So I placed it on my tier list.

[00:11:13] As rank, I was really mid on this game actually starting out.

[00:11:18] But that ending was so good despite how RPG as hell it is or JRPG as

[00:11:24] hell it is with the stupid killing God at the end because I'm like,

[00:11:27] great, we were literally saving cats at the beginning of this game

[00:11:30] and we ended up killing God.

[00:11:36] But the game is good.

[00:11:37] And we're in a Roland.

[00:11:41] I'm not still 100% of the pronunciation of his name.

[00:11:44] I teared up with his soul story at the end.

[01:00:39] So all these all of these guys have like passive abilities to act

[01:00:47] And two activated abilities you can switch between and then an ultimate right?

[01:00:50] So the other night I was playing with the guys over at neon pocket dimension

[01:00:55] And they had a bunch of people from their server

[01:00:57] I had a full lobby of six people and we were all drinking and then I remember getting into an argument

[01:01:02] With somebody because so the the splinter cell guys

[01:01:06] Their passive is that they aren't on the map and then they have an ability where they go invisible, right?

[01:01:12] And so but they the guy was attributing that to the ghost recon people I

[01:01:17] exclusively play the glue streak on people and know that they don't have the

[01:01:21] Invisibility

[01:01:41] Don't see it a lot because the scan is just better like it's better

[01:04:37] As well that tick when you shoot and so how much damage you you do

[01:04:50] You know when you're shooting and you're doing like numbers numbers come up that that's so sweet

[01:04:55] Which is pretty pretty good feedback when you're hitting things like the the hit indicators that really good

[01:13:28] Are concerned and the rectangular ones in general are just better in every way like Emporium

[01:13:34] The one that is literally just a rectangle and there's a big like two-story area in the middle

[01:13:38] That one's very fun. And then the other one that uh

[01:13:42] The other rectangular one nudie plex or whatever noodle plex

[01:13:46] That's the watchdogs one

[01:13:48] that one has the kind of big open area in the center, but then the two hallways on each side and

[01:13:53] That one is extremely fun as well because of it's it's hallway oriented

[01:13:57] So there's not a lot of like sideways momentum happening

[01:14:00] But whenever you get into maps like Liberty is fucking cancer

[01:14:05] The Pueblo is fucking cancer arenas even worse

[01:14:08] Like some of these maps are fucking just a nightmares to fight a show

[01:14:14] Showtime is my least favorite one. Like that one is literally there are windows everywhere

[01:46:56] I just only used the marksman. I was level 2 when I started no-life being the marksman rifle

[01:47:09] Ak has more recoil and it kind of does a little bit more damage than the m4 but not really

[01:47:21] Firing the practice area and there's a test dummies there that you can see exactly how much damage it does when you shoot

[01:47:27] and I was comparing the guns and

[01:47:29] The AK just does more damage further out like close up

[01:47:34] It does the same as like the m4 like almost basically the same

[01:47:38] But the difference is the rain the damage range on the AK is more so people further away

[01:47:44] You're gonna do more damage than the m4 would

[01:47:46] Well, you can see the detailed stats on guns cuz like you have the basic like firepower mobility accuracy ammo like bars

[01:47:53] Then you press G. Yeah, it'll give you like bullet fall-off damage

[01:47:57] They'll give you like charts telling you everything you need to see

[01:48:02] But you press G on the gun or whatever and you can see like all the extra bullshit

[01:48:25] Like so all those numbers are just out there that you get actually milliseconds time to kill in the firing range on the dummies

[01:48:31] It tells you yeah, so you can compare the millisecond

[01:48:36] And how it how long it took with all headshots or all body shots or whatever for each of the guns at each of?

[01:48:41] The ranges there's four ranges. I think four dummies at different ranges

[01:48:45] So you can compare directly how fast the time to kill is per gun. That's pretty cool

[01:48:52] Power to the players, but I did notice that yeah, the m4 is just good

[01:48:56] It's the same but only kind of mid mid to close range and the AK is better further

[01:49:27] Yeah, it'll be like there's a challenge use the fire bomb and do so much damage

[01:49:32] Scan so many enemies with a scanner. I got yeah, I got the second one for the scanner

[01:49:37] Character I was trying to get them on with the fire dude the next one for the fire dude the cleaners

[01:49:41] But you have like 50 kills with the fucking drone. It's hard
